Is Election 2024 a Jupiter Return to Election 2012?

Knowing that the orbit of planet Jupiter takes close to 12 years to complete, the cyclical return of Jupiter to a certain Zodiacal position takes about that long. And since Election 2012 was the successful re-election of President Barack Obama and VP Joe Biden, Election Year 2024 carries the cosmic imprint of a Jupiter Return to Election Year 2012. By a difference of one day, the 2012 Election was held on November 6th with Jupiter @14Gem33, and as you know, this year the Election is on November 5th with Jupiter Rx @20Gem06.

So we can see that The Jolly One has moved on by about 6 degrees from his 2012 position - similar to the way the American people have moved beyond grumpy old man Trump the frowny sour puss - and forward to the easy laughter and stellar political skills of VP Kamala Harris who believes in a progressive future for our country, not a dark past irrationally revisited under the yoke of a death cult.

For as you know, on November 5th our choice is between young vs old, future vs past, light vs dark, life vs death, folks! And a victorious Kamala Harris as President will need down-ballot victories, too, in both House and Senate in order to correct mistakes and move America toward the future. By Zoom call, VP Harris has accepted the Democrats' nomination and says she will officially accept next week at the DNC 2024, an event which will be cosmically imprinted by an Aquarian Full Moon.

In case you missed it, check out Thom Hartmann's overview of Trump entering his Fat Elvis phase of trying to recapture his faded glory. And of course, "fat" is a Jupiterian descriptor, plus, albatrossian Trump was born under a 2nd hou$e Stationary Jupiter in Libra with its constant refrain of, "it's not fair!," along with a hefty urge to break through boundaries including the boundaries of others.

Now if you wish, refresh yourself with details concerning Election 2012 held, as noted, on November 6, 2012 with Jupiter Rx @14Gem33. In 2024, the Election occurs on November 5, 2024 with Jupiter Rx clocking in @20Gem06.

And if out of curiosity, we search for the 2012 Election's Jupiter Return in 2024 we find three dates: 1. August 1st (yesterday!); 2. December 20, 2024 (see below); and 3. March 22, 2025, about one day after Spring Equinox 2025 (post with horoscope coming soon).

Now obviously, Mercury-ruled Gemini is the fluid Mutable (changeable) sign of communications, trade and commerce, thinking, teaching and learning, voting, decisions, travel, trickery, lies, theft, and a multiplicity of other things, while Jupiter operates in the realms of expansion, generosity, freedom, finances and banking, corporatism, politics, ideology, religion, law, justice, ethics, morality, civil service, and the list goes on.

Yet with transit Jupiter retrograde until October 9, 2024, we should add that today's news concerns what is now a softening of the US economy (ex: jobs numbers are down) as Republican Fed head Jerome Powell keeps interest rates up which continues helping Trump "win" in November. Finagling a recession in the US would make victory more difficult for VP Kamala Harris, but not impossible.

And so when Jupiter lumbers through Gemini - opposite Sagittarius, the sign it rules - we expect versatility, a variety of changes, making lots of contacts and connections, an obliging manner, an emphasis on those with carefree attitudes, but also a potential for superficiality, often a feature of skim-the-surface Gemini.

Then as Campaign 2024 trundles on, we're being "treated" to expansive fibs and fantasies from those who use deception and gaslighting (trickster Mercury ruling duplicitous Gemini) in order to achieve their take-over objectives and this identifies the win-at-any-cost crowd of cheaters and election fixers.

Meanwhile, in the context of the 2012 Election, we know that it was a Blue Wave of Democrats and Independentswho voted to re-elect President Obama and VP Biden so to avoid the tyrannical agenda of radical Republicans in November 2024 into 2025, a Blue Tsunami is needed to wash the dark-visioned saboteurs, including Fat Elvis, out to sea!

Full Moon Weekend: Will Biden Step Down?

UPDATE July 20, 2024: Adding just a mention here that the Full Moon of July 21, 2024 as shown, below, is or symbolizes a Moon Return to the Lunar Eclipse of July 21, 1861; this cosmically links the July 2024 lunation to the era of the Civil War. Is this significant to current events?

Well, I consider it to be worth consideration because of repeated right-wing calls for a second civil war, and the fact that to me, the Democrats who are pressuring President Biden to step down are doing Trump's and Putin's work for them - enemies of America with their greedy eyes plastered upon the overthrow of the US government via Election 2024, and violence if Democrats dare resist. See Events of 1861 - of a war instigated by seditionists of the same fascist-style persuasion that is now risen again.

First this: Joe Biden insists he will stay in the race despite allies urging him to 'pass the torch'. Yet a rumor floating around is, that President Biden could possibly decide this weekend to step down from his 2024 Campaign while retaining the Office of the Presidency.

Well, I'm no mind reader so I'll simply post the Full Moon Horoscope for Sunday July 21, 2024 @29Cap08 which casts a bright spotlight upon US 1776 Pluto Rx (27Cap33) and US Pluto now progressed to 29Cap32 (and Direct). You may wish to check the Sabian Symbols involved and you'll find Saturn's Symbol ("20Pisces") listed with karmic Saturn knocking at Biden's natal IC of Domestic Scene.

This significant transit times the end of one life phase, and a new phase of life beginning but it won't be an exact conjunction for President Biden's IC until February 2025 (it's penned on the chart). Having more responsibilities in the home are suggested with perhaps fewer professional duties.

Actually, this post is intended to display a noon natal horoscope for Peter Thiel, born in Germany on October 11, 1967, grew up in the US, and takes on the role of a wealthy behind-the-scenes meddler in US politics. Perhaps you remember that Thiel's RNC 2016 speech was somewhat unusual but so was the Republican conference with its Russian influences and Capricorn Full Moon conjunct US 1776 Pluto.

Added below Thiel's noon chart are a few notes concerning the Prenatal Solar Eclipse Saros Series ('PE') into which Baby Thiel was born:

Mercury with Mars = Politics

Planetary details from the horoscope, above, include a midpoint picture that was operative no matter the hour of birth: Sun = Mercury-Pluto making Thiel a keen observer with a need for recognition. Yet his Mercury @12Sco30 is unaspected which suggests a lack of self-reflection, independent thinking, and a strong ability to concentrate on objectives; a one-sided approach is a potential.

It seems that a hardhearted Christian Nationalism has thrown deceptive sand in their eyes, as we know by the constant gaslighting from a power-mad authoritarian GOP determined to rule the US for decades. Not govern. Just rule like kings.

Meanwhile, planetary aspects to Peter Thiel's 5 North Eclipse of October 11, 1967 may be instructive:

Mercury conjunct shows a need for reasoning and logic, and may have health connotations (Mercury in sexy Scorpio, sign of surgery); Mars inconjunct denotes a family history which may include physical abuse (perhaps taken out on little Peter?); Neptune opposed denotes confusion, cloudiness, and chaos-creation within the realms of a truth vs fiction, reality vs fantasy atmosphere. As it turns out - and it may mean something or nothing but it does at least partially rhyme with current events - on October 11, 1719 the Philippines' Governor-General Bastillo was assassinated. Therefore, the cosmic time link (1967 to 1719) is suggestive but not conclusive; however, Thiel's birth basically may be said to symbolize a Solar Return to the violent action of 1719 so you may wish to see Wikipedia's Events of 1719 for more potential correlations with our era.

