Presidents' Day Feb 17, 2014: a T-Square for a radical planet

It seems rather interesting that on this Presidents' Day 2014 a T-Square forms over head between the Jupiter-Pluto opposition (Can/Cap axis) squaring radical Uranus @10Ari06, America's 'totem planet' of freedom, independence, and revolution.

And of course you know that Ebertin describes Uranus when in Mars-ruled Aries as dreamy Utopians fanatically fighting, violent, and filled with blind zeal. And you know one example of their 'dream': the determination to force the world into Global Governance and under their thumbs--those kind of people. What's interesting to me is that today's degree of planet Uranus when rounded up for its Sabian Symbol to "11Aries"...is: "The President of the Country."

Now this word picture could refer to any country's president, even Russia's Putin with so much of the world's current emphasis upon the Sochi Olympic Games, but writing from Stars Over Washington, I naturally think first of President Obama. Especially since transit Jupiter @10Can55Rx is amongst America's natal planets in Cancer (3--14 degrees: Venus, Jupiter, and Sun, the president) and tr Pluto continues to oppose US natal Sun which shows the titanic power struggles Mr. Obama is in process of negotiating (as if creepy Pluto of the Underworld--The Global Banking Syndicate, its allies, and political puppets--can be reasoned with!)

Uranus "11Aries" = IDEALIZATION...positive expression: the self-sacrifice required of anybody who would become the creative representative of eternal value; negative (unconscious/shadow side): an often well-meaning but usually destructive assertiveness or vain pretense.

Congress gavels in with Castor rising 2.22.10 + George Washington's natal chart

This afternoon at 2:00 pm est, the US Congress gaveled in after its almost-two-week recess in honor of Presidents Day. If you're like me, no sigh of relief escaped your lips because the pocket-liners were back under the Masonic dome of the Capitol Building but it had to happen, I know, yet what never seems to happen anymore is legislation passed on behalf of the American people.

At 2:00 pm, Capitol Building, the Ascendant degree 18Can15 'brought up' a difficult Fixed Star, Castor 20Can14 (keywords: sudden fame; loss; murder; mental illness; crippling of limbs. - A. Louis.) Brady's Book of Fixed Stars gives Castor's keyphrase as: the intellectual writer, and of course, Castor's twin star, Pollux 23Can13, is soon-to-rise, keywords: danger of disgrace; murder; rape; cruelty; danger from poisons, women, or large animals; good for the occult or for Astrology.

Castor rising may be significant as well because of the upcoming Solar Eclipse @ 19Can24 on July 11, 2010 in the 12 South Series which is the Pre-Natal Series of the USA (@ 00Pis33); this timing greatly personalizes the July 2010 Eclipse for America.

12S's flavor is one of 'successful outcomes to long term worries' (B. Brady) - yet there's Saturn's 'long term' influence mentioned, as below. Well, perhaps the Obama stimulus plan will pay off more obviously for our economy during the second half of 2010 as predicted by this administration. I sincerely hope so since my personal list of friends and family experiencing job loss has recently grown longer.

The first US natal planet to rise in today's gaveling-in chart is our Mercury Rx '25Cancer': "A Man Wrapped in an Invisible Mantle of Power." I believe this is a reference to the T-Square of the chart between Saturn Rx 3Lib17 at Ic (the Foundation or Basis of the chart and of the congressional session now underway) and the gaveling-in's Mc which implicates the ongoing transit of Saturn to US natal Mc 00Lib53...and more specifically to the T-SQ's apex Pluto.

Normally a Saturn-to-Mc transit should be a time of great accomplishment and recognition for long term efforts (and perhaps it will be before the transit ends - then it's on to America's Saturn Return)...unless Saturnian responsibilities have not been properly addressed. As I stated previously: they have not as of yet.

However, this trasit could be considered part of NWO implementations since the global elite agenda has been a long time coming. The pay-off for the power elite is Saturnian control, but for the rest of us it's Saturnian loss...loss in reputation (10th house = the world stage; public standing/status; and loss of career with massive unemployment. Old Man Saturn likes cutbacks and conservative measures.)

The T-SQ forms a midpoint picture...

Saturn/Mc = Pluto: great demands; a grand struggle ordained by destiny; fear of loss; the need to be in control at all times; great changes in life's conditions; strong repression of your work by others; added willpower to accomplish your goals.

Now any, all, or none of the above may apply and may refer to congressional members, but I suspect that Pluto 5Cap56 in 6th house, apex planet of the T-SQ, is described as well: plutonian string-pulling. I have previously posted on the upcoming Cardinal T-Square which will bedevil the world from Spring 2010 into 2014 but I will repeat some of it now - even though today's T-SQ is a bit different and includes the gaveling-in's Mc: apex Pluto in a Cardinal T-SQ = a private loner who must be in control at all times and willfuly fulfils his (their) ambitions through force, manipulation, or subversive activities; hidden strengths allow ruthless overwhelming of opponents for this high-powered executive position that demands penetrating insights into all crucial operations (of the US Senate and House, it seems.) 2:00 pm est today was a Moon Hour (fluctuations; changes; removals; travel) and the Moon 13Gem33 (just barely entered into the 11th house) makes two applying aspects:

1. Moon square Venus 14Pis07 in 9th house (0A34); indicates overindulgences, trouble with women, and/or a lack of self-control;

2. Moon trine Mercury 18AQ45 in 8th house (5A11); indicates restlessness, purposeful travel, and/or charming verbal abilities which may mask deceptions.

Then at 6:30 pm this evening, congressional members are meant to show up for the start of voting on what was discussed earlier today, so I'll check out the chart for 6:30 pm est, and if I find anything of particular interest, it will be reported here.

So said the Father of Our Country, the only US president never to have lived (or slept) in the White House.

