July 24, 2019: former Special Counsel Robert Mueller testified today with the proceedings opening at 8:30 am edt just as royal Regulus arose over the Capitol Building Washington DC (as the star also does in the natal chart of a vengeful Donald Trump). Of course you know that today's timing (8:30 am edt in DC) with Regulus rising places enraged star Algol of Medusa fame at Midheaven, the WHY? and/or Goal Point of any horoscope which echoes Trump's natal Midheaven conjunct Algol so my suspicion is that his nibs found several things to be simply furious about today in spite of what he might tweet as he (erroneously) claims 'exoneration'!

Since opposing degrees across a zodiacal polarity represent Illumination Points, the July 16, 2019 Lunar Eclipse @24Capricorn04 suggests that there is much to be revealed. Besides the habit of eclipses, the 'wild cards' and 'cosmic blinks' of the Universe, to uncover and illuminate secrets and other hidden things, perhaps a peek at the degrees' symbols activated by the July 16 Lunar Eclipse can be instructive especially considering the eventful and scandalous times we live in. The Natal and Progressed Chiron of Donald Trump

Chiron as Mentor, Wound, Healer, Blind Spot, and The Key to Self-Awareness

Here you see a hand drawn version of the Secondary Progressions ('SP') of Donald Trump set for today, June 27, 2019, and showing his SP Chiron @19Lib39 in SP 12th house conjunct SP Venus, SP Siva (the creator-destroyer), and natal Jupiter.

Listed on the chart, lower left, is his natal 2nd house trio of Neptune 5Lib50 Rx, Chiron 14Lib54 (conjunct US natal Saturn--he wounds our legal system and institutions and/or is wounded by them), and boundary-breaking Jupiter Stationary Direct @17Lib27. Now as you know, the Jupiter-Neptune pair is one of grand spirit, feeling quietly special (quietly?), rumor and scandal, inflation, balloons and bubbles, high promises, idolatry, speculation, political conflicts, and tricky legalisms. That blind spot Chiron is in the midst of this expansive pair of energies calls for some serious consideration, perhaps in a future post, but at the least, it appears that some measure of Trump's speculating, overpromising, seduceable behavior is unconsciously perpetrated. He 'just can't see it' so exactly how much self-awareness Trump has to employ is something of a mystery to me, if not to you.

So here, by gracious permission of the author, master astrologer Richard Nolle, are details on Trump's natal Chiron in Libra in 2nd house, and his SP Chiron progressed into 12th house quoted from Richard's excellent book Chiron: The New Planet in Your Horoscope, The Key to Your Quest. (Center left on the chart see Chiron conjunct chart-ruler Venus.) And note that we find from Trump's wide conjunction natally and his closer SP conjunction of Chiron and Jupiter that he's a 'zealot on a mission'--a maverick 'always chasing rainbows' and broadcasting expansive, fanciful visions which he sells to his gullible supporters. And though buyer's remorse has begun to set in for many of his victims (exs: US farmers; factory workers; voters) he remains ensconced in the Oval Office as I type...fearful, desperate, and dreading legal exposure and accountability via Robert Mueller's July 17th testimony on Capitol Hill while tweeting a lot--usually insults--and sleeping very little as Election Day 2020 creeps ever nearer.

So following are details from Richard Nolle interspersed with a few observations by yours truly.

Chiron in Libra, sign of relationships, focuses on just that "both concretely and in the abstract," writes Richard Nolle. Chiron's mentorship function when in Venus-ruled Libra involves "comprehending one's impact on others" for this transactional fellow and requires a mentor "whose all-encompassing vision creates an aesthetic order from the mysterious matrix of chaos." Yes, Uranian Trump admits he rules by chaos! And to me his Chiron in Libra placement in part reveals Hegelian machinations probably taught him by his favorite mentor, the unethical, disbarred lawyer Roy Cohn--to create a problem or a difficult condition, then rush in playing the hero who solves everything, usually by doing what he was determined to do in the first place. This resonates with Big Donnie's 'only I can fix it' mentality although successful outcomes are so very debatable. Still, the job of sabotaging America gets done in one way or another and he is proud to be chosen as the public leader of the pack (of jackals).

Natal Chiron in 2nd house of Values and Possessions

"Value is an important keyword to this natal Chiron position. Despite its unfortunate commercial connotations, value means far more than just a price tag. The things you value most are the ones you take for granted, the ones which in their absence would have a way of turning your whole life topsy-turvy. To this placement, Richard adds that a 2nd house Chiron is shared natally by cultist-writer L. Ron Hubbard, populist politician Louisiana's Huey P. Long, and conservative writer-politician Clare Booth Luce. Quite a controversial bunch of propagandists!

Now for Trump's SP Chiron in the 12th House of Politics, Karma, Self-Undoing, and Hidden Enemies

"Isolation is always in some sense a keyword for this Chiron type which symbolizes one who chooses to be as far from the crowd as possible (physically or psychically, as the case may be). Of course no one is an island, so to speak, bt to the extent these natives do take part in society they do so by playing a tile which is at most merely a fraction of their full individuality. Of course, we know that he's perfectly satisfied with himself so no transmutation is to be expected any time soon--not by choice, that is.

And on the possibility of a 'black night of the soul' for Donald Trump, my suspicion is that this is what he now experiences every long and tweety night as he awaits the dropping of whatever hammer (if any!) that has his scofflaw name on it.

July 17, 2019 Mr. Mueller to Testify as Regulus Rises

On July 17, 2019 at 9:00 am edt, former Special Counsel Robert Mueller is to testify before two congressional committees in back-to-back open session detailing his Muller Report findings, followed by closed session questions and answers. As you see, this will be a mere day after the July 16, 2019 Lunar Eclipse @24Cap04--an illuminating eclipse that reflects Mr. Mueller's natal Circe Rx (@24Cap29: where we rescue or seek rescue) while eclipse Pluto Rx @21Cap50 conjoins Mueller's natal Nemesis Rx (@21Cap45: divine retribution; the unbeatable foe). Plus, the 9:00 am chart angles and cusps conjoin the natal Angles and cusps of Trump's natal chart including enraged star Algol at Midheaven.

No, the subpoena Mr. Mueller insisted upon receiving (or he wouldn't testify) is not considered a "friendly" one according to news reports but it will be answered by the law-abiding Mr. Mueller and his legal-eagle team on July 17th, obstructions by Trump and Barr notwithstanding. Since Mr Mueller no longer works for or at the DOJ, I hope his testimony goes forward without a Trumpian hitch.

Now there is much to say about all the pertinent horoscopes involved but in the flush of this exciting morning, I haven't the time to type much of it. However, at precisely 9:00 am on July 17, 2019, Capitol Hill, royal star Regulus rises just as it does in the natal chart of Donald J. Trump although for Trump in 1946, Regulus was still @29Leo. But now the star of 'success if revenge is avoided' fame is @00Virgo, the more practical Mercury-ruled, detail-oriented sign of discrimination and purification (when expressing at its best, plus, The Critic--the one Trump is very scared of). Perhaps here I may be pardoned for remembering a previous SO'W post wondering Will Regulus Assure the Destiny of Donald Trump? for if revenge is not avoided (and who will disagree that 'revenge' is big T's middle name especially with his Mars in brash Leo rising?) all that has been gained will be taken away.

