Will Palin prez run 2012 bring Obama's 2nd term?

Woot! As my friend American Patriot notes, if Sarah Palin runs for president in 2012, a second Obama term may be guaranteed.

Me? Not as certain because a lot can happen between now and 2012/13 including Palin's loss (or increase) of political influence. And even with Moon 1Gem26 (we-the-people) in 1st house with Jupiter 6Gem27 Rx, the Inauguration Horoscope of January 21, 2013 isn't telling much about presidential gender but it does, however, occur under the rays of the 15 North Solar Eclipse of November 13, 2012 @ 22 Scorpio, a degree with the Sabian Symbol: "Hunters Shooting Wild Ducks."

A "cultural ritual" like a presidential inauguration? Quack!

Well, Jan 21, 2013's 1st house Inaugural Moon in early Gemini is just before completing a Lunar Return (3:21) for President Obama, and Jupiter's position shows that the Jolly One will have recently conjoined Mr. Obama's natal Moon, a time of grand desires, emotional satisfaction, and popularity - yes, popularity!

The 15N Series has a flavor of 'joy through commitment' (Brady's Predictive Astrology) so apparently whomever is victorious in the 2012 US presidential election will feel quite happy about it.

Yet a caution is that South Node 23Tau is in 1st house and rising, not an auspicious indicator and showing separations of some kind and reliance on past behaviors and talents. From the past, this degree relates to the Great Conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn of May 28, 2000 @ '23Tau' = "A Jewelry Shop Filled with Valuable Gems."

So who knows? Maybe by 2012, few will care whether Sarah Palin wants to run for prez or not. One thing everyone knows: if she does plan to run, she's got an awful lot of studyin' and learnin' and info-retainin' to do.

Bright X-Ray Solar Flare from Sunspot 1121

BRIGHT SOLAR FLARE: Active sunspot 1121 has just unleashed one of the brightest x-ray solar flares in several years, an M5.4-class eruption at 15:36 UT on Nov 6th. Radiation from the flare created a wave of ionization in Earth's upper atmosphere that altered the propagation of low-frequency radio waves. There was, however, no bright CME (plasma cloud) hurled in our direction, so the event is unlikely to produce auroras in the nights ahead.

Now you know that sunspots are implicated in the New Millennium/'2012' prophecy scenarios frequently touted here and there in the modern, if trendy, mainstream and usually based on the Mayan Calendar's ending date of December 21, 2012 (if translations and calculations are correct) - and Venus is a major culprit, it is said.

Today, with Venus in Scorpio's current situation of Rxing back into Libra (and thus conjoining my Sec SN), then slowly picking up steam as she careens through the smoldering sign of Scorpio once again and out of her own slinky shadow (13Sco13 and beyond), I'm not in the mood this Sabbath Day for typing out loud about end-time topics...at least, not in the popular online-kinda-way we've all come to expect.

Winter Solstice 2010 Horoscope

Fresh from the December 21, 2010 Lunar Eclipse, this year's Winter Solstice Moon in 12th house clocks in at 8Can13 as the Sun reaches 00Cap00:00. In Washington DC on Dec 21, 2010, the annual solar event occurs at 6:38:22 pm est with 24Can21 rising which brings up America's natal Mercury Rx opposing natal Pluto 27Cap33 Rx (US planets are notated outside the chart; please click to enlarge.)

It's an Hour of Jupiter 25Pis20 conjunct Uranus 26Pis47, both now moving directly and in the Winter Solstice's 9th house. Chart-ruler Moon applies to three aspects:

1. Moon square Mc 8Ari41 (0A28);
2. Moon opposite Mars (2A27);
3. Moon trine Venus (6A14.)

Moon square MC indicates domestic and career problems which jeopardize public reputations; Moon oppo Mars indicates irrational actions, impatience, overspending, quarrels, and potential criminal activity; Moon trine Venus describes harmony, empathy, and pleasant conditions, especially for women, artists, and musicians.

Therefore, at least some difficult conditions at the start of Winter season 2010 may improve before Spring 2011 - I hope so!

Perhaps the Moon/South Node contact in 12th house should be mentioned for it shows separations, bad timing due to difficult circumstances (ex: being too late for a job interview because car is too expensive to repair and the bus runs late, etc), isolation that leads to depression, and a feeling of 'being alone against the world'. Yet with concentrated effort and strength of character, adversity will be met with courage and determination - plow on through, m'peops!

