Horoscope: Spring Equinox 2019 - Virgo Moon Rising

Lower right is a Note: Speaker of the House Pelosi's Mars Return (25Taurus) occurs on or about March 25, 2019 beginning a new 2-year cycle of activity for her with the House as of January 2019 ruled by congressional Democrats. Interestingly, the Moon leads a Locomotive shape of all the planets in the chart indicating a ruthless drive toward success by an executive--is this Speaker Pelosi representing the Democrats, plus, We The People? I suspect on one level 'tis She of The Gavel. Yet the Moon's Sabian Symbol suggests otherwise: '28Virgo' = "A Bald-Headed Man Dominates a Gathering of National Figures." Trump is balding, so obviously Spring 2019 is gonna be Trump vs Pelosi for the duration of the year (Aries Ingresses symbolize entire years) with a Virgo Moon signifying practicality and methodical procedures. Also see the Sabian Symbol of the Sun ('1Aries') at the top of the horoscope - America's Great Seal is hinted at along with the Founders' pagan worship of goddess Venus.

Future Direction: 11th house North Node in Cancer (conjunct US natal Mercury Rx) denotes contacts, meetings, and encounters of a Cancerian nature which includes; business, security, family, and domestic matters along with Cancer's penchant for tribalism (ex: Trump's 'nationalism'.)

Eclipse-wise, Spring Equinox 2019's Prenatal Solar Eclipse ('PE') manifested on January 6, 2019 @15Cap25 (2 South: 'joining a new or unusual group and gaining a great deal' - Brady; perfect for new Congress members). The PE conjuncts the 5th cusp of this horoscope (15Cap51)--5th house = risk-taking, speculation, creative pursuits, children (such as the ones Trump cages and tear gases). The Equinox 2019's Syzygy Moon, a New Moon, occurs on March 6, 2019 @15Pis47 conjunct Neptune = illusions, delusions, illusions, pretense, and disguises. This may denote a new cycle of deception beginning for or by the Trump administration or the seeding (New Moon) of them. Either way we'll know more very soon by the bright light of the next Full Moon @00Lib09 (March 21st) which conjoins the natal MC of the US natal chart (5:09 pm lmt) with the Sun @00Ari09 conjunct our national IC, the Foundation of the Matter, but also The Drain and the HOW? Point. America's public status and reputation in the world should be in the spotlight more than usual around that time, such as they are thanks to asset Trump and the Kremlin. Good news is that protective Jupiter in his own sign of Sagittarius is in the 4th house of Domestic Scene, Real Estate, and Mining which happily is ruled via Sag by moneybags Jupiter, the financier, politician, guru, broadcaster, and The General. Between February 20th and 23rd, transit Jupiter passes over Trump's natal South-Node-Moon conjunction (20-22Sag), a real mixture of both positive and negative feelings (Moon) for him (will he relocate back to NYC? it's a transit of 'conflicts of interest' plus, 'happiness' - and he misses his penthouse so!). Yet if we look below the surface, we find the Hopi Blue Star of Prophecy, Ras Alhague waiting patiently for expression--apparently through mouthpiece Donald Trump. Now as you see, unpredictable Uranus @00Tau41 (a degree of violence--Devore; and Hitler's natal Sun degree) is in the corporate 8th house of Shared Finances, Credit/Debt/Insurance, Death, Transformation, and the Occult, and is unaspected which emphasizes the detached, isolated quality of astrological Uranus, the chaos-creator (and Trump's guiding planet). Disruptions, shocks, or upsets may occur. And when unmodulated by aspects from other planets, quirky Uranus's energies are difficult for any individual to handle and denotes one who acts independently of outside influences, is restless, nervous, and discontent. There may be spurts or flashes of genius (positively or negatively) in the house (area of life) where Uranus is located. Then with Venus in detached Aquarius, Uranus has something to say about finances (8th house) of such things as the military, police, and civil services (6th house), and about perspective (Venus). Even health issues could be in the Uranian barrel (6th house) especially since the Venus-Uranus pair when acting negatively tends to indicate extravagance and waste. One is reminded of the sad state of America's Veterans Administration along with the EPA and every other government department suffering underneath the hefty Trump.

Yes, there are a many other chart factors worth mentioning here but I shall keep to my aim that this be a post, not a book, and shall leave them for you, dear reader, to admire. However, of special interest is the 5th house Saturn-Pluto conjunction which perfects @22Cap46 on January 12, 2020 - conjunct the natal Vertex of Donald J. Trump. Yet in this 2019 Equinox horoscope, Pluto @22Cap51 already conjoins Trump's Vertex, a point in Astrology of 'fated encounters' or 'appointments with fate'. This may suggest a meeting between Trump and one of his idolized dictators or it could suggest a cosmic picture of something even more sinister, something that's been brewing for a long time in that karmic reap what's been sown sort of way.

For there is one thing everyone in the Universe agrees on: the piper must always be paid!

Horoscopes: Trump-Putin in Helsinki plus Finland 1917

For starters, you may want to Shine with Facts about Finland. Next, how about a peek at the natal horoscope of the Republic of Finland as detailed in Campion's The Book of World Horoscopes, chart #104?

Above: Republic of Finland 6 December 1917 3:00 pm -1:39:52 Helsinki; conquered by Russia in 1809; independence gained during the Russian Revolution; in October (OS)--November (NS) the Bolsheviks seized power; proposal for Finnish independence accepted "at around 3:00 pm on 6 December 1917"; Campion chart #104 set for 3:00 pm although 'some Finnish astrologers use a slightly earlier time'.

Here I should add a few details concerning the Prenatal Solar Eclipse (PE) of Finland (@25Can51 in 3rd house conjunct IC in the 9 New South Saros Series perfected on July 19, 1917 (its initial manifestation) with themes of: bringing to the surface long-term worries about loved ones, family (in Cancer), health, or paperwork and communications issues; a worrying piece of news may arrive and responsibilities involving paperwork 'could come home to roost' (Brady). Note that its position of 25Can51 falls between the natal Venus and Saturn of Mr. Trump--and conjoins US natal Mercury Rx (July 4, 1776).

As you see in the above horoscope, Finland's natal Mercury (7th house, in Nodal Degree = karmic) is chart-ruler and makes only one applying Ptolemaic aspect--an opposition to Pluto Rx (3A39) which was transiting rather closely with the Tail of the Dragon, the Moon's South Node (Pluto-SN = upheavals, war, violence, criminal elements afoot). See bottom left corner for details. Another curious chart factor is the elevated Venus @00AQ58 which would be conjoined by US POTUS Sun (the leader) once FDR changed our inauguration ceremonies from early March to January 20 in 1937. Finland's Venus (values, perspectives, attraction, relationships, diplomacy, art) conjoins fixed star Altair, the Eagle (bold and determined).