If All Goes Well on Capitol Hill

Will the clownish, do-nothing, stunt-prone atmosphere of the current 118th Congress' Maga-led House fade away into the dustbin of history, yet with its sorry effects lingering on? Of late, there is an odor in the air, as perhaps you agree.

Well, when the 119th Congress swears in on January 3, 2025, below is the horoscope we get at 12 noon est, if all goes well. How many, if any, Maga and Freedom Caucus malcontents (aka, seditionists) will be sworn in depends on the results of Election 2024 - and whether the Justice Department catches up with congress members complicit in the J6 coup attempt. These topics we've discussed multiple times here on SO'W so let's not repeat it in this brief post as we look ahead to January 3, 2025 events.

Besides, when it comes to taking a congressional Oath of Office, we have cause to wonder what exactly any seditionist could possibly swear to that's in any way aboveboard.

119th Congress Horoscope January 3, 2025

Now as you see in the 119th Congress chart below, the 8 North "Great American Eclipse" of April 8, 2024 @19Ari24 rises with its visions and dreams vibes along with priestly Chiron, the wounded healer - and/or the blindspot. This may refer to "Republican" theocrats so desperate for governmental control, but hopefully it's more of a compassionate indicator than a brutal one - a New Testament Christ rather than an Old Testament authoritarian with a twisted eye-for-an-eye perspective against all humanity - women in particular.

However, the reality is that the 8 South Eclipse of October 2, 2024 @10Lib03 is of the Series in which all three events - Election 2024, the 119th Congress' swearing in, and Inauguration 2025 - occur with 8 South themes of loss and separation (B. Brady) for one side or the other. But isn't that always the case with any competition? One side wins and the other side loses. Personally, I prefer the good guys side rather than the evil bas**rds, and I hope you agree:

Dean Phillips 1969 vs Joe Biden 1942

Unless he's already been persuaded otherwise, Dean Phillips has announced that he'll challenge President Biden for the 2024 Democratic nomination, and has stated that he "loves" Joe Biden. A native of Saint Paul, Minnesota, Rep. Phillips was born January 20, 1969 with Sun @00AQ28 (America's Inaugural Sun position = POTUS), and Moon in either late Aquarius, or as late as 11 Pisces+.

Taking his Oath of Office on January 3, 2019, Phillips is a member of the Problem Solvers Caucus of Republicans and Democrats, a group created by the No Labels entity that runs third party candidates in order to skew elections. Is this his objective in challenging the incumbent Democratic president? Or, it's possible that Dean Phillips is being used as a tool for the interests of others. We should have more details later on.

Ambitious Mars in Scorpio Craves Power

A prominent factor in both Dean Phillips' and President Biden's natal horoscopes is that they share a position of natal Mars, both @12Scorpio+ (13Scorpio = "An Inventor Inventing"). So even though we have no birth hour for Dean Phillips (or I don't, at least), I'm including here his 2023 Mars Return Horoscope (upper right) along with his noon natal chart (lower left).

His Mars position in the Return chart is based upon the noon position of Mars in his natal horoscope so the timing may be off a bit; notice that the Mars Return 2023 of President Biden occurs on October 30, 2023 and both their Return charts have the midpoint picture of Sun-Mercury = Mars (highlighted in yellow and supplying them both with "the will to fight" - R. Ebertin), Plus, both men are having transit Jupiter in Taurus opposing natal Mars which indicates that projects on too grand a scale may fail:

As you see, for Rep. Dean Phillips, both his Mercury and Jupiter are stationary, thus emphasized, having just turned retrograde ('Rx'). In addition, money bags planet Jupiter @6Libra03 is involved in a planetary trio with innovative Uranus, the South Node of inheritance, and powerful Pluto which suggests his family wealth and social status. That a career in Politics has followed makes sense.

Now besides their Mars positions being conjunct (Mr. Biden obviously had a Mars Return in 1969), Dean Phillips' natal Neptune @28Scorpio contacts or blends with Joe Biden's natal Sun and Venus so perhaps it really is "love" (Venus-Neptune). Has Mr. Biden okay'd the 2024 challenge from Dean Phillips?

GOP's Biden Impeachment Inquiry Opens

Chaired by Republican Rep. Jim Jordan, the GOP (maga) inquiry into impeaching President Joe Biden opened this morning at 10:00 am edt. Actually, Trump's handmaidens are on a fishing expedition to 'catch' Joe Biden by linking him to his son Hunter's activities, in hopes of making Trump look better to voters. So far, no equivalency has been found between decades-long public servant Biden and insurrectionist Trump. And you know, Joe came out of retirement to help us with this fascism thing but extremist Republicans don't like it.

Blue Saturn, karmic planet of law and order

So! Below you see a bi-wheel of the Republican Party Horoscope (inner) set for March 20, 1854 6:30 pm LMT Ripon, WI, and (outer) today's 10:00 am EDT chart set for Septmber 28, 2023 with 10Sco06 rising ("11 Scorpio": "A Drowning Man Rescued"). Wonder who ordered this fishing expedition hoping to be rescued from his troubles? Well, Scorpio is the sign of detectives and investigations, with Mars its ruler, and Pluto its sub-ruler.

As you see, the Mars inconjunct Uranus is listed on the chart since Mars rules the inquiry itself with Plutonian influences of power, control, and manipulation in his back pocket. Meanwhile, a 4th house Pluto @27Cap55 Rx remains within orb of America's first-ever Pluto Return and had conjoined 1854 Jupiter 5 times from 2019 into 2020 during the Trump years. Here, Pluto squares North Node of public contact which suggests the revolutionary reforms now in play which challenge The Establishment (Saturn).

But my primary focus is on today's Saturn Rx @1Pis36 which conjuncts 1854 Venus while opposing 1854 Mars. In other words, transit Saturn is activating the Republican Party's quarrelsome Venus-Mars opposition (see lower right corner for details). And there's today's Venus atop the chart with her Leonine pride and her tendencies toward jealousy and greed when she's been scorned (aka, not voted for!)

As for accountability, you know that Saturn demands truth, realism, and the facts but look what was rising at 10:00 am this morning in Washington DC as the proceedings began: Trump's natal Neptune @5Libra, the first planet of his 2nd house trio that includes Chiron and his stationary Jupiter in Libra - and with the morning Sun spotlighting it! To me this implies that Donald's Dream (Jupiter-Neptune) of floating above the fray (his indictments and trials) is on today's menu as his handmaidens attempt to improve the orange oldster's tattered public image, damaged by his own criminality and vengefulness.

