Late December 2019 Jupiter opposes US natal Jupiter

Thoughts of Jupiter December 2019 into 2020

As anyone who studies America's founding horoscope of July 4, 1776 knows, US natal Jupiter @6Cancer (5:56), its Moon-ruled sign of exaltation, possesses a descriptive Sabian Symbol that the 'ruling elite' through the centuries, more often than not, have apparently taken to heart for their own selfish gain:

"Game Birds Feathering Their Nests."

And with Jupiter's cycle of approximately 12 years (11.6), we can say with reasonable assurance that on or about January 14, 2008, transit Jupiter opposed US natal Jupiter in the midst of the financial implosion and heist that was the Bush-Cheney regime in 2007--2008 so the opposition flavored the entirety of 2008 when the game birds' feathers 'hit the fan' but the dire effects were dumped onto We The People to lose and pay. Transit Jupiter opposing Jupiter denotes a period of discontent with wealth and personal achievement, discouraging comparisons that lower confidence, promises which often turn out to be duds, and there's an inability to impress anyone. Obviously, funds may be depleted during this transit possibly due to previous extravagance and/or waste, things that most of the 'ruling elite' practice with aplomb.

Well, now it's time for 2019 Jupiter to oppose US natal Jupiter (1776) once again which the planet of bankers, financiers, corporatists, gurus, generals, and politicians will do in late December 2019. In fact, this challenging Jupiterian transit turns up within the horoscope of the 3 South Solar Eclipse which perfects on December 26, 2019 @4Capricorn06 (the eclipse also opposes US natal Jupiter and our Venus for that matter). The eclipse chart is linked, below, with 3 South's themes of: 'traumatic transformation through news received or short journeys' and 'sudden endings of relationships and/or alliances' (paraphrasing Brady's Predictive Astrology). Can Trump's machinations be far behind?

Of course, this is only one planetary transit affecting current events into year 2020 but it is, I'll wager, a significant one especially for the US economy, the budget, deficits, shortfalls, and for other areas that concern our nation--including for the massive Jupiterian who tweets from the White House.

Yet as you know, money is only as valuable as people believe it is.

Justice Roberts to Head Senate Impeachment Trial

Crunch Time for America 2019--2020

Although his natal horoscope is based on 'date without time' data (RR: X), you may wish to check out the natal horoscope of Supreme Court Justice John Roberts if you haven't since he will be the one to rule over the Senate impeachment trial of Donald J. Trump if there is to be one. Justice Roberts is said to favor protecting his reputation for non-partisanship and a Senate trial concerning Republican Trump will certainly provide an ultimate test of such a high-minded self-image--and I hope he's correct in his self-assumption because a balanced approach is imperative in this risky situation which must be American, not Democrat or Republican.

Born John Glover Roberts on January 27, 1955 in Buffalo, New York, John Roberts is an Air-Water Sun Aquarian with Moon in Pisces for the entire 24-hour period (Sun ranges from 7 to 7:30 Aquarius, Moon from 15 to 29 Pisces). This identifies his personality as an independent thinker and a humanitarian with a social conscience; he is intuitive, reverent, and eccentric. Somewhat gullible, Justice Roberts has a scientific bent and may be attracted to metaphysical or mystical subjects. Plus, he's sociable and friendly yet few people really know him. Sun AQ-Moon Pisces folk want to be of service to the world so presiding over a Senate impeachment trial is quite a significant way to accomplish this objective. His time has come, in fact, and there's much riding on this impeachment endeavor for Justice Roberts personally as well as for the nation and its future direction as a democratic republic vs a despotic monarchy. I say this after glancing at 2020 transits to his natal planets.

A few examples include the harsh Saturn-Pluto Conjunction @22Cap46 (exact January 12, 2020) with the two karmic planets taking turns opposing his 'lucky' Jupiter-Uranus Conjunction (both Rx @23--26 Cancer). Saturn opposes natal Jupiter once on January 17, 2020 and Pluto opposes natal Jupiter three times beginning on or about January 29, 2020. Transiting oppositions to natal Uranus will raise his chances for additional political, financial, and/or possibly legal battles and conflicts which may very well affect Justice Roberts personally (and not just as spotlights on the topics he deals with as a Chief Justice of SCOTUS). If he takes a wrong path now, the odds of future conflicts increase.

November-December 2019

As for astrological factors during a potential Senate impeachment trial, we have no date to investigate so let's compare the planets of Wednesday November 13, 2019, the first public impeachment inquiry into Donald Trump's activities which apparently is set to open at 10:00 am est on Capitol Hill.

Of course, we have no houses for Justice Roberts without a birth time (12:00 pm is used) but three transits 'pop out' on that date--and note that the 3 South Solar Eclipse of December 26, 2019 manifests @4Capricorn upon the natal North Node of Justice Roberts, a major karmic indicator for him and for America (post contains an image of the 3 South Horoscope as well as the first eclipse of 2020 which occurs in tribal Cancer). Additionally, the 3 South December 2019 Solar Eclipse of 'traumatic transformation' conjoins and activates by degree the 11 North Prenatal Solar Eclipse of John Roberts. As I said, his time has come:

1. Sun @20Sco55 conjunct natal Saturn (20Sco16) denotes a time of serious situations that require trustworthiness, reliability, and probity. His seniority and past loyalty (to Republican objectives?? allegiance to Opus Dei?) can bring rewards, and current matters concern issues of authority and the senior position of others. Of course, this refers to his nibs and may also involve various culprits mired within Trump's Ukraine and/or other abuse-of-power capers, scandals, and deceptions. (And note that 20 Scorpio is the natal North Node degree of SCOTUS (1789), a karmic link to John Roberts' Saturn.)

2. Mars @26Lib11 conjunct natal Neptune (28Lib14) suggests a period when frustration is a potential due to others misunderstanding the Justice's methods or objectives, confusion and deception will (attempt to) undermine circumstances, unrealistic or deceptive enterprises are not favored, and issues involve matters of fraud, bankruptcy, charities, drug-trafficking, criminality, and/or penal institutions.

3. Pluto @21Cap03 opposes natal Jupiter (23Can20 Rx and conjunct Trump's natal Saturn) indicates that his best course will be to keep his aspirations on hold especially in relation to politics, and that titanic forces will block him in a power struggle which has huge consequences.

The Pluto-Jupiter opposition influence can at least partially describe the entire political process of a Republican Chief Justice who apparently possesses a social conscience attempting to protect the reputation of the Supreme Court (1789 chart shown) while fairly presiding over a Senate impeachment trial of a shady president with Republican partisans yapping at his heels in a desperate bid to hide their own crimes, foreign ties, and vulnerabilities.

And hopefully transit Neptune Rx @15Pis58--conjunct Achernar, star of crisis and endings--isn't floating too near the natal Pisces Moon of Justice Roberts for this can denote all manner of mysterious potentials including hidden threats to family members.

But surely a desperate Trump and the anti-government GOP wouldn't stoop that low to save their sorry bacon, right?

Exposing Republican's Malicious-- Christmas Plans?

October 30, 2019: Here's a segment from today's Thom Hartmann broadcast in which Thom reiterates his famous Two Santa Claus theory because he sees Republicans beginning to use it yet again:

And you know that to distract from his impeachment woes, Trump would just as soon pull another government shutdown as mismanage the US economy in some other way, or endanger our national security for the benefit of his pal Putin, right?

Plus, speaking of Christmas 2019 reminds me of our previous discussion concerning the December 26th Solar Eclipse that ends 2019 with Jupiter-Pluto issues, and how the Jupiter-Pluto duo relates to plutocrats, to the Federal Reserve, to other domestic and global banking and investment matters, and to large-scale project managers, contractors, and wheeler dealers of all kinds.

