Treaty of Versailles: a Cancerian Affair

In the horoscope of the Treaty of Versailles, the agreement that ended World War I, we find the critical 29th degree of Libra rising: Libra, sign of diplomacy - and with its polar opposite sign ruled by warrior planet Mars, the war axis, conjunct the Descendant.

Now That We See the GOP Is "The Evil Empire" Party

As always, there are both positive and negative transits upcoming for us all and given the dire state of conditions in Ukraine, a look at 2022 planetary transits to the country's Independence Horoscope of December 1, 1991 6:00 pm EET Kiev, UKR (Campion #342) may be revealing, with an emphasis on the harsh, destructive Saturn-Pluto duo in particular.

And naturally, we know that the duo's recent Conjunction @22Cap46 on January 12, 2020 started a new 33-year cycle of their difficult, compressive energies, the first since November 8, 1982 (@27Lib36: under Reagan). Check out the transcript of Reagan's March 8, 1983 speech that soon became known as his Evil Empire Speech as the 'good vs evil' planetary duo of Saturn and Pluto aligned in late Libra, years after their three-fer conjunctions during World War I (Horoscope shown). In 1982, the US Congress was in process of debating (they used to debate) a resolution in support of a "nuclear freeze" which the Reagan administration was against.

Was Mr. Reagan projecting evil on to the Soviet Union, a case of the devil slyly calling out the devil? Well, as you see, Tuesday March 8, 2022 marks his speech's 39th anniversary - and now the world suffers through Putin's dream of world domination, beginning with his take-over efforts in Ukraine. If Putin is successful (or seen as successful), other grabby dictators will follow suit. Could Putin's warmongering be a form of payback for Reagan's label for the Soviet Union as "evil"? Why, the January 12, 2020 Saturn-Pluto Conjunction @22Cap46 even hit disruptive Uranus in the Fed's 1910 New Moon chart (Jekyll Island, GA) resulting in a midpoint picture of "brutal efforts to start a new order" which is a perfect example of the turmoil and cruelty the evil duo of Saturn and Pluto can instigate (their oposition on 9/11/01 another tragic example). Obviously, large amounts of money are involved (exs: Putin's and his oligarchs' hidden wealth, currency devalued, stock markets at risk, etc). July 4, 2022: by transit the 'Tail of the Dragon', the separative South Node of the Moon @21Sco01, will swipe across 1991 Pluto suggesting a time of large social events beyond personal control, large-scale changes initiated without regard to their effects on the lives of others; war and violence; personal security destroyed; victims of circumstance; resentment, misunderstandings. Positively, Pluto-SN provides resourcefulness, self-reliance, and the stamina to survive hardships. Now that the transiting South Node is in intense Scorpio, these potentials are already being felt and exercised.

Then once transit Pluto enters Aquarius, the subversive one will be on-track toward conjunction with Ukraine's 1991 Saturn @2AQ49 in 8th house thus creating a double measure of Saturn-Pluto influences. But let's consider that particular cosmic bridge when the world comes to it.

Feb 2022: Putin Takes Over the Chernobyl Reactor

Very few if any people are behind Vladimir Putin for sending soldiers into Ukraine on February 24, 2022 with a mission to - unbeknowst to the troops until they arrived there - kill their cousins. As part of mobster Putin's illegal war efforts, it has been reported that Russian troops have grabbed control of the non-operative Chernobyl reactor and this has caused a spike of radioactivity. Yet the accuracy of various news reports concerning this deranged nuclear situation will be difficult to sort out from false reports over the next days, weeks, months, but accuracy does appear in the dual horoscope image of the original Chernobyl Meltdown (upper right; April 26, 1986 1:23 am BADT; ASC 22Sag49 with accident-prone Uranus rising) and a Horoscope of the 6 North Solar Eclipse which perfected on April 9, 1986 @19Ari06 (lower left), its thematic energies running in the background of society as the Chernobyl reactor melted down. 6 North themes are listed below the image:

Now let's fast forward to 2022 in relation to Putin's ill-considered war against Ukraine (which has something like 15 other nuclear reactors around the country). A cosmic echo of historical events may be heard by sensitive ears because a 6 North Eclipse manifests once again on April 30, 2022 @10Taurus. If this suggests that similar events of 1986 may be 'spiked' by the repetition of 6 North themes in April 2022 and over the next few months, then unfortunately, this may be so. However, we should note that (KGB) Putin didn't take over Russia until May 2000.

