*UPDATE Monday: US Diplomat found Dead in Rural Cyprus with Mars, ruler of sharp instruments in Taurus which rules the throat...supposedly Lt. Col. Mooney cut his own throat. Wonder what the statistics are on that form of suicide?

Looking at Adriano Carelli's The 360 Degrees of the Zodiac, "2 Taurus" seems to apply all too well:

"A man dying on the ground. Clouds hide the sun." (He was last seen midday on Thursday, June 28, the day Rx Mercury was conj the Sun, and Venus was nearing Saturn with both opposing Neptune...

Venus/Saturn = Neptune: pretense in relationships; wrong ideas about relationships; thinking the grass is greener elsewhere; dreaminess deceives.

Excerpts from Carelli's "2Taurus"...a degree of impotence; karmic condition: murder in the past; the present repels and human society holds no attraction; dissappointments are self-created from a wrong attitude of estrangement from life.

Life must be loved if she is to present us with her gifts; these are not to be frowned upon in comparison with the unattainable daydreams, toyed with by the cloud-dweller apt to slump defeated to the ground if they cannot reach their aim;

"Ground" = Saturn, "cloud-dweller" and "clouds" = Neptune; "murder in the past"? This spin is given relating to past-life stuff which I do not use being Saturnian.

Heredity and DNA, now there's the past coming forward--for we are each the flowering of our generations, are we not?

Well, the articles I'm finding about this sad case are few and sparse between so it's not for sure that the above degree symbols mean anything pertinent--but I must admit that Mars' "2Tau" picure is highly descriptive of the mysterious end of Lt. Col. Thomas Mooney, US 'military attache' for the US government--with transit Jupiter now conjunct America's natal ASCENDANT and meeting with an excellent timer, the Moon.

And tr SN (the past) is conjunct the n Mars of George Bush, btw.


Since the Sagittarian Moon was in process of meeting with Jupiter (the general), was there a woman--perhaps a foreign woman (Sag--Moon) around? Or a Middle Easterner (crescent moon symbol)? Their degree of conjunction: 12Sag12, and Carelli gives no word picture but this for "12Sag" which is also the US ASC in the Sibly chart--he says:
