Well, apparently some financial titans don't use Astrology (or even pay someone who does)--or, they collapse financial conditions according to a schedule due to an over-arching 'Great Plan' long set in motion so that chaos will result and a Global Economic Order of Orwellian proportions can be set up, they think. Yes, thanks to The Great Cosmic Clock that is our Solar System, Astrology helps anti-social miscreants time their actions (bubbles, busts, take-overs, etc) in positive or negative fashion. Motives count!

In a Wall Street Weather article linked below, you'll find among other things, mention of the London trader ('The London Whale') who set JPMC's massive loss in motion by trading murky derivatives of sorry merit and the result is causing many to call for the return of Glass-Steagall provisions. But why in London?

Well, in previous posts on this blog, perhaps you've read of the City of London (a financial area which, like the Vatican, is a legal territory unto itself) acting as director of the government of the United States of America. An astro-indicator I have long used for this crazy notion is America's out-of-bounds Pluto 27Cap33 Rx (in our natal 2nd House of Money and Values) showing wealthy plutonians of power existing abroad in the old country--Capricorn--and pulling secretive strings in the US to which our politicians and Fed bankers have danced, and continue to dance. (Ex: trillions of our bailout monies circa 2008/09 were sent by the US Fed to entities and banks abroad--yet now the EU is all 'broke' and everything--except for Germany, it seems. Wonder where the trillions went? Did European monarchs scarf it up? Not satisfied, the power elite now austerely suck up the pension funds and more from the people of Europe as a global heist proceeds.)

As you know, June 24, 2012 brings earthlings the first of seven exact squares of frustration and unrest between upstart Uranus and Pluto the powerful (from Aries to Capricorn, a difficult Mars-Saturn, stop-go vibration.) These two generational planets' current cycle began with three Great Conjunctions in the mid-1960s in mid-Virgo, discriminating sign of The Critic, and of Work, Health, and Service. Virgo's 'The Virgin' archetype appears often in the iconography of America and is usually shown holding a sheaf of wheat. Ceres, Columbia, Mary, and Isis are a few of Virgo's many faces as well and the constellation's stars link our nation with Egyptian myths and goddesses along with an older goddess, Innana whose planet is Venus, now implicated in the Mayan Calendar long count which ends December 21, 2012 at Winter Solstice's alignment with Galactic Center. Predictably the announced losses by Morgan Chase are very unpromising for the US and global financial markets 'going forward'--and possibly for the re-election prospects of President Obama since financial revelations by other banks (ex: CitiGroup, weak banks in Spain, etc) will mount as Uranian "shock waves" are suddenly dragging things downward across the globe as the Geminian news spreads. Well, today is May 11 but solar eclipses astrologically can influence conditions for up to two weeks prior to eclipse manifestion and they often bring The Hidden to light, as you know--plus, keywords for the current Solar Eclipse of November 25, 2011 @ 2Sag37 include "A peculiar turn of events." To add complexity to current conditions, these two Solar Eclipse degrees are opposite one another (00Gem21 v 2Sag37) thus yoking their indications.

Even candidate Mitt Romney's bullying ways in high school are now uncovered in the Washington Post (yet he seems so mild!) His forcefully cutting another student's long hair, strapping the family dog to the top of the family car for a twelve-hour drive...hmm...is a pattern of arrogance at best, cruelty at worst, being revealed? 'Funny' how both Romney and Dimon have used the word "stupid" to describe their questionable actions. I say 'alleged' because in all my years, some of the most charitable folk I've known were of the Catholic persuasion--and they never stinted anyone they could aid by putting their religious faith in action on behalf of the disadvantaged or those in temporary dire straights.

Campaign 2012's Opponents--or Is It Really Only We vs Them?

As you know, many charges against opponents and parties are being leveled back and forth during Campaign 2012 as was to be expected since this tactic keeps the electorate riled up and divided moer than informed and thus less potent to act against a ruling class greedy for more power and wealth. The charges include such taboos in America as Socialism, Communism, Trotskyism, Social Darwinism, and other systems, ideologies, and methods of governing. ("I know you are but what am I?" Insert childish, self-serving footstamp for dramatic effect. This is badly performed Political Theater, dahlink.)

