As you know, Donald Trump is an "eclipse baby" because the day he was born, June 14, 1946, a Lunar Eclipse perfected @23Sag04, just a few hours after he was born. This cosmic event is significant by degree although how so is anyone's guess. To me it denotes that 4 South themes will affect Trump on a personal level and his flaws and foibles in those departments (relationships and finances) will be more starkly cast under a public spotlight and/or there will be some type of closure or culmination in his life possibly in the realms of relationships, partnerships, and/or marriage (Sun to Moon). Plus, inconvenient secrets may be uncovered or leaked to the press.

Yes, scandals and changes of direction are always potentials with 'wild card' eclipses and here one disruptive eclipse is piled upon another creating a cosmic time link between 1946 and 2020 and bringing a boatload of karma his and our way. Of course, finances, resources, budgets, and investments are also suggested by the 4 South Eclipse ('strong emotional feelings about money and/or relationships; obstacles; sudden endings of relationships; a feeling of fate'--Brady). Then when we search for events of 1946 we find that on Trump's day of birth, the Bernard Baruch Plan was proposed to the United Nations. This proposal involved an international organization for the regulation of atomic energy, plus, the UN itself is brought into the 2020 eclipse picture along with post-war America and Germany, and potential threats and disruptions to various other international alliances and networks that Trump works hard to destroy on behalf of his pal Putin. But Trump 2020 + atomic energy?? Not an equation fit for musing upon in my book.

Meanwhile, many things positive and negative can and will happen between now and December 2020. Of course, one scheduled event is the 2020 General Election on November 3rd, hints of which may very well be indicated in the December 2020 eclipse chart, above, whether Trump games the electoral system as in 2016 or not.

As previously discussed, and with a tri-wheel of return horoscopes shown, Ronald Reagan is in process of posthumously enjoying another Jupiter Return, part of what everyone born on Earth enjoys--the Jupiter Reward Cycle which occurs approximately every 11.6 years. With his natal Jupiter in Big Money Scorpio (@13:44), Mr. Reagan in his day was intensely interested in gaining control, garnering money, and hitting the jackpot as he declared upon signing the Garn-St. Germain Depository Institutions Act of 1982 which economist Paul Krugman, in his NYT op-ed of May 31, 2009, himself declared, "--turned the modest-sized troubles of savings-and-loan institutions into an utter catastrophe." And the tremendously lucrative Reagan "jackpot" paid off years later as the worst economic crisis since the Great Depression. You remember how Wall Street was bailed out by taxpayers--but not Main Street where the 99% stroll...and show up for work.

So here's a re-publish of the tri-wheel of Reagan's current yet posthumous Jupiter Return/s in case you don't care to follow the link provided above or read details:

So in 2018 we have 'Republican' Donald Trump shakily steering the Blimp of State and the Trump Tariffs are promising and/or actually triggering bilious reflux in markets, on Capitol Hill, and locally as US workers and their families are already 'paying the price' for Trump's grandstanding over this particular campaign promise which drags job losses and trade wars in its wake. Some of our national politicians are dreading 2018 Midterms with the Republican Party hijacked as the 'Trump Party' and we know it's all or nothing with cultish Donald who refuses to take prisoners.

And yet today, as HuffPost reports, a Progressive Democrat Bails Out Trump on Tariffs--that's Ohio Senator Sherrod Brown. He has his reasons--or thinks he does, and good as they may be, this fail makes the US Senate look more toothless against Trump than before.

Now a reason to bring up all this now, besides the fact that we're mired within Reagan's current three-fer Jupiter Return/s (perfecting on December 14, 2017, June 24, 2018 Rx (just past), and next on July 26, 2018, as you see in the horoscopes above) is that transit Jupiter Stations and turns Direct on July 10, 2018--@13Sco20. Basically, this Station conjoins (and strengthens) Reagan's natal Jupiter degree and, consulting our Great Cosmic Clock, we find that the 2018 Jupiter Station occurs between Reagan's second and third exact Return upon his natal Jupiter.

It's as if The Gipper's (greedy) Jupiter has come again under tutelage of (gilted) Donald Trump. As if US workers needed that or will be supported by it. As if.

Yet the degree's symbol should also be considered here and I suspect that anyone reading this post has access to at least one version of the Sabian Symbols but fewer may have a copy of The 360 Degrees of the Zodiac by Adriano Carelli. And it just so happens that Carelli gives a curious symbol (word picture) for '13Scorpio' (he champions the actual degree, not the rounded-up degree). Which is:

"A lonely stronghold on a high mountain top, a veritable eagle's nest. The place is fortified by nature itself rather than by man's hand. It is the key-point of the region, and its possession grants sway over the neighboring states."

This symbol describes one who has been earmarked by fate "to occupy an eminent, independent position and to hold sway over others, owing to his inborn inexhaustible force. To obey him is a matter of course, nearly of necessity.

An untiring, hard worker, he is fully confident in himself, and his firmness of purpose borders on stubbornness. Carelli then cites '13Scorpio' as the degree of Napoleon Bonaparte's Ascendant although either one of us may be able to think of one or more modern day despots which this symbol could also describe, if not the seemingly mild Mr. Reagan. So is the 'stronghold' Washington DC? Perhaps, but first I must wonder--exactly where in Helsinki, Finland will Trump and Putin rendezvous on July 16, 2018? Perhaps in a naturally fortified strong-hold, secluded on a mountain top? Wouldn't that be so-o-o romantic!

In closing, here's an excerpt from a December 2, 2017 post published to 'honor' the passage of the Republican Tax Cut Bill, the massive give-away to Corporate America--yet another "jackpot" for the wealthy stolen at our expense:

April 5, 2018: Thanks to the Buttonwood Agreement on the morning of May 17, 1792, 24 stock brokers and merchants formed what we now 'lovingly' call the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) and what I tend to call the Wall Street Casino (you take your chances and the game is rigged). However, this was not the first American stock exchange for the Philadelphia Stock Exchange had formed two years prior.

This week with Mercury retrograde until April 15, 2018, I've been culling through charts, notebooks, and scribbled notes in an attempt to create order out of my own personal chaos and have just discovered a decrepit little notebook that includes the founding data of the Buttonwood Agreement including the time: 7:52 am. This May 17, 1792 horoscope had been in my files for years until it and hundreds of other astrology charts were lost in a pc crash a few years ago. Since then I have been using a NYSE chart set for May 11, 1869, the after-war Re-oranization horoscope so I'm glad to add the 1792 horoscope back to my files. Unfortunately, I have no record of how the hour was ascertained (historical record perhaps?) but here's the chart for future reference:

NYSE 2018: Ups-n-Downs Volatility

Previous posts on such topics include: wealth-hoarder Pluto's upcoming shift as Astrologer Warns of Pluto Crossing October 31, 2018 and Natal YOD of the NYSE activated by Trading Halt which occurred on July 8, 2015 for 3 hours 32 minutes. Post details include a YOD crisis pattern which may, or may not as it turns out, point toward restrictive, law-abiding Saturn. If not, or if I explained chart factors badly, it's a mea culpa.

Jupiter-Neptune: Speculation, Bubbles, and Bursts

However, the Buttonwood natal chart of 1792 seen above does contain a crisis-turning-point-special-task YOD pattern of sorts involving Mercury-MC = Jupiter Rx with suggestions of recognition, publicity, success, good fortune, and an optimistic outlook, a phrase we've occasionally heard applied to the stock market through the years. And since moneybags Jupiter conjoins fraudulent dreamer Neptune in the 1792 chart (in Venus-ruled Libra) we may wish to include Neptune as apex of Mercury-MC as well with its varying tendencies toward fantastic notions, disappointments, a 'can't lose' position, lax or self-deceptive practices, and/or confused judgments (Ebertin-Munkasey-Tyl midpoint pictures combined).

Also note that 1792 Venus, ruler of evaluations, valuables, and small amounts of money, recently returned to her natal degree of 5Tau23 on April 4, 2018 beginning a new cycle of Venusian activities. In the Venus Return 2018 chart, Venus trines the current (now separating) Mars-Saturn conjunction which perfected @8Cap57 on April 2, 2018.

Trump Tanks Stock Market 2018 Messes with Amazon: Just Like Putin Would Do!

If only Russia's Vladimir Putin had an operative inside the US to do his bidding! Someone highly positioned inside the US government so that Nikita Khrushchev's prognostication in 1956 that Russia would one day "bury" America because history was on Russia's side could come true!

