Will an Arraigned Trump Continue Stirring Up Trouble?

Just a quick posting of today's Manhattan Horoscope of the Trump Arraignment as noted by yours truly via the timestamp of the moment the judge entered the courtroom and the proceedings began a moment later. As you see, at the WHAT? Point (Ascendant = The Arraignment) is 18Leo07, a very intriguing degree because it brings up The Tower Eclipse of August 11, 2018 in the 2 New North Saros Series as the legal proceedings begin:

As you know if you're following current events, Trump flew to New York yesterday and stayed overnight in his penthouse in Trump Tower. After today's court proceedings, to which he pleaded Not Guilty, he flew back to his Mar-a-Lago golf resort and will deliver a speech tonight around 8:00 pm edt. I mention his sleeping arrangements for last night because of the themes that all 2 North North Eclipses share - and admittedly, I've been waiting years for the full impact of 'The Tower Eclipse' to come to pass for Donald Trump.

2 New North themes are listed on the image and highlighted in orange (lower right next to the 2018 Eclipse Horoscope). They are: "sudden collapse of plans and/or lifestyle; change of direction with far-reaching consequences" (paraphrasing B. Brady). Dust must settle before rebuilding can begin.

Now there are other chart factors worth mentioning but my typing time is brief, yet one that must be noted is that today's Pluto @00AQ11 conjuncts the 2018 Eclipse's Mars (00AQ19 Rx) indicating that "something karmic this way comes" along with potentials for peril, and for vengeance.

And if we consider the planetary trio of Mars-Pluto-Sun (POTUS Sun @00AQ+ as in 2018 = Trump playing the role) we have conditions for 'violent measures' to be taken (see upper right corner). After all, the current 6 South Eclipse @2Scorpio opposes 2018's Uranus Rx at Midheaven which suggests radical troublemakers who stir things up against all common sense and this, in the realms of the 6 South Eclipse themes of 'being forceful, taking power' and 'huge efforts in group activities' (B.Brady). All this, with today's North Node ('NN") of destiny @4Taurus conjunct The Tower Eclipse's MC, the Goal Point.

Now I know that the judge "requested" today that Trump refrain from using language that "incites violence" but you know how he is: impulse control is not his strongest suit. We'll see how well he behaves during his speech tonight and going forward.

Several dates and events of importance pop out in the Timeline of the French Revolution concerning multiple events which may be used to set up Horoscopes through which we may study the intense era's events sparked and fought during an oppositional phase of the revolutionary, liberating, and transformative energies of the 'old order vs new order' duo of Uranus and Pluto, the duo then glaring at one another across the self-willed Leo-Aquarius axis. Naturally, a collapse of the old order is firmly implied and, given current events, it seems no coincidence that America is in process of her first-ever Pluto Return, three times all though 2022 (exact return dates dependent upon which US Horoscope is preferred, see below). We might wish to add that our 2022 'return year' is a timing device in league with society's plutonian repetition of 'The Tower Eclipse' of 2018 in the 2 New North Saros Series which occurred while the Uranus-Pluto Square was within orb (Taurus to Aquarius).

A prominent event for setting up such a revolutionary horoscope of the French Revolution is the Execution of King Louis VXI on January 21, 1793 at 10:20 LMT Paris, France (Campion's chart #108, historically accurate) with 13Ari22 rising, 5Cap42 at Midheaven with Mercury, and radical reformer Uranus Rx @22Leo31 opposed by manipulative Pluto @22AQ28. On that day of extreme violence, the old order of Monarchy collapsed into a basket as blade-wielding activist Mars @28AQ10 had opposed erratic zealot Uranus, planet of Utopian anarchy. Recently active in our era in Mars-ruled Aries, but now lurching through stubborn, often intolerant Taurus, is catalyst Uranus today @10Taurus. Transit Uranus won't reach Gemini until July 2025, the year containing what should be a US Inauguration 2025 - but dependent on overarching cosmic cycles and how the global energies are utilized.

Naturally, multiple planetary aspects influence past, current, and future events yet significantly, the time frame of the 1780s-1790s and the Uranus-Pluto opposition opens the upcoming 9-part video series Changing of the Gods, first available on February 22, 2022 ('2-22-2022': the day of the first US Pluto Return when based on America's late afternoon charts!) and for a two-week limited run, our last viewing opportunity for a while. Yet as you may imagine, the 'common good' sentiments which continue to inspire SO'W's political leanings and posts have brought many rude trumpian and other trolls to my Comments Moderation list - never to be published, of course, and always of the personal insult persuasion. Even a few astrologers through the years have taken exception and critcized my use of Astrology as a practical system for investigating profane Politics. On some level, this reminds me of starry Sirius' basic keywords, the mundane becoming sacred. Or rather, the other way around - if such reciprocation is even possible!

Meanwhile, you know that society's current Uranus-Pluto Cycle began with their three conjunctions of 1965 and 1966 from 16 to 18 degrees of Mercury-ruled Virgo (conjunct my natal Ascendant!). Subsequently, the years 2010 to 2014 brought the world an aspect that became quite famously known as the Cardinal Squares of Uranus and Pluto, a phase issuing from their 1960s conjunction/s. The Futurism of the Mercurial H.G. Wells

Is it curious that futurist author and political scientist H.G. Wells was born with Osiris Rx conjunct his natal Mercury, planet of thinking and communication, in Virgo, sign of the critic and book writer? In Astrology, Osiris, an ancient Egyptian god, is associated with concepts of death, rebirth, renewal, resusitation - basically with change and transformation. However, there's more to discover about Wells' natal 7th house Mercury such as its opposition to 'wounded healer' and 'blindspot' Chiron Rx @20Pis06 (where transit Neptune in Pisces has been hanging about of late). A Mercury-Chiron opposition suggests a man who "seeks self-transformation through acting as a promoter, popularizer or guardian of whatever truth {he} regards as being revealed especially to him" (R. Nolle). Like a best-selling book author. Plus, his Mercury also trines expansive Jupiter @22Capricorn (The Translator and linguist 'coordinating universal concepts as applied to everyday life' - A. Oken).