And yes, there are plenty of other chart factors of interest for the curious but let's close by saying that the Mars-Uranus inconjunct bodes ill for the outcome of today's political stunt and for its ultimate consequences for the Republican Party. Because maddeningly, instead of working to keep the government from shutting down this Saturday at midnight, these maga-style 'Putin pals' are performing yet another congressional clown show for the sake of sore loser Trump who made his own bed and will now have to lie in it.

Joe Biden's Mars Return of Troubles

In 2021 we discussed the Horoscope of President Biden's Mars Return (12Sco35) of November 17, 2021 which remains operative until the end of October 2023 when Mars returns to 12Sco35 once again. For as you know, it takes planet Mars approximately 2 years or so to complete an orbit so Mars Return Horoscopes are "good for" about 2 years and provide clues concerning new two-year cycles of initiative, individualism, and important new endeavors.

Yes, health concerns may also turn up in a Mars Return Horoscope, often with Leo rising, ruled by the Sun and thus related to heart and spine, especially if the chart ruler is afflicted by planets such as Saturn or Pluto. In this horoscope, chart ruler Mercury squares Jupiter indicating misunderstandings and erroneous conclusions, a good description of current events.

Then if restrictive Saturn falls within the first house of a Mars Return, depleted energy may be the case, if Pluto is in first, then toxins or a need for surgery are possibilities. Of course, if serious illness shows, it must be backed up by progressed planets and additional indications, otherwise, health conditions may be only temporary when shown by a Mars Return Horoscope (duration 2 years or less). Yet as we know with Astrology, forewarned is forearmed, and the next Mars Return may indicate improvement.

However, so far, it seems that First Lady Dr. Jill Biden has been the one having health issues such as surgery. A look at her natal chart, transits, and progressions would be instructive.

Spiteful Politics Can Muck Up Everything

So in consideration of President Biden's current troubles, stress, obstacles, and difficulties with opponents - and you know who they are - a look at the President's current Mars Return Horoscope can be instructive with his Mars in Scorpio, strong its own sign. Follow the link above and you'll see what I mean.

For example, in his November 17, 2021 Return chart, 00Virgo rises along with his natal North Node of fate and destiny, so with Mercury as chart ruler, as noted above, documents and rhetoric are prominent along with fixed star Regulus (keywords: success if revenge is avoided: perhaps we can agree that Joe Biden is not a vindictive man, but we know who is).

Planetary contacts, in force for the 2 years of his 2021 Return, include Saturn in Aquarius square his Scorpio Mars (thwarted actions; delays; frustrations; anger; resentment; fatigue), and reciprocally, today's Mars station turning Direct @8Gemini conjuncts Joe Biden's natal Saturn Rx (@9Gem57) indicates rules being imposed (Special Prosecutor to look into his document situation - some stored away from 10 years ago, his VP days!), plus, a need to become more organized and careful in order to keep the President from running afoul of others. Troubles are often self-created as this transit agrees!

Nov 2022: Are gridlock government and shutdowns on the way?

Blurred: Will It Be the Tyranny of One-Party Rule?

Besides blurring political prospects for the 2024 election, one of the more basic results from last evening's Midterms 2022 Elections is certain to be an increase of gridlock government where the needs of the American people are even less addressed than before. Yesterday's Total Lunar Eclipse (a red 'blood moon') in Taurus did sport radical Uranus conjunct the Moon, after all, so anti-social voters and unexpected happenings were and are in play.

Meanwhile, control of the House and Senate hang in the balance as I type with Republicans promising to finagle more government shutdowns if they should take control of Congress in order to force cuts in our social safety net programs, eventually destroy them, and thereby cause misery of the masses (one of their specialities). This really would be a radical change of course with Uranian flair, and control of Congress may come down to a run-off in my home state of Georgia which would be held on December 6th, last I heard.

Yet today it seems significant that no 'red wave' of the 'blood moon' has occurred but neither did a Blue one, more's the pity for democracy and the Biden administration. Even so, we can still say that outcomes could've been worse - and happily, some of Tr*mp's favored candidates lost their races so the orange blighter is weaker today than he was yesterday - and 2024 hopeful Ron DeSantis has retained his grasp on Florida!

Now ordinarily in America, gridlock in Congress, where few if any legislation can be agreed upon by both parties, is considered a good thing for our federal government because the Founders wanted power to challenge power along with our traditional checks'n'balances (Jupiter-Saturn). Not that maga Republicans respect American traditions - because our traditions such as the peaceful transfer of power get in the way of their plan for one-party tyranny.

Such stalemates should work as protections for the American people, erecting a wall against tyranny yet it's difficult to retain faith in the gridlock-is-good concept when election liars and deniers and their favorite insurrectionist politicians of sedition who don't 'believe' in governing, are tilting our politics and our lives toward a fascist style of government and hurling the US toward totalitarianism with Nazi implications.

Still, for a while at least, I rejoice today because last evening the US Congress failed to gain a huge amount of weight when maga candidate and snake oil pitchman Mehmet Oz lost to John Fetterman in Pennsylvania - and to this I say a hearty hip hip hooray!

Nov 8, 2022: Biden-Trump Progressions

Midterms 2022? Meet Two Progressed Horoscopes

Today my Friday post shows a dual image of President Biden's Secondary Progressed Horoscope (upper right; 'SP') and Trump's ('SP') Horoscope (lower left) with both charts set for natal locations (Scranton PA and Queens NY) on November 8, 2022. Emphasized are the planetary factors that stand out to yours truly but you will undoubtedly discover other significant factors for yourself.

Then, if you read my study notes penned upon the image, differences between the two men will surface for your consideration such as karmic Saturn, planet of authority, responsibility, maturity, soberness, and accountability in a starring role with reformist Uranus, and with Pluto, planet of power, wealth, and stealth. All three planets play major roles when it comes to leadership style and the exercising of power or its abuse. And of course, transformation is part of the Plutonian picture as well - especially in 2022 with America's first-ever Pluto Return/s ongoing.

Planet Saturn in a Leader's Horoscope and Psyche

President Biden's Saturn remains in Mercury-ruled Gemini when progressed suggesting a measure of adaptable stability, while Trump's Saturn, natally in Moon-ruled Cancer, has progressed into Sun-ruled Leo suggesting rigidity and pomposity. In quicksilver Gemini, Saturn suggests conscientiousness, logical thinking, studiousness, and a tendency to become preoccupied with difficult problems (like presidents must do). However, wall-builder Saturn tends toward neurosis when in emotional, self-protective Cancer, but when progressed into proud Leo, we find Trump's egotism, dislike of formalities, and deep need for power, control, recognition, applause, and importance.

Additionally, we know that restrictive Saturn can add fear and/or paranoia to most any equation, as well as a sense of loss when Saturn's demands for upright behavior and maturity are not met. Obviously, an individual's Saturn Return Horoscope provides information concerning such issues.

Two factors stand out in particular in each SP chart

For Mr. Biden, it's his SP Uranus Stationed Direct and unaspected so there's a strong emphasis on the planet, plus the suggestion that he's independent and thus not overly influenced by external forces, energies, or actors. (His aviator shades and fast cars might suggest a cool independent streak.)

For Mr. Trump, it's his SP Ascendant @1Sco27 which has received the current 6 South Solar Eclipse of October 25, 2022 conjunct it with themes of 'forcfully taking control' (B. Brady), which is what he's determined and very desperate to do, no matter the cost.

So beneath the symbolic progressed horoscopes (which provide hints as to how one has evolved during their lives), brief notes concerning both men's Sun-Moon blends (which are temporary until SP Moon enters the next Zodiacal sign) are added via The Harveys; then in closing, potentials contained within their SP midpoint pictures are listed for the sake of comparison via Reinhold Ebertin and Noel Tyl:

President Joe Biden: SP Sun Aquarius-Moon Aries (Air-Fire) = self and society; the brotherhood of man is a reality; sound intellect; frankness; disdain for hypocrisy; talkative; an observer of humanity; pokes fun at absurdities; loves challenges; a social reformer or eccentric ambassador; prefers practical answers that cut through bureaucracies and red tape; can be arrogant, cool, and detached. "Image for Integration: Robin Hood and his merry band of men outwit the evil King John once again."

Donald Trump: SP Sun Virgo-Moon Libra (Earth-Air) = pragmatism; lives in a private world; a gift for words; an eye for detail; organized; consults others but pushes through with own ideas; delights in paradox; lives according to a personal code; yearns for the day when others see things "his way"; fussy insistence on getting things a particular way; can be tactful and approachable; ability to cooperate for a common cause. SP Midpt Pix (11/08/22): any, all, or none may apply

President Biden: stress in the profession (Sun-Neptune = MC); pressure to regroup forces and plan anew; constraint; grave inhibitions (Moon-Pluto = Saturn); desire for pleasant contacts with many people (Jupiter-North Node = Pluto); placing false hopes on associations; dealing with others naively or simplistically (Jup-Nept = North Node).

Donald Trump: desire to rise from difficult circumstances; major separation (Saturn-Pluto = MC); grappling with unusual problems; brooding over one's destiny (Mercury-Saturn = Pluto); having a bad influence upon others; breakdown between people living together (Nept-NN = Pluto); giving stimulating ideas to others (Venus-Uranus = Mercury); chaotic emotional life; easily led by others; a dreamy nature (Venus-Neptune = Moon); arranging associations or unions (Jup-NN = Merc: or an army? jc); contemplating loss; fearing wipe-out; abandonment (Merc-Saturn = Pluto).

Dec 2021 When Venus Comes Back in Bounds

Just as other personal planets in this condition, planet Venus Out-Of-Bounds ('OOBs' in my charts) of the Earthly plane displays some interesting traits, characteristics, and propensities when considered in a horoscope. Transit Venus (a money planet as is Jupiter) has been out-of-bounds for quite some time but will re-join the rest of the planetary panoply on December 7, 2021 - by my software's calculation - at 3:38 pm est with Venus @23Cap57:37 and approaching powerful Pluto (see lower left and right corners).

Note that December 7, 2021 is a day of a Lunar Return for Senator Kyrsten Sinema which perfects at 5:17:59 pm est (natal Moon @6AQ19 opposite natal Saturn; her natal Mercury @17Can09 conjunct natal MC - is OOBs = thinking 'out of the box'; 'unorthodox pespectives'). And note that Moon-ruled Cancer is a very private, subjective sign. Another thing about her natal Moon which seems unfortunate - Luna conjoins Nemesis, asteroid of foes and enemies. Could she have a 'reigning need' for enemies?

Now obviously, this Venusian OOBs condition has suggested the ongoing financial gridlock in Congress over President Biden's Build Back Better and Infrastructure Bills, so perhaps the return of Venus to 'playing along' in December could time much needed improvements on Capitol Hill for the benefit of the American people and in support of the beneficial themes of the December 4th 5 South Eclipse. Yet surely legislative passings can occur before December but we shall have to see, won't we? Delays and obstacles are tiresomely used tactics of the US Congress, as we know.

So below you see the last moment with Venus -23:27 after which Venus is technically back in bounds and will begin to engage with the rest of the celestial bodies (actors). Plus, a vibe of cooperation is also shown by the emphasized T-Square's midpoint pictures with apex Jupiter @26AQ21 in 10th house (highlighted in green; Venus in blue; 6th house Mars in his own sign of Scorpio leads a BOWL shape indicating 'advocacy of a cause' or 'having a mission' and may suggest militants or simply activists). And if this Jupiter conjoins (what some astrologers use as) US natal Moon (at apex), the T-Square indicates public anger and a potential for provocative behavior to continue although with a Jupiter-to-Moon transit happiness may be involved for at least some of us. Malcontents, not so much.

Plus, when in Saturn-ruled Capricorn, Venus tends toward faithfulness, a sense of duty and responsibility (Moon-Saturn = MC concurs, upper right!), and a 'matter of fact' nature, but in some cases this placement can express negative traits such as distrust, jealousy, and old-fashioned or out-of-date views. And it seems somewhat paradoxical that the Sabian Symbol of returning Venus @24Capricorn = "A Woman Entering a Convent." Does lady Venus consider the US Congress to be like a "convent"? Maybe. And there is a seclusion factor with both entities and in the Senate serious deliberation supposedly remains an objective and a habit similar to the meditation that life in a convent entails. Dane Rudhyar explains this symbol as, "The final goal is the attainment of TRANSCENDENT SECURITY." Maybe Lady Venus tires of 'running wild' and scoffing at societal traditions out on her own!

So penned on the chart you see Venus in blue as apex of two midpoint pictures which denote 'appeasement' and 'idealized thinking': Mercury-Jupiter and Mars-Neptune. Yes, Venusian romance may be involved as well but that's beyond the scope of this post!

Aug 24, 2021: a Mercury-Neptune w more Neptune affair

Friday August 20, 2021: As many folks know, the combination of Mercury with Neptune has in the past reflected many problems for America and the duo's deceptive influences haven't helped the misdirected, self-destructive energies of America's natal Mars-Neptune square one bit.

An example is the 'First Shot of the Civil War' with the Mercury-Neptune midpoint rising on the Ascendant with suggestions of being 'exploited, harmed', and/or 'deceived by others' (R. Ebertin). Then more recently there's the indiscriminate, fraud-promoting, hoax-loving, gossiping, scheming, fantasy-prone Mercury-Neptune square of old Donald Tr*mp which continues to bedevil, deceive, betray, and undermine us. And he, a fan of secessionists and white-power scofflaws of past and present. Birds of a Mercury-Neptune feather!

Of course, this planetary duo can be very creative and imaginative in a positive way depending on one's motives and on the way its energies are utilized. But as always on SO'W, we're talking primarily about Politics and politicians who don't always have the best interests of our country at heart. In fact, some never do.

