"stuffed suits" who never served

Today Tony Snow said that Senator Kerry "not only owes an apology to those who are serving, but also to the families of those who've given their lives in this."

And when he says, "IN THIS"...Snow means the Iraq War "this." This is the this to which he refers.

White House Spokesman Slams Kerry Remark continuing the kill-the-messenger-avoid-the-message tactics which Kerry then called the "classic GOP playbook." He also called Snow a "stuffed shirt" ha ha.

Guess the wiffle ball is in Tony's court now.

SO'W has to be with Kerry on this one--WHO owes our troops and their families an apology? The liaring war-profiteers who sent them there under a ruse?

Say whaa-a--aa, Mr. Snowjob? Rrraow-w-w-w! Cat Fight! I LOVE Washington Cat Fights when they're among politicians who are just shining us on anyway all the way around.

Will Slam-the-Messenger-Who-Tells-the-Truth work for the jingoist GOP just before midterm elections?

YOU be the Decider. Please.

Call For Change

Call For Change

With November midterm elections almost upon us, we have an opportunity to re-define our world rather than continue accepting the war-mongering model Washington politicians have foisted upon us. Is their mindset our mindset? Is the beltway reality yours and mine, or only theirs?

MoveOn.org has some info you may want to check out before you cast your vote.

And you can verify that your name hasn't been lost or mysteriously "purged" from your local voting rolls by visiting mydem.democrats.com. Avoid nasty surprises on Voting Day, because with paper-and-document-influencing *Mercury now retrograde until November 18, it may be a l-o-n-g month in the ballot-counting and winner-declaring departments, my peops.

Hold on to your Diebolds, it's going to be a stumpy ride.

*Read my Oct 15 post on midterm elections 2006 for chart details for Nov 7, Washington DC, 11:00 pm, which symbolically represents the end of the balloting, and thus, the election results themselves. We hope.

A. Q. Khan is stable

Too bad the world isn't so stable after Khan sold nuclear weapon technology to North Korea, Libya, and Iran apparently under a delusional the-more-the-merrier concept. Let's get this party started?

Well, the 70-year-old Khan has been treated for a blood clot after some cancer-related surgery, so he's not partying as much these days.

Not to worry, World, Disgraced Pakistani Scientist Is Stable...but was he stable before? Hey, what room have I to talk? We've got a dry drunk's finger on The Button...who's shown the world what he's capable of.

Can the grown-ups with some common sense take over now...PLEASE?

more GAO warnings of looming disaster$

David M. Walker, US accountant-in-chief, will be touring the nation for the 2008 campaign cycle and continuing to warn the country of the "fiscal black hole" Washington has dug us into since the 90s.

And you KNOW who has been at the helm while the GAO Chief Warns Economic Disaster Looms and Washington insiders talk about anything BUT what we need to face and deal with most, or there won't BE a ship to steer--or steer astray. Of course, the "elite" will have theirs, won't they? And it seems they rather obviously care nothing for the nation who brung them.

Meanwhile, we're being punk'd by politics once again...

white powdery message to Clinton

Is this an October Surprise? Substance Said Found at Clinton's Office from an envelope opened by a woman.

Saturday UPDATE: Rambling diatribe, Clinton! Seems the Substance at Clinton's Office Not Toxic after all. Whew.

Is it 'sufferin' anthrax' time again? The disgruntled-citizen archetype speaks out in an ineffectual way...

Last evening's post starts here....

There are many surmises to be made from the chart (police called, 3:45 pm edt, Harlem, if you want to look) but without more details that's all it would be--surmises.

Here are the Sun/Moon Images for this afternoon which may be instructive of the day:

Sun Scorpio/Moon Capricorn (Cap Moon = the ambitious woman):

A general leads his troops to victory...A film director plans each shot to maximize its emotional impact.

And I'd say both may apply whether the "white powder" turns out to be bogus or not...and we may never really know, no matter what the line.

Will check back on this tale tomorrow and post a chart if should be instructive.

Meet the Dems: Levin, Pilosi, Feingold

My intention is to post some info on prominent Democratic personalities in case we find ourselves travailing under them once November midterms settle in--strictly a "just in case".

Today we have on deck: Carl Levin, Nancy Pelosi, and Russ Feingold.

These were chosen in a clump because they share Full Moon personalities, and are within range (no birth times known) of having the obsessive-compulsive Quindecile aspect between Moon and Mars.

As you know, the natal Moon describes much about our emotions, and Mars represents the dsesire nature--how we intitiate and direct our actions and energies.

In a mundane chart, the Moon = the public or the people--so in a politician's chart, this has an obvious connection to their natal Moons. Politicians obsessed about the public? Ya don't say! On behalf of the public would be appreciated!

Two of the charts we'll consider today--birth times unknown--will have two possibilities for the Moon's positions since she moves quickly through the 24 hour period and may move into the next sign. Exs: Carl Levin, who has Moon in Aquarius in he was born after 4:02 pm, and Russ Feingold with Moon in either Virgo or Libra.

Let's get the Moon/Mars *Quindecile out in the open first: may be agressive in fulfilling needs, emotionally abusive or ruthless; hair trigger temper tantrums and quick mood changes may be prominent; strong, passionate emotional convictions which may result in positive outcomes when put to practical use. (Sounds helpful for a politician!-jc)

Levin, Pelosi, and Feingold share the Full Moon personality blend which is often viewed by others as "the extremist." This blend (and the correct Moon sign doesn't affect this assessment) has a sense of life vs death, and fertility vs barrenness--a polarization which is constantly affecting this personality.

Balance and stability need continual shifting in the life perspectives, and a "middle of the road" must be found in order to achieve the high objectives of this blend.

One moment there is a sense of security--materially and intellectually--the next there is a plunge into turmoil which affects all relationships.

The most basic purpose of the Full Moon personality is preservation of the species and if a well-rounded, mature personality is developed by adulthood, the goals are within reach in spite of the constant inner state of flux.

There are hair trigger emotions (underscoring the above-mentioned Moon/Mars aspect), great self-expressive ability, and creativity. A constant stream of feedback and approval is required from others or the self-esteem swings very quickly down to the depths of despair and self-doubt.

There is a good ability to learn by one's mistakes, and a conformity vs anarchy element may be noticed. A keen sense of purpose, a sense that life is to be lived in the here and now, and major achievements mark this blend esp if the volatile child is allowed to develop into a stable adult. This is the "own best friend or own worst enemy" combo which ideally becomes the mature achiever.

The following are the Images for Integration (from Sun Sign-Moon Sign, by Chas and Suzi Harvey):

Carl Levin (June 28, 1934): Sun Can/Moon Cap:

An ancient water mill works away in rhythmic fashion, meting out just the required amount of fluid force to grind the corn that nourishes and sustains the village.

If born after 4:02 pm, Sun Can/Moon AQ:

A mother and child skip down the street, arm in arm, to attend the Vision for World Peace charity fete in the part...The world as family...A science museum inside a restored medieval castle...Carl Orloff's Carmina Burana.