Now you know that "22Capricorn" is one of the more sensitive degrees in the Zodiac these days thanks to the 2020 Saturn-Pluto Conjunction, plus, his Mercury trines invisibility planet Pluto Rx @14Taurus with Pluto opposing natal Venus in Scorpio.

Naturally, a Venus-Pluto opposition suggests intense, even problematic relationships with undertones of jealousy, envy, or perhaps violence. Now in our day, transit Uranus in Taurus is in the neighborhood, catalyzing and possibly transforming his Venus-Pluto opposition of 1866 in some fanatical fashion that relates to societal breakdown as we're now experiencing - and which Wells looked forward to (see his quote from 1933, below). Note that the Venus-Pluto duo may also relate to potentials for extreme wealth secreted away, elements of organized crime, volcanic activity, and/or to genetic alterations (M. Munkasey) which reminds me of his brilliant novel The Invisible Man!

Now due to current political and societal events, the primary point of this post is to spotlight the following quote by H.G. Wells and current changes now struggling toward implementation. The quote is from his book The Shape of Things To Come (written under the influence of his 1933 viewpoint on how future wars will affect civilization, a coming "Dictatorship of Air," and an "almost Utopian" society of the future).

Now I wonder if the "dictatorship" that Wells foresaw arrived later than he predicted and was signaled by the Jupiter-Saturn Conjunction (the societal planets) of December 21, 2020 @00AQ29, an Air sign? Of course, back then transit Pluto was already in Capricorn ('the dictator' - R. Ebertin), with Herr Tr*mp lurking in the White House as the societal Conjunction announced a new order while simultaneously landing upon America's Inaugural (POTUS) Sun. This formed a midpoint picture of, "Taking destiny into one's own hands; major changes according to plan; or, if nothing has been prepared, becoming gripped by the status quo and having to make the best of things" (N. Tyl). Now we can realize that loser Tr*mp's 'Big Lie' was his plan and was already in the works. And nowadays, some legal types are suggesting that the orange menace must be feeling gripped by forebodings.

So here's H.G. Wells with a prediction, a promise - or a threat based on events up to 1933:

"When the existing governments and ruling theories of life, the decaying religious and decaying political forms of today, have sufficiently lost prestige through failure and catastrophe, then and only then will worldwide reconstruction be possible."

One World Government?

Therefore, a devilish "big plan" is what I believe the world suffers under now, a purposeful decaying (breakdown) of various systems and institutions in society signaled recently on one cosmic level by the 'collapse' and necessary 'rebuilding' heralded by the 2018 Solar Eclipse mentioned, below. "Build Back Better" indeed - in a new form, it seems. Yet you'll note that Tr*mp and his thuggish ilk (Koch, Murdoch, McConnell, global neo-naz*s, etc.) are allegedly against globalism (you may remember that Tr*mp spoke against globalism at the UN in 2019 -- and there's this). Yet I can have no trust in such assertions, or in what these craven saboteurs are actually for - other than complete authoritarian control headed by the unhinged likes of these low characters we 'know' by their public profiles. My thought is that, if their plan for global control is implemented, things may not turn out as well as they assume and 'catbird seats' of control may go to someone else entirely. After all, low characters cannot be trusted and there's no honor among thieves.

So now if you dare, dear reader, maybe check out the 1936 film (and theatrical trailer!) Things To Come based on the futuristic book by H.G. Wells, and produced in black-n-white splendor by Alexander Korda. Even if not instructive, the film is, in a word, a curiosity.

Astro-Notes on the Life and Death Solar Eclipses of H.G. Wells

Here let's add a few cosmic factors about H.G. Wells. He was born within the 12 South Saros Series via a partial eclipse @25Ari04:42 on April 15, 1866 (a pioneer!) with themes of 'successful outcomes to long-term worries or illness; things seem worse at first, then clear' (paraphrasing Brady's Predictive Astrology #ad). The last 12 South Eclipse in the 21st century manifested in July 2010 @19Cancer, and a 12 South will repeat on July 22, 2028 @30Cancer (a critical 29th degree rounded up) as noted in yesterday's SO'W post.

Then we might be tempted to consider it rather curious that the Death of H.G. Wells on August 13, 1946 fell into the 2 New North series (occurring June 29, 1946 @6Can48, partial) which in our day repeated on August 11, 2018 as The Tower Eclipse ('collapse' and 'rebuilding'). Plus, a 2 New North eclipse will repeat once again in the year 2036 - the very year the 1936 film Things To Come is set in! How's that for cosmic synchronicity? Why, it's almost as if futurist H.G. Wells studied Astrology - or, perhaps someone had an advising astrologer on the payroll.

Yeah, But What Was H.G. Really Like?

As for the Earth-Air Sun Virgo-Moon AQ personality blend of H.G. Wells, we can consult the *Harveys who provide a famous quote by the author of both science fiction and political theory, Mr. Wells, "If the world does not please you, you can change it." Well, this describes his aim, it seems. That such high-handed transformation meddles in the lives of other people seems of no consequence to social tinkerers, then and now.

So! This personality blend suggests a man of precise thinking yet unpredictable or erratic emotions, one concerned with large social issues. A scientific, detached approach to life may have been noticed as well as a gift for understatement and a quirky sense of humor. No doubt, his people-watching tendency was helpful for writing novels as was his monk-like self-sufficiency, and his attraction to politics and international planning is obvious from what we know of his life and writings. Shrewd intelligence is a given, and, in a flurry of cosmic synchronicity, his natal Phaethon @8Gemini conjunct his IC of Endings was echoed at his death in 1946 as transit Phaethon @8Gemini returned to natal degree.

