But who will take America's place?

Der Spiegel has an article by Wolfgang Nowak which is either a clear-eyed assessment of the coming new order, financial and otherwise, or a fascinating bit of propaganda designed to place certain ideas into the collective unconsciousness for future activation when the time is right.

(There's been a lot of that going on already, and the February 2009 Digital TV 'Divide' will make their messages even more subliminal.)

The article contains a photograph of an American flag with the caption: 'Who will take America's place?' which is where I snagged the gist of a title for this post.

Who will be the decisive powers in this new world order?, Nowak asks.

What new world order?, ask I.

Among other things, Nowak is promoting the idea that the world must pull together (my words) to solve global problems...problems which were, I might add, created by many of the same people and groups that have worked in a long process to tear down social fabrics the world over and create the chaos they think is needed so that structures can be rebuilt to their liking.

You and I are only collateral damage.

Nowak's article cites journalist Charles Krauthammer as speaking of "the dawning of a new era, (in) which for decades to come, the United States would serve as epicenter of the world order."

And this pronouncement from Krauthammer-on-high (aka the Trilateral Commission membership list, a group which has been cornering the market on gold of late, says Patrick Wood at The August Review) was uttered "just 17 years ago" - which puts it at 1991, the era of Bush Senior's public calling for the New World Order - at the United Nations.

Well, Nowak is spokesman of the executive board of the Alfred Herrhausen Society, the international forum of Deutsche Bank, so we may be assured that he has no corporate fish to fry, right?

But perhaps I'm being too harsh. Sure, that's it. It's little gnattish blogger, me. I'm the problem.

So okay. You may wish to check out the Society's new Foresight project
ostensibly created to "analyze and compare the future visions of emerging and existing world powers" in this 'multipolar world' now bereft of American leadership.

And we have US neocons and their enablers both here and abroad to thank for that.

Well thank you-I guess. The lay-out of that site is scarey-reminded me of the lay-outs drug companies use to describe their business and what they do and want to do if only they can get their hands on some more big money.
Seems to me that I am encountering NWO folks from "all walks of life". Yesterday on Guns and Butter on KPFA there was a visitor from Europe describing what we need to do to unify as the old order dissolves. After listening for part of the show I had to turn away-I was overwhelmed by a hunch/an image/a knowing that this well spoken guy was representing those who "plan to take over the world: ( I find myself referring to Pinkie and the Brain a lot these days).
for myself and my family I plan to plant more food next year. food from known sources, food that is not gene enhanced, the so called heirloom seeds.
Seems to me that there is evil afoot and I don't know if this organized or just my active imagination expressing my responce to something very ugly

Thanks for commenting, clymela.

Yes, they've been putting NWO thoughts in our noggins for decades...did yo uhappen to see my post on Aldous Huxley's interview in 1958 with Mike Wallace?

It's at jude's threshold and has a link to the video of the TV interview (in 3 parts - about 26 minutes' worth.)

'Brave New World' indeed, eh? Huxley covers much of what we've now become used to - subliminally when it isn't their constant haranguing and fearmongering. jude

I just listened to 'Understanding the Next Phase of the Global Systemic Crisis' with Director of Research for the GlobalEurope Anticipation Bulletin Franck Biancheri, on KPFA Radio - Bonnie Faulkner's Guns & Butter, Dec. 12.

Bottom line: We have until the summer of 2009 to cash in our pensions plans, IRAs, 401ks as the government will be forced to take them over as unemployment will escalate dramatically, the dollar's value will be halved (before becoming the "new" dollar), the Stock Market will bottom, global debts in dollars will be worthless,
a new global bank and a basket of currencies will be the benchmark for $$$ per gallon of oil, etc.

The claims made include: America will no longer be the land of plenty, we will be punished for our money solutions to all problems, democracy will have to turn into something different to care for the millions with no home, food, health care, pensions, income, jobs, and that 20 percent of those Obama has chosen to fix the financial problems will have to be relieved of duty and replaced with new thinkers, by the third quarter of 2009, because by the end of 2009 the US we know will be no more.

The recession, on top of all this will continue for at least 2 to 4 more years, but the dollar, which has been pumped up a little due to bank bailouts, will go on its downward spiral in the summer of 2009 - watch for the stock market bottoming for the beginning of the dollars permanent slide to 50 percent of its current worth.

So any suggestions on where to rollover savings and investments and when?

Sad to say, the time frame sounds about right, Donna. Guns and Butter is such a good program, but seldom heard around these parts - sometimes as a special.

Oh Donna, my Jupiter-Saturn trine says differently, but i'm the last person to give investment advice. If I had financial training, I'd like to 'do' Financial Astrology, but it's a bit late for that now (for me.)

However, I did hear advice on NPR last week that online banks have better interest rates on Savings Accounts than anything else right now incl. Treasury bonds. I'm not trusting enough to bank online persoanlly, but perhaps you already do.

If you missed the gold buy-up and can't nab some silver, I don't have any other suggestions - only wish I did! jc