But yes, Moon/SN points to karmic conditions (past behaviors that no longer bring good results) as does the Moon's position in the karmic 12th house for the Winter season. Hospitals and other large institutions experience fluctuating conditions with Moon in 12th house, and certainly chronic health issues of the people (Moon) are triggered. US natal Mars conjoins 12th cusp 22Gem10 showing a karmic undoing relating to males in general, but specifically to police and military forces; plus, warring Mars rules Midheaven, the Aspiration Point of any chart.

As you see, 8th house of Debt and Shared Resources contains the ongoing, when-will-it-ever-end duo of wounding Chiron and nebulous Neptune still sitting astride US natal Moon (we-the-people) so we may expect the Neptunian onslaught of fraud, floods, toxins, homelessness, debts, and mortgage issues to continue into 2011.

In 4th house, the Foundation of the chart, we see Saturn 16Lib08 in process of our US Saturn Return (14Lib48) when chickens come home to roost and accountability must be faced. Perhaps bank managers (Saturn) will be facing hard questions about their robo-signing habits and other legal abnormalities in the foreclosure process. Plus, in 4th house, Saturn may indicate mining accidents or issues, and real estate delays and losses...Saturnian conditions in the homeland with Saturn ruling 8th house (co-ruled by disruptive Uranus bwo Aquarius.)

Yet Venus 14Sco27 (sign of Big Business and Surveillance) is in 4th house as well and conjoins US Inaugural Descendant showing foreign or hidden evaluations and relationships which (since chart-ruler Moon trines Venus) may bring some relief to our housing woes (Venus rules Ic) - or bring us the 'slippery slope' a trine may so easily provide.

Mercury 25Sag25 Rx in 6th house is the ruler (dispositor) of US natal Mars and may show preparations for troop movements (6th house = police and military service as well as Health and Work.)

Sun 00Cap00:00 is apex in two midpoint combinations of energies:

Mercury/Pluto = Sun: a persuasive speaker; communication skills; keen observations; prudence and vision; a desire for recognition; championing an idea or attitude that prevails; determination to use force to obtain or locate information; enhanced authority or prestige among people who control important information or news.

Mercury/NN = Sun: added focus on the effectiveness and importance of the message presented; well-coordinated personal ventures; a life philosophy; urge to exchange ideas with others.

Now obviously, the Mercury/NN combo has to do with meetings where discussions take place, also with discussions involving young people, reporters, traders, etc - any and all mercurial implications are being encountered. North Node 2Cap44 is apex point in two midpoint pictures...

Sun/Pluto = NN: fateful associations; separations; a lack of adaptability (in Washington?!!); meeting the powerful; very special new attachments; other people inspire development of a stronger will or purpose.

So how about the T-Squares formed, all with the Moon as one 'leg'? Moon/Mars appears on Mc, the others opposite Mc:

Well, Mars 10Cap39 is out-of-bounds so who knows what he's up to as he continues opposing by transit our nation's Cancerian planets (Venus, Jupiter, Sun in the 3 - 14Cancer degree range); next Mars will oppose natal Sun which can be an ego-bruising time for the President (Sun) and thus the nation when complete success isn't possible. There may even be a loss of integrity during this period for the opinions and actions of others do not support his leadership (we don't need a horoscope to tell us this.)

Actually, now that I think about it, this out-of-bounds Mars (acting on his own and as a troublemaker), exalted in Capricorn and able to focus his energies with great efficiency, may just be the primary actor who runs away with the entire Winter Solstice 2010 horoscope as Mars nears opposition to America's natal Mercury (plans and ideas are dismissed out of hand), then conjoins US natal Pluto, a time when something forceful of a karmic nature may come along and simply - or seemingly - have to be done.

The Fed: "Return to Jekyll Island" w a Scorpio New Moon

In what may be considered by some a 'return to the scene of the crime', today and Saturday, members of the Federal Reserve Bank are again meeting on Jekyll Island, Georgia, where their shadowy entity, the private and central bank of America, was hatched in response (allegedly) to the bankers' Panic of 1907.

If the script sounds familiar since Financial Collapse 2007/2008, it should.