Yet why mention the upcoming transit of the Mercury-Neptune opposition at all? Mainly because it perfects during the titanic Neptune in Pisces opposing US natal Neptune in Virgo which spotlights the Virgo-Pisces/victim-savior axis (intercepted across the 6/12 houses in the DC Horoscope, below. This cosmic circumstance adds a heavier sense of karma at work with societal issues of persecution and shifting ideals which must be dealt with. Naturally, we all feel these difficult energies at play so it comes as no surprise to anyone, even without astrological input. And significantly, there's the cosmic fact that the opposition involves US natal Neptune in Virgo (22:25) which makes it what I call a Mercury-Neptune with more Neptune affair for our nation at this particular time in history:

August 24, 2021: Mercury-Neptune Opposition @9:13:20 pm edt Washington DC

As you can see, many of my study notes are penned upon the chart for readers who may wish to read them. And at least four different solar eclipses are spotlighted in this chart, highlighted in orange:

Prominent at Midheaven is the 'Covid Eclipse' of December 26, 2019 (4Cap06), the 5 South Eclipse @12Sag22 in December 2021 that conjuncts this 9th cusp ('good news, benefits'), and Election 2024's Prenatal Eclipse ('PE') @10Lib04 ('loss; separation') conjunct the August 21st position of election planet Venus (10Lib26). Meanwhile, as we know, all eclipses are karmic, Uranian, and can be direction-changing or shocking for they tend to uncover secrets and revelations, inconvenient or scandalous as they may be for those directly affected. Also note that rebellious Uranus @14Tau46 Rx continues its 'visit' to starry Menkar with its Jonah-and-the-Whale imperative to say what must be said. This star conjoins US Inaugural Ascendants (the Oath of Office), and I believe spotlights the US Presidency as 'bully pulpit' or mouthpiece. Of course, you may disagree, but there it is.

Now the fourth solar elipse is the series we're in now: 5 North which perfected on June 10, 2021 @19Gem47 ('dreams, insights, visions'), here in 3rd house of Communications, Neighborhoods, Primary Schools, and mentally, the Lower Mind. This suggests that ethics, morals, standards, and integrity (Gem-Sag) are very much at stake as everyone knows - add these to our Virgo-Pisces health, service, and employment issues. Obviously, teaching and mask-wearing (or not) come easily to mind especially with the 'Covid Eclipse' at The Goal Point of this chart.

So now let's simply skip to the implications of Mercury-Neptune with more Neptune while noting that generally, the Mercury-Neptune combination of energies in Politics can suggest 'weak or artificial plans that must be rethought', and/or 'a legislature that controls the excesses and dreams of its leaders'.

Add US natal Neptune in Virgo to the mix and we have potentials for:

"Added dreaminess in thinking and reasoning; contrived ideas and solutions that may seem impractical at first, but which have an underlying basis for approaching problems in a new way" (Midpoints: Unleashing the Power of the Planets, M. Munkasey #ad; my italics).

And yes, we've considered Transit Neptune opposing US natal Neptune in a previous post if you care to view or review the May 1, 2021 horoscope.

Plus, please note in closing that the opposition's Syzygy Moon is the Full Moon of August 22, 2021 @29AQ37 conjunct the natal Descendant of old man Tr*mp at a critical-crisis 29th degree - as is his natal Ascendant (conjunct royal Regulus) which suggests that the malicious orange schemer and his enablers continue to be involved in our Neptunian affairs. But that's no surprise either.

December 2021 Solar Eclipse and Biden's Jupiter Rx

November-December 2021: 'Cosmic Blink' Eclipses and President Joe Biden

Wednesday August 18, 2021: As you know, planet Jupiter can play multiple roles in a mundane horoscope such as financier, banker, corporatist, politician, broadcaster, and/or reverend or guru. In that spirit, let's spotcheck the natal exalted in Cancer Jupiter (Rx) of Joe Biden by using the December 4, 2021 Solar Eclipse Horoscope as a transit chart.

You'll find the 5 (New) South Solar Eclipse of December 4, 2021 on the List of 2021 Solar and Lunar Eclipses and as you see below in the 5 New South Eclipse Horoscope, transit Pluto @25Cap07 opposes for the third and final time President Joe Biden's natal Jupiter Rx @25Can08 (in his natal 8th house). Obviously, powerful forces oppose his financial and political goals, and the power struggle continues. This difficult opposition was noted in a previous post as, "Pluto opposite natal Jupiter (3x): January 29, 2021, August 4, 2021, December 4, 2021: Difficult legal and financial battles, power issues, avoid gurus including religious ones." Yes, reforms, proposals, improvements, and legislative success of the Biden adminstration have been blocked, resisted, criticized, and/or delayed with the most recent example the ongoing catastrophe of the US withdrawal from Afghanistan when the Afghan army unexpectedly laid down its guns and accepted Taliban rule. This with transit Uranus, planet of shocks and the unexpected, conjunct the US Inaugural Ascendant.

Of course, multiple other planetary transits are in force this year into 2022 for President Biden and thus for America, some of which involve President Biden's natal Mars (unaspected). In fact, a Mars Return occurs for him on November 17, 2021 as notated, lower right corner with a square (blockage) from transit Saturn and a possibly perilous opposition from transit Uranus, thus forming a dynamic T-Square with potentials for: 'injuries: accidents; violent destruction; separations'; and/or 'a lack of adaptability' (R. Ebertin). Of course, with erratic Uranus involved, none of these potentials may express at all.

Here's an excerpt from the post linked, above, concerning an unaspected Mars:

"Natal Mars with no contacts or influence from other natal planets can act in an unrestrained, direct manner, and a build-up of negative Mars traits (anger, aggression, willfulness, lack of control, etc) may suddenly erupt in a temper tantrum or a show of force. However, maturity helps control such Martian tendencies with Mr. Biden's Scorpio Mars suggesting the potential for taking secret or hidden actions."

Meanwhile, some stabilizing cosmic assistance can be seen through the Saturn trine natal Saturn transit (highlighted in green) from 9 Aquarius to 9 Gemini, both mental Air signs, as you know. Old man Saturn represents karma and also the extensive experience of politician and former Senator, Joe Biden, plus, his long-time colleagues and friends who advise him - and with Saturn wearing his responsibility-and-accountability hat, Biden's recent use of President Truman's "the buck stops here" is indicated. Lesson-bringer and taskmaster Saturn approves.

Now in the bi-wheel, below, President Biden's natal chart (1942) surrounds the December Solar Eclipse Horoscope (2021), inner, a backwards way of showing the transits but I think it works.

