Can Uranus Get a Witness?

Our days of Uranus (The Witness) in earthy Taurus, since March 2019, will end soon as transit Uranus lurches into the tropical sign of Mercury-ruled Gemini.

In Gemini, progressive, futuristic planet Uranus sparks such concepts as original, innovative thinking, new or novel ideas in fields such as Technology, communications, electronics, Science, education, travel (air and space), commerce and trade, literature, persuasive oration, and alternative modes of living and healing. Then given our current societal conditions with Election 2024 coming soon, I must add zealous ideas and ideals from radical reactionaries in Politics; plus, mutable, changeable Gemini is the sign of multiplicity and duplicity.

General negatives of Uranus in Gemini periods include eccentricity, impracticality, scattered ideas and energies, radical or erratic ideals, and/or unreliability in relationships.

Now as you know, Gemini is the sign of America's totem planet, Uranus (@9Gemini in 1776: "A Quiver Full of Arrows"), due to its association with the principles of freedom, independence, anarchy, revolt and rebellion (1775/76). So we should add electricity, shocks, separation, disruption, and upheaval. Also add that America has tended toward war engagement when our Uranus Returns have occurred, and these days, cyber war must be included. Significantly, America's next Uranus Return, a three-fer, will arrive twice in 2027 and once in 2028. A future post on the topic is in the planning stage, so stay tuned to SO'W as you wish.

Now an Alcyone-Uranus conjunction is never to be taken lightly. You'll find a description of its potentials at Astrology King (scroll down to Uranus). Suffice to say that themes of the Prenatal Eclipse ('PE') in the 9 New North Saros Series @9Aries echo the Alcyone-Uranus contact via physical accidents and possibilities of violence. Take no chances! Of course, these concerns loom much larger if the orange fascist manages to coup the White House in November 2024. January 3, 2025: 119th Congress opens

If All Goes Well on Capitol Hill

Will the clownish, do-nothing, stunt-prone atmosphere of the current 118th Congress' Maga-led House fade away into the dustbin of history, yet with its sorry effects lingering on? Of late, there is an odor in the air, as perhaps you agree.

Well, when the 119th Congress swears in on January 3, 2025, below is the horoscope we get at 12 noon est, if all goes well. How many, if any, Maga and Freedom Caucus malcontents (aka, seditionists) will be sworn in depends on the results of Election 2024 - and whether the Justice Department catches up with congress members complicit in the J6 coup attempt. These topics we've discussed multiple times here on SO'W so let's not repeat it in this brief post as we look ahead to January 3, 2025 events.

Besides, when it comes to taking a congressional Oath of Office, we have cause to wonder what exactly any seditionist could possibly swear to that's in any way aboveboard.

119th Congress Horoscope January 3, 2025

Now as you see in the 119th Congress chart below, the 8 North "Great American Eclipse" of April 8, 2024 @19Ari24 rises with its visions and dreams vibes along with priestly Chiron, the wounded healer - and/or the blindspot. This may refer to "Republican" theocrats so desperate for governmental control, but hopefully it's more of a compassionate indicator than a brutal one - a New Testament Christ rather than an Old Testament authoritarian with a twisted eye-for-an-eye perspective against all humanity - women in particular.

However, the reality is that the 8 South Eclipse of October 2, 2024 @10Lib03 is of the Series in which all three events - Election 2024, the 119th Congress' swearing in, and Inauguration 2025 - occur with 8 South themes of loss and separation (B. Brady) for one side or the other. But isn't that always the case with any competition? One side wins and the other side loses. Personally, I prefer the good guys side rather than the evil bas**rds, and I hope you agree:

The regressive GOP targets Zoomers!

GOP 2024: Zoomers, Minority Voters, Women Unwelcome in Voting Booths

As you know, Generation Z, aka, Zoomers, are those born from 1997 to 2012 - "The Future Innovators." Well, obviously, innovation is the last thing the Republican Party wants since regression and backward time travel are major features of their authoritarian agenda of dystopian oppression and misogyny.

Yes, Zoomers are being targeted by Republican operatives because even the entity called the GOP realizes that younger Americans (who will live in the future) will vote in droves in November 2024 for candidates with progressive policies, aka, beneficial ones, rather than settle for the crabbiness, corruption, and greed of low-charactered GOPers, whether indicted yet or not.

So with the multiple GOP tactics, both known and, so far, unknown, such as purging voter rolls (Pluto, planet of purges) they hope to sway Election 2024 their crabby way. Regressives demand a Past vs Future struggle as if clocks can be turned back!

And so we may wish to consider any cosmic predictors (As Above, So Below) that we can find in order to forewarn and forearm American voters of all ages. And we all must do what we can to sound the alarm against regressive Trumpianism and Fascism while taking whatever defensive actions possible in order to avoid America being turned into a dictatorship. In other words, the threat is real: Vote Blue in 2024!

Note to GOP: Time Advances Forward, Never Backward!

Now if you as an American, agree, read on. If you disagree, then you're probably in the wrong country and are reading someone else's Unsealed Letter.

Then there's the fact that transit Pluto of primal violence fame has already inched a twisted hoof temporarily into progressive Aquarius back in December 2020, and Mr. Transformation will be residing in Aquarius in time for Inauguration 2025 - but will still stomp on 29Capricorn for Election 2024, with 29 a critical/crisis degree of impatience. But with Pluto in Aquarius, we may expect more folks to express a communal sense than before. And yet we know that the depressingly long sojourn of Pluto in Capricorn, the cosmic marker for The Dictator (R. Ebertin), is fading as I type even as effects of our three-fer US Pluto Return all through 2022 will be with our nation going forward including the US Mercury-Pluto opposition of 1776 and the surveillance state its energies made possible.

One reliable cosmic marker for Election 2024 is its prior New Moon, a lunation that can affect earthly events like a Solar Eclipse and in a similar disruptive fashion as radical planet Uranus often does. Changes of direction are suggested and secrets may be revealed, so Election 2024's Predictive New Moon Prior is worth keeping an eye on.

Radical Uranus in Taurus: More Trouble in 2024

These days, most people would agree that Donald Tr*mp is nothing if not a furiously enraged, malevolent schemer (aka, our orange albatross, as I term him). And perhaps a dear reader or two may remember Trump's 'Furious Storm' Eclipse of January 5, 2019 in the 2 South Saros Series when a variety of folks were inspired to join unusual groups because they would "gain a great deal" from it (B. Brady). The delusional 'QAnon' is certainly one of said 'groups' although the pay-off from joining the off-kilter movement seems dubious at best since its campaign to undermine America and democracy continues apace and, if successful, its gullible members wouldn't fare any better under such a draconian boot than the rest of us.

Yet the so-called 'QAnon' used in the US is only one facet of a fascist-nazi movement of global proportions which has once again reared its barbaric head after decades of fermenting underground with the eventual intention of taking over the US government and destroying democracy - I believe in time for Election 2024, then catapulting its barbarism and theft toward Inauguration 2025 (if the January 20th ceremony can even be called a "presidential inauguration" via a traditional "peaceful transfer of power"). We might wonder what kind of "Oath of Office" would it be? Or, if successfully taken, will the crass authoritarian movement masquerade itself while continuing to rob us blind? I cannot pretend to know but I do know that, as in the 1940s, anti-societal authoritarianism must be stopped. Again.

Eclipses: Uranian 'Cosmic Blinks' and 'Wild Cards'

Now there've been multiple cosmic signals blinking furiously on the road to Fascism in America and many signals have been noted here on SO'W, perhaps most prominently via the repetitions in our era of the Fascism Rising Eclipse (its series to repeat in 2023) and the Nazis Rise to Power Eclipse, its series repeating right now, and cycling up conditions that have made it easier for the lamentable GOP take-over of the House through the use of its primary theme of 'forcefully taking power' (B. Brady). In fact, the forceful gerrymandering of districts in red states has much if not everything to do with their long-planned 'success' at Midterms 2022. And it was a compromised SCOTUS that allowed partisan gerrymandering.

However, if you've followed the Rachel Maddow Presents Ultra podcast, which just dropped its final episode today (#8 of 8), you've been filled in concerning German fascists working in the US in the 1930s into 1940s, with episode one opening with the mildly labeled Trip 19 Plane Crash (horoscope shown) which killed (assassinated) Nazi sympathizer-agent, Republican Senator Ernest Lundeen on August 31, 1940, plus, other officials, passengers, and crew unfortunate to be on the flight.

Of cosmic significance to America now is the position of the planet of zealous anarchy and coup attempts, Uranus - on August 31, 1940 @26Tau08:49 - conjunct and therefore intensifying the vicious, malevolent star of fury and rage, Algol - and soon returning to its 1940 position in what I consider to be a horoscope describing an event of sabotage.

Therefore, below is a Horoscope of the second of three Uranus Return/s to this degree (@27Cancer = "A Furious Storm Rages Through a Residential Canyon"; ex: Trump's 'Furious Storm' Eclipse, as noted, above), displayed here because the Return of 1940 Uranus occurs on October 25, 2024 just prior to Election 2024 to be held November 5th ('coincidentally' the infamous anniversary date of Britain's anti-government Gunpowder Plot of 1605, as you know).

Shout-Out: President Biden and Herr Trump

A Hidden Factor Revealed is Tr*mp's natal Mars-Ascendant @26-30Leo (conjunct kingly Regulus) completing a YOD pattern of crisis with the Neptune-Pluto sextile forming its base. And as you know, the Neptune-Pluto pairing can represent several potentials of a spiritual nature, but also signifies the criminal underworld for which Tr*mp acts as figurehead in the US.

Additionally, we should note that their sextile also involves Joe Biden for, as it happens, President Biden's natal Scorpio Sun and Venus rise in the chart with 2024 Neptune trining them which suggests potentials for doors to easily open, spirituality to be promoted, and sources of his success and good fortune to be mysterious or difficult to identify; Neptune trine his Venus indicates cooperation in his endeavors. However, rising in this particular horoscope in relation to the Uranus Return to the planet's 1940 position in an assassination chart, and considering the aid from transit Neptune, Mr. Biden's tendency to see only the ideal in people and situations can cause troubles and reversals that democracy can ill afford. If he experiences a lack of clarity concerning these issues, or falls under the spell of a tragic deception or illusion, America will have to face the authoritarian peril without strong enough leadership from the White House. Therefore, others must step up more firmly than ever.

Also notable is that activist Mars @26Can23 conjuncts Biden's natal Jupiter Rx (25Can08) so the Democratic president's part in events is expansive and can activate improvements during the current fascist vs democracy power struggle which is starkly shown by transit Pluto opposing Biden's natal Jupiter for some time now.

So in closing - and believe me when I type that it pains me as an American with Revolutionary ancestors to feel compelled to mention this - the current 6 South Eclipse which manifested on October 25, 2022 @2Scorpio in the 'Nazis Rise to Power' series is a repetition of the very first of three Great American Eclipses from way back in 1878 with #3 arriving in April 2024. So please check out the 1878 eclipse horoscope, if you will, and know that the deadly seriousness of these cosmic and earthly events and threats against democracy are obvious warning signals that no American should ignore, and that such malevolent forces have been stirring for centuries with an evil determination that few folks in our day can easily believe.

The New Millennium in Year 2024

Yet Another Pivotal Year for America and The World

Among the several cosmic and earthly events coming in the year 2024, America's presidential election ranks at the top of our nation's to-do list. It's been written in the past (by Michael Howard, for one) that this will be our country's last such election with our final Inauguration on January 20, 2025. Well, this particular American does not choose to believe this, yet despite the multiple horocopes one can use for America's founding (when the New Order of the Ages began - in 1776, as we know, yet our first official Inauguration was held in 1789), let's instead progress the New Millennium Horoscope for clues as to what lies ahead, not just for America but for all of humanity.

The New Millennium Horoscope; SP New Moon of 2024:

Point is, one helpful technique for gleaning how conditions are evolving is Secondary Progressions ('SP': day-for-a-year), and the milestone years of SP New and SP Full Moons which function as timing devices for new phases being seeded at New Moon, and the culmination or fulfillment stage of development at the SP Full Moon.

And so by progression, the New Millennium Horoscope reveals a significant phasal shift in Year 2024. And actually, we've discussed this topic previously in November 2021. Here's a snippet from that post followed by a link to its entirety where you'll find the same dual chart image shown above:

Now in both charts, a motivated Mars is significant for he leads a Locomotive shape of planets (ruthless executives determined upon success - from his own sign of big business Scorpio). However, the final dispositor in both charts is radical Uranus in its own sign of Aquarius from where the 'Sky God' behaves progressively, futuristically, and often cooperatively on behalf of the group yet, as a planet of change, reform, and anarchy can choose to behave rebelliously while magnifying and exaggerating to distract from the issues. And as we've seen, some serious troublemaking can be the result -".

The New Millennium's Progressed New Moon @4AQ36: Society!

Now there are significant chart factors in the SP New Moon Horoscope that I had intended to discuss more fully in a second post, or at least, had wanted to point them out for dear readers who might wish to follow up on them themselves. Primarily I refer to the conditions of SP Jupiter and SP Saturn for the two societal planets are at Station Retrograde by progression indicating internal shifts within the realms of generous Jupiter and restrictive Saturn, representing the yin and yang of humanity's existence.

And as you know, when translated into Politics, the pair relates to America's much touted system of 'checks and balances' - so long under assault by domestic and foreign enemies determined to destroy society, to destroy civilization itself, their first and primary target: America. (For when you're the number one cheese, all the rats come for a gnaw and a nibble.) So with Jupiter and Saturn turning direct by progression, a go-ahead condition within the realms of both planets is suggested on a mundane level and should be looked into. Hopefully, one or both of us will have the time and opportunity to do so! Also involved is the current cycle of Jupiter and Saturn for the societal duo met @00AQ29 to begin a new 20-year cycle of their own in December 2020 - conjunct US Inaugural Sun (POTUS).

Year 2024: The Real and The Symbolic

Okay, it's true that SP charts are merely symbolic and are good for timing purposes, if nothing else. So for real world events, we'll also want to consider at some point the Great American Eclipse in April, but initially, the Inauguration 2025 Horoscope linked above. Then there's the one and only Great Conjunction occurring in Year 2024 which would be the Meet-Up of Jupiter and Uranus on April 20, 2024 @21Tau49:48, a milestone within their 14-year cycle of this 'break-through' pair. Urksomely in the political realm, April 20th is a certain past psycho-dictator's birth date so for those who can manage to include his anti-societal self and his failed global take-over in their thoughts, it's worth a ponder.

Of course, as I type in the early morning hours of June 14, 2022, America is in the midst of June 2022's public hearings into Trump's coup attempt of January 6, 2021 which was the orange maniac's orchestrated assault on the peaceful transfer of power, on the Capitol Building and certain Congress members (plus, VP Pence), and on our democratic Republic, if we can keep it.

And speaking of that, perhaps you heard that Monday (Jan 13th) this news broke: 'They are desperate': Trump releases 12-page response to Jan 6 hearing so given his often demonstrated way of responding to challenges by projecting his condition onto others, we know that he is the one who's desperate - to avoid indictment and handcuffs. Yet if this should be the fate of the orange menace, I continue to believe that a super-large sized straight jacket had better be on hand.

Venus in Sagittarius on Election Day 2024

As a lifelong fan of Democracy and cheerleader for the continuation of our Republic as a sovereign nation, it isn't easy to admit that on Election Day 2024, Venus in Sagittarius is prepared to bestow the crown of victory upon the incumbent's rival, whomever she, he, or it may be. This unfortunate factoid is strongly suggested by Venus in Jupiter-ruled Sagittarius, for it is the sign of the stranger, the outsider, the foreigner (the placement of Venus in 2016). But note that Venus Cycle predictions have been accurate for most US presidential elections, although not for all, so that's something to keep in mind along with other cosmic predictors such as the New Moon Prior to the election. Plus, who would deny that cheating naturally interferes with election results in unpredictable ways.

Note: perhaps many readers know where I'm 'coming from' on such topics because, as I've previously shared, my uncles fought Nazis in WWII and I have Revolutionary War ancestors. From such shared pro-America sentiments, I surmise that none of my ancestors or family members could possibly have expected after all their sacrifices that America could be so viciously shoved toward totalitarianism and, for women, would be morphed into soul-denying handmaidenism by theocrats and dominionists with political power and Biblical law on their scheming minds. Such reforms would represent an anti-constitutional blending of Church and State which is not one of America's founding principles, as you well know. It would be an antithesis, in fact, and a total reversal of previous plans.

So! Prior to Election Day 2024, it may be worth considering a few things about Venus in Sagittarius, if that's okay with you, dear reader, with astrological Venus representing the attraction principle, and Sagittarius a mutable Fire sign. First, the mutable quality provides a measure of instability to the planet of relationships while denoting hypersentivity and a strong wishing power which may or not pan out in reality. Or if does pan out, the results may be temporary, even chaotic. And of course, Sagittarius and its opposite sign of Gemini have much to do with ethics, morals, and belief systems - and on a political level, with attempts to force them upon other people (as if morality or an uncluttered conscience can be legislated!). In other words, this placement of Venus indicates religious or ideological proselytizing, much of which is done through misinformation, aka, propaganda.