(Perhaps someone who knows Levin better has a good guess as to which is correct--I vote for Moon in AQ, plus, "Carl" Orloff!-jc)

Nancy Pelosi (Sun Aries/Moon Scorpio):

Charlie Chaplin saves a maiden in distress...a passionate woman sells herself for her cause...The Godfather films. (Pelosi shares this natal blend with Tom Delay--shocking!)

Russ Feingold (Sun Pisces/Moon Libra, at sunrise):

A theatrical-musical artist entertains his entourage of friends and fans...Two lovers dream the same dream...A team of writers create a masterpiece.

Or, if born with Moon in Virgo:

A mosaic picture of the universe, each piece perfect in itself...Small events bring enormous consequences...Faith and reason shake hands.

(Someone who knows more about Russ Feingold could probably answer: is he a Virgo worker or a Libra charmer? I'm going to guess Moon in Virgo because I'm hoping
"Faith and reason shake hands" is the case which would be a welcome change in Washington, wouldn't it?-jc)

Well, there ya go: my first installment of Meet the Dems!

To be continued...

Fristy advice to GOP hopefuls

Bill Frist says the media hasn't covered the passing of the energy bill last year by Congress which has resulted in "taxcuts and lower gas prices."

Dear Bill, most voters weren't in a high enough bracket to receive your taxcuts other than the measly one Bush used just after he slipped into the White House backdoor the first time. Whom do you think you're talking to?

Frist to GOP hopefuls: Don't Stess Iraq is quite ridiculous...quite a stretch. To the voters who got the taxcuts it isn't news and probably comes under the preaching-to-the-choir category, and is there anyone who doesn't know that there's more in play with lower oil/gas prices than what a rubberstamp Congress enacts?

This latest (president-in-his-own-mind) Frist crowing may fool a few voters, but I hope most people have been paying closer attention to Washington and our do-
little Congress than to be swayed by such a weak argument!

Judging by the polls of our disapproval of Congress, Frist's effort at midterm elections damage control falls far short of the reality of the real world outside the beltway.

Outburst: Comet Swan

Space Weather News for Oct. 25, 2006

COMET OUTBURST: Astronomers report that Comet Swan has suddenly increased in brightness 4-fold, from magnitude +6 to +4.5. This makes it a naked-eye object in dark skies and a lovely sight through backyard telescopes. The cause of the outburst: A new vein of volatile ice may have opened up in the comet's nucleus. Solar heating transforms this freshly-exposed material into streams of bright, reflective gas and dust. Indeed, backyard telescopes seem to show new tendrils of gaseous material in the comet's long tail.

Visit Spaceweather.com for sky maps, images and more information.

Signs in the sky? Is the Swan trying to tell us something?

Bark from the White House

As Bush barked from the White House this morning he again defined our generation with the challenge that "defeating extremists is the calling of this generaton."

Assuming that he's correct, let's get outselves out for the midterm elections and restore some balance in Washington--in Congress, if not in Senate.

He's not, of course, referring to the extremists who are infesting Washington these last several years--that would take a long look in the mirror (are we sure he has a reflection there to see?)

While Bush catapulted prop, then "answered" lovely setup questions lobbed at him from "reporters" in cahoots (or merely cowed by the hint of litigation?) transiting Mars, Venus, and the Sun were nestled around the "2 Scorpio" degree of the NWO's natal Sun. So he was speaking from "on high" all right--direct from the puppetmasters to you, m'peops.

Remember that yesterday was the NWO's (and the UN's) birthday(s)--see previous post.

And last weekend's meetings supposedly concerning the Stay the Course/Cut and Run mantras were about how the phrases might need retiring from use because they've became sound bite lightening rods--not for any true Change of Course policy considerations. As Halliburton says, things are $going well$ in Iraq.

It would be a huge surprise if Bush's reassessment of his war in Iraq has anything to do with anything but the midterms at this timely point--ya know it's true.

Here's a timely quote from a man who actually WAS a Republican once upon a time--before they became virtually extinct:

Now those who seek absolute power, even though they seek it to do what they regard as good, are simply demanding the right to enforce their own version of heaven on earth, and let me remind you they are the very ones who always create the most hellish tyranny: Barry Goldwater (thanks to LegitGov.org )

Tyrannical barking, skewily defining an entire generation of people, oil barons seeking more control of the Middle East's oil reserves no matter how many pawns have to die--it's Bush in the catbird seat 2006 in process of dissolving America, and leaving the Sheeple to depend on---wait for it---the DEMOCRATS, enablers of the tyranny, who gaze longingly at the ideal of "Peace" and at color swatches for their new drapes.

May I suggest a lily-livered puce for the throw rug?

ps: the ongoing Jupiter (Rs)/Saturn (Ds) square is exact today (final time, #3 from 12:54 pm --2:46 pm edt) signaling the end of a 5-year+ period of cost-cutting by US corporations. We've seen massive legislative stalemates with the two societal planets (Jupiter/Saturn) increasing tensions within our 2-party system.

It's been a time of major structural (Saturn) changes in the US economy and in the way we do business--with the Sheeple on the shaft end so far. Trade agreements are obviously a large part of this re-structuring as are corporate outsourcing and downsizing which have caused so many losses and misery in the US job situation.

So SO'W wishes to send out a sarcastic 'thanx' to corporate America with its sorry, oppressive, greedy, and plutocratic Pluto/Chiron ways. You set yourselves above your country a long time ago and now your plans are nearing ultimate fruition, NWO in tow. You imagine yourselves above the common man, but that's where you're wrong. Any sheeple in any nation is far superior to you...morally, spiritually, and Utimately.

Happy Birthday New World Order!

Where justice is denied, where poverty is enforced, where ignorance prevails, and where any one class is made to feel that society is an organized conspiracy to oppress, rob and degrade them, neither persons nor property will be safe. Frederick Douglass

An "organized conspiracy to oppress, rob, and degrade"? The NWO will be 13 years old Tuesday, Oct 24. The United Nations and the NWO share a birthday--what a happy surprise! Which means that the UN (Oct 24, 1945) and the NWO (Oct 24, 1993 is the chart I use--Uranus conj Neptune #3) have the same Sun degree of "2 Sco":

"A delicate bottle of perfume lies broken releasing, its fragrance."

Keynote: The accidental nature of opportunities that impel one to break away from a past, the remembrance of which is still poignant and cherished. Older feelings are poignantly remembered even as one moves into a new and wider sphere of experience.

Keyword: the past one has SURRENDERED. Appropriate for New World Order (Odor?) plans, si?

And since there are those who believe we're being set up to accept the UN as an arm of the NWO, it may not be so accidental that they share Sun (purpose) degrees.

Add to this the fact that the NWO has another Return ongoing, its Mercury (communications; thinking) Return. This Return is emphasized by a couple of things--Mercury and expansive, codifying Jupiter have been traveling in tandem--conjunct--and the Mercury Return is a triple one due to Mercury's soon retrogradation at the end of October.