Plus, Putin may harbor more than a little sense of 'payback' due to his humiliation at the Disintegration of the Soviet Union on December 25, 1991 when the hammer (Mars) and sickle (Saturn) flag over the Kremlin was lowered for the last time. Last time? Promise? Well, given Trump's idolatry of Putin and Donnie's preference for dictator-style governing, I'm not convinced the Soviet Union flag won't fly again, are you? Perhaps over the White House with Trump the Tool in charge--or dismissed? Thing is, revenge is sweet for some like Trump and Putin and in 1991 the US should not have chortled over the demise of the Soviet Union into 15 separate countries as being proof of a "triumph of democracy over totalitarianism" and "capitalism over socialism." It's always a bad idea to poke The Bear and we see totalitarian governments now rising all over the globe as Earth heats up. The same correlation has occurred in the past and history does tend to rhyme, on one side's particular side or the other.

Also it's doubtful that global leaders of the transnational variety intend for America to be leader of their next 'new world order' when it's fully implemented. Some say the leadership role will be China's or Russia's, or on an alternating basis but without the US whose 'new order' reign was always intended to last from 1776 to 2025 or so. Perhaps we need to ask high-level Freemasons about that little rumor--not that they would spill those particular beans before they're fully boiled. Anyway, the Big Picture is in process now (1993 Uranus-Neptune @18Cap = transit Pluto: the big picture must be followed, very little option to do otherwise (Tyl); 18Capricorn = "The Union Jack Flies Over a British Warship": POLITICAL POWER...negative expression: smug or strong-armed paternalism' and police power to "maintain the social order" (Rudhyar). Or is that actually a hammer and sickle flag?

Okay, maybe Trump's current campaign against Amazon and Jeff Bezos doesn't rise to such a traitorous level but when added to other curiosities between Trump and Putin it satisfies yours truly as part of a Russian 'collapse America campaign' which seems to involve the themes of the The Tower Solar Eclipse of August 11, 2018 @19Leo which is the Prenatal Solar Eclipse of the 2018 Midterm Elections (another meddling can of worms).

Is it curious that Jeff Bezos built Amazon Tower, a 524-foot structure which opened on December 14, 2015 in Seattle, WA where he founded Amazon on July 5, 1994? Is the Amazon Tower in Trump's grumbling cross hairs? We shall see, as they say. But after all, how dare the richest man in the world build a Tower as if he's a Donald Trump, right? Because vengeful Mars-rising Trump, master of retaliation, might grouse just this way over Mr. Bezos and his accomplishments which 'tower' over Trump's--until he took over the Oval Office from which he can take revenge.

As for Wall Street, I'll add one final note to this rambling post: that the 1792 NYSE horoscope when progressed shows that a Progressed (SP) Full Moon perfected @7Can25 (conjunct Trump's natal Mercury @8Cancer, planet of trades, commerce, thought processes, tricks, and tweets) on March 10, 2017 and conjoined its SP Saturn-North-Node midpoint which provides some interesting potentials including: foreign enterprises offer assistance; a country in inner turmoil (Munkasey), both of which sound correct to me, if not to you, dearest of readers!

Disturbingly, the Solar Eclipse Saros Series under which Fiscal Year 2019 falls is the 2 New North which perfects on August 11, 2018 @19Leo, a sensitized degree. This is what I've previously termed The Tower Eclipse for its themes of 'collapse of an existing structure, plans, lifestyles; after the dust settles, rebuilding begins' (Brady's Predictive Astrology).

In addition, Trump's natal Pluto in 12th house of Back Room Deals, Politics, Large Institutions, Self-Undoing, and Karma, is unaspected in his chart, a condition Bil Tierney calls "one-pointed" and "overshadowed by shadows". Doing business with domestic and global criminal underworld figures can do such overshadowing. However, Trump's primal Pluto is apex planet of a difficult midpoint picture--here's an interpretation of this picture's potentials written by Michael Munkasey for it is part of Trump's psyche:

Social Program Cuts? Republicans Can't Shoot Butter

Republicans to Slash Needed Domestic Programs to Fund More War and Conquest

Since Mr. Trump and the Republicans have their knives out intending to gut social programs for the weak, ill, and aging among us while massive tax cuts are put in place for the wealthy class, a review of the History of Medicare and Medicaid seems timely. And as you know, in 1972 (under Nixon) an expansion of the social safety net was enacted to include coverage for the disabled, end-stage renal disease patients needing dialysis or a kidney transplant, and citizens age 65 and older.

But waging perpetual war for the sake of Empire is a very costly endeavor and it isn't as if the disabled, ill, and aging can or would enlist in the military, right? So did the GOP finally accept Trump as their 'outsider' president because they knew that an unprincipled man would agree to cut whatever programs they targeted? And that, after spouting campaign rhetoric that he would not cut the very programs now under the GOP knife! Not that I believed him, of course. Did you?

Always the Tiresome Trade-Off: Guns vs Butter

Yes, with dreamy Neptune rising in his natal chart, Speaker Paul Ryan is quite a big dreamer. But do the current GOP austerity measures against the American people put you in mind of Republican President Eisenhower's famous Chance for Peace speech of 1953? Here's an excerpt:

"Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket fired signifies, in the final sense, a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, those who are cold and are not clothed. This world in arms is not spending money alone. It is spending the sweat of its laborers, the genius of its scientists, the hopes of its children." Theft. He said theft. To give the wealthy more tax cuts while harming little children.

Now Eisenhower's words contain way too vast a concept for a subjective man like Mr. Trump to grasp although certainly some Republican congress members have the mental and emotional capacity to understand that such theft from We the People will result in millions of Americans ill and starving on the streets and infecting everyone else. Plus, the US economy will suffer from the additional financial burden placed upon our families. (No, churches cannot do it all). But that's where lack of conscience and principles come in--when politicians plainly show that no, they are not their brother's keepers.

Now I don't mean that the US isn't worse off economically than we've been led to believe these last decades and my suspicion is that this is very much the case. 'White collar' theft abounds, as you know, and as noted, waging global war and acting as World Cop takes a whole lot of filthy lucre.

However, the austerity path of heartlessness the GOP demands for America is not the only path to take. Even if it's the global bankers' * 'big picture commands a certain course of action, little option to do otherwise' offer-they-can't-refuse situation that our compromised, bribed, and threatened 'representatives' on Capitol Hill are following because the 'otherwise' involves too much risk for their own hides to take. Apparently the extra added 'benefit' of population control (a la Ayn Rand) seems to suit the Republicans (and their enablers) just fine--as long as they and their loved ones remain unaffected. (They hope!)

Well, thanks for letting me vent. The current news on Medicaid and other financial cuts enrages me on behalf of the common good and for the sake of my native country (which I'm very partial to!) I must vehemently dissent against the Republican austerity agenda and sorry-a**ed war economy which are suggested by the cruelty and hardship potentials of year 2020.

Feb 3, 2017: you'll remember that Mr. Trump and other of his minions threatened the ruination of the Dodd-Frank legislation and its protections for the American people and the US economy during his campaign and since, and today he's been chipping away at, and will ultimately destroy, its provisions. That seems reckless and irrational because, since having Dodd-Frank in place, the US economy has chugged along under an Obama administration the last eight years while the dandies on Wall Street have been doing just dandy fine. The DOW even broke through the 20,000-point barrier recently and still Mr. Trump is determined to use a sledge hammer where some patching up would do:

But you know those reactionary Republicans--they're attempting the same overkill with Obamacare (the ACA) when it only needs some major patching up in order to be improved--without causing too much strife for those who need its coverage. To this particular Child of the Revolution it seems that the Trumpians are trying their best to send an enraged We the People into the streets with pitchforks raised so the thugs can try out their nifty military style police and other brutal forces against us (not recommended).

The following post is a Stars Over Washington republish from October 2008. I had totally forgotten I'd ever written it but, thanks to today's Brexit vote and its possibility of adversely affecting global markets and economies, I find myself in the mood to re-post it for you now.

So whether you agree or disagree, here it is:

Well, it's true that the phrase "spread the wealth" never goes over well with the richest class, and I can think of no better reason than this: if spreading or sharing actually occurred, half a million or so of their dollars might be used to feed the hungry, bind the wounds of the ill and dying, and comfort an orphan or a foster child or two.

Why, a factory might be built and a few jobs created - and after the corporate elite worked so hard to ship our jobs overseas, too!

So apparently, if there's one thing a rich man can't stand, it's being his brother's keeper by giving back a little of the largess he receives through the laws of this great nation and from the sweat of the common worker's brow.

Never mind that a rich man has money and legal reps to avoid paying taxes which he rightly should have been paying all along. Plus, they didn't invent offshore or Swiss bank accounts for nuthin'!

As you know, it was King Midas who turned everything he touched into gold which became a major problem to him because gold isn't everything and people turned into golden statues make poor companions.

Now, lest a rich man think this gnat of a blogger covets his gold, let him rest at ease, for temporary values don't trump (Trump!) eternal values with me - for it's easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God, says Scripture.

And you know that rich men probably think they have that circumvented just as they do with creative accounting tricks, triple sets of books, laws skewed on their behalf against the individual, world banks in cahoots, and Wall Street schemes galore.

But one day when All accounts are settled, we'll have to see about that. We'll all just have to see, won't we?

June 23, 2016: Funny that I must have been thinking of Donald 'King Midas' Trump and his love of gold when I published the above post in 2008--probably because he's threatened to run for president multiple times in the past. Well, this week my wonderment at his campaign rhetoric involves his assertion that he's "made a fortune off debt" (or words to that effect) and I can't figure out exactly who was harmed while he was making his fortune (contractors he refused to pay, for one.)

And yet I'm sure you've heard that, besides having a 'golden touch', Mr. Trump is Really, Really Proud to Be the 'King of Debt'! But before anyone (s)elects him to be US president, I'd like them to explain how his indebtedness to a certain German bank could compromise a Trump presidency because his indebtedness creates a vast Conflict of Interest that no other presidential candidate has ever had!

March 8, 2016: glad that Thom Hartmann is talking about what Joe Scarborough said about the trouble with the Republican Party though I'd like to tell Mr. Scarborough that this isn't all:

At 12 Sag (which is often used as the US natal Ascendant (our rebel nation), the Sabian Symbol for the 1999 Pluto-Chiron conjunction is: "ADJUSTMENT" "A Flag That Turns into an Eagle That Crows" which could refer to any of the 2016 candidates, agreed? In political realms, the symbol sounds the most like crowing Cruz or bellowing Trump to me, but you must decide for yourself. The karmic degree just before is 11 Sag: "The Lamp of Physical Enlightenment at the Left Temple" with the keyword, RECONCILIATION." (The Sabian Symbols in Astrology, Marc Edmund Jones.) Wouldn't that be good? And yet...

The Pluto-Chiron cycle lasts about 60 years from conjunction to conjunction and has to do with transformation of mass consciousness and the deepest levels of reality. (Nolle). Among other things, the September 1, 2016 Solar Eclipse resonates with Pluto-Chiron concepts and suggests conditions of the 1930s within the Collective Unconscious (to those who have eyes to read, ears to hear). America's Inauguration Ascendant (the Oath of Office, the Presidency) at '14 Taurus' (noon, January 20, Capitol Building Washington DC) rises with difficult star Menkar, of the Cetus the Whale constellation, and relates closely to the president as mouthpiece, saying what must be said. As you know, it was Teddy Roosevelt who turned the White House soapbox into a "bully pulpit" though the adjective "bully" might obviously refer to Taurus the Bull, and is not necessarily a synonym for 'great, handy, efficient,' or, 'groovy' pulpit from which to preach. Anyway, the exploits of Jonah in the whale's belly for three days are indicated even though it was FDR who changed our Inaugurations from early March (Cancer rising, 1933) to January 20th in 1937 with Taurus rising. The 1930s again.

Ancient ones among us remember that George H. W. Bush, in his quest for more power, called trickle down policies 'Vood Doo Economics' which tells you the level of realism involved. And with the September 2016 Solar Eclipse themes of 'realism, coming down to earth, seeing old situations for what they really are, not what you thought they were' (Brady's Predictive Astrology), we can only note that candidates Bernie Sanders and possibly Donald Trump are the only ones who come close to filling that bill in Campaign 2016. The congressional record of Bernie Sanders can be and has been fact-checked while Mr. Trump's business and tax records are more elusive to public scrutiny, his resume inconclusive. Mob ties may be in the wings.

There are other candidates to be wary of for the simple fact that (according to my mother), we should, "Never trust a man who says, Trust Me." Great advice. Because you can't.

Democrats please don't stay home on November 8, 2016.