Yet consideration must be given to the fact that as a cosmic blink from above, an eclipse is able to disrupt earthly events and cause changes of direction, as we know. And as a Universal wild card, an eclipse can have shocking effects similar to those of planet Uranus (with its link to Uranium), and with sudden accidents being one of the more prominent expressions, for as we see in the Meltdown Horoscope, unpredictable Uranus rises - and is also apex planet of the 'death axis' pair of Mars-Saturn, thus forming a midpoint picture which reveals potentials that we know were expressed: 'death; sudden accidents; a test of nervous strength; application of brute force' (R. History Rhymes while Eclipses Repeat

Then if we look for guidance at past occurrences of 6 North solar eclipses (in order to be forewarned), we find that 6 North is the prenatal eclipse series ('PE') in which World War One began (horoscope shown) by a purposeful act of aggression, as is Putin's war against Ukraine. That Chernobyl radioactivity can threaten Europe and the world probably doesn't ruffle Putin's feathers in the least. For like his useful idiot Tr*mp, malevolent Vlad seems to be mad at the world.

Subsequently, we might also include the fact that a 6N eclipse manifested during the troubling times of the 1930s - specifically on March 7, 1932 @17Pisces. As it happened, the next solar eclipse to occur was in the 6 South Saros Series as what I have regretfully termed the Nazis Rise to Power Eclipse, termed as such due to historical events and conditions of the era. Curiously, Putin has cited Nazis in Ukraine as one of his justifications for aggression but from what I hear that's only a limited number of people with that persuasion. Tragically, America has them, too, they control most members of the GOP, and have infiltrated the US military and joined many if not all of US police forces.

So let us face the fact, dear reader, that evil, destructive forces have risen again and are precisely what the world now struggles against - and at this very moment, Ukraine and Russia are 'on the front lines' as authoritarianism brazenly attacks democracy.

As the world well knows, it was not that but the start of a process. And it was, however, "a ritual sacrifice" and global populations - including millions of Americans - have been sacrificed ever since, both in declared and undeclared wars, thanks to old, mostly bald war profiteers and their warmongering enablers propagandizing generations of men and women into sacrificing their lives and fortunes on behalf of corporate conquest, plunder, greed, and power. Will we ever learn?

Numero Uno: A New Order Initiated

Below you see the historical World War One Horoscope, but first, a question: Why Was Kaiser Wilhelm Never Tried for Starting WWI? Note that today is the 116th annversary of the Kaiser's 'open door' speech delivered in Tangiers, North Africa on March 31, 1905.

As for President Wilson, he had duplicitously campaigned on a platform of keeping America out of the war! But there were massive profits to be made, as Wilson discovered (if he hadn't known before). Making the World Safe for Democracy? Seriously?

For the curious, here's a view of the A New Order: Woodrow Wilson Inauguration Horoscope of 1913 with two apt midpoint pictures indicating duplicity, unfaithfulness, deception (Neptune-NN = Saturn) and a sense of tragedy (Venus-Pluto = Saturn), with Inaugural Saturn as the planet of authority, management, and lawmaking. And to add insult to injury, here's the Scripture the Bible was opened to as Wilson took the Oath of Office upon it with Inaugural Sun in secretive, shady Pisces as it was until 1937:

Ebertin). I'd say so: he hung around with Washington politicians.

May 25, 2020: Horoscopes of World Wars I and II

May 25, 2020 Memorial Day: With the destructive spirit of sacrifice and martyrdom once again sweeping across the lands of every nation, here is a dual image of the Horoscopes of World War I and World War II with my notes penned on. Data sources are from historical records, chart #426 (WWI, lower left) and #247 (WWII, upper right) from Campion's The Book of World Horoscopes:

As you see, today - and of late - transit Pluto Rx @24Cap47 conjuncts warrior Mars (24:22) in the WWII horoscope while 1939 Mars, determined on success at all costs and efficient in Capricorn, leads a ruthless Locomotive shape, and yet Jupiter the General is retrograde ('Rx') as each war begins, traditionally an unfavorable condition or omen for 'he who starts a battle'.

And if we consider Trump as "general" of the current war against contagion (since he boasts himself to be a "war president"), Jupiter the General Rx makes some measure of sense in 2020 thanks to his neglectful mismanagement of what is yet another sacrificial war.

Additionally, today's Pluto conjunct WWII Mars suggests determination toward one's task yet Pluto-to-Mars denotes danger if revenge and/or anger are driving forces as they so often are for Donald Trump. Activities may involve potentials for secrecy, physical analysis, research and development. And karma.