NWO's Mercury, which natally is conjunct Mars (energetic opinionation; thought = action) has and will return to its natal degree 22Sco25 on these dates:

Oct 21; Nov 3; and Dec 2, 2006.

(UN's Mercury Return was in mid-October.)

Look for some highlighting of this degree during this time period, and of course, a triple Mercury Return will entail some review, reassessment (Bush this weekend supposedly reassessing the Iraq War? Or as I had thought, reviewing The Agenda, including the midterm elections In Light Of the Iraq War Propaganda?), and re-doing. Plus, HARPING on one's point is a definite possibility with a triple Return.

Many people have mentioned this administration's concern with how things sound rather than how they actually are...you can put me in that category...Saturn's reality vs Neptune's illusion continues to affect the entire world and has been most useful for their propaganda purposes.

NWO's Mercury degree> "23Sco": "A rabbit metamorphoses into a nature spirit"...

Keynote: The raising of animal drives to a higher level. Keyword: TRANSUBSTANTIATION (has a religious ring, doesn't it? Kind of Vaticanesque.)

The rabbit is traditionally a symbol of overabundance of progeny, thus of a great stress on procreative and sexual processes (abortion and gay marriage ban? pedophile priests and politicians?-jc)

"Nature spirits" on the other hand, represent the higher aspect of life energies, and they are said to guide those normally invisible forces controlling the growth of all living organisms.--*DR

Sounds like they're up to their old tricks of "control" and invisibility...so if perhaps you should hear a mention of "rabbits" in the next few weeks, remember the Mercury of the NWO may be speaking out! Or is it...synchronicity?

Bush says, habeas who?

Don't miss this barfworthy info from LegitGov.org:

'That's outside the bounds of American history.' Howard Fineman, MSNBC's 'Countdown,' commenting on Bush's signature on the Military Commissions Act of 2006 17 Oct 2006

'National yawn as our rights evaporate' --New law redefines habeas corpus; law professor explains on 'Countdown' 18 Oct 2006 Keith Olbermann: President [sic] Bush, happy Habeas Corpus Day. First thing this morning, the president signed into law the Military Commissions Act of 2006, which does away with habeas corpus, the right of suspected terrorists or anybody else to know why they have been imprisoned, provided the president does not think it should apply to you and declares you an enemy combatant... Does that not basically mean that if Mr. Bush or Mr. Rumsfeld say so, anybody in this country, citizen or not, innocent or not, can end up being an unlawful enemy combatant? Jonathan Turley, George Washington University Constitutional Law Professor: It certainly does. In fact, later on, it says that if you even give material support to an organization that the president deems connected to one of these groups, you too can be an enemy combatant. And the fact that he appoints this tribunal is meaningless. You know, standing behind him at the signing ceremony was his attorney general, who signed a memo that said that you could torture people, that you could do harm to them to the point of organ failure or death. So if he appoints someone like that to be attorney general, you can imagine who he’s going be putting on this board.

Olbermann: The Day Habeas Corpus Died 17 Oct 2006 Keith Olbermann: Today, 135 years to the day after the last American President (Ulysses S. Grant) suspended habeas corpus, President [sic] Bush signed into law the Military Commissions Act of 2006. At its worst, the legislation allows President Bush or Donald Rumsfeld to declare anyone — US citizen or not — an enemy combatant, lock them up and throw away the key without a chance to prove their innocence in a court of law. In other words, everything the Founding Fathers fought the British empire to free themselves of was reversed and nullified with the stroke of a pen, all under the guise of the War on Terror.

The death of habeas corpus --Olbermann: 'The president has now succeeded where no one has before' 11 Oct 2006 On "Countdown," Keith Olbermann examined the Military Commissions Act of 2006 and what it does to something called habeas corpus: "The president [sic] has now succeeded where no one has before. He’s managed to kill the writ of habeas corpus. Tonight, a special investigation, how that, in turn, kills nothing less than your Bill of Rights... The reality is without habeas corpus, a lot of other rights lose their meaning. But if you look at the actual Bill of Rights, the first 10 amendments of that pesky Constitution, you’ll see just how many remain for your protection.

Shame on Us All --History should record October 17, 2006, as the reverse of July 4, 1776. By Robert Parry 18 Oct 2006 From the noble American ideal of each human being possessing "unalienable rights" as declared by the Founders 230 years ago amid the ringing of bells in Philadelphia, the United States effectively rescinded that concept on a dreary fall day in Washington. At a crimped ceremony in the East Room of the White House, President George W. Bush signed the Military Commissions Act of 2006 while sitting behind a sign reading "Protecting America."

Bush signs terror 'torture', trials bill 18 Oct 2006 US President [sic] George Bush today signed a bill allowing tough CIA interrogation and military trials for terrorism suspects. The new law means Mr Bush can continue a secret CIA program for interrogating terrorism suspects he believes have vital information that could thwart a plot against America.

Bush Signs 2007 Defense Authorization Act 17 Oct 2006 The fiscal 2007 National Defense Authorization Act provides more than $530 billion for the military to 'win' the war on [of] terror. Senate and House conferees added a $70 billion supplemental provision to the $462.8 billion in budget authority to cover the cost of ongoing operations in Iraq, Afghanistan and the Horn of Africa, as well as other expenses affiliated with the war on [of] terrorism.

Who voted to violate the Constitution and their oath of office? By Mark Yannone 17 Oct 2006 The following congressmen voted for the Military Commissions Act of 2006 (a.k.a. The Detainee Bill, a.k.a. The Torture Bill, a.k.a. The Death of the Great Writ of Habeas Corpus).

Hastert: 'Democrats would pamper terrorists' By Frank James 17 Oct 2006 ...House Speaker Dennis Hastert issued a statement today in which he lauded the president and congressional Republicans for enacting the legislation [Military Commissions Act of 2006]. "The Democratic plan would gingerly pamper the terrorists who plan to destroy innocent Americans' lives. While House Republicans work to deal with these dangers like establishing Terrorist Tribunals that will prosecute enemies of America, Democrat Leader Pelosi and 159 of her colleagues voted in favor of NEW rights for terrorists." #

And Denny Hastert would pamper Mark Foley as long as the cat was still in the bag.

Once the cat got out, it was a different tail, wasn't it?

Bush-Rove surprisingly 'upbeat'

Is this a false display of devil-may-care due to the upcoming October Surprise Rove has planned to stun the electorate into another round of mindless, gutless voting?

NewsMax.com's Bush and Rove 'Upbeat' offers confirmation of shenanigans afoot mentioned in yesterday's post. More anthrax, Karl? Any sort of attack will make the Republican regime seem even more incompetent, so what could he have up his jester's sleeve?

Such a delicate balance! Rove needs enough to scare the sheeple into voting for the Rs, but not so much as to hoist the neocons on the pittard of their perfidies and ineptitude. And the source must be untraceable, of course.

