Court Throws Out North Carolina's Racist Voting Law As 'A Cure For Problem That Doesn't Exist - clip

Having family in Raleigh, North Carolina, this court ruling sounds to me like a big improvement over racism-inspired voter suppression. Thom Hartmann reports:

3.1.11: Pres. Obama in secret meetings, New Moon on Friday

ABC News' Jake Tapper reports that all day today President Obama will be in secret meetings behind closed doors including one with Biden and Gates. Hmmm...wonder what's hatching?

And I report my return last evening from a fun weekend with family in charming Raleigh, NC. Over the weekend, only one post made it online and you'll discover it @ Jude's Threshold, as you wish!

Naturally an out-of-town spree necessitates getting back in the groove for a couple of days so there's no time for a post on what I'm currently working on concerning the Full Moon of March 19, 2011 @ 28Vi48 (3rd house of Communications in Washington DC.)

My plan is to post on the Full Moon asap since its horoscope is quite a doozy and may relate to the threatened shut down of the US government in two weeks - unless compromise cannot be reached this week (now!) which will trigger a shut down on Friday March 4. As you know, March 4 synchronizes with a New Moon @ 14 Pisces on that afternoon (new beginnings), and a Full Moon (culmination; fulfillment) always follows two weeks later. (Some astro-details of the 1995/96 shut down are included.)

So the possibility of government shut down (if it happens) in March 2011 hangs upon the Virgo/Pisces polarity, the victim-savior axis of the zodiac - and the effects of a government shut down upon the people would fit that picture perfectly.

Stars Over Washington posting from Raleigh May 9, 2010

This cool Spring morning I'm blogging to say Hello to you from Raleigh, North Carolina! Have spent the morning reading articles around the web, mostly bad or so-so news with a smidge of good, a little Astrology, and some mild Facebookin'.

Today my family and I will check out the new space at the NC Art Museum which includes a beautiful reflecting pool (I do so love reflecting pools, don't you?) but stay tuned for a return of Political Astrology articles posting to this blog no later than Tuesday, May 11!

But for now, I'm wishing Happy Mother's Day to those who celebrate their source yet I remain a little wary of the ongoing in-tandem transit of heavy-hitter Pluto with asteroid Ceres, the archetype of The Mother, which in Mundane Astrology = security needs, agriculture and food supplies like milk and especially grains, and other domestic issues of which the horrendous Gulf oil spill and the Times Square almost-bomber are but two examples.

Yes, Mother Earth must be quite unhappy with us about now and this cannot be a very Happy Mother's Day for Gaia, can it?

Makes me wonder: can global plutonian overlords monkey with our food supplies, our brain waves, and our natural environment any more than they already have?

Mais oui! For as you know, old Satan is endlessly inventive, he really knows how to hold a grudge, and we earthlings are the pawns in his already-lost game.

Obama approval rating falls 5 pts 3.16.09

Pew Research Center has reported today that Pres. Barack Obama's approval rating has fallen 5 pts from 64% to 59% for the first time in his young presidency.

Quite an understandable eventuality, I'd say. But to me, poll numbers and reports are basically done and publicized for manipulation's sake (from all or any side.)

Oh, and I've returned from a few days in Raleigh, NC, with spurs still a-jinglin' yet refreshed from having no laptop or pc in sight for 3 1/2 days.

Lunched on great Indian food after which we enjoyed our first viewing of the engrossing Slumdog Millionaire...didn't quite dance out of theater but definitely considered it...hope all is well with you!
