Astrologers who've read my chart!

Here's my complete list of astrologers who had given me personal chart readings... most have been birth/natal chart consultations, one was for Solar Returns, and one (you know who) was for my Fixed Star Report.

All but two were done by phone with a tape sent along afterward. The Fixed Star Report was by tape only due to distance (Australia), and one was sent by email for the same reason (UK.)

I'm putting them in order of readings with links to their blogs/sites although some are connected with astrology organisations and a few of them write for other sites or have free Astrology Newsletters available as well:

Moses Siregar

Noel Tyl

Alan Oken

Erin Sullivan

Madalyn Hillis-Dineen

Bernadette Brady

Mary Shea

John Frawley

Whew! That's quite a bit of info, isn't it? For me, I mean! All provided detailed, useful information on the bundle of cells that is moi, although I do have a couple of favorites--and I'm wondering if you have had readings from anyone on this list?

These links will take you to blogs/sites where you'll find free newletters to sign up for, informative articles to read, heads-ups to well-written astrology books, and a plethora of links to other pertinent locations of note, NCGR included.

Now that I see the astrologers all in a row, it's quite an illustrious list, isn't it? And because I'm a "9" kinda gal, it seems I need one more reading...suggestions anyone?

That's an impressive list. I'd love to have readings from those people. I'd recommend Ariel Guttman (sp). Also, I'd like to have a reading with Alice McDermott (that might not be her real name) over in Australia and Komilla Sutton, the Vedic astrologer. There, now you've got my wish list. Oh and Philip Sedgwick because my chart has a lot of Black Holes. So does my head, lol.

Jude, I'd love to know your comments about all of these astrologers and the various way they work. Everyone is so different! Thanks for posting this.

Ah yes, I used to get Philip's Newsletter--thanks for reminding me I should sign up for it again.

Black holes, quasars, and pulsars are fascinating!

Ariel Guttman and Alice McDermott are new considerations--hadn't thought of them. Kamilla Sutton is amazing yet the bit that I studied Vedic Astrology told me that I'd need another lifetime to begin using it now! But a reading from Kamilla would be very interesting--perhaps it's my lack of past-life beliefs that caused me to pause.

Thanks, Anonymous!

Lynn, I offered the list to recommend them all and considered adding some details of their methods and my reactions to them. Yet it seemed too subjective when I was listing them but you may be right, so here goes:

For now I can say that Moses--the only one done 'in person' because he once lived here!-was at a disadvantage--I used my mother's suddenly improved memory which was 12 hours off. Needless to say, this 'flipped' my chart! But his manner is very engaging and caring--I really like Moses and am glad to see him doing so well.

Noel, Jungian psychologist that he is, was #2 and I wasn't properly prepared for his expectations--that I would know all the dates of every event he discussed.

But he intro'd me to the quindcile aspect (of which I have two) which explained some very difficult things about my childhood--and I
am eternally grateful to Noel for that. (His famous "35 min '45 min--an hour' reading" is true, at least for my reading!)

Alan Oken informed that I Could Not Combine Art With Astrology, even though I had talent in both. Hmmph! The rest of the reading was more helpful--I was in the middle of 6 yrs' worth of taking care of ill parents and needed all the understanding I could get! Anyone who has had that experience knows what I mean.

The ladies on my list were all excellent and I learned that feminine astrologers were more on my wavelength--good to know! Mary Shea helped me with Solar Returns a lot and she is very caring as well.

Erin Sullivan's knowledge base is astounding--she's perhaps my favorite of the natal readings with a very good manner--just practical enough for this Capricorn, plus her books are excellent. I'd contact Erin in a minute if I needed to.

Ah, but then there's the excellent traditionalist, John Frawley of the UK. His directness suited me since I consider myself a Saturnian astrologer (reluctant practioner though I be) and his use of Fixed Stars was most helpful. John said, "I don't think it's a Book you're to write." Little did I know I be blogging soon! ;p

The tape from Bernadette is one I re-play the most--one reason because star parans deal with all the phases of life. Anyone who hasn't had her Fixed Star Report done should. However, much later after her taped consultation arrived, I had her computer version done from online and it had some differences. The online version was not so glowing but describes some very difficult issues that I have esp healthwise.

She also said the stars are saying I should write and teach (but not in the conventional way) and I listen to her tape whenever I need encouragement with this crazy, time-consuming blogging I attempt to keep up with!

Thanks for asking, Lynn! May I look forward to your own list of astrologers?

Jude
