During an Hour of Jupiter, this Full Moon's perfection occurs at 8:05:32 am edt with Sun @14Ari24 in 12th house of such things as the Unconscious, Politics, Karma, Back Room Deals, and Large Institutions such as hospitals and zoos. We might suspect the halls of the US Congress to be located here as well. A 6th house Full Moon reflects fulfillment, culmination, awareness, and/or relationship issues concerning 6th house matters such as Health, our Daily Rounds and Schedules, Military, Police, and other types of Service--perhaps even the Secret Service which protects the president but has been on the hot seat of slackness and scandal of late. Another personnel shake-up plus a system review may be spotlighted by the light of this Full Moon for they certainly seem due.

Note that there are six 'super moons' (as termed by Richard Nolle) in 2015 with the super moon of September 28th a Lunar Eclipse at 5 Aries.

And with the April 4th Full Moon conjoining US natal Saturn (14Lib48) we may expect the fulfillment-culmination-awareness-relationship emphasis to fall upon lawmakers in Congress, the Justice System, and other institutions of a legal nature with themes of authority, responsibility, seniority, maturity, accountability, and the status quo. Of course, with karmic Saturn's tendency toward reaping what was sown, some element of loss may enter the picture as well. Plus, as with all eclipses, secrets may come to light. And with the Venus-Mars midpoint rising, the revelations could be from the realms of diplomacy, romantic liasons, or marital affairs.

Now a strong first house Venus @21Tau36 (in Taurus, one of its two signs of rulership) is chart-ruler yet makes no applying Ptolemaic aspects in the chart which casts our focus upon the planet's house and sign position since there is no mitigating input or interference from other planets (actors). A hint of dissatisfaction and inconstancy may be attached to 'lady' Venus in money-loving Taurus (sign of The Bull) who was anciently known as a goddess and called by many names all the way back to Babylon and Nimrod's wife, Semiramis.

(I mention what may seem to be an off-topic subject because the Utopian path America has been plopped upon toward the implementation of global government is never far away from my frets on this website and elsewhere--and it grumps me up every time I think about the criminality and cruelty of their plans. For those with eyes to see, the WTC attacks of 9.11.01 were a major signpost on the global government road and a symbol for the demolition of the old Tower of Babel morphed into the new ('World' Trade Center). and of course, the Tower of Babel was humankind's first-ever corporation--now global corporatists are constructing a new order 'built upon ruins' of the old via secret trade pacts such as the TPP which make sovereignty of nations a thing of the past and a clean environment an antiquated idea.)

So Venus is chart-ruler and also rules the Full Moon in Libra, sign of the Scales of Justice and of balance and fairness. In addition, Venus rules or disposits the 12th house Mars and their midpoint conjoins the Ascendant which gives a flavor of diplomacy to the the Full Moon horoscope (set for Washington DC) and to the highlighted events that occur on or around April 4, 2015 until at least the next New Moon on April 18, 2015 in late Aries; romance is also in the spotlight.

A prominent chart factor is the Cardinal T-Square formed by the Sun-Moon opposition which points toward the 9th house Pluto @15Cap30. As you know, the 9th house relates to Foreign Lands and Foreigners, Philosophy, Religion, Legalities, Higher Education, and the Higher Mind. The apex planet of a T-Square can direct the energies of the T-Square and impact the tone of the entire chart and when in Cardinal signs, here-and-now goals are emphasized. And since Pluto tends to work at subliminal levels and Venus makes no applying aspects, Pluto calls the Full Moon tune with radical Uranus near the Sun (leadership) adding disruptive sparks from behind the scenes.

This planetary pattern with Pluto apex may denote poor planning as a vulnerability yet sudden changes will occur, planned or not.

Perhaps it's only a side note but Senator Elizabeth Warren was born with a Sun-Uranus conjunction of originality and genius and this conjunction in Aries in the Full Moon chart is in the 12th house of Politics.