So as you see, this is part of my topic here for all of these systems, ideologies, and methods belong precisely within the realm of the Saturn-Neptune pair when their energies combine. Plus, you know of the secret/invisible (Neptune) government (Saturn) which America is said to be directed by--in Britain they go ahead and call it a Shadow Government though in the US our politicians act more coyly and never discuss such a mysterious system if it can be avoided; plus, my studies continue to indicate that London has been ruling America all along! Or did you know?

Then there's our national horoscope with '1 Libra' at Midheaven (MC = The Goal) which places natal Saturn 14Lib48 in 10th house and natal Neptune 22Vir25 in 9th house (of Foreign Lands) on either side of MC which gives a picture of Saturn/Neptune = MC: capitulating to the demands of the environment totally (at Cornwallis' 'Surrender'?); using short, inefficient methods when tough, dedicated, complete work is needed; wavering between materialism and idealism; frequent mood changes; a peculiar character; emotional suffering; illness.

Or, we might say that secret, invisible government, Communism, Socialism, etc, have been our government's goal all along (well, ours and the puppetmasters abroad who actually call the shots in Washington through the Federal Reserve System.) Actually some do say such things--that maintaining The Masses on large social welfare programs is intended to be how our society functions and not as a democracy of people able to stand on their own at all.

For as Barry Goldwater (Sun Cap-Moon Tau) once informed, warned, prophesied, or promised us, "A government that is big enough to give you all you want is big enough to take it all away." Which is not to say that social welfare programs are replete with riches for those who must partake of them for they merely help the needy get by, not prosper. You must apply to Corporate Welfare Programs like TARP or other trillion-dollar bailouts if you wish to prosper like a bandit!

Secondary Progressed Moon as Timer and Emotional Indicator

Making matters more complex, as many astrologers have already detailed, is the astrological factor of US Secondary Progressed Moon 14Lib42 now approaching our Sec Mars Rx in Sec 2nd house (exact in about 3 months but within orb now)--and Luna is already knocking on the gate of US natal Saturn 14Lib48--Moon-Saturn can show ambition, strategy, and direction, but also depressive, limiting conditions.

Add US Sec Neptune 26Vir14 Rx in Sec 2nd H as well and you have the above-mentioned depression, pessimism, and suffering, along with the fraud and sad losses of idealistic Neptune in Virgo, sign of Dedicated Work, Employment, Service--and 2nd H = Earning Ability and Values. Its our traditional values of providing aid for the needy (aka, a Christian nation and attitude) that Ryan and his ilk are working to transform along with an attempt to free up funds for more war on behalf of a 'new world order' and for the wealthy class to wallow about in like greedy pigs. Plus, indicators of floods, other expensive weather-related losses, problems with oil, gas, toxins, and poisons are shown by gaseous Neptune, as you know.

Worrisomely, our natural gas pipeline system is under cyber-attack as I type, reports USA Today, Christian Science Monitor, and NPR. Astrologically, this circumstance, in effect since 2011 apparently, shows in certain horoscopes (protagonist Mars in 9th H of Foreign Lands) and I plan to discuss the topic more fully later on if my blogging calendar permits.

Mars = Males Between the Ages of 25 - 35, Give or Take a Year or So

Well, US Sec Mars 18Lib30 Rx (retrograde by progression since 2006) has re-turned some of our troops home but has also brought protests by, and military and police actions against, the American people. The current Sec Moon-to-Mars factor indicates the anger, rage, protests, and riled up feelings and actions that are expectable whenever the emotionally charged duo of Moon and Mars get together; and maybe more Americans will soon sign up for military service in lieu of employment at home. Plus, in Politics and Business, Michael Munkasey gives the Moon-Mars duo a potential for: 'leaders who show concern about the welfare of people but don't necessarily follow through with relief'! Wonder who that could be?