And so America's natal Mercury also flails around in there between Trump's Venus-Saturn conjunction and suggests potentials for narrow-mindedness and visions of stark reality (Ebertin) which is almost amusing until you think of Trump's tragically loose relationship with the truth egged on by his problematic, fantasy-prone Mercury-Neptune square. Yet 'stark reality' does hint at Trump's dreary dystopian inaugural address of January 20, 2017, as written by 'political scientist' Stephen Miller who lurks about casting shadows in the White House. Another 1917 Solar Eclipse

Yes, those were karmic days, as our ours, and we must note that another 'cosmic blink' or 'wild card of the Universe' manifested within two weeks of Finland's founding for a second Solar Eclipse perfected on December 14, 1917 @22Sagittarius in the 10 North Saros Series. 10 North's themes also shine a spotlight on communications along with frustrating or inhibiting events via news received, paperwork, or young people; those affected may feel tired or drained of energy but progress can be made by working through issues one at a time (paraphrasing Predictive Astrology, Bernadette Brady). Perhaps I needn't mention that the 10N eclipse @22Sag conjoins the SN-Moon conjunction in the natal horoscope of Donald Trump--and his conjunction ensnares within its net starry Ras Alhague the Blue Star of Hopi Prophecy.

Finally, if the schedule holds, Trump and Putin are set to meet in Helsinki, Finland on July 16, 2018 and since no exact hour is known by yours truly, here's a horoscope for that date and location set for 11:44 am EEDT -3:00 which puts the Cardinal World Points of manifestation on the chart's angles:

Hour of the Sun, chart-ruler Venus @6Vir57 conjoins fixed star Thuban (to protect or make a treasure; relates to hoarders and misers); Venus makes no applying aspects which further emphasizes her sign and house position; in Virgo, Venus is in her fall since she's exalted in Pisces and as diplomat may not be particularly successful. Virgo, sign of The Critic--will there be criticism for Mr. Trump from Putin--or vice versa? Venus likes partnership and these two players act as if they're already some sort of team--yet someone involved holds very high standards. Frustration may result from this 'diplomatic' meeting if indeed it can be described as such.

Mercury, Planet of Messages and Meetings

Perhaps the planet of meetings, communications, reporting, negotiations, gossip, and such has more to tell us--Mercury @19Leo43 in the 11th house of Groups and Associations seems promising yet the little fella is unaspected and thus quite uninformed except on certain limited topics! Unaspected, that is, unless we count Mercury's inconjunct to Neptune @16Pis17 Rx which conjoins Achernar, a star of crisis and rapid endings. In the 6th house of Military, Police, and Civil Service, Neptune continues its campaign of contagious propaganda with streaks of paranoia, delusion, and fraud which may be all the public gets out of this 'conference' between Trump and Putin. But Astrology provides clues because the inconjunct between Mercury and Neptune suggests that priorities need establishing, promises have been made and perhaps not kept, someone has taken on too many tasks, overreactions have occurred or will occur, worries concern problems that may be only imaginary, uncomfortable misunderstandings are possible, and someone feels disappointed to find that he's been used.

July 16, 2018: Now I suspect you've already noticed that the Sun @23Cancer47 shines upon the natal Saturn of Donald Trump (and with his natal Venus nearby). Sun to natal Saturn is a time of serious situations when one is called upon to be more reliable and trustworthy (ruh-roh!) and issues of authority and maturity are under consideration. Has Trump made the grade with mentor Putin?Well, on a side note, Finland's natal Nemesis (the unbeatable foe) here conjoins Trump's natal Midheaven (@25Taurus with enraged Algol there) along with the country's natal Hidalgo, the social climber asteroid which also relates to foreigners. That's quite a cosmic duo of archetypes at Trump's Point of Aspiration!

As for Vladimir Putin himself, the Sun on July 16, 2018 has just squared his natal Neptune (21Lib27), a time when reality is elusive (or he is), and now squares natal Mercury (23Lib10) denoting that others seek his advice or opinion and it will be best for him to avoid those who boast, over-promise, and/or mislead. Well, I guess we both know who that sounds like. Still, listening closely to the words of others yields interesting tidbits of information and as a former KGB spy, Putin does this automatically--and who better to leak and share, consciously and unconsciously, than the indiscreet Mercury-Neptune-square fellow named Donald Trump?

Besides, I suspect that Putin's natal Mercury-Neptune conjunction resonates extremely well with Trump's natal Mercury-Neptune square, don't you? Guess they're kind of 'birds of a feather' sympatico. For the conjunction 'merges real with unreal' similar to the way a Mercury-Neptune square has trouble separating fact from fiction. And according to master astrologer Alan Oken, the conjunction is "The Illusionist" while the square describes "The Sneaky Mind."

So if we round up for the Sabian Symbol representing Putin's Saturn and Trump's Jupiter both @18Libra we find, "Two Men Placed Under Arrest" which speaks of sanctions and societal order protecting itself by their use. "Keynote: A breakdown in the constructive relationship between the individual and society, and the expectable result." {} Excluded are "exiles, the alien, the unassimilable; if (society) cannot send them to outer space, it must isolate them in a special type of inner space, a prison. Whew! This sounds like so much going on right now--Trump's vicious separation of children from their parents at the border, refugees, America's overcrowded prisons, who-knows-what criminality by Putin--and the fact that the world's 'top dogs' are usually the ones who most deserve to be locked up. How curious that various billionaires are into blasting rockets into outer space these days--even Trump has blabbed about it and has gone so far as to call for the establishment of a sixth US military branch, a pie-in-the-sky Space Force which would probably be against International Law (a fact he may not know) so his announcement was intended to divert public attention from his self-created border crisis and change the subject from the Mueller investigation closing in around his ears.

Trump's May 30 2018 Moon Return: an eventful month

Donald Trump's Very Karmic Lunar Return of May 30, 2018

Today, May 30, 2018, at 11:56:20 am edt, a Lunar or Moon Return for Donald Trump perfected. The horoscope you see below of the Return is set for today at the White House and predicts for him a prominent, eventful, and important month because the horoscope features angles and cusps that are basically those of Trump's natal angles and cusps. This cosmic condition makes his personal month which begins this very day significant for him until his next Lunar Return on June 26, 2018.

As you know, Lunar Returns reveal insights into how our daily lives will proceed for a particular month and the prevailing emotional mood or trends but for a public figure, more info can be gleaned from a Return chart (of any kind including Lunar) since their lives are usually more eventful than the average bear's anyway. And of course, the astrological Moon relates to multiple areas of life such as unconscious motivations, reigning emotional needs (Tyl), health issues or concerns, and the women in one's life, plus, family members--his ruled by the expansive moneybags planet, Jupiter.

Also a significant factor in any planetary, lunar, or solar return chart is that whatever natal aspects the celestial body held in the natal chart are re-activated on various levels of the personality. So as you know, Trump's Moon conjoins natal South Node and opposes natal Sun-NN, a cosmic picture of his relationship axis which involves his current marriage issues with wife Melania and his family ties disappointing, jeopardizing, or otherwise displeasing him. Any Moon-South Node contact can be a lonely, isolating proposition especially when one is haplessly motivated by unconscious, neurotic impulses and obsessions defensively formed in the past. Neurotic because these defenses worked okay in past situations but no longer serve a constructive purpose in the present--yet they are relied upon anyway similar to constantly using the 'head against a brick wall' stupidity.

Now I don't have to mention here all the scandals and legal issues Mr. Trump is dealing or not dealing with currently or the fact that most of them are due to his own actions in the past (karmic Saturn's realm) for most of his troubles are, in a word, self-created. He likely feels he's caught in a vise that's closing (a la Mr. Mueller and his team) and normally I would feel sad for him--well, I do, but mostly I feel sad for America that we've all been put in the position of accepting (or not) an Oval Office tenure for a man like Donald Trump who was placed in position by dark forces. Perhaps this is primarily due to the fact that any brand of mobsterism is a no-go for yours truly, and the old 'ends justifies the means' attitude of Machiavellianism sucks heartily in my personal opinion--and always has. We are our brothers' keepers even though the unprincipled Mr. Trump does not subscribe to that common-good principle and has no apparent means of appreciating or adopting any mode of existence but that which exalts his own self-interest.

But that's part of the point--transit Neptune continues to square Trump's natal Moon (@22Sag = "A Chinese Laundry"--hint hint!) while other Saturnian transits add to his difficulties for lesson-bringer Saturn demands accountability, realism, and authenticity, while Neptune lies, confuses, attempts to cover up, and brings paranoia and fear into any overwhelming situation and involves flooding, leaking, subterfuge, betrayal, fraud, and disguise. Transit Neptune in mid-Pisces also squares his Nodal axis--with his natal Moon conjunct natal South Node (of the Moon), a karmic, reap-what's-sown condition for him (and thus by extension, for America and the American people) and it very much includes his unconscious compulsions learned during childhood--one reason he's sometimes called a 'man-baby'.

Because as you know, the adolescent stage of life never fully developed or evolved into Saturnian maturity! Actually, his natal Saturn in Moon-ruled Cancer denotes an emotionally hypersensitive, discontented fellow, an emotional loner. And yes, uncertain Neptune square his Nodal axis muddies his public image and tries to hide the ties, contacts, encounters, and meetings now under close scrutiny. Note that Neptune can also bring loss, fear, disappointment, and/or theft of possessions.

Then to complicate matters for all of us, add Trump's Mars rising--testy, hypersensitive, and red-faced--in arrogant Leo, sign of a natural leader, and we've got plenty of troubles of our own, thanks to Trump's emotional complexes, impulsive nature, lack of self-esteem, feelings and fears of inferiority and of being considered 'wrong' or insignificant, criminal underworld connections, and tremendous anger and rage issues. Among many other things he's a brooder and a pouter!

A Magnificent May 2018?

So May 2018 began for Mr. Trump with yet another in a series of Saturn transits seen via The Establishment challenging the ideas, plans, commercial interests and transactions, and the attitudes of Donald Trump and his Mercury (@8Cancer). Here karmic Saturn times an ongoing Saturnian period of depression, obstacles, blocks, delays, scrutiny, and demands from authority figures. Add to this transit Neptune square natal Moon and potentials include emotional depression (did wife Melania really move back to NYC?), obstacles, shifting alliances, issues of unreliability, and scandals based on his own past (and current) behavior (ex: crimes, overstepping legal boundaries of the Executive Branch, and other outrages). Tragically, he made his crooked bed and now We The People must recline in it.

See 2018 Saturn to Trump Natal Mercury-Neptune Square, aspect of a pathological fantasist now being held to account by realistic, law abiding Saturn.

And yet at least a partial reprieve may arrive once the predicted 'Blue Wave' (Neptune!) occurs in November 2018 at the Midterm Elections with as many Democratic victors as possible in order to 'turn the tide' in Congress. Or that's the narrative the public is being sold in a nation where most if not all politicians and media figures are compromised by corporate 'big bucks' and glowing promises of continuing elite status--which, with oceanic Neptune involved, may or may not be the case for each one of them who now carry water for the Global Crime Syndicate/s.

Eclipses Are Karmic and Affect History bwo Individuals

So as you see, 'The Great American Eclipse' of August 21, 2017 @29 Leo rises precisely along with Trump's natal ASC, Mars, and royal Regulus (a star whose caution to 'avoid revenge' Trump has not heeded). You'll remember that this Total Solar Eclipse 'split' America across its middle--separating North and South, a symbolic cosmic condition with fated undertones which I believe (you may disagree) involves issues created by adherents of such groups as the white supremacy ('Brotherhood'), the Klan, and the NRA. Russian (Chinese and Arab) agents infiltrating and sabotaging the US government are entangled in there somewhere, with the Oval Office being one spot we can reliably find at least one. As someone recently said, Shake any tree in the Trump forest and a Russian falls out.

The day flees and so the rest of Mr. Trump's Lunar Return for May 30, 2018 I shall leave up to you, dear reader, for Mr. Trump is a fascinating personality full of greed, revenge, lust, bigotry, deception, and other components made creepier by his natal Pluto in Leo unaspected.

So in closing, here's an excerpt from a previous post concerning Trump's unaspected Pluto:

Unaspected Pluto @10Leo02 in 12th house of the Unconscious suggests one who is 'overshadowed by shadows' (Tierney) with Pluto, the isolationist, being the planet of Psychology, Psychiatry, and persuasion. There are subterranean forces within his psyche that are totally fragmented from the rest of his personality and because they are buried, he is unaware of them which gives them even greater primal power. This, I believe, suggests the "he can't help himself" remarks that perhaps you've heard from commentators and reporters (exs: all-hours tweeting about former Miss America, Alicia Machado and her weight gain, and other crass behaviors and remarks that set him back in the polls).

Unaspected Pluto is the essence of overwhelming compulsions and powerful wealth-hoarder Pluto (the plundering plutocrat and manipulator) needs aspects to other planets in order to modulate its extreme tendencies. But with Mr. Trump, Pluto doesn't receive them, and nor do his other planets which could use the regeneration principle that Pluto could supply via aspect. And we have to say that Pluto's association with nuclear weapons is difficult to accept if under the thumb of Mr. Trump, the plutonian.

Pluto Gone Wild, Trump Off the Leash!

Now we must put a double emphasis on the condition of Mr. Trump's natal Pluto in egotistical Leo since Pluto is out-of-bounds as well as unaspected. When OOBs, Pluto embodies the lawless, mold-breaking, zaniness of an OOBs planet along with an outside-the-box style of thinking and speaking that breaks boundaries and cannot be under anyone's control. Pluto grabs power (and publicity) and we don't need Astrology to tell us that this describes Mr. Trump to a T.

However, disturbingly for our country, an OOBs Pluto, archetypal god of the Underworld, may also indicate one who is a sociopath and/or a criminal, particularly in the Leonine realm of gold and finances. So perhaps there is more to the infrequent whispers of mafia ties than have so far been revealed (edit 5/30/18: yes! Russian mobster ties and money laundering in which I include China and Arab countries Trump's natal Jupiter-Neptune pairing is the sign of a speculator). Certainly his oppressive business dealings are in the news via contractors and others who have worked for him but not not been paid, plus, the tax avoidance made possible by laws that favor the wealthy--legal, yes, but anti-societal and hypocritical of him. And the primal violence of Pluto has been part of his campaign--even to the point of hinting at Second Amendment gun violence as an antidote to certain problems via Pluto, the assassin, aided by aggressor Mars (edit 5/30/18: his enraged Mars rising).

In 2nd house you see the current Solar Eclipse of February 15, 2018 (27AQ07) in the 1 South Saros Series (flooded with ideas or options--Brady) where karmic progress can be made, and the last lunation, the Syzygy Moon @11Vir22 in the corporate 8th house as is the North Node of future direction. 2018 Trump SOTU aftermath

During last evening's Trump SOTU Address, the PolitiFact server crashed as Americans fact checked Mr. Trump's remarks. His SOTU wasn't as depressing a speech as his Inaugural Address of January 20, 2017 but a 69% 'mostly false or pants-on-fire' rating in the truth department gives a majority of us little to crow over concerning last night's SOTU, the policies Trump touted, or the credit he erroneously assumed as his own (better economic and jobs numbers belong to Barack Obama).