On Tee-Vee: Then we saw Senators Hagel and Warner supposedly "break with Bush on Iraq" this weekend. Mere tap dancing and a little patter to keep the undecideds entertained...a big Puh, imho--not worth the price of admission.

And NPR is reporting today that Maliki and Bush had a phone chat where Maliki asked Bush if it's true the US is giving his government "2 months."

But Bush assured him he didn't have to worry. Wonder if George knows he's being punk'd? Which leaves all of us with that Dude-where's-my country-feeling again.

Yes, Bush has made a bigger deal of the so-called Iraqi constitution than he does of the one he's sworn to uphold, protect, and defend. Definitely doesn't make me wanna go, bahh-h-h-h in November--no matter what Rove's simmerin' in his witch's cauldron.

midterm elections 2006

Here's the lineup for the Nov 7, 2006 11:00 pm est Capitol Building:

Asc 12Leo09

Saturn 24Leo21 (Saturn = Dem Party rising, but hold your taters, there's shenanigans afoot);

Ic/Foundation 2Sco23 "3Sco": "A house raising" (!) but will it be enough to ovecome all the dirty tricks they'll use against the electorate's will?;

4th house is full of the ongoing Saturnian Scythe exact just the day before--a pattern indicating that the Establishment (Saturn) is desperately fighting for its life and using dangerous tactics in any attempt to save itself.

Read more about Saturn's Scythe at John and Susan Townley's excellent AstroCocktail.com where you'll find that Saturn (authority, the leader; in Leo, sign of leadership) will soon be alone as resistance gathers and his dubious allies desert him in the fray. We see this now as the Moon joins a T-cross formation in league with Jupiter, Saturn, and Neptune...and Saturnian plots multiply like fleas.

In fact, a terroist attack--or something attributed to one--is not out of the question, as others have noted, for this desperate Saturnian leadership. Seems the London Airplanes-to-America "foiled attack" didn't play to the peanut gallery as well as Rs (and Ds in cahoots) expected, did it?

And with Mercury Rx in Scorpio (sign of--sorry you brilliant Scorpios--betrayal and spying) it looks like a recount (Rx) will be in order. Mercury goes direct--perhaps the election count will be finalized?--on appr Nov 18...or at least election issues should settle down around that time. Squirrelly voting machines are a given, sad to say.

Images for the Sun Sco/Moon Gem:

A virtuoso violinist touches the hearts of her audience...Trivial Pursuits goes macabre...The mystery of life in a strip cartoon...Dostoyevsky's Brothers Karamaov...Rodin's The Kiss, Hands. (Sun Sign-Moon Sign, Chas and Suzi Harvey.)

The Moon "21Gem": "A tumultuous labor demonstration" = PROTEST> (Moon = the public; the populace) and Moon is out-of-bounds, acting on her own without the rest of the actors interfering. But will this expression of the collective will be enough to override a desperate Saturnian establishment? This degree speaks of oppressed or repressed energies staging an EMOTIONAL OUTBURST and claiming their due.

One technique in a US election chart is to see whether Saturn (Ds) or Jupiter (Rs) is closer to the MC/Aspiration Point of the chart at the close of the ballot box.

Saturn is rising, as noted, and Jupiter is stuck near the bottom of the chart in 4th house as part of the Scythe's blade, so Ds are closer to the Mc. (But the 2004 prez election chart showed the balance tilted toward Gore but with the Part of Treachery active in the election chart--and in Bush's natal chart.)

And with the Sun/Moon midpoint conjunct the 2nd cusp--house of Values--we could see a major exodus from the Republican incumbents and candidates. (Lying us into war and continuing to lie about it comes under the "Values" heading, too, imho, as in "they have none.")

Also noted in a previous post, the Dem Party just had a Progressed (Sec) New Moon in August...the beginning of a new cycle of activity where the Sun's light brightens and grows. But it's still early days yet in this cycle.

Now if we can just get the Ds to hold the Bush administration accountable, kick out the crooks and creeps (incl their own), and keep themselves reasonably responsive to the ones who bring them to the dance, America can feel more like herself again.

Here are the midpoint pictures for this chart:

3 T-squares...

1. Moon/Pluto = NN (the public, esp involving zeal and propaganda): emotional upsets in teamwork; lack of adaptability;

2. Neptune/Asc = Sun: exploitation; deception;

3. Neptune/Asc = Mercury: guided by erroneous impressions or perceptions; open to deception (as are the voting machines!);

Neptune/Mc = NN: peculiarities; sharing bad intentions with others; unpleasant or difficult associations;

The Moon "21Gem" is conjunct Bush's natal Uranus/NN (unsual groups associations; reformers) which are conjunct in his natal chart, and sitting upon his Sec Progressed Mc 'now' (Ura/NN = Mc: desire to bring plans to fruition jointly with others; teamwork paying off);

Nov 7: Uranus/NN = Moon: a team taking a stand.

So Saturn's desperate teamwork = shenanigans afoot, as noted above.

But soon after 11:00 pm, the Moon (the public) will conjunct the election's Asc/Mc midpoint: showing others how one feels about things.

Hope it does the US--and the world--some good. It's been a l o n g six years and we're weary of these a-wipes...of both parties and of all persuasions.

As any liar knows, you must cover cover cover with more lies and equivocations, as AP writer Tom Raum shows Bush doing in his article...because it becomes...well, complicated as Bush Keeps Revising War Justification in honor of the November 7 elections.

Over at Lim's Limericks they call it lying through his hat. Guess loyal Barney really is the last one standing for his master for it's in his dog's nature, but don't tell Lim--he's allergic to dog dander.

In today's world it's Evil vs Evil and every dictator for himself.

The Bill of Rights preexisting + Foley's chart

The Framers of the Bill of Rights did not purport to "create" rights. Rather, they designed the Bill of Rights to prohibit our Government from infringing rights and liberties presumed to be preexisting: Justice William J. Brennan, 1982

9:30 am

Update 4:26 pm: have received the correct chart details for Mark Foley, Sep 8, 1954 4:55 am edt, Needham, MA, here we go:

Images for Sun Virgo/Moon Cap personality blend: A student passes entrance exam to a prestigious technical college...Fine bone china...A headline: "Small-town boy makes good." Hmm.

Here are his natal planets/ASC + MC:

ASC 28Leo25, Pluto rising, 25Leo21 (tr Saturn approaching Pluto/As...ouch.)

