Saturn and Uranus rule Autumn Equinox 2013

September 22, 2013 = Autumn Equinox, aka, the Libra Ingress

The autumn season begins in this hemisphere on September 22, 2013 at 4:44:09 pm edt with Sun 00Lib00:00 in the 8th house in the horoscope set for Washington DC. In Washington, issues of debt ceilings and government shutdowns are on the agenda and the calendar with September 30th being the end of America's fiscal year, as you know. In 1st house are nebulous Neptune of The Masses and The Media, still traveling near Chiron, the Wounded Healer, who expresses the astrological archetype of Christ. Spiritual opportunities inspired by this duo are still available for those who long to experience and benefit from them. And a 1st house Neptune, with its implications of large events beyond personal control, denote possibilities for loss from floods, storms, contagions, and other damages to ourselves and the environment.

At 4:44:09 pm edt, 8AQ00 rises, making Saturn the chart-ruler (and autumn season ruler), along with Aquarius' sub-ruler, Uranus, the Awakener, the Witness, and the Anarchist. Conservative Saturn @9Sco09 rules the 12th house of Politics and Karma but is posited in the 9th house of Foreign Lands, Higher Education, and Philosophy. Meanwhile, quirky Uranus @10Ari57 Rx is in 2nd house of the National Treasury, Values, and Earning Ability where some disruption may be expected in all or some of these areas--not that Uranus ever delivers precisely what is expected. Even monetary improvement cannot be ruled out especially since changeable Mercury rules the 8th house and is posited there @20Lib59, sign of balance.

And yet reluctantly I must mention that chart-rulers Saturn and Uranus are inconjunct (150 degr = adjustment) one another making tweaks necessary if the brilliant, innovative ideas of genius Uranus are to be successfully poured into Saturnian form where they are able to function on the physical plane.

Note: you undoubtedly remember that on Election Day 2008, Saturn and Uranus opposed one another and a big debate then was, is Obama a status quo conservative or a progressive? I think most people now agree that he's more a status quo guy with his natal Saturn in its own sign of Capricorn when it comes to Capitalism--and lo and behold, here's fem-challenged, market-deregulating Larry Summers near the front of the line for the Fedhead job! See Ezra Klein's Do You Trust Larry Summers or Janet Yellen to Police Wall Street? How about neither? Both are agents of foreign banking houses just like most of the compromised politicians in Washington DC! My suspicion is that a mystery board of directors in the City of London will be The Deciders on who America's next chairman of the Fed will be.

The Saturn-Uranus inconjunct (or, quincunx, if you prefer) indicates stress in relationships, tension between 'old vs new', and priorities that are difficult to establish. Plus, new methods brought forth may be resented before they are accepted. Yet attempting to hold on to old concepts will not work very well this autumn and a more positive reaction to change and innovation must prevail for no one--even Republicans--can stop progress entirely, even if the proposed reforms seem to threaten security. Yet somehow we must work toward changes and improvements that increase productivity, which will be one way to ascertain that beneficial progress will result from Autumn 2013's efforts.

The reforms and improvements I mention here remind me of the movement to lessen the wide-ranging collection of Americans' private communications data (Uranus = technology; freedom, Saturn = government; law; control) which, if the US surveillance state will comply with our wishes, can only lead to more productivity for the collectors when it comes to mining data of actual criminals and terrorists (assuming that stopping terrorist attacks is their real goal--though keeping tabs on political opponents must have occurred to them as a bonus, a la Nixon, yes? My years of residency in our nation's capital taught me several things--one, that DC politics as currently practiced does not function without blackmail.)

Astro-Notes on Sun Scorpio-Moon Scorpio and November 13, 2012

Perhaps you're looking forward to the November 13, 2012 Solar Eclipse @22Scorpio for it occurs close enough to the November 6, 2012 elections to influence them (within two weeks.) Plus, the eclipse degree conjoins the 12th cusp in the US natal horoscope of July 4, 1776 5:10 pm LMT, Phildadelphia, PA, and as you know, the 12th house in Mundane or Political Astrology is the realm of Politics, Back Door Deals, Large Institutions, Karma, and Self-Undoing.

Yet nothing can stay hidden forever and eclipses, Solar and Lunar, are well known for revealing scandalous goings-on of all kinds. Thanks to Big Banks and their lousy bankers, Libor rate-rigging has been around a few years but is just now coming to public attention, thanks in large part to Matt Taibbi's excellent Rolling Stone article of July 3, Why Is Nobody Freaking Out about the Libor Banking Scandal? Scorpio Eclipse Notes

The emotional Water-Water Sun Scorpio-Moon Scorpio blend is intense, uncompromising, wary, and suspicious. Its energy is fearful, brooding, introspective, very private (like Mitt Romney), zealous for truth (not like Mitt Romney), and can be vengeful (and vulturous, I imagine--in fact, "vulture capitalist" sounds about as Scorpionic as you'd ever want to be, right? Astro-Note: the November 13, 2012 Solar Eclipse will deeply affect Syria and President Assad. The nation's 'Coup by Assad' horoscope of November 13, 1970 will be 'hit' by the eclipse which will fall on its natal Sun (leader), and on its natal Ascendant since the coup took place "at dawn" (Campion's Book of World Horoscopes) on that date. So the Assad regime has a Solar Eclipse for its Solar Return 'anniversary' of the coup when he took power and control of Syria. And since he's said to have flown the coop from Damascus to a coastal town, one may expect Assad may go into exile if he isn't arrested or killed first.

Sadly, thousands of Syrians, in fear for their lives, are streaming across borders into exile. Meanwhile, Assad has just appeared on TV!

In addition, until the November 2012 eclipse energies 'take over', the May 20, 2012 Solar Eclipse @00Gem20 conjunct Fixed Star Alcyone, portends themes of exile, suffering, and something to cry about. This eclipse has greatly affected the Assad regime's natal chart as well for 00Gem20 opposes the 1st house Mercury-Neptune conjunction ('following hunches'; 'delusions about how the world works') in the 1970 chart ('1Sag' = "A Grand Army of the Republic Campfire".)

So for these and other reasons, my heart and prayers go out to the good people of Syria--may your tribulations soon be at an end.

Diana and Dodi: suspicions allayed?

In honor of today's London inquest whose verdict is meant to finally alay rumors and suspicions that the royal family had a hand in the assassination plot against the Western princess and the Mideastern paramour, I have published the chart of the time of their fatal crash in Paris.

Romance and socializing are all over the chart but other things show as well.

And with Lord Justice Scott Baker's instruction to the inquest jury that there was no evidence to support claims that the couple were victims of a plot by Prince Philip and others, and that it was carried out by Brit secret agents--I'm not sure how laid-to-rest these suspicions can possibly be.

Brit secret agents are not necessarily at the top of my list for culpability, and others have benefited mightily from Princess Diana's death--no more high-profile campaigns against minefield sweeps for instance. Diana had an ability to sway the masses--an ability shared somewhat with others such as MLK, JFK...you know it.

Some say Diana knew too much and had threatened to spill the royal beans which gives me one of those Duh Moments we all have from time to time. That Dodi's Egyptian heritage was involved in their deaths is a distinct possibility when you consider how things have gone on since 1997. Uranus is conjunct the Medina degree in the chart, as you will see.

Midas and the London subway workers strike

Most of London's subway shuts down Monday evening at about 6:00 pm, with Saturn as chart-ruler and applying to transiting South Node, a separative point.

The Tube will be sorely missed until it meets its workers once again. And the Saturn-SN flavor shows the extreme discomfort the strike is causing the city of London and how it will inconvenience...other workers.

MC = "30Sco"..."The Halloween jester" and Moon is out-of-bounds and conj Pan, a trickster element.

Midas, grubber of gold, is hanging out around "8Gem" these days which is the "An industrial strike" *degree. Guess it's about mo' money. And it probably should be. Hope it works out for them and their families.

And Mercury's 00Vir01 position is very near Fixed Star, Regulus, one of the Royal Stars of Persia, keyphrase: success if revenge is avoided. There is a tremendous amount of success promised by Regulus and Harry's character seems to know that revenge brings no true, lasting success but only more retaliation and grief. Today's world could learn from Harry, couldn't it?

Were war whoops included?


Don't Tell Me It's Too Late

Now the hour grows dim and I have little fire in my belly to post on any of the charts and there are other things calling for my attention--like being whumped out for instance.

Yet there are a few things to mention about the current Foiled Attacks charts...


About 1:30 am BST: the first car rigged as bomb...green metallic Mercedes parked in front of a nightclub they call Tiger Tiger (now Yall check to see if the club has been dealing with any financial problems lately, ok? and check for bankruptcies in particular)...ambulance drivers were called to the scene (someone is said to have been "falling"...does this check out?), they see smoke coming out from the parked vehicle, call police who defuse the gaseous (Neptune) mess around 2 am.

Mars' only applying aspect (how things will proceed for Mars) during this episode is a semi-square to Uranus and although the Mars/Uranus combo perfectly describes explosions and revolution and such, a semi-square seems to me to imply imperfect attention to detail--assuming that the intent was to actually carry through explosive attacks (and not just to cower the population--an Orwellian tactic which doesn't seem to work esp well in the UK, does it? Yet with a brand-spankin' new PM you have to ask if it's false flag ops for controlling purposes.)


Note: the NWO degree "18Cap" crossed the MC at 1:53 am BST...see NWO hatches if you fancy. The Sabian Symbol for this degree relates directly to Britain.

The NWO's natal Sun degree is conjunct DESC (setting) at 1:30 am...that makes two Angular connections.

Anyway, the chart for 1:30 am BST, London, 29 June, has god-of-war and violent instigator Mars 2Tau59, ASC = 1Tau54--and here's a list of countries and cities associated with the bullish, determined, possessive, greedy, intolerant sign of *Taurus the Bull (in no particular order):

George, George Bush and his Aspirations

Action-lovin' Mars, the god of war, rules the natal Midheaven (the Aspiration or WHY? Point) of George Bush.

With cruel Saturn/Pluto's transiting midpoint currently upon Mr. Bush's n IC (HOW? Point, opposite Midheaven, aka MC), he is under tremendous pressure to complete his mission by any means necessary. But that was always the strategery.

Yes, Bush's mojo really has gone limp, as 'they' say (ex: Arianna Huffington has written about it in her blog at HuffPost) and I would add that charm only takes you so far in life. Esp since 'riding on the camel's back' eventually starts looking like what it is...sorriness...a moocher!)

With 'two men placed under arrest' in Glasgow, we see that the US secondary progressed Mars, now RX since July 2006, is at the "Two men placed under arrest" degree of "18Libra"...CONSEQUENCE...

Jupiter/Saturn = US's sec Mars (the military; police; firefighters, men, suffragette-type women, etc): discontent; inconstant will; the desire to enforce change of circumstances and conditions; feeling unrewarded and making a change; not wanting to toe the line.


And Rx Jupiter is just before returning to 11Sag+, the degree of Chiron-Pluto's conjunction of Dec 30, 1999...when many manipulative plans were laid to usher in the 'New Millenium.'

Significator for the Middle East?

Our current Full Moon 8Capr25 (opposite Sun 8Cancer25) is out-of-bounds and may signify in part the Eastern influence in events ('Moon' as symbol for the region)--as does Neptune--still dancing in opposition to authoritative Saturn.) We know that Neptune was at 6-7 Aquarius when Mohammed entered Medina, thus we have the offical beginning of Islam...and the origin of the Medina degree.

Then with the attacks of 9/11/01 being part of Islam's Neptune Return--to 6-7 AQ--Neptune's mysticism, spirituality, vortex to the divine, and poppies-of-the-field qualities seem to describe the East accurately in my book. For chart studies it's Neptune for our brothers and sisters of the Islamic persuasion even while acknowledging that all planetary energies manifest on many levels at once in our complex world...if they manifest at all.

Yet Islam shares something in similar fashion with Protestantism and with Christianity in general besides their professed belief in One God: religions have factions. Nothing manmade is perfect, is it? Religion is a splinteredly thing.

Perhaps it was crooks--or some in-league covens of desperate politicians. Like I said, crooks.