In addition, there's the harsh January 12, 2020 Great Conjunction of Saturn and Pluto @22Cap46 conjunct Trump's natal Vertex ('VX'; @22Cap51), a point of fated encounters, changing work conditions, and possible endings, a karmic event for him (and thus for America) if ever there was one. Simultaneously, transit Saturn (strong in Capricorn sign of government, law, and business) opposes Trump's natal Saturn in watery Cancer while transit Pluto aligns to do so as well. So as we know, abuse and misuse of power issues are involved in this period for Trump and his authority is challenged on a vast and permanent scale.

As for testifying Mercury the Messenger, planet of reports, reporting, reviews, and "do-overs" the little guy is retrograde which may signify the two (actually four) sessions on July 17th (a 'speaking again' for Mr. Mueller) and could also simply denote his repetition by voice of what is in his written report which he will "stick to"--and hopefully a clarification of what was misrepresented in the report by AG Bill Barr. Of course, Mercury Rx may also indicate that Mueller's July 17th testimonies won't be the end of the matter yet we don't need Astrology to tell us that! Did you say "media circus"? Well, a curious synchronicity is that Mercury @1Leo08 will conjunct the natal 12th cusp of Donald Trump and you know that the unconscious 12th house contains such realms as Politics, Large Institutions (exs: Congress, hospitals), Self-Undoing, Secret Enemies, and Karma: reaping what's been sown. But I must suppose that a straight jacket is too much to wish for even if needed.

So if we may agree, dear reader, karma is a natural law which no one escapes in the end and this must also include the likes of Donald Trump, his associates, and his family of crime.

But things get more curiouser! For testifying Mercury Rx @1Leo08 will conjunct and activate the January 21, 2019 Lunar Eclipse while opposing US POTUS Sun (00AQ+). This Lunar Eclipse was first to imprint upon year 2019 (after the January 5, 2019 Solar Eclipse @15Cap25) and you'll find some quite interesting info and astro-links in that previous post!

Horoscopes: May 1 and 2, 2019 AG Barr to Capitol Hill

Two DC Horoscopes are shown here: May 1, 2019 10:00 am edt (inner) and May 2, 2019 10:00 am edt (outer). Today AG Bill Barr is to testify under questioning chaired by Republicans, tomorrow (possibly at 9:00 am edt) AG Barr may testify under questioning by Democrats on the House Judiciary Committee if arrangements are agreed upon. Note that on both days the Sun 10-12 Taurus shines upon asteroid Astraea, goddess of Justice. Notes on Saturn conjunct South Node of the Moon are penned on the chart (upper right) while the Moon (We the People; the public mood) is in Mars-ruled Aries which should assure the hearings much public attention and denotes anger or at least active participation in social and other media on this topic.

Rising is America's natal Sun in Cancer (13Can19) denoting the Office of the Presidency which makes the Moon in Aries ruler of the chart so apparently the American public's demand for these hearings are rising or are the reason hearings are being held. Are we feeling wounded? I would say, yes, we know we are and the only aspect by the Moon in the May 1st chart is her conjunction to Chiron (2A14). But on May 2nd, Luna meets with Venus (0A18 at 10:00 am) which sounds lovely yet can also denote moodiness and assessments of weakness and of being easily led (Democrats beware!). Feminine influence (Amy Klobuchar? Kamala Harris?) is indicated as well yet the Moon-Venus conjunction occurs opposite US natal Saturn (14Lib48), a significator of accountability, our legal system and lawmakers (including those grandstanding for the cameras during these hearings). This trio also hints that some form of renunciation may occur and certainly rigid feelings will be shown; lady lawyers playing their parts are also indicated by Moon-Venus-Saturn.

Falsehood and failures are seen via the continuing Mars-Jupiter Rx opposition which has been squaring veiling Neptune now waning but Neptune is strong in its sign of shady Pisces. However, the Mars-Jupiter midpoint sits upon MC (The Goal Point) showing that favorable arrangements have been made and some measure of success will follow. As you see, the opposition links directly to Donald Trump via his natal Sun-NN (Uranus)/Moon-SN opposition (penned, lower right) with unpredictable, chaotic Uranus acting as always as Trump's 'guiding' planet in his 10th house of Career and Public Status. Mars-to-Sun: he's feeling energetic and angry, Jupiter-to-Moon: he's feeling 'happy' yet Jupiter is weakened (Rx) while leading a BOWL shape of planets. Trump's happiness is based on fluctuating foundations. Still, this is an opposition between testy Mars and expansive Jupiter so overestimation of one's strength and capabilities is evident and can lead to dangerous consequences.

The hearings are occurring during a Balsamic phase of the Moon, the darkened phase when 'things go bump in the night' and someone could be replaced. The upcoming New Moon @14Taurus on May 4th falls upon America's Inauguration Ascendant (the Presidential Oath of Office) but since powerful forces continue supporting Trump in the Oval Office (for now), will calls for AG Barr's resignation become louder? We'll know more of such topics by the light of the Full Moon @27Scorpio on May 18th which falls within the natal 4th house of Donald Trump.

Now in both hearing charts, above, prominent is Neptune in Pisces, a signature of the Republican Party (1854), at Midheaven which is the 'hiding in plain sight' significator so it's doubtful that ongoing lies, illusions, and obfuscations will be fully revealed today or tomorrow if they turn up at all during these hearings but will be on display for all to see (MC) along with official scandals of large proportions -- plus, there is fixed star Denebola at IC (The Foundation Point of the Matter) with its 'to go against society' theme suggesting that many if not all of these political actors are doing little more than performing a mystery play for public consumption -- for there also at IC sits US natal Neptune which, like the typical astrological Neptune, so often puts on a good if illusory show.

And considering what threatens to be a very disappointing "release" of the (overly redacted) Mueller Report in the morning (April 18th--with AG Barr promising to hold a press conference at 9:30 am edt before the report's release tomorrow in order to take (evade) reporters' questions before they have time to actually read the report--so slick, thinks he and Donald--another stalling tactic!), we might appreciate the interesting information and commentary within the following Thom Hartmann segment with Rep. Redacted Report planets vs Mueller Report Submission

Assuming that AG Bill Barr (a Sun Gemini like Trump!) releases a redacted version of the Mueller Report tomorrow morning (Thursday April 18, 2019), a quick peek at tomorrow's planetary positions reveals a couple of interesting transits to the Mueller Report submission planets of March 22, 2019.

MRS = Mueller Report Submission; BR = Barr Redactions April 18, 2019.

BR Neptune conjunct MRS Mercury (in secretive Pisces) suggests potentials for covering up or veiling the report in order to confuse issues (or deep-six them), deception, erroneous conclusions, and/or mysterious communications.

BR Mercury conjunct MRS Sun indicates potentials for strong and dramatic expressions in a forum (the public discourse? in congressional committees?), hiding difficult conclusions, taking the ideas of others and adding your own (Barr's) input to create something entirely different (the goal of Trump's man Bill Barr as was his earlier "summary" letter/s that allowed Trump the opportunity to brag about being "exonerated").

This transit info sounds accurate to me, how about you?

Plus, there are the increasingly harsh energies of the Saturn-Pluto duo in process of aligning for their January 12, 2020 Great Conjunction and now oppose Trump's watery natal Saturn (authority; accountability; limitations) in Moon-ruled Cancer. As previously discussed, the Saturn-Pluto conjunction when exact @22Cap46 will conjoin the natal Vertex of Mr. Trump, a sensitive point of fated encounters. Significant? Karmic setbacks? Both? We'll see.

And perhaps a midpoint picture involving the planet of reports and communications is revealing of current events for it forms tomorrow...Mars-Saturn = Mercury: loud shouting at formal speeches (Munkasey); bad news; separation; bereavement; murderers (Ebertin)--surely murder doesn't turn up in the Mueller Report!!? If so, that would be something worth hiding at all costs. Additionally on April 18th, the transiting Mars-Saturn midpoint conjoins the March 22, 2019 Sun (1Ari55): inability to meet all demands or master all situations; weak vitality; death or illness of male persons (Ebertin).

Now data for both horoscopes are listed, below, if you haven't already set up the charts and looked for more transits that apply to the Mueller Report Redaction situation once it drops tomorrow-if tomorrow! will its edge be softened by dropping just prior to the holiday weekend? I used '12:00 am edt' for April 18th but perhaps we'll have a definite hour of its release once it's done.

And to paraphrase one of the political truisms I always go by (even if FDR didn't say it as has been asserted through the years)--that whatever happens in Politics is meant to happen for nothing in Politics happens by accident (note that astrological symbols and signs are found embedded all over Washington DC--and that Astrology adds the element of Time and timing to any circumstance, in 1776 and in 2019). This follows along with the political use of the Hegelian Dialect: create chaotic problems then offer the solutions you wanted all along. To me this a large part of Why Trump As POTUS--to create chaos and massive problems so that Americans and the world will accept whatever draconian 'solutions' the puppet masters of the Universe decree--perhaps with Trump continuing as their shill and instigator or perhaps with some other raptor-brain of low character.

Now as you know, the Sun conjoins quirky Uranus (Trump's 'guiding planet') on Monday April 22, 2019 @2Tau31 and when we round up the conjunction's degree to '3 Taurus' we find, "Steps Up to a Lawn Blooming with Clover"...Keyword: HOPEFULNESS. Positive expression: a creative optimism brought to embrace every facet of everyday living; negative (unconscious/shadow side--jc): an unwarranted self-indulgence and a disregard of all practical reality through a concern over the phantasmal and impossible. And of course, this symbol (word picture) always reminds me of the White House lawn! Do the 'clovers' suggest good fortune for Donald Trump? Well, Sun to Uranus hints at potentials for stubborn pride, loyalty issues, and uniqueness that invites further scrutiny.

As for Barr's release of his version of the Mueller Report tomorrow, it was noted on The 11th Hour with Brian Williams that we Shouldn't Put it Past Trump to Distract from tomorrow's release of the redacted Mueller Report for distraction is one of Trump's go-to political tactics meant to soften criticism of whatever jam he's in at that moment. Yes Big T or a minion of his will think of something!

Below right is the February 19, 2019 Full Moon conjunct Regulus horoscope which shows asteroid Nemesis rising ('the unbeatable foe' or, 'divine retribution') in Gemini along with gold-hoarding Midas. The Full Moon falls across the Virgo-Pisces victim-savior axis and squares fixed star Alcyone ('something to cry about'). Follow the link for my original post which was composed prior to the brutal Trump Shutdown which began at midnight on December 22, 2018 so I'm thinking the cosmic picture here refers to the suffering of the American people and Trump's sabotage of the US economy using as an excuse his vanity project 'the wall' that he and Republicans could have funded and built during the two years they had control of House and Senate. The timing of the Trump Shutdown leveled extreme stress upon federal workers coming just before Christmas, and I believe that Trump was encouraged to time it to prevent much of the 116th Congress/Nancy Pelosi as Speaker of the House publicity from taking over the airwaves. Plus, Trump wanted a 'showdown' with Speaker Pelosi and to present her with a crisis to deal with instead of the progressive agenda (he hoped)--why else wait for her swearing in as Speaker? Of course, Sean Hannity of Fox News and the other Murdoch shills advised him of this necessity and as you know, power-grabber Trump hates it when someone or an event takes away what he considers 'his' spotlight. Alcyone's tears of affected federal workers and others with no paychecks with which to feed their children are of no consideration for we know what Trump has already done to children.

Yet predictably, if Big T can figure out how to end his Shutdown without too much humiliation, he'll attempt to claim the 'savior' side of the Virgo-Pisces axis! That's unless 25% of the US government inactive is the permanent condition the GOP has longed for all these years. If so, 25% may be just the start with full collapse their ultimate goal (and Putin's).

DC Horoscopes: the March 2019 Lunations of Crisis

January 10, 2019: Today as the Trump Wall stalemate as 'justification' for the bogus, harmful Trump Shutdown continues, news that the Mueller investigation nears its end comes as potential if partial relief to the current level of tension and frustration in America. It is reported that Special Counsel Robert Mueller will begin downsizing his staff soon and that acting AG Rod Rosenstein is preparing to step down from the DOJ, timed by William Barr's assumption of the AG post once his confirmation hearing, apparently scheduled for next week (possibly Tuesday January 15th), wraps up successfully. Then it will probably take several weeks more for Mueller's staff to prepare then present the report which may or not be 'hidden' by Trump supporters in the Department of Justice.

Politically, it seems that the returning Mr. Barr is a shoo-in for the AG post circa 2019 but meanwhile, the fate of the Mueller report is uncertain due to 'Bill' Barr's pre-judgment of the Trump investigation's legality and the iffiness of the timing of Mr. Rosenstein's departure while still managing to protect the investigation against assaults by the guilty-acting Mr. Trump. This week we find that Robert Mueller's report may possibly 'drop' in March 2019 if not in February, so above are the DC Horoscopes of the March 6th New Moon @15Pis47 (conjunct difficult Achernar star of 'crisis' and/or'rapid endings') and deceptive, delusional Neptune (16Pis08), planet of mass media, the masses, lies, fraud, propaganda, bubbles, contagion, fear, paranoia---all in the 10th house of Career and Public Standing when the chart is set for the White House (same for Washington DC). As you see, Mercury is at Station and has turned retrograde which suggests review, reconsideration, or perhaps someone changing their mind about their plans (edit: or a 're-port'?). Sorry to say but Mercury conjoins another difficult star, too--Scheat, a star of misfortune.

Now as you know, a New Moon phase represents a 'seeding' of a new cycle of activity yet this one is clouded by veiling, disguising Neptune, just recently moved beyond its 5th conjunction of 5 (Dec 29, 2018) in the Republican Party's first-ever Neptune Return (14Pis01) Horoscope. Visions of Republicans obscuring Trump's antics and illegalities come to mind although a few GOPers have ventured from behind the curtain and jumped the sinking ship. Perhaps more will stand up and follow suit by March, no matter what secrets Trump, Putin, and/or others hold over them. Yes, I want to believe that not all Republicans are compromised, don't you?!

Then upper right, you see the culminating Full Moon of March 20, 2019 @00Lib09 which perfects a day prior to Spring Equinox 2019 and shows testy Mars @23Taurus conjunct Trump's natal MC and simultaneously nearing the natal Mars of Speaker Nancy Pelosi where raging star Algol blinks. This Full Moon @00Libra, a Cardinal World Point of Manifestation, conjoins the natal Midheaven ('MC' = The Goal; Aspirations) of the United States of America (July 4, 1776 5:09 pm LMT, Philly) so that a cosmic picture of timing and fulfillment is shown by the bright rays of the March 2019 Full Moon yet as I type at you in January, your guess is as good as mine, if not better, as to what Trump and Washington politicians have in mind--assuming that they have a definite plan for our nation at all--other than chaos as they shove our nation toward a constitutional crisis via authoritarian dictator-wanna-be Trump's extreme efforts to unduly expand executive power by ignoring the principles and requirements of the US Constitution.

2018--2019 Transits for Donald John Trump Jr

Brief Astro-Notes on Donald Trump Jr and Transits to Natal 2018--2019

If you wish a peek, the natal horoscope of Donald John Trump, Jr, is rated A (from memory or news reports) and shows a birth hour of 5:20 pm est on December 31, 1977 Manhattan, New York City, New York. A New Years Eve baby was he! And if you haven't, check out his Wiki bio page for more details on 'Little T' where you'll find him perennially yoked to Reality TV, thanks to his dad Big T. But his yoke is loosened from wife Vanessa Kay Haydon as of their divorce announcement on March 15, 2018. A contested or uncontested divorce seems imminent although its status remains a secret, last I heard.

Now theirs has been an intensely passionate partnership which may have included quite a bit of antagonism and volatility (Sun Sco-Moon Ari: "best of friends or worst of enemies" -- and moodiness, with a lack of sensitivity to the partner's feelings--this is a "riding roughshod" combo, say Charles and Suzi Harvey). And if you look at their Wedding Day planets for November 12, 2005, Mar-a-Lago, Florida you'll see their steamy Water-Fire blend--Sun = husband, Moon = wife, theirs a Mars-Pluto (Scorpio)-Mars (Aries) combination of ambition, pride, and subterfuge.

So with Donald Jr's natal Venus @5Cap02 in 6th house, we know that transit Saturn has recently come to call bring sobering conditions to his relationships and the potential for breaking them off. For Donald Jr, this Saturn-to-Venus transit occurred three times in 2018: February 2, July 8, and November 2. Then there's his 6th house Sun @10Cap08 with restrictive Saturn approaching for a direct conjunction only once: on December 21, 2018. This is a period when his responsibilities must be faced and he must deal with the consequences of past decisions and events. He may be or go into isolation as often as he possibly can as 2019 nears. One must wonder if a prison term is being described here by legal eagle Saturn's dampening of his Sun-Venus conjunction of self-satisfaction. If so or not, Donald Trump Jr is definitely dealing with feelings and issues of restriction, limitation, and the specter of a possible future prison term, just as most media outlets report.

Another heavy transit that has occurred all through 2018 is transit Pluto conjunct his natal Descendant (19Cap53) and bringing relationship upheavals. Exact conjunctions of transit Pluto to his natal Descendant in 2018: February 3, July 17, and next on December 9, 2018. This transit marks a period when he is forced to face any relationship problems or issues he has accumulated so of course divorce and divorce settlements concerning his wife and five children are part of the plutonian picture. What this means for his relationship with his father remains to be seen.

Will 2019 Improve for Donald Trump Jr?

Leaving such a value judgment up to you, dear reader, here are a few prominent 2019 transits to Don Jr's natal chart to consider. First, there's the start of three conjunctions of transit Jupiter to his natal Neptune (16Sag44): January 25, July 3, and September 19, 2019. This is a period when pretense and illusion may expand, imagination is enhanced, he may lose whatever touch he's had with reality (or freedom?), paranoia and/or fanaticism may increase, mysteries abound or perhaps are solved, incorrect diagnoses can occur, and scandals and schemes can continue. There is even a possibility of bankruptcy under Jupiter-to-Neptune's inflated, fraudulent influences. Of course, spirituality may increase as well but I'm not suggesting it for the son of a con man such as Trump--unless his mother Ivana provided her first son with such a possibility or interest.

Now one 2019 transit that is particularly fretful is Saturn square natal Pluto (16Lib35 in 4th house conjunct Trump Sr' natal 2nd house Jupiter Stationary). For Trump Sr this transit is a question of economic growth and political success being hampered by imposing authority figures and by endless laws, rules, and regulations. For Trump Jr it's a more existential period when he is being stripped of unnecessary baggage and may have a feeling of stepping into unknown territory. For Junior the exact transit dates are: February 16, July 17, and November 15, 2019.

Then there's a significant Solar Eclipse on July 2, 2019--significant for America since it manifests so near Independence Day 2019 in between our nation's Venus and Jupiter in Cancer (more on this in a future post). Obviously, finances are implicated although business-loving Cancer is a also tribal sign of family and security issues so white nationalism may be part of the eclipse picture as well as the Trump family.

Solar Eclipse @10Can37 July 2, 2019; 3 North Saros Series (a lunation @00Cancer in 3 South is the Prenatal Eclipse of the 9/11 attacks). Themes of 3 North eclipses: 'news involving young people or news that transforms a situation and causes worry or obsession; large plans and activities are taken but don't get carried away' (paraphrasing Brady's Predictive Astrology).

The July 2019 Solar Eclipse is significant for Donald Jr because, among other things, it opposes his natal 6th house Sun (10Cap08) and manifests in his natal 12th house of Politics, Karma, Self-Undoing...and hidden places such as Prisons. Besides any eclipse influences, this 'cosmic blink' marks an 'unbirthday' transit for Don Jr when one is meant to reassess current plans and activities and make a change of course if results have not been not favorable up to that point (6 months after a birthday). But how free will Donald Jr actually be to make any necessary directional changes toward better outcomes? Will he turn witness for Robert Mueller against his father? Doubtful, yet a strong sense of self-preservation runs in the family and reduced sentences are usually cat nip at times of indictment. Well, surely his Pa-pa' will pardon him if at all possible!