Sun Conjunct South Node: Limitations On Power and Leadership Potential

Sun/South Node of the Moon contacts have karmic implications that place obstacles in the path of solar objectives due to selfishly promoting one's ambitions at the expense of others. Recognition for what has been achieved is often denied and the conjunction suggests a lack of popularity with the public, and, at best, fluctuating success.

Note that in Western Astrology, the South Node of the Moon is said to have a Saturnian separative quality while the North Node has a Jupiterian joining quality. Some systems vary from this but it's how I tend to think of the karmic Nodal axis along with destiny and future direction (NN), and past tendencies and talents (SN) which we still depend on even though they no longer solve issues in the present, aka, neuroses.

In 2018 the 'Tail of the Dragon' Swiped US POTUS Sun: Ouch!

Although the catastrophes and natural disasters of 2018 may have faded somewhat in memory due to our current problems, one remarkable and predictive fact remains: that Year 2018 opened with a Super Blue Blood Moon, a stunning Total Lunar Eclipse on January 31, 2018 @11Leo37. As auspicious cosmic events go, this lunation heralded a difficult year to say the least. At the US-Mexican border, Trump and his minions ripped children from the arms of their mothers, massive California wild fires caused loss and death (as in 2020), huge bankruptcies were filed (exs: Sears and Toys'R'Us), Trump and Putin sweetly smooched in Helsinki, Robert Mueller was busy investigating, the Kavanaugh confirmation hearing and subsequent swearing-in caused upheaval, Jeff Bezos became the wealthiest man in the world (disgruntling Trump), Manafort and Cohen put Trump in a well-deserved hot seat - and then there were the deaths of John McCain, Barbara Bush, and George H.W. Bush, among other US and world events. Oh! And in May Meghan Markle married Prince Harry.

One political bright spot for a majority of Americans in November 2018 was our 'Blue Wave' turn-out at Midterm Elections which flipped the House for the Democrats. Yet regrettably, Republicans retained control of the Senate and somehow managed to gain two seats. As you know, Mitch "grim reaper" McConnell continues in 2020 to control all proposals of progressive change which would ease the suffering of the American people. He enjoys our suffering, some say, even laughs at it. Apparently, "Moscow Mitch" is a 'let 'em eat cake' kind of guy. Well, perhaps you saw Mitch on camera with Amy McGrath having a good ole laugh when called out over the Senate going on vacation this summer instead of providing Covid relief. Charming (snark).

Running in the background of our lives, Solar Eclipses of 2018 were prominent:

In February came a 1 South Eclipse ('flooded with options' or just flooded with Neptune in watery Pisces) conjunct US natal Moon (27AQ). Then the 2 Old North Eclipse in July was a repeat of Trump's own Prenatal Eclipse Series ('PE') with its 'unfortunate news' and 'separation' themes.

Yet the significant 'cosmic blink'/'wild card' eclipse of 2018 was 2 New North 'The Tower Eclipse' of August 11, 2018 @18Leo41 ('collapse of lifestyles and plans, major rebuilding once the dust settles' - Brady). Perhaps you agree that 'The Tower' Eclipse themes remain with us today and may be attributed in large part to the Covid pandemic. Such themes and events show that new leadership is needed for such rebuilding after the destruction wrought during Trump's four years playing the POTUS role. Going forward, the Uranian saboteur has no solutions, only more crazy uncle-ness, division, chaos, rage, and destruction. And wouldn't you know? So let's close with another triggering of US POTUS Sun: In the realm of Politics there was at least one other activation of 00Aquarius, a significant conjunction because it was transit Uranus to 00AQ00 (Technology; 'global cooperation'? 'Age of Aquarius'?) on January 12, 1996 during the Bill Clinton era. So that Uranian cosmic event began America's Year 1996 with unpredicability and a few shocks, plus, Pluto's entry into Sagittarius. Now I ask you: is the Collective already in, or about to enter, the fabled 'Age of Aquarius'? If so, I must say that so far, it's not all that. Yet things could improve when we consider 2018's Blue Wave, and the fact that in 2020 we are in desperate need of a Blue Tsunami too big to rig! So please, dear reader, see what you can do about that, would ya?

Societies on the Edge as 'Cosmic Blink'/'Wild Card' Eclipses Run in the Background

As you know, not all solar eclipses bring negative themes to events but all can disrupt society and our lives in a manner similar to the erratic planet of rebellion, Uranus--even those containing positive themes. Naturally, other planetary factors are always involved as well and are part of every eclipse picture and influence. Typically we may look at historical events during the year that a particular eclipse occurs for clues about its potential influences and the change of direction that often ensues in some area of our lives.

Current Karmic Conditions of Contagion, Collapse, and Traumatic Transformation

In a previous SO'W post we discussed The Tower Solar Eclipse which perfected @18Leo41 on August 11, 2018 in the 2 New North Saros Series. By degree The Tower Eclipse of 2018 activated the August 11, 1999 'King of Alarm' Eclipse of Nostradamus fame, one of the signposts that announced the coming of the New Millennium, when the 'winds of war and strife' were set loose upon the Earth. For as you may already be aware, 2 New North themes mimic Tarot card #16 pictured, above, and involve 'complete collapse of lifestyles and plans', 'loss', and 'rebuilding starts after the dust has cleared' (Brady). Does this describe America's and the world's current condition?

For comparison, an example of a 2 New North Solar Eclipse is the one that manifested in 1964 (@17 Cancer) as the Prenatal Eclipse ('PE') of the ill-considered, deceitful, racketeering Vietnam War. Loss of lives and lifestyles in Vietnam and for the US and its alliances, plus, loss of funds from America's National Treasury are merely some of its 'collapsing' effects. But of course, war profiteers made out like the bandits they always are, no matter the costs to others.

Then for 'traumatic transformation' we have the current influences of the December 26, 2019 Solar Eclipse @4Cap06 in the 3 South Saros Series which is the one we're mired in at the moment with its effects lasting at least until (two weeks before) the next solar eclipse at Summer Solstice 2020.

So this is my fuss for this evening: that a re-consideration of The Tower Solar Eclipse of 2018 in light of current collapsing conditions seems appropriate to me, if not to you, so I'm adding the above link to my previous post in case a reader wishes to check out the August 11, 2018 Horoscope.

As for financial implications of collapse, it seems to be a given. For the initial manifestation of a 2 New North Solar Eclipse perfected on June 17, 1928 @26Gem21 with money planet Jupiter @2Tau42--a degree and planet that wild card Uranus has bumped into off and on of late which suggests a period of potentials such as: careening down an unexpected path, independent education or studying in isolation, and lifestyles and/or political affiliations being emphasized and which may be under re-consideration. Perhaps at the voting booth?

2018 Summer Solar Eclipses: Time Links to the Eclipses of 1928

Since the Prenatal Solar Eclipse (PE) of Donald Trump (born June 14, 1946) in the 2 Old North Saros Series occurred on May 30, 1946 @9Gemini (conjunct US natal Uranus--descriptive of Mr. Chaos), 2 Old North has repeated in the years 1964, 1982, and on July 1, 2000 @10Cancer among the US natal planets in Cancer (Venus, Jupiter, Sun). An eclipse in this series will manifest again on July 12, 2018 @20Can41, a critical or sensitive degree in the Zodiac. However, this post partially concerns an earlier manifestation of a 2 Old North eclipse--the one that perfected on May 19, 1928 @28Taurus among the stars of The Pleiades a constellation which also happen to contain the natal Midheaven of Mr. Trump (25Taurus) conjunct the nasty star of rage, fury, and violence Algol of Medusa's Head fame.

Now as we've discussed previously, 2 Old North themes are difficult and include 'separation, the ending of unions' (or alliances, one imagines), and 'unfortunate news regarding personal relationships although quick action can bring positive results' (paraphrasing Brady's Predictive Astrology). So Donald Trump has that goin' for him from late June into July and beyond.

But then, it so happens that another cosmic blink manifests on August 11, 2018 @18Leo41 as The Tower Eclipse with its theme of 'collapse of lifestyles or plans' and the necessary 'rebuilding' which must follow once the 'dust settles' (Brady). This is the 2 New North series repeating from its manifestation of June 17, 1928 @26Gemini--the initial--the very first eclipse in the 2 New North series. On the level of current physical events, we already know that The Tower Eclipse is the Prenatal Solar Eclipse of the 2018 Midterms and we may expect (if 'wild card' eclipses ever bring expectable results!) that any or all election losers will feel its collapse theme in similar fashion to drawing Tarot card #16.

And is it cosmic synchronicity that in 1928 Ireland's William Butler Yeats's The Tower collection of poems was published?!

Some Things We Know We Know

Now since we know that history rhymes (rather than precisely repeating) we may wish to consider historical events of 1928 especially given what's been going on in the US this year with the kidnapping and caging of children at the border by the Trump regime, a self-created fiasco that threatens to continue into 2019 and probably beyond for Trump slightly changed his tune and now intends to imprison and criminalize entire families. Yes, the arrival of waves of refugees is a crisis for any country, I agree, but Trump's ways are not my ways--and his are not traditionally those of our nation toward asylum seekers and small children. His harsh actions demonstrate the ways of a man without a conscience and having not a speck of empathy toward humanity.

Furthermore, Trump and his handmaidens are said to have no plan to ever reunite the children they separated from their grieving parents since April and, in fact, are attempting to blame anyone but themselves for their cruel decisions and craven actions. My first thoughts upon hearing of this nightmare is that it shows what lengths a man like Trump will sink to in order to score political points and grasp the money to build 'the wall' he demands--and I can't help but wonder if the kidnapped children will be auctioned off at some point to the highest bidder. Well, obviously, this idea shows how little yours truly thinks of Trump and his ilk who pretend to be better than they actually are.

Other things we know include the fact that eclipses influence history by working through individuals whose natal charts are activated by said eclipse, and the repetition of one's Prenatal Eclipse can certainly suggest a person who becomes a participant in historical events of the day especially if other conditions are ripe--such as a man playing the role of the so-called 'leader of the free world' which does not include migrant children and their parents in lock-down whether they are asylum seekers in the US or not. Such is Donald Trump with his 2 Old North PE repeating on July 12th though its influence can begin any day now--and it brings the influence of one of the dark vs light Gemini Twins along--Castor with its themes and potentials for mental illness, crippling of limbs, sudden fame or loss, and/or murder (Horary Astrology Plain and Simple, A. Louis). An eclipse perfecting upon a fixed star is a strong indicator of events manifesting in the wider world.

As for history 2018, those who are curious may wish to follow a link to a brief World History Timeline 1928--1929 for clues or comparisons of events which may rhyme once again during Summer 2018 and into 2019. Or perhaps echo is the better word for as a certain child thief psycho of earlier decades asserted, “The weak must be chiseled away. I want young men and women who can suffer pain. A young German must be as swift as a greyhound, as tough as leather, and as hard as Krupp’s steel.” And they called it the Hitler Youth Movement.

Astrologer Warns of Pluto Crossing October 31, 2018

April 1, 2018: since today is Easter Sunday (He Is Risen!), family doings are in progress here so this post is merely a quick heads-up concerning astrologer Chris Rogers' warning of an upcoming cosmic event which may, in that history-rhyming sort of way, affect finances of the masses (ex: the stock market) and potentially the power structure in Washington DC and elsewhere.

This is disturbing, I know, yet it seems to me that Pluto's Crossing tallies with the difficult 2 New North Solar Eclipse of August 11, 2018 @19Leo which on Stars Over Washington (if nowhere else!) has been termed The Tower Eclipse due to its theme of 'collapse of existing structures and lifestyles' and the necessary 'rebuilding after the dust settles' (Brady). Basically, this eclipse describes #16 'The Tower' in the Tarot deck for those who use the cards. Notably, 2 New North also manifested prior to The Crash of 1929--follow the link for a few details. Also, 2 New North is the Prenatal Solar Eclipse of the November 2018 Midterm Elections (hacked or crashed voting machines with plutonian Putin's claw prints all over the sabotage?)

Plus, astrological Pluto is also associated with underworld figures, networks, criminal cartels, mobsters and other financial crooks, plus, transnational bankers and foreign power brokers so given the Mueller investigation into the political and financial ties of Donald Trump and his dubious 'associates', major events may be expected before the end of 2018 and into early 2019. Certainly, conclusions will be reached and reports revealed which involve potentials for destruction, transformation, and/or regeneration of a plutonian nature.

Trump and Mercer and the 2018 Summer Eclipses

March 25, 2018: With communicator Mercury now retrograde, a review of videos on the topic of svengali-esque Trump-funder and social recluse Robert 'Bob' Mercer (Renaissance Technologies) and/or daughter Rebekah is actually quite easy to accomplish these days especially since the Cambridge Analytica scandal surfaced into mainstream awareness (and Mercer's funding of it, Breitbart News, Bannon, Conway, Cruz, Trump, etc.)

In one such video posted to YouTube on October 24, 2017, Seth Myers, in one of his The Check In segments, discusses Mercer and his far-right government-hating agenda, and more. Billionaire Mercer's aim is to reduce the US government to the size of a pinhead and he wants "it all to fall down" which perked up my ears since Robert Mercer's Prenatal Solar Eclipse in the 2 New North Saros Series repeats on August 11, 2018 @18Leo41 as The Tower Solar Eclipse for its themes of 'collapse of an existing structure or lifestyle' and the 'rebuilding that begins once the dust settles' (paraphrasing Brady's Predictive Astrology.)

What we can't know ahead of time is whether 'the tower that collapses' refers to the Washington establishment, Trump--his towers and administration, a Wall Street casino crash (where Mercer has worked as a hedge fund manager), the Mercer-Bannon-Trump campaign to destroy our nation, or all such possibilities during the season of influence of the 2 New North eclipse. It seems that all these potential scenarios have been set up by one group of actors or another but which one or ones will be triggered into reality by external events in the form of planetary transits and progressions? Will outcomes be determined by which event occurs first and either swoops the others along or perhaps makes any one of the possibilities moot?

Summer 2018: Eclipse Time Links May Be Activated

My previous thoughts before today have been that The Tower Solar Eclipse relates closely to financial events, in part because of certain US economic conditions brewing in recent years (exs: 2017's massive GOP tax cuts for the wealthy, and Trump's ill-considered trade wars), plus, because of two eclipse-related conditions--that Donald Trump's PE (2 Old North) repeats on July 13, 2018 @20Can41 (chart w details will soon be posted here--stay tuned) and the initial manifestation of Robert Mercer's PE (2 New North) which first manifested on June 17, 1928 @26Gemini during the run-up period prior to the Crash of 1929 (aka, 'Black Tuesday'--a noon horoscope is shown with destructive if wealthy Pluto @20Cancer where Trump's July 13, 2018 Solar Eclipse @20Can41 will 'hit' and thus will be made stronger as it activates the difficult fixed star Castor, one of the dark-light Gemini Twins with potentials for: sudden fame or loss, murder, crippling of limbs, and/or mental illness (A. Louis). Of course, Castor and his twin, Pollux, are also creative stars particularly in the form of writing so journalistic input such as publishing about the potentials just listed will surely be a factor.

Now it's true that both Summer 2018 Solar Eclipses are partial and so are not as strongly influential upon events or people as they could be. However, between them a Total Lunar Eclipse occurs and perhaps that is where most of the secrets lie--and will be revealed. Below is the DC horoscope of the Lunar eclipse of July 27, 2018 @4AQ44 (near US natal SN) with my usual messy notes penned on. The chart is packed full of details with potentials for: strong emotions (furious outbursts), challenges to authority (Trump, Mueller, Putin, or other?), rash actions, even violent measures which, if taken, will result in severe karmic consequences. As you see marked in blue is Mercury Rx, unaspected, and ruler of 7th and 10th houses. Mercury unaspected suggests someone Mercurial who's isolated and/or hyperactive (Mercurial Trump the tweeter? Don jr in hiding?) and it looks as if retaliation is upcoming (trade wars?) via asteroid Tisiphone conjunct North Node.

As you see, it's an Hour of changeable Mercury Rx with chart-ruler Jupiter in Scorpio making only one Ptolemaic applying aspect, a trine to Neptune Rx in its own sign of shady Pisces. This applying aspect denotes that tricky conditions will continue or worsen, illusions and delusions will continue to abound, disguises are worn or attempted, and/or someone benefits from a run of 'dumb luck'. What I didn't add on the chart is the typical Jupiter-Neptune speculation which implicates the stock market and the usual tendencies toward over-promises, grand gestures, bubbles, and/or get-rich-quick and other schemes. Caution is advised! This eclipse affects the 2/8 money axis which can also tag sexual, corporate, or other antics now ripe for spotlights and the revelations uncovered by the 2018 Summer Eclipses.

Now attractive Venus at Midheaven suggests that critical perspectives and more modest values may be desired yet with US natal Neptune (22Vir25) at Lunar Eclipse Midheaven, the deluded/deluding conditions mentioned above may be already in play and too ingrained for much improvement from valuable Venus (possible currency wars too?). Of course, the exalted position in the chart of Venus in Mercury-ruled Virgo, sign of the virgin, may also be pointing directly toward Trump's ongoing scandals with the ladies--or perhaps another public figure's sexy behavior or finances will become public fodder for the media (MC). Either way, legalities will ensue with Venus in 9th house and more indictments or trials may occur. We should also note that 22Virgo+ is the degree of golfer Donald Trump's natal 2nd cusp, a money house--and he does love to spend (waste) large amounts of taxpayer money on vacation get-aways.

Then cosmically speaking, there's the 'natal echo' in the chart via one of Trump's natal midpoint pictures repeated here by transit--marked in orange, upper right, and posited in 2nd house is Mars-Saturn = Pluto: rage, fury, destruction, bodily harm--and what there was no space to write--brutality, all potentials compliments of Reinhold Ebertin

The last chart factor I want to mention in the Lunar Eclipse chart is a dynamic T-Square between the challenge-prone Sun-Mars opposition and quirky Uranus in money sign Taurus (in 5th house of Speculation) which forms a midpoint picture of potentials for: premature action, rash behavior, over-taxing of strength, sudden events, new conditions, and/or military call-up as in times of war--or in times when an Oval Office occupant needs more 'soldiers' in the war he wages on whomever or whatever gets in his way. And synchronistically enough, the July 27, 2018 Lunar Eclipse @4AQ44 falls within Mr. Trump's natal 6th house of Military, Police, and Civil Service.

Wednesday January 17, 2018: by now you've heard of more money laundering accusations apparently being leveled against Donald Trump having to do with the Trump SoHo Hotel (now The Dominick) and kleptocracy Kazakhstan, plus, the fact that Trump welcomed the autocrat of Kazakhstan to the White House yesterday. Guess they had stuff to catch up on! (Or stories to get straight). Well, here's the country's foundation data for its declaration of independence from the Soviet Union in case you don't have it yet:

Is it curious that two descriptive asteroids are angular in the Kazakhstan independence chart? They are Nemesis Rx rising @29Cancer and Panacea at the critical-degreed Midheaven. Banking Jupiter (also plays The Politician) is in the 2nd house of Money and Values and traveling with asteroid Cupido which contains several archetypes within, any of which may apply: The Family (religious, criminal, or other type of large organization), Corporatism, the Criminal Underworld. Actually, the word 'mafia' comes to mind.

Interesting that all the transiting planets now in Saturn-ruled Capricorn are snugged within the chart's 6th house with the national North Node 9Cap57, Uranus 12Cap47, and Neptune 15Cap39, the 'Enlightenment Planets' shown as they were lining up for their three Great Conjunction/s in 1993 @18Capricorn: smug or strong-armed paternalism...POLITICAL POWER..."The Union Jack Flies from a British Destroyer." And with transit Pluto @18Capricorn off and on these days, the trio forms the stark midpoint picture: 'the big picture commands a certain course of action, very little option to do otherwise' (Noel Tyl).

And on this towering financial topic we then look to the upcoming Solar Eclipse due on August 11, 2018 @19Leo in the 2 New North Saros Series, the themes of which mimic the meaning of Tarot card #16, The Tower which collapses in a cloud of dust. Perhaps 2 New North eclipse energies refer to the global economic system on course for demolition and rebuilding in The Dragon's image, and/or, on another level, to Donald Trump's much touted, now weakened 'empire' of gilt and illusion. After all, some Trump buildings have been taking 'TRUMP' off their facades for a while now in vain attempts to hide past links to the man. And personally, I don't blame them. Do you?

Horoscope: Solar Eclipse of the 2018 Midterm Elections

December 23, 2017: Year 2018 soon arrives and GOP politicians and their donors are already looking ahead to the 2018 Midterm Elections scheduled for Tuesday November 6th. Of course, it's too early now to say how hacked or rigged the votes and outcomes will be but we know at least one US political party that will do everything in its power to sway results their way, if at all possible. As usual, a large voter turn-out can make cheating more difficult so hopefully such will be the case even though GOP gerrymandering will be doing what it can with a few Democratic Party tricks in the mix as well.

Obviously, many political rallies and other events will occur between today and November 6, 2018 including scandals, subpoenas, and leaks. Various conditions will change for better or worse--including the just-signed GOP-Trump 2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (with Mercury Rx!) which will have been in force for months by November 2018 and its results will affect public opinion positively or negatively. Still, let's take an early peek at the planetary influences and themes of the Prenatal Solar Eclipse and its Saros Series (2 New North) in which General Election 2018 falls. You may wish to follow the link, above, for details on which states and seats are in play, plus, other details as they are currently known.

2 New North has a disturbing nickname, The Tower Eclipse, and its themes relate closely to the #16 card in the Tarot deck. Anyone familiar with this card already knows what I'm about to type. If not, simply enlarge the chart and read its themes, upper right: 'sudden collapse of plans or lifestyles, confusion reigns but after the dust settles, rebuilding begins and has far-reaching effects ' (paraphrasing Brady's Predictive Astrology). For karmic progress, Solar Eclipses in Leo demand avoidance of such negative Leonine traits as ego, pride, and pomposity (Lineman) and this eclipse degree (18Leo) conjoins that of the 1 North Solar Eclipse of August 11, 1999--the 'Nostradamus Eclipse', or, King of Alarm Eclipse with its Fixed Grand Cross (mid-degrees of Fixed signs). Here, Jupiter @14Sco48 activates the Eagle Point, the Point of Regeneration, very near the position of Mars in 1999, as mentioned in the Book of Revelation and symbolizing when the Winds of War and Strife were set loose:

With the current crop of infiltrators working hard to hollow out America's halls of power and considering foreign interference in our business, I'd not care to express my deepest thoughts on this topic at the moment although I'm certain you have ideas of your own, dear reader.

A New Millennium No Longer New

Now as you know, in 1999 and into the New Millennium, it was George W. Bush playing the role of the 'king' (POTUS) of America. But in 2017+ it's you-know-who, born with royal Regulus, the 'king' or 'king-maker', rising along with his thin-skinned, confrontational Mars in Leo. However, like all royal stars, Regulus contains a serious caution: success if revenge is avoided. Now who can say that Donald Trump isn't a champ at revenge and retaliation? Yet if this cosmic caution is neglected or ignored, all that has been gained will be taken away.

