From Khrushchev's Lips to Trump's Wide Girth

When speaking about capitalist states in a speech at the Polish embassy in Moscow on November 18, 1956, Russian de facto leader Nikita Khrushchev famously said, "Whether you like it or not, history is on our side. We will bury you." Since then, the correct translation of his words has been in doubt in various quarters, as noted on the phrase's Wikpedia page.

Later, on August 24, 1963 in a speech he delivered in Yugoslavia, Khrushchev confided, "I once said, 'We will bury you', and I got into trouble with it. Of course we will not bury you with a shovel. Your own working class will bury you." This refers to the Marxist saying, The proletariat is the undertaker of capitalism (a quote from The Communist Manifesto).

Q: Are the January 6, 2021 insurrectionists being described here? We know their sedition campaign to collapse The Establishment, what they call the deep (Neptune) state (Saturn) is ongoing with more to come, so what do you think?

Now I'm pretty certain that if you're reading Stars Over Washington at this moment you know that the Saturn-Neptune duo can represent multiple concepts such as Socialism, Communism, Capitalism, Marxism, and other -isms in political realms along with social safety net programs, ill and poor people, suffering, renunciation, and ascetism. I would add, a strugggle between idealism and materialism, secret government, and the pair's midpoint as the illness axis. (Notably, Trump was born with Saturn-Neptune = Ascendant: oppressive family circumstances.)

To Saturn-Neptune's Probable Manifestations, Reinhold Ebertin adds,

"+ Methodical execution of plans, slow attainment of success through intense activity and great painstaking effort.

- Painful or tormenting emotional inhibitions, undermining circumstances leading to a state of illness, neuroses or diseases with causes difficult to ascertain." (The Combination of Stellar Influences, Ebertin #ad)

And so for your consideration, here's a bi-wheel of America July 4, 1776 5:09 m LMT Philadelphia (inner) surrounded by the next Great Conjunction of Saturn and Neptune on February 20, 2026 conjunct the Aries Point/IC with potentials for illness, wrong thinking, hysteria, and perhaps social safety net program issues which relate, of course, to the old grump about America as a socialist nation taking care of her needy citizens:

Now it's true that not all astrologers use a late afternoon July 4, 1776 Horoscope for America (which at the least symbolizes the date of the Declaration of Independence though not its first vote), but I've found the chart useful through the years with its Cardinal World Points of Global Events conjunct the MC-IC Angles of Why? and How?. So the chart I use in the bi-wheel, above, is set for Philadelphia at 5:09 pm LMT which places the highly significant Aries Point on the Foundation Point (IC).

Penned on the chart is the IC's Sabian Symbol: "A Woman Has Arisen From the Ocean, a Seal Is Embracing Her." Naturally, e pluribus unum and America's Great Seal are suggested - at the Founding of our nation.

Plus, the inner horoscope also shows America's 1776 Saturn and Neptune straddling the Goal, Aspiration, Public Status Point ('MC'; @00Lib47) in the 9th and 10th houses, so the 2026 Conjunction symbolically opposes 1776 Saturn and Neptune, something of a Full Moon phase of culmination, full awareness, and/or fulfillment, if we wish to consider it as such.

And yes, astrologically it's all on the messy side, inexact to be exact, but as "they" always say, the proof will be in the pudding - once or before the next Great Conjunction of Saturn-Neptune rolls around.

Putin Threatens Poland and the World

As most folks know, Ronald Reagan once described the Soviet Union in a 1983 speech as "the evil empire," a label which now, more than ever, conjures images of the Saturn-Pluto planetary pair. At least it does for most astrologers. A few details are available here: Ukraine Crisis, Putin, and Saturn-Pluto. We should note that 22/23Capricorn is considered a degree of governmental authority (N. DeVore) and is the spot in the Zodiac that the current Saturn-Pluto Cycle began on January 12, 2020 (@22:46) - conjunct Trump's natal Vertex of fated encounters.

Saturn-Pluto potentials include, but are not limited to:

Reactionaries; violent people (R. Ebertin); upsets in checks and balances; use of secret or military police; turmoil in older structures; secret preparation for future restrictions (Project 2025?); consideration of ways to remove or destroy (paraphrasing M. Munkasey's Midpoints: Unleashing the Power of the Planets #ad). Obviously, sinister motives are implied and bode ill for civilization, just as another world war would do.

May 2023's Fixed Grand Square: Mars-Pluto-Jupiter

For those who may wish to chance a reading of the following marked-up bi-wheel of DC Horoscopes, kudos! Be brave, because an influential Fixed Grand T-Square of rigid, forceful energies form via a Mars-Pluto opposition across the Leo-AQ self-will axis with transit Jupiter @00Taurus (May 17) becoming the apex planet of the dynamic T-Square of May.

A midpoint picture may be considered as well between the planetary trio with mixed potentials such as 'unusual success, enjoyment of freedom, organizing ability, using extreme measures, publicity, energy and resources to make things happen, and/or the big plan comes into focus' (N. Tyl, R. Ebertin, M. Munkasey). Results from this planetary pattern for the American people will depend on whose 'big plan' is implemented, yes? A kinder Democratic plan or the GOP's sadistic plan of loss of freedoms, barbarism, cruelty, and death.

Now it's true that the Mars-Pluto duo can relate to military and police actions (ex: police state), extreme efforts, and even brutality and primal violence in some cases, all of which now target, or have targeted, American society in a purposeful and violent campaign to destroy or diminish democracy in the US in order to implement the authoritarian agenda favored by seditious 'maga' Republicans - as they follow the instructions of their wealthy domestic and foreign backers, saboteurs all.

Better Call Jupiter, the Great Benefic!

Meanwhile, my personal hope is that apex Jupiter squaring the May 2023 opposition will expand protective functions and moderate the difficult situations, blocking them when necessary, which may be created by the transiting Mars-Pluto opposition, for my objectives via Political Astrology have always been on behalf of the common good and on the promotion of progressive improvements for America and for my fellow Americans - m'peops! And it's worth remembering that the Fixed T-Square's energies, both positive and negative, will pass.

So below is a bi-wheel showing the current Mars-Pluto Cycle (inner chart) which began March 23, 2020 (Covid time of "traumatic transformation" under Trump: his natal Neptune of deception, fraud, contagion at Midheaven, the Goal Point), and the upcoming Mars-Pluto opposition (outer chart) of May 20, 2023 at 11:11:15 pm edt Washington DC (00Leo/AQ16) with 8Cap20 conjunct transit Bacchus Rx rising along with starry Facies (ruthlessness or the victim):

One stand-out factor is that restrictive Saturn @00AQ04 in 2nd hou$e on March 23, 2020 is now affected by the Mars-Pluto opposition of May 20, 2023. Finances seem to be involved in May 2023 (2/8 axis) relating back to Trump 2020 events, and potentials are for 'frustrated goals, those with forceful personalities but limited influence, and/or hard work that usually pays off'. Obviously, mundane Saturn also represents the legal profession (lawyers, judges) along with lawsuits and other legal entanglements, plus, middle management workers.

