Was the Great Seal's Eye of Horus Reversed for Propaganda Purposes?

And this is one of my concerns over a mysterious change to a symbol and the increasing public interest in the reverse side America's Great Seal with its 13-step pyramid and floating capstone's All-Seeing Eye of Horus. Some suggest that we're in the midst of a paradigm shift of consciousness which relates to a more feminine perspective in the collective unconscious as we 'lean forward' ("Hillary in 2016"??) and this may be true.

But the left-right brain hemispheres figure in as well along with the control of right eye-left eye. Why is this significant to America's Great Seal symbolism?

On July 13, 1856, artist, historian, and contributor to Harper's New Monthly Magazine, Benson Lossing, illustrated the reverse of the Great Seal with the All-Seeing Eye (of Horus, or, as America's Founding Fathers tended to call it, the Eye of Providence) but instead of publishing the image with the usual right eye (controller of our left-brain rational functions such as critical thinking and logic), Lossing drew the symbol on the capstone as a left eye indicating right-brain intuitive, feminine, non-verbal functions. The left eye represents what philosophers have long called The Window to the Soul for it reveals our true identities. In Astrology, the natal Moon sign signifies this along with childhood memories and the Unconscious. Of interest to those who appreciate Astrology's revealing capability is that the Sun (right eye, consciousness)--Moon (left eye, unconsciousness) blend which was in effect on July 13, 1856. Upon inspection, the Sun-Moon blend turns out to be Sun in ocean-related, Moon-ruled Cancer, and Moon in occult-loving, mystical Scorpio. Plus, in his book The Combination of Stellar Influences, Reinhold Ebertin gives the Sun-Moon combo as, The Eyes!

July 13, 1856: Sun Cancer-Moon Scorpio is a Water-Water blend which acts on the intuitive-feeling-imaginative level of consciousness which is misty-eyed, emotional, and nostalgic for the past. Was a subliminal signal being sent to the American people to subtly influence how we receive and process information? Well, we know we're one of the most propagandized populations in history, right? Or perhaps the signaled change was intended more for those who were involved in occult (hidden) activities? Was it time to change how the public was being fed information?

Or perhaps the switch was merely a slip or two of an artist's pen though for publication you'd think Mr. Lossing, who must have been quite detail-oriented, would have been much more careful with a national symbol, now wouldn't you?

Eye of the Phoenix--Secrets of the Dollar Bill

is a video presentation which has been embedded on SO'W before, but I'm rather cussedly posting it again for your consideration.

Few Americans think about US history involving such characters as astrologer Manly P. Hall and Russian mystic Nicholas Roerich. Yet even if you don't believe that 'occult activities' surrounded the administration of Freemason Franklin D. Roosevelt (among others), the video, which covers up to 1935, contains curiosities which may be viewed as amusing 'entertainment', if you wish:

Edit Oct 2022: Once there was another film (3 hours!) embedded in this post because it purported to reveal all sorts of secrets about the founding of America, the dollar bill, Nicholas Roerich, Thomas Jefferson, John Adams, Francis Bacon, America's Great Seal, and other people and topics with occult (hidden) themes--I embedded it because our nation continues to be affected by the Utopian, Luciferian ideals of past generations through present operatives and agents whose works we observe in Washington DC. Solar Eclipses of 1935

The year 1935 is when the pyramid and capstone with the All-Seeing Eye (of surveillance! also called the Eye of Horus, Providence, Phoenix, etc) was placed upon the dollar bill by the FDR administration. It's one of those rare years when 5 Solar Eclipses manifested (along with 2 Lunar Eclipses, listed below.) Let's take a look at the themes of the 5 Solar Eclipses just to get a sense of the background influences and flavors of 1935:

1. Jan 5, 9 Old North @14Cap: my source, Brady's Predictive Astrology, gives no theme for this Saros Series but we may surmise that Capricornian issues of government, law, and business were ahoof with tones of seriousness, conscientiousness, authority, and a need to "correct wrongful karmic situations and to guide others along the spiritual path." (Rose Lineman);

That 'the path' may be of a Luciferian nature is the question especially since Cap is the sign of The Goat (of Mendes) and is considered a mystical, occult sign containing a labyrinth. Of course, the symbol of the Goat of Mendes is also said to represent wisdom and other more positive things than satanism--yet I know you remember that Dubya was reading My Pet Goat in the classroom when he was informed that the attacks of 9/11/01 had been accomplished;

2. Feb 3, 9 New North @14AQ: sudden physical exertions, accidents, violence. (Last occurred March 19, 2007);

3. June 30, 9 Old South @8Can: falls between US natal Sun and Jupiter--again, no theme listed but in the sign of the sidewinding crab, Cancerian issues are denoted along with the president (Sun, 14Can) and ideology and money supply (our Jupiter at the "Game Birds Feathering Their Nests" degree of 6Can); we may expect potentials to include: security, shrewd business maneuvers, emotional extremes, receptivity and imagination, selfishness (also a typical trait of Capricorn), genealogy, family matters, and fated or karmic ties; Series ended in 1971 @29Can oppposite US natal Pluto in Cap;

4. July 30, New South @6Leo: great yet possibly constructive energy supplied by a Mars-Pluto influence, idealism, and the uniting of loved ones; (last manifested on Sept 11, 2007 @18Vir);

5. Dec 25, 10 North @3Cap: frustrating news, inhibiting events, focus on communications, young people, paperwork; tiring and draining; last manifested on Feb 7, 2008, the year of the Great Bush Depression; next occurs in 2026 @29AQ, near US natal Moon.)

Lunar Eclipses of 1935: Jan 19 @29Cancer and July 26 @23Capricorn, further emphasizing the security and authority axis of Cancer-Capricorn and its ambitious if depressive Moon-Saturn influences. This degree is where karmic Saturn and Pluto meet on January 12, 2020.

Anything to keep from typing the bromance-y names, "Paul Ryan" and "Mitt Romney" for a while...actually, the following documentary is particularly fascinating for those who are curious about Early America, Freemasonry's and Rosicrucianism's roles in the founding of the 'New Atlantis' (that shining city on a hill, D.C.), mystic and astrologer to *FDR, Nicolas Roerich (Oct 9, 1874 NS '12:00 pm' St. Petersburg, Russia), Sir Francis Bacon (born a Tudor, some say--and Queen Elizabeth's son), Blavatsky, Benjamin Creme, Manly P. Hall, Scottish Jacobites exiled to America and bringing along the 'Stone of Destiny' or 'Holy Grail' in pre-Revolutionary days, Gnostic Templarism, a long-range plan by secret societies for the ultimate establishment--and satanic idea--of a global new world order, and much more!

You may find one of Roerich's natal midpoint pictures quite interesting:

Mercury-Pluto = Uranus: 'an irresistible power of suggestion; fanatic pursuit of plans'. (Ebertin.) Either of these possibilities tallies rather closely with what I've read of this Occult practitioner--and something of a guru was he.

*It was under FDR's watch that the capstone-pyramid-Eye of Horus was first printed upon the US dollar bill; in Jonathan Alter's The Defining Moment, the author mentions that Nicolas Roerich was an associate (astrologer) of Franklin Delano Roosevelt during FDR's presidency, thanks to Henry Wallace (mentioned in the video above) and as you know, FDR was a Freemason as have been many US presidents. Funny how mainstream authors tend to leave out such biographical info about their subjects such as, "initiated into the __ Lodge of Grand Orient Templars" and other such esoteric tidbits as that.