MC 21Tau49, with Midas conjunct...notice how often you've heard "he raises money for other Republicans;

Sun 15Virgo10, in first house of Self;

Mercury 00Lib03, in 2nd house (Juno, associated with abuse and/or the abuser is conjunct n Mercury which represents young people), and the Sep 22 Solar Eclipse in the 8South Series (loss; endings; sad partings) seems to have affected Mr Foley's chart relating to young people--for the public to see--Mercury conjunct a World Point, 00Libra;

Neptune 24lib21, Venus 1Sco20 (the NWO's Sun degree); and Saturn 5Sco44, all in 3rd house--if Foley escapes punishment it will be powerful friends helping him out;

Ic 21Sco49, where Jupiter is transiting now--Jupiter to 4th house has to do with moving or traveling of some kind, and/or with the start of a new career; no planets posited in n 4th house, but tr Jupiter will soon square natal Pluto--his 'mojo' may quit working altogether, charismatic as he naturally may be;

5th house of Speculations/Risk-taking/Children/Creativity/Romance has:

Mars 5Cap44; NN 12Cap50; Moon 17Cap43; and Chiron 23Cap23 Rx--Chiron Rx is a maverick as is Chiron in 5th house (the "monster"); in Placidus House System, Can/Cap are intercepted so there may be a 'crisis' flavor to them, and definitely an unconscious influence to these energies;

next house with planets: 11th house: Jupiter 23Can01 (also a money indicator as is Saturn in Scorpio/Midas at Mc, the WHY Point), and Jupiter is conjunct Uranus 26Cancer--Jupiter/Uranus the "lucky break" combo.

Power, money, sex issues abound for Mr Foley, and recently the tr Saturn/Pluto midpoint has been triggering his natal Neptune: fraud; lies/falsehoods; the desire to harm others secretly; immorality; instability; shattered nerves.

Using Bil Tierney's Dynamics of Aspect Analysis, we find that a Cardinal Neptune as apex planet of a T-square gives Foley a lack of staying power in relationships--he's a very impatient man who ends relationships if too much is required of him.

Apex Neptune tends to take impractical, poorly-organized actions when intitating his objectives. He "jumps impulsively into weakly defined activities with blinders on."

(Perhaps that's where tr Neptune now at the "A man unmasked" degree has attempted to enlighten Mr Foley--his blinders may have been removed.)

Self-deception, escapism, eccentricity, a love of devising schemes, and a quick use of "the easy way out" are self-defeating strategies that only work for so long, and his vulnerability increases to the extent that he avoids self-analysis and discernment. He attracts deception to himself by ignoring these psychological issues.

Foley's career of preying on young men which involved his workplace in his schemes shows a lack of discrimination, to say the least. Designing short cuts that promise "the most the soonest with the least amount of effort involved", and a his choice to remain ignorant of his deeper motivations, have brought Mr Foley to ruin--in part because a mismanaged, super-sensitive apex Neptune leads, not to extreme creativity as it could if sensibly directed, but to self-negation or possibly an exaggerated self-contempt.

Yet as we know, he who despises himself esteems himself a great self-despiser.

Bush defends Rose Garden

UPDATE 7:20 pm: just had some time to look through my files of personages to see if anyone's chart in particular had links to Bush's press gaggle/self-justification session this morning, and one name in particular popped out immediately--natal and sec progressed: Henry Kissinger. Thought you should know...

...original post starts here:

George Bush began defending himself, his policies, his handling of North Korea, his removal of Saddam from power, his incorrect, lowballed Iraqi civilian body count, and Denny Hastert this morning in the Rose Garden, 11:02 am edt.

Yesterday's US ammunitions stash being blown up in Baghdad was no more than a background whisper when the increased violence was touched upon during the 63 minute session.

11:02 am: WHAT...Rising was 2Sag49--"3Sag": "Two men playing chess"...ya think?

WHY...Mc 17Virgo31--"18Vir": "A ouija board"...great, maybe that would help. The unconscious/neg/shadow side of this degree is: a bondage to superstition and a surrender to the unknown.

Midpoints also rising:

Mercury/Pluto, the propaganda duo, which are personalized in Bush's natal chart by being placed in his first house...

Mercury/Pluto = Asc: exercising influence upon one's environment; intellectual domination. (Don't snicker--he was so angry he forgot to mispronounce the bigger words. The man's no dummy, as I've always said!)

also Neptune/Mc = Asc: acting and pretending; living in an unreal world; taking the wrong path or pursuing the wrong objectives; uncertainty or insecurity.

When a reach-around reporter asked him if he would do anything differently in Iraq, he had his chance to frame the issus as, "Abu Graibh hurt us internationally--eased us off the moral highground."

The fact that he, Bush, was not ON moral highground after the way he lied us into an illegal war bwo illusory WMD was glossed over. His ability to ignore peoples' opinions on his Iraq wolf-crying vs what he says now about US threats made to North Korea, Iran, etc, is never addressed. A "moral highground" would come in handy, but all Bush has is the shifting sand of his own lies, propaganda, and oil controlling attempts.

No time to type out all the midpoint pics, etc, but I can tell you the chart--and the chart for his big finish today (a curt, "thank you for your interest", 12:06 pm) show a personally insulted, angry, sharp-tongued man who's feeling the restrictive effects of the current Saturn to natal Venus transit he's laboring under.

Today's 'press conference' further emphasized Venus/Saturn restriction as tr Venus conjuncts natal US Saturn (authority; control) in the Sibly chart.

He's not feelin' the love, people, and the "chess game" is a stalemate he resents having mentioned as reporters uttered the fact that some are accusing him of failing--with North Korea, Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan, and the rest of the world he pretends to ignore. This press gaggle was set up to answer the North Korean dictator...he had to say something after the nuclear tests his adm tried to say were "maybe nuclear" tests!

More than once he used the "finish the job or they'll follow us home/listen to bin Laden, don't believe me/the enemy will follow us here" lines--and they'll be searching for YOU, George, as they were on 9/11/01. Seems they want to "finish the job."

Transit Neptune today at "18AQ": "A man unmasked"--still causing trouble in Washington. The unconscious/neg/shadow side of this degree: self-betrayal through exceptional ineptitude.

Chart-ruler--the Republican mantra'd Jupiter "21Sco" at "A soldier derelict in his duty." Descriptive for Mr Bush. And with Jupiter inconjunct (150 deg, an aspect of adjustment) the Moon (the public), the spinning heads and Bush shills will have much work--spouting and touting--to do to make today's performance acceptable to the American people.

No, Bush isn't feeling as invulnerable as before. And it shows. Yet my sympathy is with America--Bush I can still do without.

10.11.06 1:50 pm

2:06 pm: neglected to say that the Sun today is conjunct the US sec progressed Mars now Rx by progression for the first time in our history...Sun highlighting our military/war/quarrels which I think relates among other issues to the blowing up of our munitions in Baghdad. We haven't heard the last of that esp considering how little we've heard--and it's a big honkin' Oops on our part.

3:03 pm: NPR just reporting a small AIRCRAFT was flown into a NYC BUILDING but I'm not seeing anything about it online. As mentioned earlier, tr Venus conj US Saturn-- tr Mercury was conjunct US n Saturn on 9/11/01.

you know elections are near when

With North Korea giving George a Shout-Out with nuclear--or bogus nuclear--testing, and e-coli and botulism in the news bwo spinach, lettuce, and beef (and there'll be more) we're supposed to get our knickers in a wad about our food supply, and the "growing threat of a nightmarish nuclear future."