Now when wealthy, sneaky Pluto is apex planet in a Cardinal T-Square pattern a person or group is identified as ruthless, manipulative, and extremely willful toward goals with a one-track-minded deviousness. Here is a high powered executive who acts with a chip-on-shoulder attitude and no one is supposed to stand in his (her, their) way. Obviously with saboteur Pluto, even assassination is on the table for it's 'success at any cost'. Note that Pluto on its own (even without Jupiter, Sun, or Chiron) can signify plutocrats, oligarchs, titans, popes, and propagandists using Psychology; drug use and mind control are also in creepy Pluto's realm of oppression and manipulation.

And naturally for Pluto in 9th house you've thought of ISIS/ISIL and other opponents of the West, haven't you? Sabotage, violence, kidnapping, assassination, mysterious power and stolen wealth certainly apply.

Plus, if we substituted US natal Saturn for the Moon in a midpoint picture (Sun-Moon = Pluto) we get Moon-US Saturn = Pluto and someone being pressured to change their entire value system. POTUS perhaps? Giving back his Nobel Peace Prize seems more and more appropriate yet this picture may also relate to the US Congress Via Capitol Hill legislation and/or US recent indictments for receiving 'gifts' (bribes). As you know, Saturn demands accountability and the shouldering of responsibilities and duties, things that Congress most often receives low marks for these days.

However, there is a mitigating factor and that is the Thales planet of the Sun-Moon opposition--Jupiter Rx @12Leo37 which sextiles the Moon (the 'ray of hope' aspect--Oken) and trines the Sun creating a beneficial condition and opportunity for improvement, perhaps instigated by President Obama since Jupiter conjoins his natal Sun--but then there's the 12-year cycle because...

Jupiter the General, Politician, Banker, Professor, and Guru conjoins again President Obama's natal Sun @12Leo denoting that something begun about 12 years ago must be ramped up or discontinued all together. This has been discussed on SO'W in previous posts so I'll not bore you again for obviously wars we've waged in the Middle East are implicated by this Jupiterian transit to the natal Sun of America's commander-in-chief which now continues as neocons once again spread their war-profiteering slogans across American airwaves and beat their drums of war on behalf of the *Zionists who now rule the State of Israel. Is the Pentagon following Bill Kristol, Dick Cheney, and the others--again? From whence plutonian pressure comes.

Another thing about optimistic Jupiter is that the planet's Direct Station occurs on April 8, 2015 (conjunct the president's natal Sun @12Leo35, as noted--we see how war and war costs in the Middle East are now and will be increased), and in early July, transit Jupiter passes its shadow (Rx) degree (22Leo37) and moves on toward Virgo as political, social-societal, religious, exploratory, scientific, and financial plans and investments proceed however they may.

Mercury in the Month of May: Thinking of Politics, Praying for Young Girls

Today as speedy Mercury reaches 00Gem00 and conjoins and highlights Fixed Star Alcyone (something to cry about; the Weeping Sisters of the Pleiades) we may be tempted to direct our minds (Mercury) toward the difficult themes of and events concurrent with the Solar Eclipse of May 20, 2012 which manifested, of course, at a Zodiacal degree sensitized by the position of Alcyone. You'll remember that 2012 was quite an active year in Washington DC but not so much for getting things done as for implementing plans to get little if anything done other than to undermine Democrats.

May 9 2013 Solar Eclipse themes and offerings

Thursday May 9, 2013, a Solar Eclipse in the 15 South Saros Series

As previously covered (horoscope shown), the money sign of Taurus, with its dark side of greed, stubbornness, and intolerance, hosts a Solar Eclipse this Thursday (May 9th, or 10th, depending on your location/time zone) @19Tau31. That's Taurus the Bull, of course, which brings in Wall Street implications along with the political.

The 15S last manifested in 1995 during the presidency of Bill Clinton and happens to be the Pre-Natal Eclipse Series of former president and Founding Father, Thomas Jefferson, so its themes affected his life at various times--about every 19 years. You may remember 1995 and 1996 as when the Republicans caused a government shutdown as they're threatening to do again in 2013. The GOP's theatrical 'Contract with America' was part of the mayhem as well, after which Republican candidates lost mightily in elections (as they should have--my vote was part of the reason they lost, the borry sastards!)

15S themes: 'release of tension as a lingering situation suddenly clears but with a sense of loss or grief that's more collective or group-related than personal' (paraphrasing Brady's Predictive Astrology.)

Curiously, the Harveys give an apt Image for Integration in Sun Sign-Moon Sign for the Eclipse's earthy Sun Tau-Moon Tau blend: "A loving teacher resolves an angry dispute." The purposefully induced turmoil in our plutocrat-controlled Congress perhaps? Pshaw! Yet resolution is just what I'd love to see for a change, wouldn't you? And progress rather than fighting the same old battles would be nice, too.

Well, it will be interesting to watch Politics for which of our many situations suddenly clears by or before November and whose tension is suddenly released!

December 2012: Seeds in the Soil, Fire on The Hill?

Around here a New Moon @21Sag45 which perfects on Wednesday December 13, 2012 at 3:41 am est spotlights new beginnings and a seeding of something that will culminate or fulfill its promise at the Full Moon of December 28, 2012--just around the time that the over-dramatizing politicians of Washington DC should be getting their 'fiscal cliff' act together. Plus, with the overly extended Bush tax cuts from 2001 set to expire at 12:00 am est on January 1, 2013, the clock, as they like to say, is tick-tocking while stock markets crouch in wait.

For as you must have heard, IMF chief Christine LaGarde has cautioned Washington politicians over the 'fiscal cliff' anxiety which global markets will react to negatively if our barely functioning functionaries continue their inaction and/or put overly austere measures in place.

So if our representatives in Washington get this wrong, we'll know precisely who on Capitol Hill wants the American people and the US economy to fall back into a recession.

Then may I suggest ahead of their perfidy that if Tea Party members of Congress must be tossed over a cliff in order to get anything fiscally constructive done before the end of 2012 and beyond, I'll gladly volunteer to help with the pooshing if you will, Dear Reader! And let's include a decided ixnay on the Republicans' threatened debt ceiling stalemate, too--especially since we've seen that particular politicized matinee performance in 2011 and it really stank up the place.

No, all their financial and other dramas don't make me feel that my government is broken. But it does make me feel that those Reconstructionists who treasonously interfere with the people's business and have no intention of actually governing because they have only partisan and/or utopian ideological goals in mind are not working for the common good of our nation and should leave town before the sheriff rides in.

Now if only a sheriff were coming!

Neptune Direct Station Conjoins US Pre-Natal Eclipse Series 00Pis33

With today's Neptune Direct Station @00Pis21 and "1 Pisces" having "A Public Market" Sabian Symbol, I want to mention once again America's Pre-Natal Eclipse Saros Series, the 12 South, with its theme of: 'successful outcomes to long-term worries or illness; things seem worse at first then clear' (paraphrasing Brady's Predictive Astrology.)

A Solar Eclipse in the 12S last manifested on July 11, 2010 and you may remember that the BP Deepwater Horizon blowout had occurred in the Gulf of Mexico and under the influence of 12S, a 'cap' was finally installed successfully to stop the millions of gallons of oil releasing into the waters. The compromised well has leaked of late but that's beyond the scope of this brief post on oceanic Neptune, King of the Seas.

Neptune's Direct Station occurred at 2:52:36 am est while many of us were sleeping which is appropriate for the nebulous planet of the Unconscious, sleep and sleep aids. Note: if by now you haven't caught and released that giant green moth flying around you bedroom, please do so! Unless you're on the East Coast and are made homeless by Hurricane Sandy, that is. Then Neptune's rulership of water and flooding is all too real for comfort with your pillows and beds washed out to sea.

