Chaos in Hong Kong as Pluto conjoins China's Jupiter

A two-minute Bloomberg video Why Did Hong Kong Erupt in Chaos? explains the massive peaceful protests in the streets of Hong Kong concerning a new law allowing extradition to Mainland China and the people of Hong Kong are not amused.

Astrologically, the eruption of the masses (crowds made larger by Jupiter's involvement) relates to the fact that the January 12, 2020 Conjunction of heavyweight planets Saturn and Pluto @22Cap46 will perfect upon China's Jupiter (@22Cap21 on September 21, 1949 2nd house, and 22Cap35 on October 1, 1949 in 12th house--both Communist charts found in Campion's The Book of World Horoscopes charts 60 and 61). Both karmic planets of control are now well within orb of China's Jupiter in Saturn-ruled Capricorn, sign of government, law, and business.

However, more to the point of the current chaos and protests in Hong Kong, today transit Pluto @22Cap32 conjoins China's Jupiter 1949 denoting a period when greater power and influence are sought in the realms of economic expansion and politics, yet exaggerating their importance tends to backfire. Reformist activities (ex: new laws) demand total honesty, and intolerance and fanaticism are distinct possibilities during this karmic time. And transit Saturn to China's Jupiter indicates a time of give-back and/or when a slower return for efforts may be expected. Obviously, Saturnian restrictions may affect Jupiterian freedoms.

Finally, let's add potentials of the midpoint picture formed by Saturn-Pluto = Jupiter: 'trouble with authority; adoption of the austere; staying out of trouble; trying to save what's left' (Solar Arcs, Noel Tyl); and, 'social fanaticism' (The Combination of Stellar Influences, Reinhold Ebertin).

Naturally as a common-gooder, I send my best hopes for favorable outcomes to and for the good people of Hong Kong. May all stay safe.

Dane Rudhyar gives "27Sco" as: "A Military Band Marches Noisily On Through City Streets"...Keynote: The aggressive glorification of cultural values. Keyword: POMP.

This could refer, of course, to aggressions overseas which Washington is dealing with (Russia, Georgia, South Ossetia, Kabul, Baghdad, Tehran, for George and Dick have an endless list - belligerence attracts belligerence), and/or martial actions in US streets, and/or to US military issues that continue to need attention such as the G.I. Bill, vets' healthcare, and more.

WordPress' column of Pages makes updating easier so that's where the chart is now with a smidgen of details, although if you click to enlarge the image, hopefully you can make out my notes which are perhaps too liberally sprinkled round the chart - my bad habit.

On a similar level, you'll notice feisty George Bush's natal Mars at Midheaven, the Goal/Aspiration Point of the chart, which places Bush's activities 'out there' for all the world to see...or perhaps his frustrations since his Mars is in Virgo.

On Monday, US District Judge Colleen Kollar-Kotelly ruled that the Bush White House's "missing"-deleted emails (our nation's emails) are not subject to the Freedom of Information Act.

Guess Bush likes some 'freedom' but not the kind that shows what he really is and what he's been doing behind our backs.

Diana and Dodi: suspicions allayed?

In honor of today's London inquest whose verdict is meant to finally alay rumors and suspicions that the royal family had a hand in the assassination plot against the Western princess and the Mideastern paramour, I have published the chart of the time of their fatal crash in Paris.

Romance and socializing are all over the chart but other things show as well.

And with Lord Justice Scott Baker's instruction to the inquest jury that there was no evidence to support claims that the couple were victims of a plot by Prince Philip and others, and that it was carried out by Brit secret agents--I'm not sure how laid-to-rest these suspicions can possibly be.

Brit secret agents are not necessarily at the top of my list for culpability, and others have benefited mightily from Princess Diana's death--no more high-profile campaigns against minefield sweeps for instance. Diana had an ability to sway the masses--an ability shared somewhat with others such as MLK, JFK...you know it.

