Security high for Inauguration 2009

Not sure if this qualifies as a code magenta or puce, but Inauguration Security Enlists Snipers as four million people are expected in D.C. for the Jan 20, 2009 Inauguration of Barack Obama.

Even this blogging gnat in faraway Georgia knows an entire family driving up to Washington for the event and fortunately for them, a family member lives nearby so accomodations are no problem (good thing!)

And what a crush it would be if a sharpshooter had to pop someone, wouldn't it?

Think I'll soon be taking another gander at the Inauguration 2009 chart with closer attention to safety concerns now that the Oath's festivities are drawing near and snipers are mapping out their best locations.

Here's the 2009 Inauguration chart with midpoint pictures in English (and a few are troubling but midpoint pics are all-none-or-some possibilities, not certainties), and other comments - but remember I wrote it months ago when it was difficult to believe that Bush and Cheney would ever be pried from the White House!

Blogger Concerns:

Here's a heads-up to the 3 or 4 readers of this blog who kindly leave me comments: I love comments! But Blogger's comments moderation set-up doesn't tell me which posts comments are left for as I okay them, so if I don't reply to you it's probably because I'm having to search for your remarks after I publish them.

Comments on recent posts are easy to discover. But if you comment on an older post, I may never figure it out.

So if you think of it when commenting, it would expedite matters if you mention the post's title or subject in your remarks to ID its location! It's just crazy, I know, but there it is. My duh, no doubt.

Thanks a bunch, Jude

Re: your notes on the Inauguration Chart, noon January 20, 2009:

Thanks again for your hardwork in delineating this chart including the notes on the fixed stars and the midpoint pictures. Interesting to note that we have Arabic culture to thank for the names we use for the stars, for concepts like Cazimi, and indeed for our entire system of numbers and math (arabic numbers).

Because frankly, in reading the news, it seems like everything "Arabic" is demonized, especially in the last dozen years or so.

Regardless of what may or may not happen regarding the structure of our 'government,' its interesting to think of the mystical aspects behind "who governs."

EG, the Chinese refer to the "Mandate of Heaven," as the legitimization of rule, we talk about "Inauguration" (which comes from the Latin for "divination by the flight of birds.")

For me it is hard to get past what I read in everyday sources of information (eg, newspapers and wire services)......so the concepts you mention of "truckling" and "naivete" are what resonate with me......so I have to step back and think of the "Midpoint Pictures" as though I was either viewing "pictures at an exhibition" or perhaps actually listening to Moussorgsky's
"Pictures at an Exhibition."

Anyway, at noon January 20, 2009 the moon is void and Mercury is retrograde so maybe we should forget all about astrology and should just listen to the old Bobby McFerrin hit, "Don't Worry, Be Happy."

Thanks! You're mighty mysterious, but in reply:

American culture wasn't around centuries ago when astrological principles were discovered as planets and stars were observed and celestial knowledge of cycles was systemized for use, so it's little wonder we 'must' use older systems!

Stars are stars no matter who's doing the observing, si? What gets me is how many westerners think they know So Much when really they know so little!

And yes, i was as happy as anyone about who got selected...how i could have listened to "My Friends" for 4 years was beyond my comprehension. And "you betcha" had already worn thin unless coming from Tina Fey there.

Seems that the silver tongued one will make the medicine go down the peoples' gobs more easily, so yes, I will be happy on Jan 20 - esp if nothing untoward occurs with a 29 degree VOC Moon and snipers positioned all around the people - VOC being a portent that something wasn't intended to work out all along...or that things will proceed without a hitch (as on the morning of 9/11/01 with VOC Moon 28Gem "Bankruptcy.")

But come Jan 20 i shall celebrate all the same - just to have Bush-Cheney evicted from the W-H will be enough for me to celebrate like crazy while hoping for the best for my favorite city by the Potomac, for the future of America, and for our stand-in, Barack Obama. jude

No money usually gets people's attention. So while folks are looking for answers, Jude's Threshold and Stars Over Washington are great places to get the short and long view. Change is in the air, but what kind of change and are we leading or being led? Life - It's sort of like the emergency channel script - This is just a test, if it wasn't you would be told where to go and what to do - or something like that.
Self sufficiency seems to be at
odds with "a change a day and what does it mean."
So the best we can do now is observe, listen, look, think, be open and agree that so far, we don't have all the answers. I really enjoy your astrological tunings on life's chords.