In addition, US natal Saturn's presence in Sec 2nd H adds austerity, loss, delay, depression, control, and restriction to our difficult financial picture, and I for one hope and pray that America will not fall underneath the crushing boots of the cruel policies of ideologues of either political party (Tea Party members very much included) who brazenly place abstract systems of thought (such as Social Darwinism with its anti-social 'survival of the fittest' meanness, and the Objectivism of Ayn-Randers like Paul Ryan) far above their fellow Americans' very lives. Well, except that Objectivists act not as Americans, do they?

Now let's close with two Sabian Symbols which are quite descriptive of conditions in America 2012 and of certain detached politicians who now scorn their social responsibilities (tell me again: why are they 'serving' in Washington as representatives of The People?) Meanwhile they act as part of the political arm of globalist world-domination schemers rather than representing us! Past Points to Future and Culprits Surround Us

Now here's a last interview recorded with the controversial Eustace Mullins whose book The Secrets of the Federal Reserve: The London Connection details actions and motives while naming many culprits from the past (1880s into the 20th century and into the 1980s of Ronald Reagan) of the financial and political realms. These are people whose biological and ideological descendants continue to bedevil and infest our nation to this very day.

While he was no less flawed than you or me, Mr. Mullins associated with those whom many now consider to be unsavory groups and individuals, it's true, yet if you don't think the shady financiers and politicians who met oh-so-secretly on Jekyll Island, Georgia in late November into early December 1910 in order to set up the Federal Reserve System of banks were unsavory themselves, then there's little to discuss when it comes to their long-serving bubble-boom-bust pattern highlighted by Financial Collapse 2008, the Crash of 1929, the Panic of 1907, etc, etc, both in the US and abroad.

As noted in the video below, the first loan made by 'The Fed' was to England so that World War One could be waged--and huge fortunes made (other sources confirm this.) Woodrow Wilson ran duplicitously for president on keeping the US out of the European war but that was only campaign propaganda meant to persuade the public so if any of this sounds familiar in our current conditions, there are very good reasons! Now how about a quote found in the Mullins book from the controversial 'mad' poet himself, Ezra Pound, an associate of Eustace Mullins (as is well-known); the quote appears in the book's Introduction and imho, has been proven in the New Millennium to contain several kernels of highly uncomfortable truth:

Oligarchy, Plutocracy, oppression, disenfranchisement, violence and fear, racism and other -isms--all may be described astrologically by planetary pairs when their energies combine yet my prime duo for such cruelty and haughty ivory-towerism is the Pluto-Chiron duo which last met in Great Conjunction on December 30, 1999 at '12Sag'--conjunct US natal Ascendant in our Sibly horoscope (July 4, 1776 5:10 pm LMT Philadelphia, PA.) This was 'Battle in Seattle' time, the first huge protests against the World Trade Organization of global bankers, politicians, and their agents.

Horoscope: Summer Solstice 2012

Summer Solstice 2012 with Pluto Rising in Washington DC

Once the Solar Eclipse of May 20, 2012 manifests @ 00Gem21, we then have Summer Solstice 2012 to look forward to, and this year the Sun clocks in at 00Cancer00:00 on June 20, 2012 at 7:09 pm edt in Washington DC. Below you see the Solstice horoscope set for the White House and loaded with my usual hodge podge of astro-notes and basic chart factors:

Outer, highlighted in green, are the general positions of America's natal planets, Ascendant, and Midheaven from our 'Sibly' horoscope of July 4, 1776 5:10 pm LMT Philadelphia, PA. No other planetary links are notated on the chart including those of President Obama but if links seem significant to this astrologer, they will be mentioned within the text, or discussed in a later post.

Now let's get on with a basic consideration of the June 20, 2012 horoscope which begins our Summer season in the Northern Hemisphere and is 'good for' six months until Autumn Equinox 2012 though certain factors and sensitive degrees in the Solstice chart may remain influential and subject to stimulation by transiting planets and progressions until Summer Solstice 2013.