Here's something I wrote on the topic in February 2010 with a link to an article by astrologer Jessica Murray who shares many of my feelings about the Creature from Jekyll Island...the Fed.

Now their meeting is taking place under the rays of a New Moon 13Sco40 which conjoins the retrograde station degree of Venus (October 8, 2010) and with Venus' role in evaluations, she's proving important in financial considerations with the steps the Fed has taken this week to dabble in and tinker with the US economy.

Now Venus performs her station direct in 2 weeks (Nov 18) @ 27Lib40 and will leave her shadow (move past the degree of Rx station 13Sco13) the third week of December 2010 - just in time for Christmas but in tandem with the financially worrisome Lunar Eclipse of December 21, 2010 which seems to indicate market problems (crisis-turning point YOD directed toward the eclipse's 8th cusp when set for Washington DC; asteroid Midas and Pan nearby in 8th house; chart image included.)

Let's look at the Sun Scorpio-Moon Scorpio of the New Moon which signifies the Fed meeting today and tomorrow on Jekyll Island. A Water-Water blend can 'go with the flow' and is highly imaginative and intuitive; Scorpio is the sign of Big Business,
Finance, Secrets, and Transformation.

New Moons in Scorpio are about gathering all info and becoming an adept (as mentioned in my American Empire: When Jupiter Bowed to the Sun article in the just-released Fall 2010 issue of Eclipse magazine - the US had a Progressed New Moon in Scorpio in relation to the article's topic.)

Sun Sco-Moon Sco: astutely perceptive, intensely private, wary, and stubborn with uncompromisingly strong convictions. There is a jealous and sarcastic flavor, too, with relentless willpower and a crusading nature.

This double Scorpio combo is loathe to share its fears and tends to take itself too seriously; its cynicism can be limiting.

Sharing this blend in his natal chart is Dracula author Bram Stoker, whose words may apply to today's topic:

Obama speaks as 20Cap13 rises 11.3.10

President Obama is scheduled to speak today at 1:00 pm edt from the White House concerning yesterday's midterm 'rebuke' of his presidency, policies, and legislation. In the US, the continued sorry job market (partially encouraged by the GOP-leaning Chamber of Commerce - this isn't rocket science, folks) has soured many of the people who voted Obama in 2008 and his and his wife's rhetorical efforts to turn out the base/s didn't go over as was wished.

That the Dem campaign flopped did go over well in quarters where crashing the Obama presidency was the primary goal, for the GOP looks toward another White House take-over in 2012. A rejuvenation of the neocon-warhawk-Vulcan crowd so that a majority of the American people haplessly choose their leadership in 2012 (again?) describes our unconscious national South Node in Aquarius at work, yet expecting different results for the same behavior is neurotic!) and if another neocon White House appears in 2012/13 it will be one of the greatest coups on a long list.

Yet I can hardly wait to see the financial rabbit the Republicans will helpfully pull out of their top hats now to repair the messes they engineered from 2000 - 2008...it should make quite a show!

As President Obama speaks today at 1:00 pm edt: 20Cap13 ASC (20Can13 DESC = degrees of crisis) with 13Sco16 at Mc (the Rx Station degree of Venus on Oct 8, 2010, what Julie Demboski has called 'buyer's remorse' over Obama and I agree such a dynamic is at work here in the hinterlands. Inside the beltway, our Inaugural Moon 2009's void-of-course condition tells the tale of things not going as planned as the Moon (we-the-people) have disengaged from the Obama-as-Apollo script - and stayed home from the polling booth yesterday (yet I voted - did you?)

You remember that was a crisis-degreed Inaugural Moon 29Sco45...'30Sco' = "A Halloween Jester." Tricks abound while the water BHO seemingly walked on in 2008 now floods our homeland with foreclosures, fraud, toxins, poisons, and losses of all sorts.

Today the Sun 11Sco10 is highlighting an interesting asteroid, Osiris. Someone - or their influence - is scattered, and perhaps I might say, the nation will now be cut into shreds with redistricting, a tactic the GOP has honed to perfection for decades. But will the GOP-leaning Chamber of Commerce release the reins of corporate hiring in order to make yesterday's GOP victories look good for Republican chances in 2012?