America, Saturn-Neptune, Eclipses, and Donald Trump

In a January 2019 SO'W post concerning the December Solar Eclipse that ends 2019 with Jupiter and Pluto issues, multiple mentions were made including the Saturn-Neptune pair of energies, Donald Trump, and Republican operative Bill Barr who was just coming into the DOJ picture with his senate confirmation hearing occurring as I typed. (And note that Jupiter-Pluto is the 'wheeler dealer' and plutocrat duo.)

Now one reason mention was made of Saturn-Neptune in the post is that their midpoint rises in Trump's natal chart as it does in the December 26, 2019 Eclipse's DC Horoscope (chart shown in the above post) with vibes of depression and limitation of freedom (Ebertin). Another reason to keep our collective eye on the Saturn-Neptune duo (the "illness axis," Reinhold Ebertin calls it--conjunct Trump's natal Ascendant, his nibs himself born into an 'oppressive family environment') during these harrowing days is that it relates to such realms as the social welfare programs constantly under attack by the Republican Party (most of whose members I tend to think of as misfits of the human race). Apparently the party's past "compassionate conservative" slogan no longer applies if indeed it ever did.

So below is a hodge podge of dates and associations for the Saturn-Neptune pair so famously representing hidden or secret (Neptune) government or control (Saturn)--and of course imaginary + real, lie vs fact, and idealism vs materialism also apply, plus the -isms such as Communism, Bolshevikism, Marxism, Capitalism, Socialism, Nationalism, Patriotism, Nativism, Zionism, conservatism, 'Trumpism'--labels invented by hidden manipulators to divide, conquer, exploit, and weaken populations who might think to rise up against the 'ruling class'. Fact is, We have the numbers, they have the desperation to hold on to power and control.

Now as you know the Saturn-Neptune cycle lasts approximately 36 years and their last conjunction was actually a three-fer due to retrogradation yet all during 1989: 1. March 3, 1989 @11Cap55; 2. June 24, 1989 @11Cap14; and 3. November 13, 1989 @10Cap22. See Events of 1989, an extremely busy year, domestically and abroad. The next Saturn-Neptune conjunction occurs only once on February 20, 2026 @00Ari45, the Aries Point where global events tend to manifest. Note that this conjunction in 2026 will conjoin the IC of the natal chart of America that I tend to use most often (July 4, 1776 5:09 pm LMT Philadelphia, PA).

Obviously, we are now mired within the third period (3 x 12 years = 36) which began on November 13, 1989 @10Cap22, a degree stimulated by the July 2, 2019 Solar Eclipse @10Can37 in the 3 North Saros Series--between America's Jupiter and Sun; this is the eclipse series we're in as I type.

Now here are Saturn-Neptune's Hegelian potentials within the realms of Politics and Business, some of which may sound appropriate for our times:

Thesis: Delusions among the real leadership; long lived programs which have no real purpose; policies which restrict spies; misusing law officers; inefficient use of capable expert advice; mistaken religious leaders.

US Congress: Broken When We Need It to Get Busy

Has the US Congress disintegrated right before our eyes, now broken beyond repair? The sabotage of the US government has been in force for decades and infiltrators are having their merry way. Politico's When Impeachment Meets a Broken Congress lays out the case rather well (especially if readers scroll down a few paragraphs).

And astrologers are likely to be familiar with recent and current planetary transits to the US Congress First Session Horoscope and those affecting Inauguration 2017 planets, plus, a long-term transit of Pluto square natal Neptune with potentials for: 'psychological issues that need professional attention, social upheaval, corrupt political institutions, feeling vulnerable, obsessions, compulsions, hallucinations, a need for spiritual regeneration'. And since Congress is intended to represent We The People, this heavy plutonian influence applies to the entire population.

Now as you can see from the March 4, 1789 chart, the Midheaven (26Capricorn) of the US Congress (MC = Goals, Aspirations, Public Standing) is currently in turmoil from the approaching Saturn-Pluto pair of compressed, unyielding energies, and the same for US Inauguration Horoscope/s (January 20, 2017, 2013, etc, at noon Capitol Building Washington DC).

Karmic Saturn and Pluto are working together as they move closer and their energies peak @23Cap46 on January 12, 2020 (conjunct Trump' natal Vertex of fated encounters--an encounter with dictatorship apparently although personally I'm hoping for downfall). The Saturn-Pluto pairing denotes potentials for: turmoil in rigid or older structures, upsets in existing checks and balances, secret preparations for future restrictions, use of secret police or military agencies, blocked sewage systems, and/or lengthy consideration of methods of removal or destruction (Munkasey). But whether Trump stays on top or not, the ongoing sabotage, mostly by Republicans, is in process of achieving its objective of collapsing America and 'drowning her in a bath tub' as Grover Norquist promised. After all, everyone knows that no empire lasts forever--including the vengeful Vladimir Putin.

So as noted, plans to deconstruct the US government have been simmering for decades--actually from the start--and many see the 2022 US Pluto Return/s as a major signpost on the way to...whatever conditions and events from the Revolutionary years will rhyme if not repeat by 2022.

And naturally, the saboteurs are banking on modern generations of Americans having little if any of the spunk and determination our forefathers possessed during the Revolutionary era so that fighting to rescue our Republic when time catches up with need will be a weak and wimpy affair, easily vanquished, our combatants soft and otherwise engaged with their phones and viral videos. For as you know stealth has been one of our opponents' handiest aids (as always with sabotage) along with infiltration, lies, fraud, cheating, political 'spin', propaganda, wedge issues, and the entertainment industry. Bribery and intimidation work well for them, too, with their mobster/global crime syndicate selves focused on dismantling democratic societies. That the US will no longer act as global leader seems evident to me and is one of the saboteurs' goals.

Plus, you'll remember that in December 2008, during the Bush-Cheney Financial Crash, America symbolically reached as far as she/we can go (or should go) in the world via our nation's Progressed Full Moon in Virgo. Now, despite the massive amount of rigging it's taken to hide the fact that our nation has reached its pinnacle, we're nearly 11 years beyond that point and the karmic imperatives are coming in fast. Are our crumbling institutional structures too weak to withstand the sabotaging forces of the global crime syndicate? For that's what the Washington establishment fights when it battles against Donald Trump although some politicians may be 'fighting' and resisting while secretly supporting the fascist cause he leads (or is the face of--an orange figurehead!).

Now as you know, even before America's Pluto Return/s in 2022 we must navigate several Solar and Lunar Eclipses of note, plus, two titanic planetary conjunctions occur after Saturn-Pluto in January 2020--Jupiter-Pluto begin their cycle anew with the duo's financial implications on April 5, June 30, November 12, 2020 between 22 and 25 Capricorn (tri-wheel charts shown). And the Jupiter-Saturn (the societal pair) conjunct and end 2020 with a bang @00AQ29 conjunct US Inaugural Sun (POTUS) and marking the beginning of a 20-year cycle. When Jupiter and Saturn combine forces there are more checks and balances issues and significant changes in governmental, religious, and social orders with a judicial system at breaking point (Munkasey)--and this must include the lawmakers of Congress.

So now I must regress because during all the years of writing Stars Over Washington (since 2005) I have encouraged readers to contact Congress with 'call often call angry' concerning their issues but now I strongly suspect that calls and emails to Congress offering our support and firm 'don't allow the institution to dissolve' messages would serve both the higher and lower purposes of We The People much better. Don't you?

The Planetary Conjunctions of 2020

February 28, 2020: Here are the two SO'W posts I've published so far concerning the upcoming Planetary Conjunctions of 2020 with only incomplete information, 'tis true, but they're all I've had a chance to compose and publish in this very busy 2020--what with Trump's impeachment, a 2020 Campaign in full swing, and now the corona virus pandemic spreading across the globe while an incompetent, faithless "president" mismanages and propagandizes the US government response from a sabotaged White House which (purposefully) leaves the American people vulnerable to the ravages of this Neptune-in-Pisces contagion which brings with it paranoia, fear, panic, and deception:

Jupiter-Pluto - these two conjoin their energies three times in 2020--the first on April 5th!