Some say Diana knew too much and had threatened to spill the royal beans which gives me one of those Duh Moments we all have from time to time. That Dodi's Egyptian heritage was involved in their deaths is a distinct possibility when you consider how things have gone on since 1997. Uranus is conjunct the Medina degree in the chart, as you will see.

the Fed's Moon Return: March 24 2008

The Federal Reserve Bank became law Dec 23, 1913 so I use this date (sunrise and/or Sun to Midheaven) as natal chart/s for this entity.

Today, March 24, 2008, the Fed is having its Lunar (Moon) Return whether you use the sunrise or Sun/Mc chart. The first has Moon 8Sco19 ("Dental work"), the second chart has Moon 11Sco03 ("An embassy ball") and there are good reasons for using either chart.

With the sunrise position of the Moon 8Sco19, the Lunar Return occurred today at 2:37 pm edt (Manhattan, NYC); the Moon returns to 11Sco03 this evening at 8:03 pm edt.

Here you see an image of the sunrise Natal chart, Dec 23, 1913, with some of the Moon Return planets written on the outside and highlighted in green.

The first thing we notice is that transiting Pluto, the dragon guarding the treasure, is conj natal Sun (and thus, the ASC in the sunrise chart.)

Sun/Pluto = ASC: crisis of self-preservation; power games with important consequences; striving for power and control.

With Pluto being opposite natal Pluto, this is a period of one great power locked in a no-compromise struggle with another great power. In my estimation, that would be East vs West, one of the reasons I don't believe that what's going on in world markets is only from subprime housing loans, although that's certainly part of it...perhaps it's the vehicle.

In fact, it puts me in mind of PROMIS software and its modern progeny which has been used against Eastern accounts in recent years. Yet if you 'follow the money' it's busy wafting its way to the East, isn't it?

Well, the Fed has a Jupiter ($) Return coming soon in the first week of December, and if you click to enlarge the image, you'll see that the Fed's natal Mars/Saturn midpoint--a difficult point of hardship, ups'n'downs, and stalemate in any chart--is conj DESC so it's under double stress now with natal Pluto there AND transiting Pluto triggering the natal potential as well. Eek!

Mars/Saturn = Pluto: the need to take control; forcing an issue; strong anger; the fury of destruction.

Seems the above Sun/Pluto indications tell the tale and destruction is the name of the game. Of course, baiting the US--and Bush's oil friends in particular--with the attacks of 9/11 was a good way to undermine US resources militarily, financially, and morally...and it seems to be working.

Yet the culpability of the US government and others is not to be dismissed, of course, esp if NWO plans are as advertised and a war between Moslems and Jews is in the offing by their (NWO) design so that the one world government may be ushered in.

In the Fed's Moon Return chart tr Uranus conjuncts natal North Node (18-19 Pis), a time when unusual contacts and associations are made. The Uranus/NN duo = "radical political groups" so there's that flavor too.

And with Uranus squaring n Venus (money; values; relationships) there's an unstable atmosphere when joint ventures develop unanticipated problems and others block diplomatic maneuvers. Unorthodox alliances may be formed when uranus squares n Venus.

You'll notice that the 18Vir degree of the Sept 11, 2007 Solar Eclipse is conj the Fed's natal South Node, indicating a triggering of old issues from the past (follow the link for more Eclipse details affecting the Fed's SN.)

This Eclipse Series (9 New South) began July 19, 1917 at 26Can+....opposite US n Pluto.


And then there's the soon-to-come Solar Eclipse in the 10 South Series, Aug 1, 2008, which is the Pre-Natal Series of the New York Stock Exchange (May 17, 1792.)

Mar 7, 2008 transits to Arab Oil Embargo chart 1973

The excellent Information Clearing House has an interview by Amy Goodman with Stephen Kinzer author of All the Shah's Men: An American Coup and the Roots of Middle East Terror which gives a basic view of how the US and UK sparked our present troubles by their greed, perfidy, and the Bondian exploits of Teddy R's relative, suave spy Kermit Roosevelt, who facilitated the overthrow of Iran's democratically elected government which resulted in the re-installation of the Shah--bwo the CIA.