Oppressively, Mr. Obama speaks with Moon 7Lib10 in 8th house of Shared Resources, Debt, and Transformation and Luna soon conjoins the Democratic Party's natal ruler, Saturn @ 11Lib47. This on one level describes the dire financial conditions of the people and the depressing family circumstances which the Obama administration has failed to completely address as of yet. Jobs, jobs, jobs!

Rising at 1:00 pm edt today at the White House is the Uranus/Mc midpoint so we see that: Uran/Mc = ASC (his speech): sudden adjustments to new circumstances.

Another chart factor I wish to mention as the president speaks is a difficult transiting midpoint: Mars/Saturn 8Sco12 which is sitting upon President Obama's natal Neptune: insufficient power to tackle resistance; waning powers and weakening efforts; danger through gas, water, poison, or an epidemic (using Ebertin today.)

President Obama's current political troubles issue from, imho, the 'New President Solar Eclipse' of January 26, 2009 @ 6AQ30 which manifested upon America's natal South Node, a Saturnian, separative point. This 'supports' the effect of the V.O.C Moon of January 20, 2009 as an impatient we-the-people look for quicker returns for our political investments, and our fears are played upon by political operatives and corporate titans with a neocon agenda hiding underneath their new 'jobs creation' ploy.

How the Rs will act from the extreme right while keeping us mum will bring quite a Political Theater series of performances. Will they disregard the majority opinion as before? Why not? John Boehner has already spoken of the "mandate" they imagine they won yesterday as if the GOP is in our good graces and can act as before, or worse.

Sending wet-behind-the-ears reps to serve on Capitol Hill, that bastion with its temples of Freemasonry, may be a mixed blessing and not as game-changing in ways many Americans will wish. With Mr. Obama not reconsidering his policy agenda - and blaming his political woes on his administration's off-the-mark communications - bodes unwell for a presidency that may now be tempted to move toward the right in ways most of us won't like either. Have his policies been too leftie or too rightie?, the talking heads have asked repeatedly. Is his natal Saturn Rx in late Capricorn (conjoining natal Jupiter 00AQ Rx) vying for Saturnian control of his policy leanings?

Yes, Restriction vs Expansion has certainly been a basic part of the to-stimulate-or-not-to-stimulate debate...to rescue auto-makers or let them fail....expanding (Jup) deficit (Sat), etc. Sadly for our economy, Mr. Obama's Saturnian restrictions over gone-wild Wall Street firms took second place to Jupiter's too-big-to-fail argument and his financial reform is near-toothless when it comes to fundamental changes.

Status quo Saturn in its own business-oriented sign of Cap has ruled his psyche, I believe, and high flying Jupiter in erudite AQ (conjoining US Inaugural Sun, for crimey's sake! And in Jan 2009, conjunct Inaugural Mercury Rx as well; higher marks go to Saturn within his dissociate conj of Jup/Sat) isn't driving. Repairing and tinkering with the established system from the inside has always been BHO's game otherwise he wouldn't be sitting in the Oval Office at all since the powers-that-be had to be convinced of his allegiance to the Bigger Picture.

(I see Rs and Ds as mere factions of the same organization of rulers who bow to the power elite which opposes the wishes and bank accounts of we-the-people; you may see them as you wish!)

One of my deepest frets concerning the Obama presidency has been re-triggered this week since election results reveal a potential for the global string-pullers who lurk behind the US government (and who have proven that they think nothing of playing each party against the other) to be the ones changing Washington's course from D to R. As a foil for the president to play off of, a Republican House can be helpful, however, if he'll take how-to directions from Bill Clinton.

Yet the midterm party-switch, visited upon the public through propaganda and other tricks for months now, resounds to the power elite's higher plan which makes US campaigns and election results mere drops of mass persuasion in the global bucket of mental and emotional control. They are determined to rule the roost which makes our subjugation an imperative.

After all, the Saturn (status quo; the past; accountability) and Uranus (progress; disruption; rebellion; independence) pair have been the signature of the election of Barack Obama - you remember that the two antithetical planets opposed one another on Election Day 2008.

But now, Saturn and Uranus are quindecile (165 degr) one another - an aspect of obsession-compulsion working on an unconscious level - which tells an interesting political tale that we may wish to consider given yesterday's midterm results.

