This Saturday's Spring Equinox 2010 has a Sun Aries/Moon Taurus blend which you may wish to consider. Plus, the article points you back here to a Stars Over Washington post containing an image of the horoscope of the precise moment the Sun 'reaches' 00Aries00, the Aries Point, in Washington DC, on March 20, 2010.
As you know, the AP is one of the four Cardinal points of the zodiac and all are places where important events tend to manifest. (Ex: the June 2001 Solar Eclipse @ 00Cancer presaged the attacks of 9/11/01.) So you may wish to go directly to the chart image of Spring Equinox 2010 where you'll spy T-squares with Pluto as apex (focal) planet. In the chart Mercury and Sun are 'stand-ins' for Uranus which soon will reach the AP, thereby giving the world this difficult midpoint picture:
Saturn/Uranus = Pluto: tremendous fear of loss; upheaval to protect assets; rebellion.
But as for Spring EQ 2010, there are three rather nasty midpoint pics formed which point directly to secret manipulator and underworld god, Pluto, as catalyst:
Sun/Saturn = Pluto: threat of loss in relationships or health; pressure to change one's entire value system; overwhelming rigidity and inflexibility; a very disciplined person who wants and attracts power; the will to retaliate against others for slights; elimination of pessimism and despair (a good one! jc);
Mercury/Saturn = Pluto: serious incidents provoke questioning of official communications; compulsion to assure that info is correct; serious communication breakdowns end business associations; feeling wiped out and resourceless; contemplating loss; grappling with special problems; brooding over one's destiny which is determined by one's plans.
Saturn/MC = Pluto: a fateful, grand struggle or a struggle ordained by destiny; attaining success only under great difficulty; great demands; fear of loss; a need to be in control at all times (Pluto! jc); great changes in life's conditions; added willpower to accomplish goals; a strong repression of your work or abilities by others. (Tyl; Ebertin; Munkasey; any, all, or none may apply but let's hope not.)
Whew! Reading these pictures in a clump makes me want to rush and counter them by reading the helpful articles available this weekend during Astrology Day Blogathon 2010, but it doesn't go Live until Friday, March 19! (March 19 - 21, 2010.)
Yet at this very moment, you may go ahead and pre-view the Blogathon's Cosmic Art Gallery with one simple click. Plus, keep it handy for you'll find links there to the Blogathon's main articles concerning how to cope with Saturn, Uranus, and Pluto as their energies square off against one another and make this decidedly not the easiest Spring season the world has ever seen.

Some of your recent posts certainly made me think---- A giant corporation overextends itself in a successful hostile take over and applies to the government for a bail out. The government obliges and then raises taxes on everybody else to pay for the bailout. Of course I refer to that time when Pluto last entered Capricorn, 1762-63 through 1778, and the East India Company ( which went broke because of the expense associated with defeating the French in India in the Seven Years (aka French & Indian) War. A crisis in public finance always follows Pluto in Capricorn.
Agreed and well-said! Are you an astrologer? Astrologers have been expecting such things for years once they (we) looked ahead and saw Pluto entering Capricorn and breaking down structures all over the place.
Some say the earlier years/degrees for Plu/Cap are the worst of it but we'll see. And of course the US has a Pluto Return all through 2022 (Feb 20, July 11, Dec 28) so there are no historical markers to look for since it's the first Return in our nation's history - assuming there's an America in existence by then (only 10 years!)
Thanks for commenting, i very much appreciate your historic input!
