Yet my thanks must go to David Pakman for spotlighting the shady surveillance sneakiness perpetrated by the House, Senate, and President Obama concerning CISA, the bill they all well know that the American public never wanted which makes CISA the legislation no one has been waiting for:

Harry Truman's NSA and Pluto's Covert Actions

Today as I consider the natal horoscope of the National Intelligence Agency (NSA) and its draconian collection of Americans' phone call and email data along with the natal chart of President Harry Truman, I think back to a few snippets that were posted here in October 2010, the gist of which actually concerns all three branches of surveillance and covert actions in the USA: the CIA, the FBI, and the NSA:

(GlobalResearch) – By assigning covert action roles to the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), it is as if the White House and Congress had legitimized the Ku Klux Klan to operate globally. That’s because the CIA today resembles nothing so much as the “Invisible Empire” of the KKK that once spread terror across the South and Midwest. Fiery crosses aside, this is what the CIA is doing globally.

Allowing it to operate in secret literally gives the CIA the mythical Ring of Gyges. In Plato’s Republic, the owner of the ring had the power to become invisible at will. As Wikipedia puts it, Plato “discusses whether a typical person would be moral if he did not have to fear the consequences of his actions.” The ancient Greeks made the argument, Wikipedia says, that “No man would keep his hands off what was not his own when he could safely take what he liked out of the market, go into houses and lie with any one at his pleasure, kill or release from prison whom he would, and in all respects be like a god among men.” The CIA, like Hitler’s Gestapo and Stalin’s NKVD before it, has provided modern man the answer to this question. Its actions illuminate why all criminal entities, from rapists and bank robbers, to Ponzi scheme swindlers and murderers, cloak themselves in secrecy.

There are innumerable examples of how American presidents have authorized criminal acts without public discussion that the preponderant majority of Americans would find reprehensible. Example: it was President Lyndon Johnson who ordered the CIA to meddle in Chile’s election to help Eduardo Frei become president. If they had known, U.S. taxpayers might have objected to such a use of their hard-earned money to influence the outcome of another country’s elections. But the public is rarely let in on such illegal foreign policy decisions.

A Few Astro-Notes Concerning the NSA and Its Father, Harry Truman

The NSA formed when one of our Freemason Presidents, Harry Truman, signed a memorandum on October 24, 1952 at 10:45 am EST Washington DC; ASC 22Sag35, MC 28Sco55; 8th house Sun 1Sco10, Moon 11Cap37 conjunct 12th cusp of Politics, Karma, Self-Undoing, and Secret Enemies. Midpoint: Sun-Saturn = Neptune: inner peculiarities; mental, emotional, physical crises. Pluto 23Leo02 squared Harry Truman's natal Sun (18Tau39) denoting possible coercion and manipulation via threats to his power position and influence. Although, as a high ranking Freemason, our 33rd president may have been happily in cahoots with the formation of such an agency for the sake of the eventual implementation of Global Government. Leo and Taurus are, after all, Fixed signs of rigidity.

Plus, we must note that Truman was born under a Mercury-Pluto conjunction in very early Gemini, ruled by Mercury, planet of the senses such as sight and hearing. This resonates with America's natal Mercury-Pluto opposition of total surveillance and dealing with, hiding, and wielding secrets. Curiously, considering the current (staged!) debate on the Patriot Act, the May 20, 2012 Solar Eclipse @00Gem conjoined Truman's Pluto (00:24) and Mercury (1Gem16 Rx, both in natal 8th house of the Occult, Transformation, Corporatism, and Death--Harry did drop the first nuclear bomb though it had already been sanctioned by FDR) in the 14 South Series contains Mercury-Pluto themes of success once obsessive ideas are finally accepted (Brady). The 14S eclipse of 2012 was a major turning point for global society and manifested upon the sensitive degree of a Fixed Star in the constellation Pleiades, Alcyone (keywords: something to cry about and mystical but judgmental). Now at Truman's NSA signing, another transit relating to ego and goals of Truman's Sun is that transit Jupiter was Rx and in process of conjoining his natal Sun, a time of overconfidence when a culmination of something begun about 12 years before is being reached--in or around 1940 for Truman; this endeavor needed to be either elevated to a higher level or discontinued at that time (1952). A greater attainment of knowledge (ex: spying) is a major part of this Sun-Jupiter picture. Additionally, Jupiter nears Truman's natal Neptune (20Tau41--a Sun-Neptune conjunction for hiding-in-plain-sight-yet-veiled Harry) indicating a time of pretense, illusion, delusion, paranoia, and fanaticism. Sounds exactly like Washington DC in 2015, doesn't it?!

Since the attacks of 9/11/01, we've watched as the agency's anti-constitutional nature has grown and expanded since 1952 and most people agree that the NSA's dependence upon Pluto's cloak of invisibility has been undemocratic from the start.