Notably, the 5 New South Eclipse @12Sag22 ('benefits' and 'good news! - B. Brady) conjuncts or 'hits' the Ascendant in our July 4, 1776 horoscopes set for late afternoon, used by many astrologers though not by others. This personalizes the eclipse for America for those who use a mid-Sag Ascendant for the USA:

A Solar Return Full Moon according to the houses and signs involved indicates a phase of completion, culmination of cooperative efforts, tension, and/or some form of discordancy: a Revelation or a Change of Direction May Also Be Indicated (as with all eclipses)

Not shown in this post but a cosmic event which must be mentioned is the December 2021 Solar Eclipse's Syzygy Moon, a Lunar Eclipse @27Tau14, which eclipses Joe Biden's natal Sun at his Solar Return 2021 (which perfects on November 19th rather than the 20th: Sun @27Sco33 with a Solar Return Moon @00Gem58 conjunct North Node (direction); a Gemini SR Moon suggests fast-paced events, communications, paperwork, and/or agreement issues on the menu, plus, gossip, frayed nerves, or questions of unreliability may be prominent. Of course, this Lunar Eclipse could only indicate promiment or important events for Joe Biden's White House, or something disruptive, scandalous, or even health-related.

And significantly, the Pluto-opposite-natal-Jupiter-Rx transit conjoins the MC-IC Angles when the Lunar Eclipse Horoscope is set for Washington DC - with transit Pluto at the Foundation Point of the chart.

Karmic Planets block President Biden's Plans into 2022

2021 into 2022: Cosmic Influences Affecting the White House

Well, it isn't as if a major shift of the US government's policies and tone to a more democratic position of logic and compassion could be easy after years of Tr*mpian mismanagement, anti-constitutional actions, lawlessness, and plain old brutality. Therefore, it must be no surprise to you, dear reader, that beneficial planetary influences upon President Biden's natal planets will be partially mitigated going forward by a few difficult planetary transits from karmic planets Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto. Karmic because they take a long time to get where they're going and represent a build up of energies and conditions which must eventually be dealt with via the planets they aspect.

So below are prominent transits now in progress - squares, oppositions, sesquisquares - that pop out at yours truly and suggest an extended period of blockages and obstacles to President Biden's plans and goals with forces and people (planets as actors) standing in the way of his, of our, of America's path to progress and improvement. And sadly for the common good, such blockages are what we've learned to expect from radical reactionary Republicans and their wealthy authoritarian enablers.

Note that 'coming soon' transits are italicized:

Pluto sesquisquare natal Saturn (5x, twice in 2020; 3 of 5): January 23, 2021, August 13, 2021, November 27, 2021. Goals are severely criticized and secretly or indirectly undermined.

Pluto opposite natal Jupiter (3x): January 29, 2021, August 4, 2021, December 4, 2021. Difficult legal and financial battles, power issues, avoid gurus including religious ones.

Saturn opposite natal Pluto (3x): February 17, 2021, September 20, 2021, October 31, 2021. Battles for authority and control with no clear victor, larger forces attempt manipulation of events and/or people, a transformed sense of responsibility and authority.

Saturn square natal Mars (3x): April 19, 2021, June 26, 2021, January 7, 2022. Derailed plans, patient, calm persistence required, hard work, eventual success.

Neptune sesquisquare natal Pluto (3x): April 25, 2021, August 28, 2021, February 24, 2022. A confusing time when goals and objectives require reassessment for best results.

Uranus opposite natal Mars (3x): June 4, 2021 (with energetic Mars conjunct his natal Jupiter exalted in Cancer, possibly a financial indicator), November 4, 2021, March 25, 2022. Unpredictable people and events, possible danger, threatened security, unstable conditions, quarrels, rebellion or revolt.

Now naturally, these transits to natal planets activate any of their aspects in the natal horoscope. A prominent exception in President Biden's natal chart is his unaspected Mars @12Sco35 in 11th house of Groups and Associations (but depending on the house system used, very near his 12th cusp or inside the Unconscious 12th house.) Natal Mars with no contacts or influence from other natal planets can act in an unrestrained, direct manner, and a build-up of negative Mars traits (anger, aggression, willfulness, lack of control, etc) may suddenly erupt in a temper tantrum or a show of force. However, maturity helps control such Martian tendencies with Mr. Biden's Scorpio Mars suggesting the potential for taking secret or hidden actions.

Yet to me, the most interesting natal aspect is his Saturn-Pluto sextile which has, and can at some point, become the base of a YOD pattern by transit or progression whenever a planet reaches the apex degrees of 7 - 10 Capricorn (YODs can time a crisis, karmic opportunity, or special task). On its own, a Saturn-Pluto sextile indicates one who insists upon having detailed information before making decisions, is a good organizer, defends against victimization, and often deals with issues of power and control (A. Epstein). Plus, a fortunate objective of the sextile for our difficult societal conditions is a desire to refine or reform authoritarian forms of government, a massive effort which seems to be underway!

And if we wish to include one fortunate transit that can mitigate any or all of the above influences, it has to be transit Saturn trine Biden's natal Saturn which puts him easily in touch with like-minded people, forms a measure of stability to his governing methods, and provides for a balanced approach due to the wisdom he's gained from past mistakes and experiences. This beneficial trine has and will occur three times in 2021: in March, August, and December.

More about Neptune's Influence: Scandal or Inspiration?

Now prior to Election 2020, many observations were expressed online about the fact that transit Neptune in Pisces was knocking on the natal 4th house door of Joe Bidenandnd dire predictions were suggested. The final of three exact conjunctions to his Pisces IC occurred on February 19, 2021 so the karmic planet of undermining, dissolution, erosion, deception, theft, and loss is now floating within Biden's 4th house of Domestic Scene, one of the Psychological houses. And of course, with Astrology being all about polarities, Neptune's nebulous energies can boomerang into his 10th house of Career and Public Status as well suggesting how his opponents are searching for old or new scandals to exploit against him and the Democrats. However, Neptune transiting 4th house indicates circumstances that require flexibility, adaptability, inspired thoughts and actions, and, in this particular case, represents the presence of secret service agents within Mr. Biden's environment. My guess is that Joe Biden's natal Uranus trine Neptune provides him with the ability to side-step influences from lower or degrading forces by correctly handling higher levels of consciousness, utilizing a natural talent for seeing through illusion and dishonesty, and identify a man with highly developed intuition which can raise our society to a higher plane.

A Closing Note: As you see, these transits to Joe Biden's natal planets give us only a basic look at the cosmic weather affecting him and thus the country (2021 into 2022) so factor in transits to Mr. Biden's progressed planets, his planetary returns, and so forth, for a fuller picture of the period, both positive and negative.

DC Horoscopes: April 2021 New and Full Moons

March 15, 2021: Below is a dual chart with both the New (lower left) and Full (upper right) Moons of April 2021 set for Washington, DC:

As you know, New Moon phases are for seeding ideas and plans while the following Full Moon is a time of culmination and fulfillment and may also reveal something about full awareness and relationships. In Politics, the 'full awareness' quality of a Full Moon (which can act in similar, Uranian fashion to Lunar Eclipses, disrupting events and redirecting goals) tends to uncover revelations of secrets better kept hidden, or they may possibly inspire leaks of inconvenient information with scandals soon following. Additionally, we might expect the same from New Moons which can act in similar fashion to Solar Eclipses.

