A Natal Horoscope for Newt Gingrich

Newt Notes

by Jude Cowell

Yes, his poll numbers are up and endorsements pour in for Republican candidate Newt Gingrich with his high-flying Sun Gemini/Moon Sagittarius personality blend. Herman Cain's romantic yet secretive nature and Rick Perry's constant flubbability are aiding Mr. Gingrich with fellow Republicans desperate for a viable horse to bet on in 2012.

Earlier today I published Gingrich's natal horoscope with a few details if you're interested. I'd begun the post a week ago and thanks to our holiday break here in America, only today did I get around to completing it but neglected to move the article into today's queue. Hence this shout-out.

See what you think about this Sun/Moon square Neptune (at a critical 29th degree) guy and leave a comment if you have a chance.

Would you vote for the Newtster?

~:~

Plus, here are astro-peeks at Mitt Romney (horoscope shown) and Gov. Rick Perry (chart details only), the candidate who never got the memo that the voting age in America is 18, not 21, and the 2012 elections will be held on November 6, not Nov 12...so much flubbability for just one man!

Aquarian ascendant (as per Lois Rodden’s data) gives an outward impression of resolute thinking which appeals to his conservative fan-base, but his Gemini Sun opposite Sagittarian moon suggest a much more free-spirited, light-hearted, flexible character inside. Mercury-Uranus conjunction- a very inventive, original thinker, said to “have 100 ideas a day, one or two of which are good ones”. He needs slower, more solid thinkers to filter his ideas. Neptune T-square suggests he can believe what suits him, and convince others without consciously lying. Probably a very different guy in his previous career- the main aspect patterns are separated, suggesting separate sub-personalities. Could lead to charges of inconsistency or even hypocrisy. The powerful, authoritarian Arian Mars-sextile-Saturn comes out in competitive situations, and this is his biggest competition yet. He speaks convincingly for “Angry America” during the ongoing revolutionary Uranus-Pluto transit. Venus in Leo is his only fixed sign planet- the women in his life are an anchor to reality, which he could find inconvenient. Attracted to self-confident women, could lose interest if they lose self-confidence, e.g. through illness. Very loose Pluto and Uranus aspects to Venus, but they’re the only Venus aspects, enough to get him into trouble.