In her ground-breaking book The Quindecile, Ricki Reeves notes that the Saturn/Uranus quindecile indicates 'a drive to break old and outdated concepts through the use or innovative ideas' (Tea Partisans?) and that these forces 'may disrupt governing systems (and) break rules through defiance of law and order'; the benefit comes through 'making societal changes for the betterment of humankind'.

November Midterms 2010 have been closely affected by the 'New President Eclipse' of Jan 26, 2009, as stated. Celeste Teal titled this Solar Eclipse, "Reform and Resistance" and though I was hoping that all would be improved for our and the world's betterment, it seems the resistance has only just begun.

Now I must hope we may 'serve and transcend' the past behaviors of our South Node (the Dragon's Tail) as represented by US natal SN (which was conjoined by the Jan 26, 2009 Solar Eclipse; eclipses are 'wild cards' which can act positively or negatively, or some combination; the GOP decided to hinder, defame, and obstruct the presidency of Barack Obama when they could've done good stuff on behalf of the American people.

Now it's two years on and obviously, the GOP didn't want Mr. Obama to receive any credit at all; our nation's problems have stood in the middle - our frustrations and losses have been of no moment to the GOP's Fail Obama Plan, yet now they supposedly are - puh!)

But yes, new ideas and innovations are required, it's true. That the corporate oligarchy of the US will allow anything fundamental to change concerning our nation's trajectory as an international police force (that ignores the basic needs of its people) is doubtful, no matter who's in our ill-thought-of Congress.

Listening now to Amy Goodman's interview with Ralph Nader, I was moved to check out Mr. Nader's website and found two articles he's just mentioned: one about corporate serfdom, the other with Ten Questions for the Tea Party.

When Corporations Are the Government is one of Nader's articles that I intend to read after I motor back from the city...and his latest book is entitled Only the Super-Rich Can Save Us (can we wake up old J. P. Morgan?)

For me his book may be too much of a "utopian fantasy" or dream though because whenever I read the word 'utopia' I get the political creeps of the Sir Francis Bacon-Adam Weishaupt kind.

Here is the first obvious case of voter fraud I've found so far today where robocalls have been telling Kansas citizens to show up with proof of home ownership on Wednesday November 3!

Yet I have faith that all the good citizens of Kansas have been paying closer attention to our election process than to fall for a Republican trick of that illegal nature.

Sounds like someone running in Kansas needs all the help they can get, doesn't it?

And so I return to something I've been known to post here before - it's a Note to Mr. Rove and all political handmaidens of his ilk: cheating isn't winning. It's stealing.

On Karl Rove's subpoena (video) and Pluto/NN

Trying to catch up after having out-of-town guests this weekend is proving difficult for I've missed a lot of politickin' the last 3 or 4 days. But you know I have to begin by posting this video concerning the October 24, 2010 serving of a subpoena upon Karl Rove, that warmongering goose stepper I adore despising for the lies he's helped perpetrate upon our nation and the lives his ambition has cost.

Served as he arrived for a segment on Face the Nation, at 10:00 am edt in Washington DC on Sunday October 24, 2010, we see that 00Sag338 rises with '1Sag' being the symbol of: "A Grand Army of the Republic Campfire"; Mars 27Sco21 has just risen identifying a contentious reaction to having to give a deposition when you've operated for decades without ever testifying under oath concerning your political actions, misdirections, indiscretions, and law-breaking.

On Oct 24, the Sun @ 1Sco03 is somewhat auspicious since October 24, 2010 marked the 17th birthday of the current NWO-ers with that 'new order' planetary pair, the enlightened Uranus and Neptune, who met three times in 1993 with their 3rd conjunction standing in as a modern day 'NWO natal horoscope' with Sun 1Sco19.

Another possible NWO natal horoscope is for the last time Uranus and Neptune hooked up in Great Conjunction: March 21, 1821. This may be the primary date which will act as a natal horoscope for the previous incarnation of the NWO but I've not completed my sleuthing into the matter so it's inconclusive at this juncture; a 4-second orb on that date for Uranus and Neptune is their closest approach I've found so far.

However, on March 21, 1821, genius Uranus and inspirational Neptune met at 3Cap01 - where transiting Pluto and tr North Node are trouncing about lately (Pluto conjoins NN on Nov 9, 2010 @ 3Cap38; tr Moon reaches 3Cap38 on that date at 3:13 pm edt, DC; Pluto/NN = common destiny of a large mass of people, Moon = the people, so I keep mentioning their triple conjunction though no one seems to notice. I will be interested in keeping an eye on the news for any big meetings or summits held on or near Nov 9, 2010. Perhaps you already know of one?)

We Love Jon S. and Stephen C.; We Do Not Love Karl Rove

Interestingly, both Pluto and NN were rising at noon on Saturday Oct 30, 2010 for Jon Stewart's and Stephen Colbert's rallies in Washington DC to Restore Sanity and/or Fear. (Astrological Saturn is associated with both sanity and fear! And with the accountability Jon shouted out for regarding the culpable media and cable TV.)

Yes, I really appreciate Jon Stewart's serious remarks about the US and the pi*s-poor job the press with its 24/7 news cycle is doing 'for' democracy. And yes, I agree that it is only in Washington DC and in the press that things in America are not 'working'; Washington's obsessive belly-button gazing is the joke of the planet!

So. The subpoena served to Mr. Rove at 10:00 am on Oct 24, 2010 also shows two asteroids rising with quarrelsome activist Mars: Eros (the piercing) and power asteroid, Hidalgo. You may remember the BP-Gulf Oil blowout chart with Hidalgo rising at...curiously enough...'1Sag'...that 'Grand Old Army' degree again.

Plus, the first midpoint to rise in the Rove-subpoena horoscope is Sun/Pluto 2Sag08 so we have:

Sun/Pluto = ASC: suppression of the environment for the attainment of one's own aspirations; experiencing the ruthlessness of others; a crisis of self-preservation. (Ebertin.)

Well, it seems Mr. Rove assumed he would suppress the environment as usual while appearing on Face the Nation but the ruthlessness of others stepped on his happy Sunday morning dream scenario and quashed it a bit.

One chart factor worth mentioning is a major transit for anyone (and not everyone experiences it in a lifetime): tr Pluto 3Cap13 to Mr. Rove's natal Sun (birth time unknown but his hatch date is Dec 25, 1950 in Denver, CO.) This places his natal Sun around 3Cap41, give or take, and obviously, the current positions of transiting Pluto and NN conjoin his natal Sun.

Tr Pluto to n Sun marks a time when more power, control, influence, and recognition are desired; if one has been ruthless or aggressive in the past, an increase of both may be expected; independent actions taken may be courageous or foolhardy; a new start is indicated yet the past will have much influence upon how things proceed.

With the karmic nature of slow-moving Pluto involved, perhaps his shady past (Pluto rules the Underworld) is attempting to catch up with him. The position of his n Saturn @ 2Lib06 shows us he's recently experienced a Saturn Return when taking responsibility for past actions may be demanded. (Plus, the trial of Rove's past crony, Tom Delay, began this week but I expect little satisfaction from it, do you? Has the jailed Jack Abramoff turned on compadre Rove?)

And if the mysterious death of Rove's 'friend' and colleague Mike Connell is spotlighted by the Rove subpoena concerning 2004 election fraud charges in Ohio, I for one, will be heartily glad if one of the many mysterious crimes involving Washington DC players is revealed for what it is: a political assassination meant to cover up actions and protect the career of an operative such as Karl Rove who never met an election he couldn't cheat on or a campaign he couldn't make dirtier and meaner.

Last, let's consider the midpoint picture formed by tr Pluto/NN with Rove's natal Sun as focal point...it supports the above indications of ruthlessness of tr Pluto to n Sun:

Pluto/NN = n Sun: the urge to impose one's will upon others with ruthlessness and vice versa; gaining respect.

A difference is that NN, a Jupiterian point of joining and encountering (he encountered a subpoena - he tried to disavow its receipt by dropping the papers!), 'joined' him at the precise moment of his TV appearance at DC's CBS Studios. And, of course, lawyering, judging Jupiter's natural house is the 9th house of legal matters and courts. Touche! He touched it so it's his.

Well, I hope the US Justice Department is serious about taking to task an old cuss like Karl Rove and isn't just setting up a legal matinee of dramatic actors where charges and rumors against Mr. Rove are - supposedly - laid to rest once and for all.

For I can tell them now that for a suspicious yet reluctant astrologer like myself, these dire times are way too late for that sort of tiresome ruse to work. When you snag an elusive rat in a trap, you'd better be sure you spring it.