So this Memorial Day 2020, amidst the still-raging pandemic and its threats of danger, many beaches in the US are crowded with sun worshipers as reported by CNN. It seems that the solemnity of the day is nowhere in sight.

Nov 10, 2018: a Military Parade and a Lunar Return

August 17, 2018 Update 1:14 am edt: have just seen a headline that Trump's controversial military parade has been "postponed" until 2019 so the following horoscope and details are now moot! This rather makes sense once you look at the chart. Apparently the huge price tag was ill-received!

August 16, 2018: News reports say that Trump's military parade set for Saturday November 10, 2018 are now estimated to cost $92 million, $80 million over the original estimate by the Department of Defense. Yes, Americans are always proud of their soldiers yet one wants to believe that the DOD has more important things to do than march showily through DC streets and better ways to spend this extravagant amount of tax payer money on what may certainly be called a vanity parade for Trump's weak ego.

America's last such military display was in 1991 to celebrate Bush41's 'victory' in the Gulf--you know the 'Operation Desert Storm' that Bush Sr characterized as "a triumph of the New World Order." That war he and the Pentagon finagled in time for the Great Conjunction/s of Uranus and Neptune all through 1993, a cosmic significator for the 'NWO'. One must assume that their engineered 'WWIII' will 'seal the deal' of Global Government against the wills of everyone except the hidden power elite warmongers and profiteers who pull the strings that send young people to fight foreign wars.

Now, to make more palatable to the public Trump's military parade and its wasteful expense and the queasiness of seeing the US military marching through the streets of the nation's capital along with the suggestion of impending war, someone's strategic hindsight has provided the administration with the (apparent) justification of honoring the 100th anniversary of the end of World War I on November 10, 2018 which may salve some folks' consciences but yours truly isn't buying since the date was selected for said justification and has nothing to do with Trump's pathetic and phallic demand for a parade--as if to honor him. And perhaps he imagines that a parade held so soon after the November 6 Midterms will seem to 'celebrate' the expected Republican 'victories' at (hacked) voting booths and election officials' laptops across America with childish Trump playing drum-major-for-a-day. It's Admiral Bone Spurs: cowardly yet 'victorious' by hook or crook!

Of course, there are many other reasons for such extravagant spending on a pompous display of force (Scorpio rising ruled by Mars, sub-ruled by Pluto; proud, showy Leo at Midheaven, The Goal Point), and we can expect that more parade details will come out as November nears. But for now, how about the cosmic synchronicity of November 10, 2018 being a day of a Trump Lunar Return? Below is the Return horoscope with way too many details penned on and color coded for you (mea culpa!).

Even so, it's quite a revealing chart especially if one includes Sabian Symbols, stars, and links to Trump's and America's natal planets, some of which are noted on the chart which has been relocated for Washington DC from his natal Queens, NY; and note that Mr. Trump's natal Moon conjoins his Saturnian South Node, as you know, and is not a natal picture of sustained popularity:

Now as you see, a BOWL shape is in effect for Trump's November 2018 Moon Return with valuable Venus @25Lib58 Rx leading the Bowl's tilt and chaotic quirky Uranus (America's planet of war and revolt), opposite in the 6th house of Military and Civil Service. As we've experienced, Uranus is a zealous Utopian fanatic when in Mars-ruled Aries (Ebertin) and is Trump's guiding planet and 'inner voice' (of chaos and frenzy). Of course, the Aries-Libra axis relates to both war and diplomacy and there's Venus rising in the karmic 12th house of Self-Undoing, Politics, and Large Institutions.

Yet the Venus-Uranus duo is often known only for potential 'separations in relationships' but here it likely relates to the wasteful, extravagant spending of spendthrift Trump (but only with other people's money, not his own) and his enablers. Plus, as you see, the Venus-Uranus opposition forms a T-Square of sorts toward North Node in the 9th house of Foreign Lands--North Node (future direction) at a critical 29th degree of Cancer (patriotism; tribalism; nationalism; protectionism) which, when rounded up to "30Cancer" for its Sabian Symbol, gives a picture of "A Daughter of the American Revolution."

As a midpoint picture we have Venus-Uranus = NN: instincts lead to new associations (Ebertin); disruptive attention-getting methods; presentations of unusual forms of entertainment (Munkasey). Sounds about right.