Reaching for Something Positive Here

These cosmic circumstances could be fortunate for incumbent candidates' victories since the confusion, recounts, and/or fraudulent activities in recent years surrounding US elections could turn out differently than a Sag Venus expects or prefers. (This would be on the presidential level, but may also affect down-ballot elections.) Plus, Blue Waves or Tsunamis of voters have been known to sway elections toward Democrats and, considering all the election 'preparations' such as voter suppression and voter roll purges and caging that Republicans have set in motion, I'm thinking that a Blue Tsunami may be the only factor that will make a large enough difference in 2024 for those of us who are determined to keep intact our Republic along with some measure of democratic governance.

In closing, we should also consider that a Sagittarian Venus tends to scatter her energies which suggests taking on too much at once. And if you've ever done that yourself, you know that multi-tasking means that nothing turns out as well as it could have, and that a possibility exists for oversized efforts to collapse under their own weight.

Clarence Thomas: Natal Chart w March 18, 2022 Transits

As you've undoubtedly heard, Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas has been released from Sibley Memorial Hospital as of Friday March 25, 2022 after a week's stay. Justice Thomas was reportedly admitted on Friday March 18th with "flu-like symptoms" and treated for "an infection". With his natal horoscope accurately timed (RR: AA), we can point out that his natal Mars-Neptune midpoint (infections; illness; weakness; toxins) was spotlighted, and perhaps revealed or uncovered - by the March 18th Full Moon @27Vir40 and its opposing Sun (@27Pis40 with contagious Neptune @23Pis03) And of course, that's Virgo, sign of Health; meanwhile, midpoint pictures were formed by transit to natal as you can see in the bi-wheel, below:

Inner chart: Clarence Thomas natal June 23, 1948 9:00 pm est Pin Point, Georgia; Hour of Venus; chart-ruler Saturn makes no applying aspects but Jupiter Rx in his own sign aids Thomas's legal career and financial endeavors by trining natal Saturn (3A27) from 11th house of Groups and Associations (those who helped seat him on the SCOTUS bench: friends in high places, as they say) to his 7th house of Partnerships. Now as you know, 1948 still contained the harsh Saturn-Pluto Conjunction of August 11, 1947 (13Leo07) but their stark energies had begun to wane by the time baby Clarence appeared on the scene, but were still of influence upon the little tyke.

Then, for his 'ruthless determination toward success' (aka, 'success at any cost') we find radical Uranus @26Gem41 (conjunct Ceres, archetype of the democracy he and wife Ginni would destroy!) leading a LOCOMOTIVE shape of his natal planets. His first-house out-of-bounds Moon @1AQ23 links to erratic Uranus via Aquarius so there's something in his childhood that has spurred him on. Emotional emptiness bwo of a distant mother, and privation are my guesses, how about yours? This implies that his serious demeanor could be from more than the Saturn-Pluto duo's influence, plus, his having sober Saturn as chart-ruler of his Ascendant. In 1948, social conditions in 'Pin Point' (!) could not have been easy.

Current Transits to Natal Horoscope

Lower right you see a list of current transits and here are a few potentials they may inspire:

Jupiter opposing Mars: a period when physical actions are delayed or interrupted, including legal activities; enterprises on a grand scale can collapse under their own weight.

Saturn opposing Saturn: regret for past actions; correcting mistakes is called for; authority is challenged (recuse! resign! some shout); authenticity may be questioned.

Venus opposing Pluto: underhanded manipulation, cutthroat competition; shameless exploitation; vicious gossip; power struggles; jealousy, revenge; obsession; connections to organized crime may be uncovered, along with financial deceptions. (Note that Full Moons can behave much as Uranian Lunar Eclipses by disruptively revealing inconvenient facts and/or unsavory relationships; also note that transits to Thomas's natal chart are also highly significant for his wife.)

