The following question concerns a political trickster's grandstanding on behalf of the party but is not a trick question:

What do pandemic flu, 2009's stimulus package money, and political swines have in common?

Hint 1: his initials are KR.

Hint 2: they did it on purpose to undermine our current systems and tattered social fabric more completely - and to ratchet up the fear level among the unwashed masses.

Yes, I'll say it again: the power elite play for keeps.