A Mars Return Marks a New Two-Year Cycle of Activities and Efforts

Last I shall mention that 2019 is a year of a Mars Return for Donald Jr and it perfects once on July 16, 2019. Setting Don Jr's Mars Return chart for Manhattan, Mars (9Leo04) conjoins the Return IC (5Leo31 with Mars conjunct sexy asteroid Sappho!) from the 4th house side (more domestic troubles?) and shows his planet of motivation, energy, and activity to be under the quixotic rays of transit Uranus as it has squared his natal Mars. This Uranian transit marks a period when relationships with males are fraught with disagreements, disruptions, and possibly with danger--and when efforts may meet with unexpected results. In addition, transit Uranus, today @29Aries Rx, has been ruffling Donald Jr's natal 10th house Chiron (1Tau09 Rx) off and on suggesting feelings of rebellion and a tendency to act on impractical impulses (Nolle). Of course, his father is quite the quirky Uranian with chaotic impulses and notions shown every day as provided by Big T's guiding planet, his 10th house Uranus in duplicitous Gemini for it's the leader of all Trump Sr's natal planets.

Thankfully for Don Jr there is a grace note found in another aspect in his July 2019 Mars Return chart, an applying trine from Jupiter (6A29) to Mars indicating that a Jupiterian figure will provide Donald Trump Jr with beneficial aid in his hour of need and this may describe a pardon or other legal and/or financial help from his dad, Donald Trump Sr., or it could relate to benefits from wealthy financiers and promoters of the Trump Family...perhaps a cushy, pimped-up prison pad?

Astro-Notes on acting AG Matthew Whitaker

The Wikipedia page of Trump's newly named acting AG Matthew Whitaker (politician) gives his birth date as October 29, 1969, Ankeny, Iowa so let's take a peek at the planets on that day to suss him out a bit for it seems we'll be stuck with him. His Sun is in Scorpio but naturally only a range of degrees for his natal Moon can be ascertained without an accurate birth hour. His Luna position during the 24 hours of his birth day varies from 21Gem16 to 3Can24 thus creating two potential Sun-Moon personality blends. Brief details of both are listed, below, and are taken from the Harveys' Sun Sign-Moon Sign:

Plus, details concerning Mr. Whitaker's Prenatal Solar Eclipse Saros Series ('PE') follow along with a few of the transiting planets for November 7, 2018 which link to Whitaker's natal planets on that day (with the DOJ's chain of command ignored by Trump = unconstitutional).

An ethereal, misty Water-Air Sun Scorpio-Moon Gemini denotes a passionate yet detached fellow gifted with the psychological understanding of a counselor and therapist. Endlessly curious and insightful about human emotions, Whitaker can be volatile, restless, satirizing, voyeuristic and tends to engage in off-again on-again involvements. One Image for Integration stands out: "Trivial Pursuits goes macabre."

A Sun Scorpio-Moon Gemini blend also pertains to Fyodor Dostoyevsky who informed us that, "If the devil doesn't exist, but man has created him, he has created him in his own likeness."

A sentimental, emotional double Water blend of Sun Scorpio-Moon Cancer suggests the 'mailed fist in a velvet glove' sort of person who is very perceptive, clannish, shrewd, and charismatic with a strong sense of duty. So as you can tell, I'm leaning toward a secretive Cancer Moon for Mr. Whitaker to 'go with' Trump's clannish, shrewd natal Mercury in Cancer although a Gemini Moon would resonate well with Trump's natal Uranus-NN-Sun trio.

So as you know, Matt Whitaker was named acting AG on November 7, 2018 beneath the darkened rays of a New Moon @15Sco11 (when shady activities can flourish). In no particular order, transits to his natal planets (sans natal Moon) include:

Mars trine natal Mercury (25Libra): thoughts can be turned into action, mentality is energized, good news and/or good fortune arrive/s, lots of meetings are held, and business ventures are favored.

Venus Rx conjunct natal Mercury (26Libra): agreeable meetings and communications with allies involved in joint endeavors.

Authoritative planet of karma Saturn sextile natal Sun (6Scorpio): an opportunity is provided via a more mature or senior authority figure to demonstrate leadership ability--a chance to 'get ahead' is offered.

Saturn trine natal Saturn (5Taurus Rx): making plans, lifestyle changes are stabilized.

Saturn square natal Uranus (6Libra): great tension, challenges, and upsets.

Pluto sextile natal North Node (20Pisces) - both planet and point are karmic: destiny beckons, reaping the benefits of past actions (he's written and given his opinion on legal matters in Trump's favor multiple times), and...powerful events change the future.

A 7 South Prenatal Solar Eclipse

As for Matthew Whitaker's PE, it manifested prior to his birth on September 11, 1969 @18Vir53 in the 7 South Saros Series with themes of: 'force, anger, and power' via the 'Mars-Pluto energies contained in 7 South's initial eclipse' of June 22, 1248 OS @8Can03--conjunct Trump's natal Mercury @8:51!); 'huge obstacles will suddenly, easily clear, or, negatively, a pending potential crisis will manifest with a sense that everything is moving at great speed' (Brady's Predictive Astrology). A 7 South eclipse last manifested on October 3, 2005 @10Libra (between Whitaker's natal Venus @15Libra and Uranus @6Libra) and will next perfect on October 14, 2023 @21Libra 'eclipsing' his natal Jupiter (20Lib41) and occurring near the natal Jupiter (17Libra) of Donald Trump.

So as it turns out, both men are charter members of the "it's not fair!" club of Jupiter in Libra, sign of the Scales of Justice. A cozy connection, perhaps, but there are a few other planetary links not so cozy between their natal planets which I may discuss in a future post if Mr. Whitaker manages to hang on to his new exalted position in the Department of Justice.

AG Sessions fired with Saturn conjunct natal Mars

When Attorney General Jeff Sessions was fired yesterday, November 7, 2018, transiting Saturn, strong in its own sign of Capricorn, sign of law, government, and authority, was sitting directly upon the natal Mars of former Senator Sessions (5Cap30).

Now the Mars-Saturn duo describes many things, among them hard work, destroyed vitality, harmful or destructive energy, and the 'death axis' (Ebertin). And apparently, White House Chief of Staff John Kelly made the phone call for we know that Trump would use someone else to do his 'dirty work' like The Don he is. (But some "embraces" you just don't want.)

So when restrictive Saturn, planet of karma, visits natal Mars, there are potentials (in this case, born out) for male relationships to break off, physical efforts to be ended or stopped, and any chronic health conditions to flare up (plus, transit Saturn has just recently dampened his natal Sun in very early Capricorn and with his Moon (physical body) in the range of 9Cap25 to 21Cap50, we know that his Moon is Saturnized or will be, not to mention the current transit of powerful Pluto's transformative stylings as he trods through Capricorn--ouch! Or the recent contact of the North Node with Sessions' natal Saturn-Pluto conjunction in Leo--double ouch!)

Additionally, the Saturn-to-Mars transit also suggests that as AG, Jeff Sessions circumvented the authority of Donald Trump when he recused himself from oversight of the Mueller investigation, thus enraging Trump against him, as we know. Thing is, his recusal was warranted since Sessions was a member of Trump Campaign 2016 although Mr. Trump pretends otherwise--it was his mistake to nominate Sessions in the first place. My question today is whether or not Jeff Sessions could be indicted for his contacts with foreign operatives during the 2016 Campaign, the contacts he lied about (perjured himself) before Congress, then finally admitted.