Jupiter-Saturn (includes midpoint pictures; this conjunction hits America's Oath of Office (POTUS) Sun @00AQ29, a significant cosmic and political event.

And as you know, the Great Conjunction of Saturn and Pluto occurred on January 12, 2020 but the horoscope is 'good for' about 33 to 35 years until their next conjunction. The karmic planetary pair's harsh influences are in force as I type and let's note that the conjunction horoscope shows a pseudo YOD (pseudo because a chart angle is involved in the pattern as one of the YOD's points rather than a third planet). I mention this here because contagious Neptune in Pisces is also one of its points, plus YOD patterns are considered health indicators, and because the difficult Saturn-Pluto combination of oppressive, compressed energies can represent deeply searching scientists--and mass murder, with their January 12th conjunction @22Cap46 falling upon a governmental degree (DeVore).

G-20 Summit June 28-29, 2019 Osaka Japan

Just prior to the July 2, 2019 Solar Eclipse and within its two-week period of influence, the 14th annual G-20 Summit will be held June 28th and 29th in Osaka, Japan. Expected to attend are Trump, Xi Jinping, Putin, and other government figureheads who play the roles of 'world leaders' on the global stage but whose true puppet masters (bosses) remain elusive in the shadows.

And note that the Solar Eclipse @10Can37, falling between US natal Sun and Jupiter, is in the business-oriented sign of Cancer while the Lunar Eclipse perfects @24Cap04--within the 22-25 Capricorn degree-range of the Zodiac now lighted up like a threadbare Christmas tree thanks to transits by restrictive, authoritative Saturn and wealthy, manipulative powerhouse Pluto, both karmic planets (reaping what's been sown), and their upcoming Great Conjunction on January 12, 2020 @22Cap46. Together Saturn-Pluto energies can be harsh, frustrating, cruel, and fanatic with a deep desire to escape all limitations. And as you know, Saturn-ruled Capricorn is also a sign of business and of government and law so there's no predicting what the G-20 boys and gals will get up to as they hunker down together in luxurious seclusion without oversight or supervision.

Perhaps the summit will be more of an oath-refreshing session during which new orders will be given and new 'tasks' will be undertaken. Plus, under the over-excessive influence of the July 2nd 3 North Solar Eclipse (which brought the world WTC 9/11/01), Trump and his culprits-in-arms may even receive 'news that transforms a situation' and be handed outlines of the next 'large plan' to obsess over. Who oh who can they exploit next? Will Uranian-in-chief Trump play along? (Fat Jupiter still leading a Locomotive shape of planets = a ruthless high-powered executive demanding success.) Or will his nibs be the ostracized wallflower in the corner? (Unaspected Venus in Gemini conjunct Trump's natal Sun.)

Well, eventually we'll know more than we wish we knew about what these large-scale Jupiter-Pluto developers and plutocrat-wanna-bes have in mind for the world by or around the end of the year since the December Eclipse ends 2019 wth Jupiter and Pluto issues.

A Powerful Senator Richard Burr takes on Don Jr

Senator Richard Burr (R-NC) was born in Charlottesville, Virginia on November 30, 1955 with his natal Sun in Jupiter-ruled Sagittarius and Moon in Gemini. Serving since January 3, 2005, Senator Burr, a member of the Senate Intelligence Committee, is now under attack by the GOP in yet another of their desperate attempts to circle the wagons around a lame Donald Trump due to first son Don Jr now under subpoena by the Senate Intelligence Committee.

Here's Chris Matthews in a Hardball segment (May 9, 2019) reporting on the circumstances of the subpoena of Donald Trump Jr which was served upon him by Senator Richard Burr.

Note that when we first discussed on SO'W the controversial June 9, 2016 Trump Tower meeting with Russians that the senators want to ask Don Jr about (again), the Astrology showed that Papa Trump did know of the meeting, was told of it, or had perhaps okayed it. Why? Because that day transit Mercury, planet of meetings, negotiations, plans, and communications, was @25Taurus and poised directly upon the natal Midheaven (The Goal Point or Point of Aspiration) of Trump Senior.

Well, Putin and the Kremlin have known all about the meeting from the start. Now Senator Burr and his mates want to know more about it as well, plus, they have a few more questions for sprout number one--for the purpose of clarification, of course.

Yet as Politico reports, Senator Burr is holding firm despite GOP anger over his Don Jr subpoena, a firmness which may be attributed in part to Burr's Station Direct Pluto (28Leo36) conjunct royal Regulus and in a dissociate conjunction with his natal Jupiter (00Vir59). As you know, the Jupiter-Pluto is one of the significators of plutocrats, and as the Cosmos would have it, this mega-powerful trio happens to conjoin the natal Ascendant of Donald Trump himself and ropes in Trump's rising Mars @26Leo. And, depending on how events on Capitol Hill turn out, these planetary conditions suggest that Senator Burr has the power to best our 'intrepid' POTUS when all is said and done if that is indeed what he intends to do.

Astrology of Our Vulnerable 2020 Election

Looking ahead to the 2020 Presidential Election, Rep. Adam Schiff warns that the election is enormously vulnerable to hacking and foreign influence. Who in America actually needs such a warning yours truly isn't certain but there it is. Election rigging and gerrymandering are par for the GOP course, too, since their anti-American policies can't win over a majority of voters to their austerity-for-you-extreme-wealth-for-me agenda.

And when we check the 2020 Election Day Horoscope we find that November 3, 2020 falls under the rays of a 4 North Saros Series solar eclipse with background themes of illusions, blocks, separations, and misjudgments so little if any comfort there. In addition, the Jupiter-Pluto conjunction sits at the natal Vertex of Donald Trump and with his natal Saturn of authority (watery and emotionally based in Cancer!) opposite. Transit Saturn, strong in his own sign and planet of control, restriction, fear, and karma has moved on to 26 Capricorn where he sits atop our Inauguration horoscope/s at Midheaven (26Cap+), The Goal.

Last but not least today we should consider 'voting Mercury', planet of communications, casting ballots and making decisions (and judgments whether clear or erroneous). At 12:49 pm, Mercury stations @25Lib53 emphasizing the importance of our election decisions on that day (and the cheats and Mercurial tricksters who divert election results). Plus, transit Mercury has recently sped through Trump's natal 2nd hou$e trio of Neptune-Chiron-Jupiter (5 to 18 Libra). It's early days yet (March 13 2019 as I type) but one must assume that information, leaks, and reports will have concerned Trump's inflated-inflationary Jupiter-Neptune conjunction of grand schemes and fraud--with wounding-wounded Chiron of blind spots snugged within its ballooning midst.

Of course with US natal Pluto @27Cap33, We The People are hindered (my opinion!) by the the fact that Trump's natal Venus in Cancer permanently opposes US natal Pluto on financial levels in particular and this, in part, describes the extreme intensity of his relationship with America and the American people, plus, it reveals the continual, ruthless power struggles he is determined to 'win' at anyone's expense but his own. The Venus-Pluto pair also contains potentials for organized crime, extreme wealth hidden away, and breakdowns in the social fabric (Munkasey) - breakdowns that are intended by Republicans and their enablers every time they attempt to cut our social safety net programs.

Now we may wonder if Election Day 2020 planets look favorable for Donald Trump and some do (ex: Moon in Gemini approaches his Uranus-NN-Sun conjunction--Moon = the public, in mutable Gemini = changeable moods and minds--yet the Gemini Moon opposes his Sagittarius Moon and suggests some voters' attraction to his duplicitous Gemini personality and chaotic Uranian style of 'ruling'). And yes, there is also negativity in the Election Day 2020 horoscope/s for those who care to look so if Trump is still around by Election Day 2020, as most agree he will be, he will continue to be a major, jarring force which must be reckoned with - although he may need all the underhanded cheating tactics his supporters are willing to provide if he expects to 'win' the election against what must be a tsunami of Democratic and Independent voters turning up at the polls determined to vote Trump out.

2019 Pluto Returns to its FBI-Cohen Raid position

When transit Pluto returns to its position in the April 9, 2018 FBI-Cohen Raid horoscope (21Cap14), the planet of the Underworld, aka, the 'god of Hades', will reinvigorate its aspects to other planets in the original April 9, 2018 chart.

This may be significant or may form a Timeline of sorts yet its importance partially depends on subsequent events which will continue to issue from the early morning raid/s on the office, hotel room, and home of Trump's former lawyer and 'fixer' Michael Cohen, recently tried and sentenced to three years in prison for his criminal activities--some perpetrated on behalf of Boss Trump. Therefore, we may wish to list the dates of Pluto's Returns to the chart which you see, below, and add a consideration of the three major aspects of Pluto in the FBI-Cohen Raid horoscope for these powerful energies will be re-activated on some level during the time period beginning on April 9, 2018.

Note that the usual associations and realms of astrological Pluto are involved: secrets, surveillance, wealth, hidden things, destruction, criminal activity, mobsterism, gangsterism, racketeering, corruption, theft, sabotage, isolation, psychotic or obsessive behavior, strong-arming, blackmail, kidnapping, manipulation, oppression, plutocracy, and with potentials for sexual liaisons, rape, and/or primal violence.

Pluto Returns to 21Cap14 4x: Once in 2018, Three Times in 2019

FBI-Cohen Raid April 9, 2018 5:07 am edt Manhattan, NY with powerful, usually unconsciously motivated Pluto is Direct @21Cap14 in the 11th house of Groups and Associations across the 5/11 self-will axis. Sneaky fraudster Neptune in Pisces rises and Trump's natal Moon-SN conjunction is in full view at Midheaven (MC 21Sag07) opposing his natal Uranus-NN-Sun trio at the Foundation/Basis Point (IC) of the chart (and of the raid). If memory serves, there was concern around the time that evidence (papers, emails, recordings, etc) would be or were being destroyed unless the raid was given the green light by a judge, as it legally was.

2. May 5, 2018 Rx (in May 2018 certain associates of Roger Stone were receiving subpoenaes);

3. January 20, 2019 (Trump Inauguration Solar Return 2019 - the raid's Pluto conjuncts IC!);

4. August 11, 2019 Rx (the 1st anniversary of 'The Tower' Solar Eclipse of 2018 under which 'cosmic blink' influence I now type);

The Three Major Aspects of Pluto in the FBI-Cohen Raid Horoscope with Potentials:

Well, there's a partial cosmic picture of Pluto's ongoing condition as part of the Mueller investigation into potential criminal activities of Donald Trump, family, and associates both foreign and domestic via catalyst Pluto's powerful influence which threatens to extend its creepiness through year 2019.

Natal Horoscopes of Capone-Manafort-Trump

August 2, 2018: Now that the tweeter-in-chief has compared his former campaign chairman Paul Manafort with Chicago gangster and tax-dodger Al Capone you know a comparison between their natal horoscopes had to occur. Below is a bi-wheel with Capone's C-rated natal chart in the center and Paul Manafort's 'noon' chart, outer. Penciled around the charts are some interesting links between Al Capone's planets and those of Donald Trump. As you see, Mr. Trump's Sun-NN-Uranus trio opposite his natal Moon-SN is prominently showcased on Capone's natal MC-IC axis:

The more stand-out links are Manafort's natal Jupiter conjunct Capone's Sun (28Capricorn--conjunct US natal Pluto), Manafort's natal Chiron 8Sag58 Rx (the wound and blind spot) conjunct Capone's natal Chiron 9Sag34, Capone's natal Jupiter 8Sco06 conjunct Manafort's Prenatal Solar Eclipse degree (4 South themes = 'strong emotions about money and/or relationships; a sense of fated events; frustrating blocks; sudden desire to end a relationship'). I won't mention Capone's Mars 29Can16 (Rx, OOBs, and at critical degree) conjunct Manafort's Ascendant since Manafort's chart is speculatively set for 'noon'. But we need no accurate birth time for Mr. Manafort to see Al Capone's Sun shining upon the natal Jupiter of extravagant spender and tax-dodger Paul Manafort during his current trial, thanks to the tweet-in-chief's (helpful?) efforts.

Plus, you see that Manafort's natal Saturn 00Vir04 Rx conjoins royal star Regulus (success if revenge is avoided)--and conjoins Trump's natal Ascendant and, by extension, his rising Mars in Leo. This link suggests that Manafort will 'stick' (Saturn) with Trump (ASC) and not turn state's evidence, even if convicted, but we'll see since 69-year-old Manafort's prospect of dying in prison may be a prison cell too far.

Also note that Al Capone's Syzygy Moon is his Prenatal Eclipse ('PE') 21Cap33 in the violent 9 New North Saros Series (conjunct Trump's natal Vertex!) and is the same series as that of Alexander Hamilton's PE, as already discussed.

The Natal Chart of Stormy Daniels with Sappho Rising

April 11, 2018: once the New York FBI raided the home, office, and NY hotel room of Trump attorney/fixer, Michael Cohen on Monday (April 9, 2018), it seemed the time to post the natal horoscope of Trump 'amor' "Stormy Daniels" (nee Stephanie Clifford) so here's her horoscope with my typical messy notes, plus a few Trump natal planets and angles marked in red around her chart; as you see, sexy Sappho rises:

Added to the chart are two lunations--her Prenatal Solar Eclipse @7Pis29 in the 17 South Saros Series with themes of good news and success in relationship matters (Brady) and her Syzygy Moon @22Vir41 conjunct fixed star Denebola (out of the mainstream; to go against society) in 9th house and this is supported by natal Moon @4Sco56 as apex planet of her Neptune-NN midpoint (lack of community spirit; disappointment in relationships--Ebertin). Another picture, Uranus-Pluto = Moon gives her a sense of restlessness, plus, determined ambition, intuition, and emotional conviction (Tyl).

Trump, Daniels, and Cohen

One implication of the current Cohen-Trump turmoil over sex and hush money is seen via Trump's natal Jupiter conjunct Miss Clifford's natal 10th house Pluto (18Lis26 Rx), plus, natal Sun @26Pis05 conjoins asteroid Demeter (Greek goddess of nurturing which in Roman Mythology is Ceres) and asteroid of retaliation, Tisiphone. Note that in a Jupiter-Pluto hook-up, astrological Pluto, as always, holds the cards.

Three aspects to her chart-ruler Jupiter (at critical degree in 8th house of sex) are listed, lower left and she is in process of a three-fer Mercury Return with dates listed, lower right--Mercury's next exact hit occurs April 24, 2018, and as you know, Mercury rules negotiations, deals, and agreements including Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDA).

Jupiter Exalts in Moon-ruled Cancer

The lady's last/current Jupiter Return (29Can07) perfected on July 12, 2014 with natal 8th house rising and transit Neptune @7Pis19 conjunct her PE, a Total eclipse which manifested on February 26, 1979. The last 17 South Eclipse occurred March 20, 2015 conjunct Scheat, a difficult star of extreme misfortune. This 17 South solar manifestation was the Spring Equinox 2015 Solar Eclipse of 'sneaks, leaks, and veils' which heralded the prez-bid announcement of Donald Trump (with Stormy's hush money paid just before the 2016 Election). Also note that Stormy's essence is seen via the closest applying aspect to natal Sun and in her case, it's a Sun-Jupiter trine (3A01), an aspect of good luck and success which makes it easy for her to gain the cooperation of others.

And if we progress Miss Daniels' natal chart, we find that she symbolically entered a Balsamic Lunar Phase of endings, partings, and/or hidden activities on January 24, 2016 with SP Moon @17Pis24 conjunct SP South Node, a separative influence. Approaching for her is a new stage in life, an SP New Moon @5Tau42 which perfects on June 17, 2019. Mr. Trump, a Moon-SN kind of guy, was elected during a Balsamic phase and he remains in it until an SP New Moon @3Virgo perfects on September 16, 2019.

April 10, 2018: as you've undoubtedly heard by now, the NY FBI raided the Manhatttan office, home, and hotel room of Trump's personal lawyer Michael Cohen yesterday "just after 5:00 am" according to the New York Daily News. Confiscated are said to be emails (including communications between Cohen and Trump who 'doesn't email'), business records, documents, an iPad, a briefcase, and who-knows-what-else.

Below is a messily penned version of a horoscope set for Manhattan, NY April 9, 2018 at 5:07 am edt with deceptive Neptune in shady Pisces rising along with fixed star Achernar (crisis at the end of the river; risk of rapid endings). Note that Donald Trump's natal Sun-NN-Uranus is at IC (the Basis of the Matter) which publicly projects his Moon-SN conjunction at Midheaven (relationships and contacts), and of course MC is the WHY? or Goal Point of any chart. Transit Jupiter Rx in corporate Scorpio, sign of secrets, leads a BOWL shape of planets suggesting a 'scooping up' sort of situation while potentials of the Jupiter-Pluto midpoint at MC are penned on the right side of the chart. Note that transit Jupiter has been playing around Mr. Cohen's natal Neptune (19Scorpio) of late and investigating pretenses and deceptions--and will conjoin it precisely after moving Direct on July 10, 2018. The recent conjunction of harsh Mars and Saturn occurred near or perhaps conjunct Mr. Cohen's natal Moon in Capricorn though without a birth time for him his natal Moon could be in late Sagittarius (born August 25, 1966 Long Island, NY; noon Moon @2Cap17, latest Moon position could be 8Cap31--opposite Tramp natal Mercury @8Can51). The April 9 FBI raid's Chiron @29Pis33 conjoins Cohen's natal Saturn @28Pisces--and note that Scheat @29Pisces, a star with potentials for malevolence, extreme misfortune, murder, suicide, and/or imprisonment (A. Louis), conjoins Chiron-to-natal-Saturn near the Aries Point of Fame, Fortune, and Recognition.

Plus, the Venus-Pluto midpoint also rises with fraudster Neptune hinting that concealed financial assets, deception, immorality, and seduction are involved (ex: $130,000 Cohen paid to Stormy Daniels for her silence--and the NDA now asserted to be null and void because Trump--as 'David Dennison'-- failed to sign it...on purpose is my suspicion, perhaps for the sake of 'plausible deniability'). This horoscope is messy because it's what I do. But also because this is a very messy situation full of complex conditions, hidden events and furtive motives which are due to be uncovered, perhaps around the time of the upcoming Solar and Lunar Eclipses (which include a repetition of Trump's own Prenatal Solar Eclipse on July 13, 2018 @21Cancer) so that and other disruptive cosmic conditions for Mr. Trump during the rest of 2018 and very much through 2019 do not look very promising at all for the embattled kingpin-in-chief in the realms of politics, finances, and relationships.

In the Realms of Jupiter: Reince Priebus

First, here are a few astro-notes concerning the natal planets of White House Chief of Staff Reince Priebus which were posted to SO'W prior to RNC 2016 and its Capricorn Full Moon conjunct US natal Pluto if you care to take a peek.

Of course, you've heard by now of the 'open war' between Priebus and Trump's new Communications Director Anthony 'The Mooch' Scaramucci over 'mystery' leakers lurking within the White House (one of whom is Donald Trump).

Eek! 5:22 pm edt UPDATE: a few minutes after this was posted, I saw a WaPo headline that Trump will replace Reince Priebus. We'll both want to check into that!

If you need it, ABC News has the Priebus-Scaramucci cat fight. Rraowwrr! And here you can view an accurately timed (RR: AA) natal chart for Reince Priebus showing a Scorpio Ascendant ruled by Mars, co-ruled by Pluto, and a Locomotive shape lead by powerful Pluto.

Now, while Priebus is still yoked to Trump, let's consider the natal Jupiter of Reince Priebus born March 18, 1972 in Dover, New Jersey. Natal Jupiter, the planet whose natal sign reveals how we relate to others, is at 6Cap13 and is unaspected--unless we choose to count Jupiter's waning square to Pluto (5S30) which we will consider, below. In earthy Saturn-ruled Capricorn (the authority) is usually uplifted and uplifting but may exhibit a certain lack of bouyancy. And since there are no major aspects to or from sociable Jupiter, its sign and position function quite purely although an 'ivory tower' tendency may be prominent and a detached or disconnected air noticed in his personality (Tierney).

Additionally, Priebus' natal Jupiter is not involved in any midpoint pictures which would have helped attach to some degree the planet and its relational abilities into his psyche via aspected planets. However, a hefty amount of idealism is a primary feature of an unaspected Jupiter and a certain 'far-awayness' aura may be noticed. Yet in Earth signs, Jupiter most often shows good judgment (well measured in Capricorn), reliability, and much interest and talent in financial realms--especially since his natal Jupiter is posited in his 2nd house of Earning Ability, Self-Worth, and Possessions. And although Jupiter rules his 2nd house (cusp 28Sag53), sign Capricorn and Jupiter itself are intercepted (Placidus) which tends to delay or interfere with the ease of the planet's functioning (as does ruler Saturn) and may denote karmic conditions from the past which haunt finances or other realms of Jupiter. These may be due to an ancestral situation or family myth, or perhaps from a natal tendency of his own.

Now if we wish to consider him as having a Jupiter-Pluto square (separating and thus unconscious, and half a degree beyond 5 degrees so not as strong an influence as it would be if closer) we may see Mr. Priebus as a wheeler-dealer engaged in large-scale projects and, being mired in Politics (that 'organized system of hatreds') and having lucrative financial involvements, perhaps he is just that. Expert astrologer Alan Oken gives this aspect as 'misuse of knowledge' and 'an often frustrating drive for power', and says it describes one who is 'rarely satisfied with their place in life and consistently trying to better themselves, often at the expense of others'. Oken labels Jupiter square Pluto as, The False Prophet but I must leave it to others who know Reince Priebus to determine how closely this may or may not describe the man. Whether such misuse of knowledge includes leaking information from the White House I cannot not know.

Natal Jupiter @7Capricorn

The Sabian Symbol for Jupiter at '7Capricorn' = "A Veiled Prophet of Power"...SUPREMACY; positive expression: unerring insight into the motives of men and a consequent gift for organizing their efforts along any given line of accomplishment (yes! as Chairman of the RNC--jc); negative/unconscious/shadow side: inability to distinguish true values from false. Oh my goodness, is Priebus as bad at distinguishing true from false as Donald Trump?!?

So perhaps we should consult the esoteric degrees of Adriano Carelli for '7Capricorn' to gain more insight...

The Sphinx. The whole of the sign Capricorn is a labyrinth, of which this degree especially stresses such scientific and engineering skill as to be really worhty of Daedalus, and drives to the utmost its defects of puzzling and selfish secretiveness.

A labyrinth: will the native be its maker or its victim? Or, like Daedalus, both at the same time? A Sphinx: is the riddle in the native's self, or waylaying him at a bend of the road he is to travel? And will the riddle be of material, intellectual or spiritual nature? Will there be political, or feminine, intrigue?

Well, those are all the notes I have on the natal Jupiter of Reince Priebus for now but I want to add here a note about his natal asteroid, Icarus (whose wings melted when he flew too close to the Sun): the August 7, 2017 Lunar Eclipse conjoins his natal Icarus @15AQ so more leaks may drip out or secrets may be inconveniently revealed, thanks to the Lunar Eclipse (followed by the Total Solar Eclipse of August 21, 2017), and it will be interesting to watch as the eclipses approach to see if Mr. Priebus holds onto his White House position, crashes and burns like Icarus...or simply manages to fly away.

The August 2017 Jupiter Return of Donald Trump

Two Horoscopes: Donald J. Trump natal (inner) with his Jupiter Return (August 4, 2017--number 3 of 3) around the outside. As you see (marked in red), his Jupiter Return chart shows major transits affecting Mr. Trump's natal Sun, Moon, and Jupiter--and as he goes, so goes America.

Transit Saturn Rx @21Sag32 in his 4th house precisely (again) conjoins natal Moon while opposing natal Sun. We've discussed this cosmic condition in previous posts with its depressive tendencies, family, relationship, and/or health issues, and ego deflation. This August 2017 Jupiter Return chart suggests a decrease of popularity and lack of cooperation from others who may feel suspicious of his motives (Venus in Cancer rising opposite Moon in Capricorn which conjoins transit Juno and Hygeia Rx).

(I don't blame them--is he being a stupid know-nothing on purpose?! He is a performance artist! See Neptune-MC = Sun and Moon, lower right, where his discontent with the difficulty of the job is shown along with a tendency to become lost in his own world--and transit Neptune now conjoins, veils and provides cover for US Progressed Sun @14Pisces!)

But the Clincher for Mr. Trump's Very Expansive Jupiter Is That...

From natal 5th house of Risk-Taking to natal 2nd house of Money and Values: transit Pluto @17Cap31 (18Cap = the NWO-Uranus-Neptune degree of POLITICAL POWER and smug or strong-armed paternalism - Jones) squares natal Jupiter very closely (0A04) denoting a period when old habits of taking himself too seriously and exaggerating his own importance can be crushed by others who have more power, influence, and, of course, wealth. In a Jupiter Return chart, this transit by heavy weight Pluto--the only aspect to or by his Jupiter in the return chart--indicates a time when revision of what had appeared to be permanent becomes necessary (ex: his luxurious former life of ease, comfort, and gilt). Something must be eliminated from his life in order for genuine growth to occur.

Of course, this assumes that our political belly-button-gazer wants such growth and change since he may be feeling squeezed or suffocated by his new duties. But until and unless Mr. Trump comes to terms with what's now required of him, he'll be blocked by powerful, manipulative forces (Pluto) and hoped-for outcomes will be mixed at best.

(But perhaps that's the goal of those who put Trump in the White House--the failure of our nation as the undermining of our three branches of government proceeds very quickly now until 'global government' seems the only 'solution'--puh!)

And although the relationship may be temporary, someone comes or has come into his life to act as an 'agent of change' to help him 'see' what needs to be eliminated and this may result in separation from those who keep him from progressing in his new role. And as we've seen, new opportunities arise if Mr. Trump can handle this Pluto transit well but as always, (his) true motives and unconscious desires must also support his (and our nation's) success with the large scale endeavors often identified by Jupiter-Pluto, a plutocracy pair of planets.

Now, thanks to Jupiter's periods of retrogradation, Donald Trump's 2016/17 Jupiter Return/s are a three-fer, exact on December 4, 2016, April 13, 2017, and on the date you see above. His natal Jupiter is prominent and Station Direct in 2nd hou$e conjunct Chiron and Neptune indicating a man with bubbly dreams and a distorted sense of himself (especially with blindspot Chiron) which is supported by an indiscreet, fantasy-prone, reality-challenged Mercury-Neptune square--underscored in the Jupiter Return chart by a Mercury-Neptune opposition with potentials for intentional deception (by and/or against him), lack of clarity or logic, elusive truths, and dangerous ideas. As noted above, in the return chart and rising is a Moon-Venus opposition which affects public perception of him and reflects a tendency toward self-pity, overindulgence, and empty gestures that masquerade as diplomacy.

Now of course, there are many other chart factors of importance contained in both horoscopes, some of which are penned sneakily upon the charts if you look closely but it's time for me to slink away and allow you to find them and more when and as you may!

DC Horoscope: Saturn-Pluto Conjunction January 2020

Here is the horoscope set for Washington DC of the Great Conjunction of restrictive Saturn and powerful Pluto @22Cap46 on January 12, 2020; Moon in Leo and Venus in Aquarius are both unaspected and the Hour belongs to a Capricorn Jupiter strong in its natural 9th house of Philosophy and Foreign Travel:

Saturn conjuncts Pluto in the publicly visible 10th house of Public Status and Career with authoritative Saturn ruling 10th house (MC 18Cap06) and Pluto's Scorpio on the Descendant of Partnerships. The Aries-Libra axis is intercepted suggesting something hidden or karmic in the realms of the 6/12 polarity in relation to alliances, diplomacy, war, police/military forces, and/or health and civil service issues. Chart-ruler Venus makes no applying (or waning) aspects at all so her house and sign positions are emphasized and you see by her degree (28AQ) that US natal Moon in Aquarius has been conjoined recently by Venus which suggests a harmonious period when intuition leads and the cold, hard facts are ignored or bypassed. But with the January meeting of Saturn and Pluto, 2020 will be a year when cold hard facts cannot be ignored or denied and may be forced upon society.

'Facing hard facts' relates to the crisis-ridden 'YOD' (not exactly one since the MC is part of it) that points toward an unaspected Moon @17Leo13 in the 5th house of Risk-Taking, Creative Pursuits, Romance, and Children. Strain (inconjunct) is upon the people (Moon) and issues from the Neptune-MC sextile which indicates those in authority who influence people and public policy in subtle ways in order to gain their acquiescence and avoid opposition (like they've practiced against us for years with varying levels of success). The Saturn-Pluto conjunction may be the catalyst that further solidifies global corporatists' totalitarian power with Pluto in Capricorn as the dictator, according to Reinhold Ebertin, and of course, Saturn in its own sign of Capricorn is extremely strong but times financial difficulties--though not necessarily for the win-win types). And we have America's first-ever Pluto Return coming up in 2022 to cement the Saturn-Pluto deal of 2020.

As for the Moon as Bucket handle this denotes some level of inspiration and zeal coming from the realms of Leo and identifies those who adapt allegiances where they can count for the most (Jones). A Bucket pattern suggests a cause or a mission to fulfill but is the Moon-as-handle advocating the cause or playing a different or an opportunistic tune? Saturn-Pluto likes to use secret police and military agencies to dominate the public and creates turmoil in traditional institutions especially if they're resistant to change. The duo's affairs are not open to public scrutiny as governmental checks and balances are upset (they already are) and secret preparations are being made for more restriction in the future which is underscored by the chart's Aries-Libra interception with its hidden, secret, or karmic (reaping what was sown) quality.

Upper right is a list of Jupiter's conjunctions with Saturn and Pluto, all in 2020; this chart's Saturn-Pluto conjunction is the first of them and denotes bleakness, brutality, and hard hard work. Also in the 9th house is penned the Pre-Natal Eclipse of this conjunction which occurred on December 26, 2019 @4Cap06 in the 3 South Saros Series (see lower left). 3 South themes are: traumatic transformation via news received or a short journey taken; sudden endings of relationships, possibly with a young person; this series is deeply emotional with Pluto involved (paraphrasing Brady's Predictive Astrology).

The 'Plutocracy' pair of Jupiter-Pluto with its 13-year cycle is a prominent factor worth considering when it comes to financial, political, and militaristic topics.

Where are we now in the cycle? Jupiter Square Pluto

The current Jupiter-Pluto cycle began with their conjunction on December 11, 2007 @28Sag24 (where transit Mercury turned Direct early this morning--Jupiter-Pluto = Mercury: a propaganda campaign; the desire to influence many people - Ebertin). Currently, the off-and-on-again square between Jupiter and Pluto suggests a time when wheeler-dealers such as Mr. Trump are prominent and a tendency toward political maneuvering such as gutting ethics rules oversight is in evidence. As you know, the de-fanging of the congressional ethics office was the very first thing the new Republican-led 115th Congress attempted and they will try again as contributing to questionable endeavors, large-scale enterprises that affect many people, dubious financial schemes, and other exploitative attitudes continue through the first term of Mr. Trump. Under this plutocratic square, large gains will be expected from little effort, although with a square's blocking potential, some measure of disappoint may occur.

Now Sun-Pluto fanatically craves power and Pluto-Chiron certainly signifies Plutocracy, plutocrats, and their centuries-long oppression and exploitation of the masses and this would necessarily include The US Fed and other transnational bankers coup'ing countries across the globe--one of the topics of the above video. Actually, it was the announcement of Fed Head Ben Bernanke on December 11, 2007 at 2:15 pm est (I was watching on Live TV) that perked up my ears since the last conjunction of Jupiter and Pluto began that very same day at 2:34 pm with Mr. Bernanke at the podium! 2017 Jupiter Retrograde: Hold That Tiger

As for the Trump-Pence administration, their first year in office will be imprinted by a Jupiter retrograde period of delay which lasts from February 6, 2017 (@23Lib08 conjunct starry Spica and Arcturus) until June 9, 2017 when Jupiter turns Direct @13Lib13 conjunct US natal Saturn (suggesting a partial easing of responsibilities!), and less than an hour prior to a Full Moon @18Sag53. As you see, an eventful year is promised on many levels and it is directly personalized for Mr. Trump (and thus for the American people) thanks to his being born with a strong Stationary Direct Jupiter @17Lib27. In addition, February 2017's Lunar and Solar Eclipses up the anti and may reveal more inconvenient truths followed in August by two more eclipses--one of which is The Great American Eclipse and its path of visibility which 'splits' our nation from Oregon to South Carolina.

Toward the end of Trump's first term as president, many astrologers including yours truly are concerned about the Great Conjunctions of year 2020. Dec 19, 2016: Cosmic Conditions for the Electoral College Decision on a Trump Presidency

As per reader's request (thanks for the inspiration, Rebecca!), the following post concerns the official Electoral College meeting on December 19, 2016, to decide if Donald Trump can indeed take possession of the reins of power in 2017. The planetary indications described below denote certain cosmic influences yet as usual, the motivations of those involved are known only unto themselves and may interfere with the outcome. If this occurs, you'll know that yours truly will fault Pluto in Capricorn so near to tofu planet Mercury taking the shape and mindset of the persuasive, intimidating planet of meddling Plutocrats!

The Electoral College Meets December 19th: For or Against Mr. Trump?

A basic reason that America's Electoral College was founded was in order to prevent dangerous demagogues from grabbing the presidency. So will Donald Trump be cast aside on December 19 (2016) when the electors officially meet to decide who will enter the Oval Office on January 20, 2017? Based on the Astrology of that day I would say that, yes, it is possible that the presidency could be decided in favor of Hillary Clinton (unless a higher authority prefers Trump) although Clinton's higher popular vote count probably carries no weight in their decision.

The Hill lays out the political considerations. But what do the December 19, 2016 planets reveal through my common-good lens?

After studying the day of December 19th in the morning, noon, and later, I find two main planets in transit that relate descriptively to such political considerations: voting/negotiating Mercury station retrograde @15Capricorn (sign of government, law, business, and authority) conjunct powerful, wealthy, plutocratic Pluto, and Cap-ruler Saturn @20Sagittarius. Transit Saturn is in process of conjoining Mr. Trump's natal Moon-South Node conjunction while opposing his natal Sun-North Node pair which has potential for difficulties of a karmic nature. But putting such a Saturnian 28-to-29-year transit aside, let's consider two things: that voting Mercury is spotlighted via stationing, and by the fact that it will then retrograde which relates to reviewing and reconsidering--and a possible change of mind. On a Mercurial level, this a cosmic picture of the sobering events occurring December 19, 2016! Yet if little Mercury--under the influence of manipulative Pluto--isn't enough to jettison Trump (or to keep him), there's the weighty condition of Saturn.

On December 19th, transit Saturn is the Thales planet for the ongoing conflict-producing Jupiter-Uranus opposition since the conservative law abiding Saturn sextiles Jupiter and trines Uranus. Possibly, this indicates Saturnian people (in authority) coming to the aid of Donald Trump, especially since his natal Sun-Moon opposition is involved. And note that for most of us, Saturn 'hitting' a natal Full Moon can result in difficult circumstances unless we have previously honored Saturn's commands to be accountable, responsible, and mature. Now for me, that does not describe Mr. Trump who seems emotionally immature as many folks have noted. And he's much more of a Jupiterian personality who takes credit where it isn't due, is materialistic, and thinks that cheating is winning even though it's actually stealing. Well, as he never tires of saying, he does love "winning". By trickery? No problem!

So with Saturn sextile Jupiter, opportunity to expand or improve one's professional status is offered though not promised. But the offer is made more interesting because Mr. Trump is in process of his 12-year Jupiter Return which makes the December 19th Jupiter in Libra more personal to him (though transit Jupiter is not on Trump's natal Jupiter degree on that particular day). As for Hillary, her natal Jupiter is @00Sag, the sign through which Saturn has been stomping and this may give her a measure of influence in this cosmic picture although it's more of a Saturn-conjunct-Jupiter vibe of 'giving back some of what was given' since transit Saturn already conjoined her natal Jupiter back in September 2015.

Then with transit Saturn trine Uranus, planet of radical, reactionary politics (such as Republicans tend to practice), we may expect financial and business improvements for those involved--particularly for groups and organizations, thanks to general monetary conditions (and financial titans manipulating US Politics from behind the curtain).

As for the Electoral College itself, another cosmic condition of Saturn applies on December 19th--Saturn is the oriental planet for it rises last before the Sun. Saturn oriental is often present when Politics are involved and shows that things function best in situations where goals are highly defined, perseverance and maturity are warranted, and administrative talent is necessary. Plus, Saturn in Sagittarius describes those who are serious about their moral and ethical standards though self-righteousness may result.

However, the oriental condition of Saturn does tend toward a strong sense of social order and a preference for authoritarianism which relates to political conservatives, or could, if their consciences are voted, be an indicator that a demagogue such as Donald Trump is unfit and unqualified to be president of the United States because if the electors are honest, they know that he does not meet with the Electoral College mandate laid down by our Founding Fathers.

Other Planetary Influences of Note

Additional transits to Mr. Trump's natal Jupiter are worth considering such as his Jupiter Return/s on December 4, 2016, April 13, 2017 (Rx), and August 4, 2017 with natal Jupiter strongly stationed @17Lib27 in his natal 2nd house of Money and Values (and in a trio with Chiron and Neptune--he's a speculator - and one of Jupiter's roles is the politician). The above described Jupiter-Uranus opposition means that transit Uranus opposes Mr. Trump's natal Jupiter, a time when optimism may be ill-warranted, unstable conditions can prevail, separations may occur, and the results of advancement of professional and economic opportunities are unpredictable. A cautious profile is advised under this erratic Uranian influence, but as we know, Trump has difficulty maintaining such a cautious stance for very long. Yet the Uranus opposition will let up around the time of his second Jupiter-conjunct-Jupiter in April 2017 and will be out-of-orb by August 4, 2017.

Perhaps even more descriptive is transit Pluto square his natal Jupiter with Jupiter-Pluto as the pair of the wheeler-dealer and special achiever, and a Plutocrat indicator as well. This denotes a time when others with more power and influence can choose to squelch or block those with inflated self-importance and unrealistic expectations--those such as the bombastic Mr. Trump. Plus, his father Fred's past Jupiterian business activities could be one reason that Trump's ego and power needs are not politically improved upon at this time though seemingly they have been as of the November election. In other words, the tiresomely ongoing Cardinal Uranus-Pluto square is and has been closely affecting the natal Jupiter of Donald Trump--and his Jupiter wants what all Jupiters want: to grow, improve, better, and expand.

So once again, it will be the true motivations of more powerful Plutocrats (in or acting through the Electoral College) who determine the outcome of the 70-year-old Mr. Trump's final bid for political ascendancy and control. Or, maybe the simple fact that transit Mercury, planet of votes, negotiations, and deals, turns retrograde on Dec 19th and describes an elector, or multiple electors, changing their minds concerning a Trumpian presidency as astrologer Larry Schwimmer recently reminded me!

A Major T-Square Marks Winter Solstice 2016

Winter Solstice 2016: Jupiter Opposes Uranus While Both Square Karmic Pluto

Having previously viewed the Winter Solstice 2016 horoscope, you've noticed that expansive Jupiter in airy Libra will line up in opposition to radical Uranus in fiery Aries and, with apex Pluto in Capricorn, form a Cardinal T-Square of dynamic energies. Below again is the December 21, 2016 chart set for Washington DC and here is what I wrote about it way back in September before I knew what I didn't know then:

As you see, Jupiter rules the chart and the winter season on into 2017 but the first planet to rise is legalistic Saturn in Sagittarius, the sign ruled by Jupiter, suggesting delay, hindrance, or some other kind of limitation or suppression. Wealthy Pluto is in the 2nd house, which in American mundane charts points toward the coffers of the National Treasury and those who control or feed from it so naturally the role of 'the Fed' is indicated.

And with the pairing of Jupiter and Uranus in opposition, we may expect events to involve such matters and people as fortune hunters, adventurers or explorers, inventors, and perhaps those who organize large endeavors or projects. However, this planetary pair may also express via freedom and independence issues, philosophical arguments which may include zealotry and its one-sided viewpoints, obstinate adherence to principles that do not stem from real convictions, farsightedness, missing one's best chance, successful speculation, a blissful realization, and/or a fortunate turn in life.

A sudden release of tension may accompany any of these potentials and as always, an opposition (180 degrees) suggests a sort of culmination, fulfillment, or a situation in which complete awareness is forthcoming. See below, for dates when the 'Full Moon' of the Winter Solstice 2016 Jupiter-Uranus opposition had planted its seeds during their three-fer conjunction/s.

Jupiter-Pluto; Uranus-Pluto

Then there's apex Pluto, the isolationist, who can act as a dictator when plodding through Saturn-ruled Capricorn. Here His Creepiness continues a karmic role in the turbulent yet weakened Cardinal Uranus-Pluto Square while also squaring Jupiter, a marker for what may be overly high expectations that need dialing down if real progress is the aim. And while it may inspire some folk to take themselves very seriously, the Jupiter-Pluto square denotes a time when there are frustrations and obstacles in Politics, diplomacy, finances, publishing, religion, group organizing, and other cultural matters. In addition, energy consumption and supply (gas prices?) will continue to be in the news, and new forms of energy are part of the picture as well.

Although large projects are not necessarily doomed to failure under a Jupiter-Pluto square, higher authorities may interfere or refuse to authorize the project's needed funds; or, powermongers may challenge the influence or authority of others, particularly those who have boastfully exaggerated their own importance or their extraordinary strength. Abuse or misuse of power is a caution under the sway of this square, and curiously, Alan Oken has labeled the Jupiter-Pluto square as an aspect of "the false prophet."

Jupiter-Uranus

By the second half of December 2016 the Jupiter-Pluto square will be past its orb of influence so now let's consider the Jupiter-Uranus opposition. As you know, their cycle began with three conjunctions, the first on June 8, 2010 (conjunct the Aries Point of Global Manifestation), the second on September 19, 2010 @28Pis43, and the third on January 4, 2011 @27Pis02. And since their cycle is about 14 years in duration, 2016 is imprinted with their opposition.

(Note: the next Great Conjunction of Jupiter and Uranus won't occur until April 21, 2024 @21Tau50, a one-fer encounter).

Restlessness, a sense of adventure, and a deep thirst for knowledge and education usually accompany a Jupiter-Uranus contact along with scientific or other breakthroughs, and free or reduced college costs and loans in the US may be what is described here as well especially with powerful manipulator Pluto in a money house and squaring banking Jupiter and rebel Uranus.

Flint Residents Are Getting Past Due Notices For Poisoned Water Bills - video (w Astrology)

Flint's overdue water bills are a sick joke in this situation. Can child poisoner Governor Snyder be any more criminal toward the people of Flint, Michigan? He and his cronies act more like a criminal syndicate than an elected government. Oh wait. Too often they're the same thing:

In April 2014 the water supply of Flint became contaminated with lead, Saturn's metal. The corrosive water that 'city management' switched to corroded the linings of old water pipes--meanwhile, overhead, Jupiter and Pluto opposed one another. This pair of planets is one of the plutocrat indicators and when they are in opposition we can deduce a few tendencies and conditions in effect in April 2014.

Both Jupiter and Pluto relate to large amounts of money and the switch to a substandard water source for Flint was done to 'save costs'. Lead-lover Saturn was in Scorpio at that time, sign of betrayal and secrets. Saturn was also in mutual reception with Pluto in Capricorn with Pluto planet of the Underworld and Criminal Elements, and Capricorn the sign of government, law, business...and loss. And of course, Pluto rules pipes, tunnels, caves, and hidden places. The people of Flint were betrayed by a criminal element in order to save money though in my estimation, pocket lining was more the objective.

Now here are some traits to expect from Jupiter-Pluto when their energies are combined according to Reinhold Ebertin:

Desire for power (plutocracy); pursuit of fanatical aims; desire to exploit the masses; organizers handling large projects; squanderers; speculators; teachers or professors of economics or law.

At the time, Pluto and anarchist Uranus were more closely embroiled in their ongoing Cardinal Square than they are at the moment and rebellious Uranus was apex planet of the Jupiter-Pluto opposition. This created a T-Square which Ebertin says has these potentials: quick exploitation of every situation, fanatical striving for improvement, sudden reform, quick development, adjustment to new circumstances.

A Jupiter-Pluto opposition identifies those who force their own dogma upon others and who seek positions of power in order to more effectively manage the lives of other people. Arrogance, pomposity, and illegalities of those in power demonstrate that their 'social values' (assuming they have them at all) are out of tune with the rest of society (who prefer healthy, un-poisoned children). These Jupiter-Pluto types work to gain financial control over others as an 'additional pressure on their destinies' (R. Pelletier).

Apparently, the facts of the case and the Astrology of it indicate that committing illegal enterprises offered the governor "better returns" (RP). And yet--the society he and his cronies have betrayed and poisoned can also take action against them through restriction, impeachment, arrest and imprisonment if it comes to that. There were big risks involved in this sneaky Jupiter-Pluto endeavor but the risks were all on the side of the people and children of Flint as long as Snyder's actions could remain unaddressed and out of the mainstream press. As can be expected from the culpable, in Snyder's remarks this week he has attempted to spread the blame upon local officials--who had been replaced by unelected 'managers'. And some citizens have said Snyder has much to do to regain the people's respect. Personally, I think that's much too generous toward the men who poisoned thousands of innocent people and seized power like fascists and anarchists will do -- all for the sake of money and some weird ideology of power over the masses that they know better than to speak honestly about in public.
