Will Palin prez run 2012 bring Obama's 2nd term?

Woot! As my friend American Patriot notes, if Sarah Palin runs for president in 2012, a second Obama term may be guaranteed.

Me? Not as certain because a lot can happen between now and 2012/13 including Palin's loss (or increase) of political influence. And even with Moon 1Gem26 (we-the-people) in 1st house with Jupiter 6Gem27 Rx, the Inauguration Horoscope of January 21, 2013 isn't telling much about presidential gender but it does, however, occur under the rays of the 15 North Solar Eclipse of November 13, 2012 @ 22 Scorpio, a degree with the Sabian Symbol: "Hunters Shooting Wild Ducks."

'Keynote: The socially accepted release of an individual's or a group's aggressive instincts.' This relates to "the socialization of man's primitive instincts according to a cultural ritual. Keywords: SOCIALIZATION OF INSTINCTS." (Rudhyar.)

A "cultural ritual" like a presidential inauguration? Quack!

Well, Jan 21, 2013's 1st house Inaugural Moon in early Gemini is just before completing a Lunar Return (3:21) for President Obama, and Jupiter's position shows that the Jolly One will have recently conjoined Mr. Obama's natal Moon, a time of grand desires, emotional satisfaction, and popularity - yes, popularity!

The 15N Series has a flavor of 'joy through commitment' (Brady's Predictive Astrology) so apparently whomever is victorious in the 2012 US presidential election will feel quite happy about it.

Yet a caution is that South Node 23Tau is in 1st house and rising, not an auspicious indicator and showing separations of some kind and reliance on past behaviors and talents. From the past, this degree relates to the Great Conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn of May 28, 2000 @ '23Tau' = "A Jewelry Shop Filled with Valuable Gems."

So who knows? Maybe by 2012, few will care whether Sarah Palin wants to run for prez or not. One thing everyone knows: if she does plan to run, she's got an awful lot of studyin' and learnin' and info-retainin' to do.

Wow, Jude...Very interesting!
I have Moon 23-Taurus and the first thing that came to mind...Two Women for the GOP Presidential team with all those 'Jewels and Gems'!
Not sure about Palin...but I absolutely do see Liz Cheney somewhere up there in our future. Have you done a chart on Liz? I shutter to think of another Cheney controlling America!

Hi Jude,

Governor Elect John Kasich - Ohio
more or less announced on Fox media he will be GOP primary candidate 2012

~
Governor Perry - TX as soon as election was over began a book tour - that's the 'tell' he is going to be GOP primary candidate 2012

~
George W. Bush's book, interviews, minions books, interviews, op-eds etc.... to re-write history soften the Bush-brand-image for Jeb Bush to be GOP primary candidate 2012

~
Gov. Mitt Romney - seems likely as well

and so it goes

Section 1 of Amendment 20 to the US Constitution states:

The terms of the President and Vice President shall end at noon on the 20th day of January, and the terms of Senators and Representatives at noon on the 3d day of January, of the years in which such terms would have ended if this article had not been ratified; and the terms of their successors shall then begin.

So I take it that the proper chart for the administration beginning in 2013 would be for Jan. 20, with Moon 20 Taurus with the south node in the 1st, and Saturn just below the horizon in Scorpio. An appropriate set of symbols for the people much deeper into hard times. Moon also very close and applying to square Mars in Aquarius, signaling great restiveness.

Unless Jan 20 is on Sunday! ;p

I don't see anything in the Amendment's text about Sunday. Where are you getting that info from?

Poor memory apparently! When US inaugurations were in early March i think Sunday made a difference and the date drifted accordingly. Guess Sunday doesn't matter anymore and i suspect i mixed up Inauguration 2013 with the Monday holiday effect for federal employees since MLK Day is on Sunday in 2013 - so they get Jan 21, 2013 off instead.

Doh! But thanks a bunch for catching that - will have to update post when i have more time.

Here's a site that lists Inauguration 2013 as Monday Jan 21, 2013...so maybe i'm not the only one confused! ;p

Patty, no haven't thought to look at a chart for Liz Cheney - the idea of any Cheney back in the W-H makes me shutter too. Chilling! Jude

Alex, you've got it there. But another Bush is something i can't begin to think of yet though at least Jeb doesn't sound like such an imbecile - which is not much comfort, is it? jc

Astroplethoramaman, kept looking and my memory was spurred when i found this:

"January 20th fell on Sunday, so Reagan was privately sworn in that day at the White House; public Inauguration on January 21st took place in the Capitol Rotunda, due to freezing weather; coldest Inauguration day on record, with a noon temperature of 7°F..."

That's the one i remember - that it was held publicly on Monday the 21st. Knew i hadn't completely gone round the bend - yet! jc
