Lame Duck Congress: Sun Sag-Moon Pis 12.13.10

There's an interesting astro-atmosphere on Capitol Hill today, Monday December 13, 2010 with Sun in Sagittarius, sign of The Seeker, and Moon in Pisces, sign of The Mystic.

Luna remains in watery Pisces past midnight so let's consider the traits of the current Sun Sag-Moon Pis blend of energies whether the congressional test vote for the Bush tax cut extension occurs today or not.

First we know that a Fire-Water blend is a steamy concoction capable of cleansing, sterilizing, or scalding. It is ardent, even volatile, with a temperament that can fluctuate wildly; impartiality is not its strong suit and fanaticism may be prominent: theatrics may ensue.

Sun Sag-Moon Pis is fervent, restless, and humanitarian, and indicates a rich imagination, deep convictions, and moralism. It is the blend of the irrational logician who can also be helpful, sympathetic, and generous.

Yes, this is the thinker and dreamer combo describing a sentimental philosopher who wants to understand and broaden horizons yet who may find intellectual principles too cold to bed down with. There's a tendency to be lavish with mundane expenditures for this blend contains within it a mischievous subpersonality of the wastrel.

(Congress has certainly proved to be that - especially if there's a warring misadventure to fund at tax payers' expense so that the power elite can make mega-bucks profiting obscenely off our investments! Perhaps you disagree? The tax cut extension bill on the Hill today will raise taxes only for the poorest Americans which to me seems a craven act of banditry considering that the wealthiest 2% whine to continue their tax windfall with no thought of the deficit when it comes to their pocket lining! One group needs decent food and shelter for their families, the other needs less greed in their hearts, and if 'trickle-down' were going to create jobs, it would have done so these last 10 years.)

Since Sun Sag-Moon Pis sees clearly the folly of other people's ways, giving advice is a favorite past time and usually includes telling one's personal story - it may babble on too long. Does this describe a filibuster? Sen. Bernie Sanders has ended his but we'll see if Friday's performance is picked up by another senator with filibuster on his mind for the Sun-Moon blend on a Monday (or on the first day of the week they gavel into session) colors the entire week of business on Capitol Hill.

All in all, Congress' lame duck session today may need more concentrated efforts, focus, and an awareness of its own tendency toward gullibility. The blend has only one 'Image for Integration: A jolly, shabbily dressed vicar tells raucous jokes to down-and-out children and high society at the Church garden party.' Well! That sounds much like President Obama signing the bill this morning to improve the food program for kids in school! 'No American child should go to school hungry' - total agreement here. Yet one may marvel at the success of forces in recent decades which seek to undermine and destroy the US public school system - wish someone would stop feeding that destructive monster its breakfast! Our failing test results tell the tale of America's lack of preparedness for competition in the power elite's 'new world' of 'free trade'.

Finding Your Path through the false reality (Max Igan videos)

There's much I could say about each of these Max Igan videos in which he covers Finding Your Path, dharma~karma, The Matrix or false reality, Facing the Shadow, Money, Peaceful Resistance, Abundance, the Great Awakening (from the false reality?), and much more on the personal, physical, and cosmic levels of existence.

And since I'm eager for you to check them out (if you haven't), maybe I'll mosey back later on and add my 2 cents' worth. Or not. We're having storms in Georgia.

Note that the following content is of the sort that will reveal new understanding with each listening so don't be surprised if you experience this. All atrocities issue in some way from 'government' - worldly government, and a 'one world government' does not have to be accepted by the global population so please pass this presentation (and others you may know of) around to spread the word, for the crisis approaches. Yet fear is a weapon they wield against us - our pacificism is key to our success. Taking care of one another sends a Scr*w the Global Crime Syndicate message to the conspiring power elite, and I'm all for that.

Bush's first Inaugural luncheon

George W. Bush's first Inaugural luncheon makes for amusing reading especially when you consider this Sun-in-Cancer's fascination with food.

There are photos provided so check it out! Lame Duck L'Orange appears nowhere on the menu, so don't fret. And we can't say his goose is cooked - it's the American people who got a baking from the presidency of Bush43.

109th Congress: lame-duck limping

Here's the picture, the chart for 4:40 am est, Dec 9 as the lame-duck Congress limped to the finish line, after 102 days in session--less than Truman's "Do Nothing Congress" of yore (they logged in at 110 days...I say the 109th should pay back the 8 days' worth of exorbitant pay to our treasury.)

Yet given Republican hubris and their tiresome Bush-rubberstamping, perhaps we should be grateful they had better things to do than to show up and legislate on Capitol Hill this session.


Rising at 4:40 am we see 14Sco49 which is the Descendant of our Presidential Inaugurations (Jan 20, noon), which places Bush the "president" at the setting position in today's chart.

Venus 27Sag42 is conjunct Congress' natal Ascendant, with Pluto just having risen.

First to rise at 4:40 am is Congress' natal Neptune, planet of loss, confusion, deceit, and delusion. It's also associated with the acting profession and it's no secret our "representatives" fancy themselves thespians...yet Neptune may also bring tears of the boo-hoo variety whether crocodile or no.

Sun/Moon midpoint = natal US Saturn: addressing problems; weakened system (I'll say--is there any money left, Rs? Not to mention the ethics issues you left in your sorry wake); separation from the community (buh bye); inhibitions; depression; renunciation.

At the top of the chart we see lonely Saturn--on one level signifying Bush, the isolated leader (in Leo, too) and on another level representing the Democratic Party being on display for a turn as top pup (Jupiter = the R Party.)

Congress' natal Saturn happens to be there as well, 23Leo44, and so we are in the throes of Congress' Saturn Return which is an ongoing process this time due to Saturn's Rx period.

Will we be "treated" to the same old Capitol Hill Productions, Act II?

The transiting midpoint of Pluto/Chiron (plutocracy; oppression; racism) has been conjuncting Congress' natal Pluto/Chiron midpoint off and on recently...natal Pluto/Chiron 15Cap27. And Congress recently had its Venus Return on Dec 4 with natal Venus 21Sag54. It's all cycling 'round, m'peops.

And so--the lame-duck-limpingtook place this morning with Sun Sag/Moon Leo:

At an emotionally moving ceremony, a shaman of the gypsies is given an honorary university degree in herbal lore and ancient geography.

Even I had an emotion this morning waking up to NPR talking about the all-nighter limpy Congress pulled--yee haw!! The Dem Party's progressed New Moon cycle has begun!

Would that it may be allowed to do some good for our nation and for the world.