And actually, if it occurs this parade may turn out to serve as a 'fanatical reform' to our traditions since a temporary YOD (turning point,crossroads, and/or special task) is temporarily formed by the powerful Sun-Pluto sextile at its base pointing toward the Gemini Uranus and North Node of Mr. Trump, a duo of 'radical politics' and such reforms.

Now hopefully you may enlarge the above image for further reading although I shall close this post for now with three significant chart factors--the Sabian Symbol for the degree of Jupiter the General in 1st house: "1Sag": "A Grand Army of the Republic Campfire," warrior Mars @26AQ40 angering some, exciting others of the American people (conjunct US natal Moon), and note that Mercury @10Sag42 conjoins warring star Antares with both conjoined by asteroids Hopi (ambush or prejudice) and Icarus who overdid his objective, flew too close to the Sun, and fell into the sea.

World War One planning began as early as 1906.

The First World War, Archduke Ferdinand and Sophie: a Wedding Anniversary 1914

With the outbreak of the First World War traditionally blamed upon the "spark" lighted by the June 28, 1914 assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand and wife Sophie in Sarajevo, it is interesting to note that there are two planetary transits by conjunction to the Archduke's natal planets on this very day, the 100th anniversary of their double assassination.

They are transit Mars in Libra to natal Saturn (16Lib40 conjunct natal Midheaven 16Lib24) which spotlights obstacles (Saturn) in career and public status (MC) and describes the need to hurry (their driver took a wrong turn and when told he stopped the car--only once--next to the successful assassin--a coincidence? Apparently so.) The other current transit to the Archduke's natal chart is transit Saturn in Scorpio conjunct natal Jupiter 17Sco50 which denotes that the path he was taking was blocked--well, yes, assassination can certainly be described as a blockage, can't it? It hints that the Archduke should have been giving back some of the gifts and good fortune but perhaps he was hoarding them--or, at least there were those in need in society who would understandably feel it to be so. Divergence from tradition could have been part of the discontent as well with this transit (which I'm reading in the here-and-now as if it casts a light on circumstances of 100 years ago.) Whether the discontent was on the part of bankers isn't clear as of this writing but it could be since Jupiter's realms include banking, corporations, cabals, knighthood, ideology, religion, politics, the military, and other controversial fields in life.

Sun + Moon = Marriage

That momentous day in 1914 happened to be Franz and Sophie's 14th wedding anniversary and though this blogger is generally no huge fan of monarchies of any stripe, I feel the historically important couple deserves an expression of sadness here because few if any human beings should suffer such horror on what ought to be a happy day, or on any other day for that matter, political disagreements or not.

Now let's consider the Sun (male principle; husband) and Moon (feminine principle; wife) positions on their wedding day, June 28, 1900 to gain a small bit of insight into their partnership so tragically cut short. Though the hour of their nuptials is unknown, we find that the Moon during the 24 hours of that date remained in her own sign of Cancer with the Sun in Moon-ruled Cancer (5/6) as well--just as they are for today's New Moon @5Can30.

Immediately we sense that a double Cancer signature to their relationship denotes a family-oriented partnership full of nurturing, needs met, and contentment as kind hearts blend with romance yet with a streak of shrewdness mixed with clannishness.

The Water-Water nature of their marriage indicates lots of feelings, emotions, and creative imagination, even theatricality which would aid them with royal pageantry. Plus, a tendency is denoted to go misty with tears while 'drinking in life experiences'. However, reasoned objectivity may be sorely lacking and one may wish to speculate (one hundred years later!) that the ruling style of the Archduke could have used a portion of it rather than a boatload of emotional subjectivity. As for their marriage, perhaps they were sympatico and saw eye-to-eye to the point of never disagreeing with one another--is that possible? Since water tends to 'go with the flow', perhaps it is possible especially when The Family is placed upon the pedestal of both hearts.

Sun Cancer-Moon Cancer signifies a 'psychic sponge' tendency as well and on June 28, 1914, as they visited Sarajevo, the crowds appeared happy and perhaps elated to see the couple, as Sophie had remarked, and although those happy feelings the pair soaked up from the environment were genuine enough it didn't include several would-be assassins along the route taken by their car. With the Moon in critical Virgo that day, at least one man in particular, Gavrillo Princip, didn't share such happy feelings at all, in fact, for it was he who pulled the trigger shooting first Sophie, then the Archduke. This murderous act was subsequently used as justification for the outbreak of the First World War (WWI) to "end all war" and "make the world safe for democracy."