Of course in Astrology, falsehoods (aka, lies) are the province of nebulous Neptune and with America's natal Neptune @23Virgo rising last evening at 9:00 pm est, a 69% rating for lack of accuracy can be no surprise. Even the US natal Mars, which problematically squares US Neptune, at Midheaven is in the dual and duplicity sign of Gemini and is conjoined by Donald Trump's natal Sun, also at SOTU Midheaven as he began his address. This put Trump's natal Moon-South Node conjunction at the IC of the SOTU chart along with starry Ras Alhague as you can see here. Note that the 29-degree chart-and-speech ruler Mercury applies to no other planets so Trump's 2018 SOTU address is likely to have little if any substantial impact. Perhaps the Neptune rising effect has something to do with it for the nebulous speech had no details, only wishful touting and, of course, the usual Trump boasting (propaganda).

All in all, last evening's SOTU with US Neptune rising square US Mars at MC served to place on the world stage Washington's warmongering and our national tendencies toward self-delusion, unreliability, and misdirected action. Am I crowing yet?

Nope I am not. And in retrospect, it seems that America's natal Neptune square Trump's Sun-Moon opposition was always going to be an unstable, illusory connection full of deception and unreliability. In Mundane Astrology, the Sun-Moon duo can represent such concepts as: pessimism flowing through the population, reading the attitude of the people while making public policy, national will forcefully imposed by leadership, and/or a loss of face in international politics. Well, Mr. Trump has not been shy about achieving that last one for it seems to be one of his primary goals.

In light of the many posts published here the last two years concerning the intellectually challenged, emotionally driven (natal Moon conjunct South Node conjunct Ras Alhague) Donald Trump, this post is a shout-out to the new book The Dangerous Case of Donald Trump compiled by two dozen psychiatrists and psychologists and made ethically necessary for the sake of our country due to their professional duty to warn.

Today the book is trending number 3 on Amazon's Best Seller list. Yet alternately, voters on November 8, 2016 could have simply listened to the multiple warnings concerning this unfit-for-office moronic bully (Leo Mars rising with royal Regulus, 'the king') which were repeatedly provided the American public by mundane and other astrologers.

After all, the Jupiterian Mr. Trump is his 10th house oriental Uranus, planet of chaos, shocks, disruption, and radical reforms (see link, below), a know-nothing who cares not at all for the unintended consequences of his poorly thought out plans and quixotic notions that are intended to boost his reputation, keep his name trending atop the 24/7 news cycle, and further line his off-shored pockets.

Beware Lady Kremlin Lawyers

On July 9, 2017 The New Yorker published The Truth Behind Donald Trump Jr's Meeting with a Russian Lawyer. Meanwhile, I'm still searching for an accurate birth time for Jr., a fellow some call the 'Fredo' of the Trump family.

Trump Jr's recently disclosed meeting with a Kremlin lawyer who allegedly had 'dirt' on Hillary Clinton to share in order to 'help' the Trump campaign took place in New York at Trump Tower and was also attended by the Trump campaign's Paul Manafort and Jared Kushner, the son-in-law and senior adviser to Mr. Trump in the White House.

Astrology as Lens: Outer Planets = June 9, 2016

A chart factor of note when looking for significators of a meeting on a certain date is planets conjoining (meeting) and when we peek back at June 9, 2016 ('noon'; exact hour unknown at this point) we find two indicators of encounters--in mid-Virgo, Jupiter conjunct North Node (a joining point of encounter), and a close Sun-Venus conjunction @19Gemini14/59 with Venus possibly the lady lawyer involved. Both Jupiter and Sun can represent a leader like Mr. Trump with astrological Jupiter adding money, corporate, and political facets to the picture, and of course, both planets can signify father and authority.

That Trump Jr, possibly represented here by Mercury @25Taurus or the opposing Mars @25Scorpio Rx (their opposition conjunct Trump Sr's MC-IC axis!!) said his Dad did not attend the June 9, 2016 meeting seems doubtful since both Jupiter and the Sun were 'meeting' with someone that day which happens to be the first day Mr. Trump began tweeting about Mrs. Clinton's 33,000 'missing' emails (that he publicly asked Russia to locate via hacking). Besides, Mr. Trump is known to be a micro-manager which makes it doubtful that he didn't at least know about the meeting in Trump Tower and may have ordered it.

In the bi-wheel chart, below, you see circled in red the strongest contacts between Trump Sr and his namesake son including Jr's Saturn Rx @00Vir10 which conjoins his dad's natal Ascendant with Trump's rising Mars @26Leo nearby. And of course, there's royal Regulus @00Virgo sparkling among their Mars-Saturn-ASC trio and cautioning them to avoid taking revenge against others lest they lose what they've gained so far.

Significantly, the issues we see now in the news may be merely a warm up for the effects of the August 21, 2017 Total Solar Eclipse @29Leo (conjunct their Mars-Saturn-ASC trio and Regulus), aka, The Great American Eclipse. Will Mr. Trump the Elder be implicated more fully in Jr's Kremlin lawyer meeting? Well, Donald Trump's natal 10th house Uranus-NN-Sun trio in Gemini (17-23Gem) was activated on June 9, 2016 by the 'visiting' Sun-Venus conjunction, another suggestion of encounters. Perhaps the reported email chain of their discussions about the seemingly shady meeting will reveal some actual facts!

Now is it curious that the July 9th Full Moon @17Cap09 conjunct spying saboteur Pluto on Sunday, the day Donald Jr spoke up about his meeting, is an astrological echo of the RNC 2016 Full Moon which illuminated--met with--America's natal Pluto?

Now as you know, a Mars Return chart symbolizes a new 2-year cycle of energy and activity underway and in this chart we see a cluster of trines forming a double Kite pattern of high-flying success. However, an undermining Sun-Neptune opposition is problematic plus, simultaneously transit Neptune @12Pisces remains in a masking relationship with US SP (progressed) Sun (POTUS) which suggests Mr. Trump's ongoing issues of paranoia, fanaticism, vagueness, deception, cover-up, illusions, pretense, an image of confusion, doubt, and disappointment--and, perhaps above all--scandal (real or manufactured). Yes, foggy Neptune is the "cloud" surrounding Mr. Trump and his White House minions. In addition, astrological Neptune represents both the media and the masses with propaganda and 'fake news' tossed in as deceptive tools to use and hide behind even as certain status quo forces attempt to unmask him and the rest of his crew who apparently have foreign ties and financial and/or political conflicts of interest.

Mr. Trump's current difficulties are also seen through transit Saturn @21Sag12, the taskmaster and lesson-bringer, again hitting Trump's natal Moon which conjoins his natal South Node and this transit we have discussed in previous posts (see link, below). Here, the 5th house of Risk-Taking, Creative Pursuits, and Children are spotlighted with possible separation themes (Saturn-SN; Moon = family and/or security concerns). In the 5th house, transit Moon @29Sag is in a critical state (29th degree) yet if we round up we find "The Pope Blessing the Faithful" (30Sag). Plus, the 5/11 axis holds an intercepted Gem-Sag polarity where Mr. Trump's natal Full Moon (Sun-NN/Moon-SN) has been accustomed to exercising free will while indulging his every whim as CEO.