We can also thank the Eisenhower administration for the overthrow and its 'unintended consequences' which turns out to be something at which the US government excels. Lots of practice, and 1953 was no exception. Read the article, if you haven't, for it explains a lot of the UK and US machinations,shall we call them. It's the oil, stupid.

And I would add, and the money that can be made from the oil.

Inspired by today's $106 barrel oil (the highest ever) here is the chart of the Arab Oil Embargo of 1973 which I took a re-gander at this evening along with the transits for this afternoon, 4:00 pm, NYC.

In the 1973 chart, North Node (associations; connections) is at00Cap58--this afternoon's Pluto? 00Cap58 (no, I didn't realize this until I saw it with my own peepers.)

This places today's tr Mars--out-of-bounds and setting bombs and fires all over the place~1Can08--conj 1973's South Node (of the Moon)--a separative point of karmic repercussions. Mars-SN = violence; war. And I might add, disenfranchised men between the ages of appr 25--35...some of them with red hair.

If we look at the possible word pictures of these three players, Mars, Pluto, NN, we get:

Mars-Pluto = NN: working with others to change the world; joint performance of record achievements; spurring others on; setting an example for others to achieve.

Mars-NN = Pluto: others must 'get on the train' or get left behind; a violent or enforced separation in a partnership.

Pluto-NN = Mars: exhibition of personal power; tyranny; demonstrating violence or brutality in the presence of others; desire to make others amenable to one's wishes; the misfortune to be placed under someone's else's power and control. (Tyl; Ebertin.)

Another clump of planets can be done the same way--1973's close conjunction of Moon 4Can42 and Saturn 4Can45, with 2008's tr Mars 1Can08, so we see:

Moon-Saturn = Mars: lack of determination; desire to overcome difficulties; soul-conflicts; the sense of real problems; difficulty getting off the ground except by very careful, strategically planned exertion of energy.

Moon-Mars = Saturn: caught in the middle of the road; frustration; quarreling; dissatisfaction or an unsatisfied desire; suppression.

Mars-Saturn = Moon: weak will; moodiness; depression; feelings about losing something.

Well, phooey--this post is being overtaken by a massive thunderstorm system rolling in now...so in case I don't get to complete this post before tomorrow, the above linked article makes it plain that a US strike on Iran would result, among other things, in Iran's being able to shut the Strait of Hormuz by sinking a couple of oil tankers which would effectively close the tap on 20% of the world's oil supply.

And the Pre-natal Eclipse Series of the Oil Embargo of 1973 is 11 South...Brady gives this Series as:

old ideas and methods fail; new systems are required to deal with events; blocks may be violently or tragically removed.

So if we hobble toward 2009 without allowing Cheney-Bush their daft and cruel strike on Iran then we've got trouble comin'...this Eclipse repeats on July 22, 2009, "30Can": "A daughter of the American Revolution."

A big Shout-Out of Thanks goes to Jilly for the link--she says that Barack Obama's donors are no surprise. Agreed, and it's also no surprise at how many funders remain the same. Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, all the usual suspects are there, buying Washington to use against the common good.

Still, if campaigns were publicly funded by taxpayers can we trust these political varmints to do right? (That'd be a disbelieving puh! from me.)

Shuttle Atlantis launches 2.7.08 2:45 pm est

After 2 months of delay, the shuttle Atlantis has been launched today from Cape Canaveral, FL at 2:45 pm est as scheduled.

With deception and espionage smeared all over the chart of this long-awaited mission--ostensibly to take Europe's science lab, Columbus, to join the Internatioanl Space Station (a surveillance command satellite if there ever was one) today's launch may be considered a jolly accomplishment by some, another link in the spying chain to others.