Hour of Jupiter (posited in 6th house of Military, Service, Work, Health) @ 2Gem04 conjunct Fixed Star Mirfak (challenge-oriented; young male energy; aggressive warrior or politician; house position may be where physical prowess and/or mental abilities are overestimated, and those involved will not listen to wisdom or take caution or precaution--PM Margaret Thatcher was born with natal Jupiter and Mirfak linked, says Brady's Book of Fixed Stars; recklessness or rash action may be indicated, and additional conflicts, invasions, and wars cannot be ruled out, sad to say.

Also, with Sagittarius (The Seeker) rising, Jupiter is Summer Solstice 2012's chart-ruler (in DC) so we look to Jupiter's major (Ptolemaic) applying aspects for clues on how things will proceed. As you see, Venus in 6th H (revenge; jealousy, evaluations; money) and Jupiter (the General, Banker, Priest, Guru) are both Money significators; Venus awaits Jupiter and is conjoining US natal Uranus 8Gem55, a time when unorthodox or unusual alliances may be entered into (such as during rare Venus Transits and this Solstice is just past the Venus Transit of June 5/6, 2012 in mid-Gemini when those we would never expect to be allies 'hook-up' for who-knows-what actions to be taken...more war? more financial heisting? unknown hooliganism or secret deals of great import?)

Note: you see that the cusps of this horoscope echo closely those in the US natal 'Sibly' chart which personalizes Summer Solstice 2012 for the US and hints at a significant time frame of action especially with the chart weighted on the Angular side--all 4 Angular houses contain planets, aka, actors; the Hemispheric emphases are on Others taking the lead or holding the cards--Sun and Moon in 7th H of Partnerships-- and on equally private and public involvements; foreign bankers are lurking, m'peops, as they have from Day One in America so this may be significant of the EU debt crisis affecting US financial prospects. Global bankers are quite devious, you know, and entertain no allegiance whatsoever to America.)

Chart-ruler Jupiter Does Apply...

Jupiter applies to a square with nebulous Neptune 3Pis04 Rx (conj Fomalhaut: karmic; positive or negative; legal problems; shady associates; congenital defects; magic (A. Louis.) Jupiter/Neptune squares indicate smooth talkers (Neptune in 3rd H), over-promisers, big schemers, and difficulty identifying facts; social burdens seem heavy and too demanding, religious leaders are impractical and use overblown rhetoric, and deception and illusion undermine conditions along with financial data that's hidden, ignored, or neglected as half-truths are used as tools of persuasion and propaganda (Campaign 2012!) Avoiding exaggeration and extravagance is necessary since optimism may be misguided yet promoted by those who paint an over-rosy Big Picture.

Yes, Jupiter conj Mirfak, as mentioned above, points toward military issues and concerns in particular; plus, expanding Jupiter @ 2Gem04 opposes and therefore triggers the November 25, 2011 Solar Eclipse @ 2Sag37 (a peculiar turn of events--ex: the 'Super Congress' when the US Congress shoved its constitutionally mandated duties on twelve elite members--so the financial matters in that alleged 'debt crisis' mess, which they intend to use to promote austerity measures such as those now crippling Europe, will be on our national menu again this can-kicking summer as is to be expected from the miscreants of Washington DC.)

And with the Moon ruling 8th H of Shared Resources, Debt, Credit, Insurance, Legacies, Death, Transformation, and the Occult, we may expect market fluctuations, alternating fluidity, and instability--ups'n'downs--in the US business sector. Plus, 15Can06/24 on 8th cusp points to the natal Ascendant of The Pentagon and the costly wars that the American people pay for yet then suffer from as global wheeler-dealers who start wars make their obscene profits on the backs of everyone else (I'm looking at you, Federal Reserve System.)