But in the role of US president (which he admitted he thought would be "easier"), restrictions apply which, beside a security need for isolation, have included legal judgments--and triggered our traditional form of government with its checks and balances meant to keep a monarchical presidency in line. For as a political pundit stated recently, Donald Trump "doesn't own the US government", he's only a "caretaker." (Note that Alphard tends toward legal troubles and Trump's contentious Mars only adds energy and a sense of retaliation to his quarrels--legal, political, and personal; the 'poisoning' of or by Alphard may be vicious and malicious--and there's nearby Regulus, always tempted to take revenge).

Why, even astrological Venus can be vengeful, envious, and full of spite especially when scorned and here, she rises in Leo and suggests that dealings with valuable things, currency evaluation (or devaluation), luxury items, diplomacy, and/or relationships are on the White House agenda. Ruling the 4th house (via Libra, the Scales of Justice), legalities are suggested along with 4th house concerns such as security needs ('travel bans'? 'the wall'?), Real Estate (emoluments for Trump's properties? other?), Mining (coal?), and/or Endings, possibly through a Draining of Resources.

Mars Trine Uranus (1A26): Quirky Actions Bring Unexpected Results; Groups & Travel Are Favored

Now a bright spotlight is cast upon the Return 2nd house with Mars, Mercury, and Sun therein, plus, the 10th house contains Uranus Rx stirring things up; other areas most likely to be affected over the next two years by Mr. Trump's 2017 cycle of Mars (which must include Alphard) are the 5th house (penetrating Mars ruling Scorpio) and again, the 10th house of Career/Public Status/World Stage with Mars-ruled Aries on the cusp (MC), and as noted, unpredictable Uranus Rx @28Ari12 there acting as a tail of a complex Kite. Fortunate Jupiter conjoins the IC of the Return chart but from the 3rd house side (Communications galore) and has recently participated in Mr. Trump's 3rd of 3 Jupiter Returns (see August 4, below).

Of course, Uranus in Aries symbolizes blind zealots and Utopian anarchists (Ebertin) and maverick Mr. Trump's natal planets are lead by his quixotic Uranus in Gemini, also in natal 10th house as part of his natal Uranus-NN-Sun trio.

Then as you see, his Mars Return 2017 Mercury @00Vir12, the deal maker and communicator, is retrograde (reviews and delays?) in 2nd house and conjoins royal Regulus (caution: success if revenge is avoided). Plus, you know that Donald Trump's natal Ascendant (his nibs himself) conjoins Regulus, the king or kingmaker star so issues of a fragile ego and his ego-driven goals remain a focus for the self-important and very sensitive Mr. Trump (Mars rising in Sun-ruled Leo) who makes everything about himself--for he is the planet around which the world revolves.

Themes of his 2 Old North Prenatal Solar Eclipse (PE) are listed along with certain conjunctions to US natal planets, and other factors such as his birth on the day of a Total Lunar Eclipse @23Sag04, and his PE repeating on July 13, 2018 at a critical degree (20Cancer) which will emphasize his 2 Old North's basic themes beginning in early July 2018 and lead directly into the August 11, 2018 Solar Eclipse @19Leo (2 New North) with themes of 'sudden collapse of an existing structure' and 'lifestyle collapse' (B. Brady) - themes which hauntingly echo Tarot card number 16: The Tower:

Eclipses of a Gilded Trump Tower

Perhaps you're a bit curious about Trump Tower. Construction began in 1979, a year of two solar eclipses: 1. Feb 26, 1979 @7Pisces in the 17 South Saros Series--'sudden success with group projects and/or relationships', and 2.August 22, 1979 @29Leo in the 18 North Series--'high stress level, a taxing of strength, large expenditures of effort, accidents or illness' (there were accidents and deaths during construction, if memory serves--it has 58 stories though the top floor is numbered '68'). As I type (June 11, 2017), note that we're currently under the influence of a 19 South Solar Eclipse which manifested on February 26, 2017 @8Pisces.

You'll also note that the 18 North eclipse @29Leo is at the same degree as the Total Great American Eclipse of August 21, 2017 we're all waiting to view which suggests resonance on a Leonine level (cautions against pride, vainglory, egotism, pomposity, bragging, 'showboating'), plus, a 29th degree suggests impatience of some sort--and conjoins the natal Ascendant of Donald Trump (29Leo) and royal Regulus (caution: success if revenge is avoided--otherwise, all gains will be taken away).

Now the PE of Trump Tower, which opened on November 30, 1983 (with a gilded flourish, no doubt) is the 3 North Series which manifested on June 11, 1983 @20Gemini (conjunct Mr. Trump's natal North Node (20Gem48) and snugged betwixt his natal Uranus (17Gem53) and natal Sun (22Gem55) in his 10th house of Public Status and Career. Plus, America's natal Mars 22Gemini is tucked in there somewhere.

3 North themes are of an 'over-excessive' series, news that transforms a situation and causes worry and obsession, undertaking large plans that work out successfully as long as one doesn't get carried away' (paraphrasing Predictive Astrology, B. Brady). 3 North last manifested on the day of Summer Solstice 2001 at Cardinal World Point 00Cancer and is the Prenatal Eclipse Series of the WTC ('Twin Towers') attacks of 9/11/01. A 3 North solar eclipse next occurs on July 2, 2019 (in time for America's birthday) @11Cancer.

Donald Trump Is a Lunar Eclipse Baby!

Donald J. Trump: Followed by a 'Moon Shadow'

Mr. Donald J. Trump was born on June 14, 1946 at 10:54 am edt in Queens, New York. As the Cosmos would have it, a Lunar Eclipse perfected that very day at 2:41:36 pm edt @23Sag04 making him an 'eclipse baby'. As you see in the Lunar Eclipse horoscope, the Moon opposes the 24Gem04 Sun and represents a culmination phase to his Prenatal Solar Eclipse of May 30, 1946 @8Gem48 in the 2 Old North Saros Series (endings and separations--Brady) which conjoins America's natal Uranus (8:55).

Below, you see the Lunar Eclipse chart on the day of his birth; please enlarge to read some basic notes concerning Mr. Trump, an "eclipse baby" with unconscious, inherited habits and attitudes that are difficult (impossible, apparently) for him to recognize in himself which then makes it impossible for him to improve upon such habits--even the ones that are no longer practical in the here-and-now or that fail to lead to the results he wants:

Having quirky maverick Uranus in opposition to the eclipse Moon increases the chances of disruption in all things lunar: home, family, relationships, public relations, emotional security. As we've seen, the man is always ready for a fight (Mars rising) and likes to stir up trouble even where none exists. These qualities are in addition to his 2 Old North Solar Eclipse themes which already denote separations and the endings of unions. Then his Sagittarian Moon suggests a changeable nature that can be moody and superficial, and can fall suddenly into despondency when negatively triggered.

As you know, a Sag Moon can be egotistical, arrogant, narrow-minded, sectarian, and may think it's superior to everyone else. Identifying with certain social values for unconscious emotional reasons, Mr. Trump lacks objectivity when considering social issues and though he aspires to lofty goals, he lacks a realistic view of life.

Mommy issues at birth and later on are also suggested here with an out-of-bounds Moon (was Mum emotionally detached from little Donny? or perhaps ill or absent?) which conjoins the separative South Node (of the Moon). His Moon-SN also hints at bad timing and difficulty contacting his emotions. Thinking, dealing Mercury and manipulative power broker and Underworld figure Pluto, the saboteur, are also OOBs of the earthly plane and off doing who knows what with their qualities functioning quite unconsciously for Mr. Trump who is susceptible to his unconscious and needy lunar issues--so desperate for approval and respect.