Yet even if the topic of a Sessions indictment 'disappears' from view or isn't warranted or pursued, I doubt we've heard the last of Jeff Sessions who may regroup and focus on a future course of action--also a possibility with the Mars-Saturn duo. And of course Trump's naming of loyalist Matthew Whitaker as temporary AG (without Senate confirmation) now opens a new can of Trumpian worms especially since some believe that partisan Whitaker, who has conflict of interest links to various players in the drama, should recuse himself from involvement with the Mueller investigation, too.

Rod Rosenstein's Eclipse Repeats Jan 6, 2019

Is it curious that a Solar Eclipse in the Prenatal Saros Series of current-as-I-type Deputy AG Rod Rosenstein (2 South) repeats @15Cap25 on January 6, 2019? This Thursday September 27, 2018, AG Rosenstein is to meet with Donald Trump at the White House so it remains to be seen whether he'll retain his position in the Department of Justice or leave the protection of Robert Mueller to someone else.

But even so, his Prenatal Eclipse ('PE') repeats, this time in mid-Capricorn instead of its original eclipse degree of 12Sagittarius which manifested on December 4, 1964. As you know, the theme of 2 South is 'joining an unusual group and gaining a great deal from it' (Brady). And of course, Saturn-ruled Capricorn is the sign of government, law, and business, and 12Sag is at or near the natal Ascendant of the United States of America.

Wonder if Mr. Rosenstein has a new group of associates awaiting him?

DC Horoscope: Saturn Direct Station September 6, 2018

August 22, 2018: In my last post we made note of yesterday's legal matters in the Manafort and Cohen cases and the fact that August 21, 2018 was the day of the first Solar Return to the horoscope of The Great American Eclipse of 2017 @29Leo which 'eclipsed' the natal Ascendant of Donald Trump. And of course, eclipses that conjoin fixed stars tend to activate the gifts or cautions of said star--in this case, royal Regulus which rises in Trump's natal chart. In a sense, he is Regulus.

So on the day that transit Saturn, authority and legal eagle that he is, turns direct and begins moving forward, transit Mercury @00Vir38 conjoins Regulus in the 12th house of Politics, Back Room Deals, Secret Enemies, and Karma, as you see in the following DC Horoscope:

Legal matters should move ahead once Saturn turns Direct yet the karmic planet won't reach his shadow degree where he turned Rx on April 17, 2018 (9Cap08:55) until December 12, 2018 (see chart, lower left). Two days prior (December 10, 2018), transit Saturn makes his third of three oppositions to Mr. Trump's natal Mercury (8Can51) as notated on the chart, lower right and upper right, in blue. Unfortunately, loss-bringer Saturn, when in his own sign of Capricorn, isn't positive for finances or the economy so there could be forward movement in those departments as well with negativity suggested.

These Saturnian oppositions to Trump's natal Mercury began on March 30, 2018 with the second exact opposition May 6, 2018 as listed, chart right. Therefore, Saturn is in process of winding up review mode during which he's been getting his facts lined up (on both sides--Trump's and Mueller's) yet we may not see major developments in the RussiaGate inquiry until December 12, 2018 or just before or after. That's unless Saturn's case is strong enough and helpful witnesses have cooperated to fill in the gaps in the case/s so that the report from Mr. Mueller that we're all waiting for can be finalized around September 6, 2018 or during the month (pre-Midterms 2018!) then perhaps the report will be publicly revealed by December 2018 whether Mr. Trump's 'interview' with Mr. Mueller is accomplished or not. If Trump is deposed, there's no telling how matters will develop...or how they will blow up in his red face.

Actually, transit Saturn opposing Trump's natal Mercury is only part of his ongoing Saturnian troubles because he was born with a fact-challenged Mercury-Neptune square. Here's a previous post with a list of Saturn's affects on both planets in the square and the dates of exactitude when influences are strongest.

As for chart-ruler Mercury in its own sign of Virgo (also ruler of the MC, The Goal Point), two applying Ptolemaic aspects are shown: Mercury trine Uranus in Taurus (1A34; organized groups, beneficial info arrives, larger social and/or tech issues on the menu) and Mercury trine Saturn (1A54; support from authority figures, practical solutions are found). As you see, these three form an Earth Grand Trine, a soothing indicator of protection, stability, persistence, and endurance, yet negatively, 'stuck in a rut' may also describe this conservative, common-sense, routine-loving pattern which tends to shrewdly evaluate matters before making important moves.

Mr. Mueller and his staff come to mind. Mr. Trump and his staff do not.

Now there are multiple factors worth noting in the chart other than the ones noted, above, such as Denebola rising (to go against society), planetary patterns (2 YODs, a Grand Cross), house ruler-ships, a Syzygy Moon in early Pisces (August 26th Full Moon), the Solar Eclipse in force ('The Tower' @18Leo41), the stressed out Sun-Neptune opposition square MC with royal Rigel upon it (to bring knowledge to others), and more. To my March 2018 post concerning the natal Mercury of Donald Trump and its position of '8 Cancer' in Carelli's Degrees (which is spot-on if you haven't read it), here are some basic facts about Mercury in Moon-ruled Cancer which seem to me to particularly apply to Donald Trump who continues to tease about sitting down for an 'interview' with Special Counsel Robert Mueller in the ongoing RussiaGate inquiry. For as you know, astrological Mercury, our mutable and changeable 'tofu planet', rules many things...among them: the mind, thinking processes, teaching and learning, speech, hearing and all the senses, interviews, testimonies, perjury, negotiations, oaths, decisions, news, gossip, tweets and communications of all sorts along with commerce, trade, travel, and theft:

Mercury in Cancer indicates a mind that is influenced by deep-seated emotional patterns and desires which cause one to look at some facts while ignoring others. This allows bias, prejudice, a lack of objectivity, and incorrect judgments to result. A good memory may be denoted due to the emotional intensity associated with various thoughts and learning often occurs through osmosis rather than by traditional teaching methods. The osmosis accounts in part for his tendency to 'listen to the last thing he heard someone say' and then to spout it as his own thought which can change in a flash due to high susceptibility to the thoughts, opinions, and attitudes of those in his environment (ex: FOX News). Emotional appeals hold particular sway over Mercury in Cancer's thinking with patriotism on the top of the list (Cancer = home, homeland, family, mother, women, real estate, nurturing such as food, comfort, familiar surroundings). As you must have noticed, Mr. Trump exhibits 24/7 the Mercury in Cancer trait of believing that whatever is done or spoken within his environment is directed expressly or exclusively toward him.

Supremely subjective (and with me-first Mars rising), Trump also suffers from being stuck in the past with slights and injuries forever remembered (or imagined) although they may have blossomed beyond recognition into worse than was ever intended; meanwhile, present reality becomes distorted to the point of neurosis and a morbid imagination may be one of the outcomes.

If Mercury in Cancer is negatively afflicted as is his by a square from natal Neptune in Libra, untruthfulness, deceit, and a self-created fantasy world are prevalent such as we see through Trump's Mercury afflicted (squared) by nebulous Neptune, planet of lies, falsehoods, deceit, fraud, loss, misconception, fantasy, tall tales, self-deception, gas lighting, and confusion. These Neptunian effects are made stronger due to the fact that the square from Neptune is his Mercury's only planetary aspect so no other planet adds what could have been a speck of objectivity to his thinking via 'tofu planet' Mercury which soaks up whatever it touches. For Mr. Trump, it only soaks up watery urge-to-merge Neptune!

And as astrologer Alan Oken aptly terms it, a Mercury-Neptune square is an aspect of "The Sneaky Mind" and whether the secretive Mr. Trump tells lies unconsciously or not, Hillary Clinton's natal Mercury-Saturn square in the White House would have been more serious, studious, and fact-based than the morass of deceit, betrayal, and disappointment America stews in now as stirred by Donald Trump--these days always operating in pearl-clutching mode because he can't keep up with all the lies he's told and is afraid to be challenged over his many tall tales.

Trump's Prenatal Solar Eclipse repeats July 12, 2018

Solar Eclipse @20Cancer41 July 12, 2018 10:47:47 pm edt Washington DC in the 2 Old North Saros Series. This is a repeat of Donald Trump's 2 Old North Prenatal Solar Eclipse (PE) which perfected @8Gem48 on May 30, 1946 prior to his birth on June 14, 1946 in Queens, New York. Note that his PE conjoined US natal Uranus @8Gemini55 (July 4, 1776) and that Uranus is the planet of separation, revolt, and chaos.

Themes of 2 Old North include potentials for 'taking action concerning personal relationships; unfortunate news regarding friendships or relationships; separations; endings of unions; glum conditions but fast action can bring positive results (paraphrasing Brady's Predictive Astrology).

Basic chart details are penned upon the image (exs: Mars out-of-bounds, Hour of Jupiter; Jupiter and Neptune chart-rulers trine one another--see lower left), and marked in green are Trump's natal planets and angles. Pluto @20Capricorn opposes the eclipse with both at critical-crisis degrees (20Can-Cap) across the 5/11 axis; the Sabian Symbol of the eclipse degree rounded up '21Cancer' = "A Prima Donna Singing' and notated, lower right, is "A Prima Donna Singing" since Trump's name is Don, of course, and today everyone continues to wonder if Trump will 'sit down' with Special Counsel Robert Mueller and 'sing' about his involvement with Vladimir Putin and Russian oligarch funding of his 2016 campaign. And answer Mueller's questions on obstruction.

This eclipse chart is infused with Jupiter-Neptune, the speculation/grand schemes pair and, as you see, Trump's natal Neptune-Chiron-Jupiter trio is in 7th house of Partnerships (in Washington DC; but in his 2nd house natally) and the midpoint of the Plutocracy pair of Jupiter and Pluto graces the Midheaven denoting those in power positions with great ambition to succeed. At apex of the Jupiter-Uranus midpoint is Mars Rx OOBs, well-hidden in the 12th house of Politics, Karma, and Self-Undoing and conjoined by the transiting South Node, a Saturnian point of separation. Mars-SN has a military ring to it (Trump's Mars and Pluto in Leo, plus his natal ASC, are in the 6th house of Military, Police, and Civil Service), and describes loners who act upon their own decisions without regard to the opinions of others--and may be out-of-step with societal norms. Plus, transit Mars opposing Trump's natal Pluto (10Leo02) indicates a period of hostile forces lined up against him and a lack of control on his part to affect outcomes--a karmic condition is indicated (reaping what's been sown).

Eroding Neptune in shady Pisces rising in the 1st house of this chart suggests conditions continuing such as scandals, deceits, cover-ups, leaks, disappointment, and loss, even thievery. Large water events such as flooding are also possibilities, along with plenty of tears--especially for those under Trump's watchful raptor's eye, aka, most anyone who isn't wealthy or famous. That his Prenatal Solar Eclipse now repeats as it does every 18.6 years spotlights the themes of his 2 Old North Saros Series, as noted above, and we'll soon see how significant, if at all, they become regarding events in his life. Of course, Trump's cruel policy of separating children from their parents at the border has already followed the eclipse's 'separation' theme--and this done for the political purpose of snagging the billions of dollars he demands in order to allegedly build a border wall. Yet I still wonder if he thinks he can keep a bunch of the money for himself!

Well, there are many other chart factors of note in this eclipse chart but it will soon be July so I'll close this post now and publish it this evening. Complaining about Trump and his anti-government handmaidens like eugenics-booster Stephen Miller does take a toll yet hopefully later in July my surgery sagas will be over and we can discuss more interesting topics than the fearfully misguided, anti-social administration run by autocratic Republicans and the orange-haired mascot they hope to hide behind in November.

Special Counsel Mueller and asteroid Mueller!

If you're like me, you have a life and so you've been making meager attempts to keep up with the news on the Mueller investigation while longing to appreciate the happy parade of attorneys hired by Donald Trump in an effort to keep him in the Oval Office. Perhaps you've caught up with the five-minute April 20, 2018 MSNBC segment "Very Unlikely Rudy Guiliani Will End Robert Mueller Investigation", a video that is something of a hoot if you haven't heard it. Basically, New Yorkers Rudy and Donnie are too much alike!

1944 Meets 2017

The reason I'm thinking (again) of the Mueller investigation is that as I looked through a list of personal name asteroids I noticed asteroid Mueller (number 4031) so I plugged in Robert Mueller's birth date (August 7, 1944) at serennu.com and discovered Mueller @2Leo32. Then I checked the horoscope of the day Mr. Mueller was appointed Special Counsel in the Russia-Trump Probe (May 17, 2017) and there was asteroid Atlantis @2Leo01--key phrases: where we feel doomed, divine retribution -- and also the abuse of power!

So given that Astrology works in an AC-DC fashion (energies flow in both directions or alternate) some will say that the abuse of power is on Special Counsel Mueller's side. But for those who believe Robert Mueller's ethics trump those of con man/reality 'star' Donald Trump, you know the feeling of doom must be all on the side of the kingpin-in-chief.

1776 Meets 1946

In addition, you know I had to check for Trump's asteroid Mueller on his date of birth (June 14, 1946) and it clocks in @13Ari05--closely opposing America's natal Saturn exalted in Libra (14:48) and planet of government, law, business--and The Establishment.

Trump and the 1973 Eclipse of the Saturday Night Massacre

Richard Nixon's firing of Special Prosecutor Archibald Cox Jr (1912--2004) in what came to be called Nixon's Saturday Night Massacre is being too well evoked by the current circumstances surrounding Donald Trump under threat by the Mueller investigation. Since history tends to rhyme, let's consider a potential 'time link' between the Prenatal Solar Eclipse of Nixon's action and the natal planets of Mr. Trump (June 14, 1946 10:54 am Queens, NY) since eclipses provide a handy time frame in which to place and investigate historical events and their effect or influence upon individuals. And with Solar Eclipses, their themes chime in with further details of the cosmic weather of the period.

