All the president's address was delivered during an Hour of Saturn; Mercury Rx and Sun, both at 00AQ+, crossed Midheaven while he intoned...12:07:50 pm's Mc 28Cap08 (conj US natal Pluto whose degree had crossed into 9th house as well) and ended 2AQ29, with Jupiter 3AQ32 conj Mc.
Sun and Mercury had, of course, Barack Obama's natal Jupiter in tow...his Jupiter Return 00AQ52 was on Jan 9, 2009. I'm using Aug 4, 1961, 7:24 pm AHST, Honolulu, HI; Asc 18AQ01; natal Mc 28Sco54, with Inaugural Moon 29Sco49 at 12:07 pm...conjunct and exalted at BHO's natal Midheaven.
So! Moon (the people; the public) conj Mc, the Goal/Aspiration Point...shades of: "This is not about me...this is about the American people."

The people's distrust is rampant after eight long years of neocon shills, Bush and Cheney, so you will be the first to be suspected of working against the American people if you block Barack Obama in his initiatives.
Block him, block us. Or at least that will be the first assumption since
Pres. Obama, unlike stubborn George Bush, is capable of trying something else if the first or second things don't work. That trait does not give his detractors license to call him names or play PR games that are politically expedient for a certain globalist, special interest agenda.
If your political power agenda is in sync with the common good, you will not perpetrate this undermining work against the president and the American people.
You are on notice, as far this blogger is concerned.

Astrology Q: did the 29 ~crisis~ degree of the Moon, which relates to the physical body and health, describe Senators Bird and Kennedy and their health crises? Both had to be taken out of the congressional luncheon.
Sen. Kennedy now said to be doing well (3:40 pm est) after suffering a seizure, Sen. Byrd, who was upset about Teddy, was wheeled out - and Scorpio is the sign of health issues such as surgery, etc. Sen. Byrd's *natal Sun was conjuncted today by the Inaugural Moon!

Earlier in the day, Dick Cheney looked like a big faker in his wheelchair, if I say so myself. Like HE'D ever be caught lifting moving boxes with his weak ticker. Puh! Sell me another one!

Big Guffaws about Cheney. You said what everyone was thinking and a few around me were saying.
No one I talked to believed him. Fancy him climbing the Capitol stairs? Nope, so Biden and his wife had to stand around at the bottom of the steps past and present presidents and first ladies stood on.
As for the speech, I think it was serious, but truncated. Like someone wrote one and then someone else worked on it - like a speech by committee and I didn't hear the historic quotable phrase - both small matters considering the issues he had to cover - he may have tied to cover too much, but I, too, believe the world has been put on notice. There will be no funny stuff tolerated as we put our house back in order.
I wondered if his teleprompter was working correctly. But the overall mood seemed totally joyous on and off the podium.
Bush gave him a hug that rang of good luck fella, you're going to need it! The puppet masters are going to make life hell for you.
But all the Pluto-going-into- Capricorn concepts were there. Like he has an astrologer or something.
Era of responsibility. that's us.
Practical, yep. (One for all and all for one, aquarius maybe.) And yes, persistent. If one way doesn't work another will be tried.
Obama has taken the helm, I understand that happens at noon, whether he is sworn in or not, per our 22nd amendment.

I thought the benediction was the best speech of the day.
The poem seemed lame to me compared to Angelou's poem for Bill Clinton.
Aretha didn't rise to the moment, or notes, but wasn't her hat a hoot.
Well, those are my silly comments about a day full of joy and hope, relieved to have Obama at the helm.

Do you think his retaking of the Oath this morning is the chart we can use for this event? When that flub happened, I thought a Mercury retrograde moment. Never thought he would retake the Oath. He MUST have an Astrologer working with him.

Anonymous, it's an interesting chart that bears watching with Mercury still Rx...its degree at the 2nd Oath may bring up pertinent issues when Mercury returns to it...
But BHO became president at noon on Jan 20, 2009 and nothing really changes that...this is the chart I will use for his administration's term.
Reminds me of the silliness of the West using midnight as the 'start' of a 'day' - how absurd! A child knows that a day ends when the Sun sets - duh!!
And I have wondered aloud here or elsewhere if BHO has an astrologer on staff or on call...I suspect so.
He isn't, after all, stupid. And he needs all the help he can get, doesn't he?

On Cheney in your Obama's Inaugual Address 2009 response, I can only hope Cheney will be brought up on criminal charges. I think even Bush was ready to do so. They really dumped on Libby, not that he's an angel either.
I keep trying to keep my eye on the ball and the landscape keeps morphing. I do believe the overall message from the halls of D.C. are "get ready for a really big change."
It makes me want to take all my savings and just pay off my house, or travel, or find a way to use it that will be of real benefit to getting on down the road of life.
Your blog is the only sanity I find in wiggly world.