In Aquarius in 2020, Saturn leaned toward extravagant expectations that led to disappointment, and/or ambitious plans with no real foundation. Positively, Saturn in Aquarius indicates reliable partners, and serious people such as policy wonks and intellectuals with a progressive Aquarian bent. Although we should note that Aquarian energy can be awfully quirky, erratic, and radical when it prefers to be. Plus, with 2023 Pluto conjunct 2020 Saturn, someone's refusal to accept limitations in the past may now be regretted. Is this a reference to Trump's current legal troubles and his recent arraignment in New York and with more charges to come? Lifestyles can be completely transformed under such a Pluto-to-Saturn transit.

But now in Pisces, Saturn conjunct 2020 Mercury in 3rd house, denotes 'struggles with opponents' (R. Ebertin), and conjunct Mercury suggests restrictions on relationships with young people such as students: loss of life in schools due to firearms follows Trump's 2017 inaugural-address threat of "American carnage." Plus, Saturn to Mercury also relates to the current book banning craze of the Republican Party along with their attempts to limit free speech and ideas in America despite the US Constitution.

Note: And if we're feeling quirky enough, we could consider the May 2023 Mars-Pluto opposition in similar fashion to "unbirthdays" which occur 6 months after a birth (or event) date, the halfway mark, when goals should be reassessed and courses changed in order to improve the odds that objectives can be reached going forward. Just a thought!

Significant to the May 2023 T-Square pattern is that 00AQ+ is the January 20th position of US Inaugural Sun (POTUS' Oath of Office, the presidency) and also the position of the current Jupiter-Saturn Cycle which began @00AQ29 on December 21, 2020 (also under Trump), a cosmic signal of a new order starting (a 20-year cycle), and the planetary pair signifying government officials. Then with transit Pluto hitting this degree (00AQ), there are potentials for 'immense efforts, restrictions, separation, and/or violent changes (R.E.). Noel Tyl adds, "major changes; fearlessness; tremendous perseverance; and/or control of the situation".

As for the Fixed Grand T-Square, its energies work out more easily than Fixed Grand Crosses which have a fourth planet involved which complicates matters.

May 2023 Fixed Grand T-Square Implications in Society

Determination to succeed at any cost relates directly to current conditions and actions of saboteurs and malcontents in US society, as you know, with democracy vs fascism, a constant stalemate between liberals and Democrats, and Republicans-turned-fascists, a turn-about no longer hidden beneath the GOP's "compassionate conservatism" slogan of their former political days.

Values are tested with Fixed Grand Squares, and a powerful urge exists to keep hold of possessions (the way the power elite and wealthy classes do - they don't like to share). Obsessions lead to stalemate situations as rigid demands tend to block the demands and needs of other people (debt ceiling stand-off?). Yes, the pattern's fixed energies provide enormous staying power (stubborness) and the emotional stamina to withstand setbacks without giving up. This refers, of course, to both sides of a stalemate. A singe-minded approach expresses within the Collective as goal-oriented folks use these energies for their particular purposes.

Meanwhile, as apex planet and catalyst of the Fixed Grand T-Square, Jupiter must use moderate pressure and common sense upon the Mars-Pluto opposition to effect best results in a variety of situations while taking baby steps of diplomacy toward resolution.

Now all or any of these indications may be cosmic descriptions of Russia's war in Ukraine, and/or other violent conflicts, but for the sake of this post's brevity, that would be another post for a different day.

Guest Post: Does Putin Own An iPhone?

“Hey Siri… Does Vladimir Putin own an iPhone?”

I didn’t ask Siri that question, but if I ventured a guess the answer would be “Yes” mostly because those antique beige phones one always sees on Putin’s presidential desk look like dusty old props put there for show. Then again, the chances of anyone wanting to FaceTime with Vlad (other than maybe one particular former US President) are quite low, making said dusty props a reasonable alternative to owning an iPhone.

Another reason Putin might shy away from all things Apple relates to CEO Tim Cook who came out as gay in 2014; a public admission which conflicted directly with Vlad’s 2013 homophobic law against the spread of “gay propaganda” amongst youth resulting in the prompt removal of an iPhone-shaped memorial to Steve Jobs in the Russian city of St. Petersburg. For the record, Steve Jobs was not gay, so removing his memorial did pretty much nothing except delete a piece of public art from view (I wonder where that 6-foot metal iPhone is now and what they put in its place).

There are other three other questions I would like to ask - not Siri mind you but - Apple’s CEO Tim Cook:

1) “Was it illegal for Russia to annex Crimea in 2014?”

and,

2) “Why did Apple (despite presumably knowing the illegality of said annexation per international law) choose to amend their Map and Weather Apps in 2019 to show Crimea as being part of Russia?”

and most importantly,

3) “Will Apple amend their Map and Weather Apps to show ALL of Ukraine as being part of Russia now that it’s been invaded in a fashion similar to Crimea?”

Given that Tim Cook isn’t on my speed dial, I’ll attempt a brief answer to Question #1 which is quite simply “Yes, the annexation of Crimea was illegal AF”. One needn’t be an international attorney, political scientist, or historian to make that determination and as luck has it, I’m none of those things*. What I am, however, is someone who’s keenly interested in trying to reverse engineer Apple’s blatant (not to mention politically and morally incorrect) decision to amend their apps in an effort to appease someone or something in Russia. Given Putin’s open dislike for Tim Cook’s sexual orientation and the collateral damage to the Steve Jobs memorial, it’s unlikely there’s enough bruh love between Apple and Vlad to inspire the app amendments. For now, let’s just say it’s not likely, but not impossible that the App changes were made solely for Putin’s sake.

If I were to speculate on answering Questions #2 and #3, my initial thought goes to money as in - How much annual revenue does Russia represent to Apple? The answer is… very little. Despite the fact that Apple sold 32 million iPhones in Russia last year equaling $2.5 billion dollars (less than 1% of Apple’s global revenue); they are only the third most popular phone in the country at 15% market share far behind Samsung (34%) and Xiaomi (26%). Another possibility is the growing value of Apple Pay as a competitor to Visa and MasterCard in Russia, but there’s no viable way for me to quantify the monetary value it represents to Apple.