Nixon's firing of Archibald Cox was finally achieved when Robert Bork (1927--2012) agreed to do the deed. The firing of the Special Prosecutor was announced on the evening of October 20, 1973 at 8:24 pm, White House, according to contemporary news reports. A chart set for this date, hour, and location shows US natal Uranus (8Gem55) rising--our totem planet of war and rebellion and suggesting sudden or erratic actions. Aldebaran also rises (success through integrity), plus, an immediate time link to Trump is apparent for this is the degree of Trump's own Prenatal Solar Eclipse (and his Syzygy Moon) in the 2 Old North Saros Series which repeats July 13, 2018 @20Cancer41 (conjunct starry Castor with its potentials for sudden loss, crippling of limbs, murder). 2 Old North is a difficult series with themes of 'unfortunate news concerning relationships, separation, the ending of unions, and glum looking situations which can turn out quite positively (paraphrasing Brady's Predictive Astrology). Or not especially if mishandled (jc).

The October 20, 1973 'firing' chart also shows Nixon's natal Pluto (28Gem39 Rx), planet of power and manipulation, as the first of his n planets to rise along with two difficult midpoints (Saturn-MC and Saturn-Pluto which describe his cumbersome and difficult conditions). But troubles are often self-created--and these disturbing events occurred during the years in which yours truly resided in Washington DC. In the 'firing' chart for Mr. Trump, his natal trio of Uranus-NN-Sun is first to rise with Uranus his oriental or guiding planet of erratic behavior and chaos. He's Mr. Unpredictable!

As for the Prenatal Solar Eclipse of Nixon's Saturday Night Massacre, it was Total and manifested in the 11 South Saros Series on June 30, 1973 @8Can31--conjunct the natal Mercury of Donald Trump who had just turned 27 at the time but had a good two years to go until his first Saturn Return (23Can48). Themes of 11 South are harrowing and have activated multiple negative events through the years: 'old ideas and methods will fail, new systems are required to deal with events brought by the eclipse, reforms are needed, new ideas for handling issues, any blocks could be violently or tragically removed' (Brady). However, 11 South won't repeat until August 2, 2027 @10Leo--conjunct the natal Pluto of Donald Trump.

Now there are massive amounts of information in all these charts, natal and otherwise, but since this is a post not a book, I'll simply mention that the 1973 PE horoscope also shows that it manifested during an Hour of an unaspected Jupiter (10AQ41 Rx). This suggests erroneous judgment, a lack of buoyancy in affairs, and Nixon's detached 'ivory tower' existence. Yes, I remember well the tales going around the city of his drunken wanderings through White House halls, muttering at portraits. But I've yet to hear whether or not the portraits talked back--but if they did, I wonder if Crooked Dick took their advice.

Astro-Notes on the Firing of Andrew McCabe

March 17, 2018: by now you've heard of the Friday night firing of FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe a mere 26 hours before his scheduled retirement from the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Attorney General Jeff Sessions did the deed no doubt at the direction of Donald Trump who desperately wants to shut down the Mueller investigation into Trump and Trump Organization finances, funding and, shall we say, other activities.

Andrew McCabe was born on March 18, 1968 and was fired 2 days prior to his 50th birthday when he had planned to retire from service. Naturally, astrologers see that Mr.McCabe is due for his Chiron Return which occurs for everyone around the age of 50, give or take a year. Mr. McCabe's Return is aptly significant, as we see, for he was born with Sun and Chiron conjoined in late Pisces (man on a mission). Being fired from his long-held law enforcement position of authority hours before retirement and negating the receipt of a subsequent pension can certainly be considered a Chirotic wounding to his sense of mission in life and to his ego (Sun-Chiron).

And if we check for additional planetary activation, we find that transit Uranus in Aries, planet of disruption, separation, shocks, explosive events, and anger, is in process of visiting McCabe's natal Mars (23Aries) suggesting a period when endeavors (and employment) are halted or discontinued, highly charged activities are in force, shocks are felt, missteps may be taken (on his or another's part), and regrettable situations exist. Even danger cannot be ruled out.

Curiously, vibes of the Mars-Uranus pair of premature action, brutality, and radical reform were also active when former FBI Director James Comey testified on Capitol Hill in 2017 as you may see in the horoscope of Comey's Testimony June 8, 2017. Manafort Trial Reset for September 17, 2018

March 1, 2018: since yesterday, word is that the Paul Manafort trial has been reset for Monday September 17, 2018. It had been scheduled for March 15, 2018, a date of cosmic occurrences such as a seed-planting New Moon @24Taurus36--conjunct the natal Midheaven of Donald Trump, and the day transit Uranus enters Taurus, sign of The Bull, though the disruptive planet of chaos will back into Aries once again in November 2018 and re-enter Venus-ruled Taurus for good in March 2019.

A glance at the general transits of September 17, 2018 show an excitable if not explosive and dangerous Mars-Uranus square, tr Mercury (planet of testimonies, deals, and such) @21Virgo and conjoining fixed star Denebola (to go against society; out of the mainstream), and a sobering or depressive Moon-Saturn conjunction in very early Capricorn, sign of government, law, and business. And since world events tend to occur when Cardinal World Points of Manifestation (00Ari/Lib and 00Can/Cap) are triggered, we find wounded-wounding Chiron at Aries Point on that day and conjunct difficult fixed star Scheat with its potentials for malevolence of sublime scope, imprisonment, extreme misfortune, murder, suicide (A. Louis, N. DeVore, Ebertin-Hoffmann).

Additionally, transit Jupiter, planet of expansion and increase, sits upon the disturbing degree of 19Scorpio (traditionally an 'evil degree'--Devore, who also says it's a crucial point of Ego vs Supreme Will) so Jupiter may not show the protection usually afforded especially since two malevolent stars inhabit the degree: North Scale with potentials for hasty words that cause problems, tragedy, and violence, and Serpentis (aka, Unukalhai) with vibes of tragedy, misfortune, immorality, accidents, and/or danger of poison. Wonder of Mr. Manafort should use the services of a royal taste tester?!

Also of interest is the fact that moving Mr. Manafort's trial to September places the proceedings into the more difficult August 11, 2018 Solar Eclipse Saros Series, the 2 New North, with themes of The Tower that collapses (Brady). This includes plans and lifestyles collapsing and of course, Trump Tower comes easily to mind and although a complete financial and political collapse may be indicated for America (2 New North is the PE of Midterm Elections 2018--and as a POTUS goes, so goes America). However, it's Donald Trump who is closely linked to towers, even imprinting his name on them. Now this cosmic condition may very possibly bode ill for the Trump White House and for all he has gained so far in life because he regularly tends to ignore the karmic caution of his rising star, royal Regulus: success if revenge is avoided. And if it isn't avoided, at some point all that has been gained will be taken away.

Yet if total collapse is on the kingpin-in-chief's karmic agenda, would his Libran Jupiter's motto of "it's not fair!" agree that even a self-exalted, ego-based Mr. Trump must eventually reap what he's sown?