Now in April 2021, potentials involve the sign polarities of the lunations which are: Mars-ruled Aries with health asteroid Panacea Rx opposing the New Moon of April 11th (chart is incorrectly titled "April 12th"), plus, the opposite sign of Libra is included, then at the April 26th Full Moon the Taurus-Scorpio polarity (plenty of secrets therein!) is the star of April's cosmic show, curtain raised, spotlight on. Plus, the Full Moon (7Sco06) leads a Locomotive shape of planets suggesting people with a ruthless determination to achieve success (this may describe more than one group of people). A Taurus-Scorpio-themed tussle or stalemate could ensue as it typically does whenever Politics and politicians are involved - and everybody wants to rule the world.

And yes, until late May 2021, we remain under the auspices of the 4 South Solar Eclipse which manifested on December 14, 2020 @23Sag08 with its difficult themes of 'strong emotions over money and/or relationships; a sense of karma or fate; and 'an urge to suddenly end relationships' (Brady). As you see by the date, this is the 'Electoral College Vote Eclipse' so political matters and "the former guy" are obviously involved, including his 'big lie' and the subsequent violence of January 6, 2021, plus, other societal, financial, legal, and political difficulties caused by - or for - bad faith actors, many who are now under arrest or are being investigated.

Then as you see in the New Moon chart of April 11, 2021, transit Mars @23Gem06 (basically a US Mars Return!) opposes and thus activates the themes of the 4 South Solar Eclipse (23Sag08) while speedy messenger Mercury @14Ari57 is apex planet of the ('nwo') Uranus-Neptune midpoint which suggests that someone Mercurial (journalists? authors? orators? young folk? someone in trade or commerce?) is making plans that have little or no chance of being fulfilled (R. Ebertin).

At the April 26th Full Moon (7Sco06) we should note that powerful plutocrat Pluto is at Station Direct and turns Rx in 16 Hours 30 Minutes @26Cap48:29 which is, of course, the Midheaven (The Goal Point) in our Inauguration 2021 Horoscopes of recent years. And with 'unbeatable foe' asteroid Nemesis Rx in both charts conjunct the South Node, past enemies could be itching to affect current events, or may represent a factor that bad faith actors will rely on (SN) to force their way in to where they don't belong.

First thought? Criminal underworld figures slipping in to the country over the US-Mexico border. Yet we must also think of the fighters and agitators who brazenly breached the Capitol Building and the US Congress on January 6th with the misguided goal of stopping the certification of the 2020 Votes for Joe Biden.

2021 Neptune opposes American Revolution Neptune

Feb 10, 2021: The following is an incidental Political Astrology note inspired by the January 6, 2021 Tr*mp Mob Attack on the US Congress:

Shadows, Veils, and Masks! For the third of three times since 2020, transit Neptune in Pisces will soon oppose Neptune (20Vir23) in the American Revolution Horoscope (April 19, 1775 3:29:28 pm Lexington, MA). The opposition began on May 8, 2020, perfected again on August 9, 2020, and finally will complete its oppositional transit on March 4, 2021 - the day of the proposed 'Shadow Inauguration' of Donald Tr*mp! No word on whether a POTUS-esque mummery will actually take place that day or any other but just the thought of such an absurd ceremonial fantasy reminds me of the mockery Tr*mp made of the office of the US Presidency and of the sledge hammer he as an authoritarian figurehead wielded against democracy and the US Constitution. Neptunian shadow it is!

Now with slow-moving Neptune's orbital cycle lasting approximately 164 years, I suspect that not much has been written about a Neptune-opposite-Neptune transit (which is also occurring vs US natal Neptune @22Vi25) but here's what little I know: That this is period of generational conflicts over ideals which are timed to shift from materialism to more spiritual beliefs, battles over issues of racism, religious persecution, and other social concerns, and for many Americans, this is a time of deep reflection especially in relation to the Virgo-Pisces victim-savior polarity and the persecution, suppression, oppression, and exploitation of We The People by wealthy oligarchs, both domestic and foreign.

So in light of the current slide of the US into authoritarian government, we might say that the tide has hopefully been stemmed by the firing of Donald Tr*mp in November, the Electoral College Vote Count certification which proceeded to completion on January 6th, the insurgents being vanished from the halls and chambers of Congress that day, the subsequent installment of Joe Biden in the Oval Office, and the current Senate Trial for inciting insurrection, I say Huzzah!

Furthermore, since in Mundane Astrology divine-source Neptune also represents compassion, the American people now have gentler policies being proposed and/or implemented from the White House as many of Tr*mp's most aggregious actions are in process of being rolled back.

Rather a shift of ideals, would you say?

January 6, 2021 US Congress: Strong Emotions Surface

January 3, 2021: Besides facing the combustible Mars-Uranus Conjunction @6Tau44 on Inauguration Day 2021 and the ongoing sabotage of America by fascist forces and their figurehead Trump, we first must successfully navigate through potential riots, protests, and the seditious behavior threatened in the US Congress on January 6, 2021 by certain congressional Republicans determined to disrupt America's tradition of a peaceful transfer of power, undermine the Biden administration, and, they hope, prevent Trump from tweeting against them and ruining their next election chances. However, on that date the Electoral College Vote is to be certified by the Congress doing its duty.

Of course, this purposefully stirred up 'hail Mary' political drama by Trump and comrades is meant to take over the US government entirely and morph it into a fascist enterprise. And it's all being piled atop our ongoing fight against the SARS-Covid pandemic now decimating the American people and straining our hospital system to its core, plus, our dire economic and cyber conditions. Yes, Trump and his ilk are attacking the country while America is weakened by disease and loss. And a misguided 1/3 of the population likes it!

Now naturally these weighty 2020-into-2021 issues and events are described ably by multiple cosmic factors, some of which have been discussed here on Stars Over Washington and available for those who care to search (sidebar Search field, or just Google). But if I had to name one cosmic factor which basically accounts for many of the stirred up feelings - 'the strong emotions over money and relatonships', it has to be the background influences of the 4 South Solar Eclipse in which we now simmer (that is, until the next Solar Eclipse comes along in June 2021).

Occurring on December 14, 2020 @23Sag08 (the day the Electoral College voted against Trump - see what I mean?), the 4 South Eclipse contains difficult themes that are now expressing in society and what could be one of the peaks of such difficulties manifests in the US Congress, Capitol Hill, January 6, 2021.

And yet there is one promising potential in particular from the 4 South Eclipse @23Sag08 - it 'eclipsed' the 8th house Saturn in authoritarian Trump's Inauguration 2017 Horoscope!

Besides karmic Saturn's rulership of authority, accountability, control, and separation, for me this describes another of the 4 South influences: a 'sudden desire to end a relationship'. For if We The People ever wanted to end a relationship asap, it has to be the one between the Oval Office and saboteur Trump whose presidential term ends at noon on January 20, 2021 as Joe Biden takes the Oath of Office.

Horoscopes: Power Couple Biden and McConnell

December 28, 2020: With their political match-up soon to express in 2021, my study notes are penned upon the dual image of the Natal Horoscopes of President-Elect Joe Biden and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell ('noon' used due to no accurate birth hour for Mitch). Of course, Mitch's position in the Senate could be altered depending on the outcomes of the Georgia run-offs on January 5, 2021. Or not.