Mars will oppose natal Pluto, then natal Saturn on or about March 24 and April 1, 2022 which suggests a period when manipulative actions are a waste of time, and arousing the antagonism of others only makes conditions worse; things should be kept at status quo and hostile confrontations avoided, if possible; attempting to impose authority creates anger and resentment, and adherence to rules and regulations is a must because taking shortcuts will bring unfavorable results; delays or cancellations should be expected; guard the health of bones, teeth, and/or chronic conditions, plus, be cautious because accidents and injuries are possible.

Now disruptive Uranus @12Tau13 not only knocks on Thomas's 4th house door of domestic scene, but its erratic influences can also boomerang into the opposing house, the 10th house of Career and Public Status. Whether the current scandal/s will lead to a resignation or other change of direction, we must wait and see, but electric Uranus, aka, The Witness, has the capacity to catalyze major changes and reforms. Here we see Uranus 'meeting' Thomas's natal North Node of encounters and future direction and the pair suggests 'meeting with unusual people' (doctors or surgeons? others?) plus, his and his wife's connections to Tr*mp's 1/6 coup attempt may be what's indicated here. After all, Uranus-NN is known for its links to radical political associations and reformers, anarchy, zealotry, and revolution. Meanwhile, his South-Node-Conjunct-Midheaven contains the potential for a thwarted career especially if Saturnian demands have been mishandled or neglected (10th house is Capricorn's natural house), but the conjunction can also provide a strong capacity for hard work.

March 2022: Two Significant Midpoint Pictures

Now as you know, the Moon in Astrology indicates the physical body on one level (Mama, family, women on other levels; We The People and the public in a Mundane Chart), and the physicality applies to male personages as well, so therefore, health is part of the lunar picture. In the bi-wheel we find that in his natal first house are transit Mars and Pluto, a powerful duo, and their midpoint forms a picture with Thomas's Moon with potentials for publicity, injury or even an attack. Then in his natal 8th house, the Full Moon (and Sun opposite) are by degrees wedged between his natal Mars and Neptune which suggests the infection that's been reported, plus, weakness and/or illness (R. Ebertin).

Two Solar Eclipses of Note - One Conjunct Midas in Taurus!

Finally, you see his Prenatal Solar Eclipse ('PE') @18Tau22 penned in the center of the chart with its difficult 4 North themes of 'restraint, restriction, illusions, misjudgments'. Then on October 2, 2024, the (unaspected = self-absorbed in his private inner world) Neptune of Clarence Thomas will be spotlighted, perhaps revealed, by a Solar Eclipse @10Lib03 manifesting in the 8 South Saros Series with themes of: 'separation; loss; sad partings; overstraining one's strength; best to avoid strenuous physical activity until the influences pass' (paraphrasing B. Brady). Thanks to gaslighting Neptune, facts will continue to be difficult to discover but rather easy to veil. Yet the search must go on and indictments must be filed! However, impeaching a SCOTUS justice may be one of those squishy endeavors that Neptune prefers to erode and undermine into oblivion - 'as if it never happened'.

And we know that on political and legal levels, this particular manifestation of an 8 South Eclipse happens to be the Prenatal Solar Eclipse of Election 2024 and of Inauguration 2025, meaning that the two political events take place under the 'wild card' influences of an 8 South Eclipse in Venus-ruled Libra, sign of relationships and of the Scales of Justice. This cosmic circumstance calls for fairplay and cooperation in order for karmic progress to be made.

Horoscope: Election 2024 Solar Eclipse

Below is an image of the DC Horoscope of the 8 South Solar Eclipse which perfects on October 2, 2024 @10Lib03:48 and acts as the Prenatal Eclipse ('PE') of the 2024 Presidential Election. You'll find 8 South thematic influences listed, below. As you see, the chart is unmarked as per reader request (meaning that no astro-notes are scribbled on by yours truly - so you're almost completely on your own for the most part) and is set for Washington DC USA 2:49:01 pm EDT with 16Cap21 rising and 9Sco35 at Midheaven ('MC'; the Goal Point). This eclipse times, as it happens, what is basically a Lunar Return to the Inauguration 2017 Moon position (9Sco21), and as such, may not be a positive portent in 2024 for lovers of democracy.