Asteroid Icarus 5AQ54 is conj US natal South Node which is at "Medina" degree and if you're a consiracy theorist as myself, you'll recognize the degree as Islam's Neptune Return on 9/11/01. This was Neptune's position when Mohammed entered Medina, thus the name of the 6-7 AQ degree area. Icarus has unfortunate connections with assassination but let's not go there.

With Mercury (air flight) being Rx and conj Chiron 16AQ00, there may be disrupted communications at the least, and I hope that's their only trouble, difficult as that would be for such a flight...launched within hours after a Solar Eclipse.

Suffice it to say, there is much Neptunian action in this chart...secretive Neptune of subterfuge and veils, plus, there's Pluto of the invisible helmet--spying and sabotage are his specialities. Pluto is still on the World Point of 00Cap22.

Neptune 21AQ26 is conj three midpoints which give these pictures (Tyl; Ebertin):

Sun/Moon = Neptune: deceptions; illusions; the undermining of associations.

Moon/Mercury = Neptune: falsehood; exposure to lies and calumny; wrong notions and whims.

Mercury/NN = Neptune: an interrupted contact; confusion about how to fit into the group.

Now I don't wish difficulty upon such projects (overly ambitious as they may be) yet I admit to not believing that they're only what they are purported to be. Honorable science experiments? Pshaw.

Now there is one lovely midpoint pic which may indicate a safe mission--

Jupiter/Mc = Mercury: large scale projects and ventures; a wealth of thoughts; far reaching thoughts; successful plans. (A direct Mercury would be more helpful here.)

At 2:45 pm est, asteroid Pallas (keyword: strategy) crossed the top of the chart, the Midheaven (Mc)--the Goal/Aspiration Point of the launch. Opposite at the Ic at that moment (Ic = the Foundation or Basis of the matter) lurks America's natal Neptune. Idealistic Neptune more often brings dissolution, confusion, insecurity--and veiling.

Asteroid Atlantis is at a critical 29th degree: 29Libra31 in 5th house of risk-taking. Well, space travel of any sort is just that, isn't it?

Uranus 16Pis59 is connected to space travel, science, and technology, and has just crossed Mc near Fixed Star, Ahernar, "risk of rapid endings" yet Achernar may also bring success. We've recently seen Uranus' disruptive ability with internet cables cut under the sea (Pisces) and I'd been wondering for some time where that would occur...more of that disruption may be forthcoming.

At 2:45 pm, 5Can54 is rising along with US natal Jupiter at the "6Can" degree--"Gamebirds feathering their nests."

Wish my intuition said otherwise, but the International Space Station is overhead to pluck out the feathers of the masses for lining those royal nests--and for reporting back to our Orwellian controllers with state-of-the-art spy technology.

Chart-ruler Moon 26AQ38 makes an applying conj to tr North Node--today is the US' Moon Return--with tr NN about to conjunct natal Moon. There will probably be quite a bit of publicity about this mission...but not in a negative way, I hope.

Today's Ceres ("security" in a national chart) is at 14Tau34, the degree of the Inaugural ASC each Jan 20, DC, noon = the office of the president.

The next and only other applying aspect made by today's launch Moon is a helpful and enabling sextile to...sneaky Pluto. See what I mean?

war, peace, and moral crisis

Blogging time is limited this morning but two quotes were received from Information Clearing House which well describe our current days because, in spite of what Washington may say or do, morality never really goes out of style and worshiping the god of war is always a horrendous idea:

These forums were a little closer to being actual debates than we've seen in years which was...refreshing. Some actual testiness showed through, and the pile-ups on Romney by the Rs, and on Clinton by John Edwards and Barack Obama were predictable fodder for the Sunday morning pundits. Once again, Tim Russert and his tv colleagues managed to avoid any real discussion of issues in any meaningful way.

Change is as change does, says Hillary (I paraphrase liberally--accent on does.)

But she can't hide from the fact that she's been part of the establishment for several years now, female though she is. A woman president would be a major change--but not if it's imperialism and corporatism as usual.