And the Winner Is...Barack Obama

To add more of an unconscious flavor to Neptune's Direct Station today, mindful Mercury Rx forms an applying square (blockages; obstacles) aspect with Neptune which provides the Collective Unconscious with difficulties in seeing things clearly just when we need to as 2012 ends. In Washington, we find many bubble-living Republicans who are having more problems than usual ignoring realities they don't like. But facing truth--not one of Neptune's talents yet a Direct Neptune tends to be more honest--is an imperative now and political progress of the GOP will be limited until they do. Yet as in Summer 2011, they may decide to take America down with them as they go, kamikaze-style.

As for reality-based Saturn @4Sco22 in 2nd house in the Neptune Direct Station horoscope set for Washingotn DC, Mr. Lesson-Bringer and Neptune are in the trine stage of their approximately 33-year cycle. They last met in Great Conjunction/s in 1989 three times: March 3, June 24, and November 13 in the 10 to 12 degree range of Capricorn. As you know, these degrees of Capricorn are within orb now of transiting Pluto so we have a midpoint picture to consider for a snapshot of these energies when combined and which time links 1989 with 2012/13:

1989 Saturn-Neptune = 2012/13 Pluto: difficult growth or development; heavy emotional depression (Ebertin); feeling downtrodden; tremendous awareness of loss potential (Tyl.)

Actually, you may wish to review a list of major events which occurred in 1989 such as the Exxon Valdez tanker running aground--a deja-vu in 2010 and mentioned during the BP Deepwater Horizon fiasco that killed eleven workers, if memory serves.

Gemini New Moon conj US natal Mars June 12, 2010

Yes, I'd like to compose an article on the June 12, 2010 New Moon 21Gem which conjoins America's natal Mars, planet of war, strife, quarrels, and action but tomorrow's Great Conjunction of Jupiter and Uranus at Aries Point has fortunately rescued you from the trial!

How can this be through time and space, from me not to you? What beneficial interference could occasion such welcomed relief for a hapless, innocent blog reader such as yourself?

Well, you may wish to thank my friend Depali Desai whose 'New Moon in Gemini' article on her excellent Celestial Space Astrology blog is just in time for June 12 and for nurturing the new seeds of intention you'll hope take root then!

Dipali also writes of the writer's planet, Mercury, and the wing'd messenger's traversal of its own sign, Gemini, so check in with Celestial Space Astrology for more details.

Yet this is a Mundane Astrology blog of sorts attempting to take quick peeks under the hood of Politics so perhaps it would be remiss not to type the transiting midpoint picture potentials for you of June 12's New Moon conjunct the testy, contentious, testosterone-pumped Mars of the USA...

New Moon = n Mars: an urge to bring ideals and wishes to fruition; the realization of joint ventures; energy helping or upsetting relationships; anger; addressing problems; servile awareness in partnership; the drive for fulfillment; becoming more self-reliant; pushing others toward quicker progress (BP? jc); imposing one's will on others; a focus on strength; marriage. (Tyl; Ebertin; Munkasey.)

A note on that last one which relates to the US (Mars) yet dovetails with the Jan 15, 2010 Solar Eclipse 25Cap01 which suggests an important *ceremony or wedding occurring, perhaps a royal one - Princess Victoria of Sweden will be enjoying her royal wedding bash before the end of June - just before the end of the current Eclipse season (with the next Solar Eclipse occurring July 11, 2010 @ 19Can24.)

Thankfully, Sweden's royal wedding will not be held on June 26 when a marriage would have to begin under the rays of a Lunar Eclipse conjunct Pluto which doesn't sound auspicious for beginning new lives together to me.

Fortunately, the royal ceremony is set for June 19, the day when, for about 6 hours, Jupiter and Uranus will make a lovely parallel to one another, a kind of 'sealing the deal' of their Great Conjunction of June 8, 2010 at a World Point 00Ari18!

Plus, maybe the Lunar Eclipse chart set for their wedding's location makes beneficial aspects to the horoscopes of the bride and groom. And yet, as with all Lunar Eclipses, dark secrets are yet to be revealed!