Now as you see, the houses of his planets in the Lunar Eclipse chart differ from those of his natal horoscope and my suggestion is to read this chart 'as if' it's his natal chart (which it almost is--same day) to gain more insight for it is certainly of influence. Here the Moon rules his 10th house of Career and Public Status and the sign of one's Moon signifies the reigning need (Tyl) which, for Donald Trump, means Jupiter-ruled Sagittarian themes such as freedom, wanderlust, idealism, expansion, the broadening of vistas, and boundary crossing. So he deals with the difficult Gemini Solar Eclipse themes in his life through the lens of Sagittarius via the energies of this particular Lunar Eclipse. And since the Lunar Eclipse is in the 3rd house of Communications, we both know how keen he is on expressing himself without boundaries or restraints: in speeches and rallies, and in tweets to the world (no middle men).

Karmic planet Saturn now transits through Sagittarius and visits off and on this Lunar Eclipse degree. Simultaneously, Saturn contacts fixed stars Ras Alhague and Lesath which are triggered (22--24Sag) and made prominent by their conjunction with Trump's Prenatal Lunar Eclipse. Actually, we've discussed Mr. Trump's Moon-SN-Ras Alhague trio and Saturn's visitation previously but the keywords for Lesath (Upsilon Scorpii; sting of the scorpion's tail) should be noted: potential for accidents, catastrophes, or surgeries such as appendectomies or hemorrhoid removal (Ebertin-Hoffmann); acids, danger, desperation, immorality (deVore).

Now along with his out-of-bounds Mercury (what will he say or tweet next?), this Lunar Eclipse chart describes only a part of the complex psyche now residing (part time) in the White House but it can reveal some of the unconscious urges, habits, and attitudes that are 'in control' of our nation at the present time. Those born with major links to eclipses lead eventful and often public lives and I believe eclipse baby Trump's Lunar Eclipse chart tells of a broadcaster and promoter of Jupiterian proportions who does not, or is unable to, realize just how much unconscious information he shares with the world (gives away) each time he opens his mouth or tweets his thoughts at us. His deeper motivations are not as hidden as he believes, and to cap it all, Mr. Trump's fantasy-prone loose-lips/indiscretion tendencies are ably described by a problematic Mercury-Neptune square with its deceit, cunning, and mis-perceptions of a *sneaky mind.

*Mercury-Neptune square = The Sneaky Mind--Alan Oken. He adds that, "A conscious redirection on the part of the individual can result in a realignment of this or any other challenging aspect." Yet an ability for conscious redirection is what's difficult to impossible for Mr. Trump whose level of self-awareness at age 70 is seriously in doubt and must unfortunately affect our nation with what some say is his lunacy. Lunacy! Something that ramps up, say police departments, on a Full Moon!

However, there is a professional opinion that Trump Isn't Crazy so to be fair, there's that.

Still, it turns out that Strange Things Do Happen at a Full Moon...and on June 14, 1946, one of those strange things was the birth of the very intense Donald J. Trump, an inflated Jupiterian of vast proportions who jumps from the skillet into the fire at every opportunity which keeps the 24/7 news cycle on its toes.

Well, just for the sake of curiosity, where was asteroid Cupido (The Family; The Syndicate;Corporatism) when the non-religious, delusional never-asked-forgiveness-because-I've-never-sinned Mr. Trump was born? In quite a pile-up with his natal Moon, South Node (of the Moon), asteroid Lilith, and Hopi Prophecy star, Ras Alhague @22Sagittarius.

VP-elect Mike Pence was born with Cupido (which can also signify romance similar to asteroid Eros) retrograde @26Lib11. Curiosity mildly satisfied. Concern unmitigated. Wonder how soon Sunday worship will be regimented into effect?

Natal Charts Reveal Differences Between the Republican Party and Nominee Trump; Schultz and Nichols Discuss GOP Coup and the Party's 2016 Nominee

With much confusion reigning these days between Donald Trump and the Republican Party, can a brief comparison of their natal horoscopes reveal the whys and wherefores? Below is a brief list of chart factors between them which describe, I believe, at least some of their difficulties.

And please check out the October 13th video of progressive broadcaster Ed Schultz speaking with The Nation's Washington correspondent John Nichols concerning troubles within the Republican Party and the Party's issues with its own 2016 nominee Donald Trump.

A bi-wheel image of the natal charts of the Republican Party and Mr. Trump shows some of the planets and points between the two that conjoin although opposing planets reveal some of the turbulence between them. (Remember earlier in the 2016 campaign when 'Trump is not a Republican' was a prominent talking point heard regularly in the news?)

Yes, both entities have the same Sagittarian Moon position which conjoins Trump's natal South Node of neurotic behavior and (Saturnian) separation! Fixed star Ras Alhague is also there (see 'Sapphire Star' post, linked below). But as current political events (to endorse or not to endorse, that is the Q) confuse, we see the nominee's natal Neptune (5Libra50 Rx) rising in the Party's chart (ASC 4Lib23) in opposition to the Party's natal Mercury (5Ari18 Rx) suggesting misunderstandings, confusion, deception, illusions, errors, and loss. This condition is worsened by the fact that Trump was born with a Mercury-Neptune square of distorted perceptions, gossip, and a problematic relationship with the truth.

With Mercury square Neptune, discreet he is not yet this relates to what so many Trump supporters admire: that he 'tells it like it is' (or, how he and they think it is). Well, at least some of his observations are correct enough to discomfit The Establishment and the GOP hierarchy (and Democrats!) as Mr. Trump inconveniently reveals information that Washington is desperate to keep hidden from the masses.

A second factor of note is the Mars-Ascendant-Mars trio at the end of Leo (conjunct royal star Regulus, the king-maker) and the Party's natal Mars @00Virgo21 Rx in the 12th house of Karma, Self-Undoing, and Politics. Mars also acts as a Bucket handle for the GOP with Mars in Virgo exploiting every situation and criticizing every opponent. Meanwhile, Trump's chart shows a Bowl shape of planets with quirky rebel Uranus leading in Gemini, sign of deals and commerce. This denotes one who is a 'convincing' orator who scatters his energies. Plus, as you know, Gemini and Virgo square one another though both signs are ruled by shape-shifting Mercury who knows a lot about lying.

Let's close with another chart factor which is penned across the top of the image: the Republican Party's Pre-Natal Eclipse (PE) @8Sag33 and Donald Trump's Pre-Natal Eclipse @8Gemini48 precisely opposing one another--and both eclipses have themes of 'endings, partings, separations' attached. Plus, Trump's PE is also his Syzygy Moon (last lunation prior to birth) which emphasizes the importance of his eclipse--and 8Gemini55 is the position of America's 1776 'totem' Revolution planet of radical reforms, chaos, and disruption, Uranus (also a planet of separation).

So in charts from 1854 and 1946, the degree range of 8/9 Gemini-Sagittarius spotlights fixed stars Aldebaran (success through integrity) and warring Antares (obsessed with success) as the Republicans attempt to win the White House (and down-ticket slots) on November 8, 2016 (not November 28th, Mr. Trump!) with their candidate constantly making headlines that simultaneously offend and distance large groups of American voters.

And yet...Nationalism promoter and protectionist Mr. Trump does talk big against the New World Order globalists, doesn't he? As if he alone would be able to act on America's behalf and grasp control of the transnational banking syndicate that he himself has taken huge loans from! Perhaps someone should tell him that the role of US president has become more of a facade of power in the world than it is the real thing.

Donald Trump: natal Moon and the Sapphire Star

Are you familiar with the Star Sapphire gem? Certainly you've seen the stone's 6-pointed star which appears when tilted in direct lighting. Actually, there's a fixed star in the heavens, Ras Alhague, that is sometimes called The Sapphire Star and it conjoins the natal Moon (21Sag12) of GOP nominee Donald Trump who is to deliver his acceptance speech tonight at the RNC (timed with a US Moon Return!) Naturally, a 6-pointed star evokes the recent controversy of Trump's anti-Hillary Twitter graphic featuring a red 6-pointed star of David (as some insisted it was) and a pile of money. Hillary's corruption was asserted.

As you know, the Clinton campaign labeled the graphic "blatantly anti-Semitic" but Trump's point was made, if retracted later.

Since Mr. Trump announced his candidacy on June 16, 2015, many astrologers have emphasized his brash but entertaining Leo Mars rising with royal star Regulus on a 29th degree Ascendant--and rightly so (note that 'sun god' Apollo also rises in his chart and psyche). We hear this huge cosmic punch in his bombastic rhetoric and his apparently overflowing self-confidence that only consults itself when making decisions. He's his own best adviser and has 'never' made a mistake! And if Mr. Trump ever thinks of a sin he's committed, he'll speak to God about it, don't worry.

Yet when the reigning need (Tyl) shown by Trump's natal Moon is considered, a picture of inferior feelings comes into focus. Well, this is typical of human beings, isn't it? The more bragging a person does, the less self-esteem is hidden underneath, right? Mr. Trump constantly projects bad traits onto others ("disgusting!") in an attempt to deflect such criticism from himself, another habit many of us may commmit in our private if not public moments.

Plus, both political parties attempt to project and deflect all the time--always have. Remember when Trump said, "these are bad bad people"...stressing the 'bad bad'. This occurred during a March 2016 Trump rally, the one where police arrested protesters outside and pepper sprayed them. Perhaps he thinks that no one is allowed to disrupt when Trump is speaking with royal Regulus rising along with his aggressive Mars! The free speech of others must take a backseat when he's pontificating, of course.

So what's the cosmic condition of Mr. Trump's emotional, intuitive Moon in Sagittarius conjunct Ras Alhague, the sapphire star? First we note a Jupiterian influence through the sign of the Moon, something we may observe in the natal charts of some politicians--the mother told me I can be president when I grow up! expectation of grandeur (ex: George W. Bush). And for Donald Trump, mother was a strong influence (unconsciously) since his Moon is in natal 4th house, the Moon's natural realm (Cancer) of Home, Psychological Home, Family, Domestic Scene, and one's native land. With Moon in 4th, a picture of tribalism also comes to mind as well and his public expressions of love of home and family are heard frequently.

(Yes, dad affects his opposite house, the 10th house of Career and Public Status, in Gemini for he was born just before a Full Moon; also in 10th are quirky, disruptive Uranus @17Gem53 and the North Node of destiny @20Gem48--that's North Node of the Moon so he has a Moon-South Node conjunction opposite a Sun-North Node conjunction and must feel he's living a fated life as eclipse-born folk tend to do. That his Moon (mother) conjoins the Saturnian SN denotes some separation issues from the mother (Saturn = father) or the nuturing parent but Sun and Moon on the Nodal axis details would require a post of their own.)

Now you know that starry Ras Alhague (Alpha Ophiuchi) has links to healing and attempts to create balance but in the sky it's located in the Head of the Snake Charmer and has Saturnian, Neptunian, and negative Venusian qualities. You've probably heard him referred to as a 'snake oil salesman' by detractors!

Some influences of Ras Alhague when connected to planets or points, or on angles of a natal chart, are: a proneness to infections, epidemics, or toxins (especially when conjoining the Moon as it does for Mr. Trump), assaults by rabid animals, a tendency toward medical or hallucinatory drugs (probably medical only), and/or overindulgence with food and drink (Ebertin-Hoffmann). To this, Brady adds: teaching, wounding, and repairing that which is damaged. The snake symbol of The Healer (Caduceus) lies underneath the meaning of this star but astrologically we know that the healing energy can go from or toward Mr. Trump for he may be the one who needs healing.

He's certainly promising restoration and regeneration for America and the US economy!

Symbols of the Moon

As for symbols of his Moon degree, we can round-up to 22Sag or use the actual degree of his Moon (21Sag) which denotes a point of karmic confrontation. Let's consider the Sabian Symbols as given by Marc Edmund Jones and then add Adriano Carelli's degrees:

21Sag: "A Child and a Dog with Borrowed Eye Glasses" (the way Trump squints I've wondered if he needs glasses but is too vain to wear them in public!)...EXAMINATION; positive expression: an exceptional skill in the analysis of personal opportunity throughout the many dimensions of experience; negative/unconscious: distorted vision and self-defeating prejudice.

22Sag: "A Chinese Laundry"...SECLUSION; positive: an unusual gift for maintaining poise and self-perspective in every unfamiliar or alien situation; negative/unconscious: unnecessary acceptance of self-inferiority. There's much to say about this symbol since Mr. Trump has dealings with foreign countries like China, Russia, and Germany (huge Deustche Bank loans) and a potential implication of money laundering (perhaps drug trafficking via Ras Alhague? if so, he wouldn't be the first politician to profit from that, now would he?)

Now with excerpts from Adriano Carelli's The 360 Degrees of the Zodiac, things become really curious:

21Sag: "The six-pointed star, or David's seal"..."--picturing in the most dramatic way the endless dualism of matter against spirit." The degree "clearly attunes the contrasting forces of man's upper and lower being. Any balance may be dynamic or static..."; negatively, this influence "enhances the native's irresoluteness and renders him suspicious of all and everyone."

22Sag: "Two men engaged in a deadly fight..."Here is the perfect embodiment of stubborn and relentless dissension; should other aspects fail to soothe this inflluence, the native would be an unmitigated faultfinder. To listen to him, current public opinion is nonsense {}; the established order is unjust and absurd--nay, this is the worst possibly world {}: whatever idea is conceived by others can be but worthless trash, if for no other reason, because it crossed someone else's mind and must be condemned without trial. Here the native's spirit of wanton denial reaches the freakish height of its childish hideousness. Sound like anyone you know?

Well, I'm only passing along Carelli's words but you've probably heard pundits and comedians refer to punch-em-in-the-nose Donald Trump as a man child. And since emotional maturity or a lack of it can be investigated in a natal chart by studying the Moon's condition, this post is my attempt to do so. But I wish to add that yes, Mr. Trump does possess political talent (stationary Jupiter trine Uranus separating in his natal chart but applying to their trine now by progression) and he does wish to contribute to society (Moon inconjunct Saturn).

Yet it remains to be seen whether his emotions are steady enough (Mars rising) and his distorted thinking and tenuous relationship with facts (Mercury square Neptune) can be restrained and balanced by maturity so that a higher evolutionary road can be taken by this shrewd man who longs to crown his life by playing the archetypal role of plutocrat president just as his Solar Arc Pluto conjoins natal Jupiter @17Libra.

Can 'Sequester' Have a Natal Horoscope?