Natal Horoscopes

Lower left: Joseph R. Biden November 20, 1942 8:30 am EWT Scranton, Pennsylvania (RR: A); Upper right: Mitch (Mitchell?) McConnell February 20, 1942 "12:00 pm" CWT Sheffield, Alabama.

The Prenatal Solar Eclipses ('PE') of both men fell into Mercury-ruled Virgo although in different Saros Series. That's because Baby McConnell was born early in 1942 and his PE actually manifested on September 21, 1941 while Baby Biden's PE manifested on September 10, 1942, almost one year apart, both in September's Virgo.

Themes of McConnell's 16 North Series are listed to the left of his chart while themes of Biden's 17 New North Series are listed, lower right.

Brief notes concerning Solar Eclipses in Virgo are there, center right, with both men having similar approaches to problems, a strong work ethic and sense of duty, attention to details, and a caution that Virgoan perfectionism tends to hinder karmic progress.

Speaker McConnell's PE @27Vir48 falls smack dab between his North Node and Neptune Rx, the pair that tends toward anti-social and anti-communal behavior and attitudes. And we don't need an accurate birth time to see this.

President-Elect Biden's PE @17Vir17 falls near his Midheaven (19Vir54) so that its themes such as 'sense of duty' are objectives within his career and describe how he is seen on the world stage (MC).

Meanwhile, both politicians are powerfully 'determined on success' due to a Locomotive shape of their planets -- Joe Biden's executive 'choo choo' is led by his creative 5th house Moon @00Tau59, and Mitch McConnell's executive 'choo choo' follows his Venus Rx @5AQ39 (house unknown) which conjuncts US natal South Node (July 4, 1776) relating to the public, a rather difficult Saturnian connection suggesting isolation, possible anti-social/anti-communal behavior (ditto!), a potential for unpopularity, feelings of inferiority hidden by a facade of superiority, plus, a negative karmic condition in which the deprivation of aid and/or affection for others can play a part.

And since Venus Rx leads his 'choo choo' we should also consider Mitch's Venus-Pluto opposition across the self-will axis of Leo-Aquarius with his Pluto Rx conjunct US natal North Node (the 'tiger by the tail' combo) and there's Mitch's Nemesis Rx (the unbeatable foe; divine retribution) conjunct his Pluto.

And where is Joe Biden's Nemesis? Conjunct US natal Saturn @15Lib43.

Can the US Constitution Handle Today's Problems?

Someone Has a Ready-Made Answer to This Disturbing Question

In an article first published in The Nation, the US Constitution is deemed "incapable" of meeting the crises we now face. In American Democracy Was Never Supposed To Work we can read about Founding Fathers purposefully kneecapping democracy in order to protect wealthy plutocrats such as themselves, an idea heard often enough in recent years. It's a plan that continues to work against the common good to this day. Even so, amending the Constitution is a scary thought for who can be trusted to tinker once again under its venerable hood?

Meanwhile, we know that weaknesses in our political system make it necessary to institute more corrective measures than just removing a kicking-and-screaming Trump from the White House. However, certain operatives and saboteurs in and against the US have for years worked to undermine We The People's trust in government to such an extent that the Biden administration must find ways to regain such trust. No one thinks it will be easy. Everyone knows it's an imperative.

So now that years of undermining America have brought us to this chaotic pass, with a Constitution few have faith in and some are disloyal to, the Hegelian Dialectic scam - create a problem so you can offer the solution you were determined to implement all along - seems ready to be further foisted upon us as Americans are marched into a 'New Order' - well-timed by the Great Conjunction-Mutation of Jupiter and Saturn at Winter Solstice 2020, a 'new order' of major reforms and restrictions that the world is supposed to clamor for because nation-states can't handle such massive problems. However, it's the path to global authoritarianism so don't look too closely!

And so for your consideration, or re-consideration, here is the Horoscope of the US Constitution from a previous post (which is why the chart doesn't have the most current transits around it) and as you see, the current Capricorn heavyweights, plus, Saturn now moved into Aquarius as of December 17, 2020 (and Jupiter about to do so) are all in the behind-the-scenes 12th house of karma, self-undoing, and secret enemies. DC Horoscope: Barack Obama's Jupiter Return to DC

December 2020 Brings a Very Interesting Jupiter Return and Judicial Possibilities for Barack Obama

Little did yours truly expect she would ever again be publishing the natal horoscope of former President Barack Obama but here you see an image of it (lower left) in dual chart formation along with his December 23, 2020 Jupiter Return (upper right):

Jupiter in Aquarius: a sense of social justice, humanitarianism, good fellowship, knowledge of human nature, democratic ethical values, distrust of Chauvinistic nationalism, respect for karmic law, indecisiveness (Ebertin; Sakoian-Acker.)

Now I don't have to tell you, dear reader, how a Joe Biden presidency 'brings along' Barack Obama in many ways and on multiple levels. With former VP Biden as former President Obama's mentor (his natal Chiron in Pisces requires mentoring for best results), it now seems to be Mr. Obama's turn to mentor President Joseph Biden! And actually, there are multiple indications in his 2020 Jupiter Return chart which I shall list, below, of the potential for an official position in the Biden administration for Barack Obama so I may as well divulge such a possibility: Attorney General. Well, I wouldn't complain, would you?

Of course, there are other possibilities ahead including unofficial advisor/mentor so naturally only time can tell. And note that a 'shadow presidency' could also be suggested especially since Mr. Obama's natal Jupiter @00AQ51 will be exactly highlighted by degree and minute at noon on Inauguration Day 2021 by the 2021 Inaugural Sun (POTUS/Oath of Office) - @00AQ51! The cosmic synchronicity can hardly be more plain. Transit Sun to natal Jupiter suggests courage and confidence, plus, the involvement of the judicial system, one of the aforementioned Attorney General potentials (or even a SCOTUS Justice nomination?) Of course, this beneficial transit was also in effect for both of Obama's own Inaugurations, and the majority of the American people (and the world!) in spite of problems, were much happier then.

Other planetary contacts are involved of course, but here are three more 'official position' factors, judicial or otherwise, that I've so far spied in Barack Obama's 2020 Jupiter Return Horoscope ('good' until his next Return in 2032) though of course you may notice others, and I hope you will!

Transit Pluto conjunct natal Saturn: work and lifestyle are completely altered; attitude adjustment required in order to accept responsibilities; abuse of authority must be confronted and corrected.

Jupiter-Uranus = Neptune: favorable prospects after loss of position; new ideas to make the world a better place. (Yes, please!)

Pluto-ASC = Sun: determination to end forms of injustice and replace harmful practices; authority which is aware (Tyl; Ebertin; Munkasey).

Now perhaps it's true that these planetary factors won't be enough to spur judicial or official involvement in the Biden administration for Mr. Obama but as previously noted, only time can tell!