Quirky Is as Quirky Does Especially When Angular

So as you see in the chart, disruptive Uranus @2Tau33 Rx has just crossed Midheaven, the Goal Point, which denotes 'reforms and changes of direction in career and matters of public status'. Now I won't add my own intuition that Democrats may take back enough seats in Congress to change the balance of power on Capitol Hill, or at least to toss a wrench into Trump's and the Republican agenda, but it's something to ponder and work toward, isn't it?

After all, maverick planet and anarchistic zealot when in Aries, Uranus, suggests that 'premature actions lead to failure' when the 'Sky God' is in Taurus. Plus, Uranus is Mr. Trump's guiding planet due to its oriental condition in his natal chart (10th house) and seems to inspire the chatty tweets (Uranus in Gemini) of his very thoughts directly at the public, however unvetted, untrue, odd, duplicitous, and/or disruptive they may be.

Well, there are many more chart factors in the above horoscope worth discussing and my aim is that you may do so 'amongst yourselves' for there are children about the place here, gifts to open, and a holiday to celebrate so I'll mosey along for now and check back with you later.

'The Tower' Eclipse of August 2018 w Pluto Unaspected

For the curious, here is a marked-up image of 'The Tower' Solar Eclipse of August 11, 2018 @18Leo41; chart set for Washington DC:

Perfection occurs at 5:57:39 am edt during a Moon Hour (fluctuations, changes, instability) with Mercury Rx @14Leo41 rising as oriental planet (rising last before the Sun) which suggests an emphasis or focus on details such as dotting Is and crossing Ts.

Quite a bit of information is smooshed upon the chart and may be readable if the image is enlarged. Included is the theme of this eclipse in the 2 New North Saros Series: 'collapse of an existing structure; confusions reigns; long-term rebuilding after the dust settles; far-reaching effects; new directions' (Predictive Astrology, B. Brady). The initial 2NN eclipse manifested on June 17, 1928 @26Gem21 with Jupiter @2Tau42 so this chart's Uranus @2Tau33 Rx performs a belated transit to 1928 Jupiter (in the eclipse's lead up to the Great Depression) indicating support for the eclipse theme of 'new directions' along with expansion in such areas as political and/or religious affiliations, freedom and independence issues, and intellectual growth.

As for the rising Solar Eclipse itself, obviously it keys the King of Alarm (or, Terror) Solar Eclipse by degree for that particular August 11, 1999 Solar Eclipse manifested in the 1 North Saros Series as The Mother of All Eclipses--just as did The Great American Eclipse of August 21, 2017 @29Leo (conjunct Mr. Trump's natal Ascendant). Typically, a process is described here for 1 North naturally leads to 1 South, and so on...here we see 2 New North in all its formidable cosmic splendor and not-so-subtly pointing toward the August 1999 Solar Eclipse (of the Book of Revelation and Nostradamus fame) with its Fixed Grand Cross in the mid-degrees of the Fixed signs, Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, and Aquarius: 'Points' of the Oxen, Lion, Eagle, and Angel--described as the angels letting go the winds of war. And imho, they certainly did.

So what to expect from the August 2018 Solar Eclipse? Well, chart-ruler Sun makes no applying Ptolemaic aspects to give us hints of what's to come--unless we wish to count as a major aspect a quincunx to powerful Pluto in the Military-Police-Civil Service sector, the 6th house, suggesting those who take on responsibilities that they end up resenting. Obsessed with gaining the approval of others, a Sun-Pluto inconjunct hints at tense conflicts with others (The Generals/6th house?) and a preoccupation with power and position. Wonder who this describes?

And while we're on the topic of Pluto and obscure aspects not readily seen, there's a 'hidden square' (255/56 degrees) between creepy wealth-hoarder Pluto and values-oriented Venus, also a planet of perspective, alliance, and diplomacy. This background influence suggests the patronizing of others and conflicts in relationships (probably over currency evaluation and/or finances in general) and it's a curious one since Pluto is officially 'unaspected' in the chart, a condition which denotes isolationists, those 'overshadowed by shadows', and off-on spurts of overwhelming, compulsive desire (for total control, it seems, with Pluto in Saturn-ruled Capricorn). Always a loner, unaspected Pluto is so self-contained that astrological Pluto's important regenerative qualities are prevented or withheld from aiding the other planets (actors; forces) in the chart making objective analysis impossible and the spiraling plutonic darkness ever darker.

Also note that the military-and-weapons-infused Mars-North Node pair point toward MC and disruptive Uranus denoting interrupted meetings, upsets in a community or an organization, or possibly cooperative teamwork. Another midpoint picture stands out and is penned on the chart, lower right: Mars-Uranus = Neptune which hints at potentials for cunning, deceit, mean behavior, rage, and/or accidents and injuries (Ebertin; Munkasey). And of course, the Mars-Uranus duo when combined is a weapons-guns-sharp-instrument significator as well.

That these factors and the August 11, 2018 Solar Eclipse relate to such forces in the US as the 'Deep State', America's hidden or invisible government (a natal Neptune-Saturn signature at our nation's founding), and the Plutocracy that has overtaken our Republic, I have no doubt. For the oppression, racism, and other mankind-stomping programs, plans, and -isms of the Pluto-Chiron pair continue to bedevil us with renewed vigor since the Pluto-Chiron cycle began in November 1999--conjunct US natal Ascendant @12Sagittarius:

"A Flag That Turns into an Eagle That Crows," a degree and symbol that have brought our country much in the way of its negative (unconscious/shadow side) expression of idle prejudices and unsubstantiated claims. Jones analyses of the karmic confrontation degree and the actual degree of the August 2018 Solar Eclipse (the position in the Zodiac where the 'cosmic blink' occurs--again!) along with each degree's Illumination Point which is opposite and unconscious:

Well, such as it is, there's my preliminary analysis of the 2 New North Solar Eclipse of August 11, 2018 and its potential influence upon our nation's capital and people. Of course, many other chart factors will affect conditions then and presently unknown events will occur so perhaps we shall discuss such cosmic topics more fully as the hour of solar-lunar perfection draws near and this particular 'wild card of the Universe' manifests in royal Leo, sign of ego, pride, vainglory, and leadership.