As for the (June 1, 2015 midnight) sunset provision within the US Patriot Act (section 215), an Act that purports to legalize the massive data collection of US citizens' communications for no logical reason, transit Pluto remains in the neighborhood of the NSA's natal Moon in Capricorn bringing potentials for a deeper transformation through publicity and public scrutiny than the agency is comfortable with, intense turmoil within its own ranks and on Capitol Hill (thanks to Senators Rand Paul's and Ron Wyden's objections to the NSA's massive data collection aimed at innocent Americans as the agency misses finding real needles in real-problem haystacks because of an obsession with knowing it all and using personal info against us later), and their over-zealousness which may cause loss of at least some of their power and control--it is to be hoped for the sake of our right to privacy.

Not that they won't continue surveillance of the innocent under another guise...

Some time ago I published a version of the CIA natal horoscope if you wish to view it. In July 2014, the CIA will be 67 years old and you'd think they'd be better at this secrets thing than to allow the name of their station head in Afghanistan to be on a list sent to the White House so that the pool of the president's advisers could be published.

Of course, the White House dropped the secrets anvil on its own foot with this one.

Now if we take the CIA's natal Sun-Moon personality blend to be Leo (Fire)/Scorpio (Water)--a group of proud, arrogant (Leo) spies and betrayers (Scorpio)--we find that this combo of energies produces a fanatical 'by hook or crook' determination toward success, the Machiavellian model. Phobias and cynicism abound in tandem with 'an inscrutable self-belief'. This blend's tendency to be upfront on the outside while hiding a labyrinth of secrets within is a perfect description of the agency.

Sun Leo-Moon Scorpio may sometimes undermine itself, usually via its darkly suspicious nature, or by over-extending itself. Interference from others is never appreciated to say the least and this 'outing' of the station chief's name must be excruciatingly embarrassing for them (unless it was done on purpose--perhaps by a rogue agent? just a thought!) For continuing their secret work in Afghanistan the outing is definitely a rain on their secrets parade if not a thunderstorm soaking into their imagined infallibility.

Oh What a Tangled Web We Weave: Awkward!

Yes, CIA imperiousness has received a pinprick, all right, but it isn't enough for the organization to deflate from its overblown influence in the world though many wish it would. Even the creature's creator, President Truman, expressed regret at what he had unleashed upon the world--after it was too late to rein in its illuminating, infiltrating presence. No doubt he was 'advised' on its creation.

My suspicion is that the agency's extremist qualities prevail and its not-a-good-loser personality is squirming a little but its mission and self-belief remain intact. Ever loyal to its own, it will be interesting to see if the one who made up the 'manifesto'--the list of names of the president's advisers on his weekend trip to Afghanistan--will be revealed though I don't expect that any proverbial 'heads will roll' for the mistake, do you? At least not in public--unless a show of improvement and accountability are deemed necessary for public relations purposes (or to save a little face for the White House where someone should have noticed the glare sooner.)

The CIA's imperious Sun Leo-Moon Scorpio blend is shared natally by Steve Martin ('King' Tut!), Alfred Hitchcock, Stanley Kubrick, and King Louis XVI. The blend has two 'Images for Integration' which may or may not to seem to apply to the CIA:

Of course, the 'divine child' refers to Leo, and the first image makes me think of the CIA being more powerful than any president (they've certainly overthrown a few presidents and dictators, haven't they?) with the US president as 'the Sun' (America's cult of personality); the second image reminds me of collusion between monarchs and certain entities that pull strings across the globe..."mysterious" being the CIA and its reputed Jesuit connection to the Vatican and to money laundering via Big Banks and the Corporations protected by the CIA.

The 'fateful' quality reminds me of the natural law of karma--reaping what was sown--and this is a Higher Law that no organization, group, or person, no matter how powerful and controlling, will ultimately avoid: paying for past actions.

LeCarre outs James Bond as "neo-fascistic"

A few months ago I picked up my tattered, yellowed paperback copy of The Spy Who Came in from the Cold and happily reread it. The last time must have been over 20 years ago. Even yellowed, the drama kept its grim sparkle intact.

So when I heard that author John LaCarre, former MI5 and MI6 agent for Britain back in the day, had outed Ian Fleming's character James Bond as not really a spy but "something neo-fascistic and totally materialistic it seemed quite interesting to me.

So I smiled enigmatically (rather as George Smiley might do) and knew I just had to pass on this tidbit to you.

In fact, Raw Story's article has a link to LeCarre's opinion piece from 2003 which appeared in The Times of London entitled, "The United States has gone mad." And we had. And our mad spell continues 7+ years later with 'leaders' who promote the same old military and weapons economy that obscenely enriches the few while costing the many so dearly -- to their very lives.

Now I'm wondering if the world has been well-served by the British Empire morphing into the American Empire and the global crime syndicate's use of the United States of America as its military and enforcement arm.

Actually, I'm being a cheeky monkey here for I'm not wondering at all. For those who care for the common good of their fellow man and woman already know the answer.

Michael Hayden infiltrates Capitol Hill backroom

Due to spychief Hayden's secret meeting with Congressional enablers today, here's the link to a previous post on Michael Hayden's natal chart with the transits for the day of the never adequately explained gunfire in the Rayburn Building.