Here you see Washington's natal chart (Rodden Rating AA from family Bible) in honor of today's being Presidents Day which Congress created in 1971 as the 3rd Monday in February in order to blend Abe Lincoln into the celebration.

The chart you see is set for Feb 22 although GW was born on Feb 11 and so the chart says, "NS" for New Style/Gregorian which adds 10 days from the Julian calendar.

Translating GW's 18th century birth data correctly contains other quirkiness such as the fact that Britain didn't adopt Jan 1 as the start of the new year until 1752, so often you will see Washington's birth year written 1731/32, and if you do a straight conversion to LMT from the 18th century's LAT, you actually get 10:14 am as his time of birth.

The chart published here is from Rodden's astrodatabank.com with Solar Fire software, and it's the chart I've used for his Solar Return 2008 which occurs Feb 22, 2008 at 8:48:50 am LMT, Wakefield, VA.

And there again--the Wakefield area was known as Popels Creek when Numero Uno first saw the light of day.

As we infer from the above quote, Washington's associations, which included Freemasonry membership, were important for social acendancy all through his life. And if you click to enlarge the chart you'll see five midpoint pictures which include the associative/joining point of the North Node (NN.)

Please pardon my usual chicken scratch and tiresome tendency to schmoosh a bunch of details onto a chart--to make amends I'll type out the pictures for you from the Tyl and Ebertin directories:

Sun/NN = Mc: becoming prominent through associations; friendship based on soul kinship; a spiritual attitude to associations.

Mars/Mc = NN: leadership qualities; success potential; imposing one's will upon others.

Mars/NN = Uranus: stirring up others; events that affect a great many people; upsets; active cooperation; an organizing activity; sudden experiences shared with others.

Pluto/NN = Mars: demonstrating violence in the presence of others; tyranny; desire to control others; exhibition of personal power; the misfortune to be placed in someone else's hand or power. (Pluto/NN = powerful groups, Mars = activity; initiation.--jc)

Jupiter/NN opposite ASC: harmony; friendliness. (Jupiter/NN = wealthy groups conj DESC = partnerships; marriage; other people--jc)

There are two more natal pictures to be considered:

Mercury/Venus = Sun: conceit; vanity; recognition (yes, he's known for modesty but either it was faked, or only the 'recognition' part of this picture was activated--his choice. There's also such a thing as unconscious conceit, something most people suffer from--politicians in particular.)

And not all midpoint pictures are applicable in any chart--some never play out at all. My suspicion here is that this one did--plus, we-the-people have had GW's character spruced up through the years by idol-makers to make him appear larger than life. What do you think?

(Perhaps George Washington didn't so much sleep here as spend quite a few restless nights.)

Plus: Saturn/Uranus = Mercury: ability to hit back hard under provocation; organizing resistance; making great demands upon one's nervous energy; separating oneself from others; making necessary changes.

There are two interesting pictures when you add America's natal Saturn and Pluto--the one made by GW's natal Mars/Saturn with America's natal Pluto...

Mars/Saturn: Pluto: anger; death of a great many people; Higher Power; brutality; the need to take control.

And the one made by America's n Saturn with GW's n Jupiter/Pluto (Jupiter/Pluto = plutocrats)...

Jupiter/Pluto = Saturn: adjusting the big picture to meet with more convention; strategy becomes necessary; difficulties; separation.

Washington's natal (Water-Earth) Sun Pisces-Moon Capricorn blend is instructive as well for it is humane, charitable, cautious, and discreetly ambitious. There is high moral integrity here, and a dutiful nature with a deep sense of justice. (Would that America can find such a one again!)

This is the "pillar of strength" combo--reservedly romantic with a philosophical sense of humor. Dependable with a talent for strategy and blessed with shrewd perceptive capacity, Washington was both practical and mystical simultaneously.

Negatively, there is a moralistic and judgmental approach to relationships, a proneness toward worry and pessimism, timidity, defensiveness, and a leaning toward secretiveness.

The claylike Water-Earth combination's shadow side traits are a tendency to get stuck in the mud, 'swamped' by the sense of duty, and to hold a subjective and narrow viewpoint.

And in Synthesis and Counseling in Astrology, master astrologer Noel Tyl gives a slightly different flavor to the Sun Pisces-Moon Cap blend, and I quote so as not to miss a drop:

"In this blend, sensitivity seasons ambitious administration. We have the "feeling businessman," if you will. The abstract and the concrete, the ideal and the practical, the visionary and the actual are all blended together to put the personality forward."

Tellingly, we see that with the Placidus House System, the Sabian Symbol for GW's n Mc (Midheaven= Aspirations; Goals) is "30Cap"...

"Directors of a large firm meet in secret conference" and its opposite degree, "30Can", the Basis or Foundation of GW's natal chart is:

"Daughter of the American Revolution."

His n Mars/Uranus midpoint is at "1Sag", the "Grand Army of the Republic campfire" degree (Jones.)

The blend of Martian and Uranian energies bestows a self-willed urge for freedom, much courage and fighting spirit, and contains, of course, a dynamic explosive quality so prevalent during violent revolutions.

Mars/Uranus describes revolutionaries and freedom fighters, in fact (Ebertin) and is operative in the US natal chart by a wide conjunction in Gemini.

Washington's Solar Return 2008 has the Mars/Chiron (sacred warrior archetype) precisely on the SR ASC 22Ari34 (orb of 31 minutes.)

Jupiter 14Cap15 is at Mc 13Cap01, making the SR Ic the repository for the US and Bush natal Suns, with asteroid Apollo there as well...Apollo, the hero. Apollo is linked with the Sun as the life purpose, aka the hero's journey.

This is another indication of this time and this presidential election being an important make-or-break situation.