Yet few people in 2014 could fail to note that the absurd jingoistic slogans were only flimsy propaganda meant to lie populations into fighting what turned out to be a world war that led to World War II which then brought innocent people all over the world the horror of the 'abomination of desolation'--nuclear bombs.

And all so that wealthy old bald men could scam even more riches while viciously grasping the reins of regional, then global power. Their devilish plot continues...

When Niall Ferguson, author of The Pity of War, asserts that it was Britain, not Germany, who was responsible for the escalation of war from a continental war into a World War, he fails to mention that it was the House of Rothschild, owners of the Bank of England since the Battle of Waterloo, upon whom the ultimate blame for the horrors of WWI lie. Wars make tremendous fortunes for banking houses and weapons manufacturers, as you know.

T here is mania here with 'great force or strength manifesting in the relationship area' and 'sudden events' with a 'huge effort expended in some group activity' prominent, such as entering a continental conflict in order to start a global war--by a group of transnational bankers and 'win-win' wheeler-dealers who always back both sides of a conflagration.

Symbols of US natal Jupiter and the Treaty of Versailles

Usually with America's natal Jupiter, I mention its descriptive Sabian Symbol ("Game Birds Feathering Their Nests") but today, while working furiously to complete a Stars Over Washington Report concerning America's Jupiter Return of July 22, 2013, I took a break and consulted the symbol for our national Jupiter's degree (6 Cancer) in Adriano Carelli's The 360 Degrees of the Zodiac. Curiously, Carelli's explanation of '6Can' relates to money matters for when it comes to finances, our Jupiter in Cancer loves to do business, accrue interest, and invest for profit.

'6Can' = "Alcidiades, walking through Athens with his famous dog, whose 'most beautiful tail' he has cut."

Now I assume this refers to Alcibiades the beautiful, a contemporary of Socrates. Either way his name is spelled, his dog's tail was obviously more beautiful before it was cut.

Carelli goes on to explain that the symbol describes spendthrifts who have no practical sense, and those who are persuaded that "everything is due to" them. Vanity and extravagance are implied along with recklessness that brings ruin.

Sounds spot-on to me as I study the horoscope/s of America's last (and current until July 22, 2013) Jupiter Return, a three-fer full of the complex lead-up (and lies) to justify the initiation of reckless adventures abroad, plundering of national treasures, and the hopeless task of retaining territory as The West spreads across the globe in Jupiterian fashion. You'll recognize the overly expansive (and expensive) efforts of the Bush-Cheney regime by our three-fer Return dates: August 9, 2001, February 12, 2002, and March 15, 2002. The last two horoscopes contain a locomotive pattern with lead planet Pluto @17Sag+ conjunct Dick Cheney's natal Mars, if that tells you anything.

So what does '6Can' have to do with the Treaty of Versailles which marked the end of World War I? '6Can' is its signing's Sun degree on June 28, 1919. But in spite of all Jupiterian promises made at the time, the war-profiteering power elite internationalists didn't stop at one global war, did they?

Past Points to Future and Culprits Surround Us

Now here's a last interview recorded with the controversial Eustace Mullins whose book The Secrets of the Federal Reserve: The London Connection details actions and motives while naming many culprits from the past (1880s into the 20th century and into the 1980s of Ronald Reagan) of the financial and political realms. These are people whose biological and ideological descendants continue to bedevil and infest our nation to this very day.

While he was no less flawed than you or me, Mr. Mullins associated with those whom many now consider to be unsavory groups and individuals, it's true, yet if you don't think the shady financiers and politicians who met oh-so-secretly on Jekyll Island, Georgia in late November into early December 1910 in order to set up the Federal Reserve System of banks were unsavory themselves, then there's little to discuss when it comes to their long-serving bubble-boom-bust pattern highlighted by Financial Collapse 2008, the Crash of 1929, the Panic of 1907, etc, etc, both in the US and abroad.

As noted in the video below, the first loan made by 'The Fed' was to England so that World War One could be waged--and huge fortunes made (other sources confirm this.) Woodrow Wilson ran duplicitously for president on keeping the US out of the European war but that was only campaign propaganda meant to persuade the public so if any of this sounds familiar in our current conditions, there are very good reasons! Now how about a quote found in the Mullins book from the controversial 'mad' poet himself, Ezra Pound, an associate of Eustace Mullins (as is well-known); the quote appears in the book's Introduction and imho, has been proven in the New Millennium to contain several kernels of highly uncomfortable truth:
