Aspartame under any other name

Rather than removing the devilish food additive and fake sweetener from the world's food supply, its maker has renamed aspartame under a new moniker meant to deceive with 'naturalness'!

Aspartame under any other name is still seriously injurious to human health. Please click the link if you wish to read a brief history of the chemical aspartame along with a heads-up on its sneaky name change.

Well, it's our turn in Georgia for a snowstorm today - flakes are headed this way as I type so this may be my last post for a while if our white-out turns into a black-out...hope everyone is keeping safe, warm, and dry!

Thank you for this especially for those who may not yet understand how toxic this stuff is. AND the horrible thing is these sweeteners actually cause people to gain weight. I learned this the hard way following menopause while still working in an office-we all drank "diet" sodas even though I "knew" better. Well I grew fat and am now in retirement relearning what I used to know.
I wonder if this stuff is not involved in the Type 2 diabetes epidemic.

Aspartame causes weight gain but so does corn syrup and its refined version, high fructose corn syrup. Avoid it.

And yes, Clymela, it IS involved in the diabetes epidemic.

Kieron, thanks, i'd fogotten to reply to clymela and to mention high fructise corn syrup, one of the devil's favorite ingredients.

And another, of course, is aspartame. Weight gain and diabetes are only 2 complications they trigger. When we add the chems we get from plastics and aluminum chems in deodorants, it's a wonder anyone is still standing. jc

fructose.

I think that's the grand plan, sad to say.

Oh btw, Ajinomoto (creator of aspartame) also created and marketed monosodium glutamate (MSG) which is a neurotoxin. The Weston A. Price Foundation has a lot to say about MSG as a toxin, not the least that is makes people want to eat more, and thus overeat, gain weight, and so on. It's insane.

Zounds, Kieron. i knew that MSG causes headaches in some people so now i know why - what a guy. jc