Here is a natal horoscope I propose for the 'Sequester' based on Bob Woodward's assertion that Jack Lew, now sworn in as Treasury Secretary, and the White House's Ron Nabors presented the 'sequester' idea to Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid on July 27, 2011 at 2:30 pm edt, allegedly as a way to make sure GOP and Democratic legislators acted in a responsible manner concerning their fiscal duties. As you know, they did not. The chart is set for the Capitol Building:

Horoscope: 'Sequester' proposal; Hour of Mercury, in 10th house of Career and Public Status at a critical-crisis 29th degree, conjunct Royal Star Regulus (success if revenge is avoided but it seldom if ever is avoided in Washington DC); Ascendant 14Sco29 indicating that treachery, big business, and transformation are afoot with Mars as chart-ruler and powerful, wealthy Pluto as sub-ruler of the sequester proposal.

Planet Mars 25Gem32 is posited in 8th house of Debt, Credit, Shared Resources, Corporations, and Big Business along with the Moon 26Gem21, both in the sign of duplicity; Mars also rules the 6th house of Military Service, Work, Health, and our Daily Rounds which will be much affected by ham-fisted sequestration cuts as of March 1st, if implemented, due to job losses, unpaid furloughs, and other problems. 'Nice' going, Washington politicians.

Blog Note: today I'm getting the tiresome 'long-running script errors' message more than usual from Blogger so this post is like typing in molasses and will be truncated when my patience runs out!

In 2nd house lies the North Node (NN) of the Moon @22Sag51, ruled by Jupiter and conjunct Fixed Star Ras Alhague which indicates a path of balance-creation in economic matters. Yes, America's lopsided, much-touted "income inequality" could use a better balance but are untargeted sequester cuts a good way to start? There is a proposal in Congress for the president to have discretion in which departments and programs get their funding sliced but some Republicans don't want to give the president "more power"! And so the current transit of powerful Pluto opposing US natal Sun (power struggles) continues as does the rebellious, protesting Uranus-Pluto square, here 1A03, which issues from their Great Conjunction/s of the mid-1960s. And note that yesterday Supreme Court Justice Scalia called Voting Rights (gained in 1965) as being no more than an "entitlement"!

Now let's consider the only applying aspect of chart-ruler Mars for clues what to expect: Mars trine Neptune (4A40) indicating ease of some sort between action/motivation (Mars--also, males) and inspiration but with possibly deceptive practices (Neptune--also, fraud.) Ideals are a major force (motivation) behind actions which are taken behind the scenes and apparently will result in happiness for someone (look at Wall Street--markets are rising high right now which suits the big gamblers, speculators, inside traders, short sellers, and corporate crooks' secret bank accounts.)

Another important chart factor is sequester's Mercury (plans, proposals, deals, agreements, etc) opposing obfuscating Neptune 00Pis12 Rx in 4th house (the Foundation or End of the Matter.) We find in the news many corporate mergers taking place, or wanting to, since at least 2012, and as you know, Neptune is the planet with a strong urge to merge. That US consumers will benefit from big mergers is extremely doubtful. See Inside the World's Biggest Airline Merger.

And don't forget the jolly news that JPMorgan Chase's Jamie Dimon is "richer than you," as he cheekily points out something we already know.

Now when trade and commerce Mercury, a trickster when he takes a notion, opposes veiling, often falsifying Neptune (media, the masses), clear thinking takes a holiday and we seldom 'get what we see' or are shown--here, by Washington. Dangerous ideas swirl about and business activities, negotiations, and financial ventures and proposals are not well favored. Cautious and moderate behavior is advised yet as we've seen since President Obama took office in 2009, certain actors upon the Capitol Hill stage are determined to throw caution to the wind, score ideological points, and dance to the tune of their billionaire tax-avoiding backers who have no loyalty to America, or to The Union of our States. Crashing the US economy (again) and bringing even more suffering to the American people is a small price to pay, they think, for gaining their sorry objectives.

Bitter resentments (Sun inconjunct Pluto), plus, overpromising, manipulation, wheeler-dealing, and truth-bending (Sun square Jupiter) are shown in the horoscope and thus the financial situation as well. And with transit Venus opposing US natal Pluto 27Cap33 Rx (in 2nd house of the National Treasury in our nation's 'Sibly' natal chart), we've been feeling and experiencing the obsession, envy, jealousy, and cut-throat competition this influence 'inspires'. Mistrust riddles alliances and joint ventures as power struggles ensue, plus, the Venus-Pluto pairing relates to matters such as bankruptcy.

Past slights which are unconnected to current conditions blow up the gestures of others into huge grievances (ex: Senators McCain and Graham v. Chuck Hagel as Secretary of Defense, and the general Republican opposition to everything that is Obama)--but of course, Democrats can behave this way, too, as they have in the past. For as 'they' always like to say: payback is Hades.

Last but not least--and possibly the planetary energy 'running way' with the chart of sequestration is an unaspected Saturn 12Lib02 (working alone and unaided--in the 11th house of Groups and Associations!)

As you see from taskmaster and legislator Saturn's degree, the 'sequester' was presented to Harry Reid during the period of America's Saturn Return (14Lib48) which perfected three times on December 3, 2010, March 22, 2011, and August 28, 2011. And July 27, 2011 was mere 6 days after our still-current Mars Return (21Gem22) denoting a new two-year cycle of activity and goal-planning with the cycle beginning on July 21, 2011; our nation's next Mars Return is due on June 30, 2013, just before Independence Day 2013.

The Goal (MC) is apparently related to leadership with Leo at the WHY" Point of the chart, and royal Leo's ruler, the Sun 4Leo23 (the leader) is between President Obama's natal Mercury and Sun in Leo. This seems to support Mr. Woodward's assertion that the idea for 'sequester' cuts originated in the White House. It could also indicate that sequestration cuts 'across the board' are what Washington intended all along, or were thought to be a way to maneuver and maintain control (rulership) of the dialogue concerning their haphazard, play-acting budget negotiations. Do you see the YOD pattern of crisis, special task, and turning point with Pluto sextile Chiron (pluocrats, exploitation, oppression, racism, etc) at its base, pointing toward the Sun (president)?

To me this looks as if white supremacists, international bankers, and other shot-calling corporatists are making punishing demands and pressuring (inconjuncts to Sun) the president to implement austerity and other measures even as Mars conjoins SN (the Tail of The Dragon, a Saturnian point of separation.) Contentious Mars was recently conjoined by the Moon (the public) indicating that austerity is out of harmony with current societal norms and sentiments and will cause more grief than improvement. Austerity measures will not decrease the deficit or lead to job growth!

Additionally, Mars conjunct SN, often a signifier for violence and/or revolution, represents those who act upon their own decisions with no regard for the needs or desires of others. Plus, Moon-Mars denotes hotheads and those who disrupt--here in 8th house matters, as already mentioned.

Well, my patience has worn thin so I'll skip several things I'd like to say and close with the two midpoint pictures you see scribbled on the horoscope, bottom right and bottom left...both involve moneybags Jupiter:

Jupiter-Neptune, the speculator-wastrel-fraudster pair, point to radical utopian Uranus Rx in Mars-ruled Aries in the 5th house of Gambling and Risk-Taking which creates potentials for: reality vs imagination, sudden recognition of a difficult situation, coming down to earth with bump, and/or liking the shades.

Jupiter/NN = Neptune: indecision or vacillation, unreliability, instability, soberness, lack of clarity of objectives when working together. (Tyl; Ebertin.)