Perhaps there are some clues to be found by looking at the recent history between Russia and Ukraine.

The 2014 Russian invasion and subsequent occupation of the Crimean Peninsula of Ukraine’s sovereign territory has been widely condemned by the global community of nations as being a violation of extant international law. Despite Russia’s referendum to validate their illegal annexation of Crimea, the United Nations General Assembly immediately adopted a resolution to affirm the "territorial integrity of Ukraine within its internationally recognized borders" and which "underscores that the referendum having no validity, cannot form the basis for any alteration of the status of [Crimea]" and further called upon all member states and international organizations (yes Apple, I’m looking at you) to NOT recognize or even imply the recognition of Russia's annexation.

Well, somebody in Apple’s legal department obviously didn’t get the UN memo on Ukraine because they (international organization if ever there was one) went ahead and recognized Crimea as being Russian territory when they amended their Map and Weather Apps to show it that way. Granted, these changes only appear when one is using an Apple device in Russia, but nevertheless it demonstrates the Kremlin’s sway over at least one American megacorporation. This is a good time to point out that purchasing a cell phone in Russia is verboten unless it comes with pre-installed mandatory government software which is put there ostensibly to help users interface with their devices. You can go ahead and guess what else that mandatory software might be used for. But I’ve digressed…

In addition to violating accepted international law, Russia’s annexation of Crimea breached numerous agreements which it signed over the years safeguarding the territorial integrity of Ukraine including,

The 1975 Helsinki Accords – for those who know the name but don’t recall exactly what it is; the accords were a non-binding agreement between 35 signatory nations to recognize the inviolability of the post-World War II boundaries in Europe and which pledged said nations to mutual respect of human rights, fundamental freedoms and further to cooperate in economic, scientific, humanitarian, and other areas of common interest.

The 1991 Belovezh Accords – also known as the Belavezh Accords, Belovezha Accords, Belavezha Agreement, Belovezhskaya Accord, Belaya Vezha Accord, etc, due to numerous translations and transliterations. So, what exactly did this multi-monikered agreement do and more importantly who agreed to it?

If you were lucky enough to be taking an elementary school geography test before 1991, you’d have identified the U.S.S.R. (Union of Soviet Socialist Republics) as a large amorphous blob east of Poland and Finland shaped somewhat like the port wine stain on Mikhail Gorbachev’s forehead (needs substantiation but just go with me on this).

However, what appeared to be a single nation was actually a country composed of numerous smaller republics which were homes to distinct ethnic groups including: Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Lithuania, Estonia, Georgia, Latvia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Molodova, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Chechnya, Gagauzia, Nagorno-Karabakh, Nakhchivan, Tatarstan and Transnistria. From 1988-91 the U.S.S.R. was in a political and economic SNAFU with Estonia declaring sovereignty in ’88 followed by Lithuania declaring independence in 1990.

Other ethnic republics began to fall like dominoes to the point where the Soviet military brass attempted a failed coup and U.S.S.R. President Gorbachev tendered his resignation in December 1991 at which time he was replaced by Boris Yeltsin who became the first President of the “Russian Federation”. Finally, at long last it was…

Hammer-Time!

As in the Hammer and Sickle communist flag was lowered for the final time and replaced by the tricolor that we all know as Russia’s current day flag. The Belovezh Agreement basically formalized the establishment of the Commonwealth of Independent States which previously collectively comprised the forehead mark. But who signed that agreement? The agreement was signed by President Boris Yeltsin (Russia), President Leonid Kravchuck (Ukraine) and Parliament Chairmen Stanislav Shushkevich (Belarus). In 2013, The Daily Telegraph reported that the original Belovezh Accord document had disappeared which isn’t surprising given the multiple names it was known by. Clerical filing error or nefarious machination? I’m still split 50/50 on that bit.

Onwards!

The 1994 Budapest Memorandum on Security Assurances which stated that neither Russia, the United States of America or United Kingdom could use military force or economic coercion against Ukraine, Belarus and Kazakhstan except in “self-defense” or otherwise in accordance with the United Nations charter. The end result of this and other agreements was that Ukraine (which at the time had the world’s third largest stockpile of nuclear weapons – albeit ones with launch codes controlled by Moscow), Belarus and Kazakhstan surrendered all their nukes. Sounds good… so good that another agreement was made…

The 1997 Treaty on Friendship, Cooperation and Partnership between the Russian Federation and Ukraine. Honestly, I’ll take that treaty at face value and assume it means something like friendly soccer matches and sharing nana baboushka’s famous Sharlotka recipe (it’s a Russian Apple sponge cake for those who don’t know).

Then there came…

The Kharkiv Pact of 2010 which is (or at least was) a Treaty allowing Russia to lease Ukrainian naval facilities on the Black Sea coastline of Crimea beyond 2017 with optional 5-year extensions until 2042 in exchange for reduced cost natural gas from Russia. This treaty, though controversial in Ukraine, was ratified by the Parliaments of both nations but was unilaterally terminated by Russia less than a month after their annexation of Crimea in 2014 which was (as previously noted) illegal AF. I’ll skip delving into the Minsk Protocol of 2014 because Russia failed to honor parts of the agreement and because we’re currently witnessing the endgame of said protocol in the Donbas region and southern Ukraine.

Anyways, with all those previous accords, agreements and treaties (including some I haven’t even sleuthed out yet) it’s useful to know exactly why the Kharkiv Pact was necessary. In 1997, both Russia and Ukraine signed a Partition Treaty which established two independent maritime fleets with a division of armaments and a lease of Ukraine’s naval bases in Sevasatopol on the Black Sea for use by the Russian fleet.

This is an appropriate place to note that the origin of the name “Russia” comes directly from the three parties currently involved in President Putin’s “Special Operation” to “de-nazify Ukraine”, the ancestors of those leaders who signed the Belovezh Accords namely, Russia, Ukraine and Belarus who were known historically as “Kevian Rus”. The etymology of “Rus” hearkens back to an old Norse word meaning “the men who row” (a reference to some badass sword wielding Vikings who paddled down rivers and streams all the way from the Baltic down to the Black Sea) and a later iteration from the Greeks which eventually morphed into “Rossiya” and later “Russkaya Zemlya” which translates roughly to… “the land of those guys who row”; all which goes some infinitesimally small distance to explaining why the current bloodshed and wanton destruction in Ukraine may simply be about Alpha Males, Boats, Water, Weapons and Access to the Black Sea. Unfortunately, this tidbit provides us with absolutely no clue as to why Apple decided to change their apps to show Crimea as being Russian territory.