Now a turnip knows that worrying never brings the best outcome. And a Christian knows that our Creator is calling the shots and will be the Decider on the ending of things--not some psychopathic pervert in Washington or on the Korean Peninsular--or in Iran or China, for that matter.

Today, while driving in my car, I heard a little of the Neil Voort (sp? Or is it Boort?) Program--that flat tax guy) talking to the author of a new book on Islam and its true intent. Gist was: be afraid, be very afraid. Yeah, we know.

But do the words, 'convenient timing' mean anything to ya? How about November 7? Seems our enemies try to give Bush and the Rs reach-arounds, as Jon would say, when elections come up--like osama's tape prior to the last prez s-election.

Such a collective trance--can we break out of it? I'm not saying there arent't threats to our food supply, chem waste plants being blown up, or whatever.

But I'm saying once again: the time for lies and propaganda are actually OVER. It's time for clarity--not the Bush propaganda kind--the real kind. It's Saturn opposite Neptune--reality vs deception...and I know you're tired of this list, but here it is again:

Saturn opposite Neptune exact (partile) three times:

1. August 31, 2006
2. Feb 28, 2007
3. June 25, 2007

We're in the thick of this opposition now (an appr 36 year-cycle) well into 2007 with all sides barking their heads off to overmake their points for their team and confuse issues toward what they THINK is their advantage.

Their conjunction--the beginning of the cycle that's coming to fruition with the current opposition--was in March, 1989, at 11Capr55. (I know because I have a natal planet there.) Ah, yes, 1989.

2006: the constant flow of information into our heads is exhausting nore than enlightening much of the time, for a never-ending "did I just hear what I think they said?" vibe is making people out-of-sorts and crazy. So many people just shut down--which is part of the politicians' game, too, the better to make their secret deals and plan plan plan. Enslavement's on the menu, and the trussing continues until it's too late to struggle free. Is it too late now?

Only if the populace DOES NOT WAKE UP and see things for what they really are: the manipulation of propaganda with more control on the way. "Our way of life" truly is under seige--East vs West truly is the game, but these liars and crooks in Washington being able to stop the tide--now THAT's a crock from a crook. How fair is it that "our way of life" is under seige from Them, too?

If the West were as upright and aboveboard as we like to think we are, we'd stand a much better chance. And that is the basis, imho, of the feeling--intuition--that so many people express these days--that America is on the wrong track. We're not aboveboard, we're waterboarding with George Bush--and our enemies love his style just fine. It does, in their minds, justify their death-worshipping psychopathy as evidenced by our intrusion onto their holy sand in Iraq.

You can't negotiate with psychopaths, it's true. So what are we to do with the ones in Washington?

John Lennon: still missed

John Lennon born Oct 9, 1940 6:30 pm BST (most often used birth time), Liverpool, England, assassinated Dec 8, 1980 10:50 pm EST NYC; died 11:30 pm with transit Chiron, the Wounded Healer or The Wound 14Tau22 Rx, conjunct US Presidential Inaugural Ascendant (ASC = the Office of the President.)

Lennon's assassination took place just before a Great Conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn, the societal pair associated with US political parties, aka Republicans and Democrats.

Jupiter conjunct Saturn on Dec 31, 1980, 9Libra30, conjoined Lennon's natal Mars/NN midpoint (meeting a gun? his n 8th cusp: 29Sco38); and his pre-natal Solar Eclipse, 15 North Series: 'joy through commitment and relationships; good news concerning partnerships; parenthood'. (Brady's Predictive Astrology.)

John Lennon's natal chart shows a Jupiter/Saturn conjunction in Taurus (both Rx) in First House of Self and Physical Body, emphasizing his interests in Politics, world peace, and societal improvement. The evening of his murder, the above-mentioned tr Chiron was conjoining his Jupiter/Saturn conjunction.

A la an anxious President Nixon: Lennon was under threat of deportation from the US if he didn't tone down his peace protests (like you can have too much desire for peace.) Well, governments don't like that much especially when it affronts or challenges their huffy authority and criminal war activities.

Images for John's natal Sun Libra/Moon AQ:

'A group of literary radicals stage a "love in" to protest against government military policy (this one devised in his and Yoko's honor, no doubt)...In an elegant opera house, a trendy jazz musician performs ragtime with a symphony orchestra.'
(Sun Sign-Moon Sign, Charles and Suzy Harvey.)

This blend gave him a deep social conscience and a sense of belonging to the human family.

Which doesn't explain most of today's politicians, does it? Aliens, I figure...not part of the family with their bestial natures uppermost and waging war against the rest of humanity.

August 18, 1965 during the Uranus/Pluto conjunction: this reluctant astrologer saw the Beatles in concert in Atlanta. My friend, Becca, and I were the only ones in the entire stadium who weren't screaming--we didn't want to miss a word or a note. And if you think "the lads" didn't notice you'd be wrong because Paul answered my sudden head-nod during their last song with one of his own! ;p

Missing you still, John,

Bush, the comma

Ian Welsh at his Agonist Blog writes excellently on Bush's recent use of "just a comma" to describe his Iraq War and how it's part of a code to the religious right for "Never put a period where God has put a comma."

Or, for the unreligious among us, it ain't over till it's over.

Funny thing is, the original phrase came from George Burns' wife, commedienne Gracie Allen, and was adopted by the United Church of Christ in January, 2002. The UCC qualifies as a religious LEFT organization with their "God isn't finished yet" phrase co-opted by Bush speech writers. Funny/odd, isn't it?

The UCC is devoted to fighting for social justice and OPPOSES the Iraq War, so although part of Bush's "dog whistle politics" as Ian Welsh has called Bush's shout-outs to his religious right supporters, it has been something of a task this week for Bush counselor, Dan Bartlett, to defend the phrase as "a historical analysis--that these brief periods seem long and protracted now, but when you look back at them in history, they won't seem that way. He's not discounting the loss of life or the sacrifice people are making."

Seems your son's, daughter's, or spouse's deaths are just part of a very very long game for world domination. Get some global perspective, saith George, it's all good.

Noble effort, I suppose, for Mr. Bartlett, but it's a ridiculous explanation--the idea that George Bush gives a flying crap about what others have sacrificed might have been better shown by not rushing our troops into an ill-begotten war in the first place.

And, btw, neither Bush, Bartlett, nor I will be around to appreciate all the death and destruction visited upon the world by the Bush regime as a comma, a period, or a footnote. In fact, the people most closely affected by Bush's "comma" are already maimed or dead--or on their way out on a sandstorm patrol as Bush enjoys his weekend.

AND: as I've posted here and elsewhere--as have others since the neocon regime began--al-Qaeda wants Bush's "stay the course" directive to continue for their benefit as evidenced by a recently translated letter to their minions in Iraq.

