Candidate Newt Gingrich under fire from big guns

Well, candidate Newt Gingrich has come under fire very early in his campaign for his remarks Sunday on Meet the Press and the fire is coming from the GOP.

Charles Krauthammer, one of the elite neocon new world order bunch, and radioman Rush Limbaugh (ditto) are leading the attack at present. Guess Mr. Gingrich was depending on an imaginary groundswell of support from the masses to quell what he must have known was little if any support from his party.

Or, he just likes being on TV.

This is not astrological but I have to say this publicly: Newt could have made some real progress,I believe, if he could have been allowed to stand by his own thoughts. He could have picked up a lot of support by allowing folks to have the Medicare and Social Security that all working/lower middle class workers rely on and from there just continued to call out the "sinners" and "others". In fact due to his public lynching by the likes of the Koch Brothers, all those of the ALEC group I am wondering if there isn't an intention to have the Democrats win again. Just sayin'

You may be correct about Gingrich, Clymela. Everyone agrees he's a deep thinker but ultimately one man (president) cannot help us against the well-coordinated, secretive bunch who are really in charge.

All the tiffs over pension grabbing, bailouts, our weakening dollar, etc are leading us to precisely where the plutonian string-pullers have planned all along. For decades Americans were made fat and lazy - now we're seeing what our apathy has allowed them to do - in Public View now, not just behind the scenes because they're feeling vastly emboldened from their recent 'victories'!

As always, Thanks for your thoughtful remarks! Jude (hope you're feeling better from your recent loss)
