November elections and Sun Libra-Moon AQ

"The Democrats think Republicans are stealing elections. The Republicans think Democrats are stealing elections. And those of us independent of the two old parties know they are both right."

Kevin Zeese

"Apparently, a democracy is a place where numerous elections are held at great cost without issues and with interchangeable candidates."

Gore Vidal

"Elections are held to delude the populace into believing that they are participating in government."

Gerald F. Lieberman

Above apt quotes are provided compliments of the excellent Information Clearing House Newsletter, and details of calmer climate indications with Sun in Libra-Moon in Aquarius today are brought to you by your reluctant astrologer.

("Reluctant" would be me - I didn't want to be an astrologer, but we are said to be 'slaves' of our 10th house planets - and mine is Uranus in Gemini.)

Hey! My Uranus at 28 Can is in my 10th House too. However, I consider astrology to be a compulsive research subject and not a profession.
So according to (an)ephemeris, that means you were born in the late 1940s, sometime prior to June 10, 1949. Is this your way of releasing your natal chart? Bit by bit for the 'three sparkies' who read your blogs?

Thanks for your comment, yes you're close but my natal chart is under permanent house arrest and will not be released! ;p

Well, we know you were not born in June 1949 because you've already said you were a Capricorn. You mentioned a Saturn-Jupiter trine or something like that. Eventually, you will indeed have left enough breadcrumbs for Hansel, Gretel et al to get back to your actual natal. Why not just come out and give either/or your ASC or MC?

Perhaps in some later commentary or posting you will mention a citation for your contention that we are "slaves of our 10th House planets."

It seems like we would more likely be 'slaves' of 8th house planets.
(And their major aspects).

I do remember reading in Isabel Hickey's "Astrology, a Cosmic Science," something to the effect that "Uranus in the 10th House, when configured with the Sun," indicated that the native 'would make a good astrologer.'

If you some time later on for a citation for the 'slaves to our 10th House planets,' I would be interested in reading it. Thanks

I can tell you right now - Erin Sullivan told me that while she reading my chart.

She may have also have mentioned it in her taped series, "Uranus the Witness" in 3 parts, which I have.

It's a very good seminar if you've never heard it. She also discusses Herschel's sighting of Uranus...very interesting stuff.

You seem somehow offended by the comment. What's up? jc

Anonymous wasn't offended at all. I wouldn't be offended at being 'a slave' to my 10th house planet, also Uranus......but I wonder if the other Planets in my charts might be irked. Maybe some of them like to think that "they" are my master, and not Uranus.

Of course I am noting this in jest...10th House planets indicate 'profession,'.....but wouldn't eighth house planets be more likely to indicate lordship/bondage,compulsions, instincts that 'must be obeyed,' etc?

Or (I think there have been mentions of links to some astrologer who sees the "29th degree" of (some?)signs indicating "compulsiveness." (Slave/Master).

I am happy if Uranus wishes to claim me as my "Master," as long as (Jupiter and Saturn especially), don't object......or some of the others.

Anyway, thanks for the info, because I will look up Erin Sullivan's info.....and also thank you for all the work you do with your two blogs......it is an impressive amount of work. And I especially like the 'midpoint pictures' analyses you give.

Probably it relates to 10th house as the larger world and working for mankind - that kind of devoted 'slavery' for the common good, etc.

You're so right, 8th house slavery is different being a subconscious house with the associations you mention...more neurotic and a lot sexier, no doubt.

Astrology is not my profession either so perhaps that's why Erin's statement 'stuck' with me for its avocational implications. For years I ran away from my interest in Astrology but Erin helped me accept it.

And if the wider world insists on 'seeing' me as an astrologer I suppose I'm enough of one not to completely disagree...hence my references to being a 'reluctant astrologer.'

Thanks for noticing the boatload of work I've done between blogs...a new one was created Monday but am not certain if I'll keep it, for like a republic, it takes work, attention, and enough feistiness to keep it out of trouble. ;p
