A Morgue's Secrets Leak & Pluto/Chiron's Plutocracy

Glenn Greenwald says that classified secrets have been leaked describing the tiresomely devious 'take bodies from the morgue and spread 'em around to finger the Americans' ploy.

Not certain I buy it but I'll keep my mind slightly creaked open for now. Of course, the well-timed leak could be reverse propaganda, kind of like Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker being advised to hire a thug to accost or otherwise assault him (even better - with firearms) in order to make the workers' side come off more negatively in Wisconsin. Walker may not have seriously considered using a thug to harm him as if his political opponents (supposedly his constituents but he only wants to 'govern' the rich, it seems) had done so, but we see an alleged glimpse into how their minds work.

It takes the GOP and their backers in the global crime syndicate to think up an outrageous plan such as that.

Of course, some Republican backers also back various Democrats. That qualifies as a clue to the fact that what we now experience is long-running class warfare of the haves v the have-nots. That many Americans in the last decades have fallen willingly into a fluffy (Jupiter-Neptune) dream that prosperity was to be theirs for the duration (if they worked hard or had a brilliant idea or creation suitable for marketing) and that their children would do better in the world than they'd done, is not surprising really.

Because many forces and certain disciplines and intellects have been focused like lasers on just such a dreamy influence succeeding in manipulating the American public (and others) ever since Psychology was invented.

Okay, enough babbling. Let me know what you think about such topics if you have a mo and feel impelled, and I shall attempt to reply or add a remark if I have a mo, too.

Pluto/Chiron = plutocracy; disenfranchisement; primal violence; racism; agism, socialism/communism/bolshvikism, refugeeism and other -isms -- well, you get the exploitative picture. (That's wounded/wounding Chiron with Pluto of the morgue-ish realm. Sounds even worse when it's put like that.)

Assange, Manning, California austerity, and bad Republicans

Breaking News Dec 16, 2010 11:10 am est: Looks like Julian Assange is about to be 'freed' on bail (with conditions) in London, according to Amy Goodman's broadcast on Democracy Now! The possibility is ongoing as I type. 11:19 am: looks like he's a fairly free bird with an ankle bracelet!

Meanwhile, in California, Alex D'Atria has taken a look at new Governor Jerry Brown's austerity budget including an article round-up on California's condition, and American Patriot ponders the enduring legacy of George W. Bush and the threat to our nation posed by the Republican Party.

Two articles follow, one by Salon's Glenn Greenwald, concerning leaker Bradley Manning and the draconian conditions under which he has been kept for seven months, plus, John Pilger writes on a deeper meaning to the WikiLeaks phenomenon:

The Inhumane Conditions of Bradley Manning's Detention

By Glenn Greenwald

Bradley Manning, the 22-year-old U.S. Army Private accused of leaking classified documents to WikiLeaks, has been detained at the U.S. Marine brig in Quantico, Virginia for five months -- and for two months before that in a military jail in Kuwait -- under conditions that constitute cruel and inhumane treatment and, by the standards of many nations, even torture.

John Pilger: Global Support for WikiLeaks is "Rebellion" Against U.S. Militarism, Secrecy

Democracy Now!

Pilger's latest film, The War You Don't See, includes interviews with Assange. Pilger says that WikiLeaks is revolutionizing journalism and galvanizing public opinion to stand up to global elites.

##

Well, I'm all for standing up to global elites and I think we now know (if there was ever any doubt) whose side they're on (hint: it isn't yours or mine.)

As to the Obama-GOP tax cut extension, it makes the rich richer and the poor poorer and I hope at least a few Washington politicians have the grace to be ashamed.

The rapidity of our decline

Here are good examples of how the much-touted 'globalism' is treating America:

Collapsing Empire Watch

By Glenn Greenwald

It's easy to say and easy to document, but quite difficult to really internalize, that the United States is in the process of imperial collapse. Every now and then, however, one encounters certain facts which compellingly and viscerally highlight how real that is.

~:~

As you may agree, the term 'globalism' is just a fancy word for the New World Order, a movement that really ramped up under the presidency of Bill Clinton after being handed off from Bush Sr. 'It' saw the light at the end of the tunnel with the approach of the New Millennium, and America's collapse, similar to that of Japan's economic crash and Russia's total collapse of the 1990s, is an integral part of the process toward world government.

I refer, of course, to the three Great Conjunctions of the Illumination (Illuminati) planets, Uranus and Neptune (now in mutual reception and supporting one another with Uranus in Pisces and Neptune still in Aquarius a while longer, though Uranus had entered Aries this year, soon will do so again, and won't return to Pisces for approximately 84 years.)

The year of Uranus/Neptune is 1993, the telling degree is '18 Capricorn' with its Sabian Symbol "The Union Jack" (Flies from a British Warship) = SUPERVISION in the Jones version of the symbols; in Dane Rudhyar's An Astrological Mandala, it's POLITICAL POWER. Jones' negative expression of this degree (to which I always add: 'unconscious/shadow side') is smug or strong-armed paternalism which, I believe, is what the imperialistic model of the US, the UK, and the Roman Empire (now the Vatican) are all about.

Be any of this as it may, do read Glenn Greenwald's article and click on the links therein for the stats of our decline cannot be ignored.

Terror, American Tyranny, and Divide-and-Conquer

American Gulag: Obama to Indefinitely Imprison Detainees Without Charges

By Glenn Greenwald

The administration is claiming the power to imprison whomever it wants without charges whenever it believes that -- even in the face of the horrendously broad "material support for terrorism" laws the Congress has enacted -- it cannot prove in any tribunal that the individual has actually done anything wrong. #

Now a few words from two of America's past experts on the subject:

"...freedom of person under the protection of the habeas corpus; and trial by juries impartially selected. These principles form the bright constellation which has gone before us, and guided our steps through an age of revolution and reformation." Thomas Jefferson

"The establishment of the writ of habeas corpus...are perhaps greater securities to liberty and republicanism than any it [the Constitution] contains....The practices of arbitrary imprisonments have been, in all ages, the favorite and most formidable instruments of tyranny. Alexander Hamilton

Article link and quotes compliments of Information Clearing House.

Given the turn of direction that America has taken in recent years - ramped up since the attacks of 9/11/01 - I fail to see how anyone can fail to see that we've been coup'd by those who will use tyranny against anyone they please. 'Protections' of American citizenship mean next to nothing under such imperialism.

And the tyrannist's baton was passed from Bush-Cheney to Obama-Biden on January 20, 2009, a baton stolen with help from SCOTUS (who shafted the American electorate once again last week) by Bush-Cheney in December 2000 mere months after after the August 11, 1999 King of Terror Eclipse predicted by Nostradamus.

Before 9/11, the Bush-Cheney administration was being spoken of as "illegitimate" but a bullhorn on rubble put a (supposed) end to the grousing and rumors and "brought us together" -- under Bush, along with the goose-steppers of Congress.

Historically, false flag ops have been shown to be highly effective for mobilizing whole populations, you know.

November 2010 Cometh...

"Democrats vs Republicans" - "libs vs cons" - "blue states vs red" -- all mindsets to keep we-the-people divided against ourselves and thus less potent than we really are. Toss off the shackles of these invented labels...please!

Not that the deck isn't stacked against us for there are few, if any, honest politicians to vote for in any state, and the day grows late...

US warhawks' new-found concern for the Iranian People

The "Bomb Iran" Contingent's New-found Concern for The Iranian People

By Glenn Greenwald

Much of the same faction now claiming such concern for the welfare of The Iranian People are the same people who have long been advocating a military attack on Iran and the dropping of large numbers of bombs on their country -- actions which would result in the slaughter of those very same Iranian People. #

Yes, "such concern" and crocodile tears belong in the same bucket. Of cr*p.

The hypocrisy of Washington politicians knows no bounds! Sometimes I have to wonder who writes the scripts - like this morning when I heard President Obama calling out North Korea's threat toward other countries and I thought, 'How soon they forget' that Bush-Cheney did much more than simply threaten other countries. Now Mr. Obama is on track to continue the bombing, and we-the-people know not where - but it's supposedly being done in our name.

And so the demonization of Iran's government rolls on, revved up this week by the Iranian people's understandable disbelief in their election outcome. But that is their business, is it not?

You know, I'd love it if all my grousings these last few years (on this blog since 2005, and in Slate's The Fray for years prior) about New World Order chaos plans (including financial collapse) with a power elite's shock doctrine agenda (so well-described by Naomi Klein) - if it all turned out to be merely a conspiracy theorist's nightmare amounting to nada. That would be be tres cool, you know?

She Still Is

And I've always said that 'America is my only nag in the race' especially when it comes to Capitol Hill legislation and election campaigns that tout our illusory 'two-party system' which is designed to divide and conquer, with little if any difference between Rs and Ds.

Class warfare, etc...them vs us, and you have your noggin planted firmly in the sand if you can't see who's winning big-time. Did I hear you whisper, 'middle class'? You know it's getting smaller by the day, m'peops. Our losses are someone's gains.

As for Iran's contested presidential election or one of our own, it's sadly become the same the world over, for it isn't who casts the votes that determines the winner. It's who counts them.

congressional Dems do something right

Salon's Glenn Greenwald: "House Democrats reject telecom amnesty, warrantless surveillance" (March 14, 2008)

As impressive as the House vote itself was, more impressive still was the floor debate which preceded it. I can't recall ever watching a debate on the floor of either House of Congress that I found even remotely impressive—until today. One Democrat after the next—of all stripes—delivered impassioned, defiant speeches in defense of the rule of law, oversight on presidential eavesdropping, and safeguards on government spying. They swatted away the GOP's fear-mongering claims with the dismissive contempt such tactics deserve, rejecting the principle that has predominated political debate in this country since 9/11: that the threat of the Terrorists means we must live under the rule of an omnipotent President and a dismantled constitutional framework.

...It's hard not to believe that there's at least some significant sea change reflected by this. They have seen that they can defy the President even on matters of Terrorism, and the sky doesn't fall in on them. Quite the opposite: an outspoken opponent of telecom amnesty, warrantless eavesdropping and the Iraq War was just elected to the House from Denny Hastert's bright red district, and before that, Donna Edwards ousted long-time incumbent Al Wynn by accusing him of being excessively complicit with the Bush agenda.

Virtually every one I know who has expended lots of efforts and energy on these FISA and telecom issues has assumed from the start—for reasons that are all too well-known—that we would lose. And we still might. But it's hard to deny that the behavior we're seeing from House Democrats is substantially improved, quite commendably so, as compared to the last year and even before that. It's very rare when there are meaningful victories and I think it's important to acknowledge when they happen.

But the proof is whether the fireworks amount to anything worthwhile for the American people.