Al-Q must've celebrated wildly when these jingoists couped the White House predicting what the arrogant response would be to their provocations. They set the trap to use up America's resources, and Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, and the 1% Gang stepped right in--with others making the sacrifices and paying the costs--while George and his energy baron friends reap the millions.

Or should I say billions?

George, the comma, is but a blink of God's eye just as we all must be. But is he the apple?

Harvest Moon and the White House

Tonight's Harvest Moon--the first Full Moon after the Autumnal Equinox--is occurring as the Sun is in process of conjuncting US natal Saturn (Sibly.)

Sun to Saturn: issues of seniority, authority, and maturity are highlighted, and serious situations stifle the fun when Sun conjuncts Saturn. But hard work and loyalty may earn rewards or recognition, too. Guess this could describe Bush calling Hastert to buck him up to take the buck for the Foley Flap.

(Personal example: when my father passed away, Sun was conjunct my natal Saturn--to the minute.)

Note: US natal Saturn and 9/11: Mercury was conjunct US n Saturn on the morning of the 9/11 attacks restricting ideas, communications, and information. There is a seeking or using of information and skills in order to attain seniority and status. Organizaton and preparation become huge issues. (Boy, did they.)

So with tonight's Harvest Moon chart set for the White House 11:12:47 pm edt, the Rising degree (WHAT) is 6Can31 conjunct US natal Jupiter.

Now "6Can" is the "Game birds feathering their nests" degree and I'm stirring up a cauldron of tar on the hob as I type. Actually it's the same batch I've been stirring since 1999, but never mind...let's use "7Can" for the WHAT of this Harvest Moon, so named because farmers pre-electric lights could harvest their crops after sunset...and I have a distinct feeling that White House denizens are even busier than usual tonight.

This Full Moon will be extra good at draining the color from all its light touches, so the Bush term's dingy gray White House will be all the more obvious.

"7Can": "Two nature spirits dancing under the moonlight" (Rudhyar), and Edmund Jones gives: "Two fairies on a moonlit night": ASCENDANCY...

pos: a transforming sensitivity or a healing imagination;

neg/shadow side: a senseless retreat to make-believe.

In WASHINGTON? Guffaw...Capitol Hill Theater must be in rehearsal tonight and George will be wandering the halls talking to portraits again, Laura!

Rudhyar explains "7Can" as:

keynote: The play of invisible forces in all manifestations of life (sounds kind of like, we are not alone, doesn't it? or perhaps a secret ritual just after 11 pm in the W-H dungeon...will Geronimo ride again?)

Moon's degree "13Aries": "An unexploded bomb reveals an unsuccessful social protest" (could relate to the Foley Flap.) Rudhyar's keynote: An immature evaluation of the possibility of transforming suddenly the status quo.

So perhaps Hastert Will stay in the saddle. I did find Gingrich's remarks interesting as he attempted to frame the issues--the Democrat's staging this scandal as if that's worse than Foley's actions or more heinous than the ineffectual dealing with the situation by R leaders (as they attempted the bomb safely concealed...for 3 years.)

Now it's difficult to believe a Dem or three DIDN't have something to do with the TIMING of the email/IMs unveiling (yes, Neptune at the "A man unmasked" degree) which tells me that Dems put politics over page safety, too--they ALL did. But Foley IS a REPUBLICAN, not a Democrat, as some obfuscators pretended on my teevee.

Image for tonight's Harvest Moon's personality blend:

Sun Libra/Moon Aries: A little girl and a little boy barter while playing on a see-saw. She wants his toy gun; he wants her cream cake. They decide to share.

Sounds like things will be smoothed out at this culmination stage of the lunar phase or...sex gets a saboteur into high places...?

This Libra/Aries blend has a tendency to make rash judgments which is underscored by a lack of Earth element in the chart.

12:03 pm: GROUNDED AGAIN? NPR reporting that Condi Rice's plane has "mechanical problems" and she needs more time to fly to England because of them--maybe it's leftover from all the firing her airplane has undergone. She may be skeddaling home asap once again with her forked tail between her legs.

Well if you want more info on the Harvest Moon which will be 12% larger than most previous 2006 Full Moons because she's near her perigee, go to spaceweather.com but if you want to read about moonlight's effects on vision read Strange Moonlight at NASA's site.

The White House's "vision" got us into this mess, and the Full Moon is a culmination of something begun at the New Moon--which was, as you know, a Solar Eclipse in the 8S Series: loss; separation; finishing something and being sad at its completion (as Foley should know.)

The Eclipse triggers in the Harvest Moon chart are midpoints: Mercury/Saturn (serious thinking, discussions, meetings; self-willedness; distrust; orgainizational ability; a conservative attitude; obstinacy; concentration) at 29Virgo19, and Pluto/Asc (will power; ambition; rule and control of one's environment; the utilization of psychic forces; dictatorship; striving for power; repulsive behavior) at 00Libra26.

Both these midpoints and the Solar Eclipse of Sept 22 occurred at 00Libra, a World Point so the world is paying attention to the Flap in Washington while it suffers losses of its own.

So chow for now--oh, and btw...moonlight becomes you!

wag the blue dress

God gave the savior to the German people. We have faith, deep and unshakeable faith, that he was sent to us by God to save Germany. Hermann Goering, speaking of Hitler

=
A tyrant must put on the appearance of uncommon devotion to religion. Subjects are less apprehensive of illegal treatment from a ruler whom they consider god-fearing and pious. On the other hand, they do less easily move against him, believing that he has the gods on his side: Aristotle

=
If this were a dictatorship, it would be a heck of a lot easier - just so long as I'm the dictator. George W. Bush, 18 December 2000

International law? I better call my lawyer; he didn't bring that up to me; George W. Bush, 12 December 2003 legitgov.org

SO'W...Tuesday 10.3.06: In rewatching the Chris Wallace/Bill Clinton interview from Sunday, I am struck by the same feeling I had when Clinton was president and the Lewinsky charges within the Clinton witch hunt was ongoing: that soemthing ELSE needed attention by Washington and the officials on our payroll sworn to protect the nation. She went there to latch onto the horndog--and the GOP wagged the blue dress in our faces. Thanks for that.

But that's not all we can thank the GOP for...

If "wag the dog" was behind Clinton's holding back on more military actions and assassination orders against bin L and others, then who is afraid their own culpability in muddying the presidential waters will be held up to view in 2006?

Using Ken Starr and his legal team to investigate on and on and on---just sure they'd find Something that would toss Clinton out of office so their neocon agenda could proceed without interference...was That considered more important than fighting enemies who had already attacked US interests?

Embassies, the USS Cole, army barracks, the 1993 WTC attack...no, the GOP was more concerned with "getting" Bill Clinton. Diverting him from his presidential duties at a critical time in our history was apparently deemed less important than playing diabolical politics...win-at-any-costs and NOW the true costs are piling up.

