Amen. Yet when Bush touted America as an "ownership society" he didn't mention that it was his friends about the do the owning. Guess the developer lobby is none too happy this morning as they oink around their offices.

Interesting blog. I did a post today about Bill Richardson. Any ideas on his prospects for 2008?
Hi Ed--thanks! Taking a quick look at Richardson's natal (sunrise, Nov 15, 1947, Pasadena) chart it doesn't look so grand for Nov 2008 for him.
There is now, however, an "exaggerated new plans" transit going on as Pluto continues to affect his natal Moon, but as for Nov '08, there are more factors against his presidency than for it.
If he campaigns I will, of course, look more closely!
Some people say that the close of the balloting--by which I assume they mean 11 pm--shows who's winning based on whether Saturn (Ds) or Jupiter (Rs) is nearer the top of the chart--the Mc/Public Status Point. Sad to say, in 2008, 11 pm--it's Jupiter.