So, it’s obvious that descendants of the rowers signed and breached many agreements but exactly who or what signed all those agreements, and does it even matter now?

Back in 1975 it was the USSR (Union of Soviet Socialist Republics) which signed the Helsinki Accord and not the post-glastnost, post-perestroika, post-Pizza Hut nation of Russia which formed upon the dissolution of the USSR in 1991. As such, modern day Russia may not feel an obligation to honor any agreement from their prior Soviet incarnation.

But what about the Geneva Conventions? Doesn’t Russia adhere to the agreement of four treaties and three protocols which they ratified back in 1954? The answer is YES and NO. But mostly NO if one can judge based on daily television coverage of Russian atrocities (basically everything in Article 4 of the Geneva Conventions) currently being committed against the people of Ukraine. It makes me wonder why Russia isn’t adhering to the agreement. As it turns out, back in 2019 President Putin officially revoked Russia’s ratification of the Geneva Convention’s - Protocol I, regarding the formation of international commissions to investigate war crimes against civilians. Basic inference allows us to see Putin’s logic in Russia’s revocation of the ratification of Protocol I – if we don’t recognize it, then it most certainly doesn’t apply to us.

Unfortunately, I have yet to determine the exact rationale behind Apple changing how their Map and Weather Apps function in Russia. What I have determined, however, is that the old map of Russia looks like Gorbachev’s forehead, nana baboushka makes a killer Apple sponge cake, and “Russia” means “the land of those guys who row,” and the longer Vladimir Putin goes on with his unprovoked war on Ukraine, the more he’ll find himself trying to row up a shit creek without a paddle. The one unanswered question then remains, Will Apple change their apps to show ALL of Ukraine as being part of Russia? If it does, we’ll all know because Apple will likely find themselves rowing up a shit creek of their own making but on the plus side of things at least they’ll have some company when they get there.

Zelenskyy to US Congress: Midpoint Pix

As you know, and perhaps watched, this morning at 9:00 am edt (began @9:06 am edt), Ukraine's President Zelenskyy virtually addressed the US Congress and the Ameircan people from an undisclosed location in Kiev, Ukraine. He mentioned, as previously reported, that Ukraine will not be joining NATO but asked that a no-fly zone over Ukraine be established (President Biden says, no, this would mean all-out war between Russia and the US), and for more weapnonry and aide. More military and humanitarian aide he is and will be receiving, and President Biden will speak shortly before noon today, last I heard.

Now today my real life environment is busy but I felt compelled to prepare a page displaying the midpoint pictures and a few astro-notes for you of 9:06 am edt and 9:23 am edt on Capitol Hill, Washington DC. Hopefully, you will be able to read them, below. If not, please enlarge the image or print it.

A stand-out is a midpoint picture with Neptune, planet of the masses and of mass media, which veils the incendiary Mars-Uranus midpoint and suggests potentials for "pushing for change" (M. Munkasey), and "people with bad intentions; overtaxed strength" (R. Ebertin). Sounds correct to me.

Another midpoint picture listed on the chart (apex Jupiter highlighted in green) is Mercury-Neptune = Jupiter: 'harboring great hopes; an actor or poet' (Ebertin). Perhaps we can agree that Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the speaker, is playing the role of thespian Jupiter on such a level. Meanwhile, planet of oration and negotiation, Mercury @10Pis33/37, remains in the 11th house and happily, Mercury is Direct - as is the money bags planet of politicians, corporatists, and broadcasters, generous Jupiter in compassionate Pisces. Thus we see the outpouring of aide and support for the Ukrainain people.

Now as you see, while President Zelenskyy spoke, radical Uranus, planet of war, revolt, and upheaval, arose as the Ascendant morphed from 7Tau35 to 13Tau37, and to me this suggests the Mars-Uranus Conjunction @6Tau44 on US Inauguration Day 2021. Conjunct US Inauguration Ascendant (@14Taurus = Oath of Office), unpredictable, upsetting, inflammatory, and/or unusual or erratic events are and have been the case for the Biden presidency. And with starry Menkar rising, we find that all presidents are expected to 'say what needs to be said'. And yet with Uranus rising, there's a potential for great coping ability!

As for House changes, there are two: Sun in Pisces moved from the hidden 12th house to the 11th house of Groups and Wishes, and Saturn - conjunct Nemesis - moved from 11th house to the more visible 10th house of Public Status and the World Stage. At this moment, I'll venture no speculation on what this entails.

But I will add that the rising position of Uranus in Taurus opposes what is generally considered to be the natal Venus in Scorpio of Mr. Putin and this transit at least partially describes the unexpected reactions and criticisms Putin garnered for his cruel invasion of Ukraine. This transit marks a period when agreements made are broken, and joint ventures are subject to change and separation. Vlad thought a take-over would be easy but the Ukrainian people proved him wrong!

Now That We See the GOP Is "The Evil Empire" Party

As always, there are both positive and negative transits upcoming for us all and given the dire state of conditions in Ukraine, a look at 2022 planetary transits to the country's Independence Horoscope of December 1, 1991 6:00 pm EET Kiev, UKR (Campion #342) may be revealing, with an emphasis on the harsh, destructive Saturn-Pluto duo in particular.

And naturally, we know that the duo's recent Conjunction @22Cap46 on January 12, 2020 started a new 33-year cycle of their difficult, compressive energies, the first since November 8, 1982 (@27Lib36: under Reagan). Check out the transcript of Reagan's March 8, 1983 speech that soon became known as his Evil Empire Speech as the 'good vs evil' planetary duo of Saturn and Pluto aligned in late Libra, years after their three-fer conjunctions during World War I (Horoscope shown). In 1982, the US Congress was in process of debating (they used to debate) a resolution in support of a "nuclear freeze" which the Reagan administration was against.

Was Mr. Reagan projecting evil on to the Soviet Union, a case of the devil slyly calling out the devil? Well, as you see, Tuesday March 8, 2022 marks his speech's 39th anniversary - and now the world suffers through Putin's dream of world domination, beginning with his take-over efforts in Ukraine. If Putin is successful (or seen as successful), other grabby dictators will follow suit. Could Putin's warmongering be a form of payback for Reagan's label for the Soviet Union as "evil"? Well, it is the Soviet Union that Putin wants to reassemble. So if you've missed it so far, I highly recommend Frontline's documentary Putin's Way (53 mins).

Why, the January 12, 2020 Saturn-Pluto Conjunction @22Cap46 even hit disruptive Uranus in the Fed's 1910 New Moon chart (Jekyll Island, GA) resulting in a midpoint picture of "brutal efforts to start a new order" which is a perfect example of the turmoil and cruelty the evil duo of Saturn and Pluto can instigate (their oposition on 9/11/01 another tragic example). Obviously, large amounts of money are involved (exs: Putin's and his oligarchs' hidden wealth, currency devalued, stock markets at risk, etc). 2022 Saturn square 1991 Pluto 3x exact on March 21, August 26, December 16, 2022: refugee crisis continues as frightened populations are forced to step into unknown territories; manipulation, contrived actions, frustration, as more power and control are sought and harsh challenges are met; structures continue to be destroyed; children under threat (parents struggle to protect them); nuclear risks incurred.

July 4, 2022: by transit the 'Tail of the Dragon', the separative South Node of the Moon @21Sco01, will swipe across 1991 Pluto suggesting a time of large social events beyond personal control, large-scale changes initiated without regard to their effects on the lives of others; war and violence; personal security destroyed; victims of circumstance; resentment, misunderstandings. Positively, Pluto-SN provides resourcefulness, self-reliance, and the stamina to survive hardships. Now that the transiting South Node is in intense Scorpio, these potentials are already being felt and exercised.

Then once transit Pluto enters Aquarius, the subversive one will be on-track toward conjunction with Ukraine's 1991 Saturn @2AQ49 in 8th house thus creating a double measure of Saturn-Pluto influences. But let's consider that particular cosmic bridge when the world comes to it.

Horoscope: Aries Ingress 2022 Moscow

With so much going on today, I only have time for a quick publish of the Aries Ingress 2022 Horoscope set for Moscow, Russia (aka, Spring Equinox). With Putin placing war front and center, 'Aries Ingress' emphasizes the season's Martian qualities.

Astro-Notes are scribbled on the chart for the curious, and several 29th-degree placements of a critical-crisis and impulsive nature will be noted, plus, star of misfortune, Scheat, is active, conjunct the Sun, and Angular.

Vladimir Putin's first natal planet to rise is his Sun @13Lib55 closely followed by his sour Saturn (@17Lib27 - conjunct Herr Trump's natal Jupiter 17:27), then his Neptune-Mercury conjunction of fantasy and fallacy rises; meanwhile, Ingress 2022 Saturn conjunct Nemesis points toward Putin's natal North Node which suggests his lonely position, work that becomes steadily more difficult as time goes on (R. Ebertin), and possibly his 'unbeatable foe' determination to take power and expand Russian territory (like the Roman Empire - see the IC's Sabian Symbol - "The Pope Blessing the Faithful") via war and violence.

That Time a GOP Gaggle Spent July 4th in Moscow

Republicans, Moscow, Neptune, & Furry Foxes Yapping

Mystical Neptune is the planet closely associated with Russia (its 'totem planet' as Uranus is America's 'totem planet'), and perhaps you remember how a group of Republican Congressmen Skulked over to Moscow for the 4th of July, 2018, but they weren't in Russia to complain about Putin aiding Tr*mp in the November 2016 Election, oh no. They were there to say, no criticism for You, comrades. What else they divulged, I don't know. Intel? A financial pay-off? Uncertain. Perhaps a scandal will reveal some secrets left over from the July 2018 Jupiter-Neptune square on or around April 12, 2022 when a new cycle of the frothy pair begins (see the Jupiter-Neptune Conjunction link, below).

Now with Midterms 2022 arriving later this year on the very same day as a revealing Lunar Eclipse in Taurus, I freely admit to my culpability in 'renaming' the Republican Party with labels such as The Conspiracy Party, and worse. Well, to tell you the truth, it's been super easy to do because of their sorry behavior toward America, their disrespect for democracy and the US Constitution, their disdain for the American people, their neglect of the common good, their slavish adherence to figurehead Tr*mp - plus the fact that the political party of 1854 has now experienced its first-ever Neptune Return which has actually been a drawn-out five-fer of returns due to slow-moving planet Neptune's retrogradation periods. Follow the link to view the fifth of five returns which occurred on December 29, 2018 for it bookends the party's entire Return period begun in 2017, and includes the July 4th 2018 visit of the Republicans to Moscow (Senators Shelby, Johnson, Kennedy, Daines, Hoeven, Moran, and Thune, plus, Representative Kay Granger of Texas).

Of course, the exact dates of the party's Neptune Return/s depend upon which founding data is used to calculate the party's horoscope. For this, I've used the March 20, 1854 chart set for Ripon, Wisconsin with Neptune @14Pis01, a degree that evokes the symbol of "A Lady In Fox Fur," an appropriate word picture for the Murdoch-supported GOP, imho, with "foxy" being another word for cunning and seductive.

Talking Points: 'The Neptune Party' Parrots Putin

So of course, urge-to-merge Neptune, positively representing the Divine Source and humanity's higher inspiration faculty, negatively tends to be associated in this old world with deception, the Big Lie, fraud, corruption, rottenness, malicious schemes, loss, conspiracies, gaslighting, scandals, unreality, fakery, propaganda, photography/film, camera ops and special effects, spiritualism, poisons, toxins, all liquids, gas, oil, fumes, heists and thefts, speculation, inflation, bubbles, disguises, illusions and delusions, instability, dissolution, disappointment, and undermining activities of subversion such as sabotage and treason. Of course, contagious infections are Neptunian as well - as transit Neptune floating through its own sign of Pisces has tragically demonstrated.

And even now, with Putin's threat against Ukraine in the news and on the authoritarian's to-do list, Republicans and their talking heads in the far-right media are propagandizing that Putin can "smell" President Biden's "weakness," two more words inspired by Neptunian energies attempting to create instability and mistrust in society, in order to promote the GOP's ultimate goal of 'taking back' the House and Senate in November 2022, by all means necessary. A 'talking points' link between Putin and the GOP isn't difficult to imagine.

Now astrologically, you'll notice in the December 29, 2018 Horoscope linked, above, that the Sagittarian ASC is ruled by expansive boundary-breaker Jupiter, with 2018 Jupiter squaring Neptune - the Republican Party's Neptune. Astro-Notes concerning this transit are penned in the center of the chart and intended for the curious to read, if need be. Victimized by illusions is a pretty good description of the Jupiter-square-Neptune transit and of its results upon the party and its voters who believe - or pretend to believe - whatever conspiracy they like, no matter how outrageous. They imagine that there's a 'higher purpose' to all the deception and corruption they engage with and pass along, as if 'the ends justify the means'. But I say, this is fallacious.

So if you suspect that the April 12, 2022 Jupiter-Neptune Conjunction in secretive Pisces will be signficant for the Republican Party in its current Neptunian condition (and thus for America) as the new planetary cycle of the gaseous duo begins, then I'm glad to say we're on the same page, dear reader.

2023 to 2027 and Washington DC

Focusing on June 2023

Since creating Stars Over Washington in 2005, I've always considered transits, progressions, and planetary returns affecting our nation by using one or more of the various 1776 horoscopes for America but the the 12:00 am LMT Washington DC Horoscope of May 3, 1802 reveals a significant transit as an example of upcoming issues and concerns.

Naturally, rather than a mere post, an e-book would have to be written and published in order to contain and discuss all the upcoming transits of note over the next few years, for as the Cosmos would have it, a mixture of both positive and negative transits and contacts are and will be indicated. Well, I can't do this so what you see displayed is a bi-wheel horoscope of one major transit with the outer transit chart set for June 5, 2023 (exact at 12:37:03 pm edt) showing transit Uranus @20Tau27 opposing DC's 1802 Neptune @20Sco27 Rx in 10th house at 12:00 am LMT.

Now as you know, Uranus = Science, and Neptune = Faith and Ideals and these energies may play out in general terms in light of the reciprocal transit in 2026 into 2027 when transit Neptune opposes DC's 1802 Uranus. This reveals a time frame (2023 --2027) and a wider view that we should keep in mind as major shifts, changes, and reforms occur in the USA, or are proposed and rebuffed. Yet we must be aware that a longterm plan by China and Russia is now in pain sight and intends to topple America from global leadership, thus forming a 'new world order' of authoritarianism, as Russia threatens to invade Ukraine territory again.

Astrologically in the US, transit Pluto @00AQ05 Rx on June 5, 2023 has finally reached the January 20th degree of US Inaugural Sun (POTUS Oath of Office) - which is also the December 2020 Great Conjunction of societal planets Jupiter and Saturn so here's an excerpt from a previous post concerning this topic which may be of a timely interest:

Astro-Notes: The 2004 Transit of Venus and Trump

Astro-Notes on The 2004 Transit of Venus and an Unfaithful Donald Trump

The last Transit of Venus (passing across the Sun from Earth's vantage point) occurred on June 5 and 6, 2012 and is the last Venus Transit of the 21st century. For as you know, Venus Transits occur in pairs every 243 years, 8 years apart and separated by gaps of 121.5 years and 105.5 years. Follow the above Wikipedia link for more details about this rare, scientifically significant, cosmic occultation.

Yet the focus of this post is the 'partner' of the 2012 Transit which occurred on June 8, 2004 so if we check out 2004 in US Politics, we find war criminals Dubya Bush and Dick Cheney in the White House overseeing America's oil-and-poppy grabbing Middle Eastern adventurism in which no WMDs were found - but ancient artifacts were looted from the Iraq Museum. However, the good news is that apparently, 17,000 of the looted artifacts have been returned to where they belong. We might also note that Bush and Cheney were "re-elected" on November 2, 2004 - and that the Venus Cycle (4 and 8 years) forms a background of cosmic influences upon the US Presidential Election Cycle. Not the only one or the only influence on elections, of course, but there it is.

Now to calculate the 2004 Transit of Venus Horoscope, below, my astrology software and I can only manage an exact conjunction of Sun and Venus which, as you see, occurred at 17Gem53:34 at 4:43 am edt (Washington DC: ASC 00Gem13 conjunct Alcyone (keyphrase: something to cry about). Please note that the bi-wheel image shows the 2004 chart surrounding the natal chart of Herr Tr*mp:

Meanwhile, various events in the US during 2004 are listed here. June 2004 events include the resignation of CIA Director George Tenet on June 3rd, the passing of Ronald Reagan, age 93, on June 5th (funeral June 11th, a beloved fellow to many), and the Sea Island, Georgia G-8 Summit ('8' one of Venus' numbers) which then included Russia but as you know, Putin and the Kremlin were kicked out of the group in 2014 due to aggression against Ukraine.

Now since Tr*mp's ambitious dreams of power and control were simmering in the background of 2004 with his alleged foreign connections well underway by then, it seems significant to me that the 2004 Transit of Venus perfected directly upon his natal 10th house Uranus (17Gem53) which happens to be his oriental or guiding planet, with Uranian chaos and disruption being his favored way to do business, as we know. Plus, because erratic Uranus suggests reactionary politics, radical reforms, abrupt changes, unusual contacts or associations, or even zealotry and anarchy - if We The People didn't realize the radical political nature of Tr*mp in 2004, we certainly have seen and experienced such 'wild' and disruptive behavior demonstrated in the last few years, culminating with his terrorist attack on the Legislative branch of government on January 6, 2021 (with more to come).

Yet let's not spotlight only Russia and, by extension, Ukraine, in the Trump saga because two references to China appear in his natal chart, as perhaps you've previously noticed: the Sabian Symbols for his Uranus (18Gemini) and for his natal Moon (22Sagittarius) which are penned on the left of the chart, highlighted in orange. Curiously, one symbol (word picture) sounds like foreign spies having a cozy chat together ('unusual contacts and associations'), and the other = "A Chinese Laundry". He's said to be a dedicated money launderer, you know, and the global criminal underworld surrounds and supports him.

So as you see, transit Pluto in the chart conjuncts his natal Sag Moon so we know 2004 was a time of intense emotional turmoil and fear, being manipulated and controlled, and even overpowered (see lower left corner), plus, potentials of the period included trouble in personal relationships, difficult family matters, and issues of financial empowerment or theft.

Simultaneously, Pluto opposed his Gemini Sun suggesting a time of no-compromise situations (an offer he could't refuse?), threats of devastating consequences made, plus, his ego could have been defeated in a contest of wills against more powerful Plutonian forces. Of course, that's spymaster Pluto of the hidden hand, the manipulative planet of extreme wealth and perhaps ringleader of a criminal syndicate.

Plus, transit Pluto to South Node, a Saturnian point indicating the past, supports the idea of threats to his or his family's personal security, and possibly that he had met with these or other Plutonian figures before (SN).

Then if we view the 2004 Venus Transit Horoscope as one of simple planetary contacts for Tr*mp, Venus conjunct his natal Uranus hints that unusual or nontraditional contacts and alliances occurred along with relationship break-ups, while any threats to his ego probably dissipated rather quickly (as they would have if he accepted 'the offer'). His fabled lack of loyalty was activated (or utilized) and he received attention that made him feel 'special' (bwo Venusian flattery and financial promises) although group participation would have been a bit more difficult than usual for this odd Uranian loner and dictator-wanna-be.