Also you see that Venus squares Neptune which has karmic undertones and similar indications as above (Jupiter) with the addition of disappointment in relationships and a potential for sexual blackmail and other scandals involving 6th H and 3rd H matters; indiscriminate behavior in romance, involvement in cults, strange or shady associations behind the curtain (which may support such indicators for the Venus Transit of June 5/6, 2012); gullibility in 3rd/6th H matters is shown by the extravagant, pretentious Venus/Neptune square.

In addition to military significators in the Summer Solstice 2012 horoscope and actors who are undermined and blocked by contact with unstable and contagious Neptune in its own sign of murky, oceanic Pisces, SCOTUS is apparently scheduled to decide on the constitutionality of the Obama administration's Affordable Health Care Act--allegedly by late June 2012!

As for the Sun (the main topic of this post!) a helpful (or slippery slope) to Neptune may show for the President (Sun) who may be the smooth talker mentioned here with Neptune in 3rd H of Communications; plus, Sun will oppose Pluto in about one week with their cycle having begun (conjunction) on December 29, 2011 at '8Cap' conjunct Facies one of the 'victimization' stars. Something is culminating in the Sun/Pluto department and/or relationships are strained or ended but further sleuthing will be needed beginning with the date, December 29, 2011.

Upstarts in 4th House: US natal Uranus 8Gem55 Visited by Venus

Transit Venus to US natal Uranus heightens the ability to coordinate group activities such as political campaigns and military or surveillance operations. Mars 23Vir38 in 9th H of Foreign Lands denotes US troops far afield and foreign fighters who oppose our occupations of their countries. This Mars is quite busy for The Warrior sets off America's problematic Mars/Neptune square with its misdirected or misguided energy and confused or deceptive motivations (or inspired actions!) while conjoining both US n Neptune and President Obama's n Mars which, as you know, conjoins our national Neptune, the 'rockstar' link that veils his true actions and motivations.

Mars to n Neptune is a time when keeping a low profile and being cautious in all things is the best advice yet the 6th H indicators mentioned above concerning Jupiter and Mirfak hint that a different and unfortunate course may be taken instead. Of course, Mars conj n Mars is a Mars Return as previously discussed on SO'W for President Obama, though its degree here is not precise to the minute so you may wish to check out a previous post Obama's Mars Return 2012: Jan-Feb-June since its dynamism influences the next two years (new cycle of activity) in all the realms of Mars. And the new cycle may just aid him in getting re-elected in November 2012.

Well, there are plenty more chart factors to be delineated, of course, as you see, but briefer is better on a blog, don't you think?

May 5, 2012: Scorpio Full Moon w 00Cap Rising

Astro-Notes on the May 5, 2012 Full Moon @ 16Sco01

Do you know that the May 5, 2012 Full Moon is called "Wesak" and as such celebrates Buddha's birth and enlightenment? For more info, please allow expert astrologer Dipali Desai to fill you in on that and more concerning the May 5 Full Moon which happens to manifest on Cinco de Mayo.

Plus, the May Full Moon falling in early Spring makes it the Flower Moon of 2012 so this lunation is simply full of meaning on many levels, isn't it?

One level is within the realm of Political Astrology and when the lunation horoscope is set for Washington DC, we find controlling Saturn 24Lib40 Rx (the Old Man, Task Bringer, Lesson Teacher, and the planet I often use to signify the Democratic Party which is older than the Republican Party though both their natal horoscopes contain Saturnian themes and traits, of course--and sometimes they switch roles between Jupiter's expansion and Saturn's restriction. In a phrase (politically speaking), checks and balances, the way the US government was meant to work.)

Now with Midheaven indicating the WHY? Point of any chart (or, 'The Goal'), we may expect issues of control, restriction, and delay to predominate, and for the Democratic Party to continue to be under attack by the GOP during this Campaign 2012 year. And of course, the May 5 Full Moon is the culmination-fulfillment stage of something begun at the last New Moon two weeks ago (April 21, 2012 @ 1Tau35, 3:18 am edt in DC, with NN '5Sag' at MC, and mid-Aquarius rising.)

Additionally, 10th H Saturn, its own house, is exalted in Libra, sign of the Scales of Justice (another 'balance' reference)--and with US natal Saturn in mid-Libra--we think of ongoing SCOTUS cases and the Justices veering to The Right (5 of them at the least) which is proving disastrous for our tattered democracy, what there is left of it.

Angular and Able to Act: 4/10 axis = Mercury/Saturn

Opposite Saturn is Mercury 24Ari51 conjunct IC (End of the Matter; The Drain; Real Estate: Homeland; Security v Public Status) showing Mercury/Saturn themes (serious business; dishonest people; philosophers-thinkers-planners) to those concerns and bringing in the influences of Mars 6Vir23 in 8th house and Pluto 9Cap24 Rx in 1st house; Pluto rising = major events out-of-personal-control?; Cap is ruled by Saturn, as you know, and Virgo is ruled by Mercury--Mars conjoins President Obama's natal Pluto in Virgo, as we've discussed previously (a karmic task to fulfill? issues of revenge, jealousy, big projects? weapons of war? nuclear issues? zealotry? any or all?)

What's Rising? Pluto Rx--and US natal Pluto

ASC 00Cap35, a World Point of Manifestation, and one corner of the very active Cardinal Cross so 00Cap35 'fingers' the May 5, 2012 Full Moon as being more significant for America than Spring flowers blooming. This degree recalls Pluto's entry into Capricorn in early 2008 when tr Jupiter was in process of opposing our nation's natal planets in Cancer (Venus, Jupiter, and Sun)--just as Pluto was readying to do so, but more slowly. Financial and political concerns in the US were being opposed by tremendous powers in high (low, hidden, foreign) places--and still are, with US n Sun yet to be fully opposed (13Can/Cap = critical-crisis degrees); then later US n Mercury Rx @ '25Can' ("A Man Wrapped in an Invisible Mantle of Power") will be up against wealthy, powerful Pluto of the Underworld but not until about 2017 (using a 5-degree orb.) As I'm sure you've noticed or read elsewhere, year 2020 looks to be a doozy in the making, for this and other astrological, political, and societal reasons.)

Jupiter and Pluto Met Secretly and Schmoozed Over Big Fat Plans

Pluto entered Capricorn only weeks after the Great Conjunction of Jupiter and Pluto on December 11, 2007 @ 28Sag24 as the plutocrat-banker-wheeler-dealer duo met for a champaign toast on the very afternoon of a regular meeting of the Federal Reserve Bank of America--and within mintues of Fedhead Ben Bernanke walking to the microphone and delivering their royalist message to an in-process-of-being-heisted-from American people. Recession in the US began in December 2007 and times when the systemic cracks and fraudster robberies could no longer be kept hidden from the public with the full force of Jupiter-Pluto exploding in December 2008 near the very end of the Bush presidency.

Do you know I remain in a major snit of miffdom over their Big Heist? Because I do. Their historial bubble-bust pattern is clear. Yet if President Obama had done a lot more for Main Street and for struggling homeowners, I'd feel quite differently even though Politics is only Theater, dahlink, meant for public consumption, with the real deals happening behind the shadowy curtain. Actually, the June 5-6, 2012 Venus Transit may time a similar scenario when unusual or unsuspected alliances are formed or re-committed to--or are broken off. Watch for 'musical chairs' among national leaders as the Summer season nears--and odd or strange happenings with little if any explanation given for them.

So! Saturn as the May 5 Full Moon's chart-ruler does make one major applying aspect in the horoscope, a trine with evaluating Venus 22Gem21, in 6th house (DC) and conjoining US natal Mars, a time when desires are enhanced.

Now if only the desires of the American people carried an appropriate amount of weight with Washington politicians, the servants (6th H) we've sent there to do The People's business and bidding! Yet the 6th H also relates to military service and with the Mercury/IC degrees as they are (22--25 Aries), I always think of the natal MC of George W. Bush. And you know what quagmires he and his globalist pals got us into from January 2001 to January 2009.
