Eclipses of 2026 and 2027

Here's a handy list of the Solar and Lunar Eclipses of 2026 and 2027 along with solar themes. As you see, only three eclipses are Total, the most influential sort of eclipse in the bunch: the Virgo Lunar Eclipse of March 3, 2026 (first lunar eclipse of the year), the 10 South Solar Eclipse, and the Solar Eclipse of August 2, 2027 in the difficult 11 South Saros Series. Details follow:

Solar Eclipse Themes of 2026/2027

10 North @28AQ49:43: Emphasis on communications; frustrating or inhibiting events via news, paperwork, or a young person; may feel tired and drained; take things one at a time for best results. "29AQ": "Butterfly Emerging From a Chrysalis."

10 South @20Leo01:58: Breaking out of a negative situation where no hope can be seen to a positive space with many options; the Cosmos shows the solution which should be taken up without delay. "21Leo": "Chickens Intoxicated."

11 North @17AQ37:37: Suddenly changing groups through ideas or travel; making greater commitments in relationships. "18AQ": "A Man Unmasked."

11 South @9Leo55:02: Old ideas or methods fail; new systems and reforms are needed to deal with events; any blocks could be violently or tragically removed. "10Leo": "Early Morning Dew."

All eclipses are karmic "cosmic blinks" and can interrupt earthly events much as erratic planet Uranus can do, thereby causing sudden changes of direction like a "bolt from the blue." Revelations often surface which may lead to enlightenment and/or scandal, and historical events can be spotlighted as eclipse cycles repeat from past years. For instance, the Solar Eclipses listed here also occurred in the years 1935, 1936, and into 1937 (for those keeping up with neo-naz*-inspired current events).

With Solar Eclipses in Leo there are leadership and authority concerns; self-confidence and vitality are involved; cautions to avoid for best results include the negative traits of Sun-ruled Leo such as egocentricity, pride, pomposity, vainglory, and ostentation for these will stymie karmic progress; parent-child relationships may also be highlighted.

With Solar Eclipses in Aquarius opportunities to change the karmic course of humanity may arise; an open-minded, timely approach is best; the past should be viewed as a key to present needs and may be used as a guide to future development; innovative approaches and novel solutions are most helpful as long as they fit the situations they're directed toward, while whimsical changes and contradictory efforts disrupt karmic progress and worsen conditions; humanitarian groups are highlighted, and karmic links to friends, daughters-in-law and sons-in-laws may be in the cosmic spotlight.

For personal information via eclipses, the natal house in which an eclipse falls is instructive concerning the area of life in which an eclipse may have influence; the opposite house can also be involved to a lesser extent.