The whole Clinton deposition on tape was set up precisely BECAUSE they had the blue dress and because they knew that human nature--and Clinton's nature as a horndog (well known)--would make lying his only option...until they hit him with the blue dress and its DNA. Besides, the million dollar investigations had yet to pan out the way they thought...trying to take down a POPULAR president.

That Monica held the dress and its memories too dear for the dry cleaners has always seemed more than a little precious to me. In a word, Puh. Give me a break. Nasty, too.

Sunday...

And for after-interview talking heads on Wallace's Show and others--to bring up "Bill's temper erupted because he's worried about his legacy"--what an easy and opaque equivocation when there's nothing left to say about the charges he leveled. Play to your GOP constituents who'll believe ANYthing about the devil you've spent years setting up as if Clinton is any worse than your own side of the "aisle."

Ok, I'll hush up now about Clinton--I've been wanting to post this since Sunday morning and I feel better already. But who needs al-Qaeda when we've got Bush, Frist, and the rest opening their propaganda-catapultin' fear-mongering traps--
and hearing them, I feel nasty all over again.

shock the bubble, Foley, and Voting

Condoleeza Rice says that it "kind of doesn't ring true that you have to shock me into something I was very involved in." In Shannon, Ireland today she denied being told by George Tenet and Cofer Black on July 10, 2002, that they were very very worried about al-Qaida's determination to strike inside the U.S.

Bob Woodward is saying there is more to come out on these issues besides what's in his book, State of Denial.

Aside from Condi's extreme duh quality of what must have been quite a hastily called meeting between the three, she remains determined to strike a note of support for her man, George Bush.

There were many warnings reaching her from various sources--how many should it have taken before her bubble was pierced with understanding? Or did she/they--as conspiracy theorists believe--welcome the strike to justify their own war intentions?

Looking at the transits for July 10, 2001, it's interesting to see that the Sun was conjunct Rice's natal Moon 18 Cancer--Cancer, sign fof the mother and concerned with nourishment and security. Security. Her reigning need (Moon) is for Security, and the Sun was highlighting these issues for Condi that day. But it seems her mind was on chickens or something...

"18 Cancer": "A hen scratching the ground to find nourishment for her progeny."

Keyword: FULFILLING LIFE'S RESPONSIBILITIES (oops--kind of doesn't ring true that she was "very involved")...

Keynote: the practical concern with everyday nourishment necessary to sustain one's outreaching activities (guess her concern was with was HER activities, not bin Laden's.)

That's from Rudhyar's Sabian Symbols. The negative/shadow side from Edmund Jones:
idle bustle and unprofitable labor.

Seems to me that Rice has always been employed above her capacities or that at the least her loyalty to Bush is a blindspot to any and all common sense. The threat was so..."nebulous," she says. Naughty Nebulous Neptune, planet of veils, illusions, and deceptions...of propaganda and confusion.

Rice's natal Sun Sco/Moon Cancer: tendency to let subjective hunches replace objective reasoning; a kind of egocentric sensitivity that insists on making the world come to you.

They came, and she gave them the "brush off."

Images: A mother eagle (!) defends her babies with immense courage (wrong babies apparently--defending the Sheeple would've been better)...A mother passionately defends her delinquent child and pleads for a compassionate verdict.

Defending...Security...July 10, 2001 was a red-letter day for these issues, but a brush-off from Condi to George Tenet and Cofer Black and their worries about al-Qaida attacks on the Sheeple was her only response.

(If you've read my Chiron-Uranus Types in Government hereupon, you know the "delinquent child" is George with his adolescent mummy-poppy complexes...imho.)

Rice: No Memory of CIA Warning of Attack but I hear that rosemary is good for the memory...and there's always Gingko biloba.

Now on to the Foley pedophile email mess:

UPDATE Tuesday 6:30 pm: Despite Pressure, Hastert Won't Resign because Bush is standing by yet another of his men and it's having an effect.

Apparently more of an effect than Foley's Instant Messages pining for goodnight kisses from boys, and invitations to under-age teens to come to his Capitol Hill townhouse "for a few drinks."

Lawyers are saying now that Foley was molested when he was younger. Yeah, that gets passed on, doesn't it?

In a letter, the Christian Coalition is "standing behind" Hastert, Bush is standing by him, and as Jon Stewart might call it, there are "reach arounds" enough for all.

Such is Washington. #

Earlier post:

Ten months after the Republican leadership was apprised of Foley's tendencies, it hits the news. Is this a reverse-October Surprise to take heat off other issues and to try to manage this hot-potato scandal?

Well, Hastert and pals have been sitting on it for months--not that they haven't been dreamily wishing it could be kept quiet (guess Karl said, no)...and the safety of interns and pages be dam-ed in the meantime.

Today Hastert announced a "hotline" (unfortunate choice of word?) for pages (and interns?) to call in their own problems with Capitol Hill predators--I'm assuming they mean to out ANY DC politician who's got pedophilic leanings. Hope that doesn't result in a DELUGE (a Neptunian word) of calls and complaints.

At least when Lewinsky went to Washington, it was with the express purpose of attaching herself to Bill Clinton--which pales, imho, to this unearthing of perversions. Brings a similar scandal to mind which was better managed during Bush Sr's White house tenure, doesn't it?

Update 7:30 pm: Aghast Foley Criticizes Naughty Clinton 1998:

from legitgov.org

GOPedophiles, the lords of hypocrisy - Mark Foley on Bill Clinton in 1998: "It's more sad than anything else, to see someone with such potential throw it all down the drain because of a sexual addiction." Congress sees through party-colored glasses By Bill Adair 12 Sep 1998 For more than a week, members of Congress said they would avoid partisan politics when they got Kenneth Starr's report on President Clinton... Republicans were aghast at Clinton's behavior, with many saying it showed he had lied and abused his power. "It's vile," said Rep. Mark Foley, R-West Palm Beach. "It's more sad than anything else, to see someone with such potential throw it all down the drain because of a sexual addiction." ....Some of the strongest reaction Friday was in response to Starr's account of [Monica] Lewinsky performing oral sex on Clinton as he chatted with members of Congress on the telephone. That was "just sad," Foley said. "It's unbelievable that he could behave so carelessly in that setting." #

And so...

Neptune's ongoing triggering of the "Unmasking" degree will be lifting more disgusting rocks (Saturn) for the vermin and roaches to scatter about...which well describes the purpose of this blog--outing bwo Astrology the politicians who infest our nation and our Capitol. (Yet pedophilia was never on my SO'W agenda.)

I've been hearing for a while now that bedbugs have been making a comeback in America and they are varmints notoriously difficult to stamp out. But they can't be any harder to get rid of than the current infestation on Capitol Hill--this is the worst crop of boll weavils ever seen in our 230 years.

Makes ya itchy just thinking of Foley and the Gang.

And Mr.A.Cat has written a timely if unfortunate limerick entitled, Kitten from Foley, over at Lim's Limericks which hopefully isn't quite as bad for you as reading Foley's sorry emails. If it gives you hives, let me know.