Additionally, a general mention should be made of potentials within the Venus-Uranus pair and the associated tendencies toward extravagance, love of luxury, wastefulness, eccentricity, unfaithfulness, self-willedness in love, temporary liaisons, and sudden separations. And of course, he was born a rebellious, quirky Sun-Uranus kind of guy, an original, tendencies which were spotlighted or enhanced by the transiting Sun @17Gem53 and suggesting public contacts and meetings via his Gemini North Node.

Now in closing, here's a vintage SO'W post concerning this Venusian topic from way back in 2012: Horrocks First Views a Venus Transit in 1639 which provided more accuracy to measurements of our Solar System than observations had ever provided before. And the next Transits of Venus? December 10-11, 2117 and December 8, 2125, both in Sagittarius.

Neptune and the Untangling of the American Empire

Yes, we know. And we feel it happening. Yet perhaps, dear reader, you've purposefully missed the August 6, 2020 article in Rolling Stone by Wade Davis, The Unraveling of America, or perhaps you don't like to ponder such topics as Fallen Empires, the whys and the wherefores.

Well, despite this, I'm here today to inform you that there have been multiple SO'W posts published over the last few years - especially since Trump - concerning such weighty topics. An example is the December 29, 2016 Capricorn New Moon = 1940 'Arsenal of Democracy' New Moon both @7Capricorn for those courageous enough to dare a perusal. Obviously, in recent years Donald Trump playing the POTUS role within the unraveling/dissolution/sabotage/collapse of America is an intimate actor in the piece, stage-managed by Putin and the Kremlin, and cheered on by various opponents of the US. Meanwhile, many pundits and others have admitted that his nibs is not the cause of our nation's demise but more a symptom of its karma for it's been coming on for years. I say he's the figurehead selected by opponents of democracy to lead America into the ash heap of history while China and Russia continue arrangements to take over global leadership. Well, powerhouse China intends to take over, anyway, although more arrangements are required.

After all, timing is everything and China is very patient.

And naturally, astrologers (if no one else!) easily recognize astrological Neptune's influence in words such as dissolve, unravel, sabotage, collapse - the planet well known for its surreptitious activities and undermining qualities (it seems the GOP has contracted 'urge to merge' fever - for Russia). A big clue is that the Republican Party of 1854 recently experienced a Neptune Return (since Trump) which timed an identity change into the Trump Party aka, the Conspiracy Party. And as you know, Neptune floating through shady Pisces has timed a period of paranoia, fear, propaganda, deceit, fraud, misconceptions, disguises, gaslighting, cravings, contagion, and loss, hasn't it?

As you've heard, upheaval is occurring in Belarus over fake election results so with Belarus in the news, I'm adding for current or future reference the two sets of data for the founding of Belarus published in Nicholas Campion's The Book of World Horoscopes. The Prenatal Solar Eclipse Saros Series ('PE') under which Belarus declared its independence from the USSR is the 11 South which perfected on July 11, 1991 @19Cancer. Notably, this 11 South of 1991 is also the PE of GHW Bush Sr's creepy 'new world order' speech he delivered to the US Congress on September 11, 1991 touting the globalist Utopian agenda, so long-planned, as a "big idea." You'll note the sinister "9/11" pre-echo.

So to me, spokesman Bush's "big idea" sounds much like the major clue that wafted from the midpoint picture formed by transit Pluto in 2017, the very year Trump pretended to take the Oath of Office and swore his (elusive) allegiance to the US - the year when creepy saboteur Pluto hit the degree of 1993's Uranus-Neptune Conjunction/s @18Capricorn: "The big picture commands a certain course of action which must be followed; very little option to do otherwise" (Tyl).

And the Sabian Symbol for "18Capricorn"? "Smug or strong-armed paternalism." (Jones). Dane Rudhyar gives the degree a revealing picture of "The Union Jack Flag Flies from a British Warship"; he adds, "POLITICAL POWER, its values and its dangers."

Other than perhaps 11 South's themes listed below, I have no insights whatsoever into how Belarus and its current turmoil and violence might play into the Utopian "big picture" which is clearly on someone's radical agenda. Therefore, observers such as myself must wait and watch despite the distractions in the US being play-acted by figurehead Trump whose entry onto the World Stage may seem like a detour on the road to a 'new world order' but whose White House tenure of disruption, chaos, corruption, lawlessness, and anti-constitutionalism may be just what the globalists ordered from the start. Because Democracy and old-fashioned nation-states do get in their way.

So let's close with the themes of 11 South: "the need to make sudden reforms; old ideas and methods fail and new systems are required to deal with events; people will need to think of new ways of handling issues; any blocks could be violently or tragically removed" (paraphrasing Brady's Predictive Astrology). Obviously, when it comes to 11 South eclipses, turbulent proceedings are part of the cosmic picture.

And for the sake of historical comparison, the years in which an 11 South Solar Eclipse manifested are 1901, 1919, 1937, 1955, 1973, (1991), 2009 (@29Cap27), 2027, 2045. Oh and by the way: 11 South is the PE series of the American Revolution with its Total Eclipse clocking in @11Pis11!

An Invading Comet Signifying Nothing?

July 16, 2020: Some say comets are no longer omens for a superstitious world. Perhaps not, but have they no meaning for Earthlings at all? It's still possible to view comet 'NeoWise' (C/2020 F3 first seen in March 2020 by the NEOWISE spacecraft), so I'm adding a couple of related links, below.

And I'm proposing that there may be cosmic connections between the interloping comet with 'neo' (= new or novel) in its name and visible in the northwest directly under the Big Dipper (Ursa Major, aka, 'The Big Bear' - you know, as in the symbol for Russia), the 'novel' (neo/new) corona virus, and the ongoing hacking (aka, interloping or invading) of corona virus research and development organizations, health care facilities, pharmaceutical companies, etc, in the US, UK, and Canada. The hacks are reportedly perpetrated by Russian intelligence services under the names 'Cozy Bear', 'the Dukes', and 'APT29'.

And so yes! I'm relating the invading interloper comet NeoWise with invading hackers, bears, contagion, and all. Now really - can you blame me?

Agent Trump Wants Pal Putin's Russia Back in the G-7

June 30, 2020: For unknown reasons, I saved the following post as a draft but never completed or published it. So with the current news about Trump knowing for months that Putin had put bounties on the heads of US soldiers in Afghanistan but did and said nothing about it while continuing to tout Russia's re-entry into the G7 Group of nations I'm posting it today for whatever info it may add. Even US voters who somehow, beyond reason, prefer Trump in November cannot possibly be okay with this.

