I was a Brownie too, Jude, but dropped out altogether shortly after becoming a Girl Scout - I got all miffed about not being allowed to do as many fun things as the Boy Scouts did.
Also wanted to say I'm so sorry for dropping out of sight and not writing for ages. I got swamped with work and sort of cut off all contact with the outside world!