Horoscope: The Vietnam War August 4, 1964

September 17, 2017: In a 10-part, 18-hour documentary, the Vietnam War receives the Ken Burns and Lynn Novick treatment beginning tonight on PBS. Below is the horoscope for the start of the Vietnam War set for the alleged assault (pretext) of the second Gulf of Tonkin incident. The resolution giving President Johnson authority for use of force was voted on in Congress and passed the House by a vote of 416 - 0 and the Senate 88 - 2.

The two senators who voted against the Gulf of Tonkin Resolution were Wayne Morse and Alaska's Ernest Groenig. "When the resolution passed, Morse declared that Congress had surrendered its authority, and therefore the authority of the people it was elected to serve. Morse also deplored the open-ended nature of the approval and condemned Congress for giving the President and the military a “blank check” which would be cashed with taxpayer’s money and citizens’ lives."

So here is the Vietnam War horoscope set for August 4, 1964 at 21:30 -7:00 (9:30 pm USZ6 -7:00) at Vinh, Vietnam, the naval base from which the alleged assault on a US ship was launched. When North Vietnamese troops entered Saigon, capital of South Vietnam, on April 30, 1975, the Vietnam War came to an end. On that date, Venus @19Gemini27 was unaspected, a 'wallflower' condition for the usually sociable Venus. This condition of Venus suggests unusual perspectives, sporadic or unrestrained expressions, and an obsessive single-mindedness. Another April 30, 1975 cosmic condition of interest is karmic Saturn @13Can54 conjunct US natal Sun (POTUS = Nixon). This repressive transit indicates a time of disappointment, discouragement, and resentment toward limitations, rules, and regulations. It marks a period when past mistakes must be corrected so that moving forward is possible, aka, making karmic progress.

Tragically, through subsequent wars and their flimsy pretexts, Congress' continued negligence of its war-declaration duties and shady money management, Pentagon and CIA shadow activities, fear-mongering propaganda against We The People, and Washington's obvious plundering and global conquest obsessions, we see that 'the powers that think they be' (Max Igan's phrase) continue their Ivory Tower existences while perverting the course of our nation as 'global cop' and lining their pockets via several means including the racket that is war.

2 New North: Collapse of 'The Tower'

One more prominent chart factor to note is the Prenatal Solar Eclipse (PE) series under which this particular hell of war was unleashed, the 2 New North, which manifested @17Cancer27 (4th house) on July 9, 1964. Themes of 2 New North, also called 'The Tower' (see Tarot card #16) are: changes of direction, sudden collapse of plans, lifestyles, and/or an existing structure; confusion reigns but after the dust settles, reshaping and rebuilding have far-reaching effects (Predictive Astrology, B.Brady).

Also note that unaspected Jupiter is apex planet of a midpoint picture--the karmic Sun-Saturn pair = Jupiter: break-up of a value system (Tyl), plus, Jupiter @23Tau28 conjoins the difficult cluster in Perseus, Capulus ('the sword hand of Perseus'- Devore), star of intense male energy, blindness, turbulence, ruthlessness, penetrating action (Brady's Fixed Stars). Capulus is partner to the intense feminine star, Algol.

The last occurrence of 2 New North was @8Leo on July 31, 2000 (not quite 9/11's PE, but obviously still of influence). The next occurrence is @19Leo on August 11, 2018; 19Leo is a sensitized degree from the King of Alarm Solar Eclipse of August 11, 1999, aka, the 'Nostradamus Eclipse' with its mid-degreed Fixed Grand Cross as described in the Scriptures' Book of Revelation. And on 9/11/01, transiting Venus activated the 19Leo degree and thus 1999's King of Alarm Eclipse.

Eclipses of a Gilded Trump Tower

Perhaps you're a bit curious about Trump Tower. Construction began in 1979, a year of two solar eclipses: 1. Feb 26, 1979 @7Pisces in the 17 South Saros Series--'sudden success with group projects and/or relationships', and 2.August 22, 1979 @29Leo in the 18 North Series--'high stress level, a taxing of strength, large expenditures of effort, accidents or illness' (there were accidents and deaths during construction, if memory serves--it has 58 stories though the top floor is numbered '68'). As I type (June 11, 2017), note that we're currently under the influence of a 19 South Solar Eclipse which manifested on February 26, 2017 @8Pisces.

You'll also note that the 18 North eclipse @29Leo is at the same degree as the Total Great American Eclipse of August 21, 2017 we're all waiting to view which suggests resonance on a Leonine level (cautions against pride, vainglory, egotism, pomposity, bragging, 'showboating'), plus, a 29th degree suggests impatience of some sort--and conjoins the natal Ascendant of Donald Trump (29Leo) and royal Regulus (caution: success if revenge is avoided--otherwise, all gains will be taken away).

Now the PE of Trump Tower, which opened on November 30, 1983 (with a gilded flourish, no doubt) is the 3 North Series which manifested on June 11, 1983 @20Gemini (conjunct Mr. Trump's natal North Node (20Gem48) and snugged betwixt his natal Uranus (17Gem53) and natal Sun (22Gem55) in his 10th house of Public Status and Career. Plus, America's natal Mars 22Gemini is tucked in there somewhere.

3 North themes are of an 'over-excessive' series, news that transforms a situation and causes worry and obsession, undertaking large plans that work out successfully as long as one doesn't get carried away' (paraphrasing Predictive Astrology, B.