May 31, 2020: Citing current G7 members, economic royalist Trump has asserted that, "It's a very outdated group of countries" which makes yours truly wonder how "outdated" his nibs considers America to be 'under his watch.' That's not exactly what he meant, of course. He meant, Let's invite my comrade and favorite co-conspirator Putin to the party! He proposed including Australia and a couple of other countries to make things appear more legitimate as they talk behind China's back about the future of China, their alleged G7 intention.

Say, remember when Canada flatly rejected Trump's idea of allowing Russia back in? As you know, Russia was tossed out of the elite group of social tinkerers in 2014 for annexing Crimea, an ongoing tragedy as I type. This is the entire globe's ongoing tragedy and I don't mean to imply that I consider China an outsider to "The big picture (that) commands a certain course of action which must be followed, very little option to do otherwise" (Tyl) which was timed for greater implementation all through 2017 into 2018 by transit Pluto conjunct 1993's Great Conjunction/s of Uranus and Neptune, the 'new world order' planets (18--20Cap). Perhaps those who could not 'see it' in 2017 are seeing draconian conditions starkly enforced in front of their faces in 2020 if they haven't before. And as you know, the current position of the Moon's South Node, aka, the tail of the dragon, is 29Sag13, a critical-crisis 29th degree (Sabian Symbol for '30Sag' = "The Pope Blessing the Faithful" as I'm certain he does; '30Sag' = negative expression: "inordinate love of self-display and surrender to a lust for power" (Jones).

Back to Trump's 'Movable Feast' G7 2020

Now so far I've discovered no definite date for a G7 meeting in September 2020 for it may not have been set yet, so we can't Moon-track the event today as we did in 2019 when Trump knocked noodles 'on the sidelines' with UK PM Boris Johnson. Apparently Trump prefers shadowy sidelines for his private whispers. Like ya do when you have many secrets and crimes to hide.

So as you know, sources are reporting that Trump's G7 2020 'plan' is to postpone G7 2020 'until at least September' from the original June 10, 2020 date and location at secure Camp David where barely a conspiratorial word can be whispered without a mic or camera picking it up - another reason for Trump and Putin to rock the G7 boat, yes?

With no definite date for G7 2020 (if you find one Please let me know!) we can at the least check the September 2020 Lunations (New and Full Moons) where we find that the month begins with a Full Moon @10Pis12 (September 2), an interesting cosmic occurrence since deceptive Neptune was @10Pisces opposite the 19 North Solar Eclipse that functioned as the Prenatal Eclipse of both Election 2016 and Inauguration 2017. Will new information be uncovered or leaked in September or late August concerning those significant events and/or the Trump-Putin love match? For Full Moons can reveal hidden things much as Lunar Eclipses, and New Moons can act in similar fashion to Solar Eclipses (Ovason). So you know what I always say around eclipse and lunation times? Peep-Eye!

Cold War Horoscope 1945 meets Saturn-Pluto 2020

Cold War-Yalta Astro-Notes: 1945 and Beyond

It's probably not good news that one of the planets in a historical horoscope soon to be 'hit' by the harsh January 12, 2020 Saturn-Pluto Conjunction @22Cap46 is Mars in the February 4, 1945 Cold War Horoscope of the postwar Yalta Conference between FDR, Churchill, and Stalin which suggests potentials for 'brutality, violence, ruthlessness, and the necessity to fight for one's existence' (Ebertin). Additionally, the January 12, 2020 conjunction of compressed energies manifests upon the Cold War's 19 South Prenatal Eclipse ('PE' of January 14, 1945 @23Cap41 = 'lucky breaks'--Brady) and it conjuncts Trump's natal Vertex ('VX' @22Cap51), all of which are penned on the right side of the chart; Roosevelt's birth data is listed, upper right; and a Vertex is a point of 'fated encounters' and/or 'changing work conditions':

Also listed on the chart underneath FDR's natal data is a depressing cosmic occurrence--Yalta's Saturn Rx @4Can36 conjoins FDR's natal Moon, and Yalta's Moon conjoins FDR's natal Saturn--a double whammy, we could say. So obviously, the conference was held during an emotional low point in Roosevelt's life, plus, Moon-Saturn contacts often have health connotations. We can see this in Yalta photos and the dark circles around his eyes.

Then sadly, as you know, President Franklin Delano Roosevelt died of a brain hemorrhage about 2 months after the Yalta Conference ended, his "willful ignorance" about Stalin and communism no longer influencing him. Yet due to recent events and Trump's turns against traditional US alliances, one may wonder if in 2019 and beyond the tendency toward such 'ignorance' continues to influence certain denizens of Washington DC who thereby work against the better interests of our nation.

Recommended: Roosevelt's Failure at Yalta from the Hoover Institute circa 2004 which touches uncomfortably upon the current day relationship between the US and Russia via Donald Trump's transactional, subservient union with Vladimir Putin. Alternatively, here's a different view, Why Roosevelt was right about Stalin - that we could do business with him because at heart Stalin was a businessman. So was FDR naive about the Russian leader of his day? Does Donald Trump behave like a Kremlin asset? The horoscope, above, has some indication of threatened violence and of course many folk (such as yours truly) suspect that Putin controls Trump bwo blackmail and/or threatened violence--and perhaps Stalin controlled Roosevelt in a similar fashion. If so, are current events and those of the Roosevelt administration and the Stalin regime more alike than we know?

Well, for more info on 1945 events, try a Politico article by Andrew Glass Roosevelt departs from Yalta, February 11, 1945 which details some of the aftermath of the Yalta Conference such as FDR's assurance to Congress that, "I come from the Crimea with a firm belief that we have made a start on the road to a world of peace." But it soon became clear that Stalin would not honor his promise of free elections for Poland. Naive? Willful ignorance? Complicity under duress?

So I surmise that the upcoming planetary pile-up upon the 23 Capricorn degree indicates a cosmic time link involving events of 1945 and today, with the same nations participating. And on the horoscope you see (mid-center, top) a notation replete with on-topic cosmic synchronicity: 23 Capricorn = Governmental authority, according to fabled astrologer Nicholas Devore.

So as 'they' always like to say, timing is everything which suggests to me that whatever upcoming shift "this is," it has been in the planning stages for a very long time meant to coincide with the beginning of a new order timed by Saturn conjunct Pluto, then at Winter Solstice 2020, Jupiter conjunct Saturn upon US Inaugural Sun (the Office of the President), and with three conjunctions of the wealthy plutocrat duo Jupiter and Pluto sandwiched in between.