Meanwhile, Saturn Rx rules the eclipse chart Ascendant and makes no applying aspects although there is a Venus-Saturn trine as part of a protective Water Grand Trine with Mars, suggesting a closed circuit of energies with karmic implications. However, a chart-ruler retrograde suggests delays and obstacles, things that old man Saturn is often 'in the bag for'. How the cosmic relationships of the trio might interfere with the results of the 2024 Election remains to be seen, but this reminds me of voter suppression and its unfair (erroneous) effects upon outcomes. So it seems that a Saturnian authority figure is beneficial to Venus and Mars yet there are delays involved. And 1st house Pluto at a critical 29th degree rises so we may not have to wait long once the eclipse energies kick in. But will transformative events relating to Pluto's power, control, manipulation, and wealth be too big to handle? An additional factor is that this position of eclipse Pluto conjoins America's Progressed Pluto position of 29Cap28, and '30Cap' = "Directors of a Large Firm Meet in Secret Conference" - and I'm sure they do and they will:

8 South Themes: 'separation and loss; partings; feeling sad about a completion; overstraining one's strength, injury possible' (paraphrasing B. Brady).

With a solar eclipse in Venus-ruled Libra, relationships, partnerships, and alliances are in the 'cosmic blink' spotlight; for karmic progress, fairplay, cooperation, and impartiality are required, while negative Venusian traits are best avoided such as insincerity, indecisiveness, spinelessness, and/or overindulgence; karmic ties with others are also part of the Libran lunation picture and at MC may harken back to that 2017 Inaugural Moon and its Sabian Symbol, "10Scorpio: "A Fellowship Supper Awakens Unforgettable Inner Ties". Ruh roh.

Of course, Venus here is in intense, passionate, betrayal-prone Scorpio, plus, both the planet and the sign relate to finances, currency, evaluation, and valuable items such as art or jewelry (and romance). Envy, jealousy, and possessiveness may be triggered by Venus at Goal Point while she opposes and rules the Taurean IC; eclipse Venus also rules radical anarchist Uranus Rx @26Tau51 - conjunct the vengeful star of rage and destruction, Algol. Herr Trump's disturbing involvement is suggested since Algol conjoins his natal MC, and because his 10th house Uranus, planet of chaos, revolt, and quirky cantankerousness is his guiding planet (aka, 'oriental' = last to rise before his natal Sun). Therefore, Uranus in intolerant, often greedy Taurus looks like the Uranian Tr*mp to me. Disagree as you wish but there it is.

As for major aspects to the Solar Eclipse, Mars @15Can46 squares the 8 South lunation suggesting those who overreact and rebel belligerently, and who misuse physical energies. And as you know, Mars in Moon-ruled Cancer tends toward emotional touchiness, anger, and rash actions. Positively, the Martian energy can be channeled into higher levels of motivation and action and this must be consciously done if the square is to block the negative themes of the 8 South Eclipse of 2024 while providing the dynamic energy to do so. Yet I'd be remiss not to mention that Mars @15Can46 in the eclipses's 6th house of Military, Police, Civil Service, Employment, and Health conjoins the natal Ascendant of the Pentagon (15Can34).

In addition, there's a significant minor aspect to the eclipse as well: a sesqui-square (135 degrees) from erratic Uranus which adds tangled complexity to conditions and events and contains a health connotation. Mercury conjunct the eclipse is also is a health indicator but its conjunction requires that logic, reasoning, and attention to detail be used in order for best results to occur.

2024: A Pivotal Year for America

For future reference, this is merely a quick posting of the DC Horoscope of the next Jupiter-Uranus Conjunction of April 20, 2024 @21Tau 49:48 set for Washington DC. The word picture for "22Taurus" = "A White Dove Over Troubled Waters" which can be either a positive or negative indicator with motive being the deciding factor.

Yet as I type, society is now in the final or third stage of the current Jupiter-Uranus cycle which actually sported an extended three-fer time frame for Jupiter-Uranus issues beginning in June 2010 (conjunct the Cardinal Aries Point), September 2010 @28Pis43, and January 4, 2011 @27Pis02. Obviously, these conjunctions occurred during the presidency of Barack Obama.

Listed on the chart, lower left, are a few of the potentials for the combined energies of expansive Jupiter, the Great Benefic, and progressive if radical Uranus such as: freedom issues, group causes, and/or activities within the realms of Technology, Finance, (Politics), or Astrology, with possible breakthroughs and discoveries in Science, Medicine, or Exploration as typical outcomes. In money sign Taurus, Jupiter reaches for financial security and can be wasteful, while erratic Uranus there suggests unusual methods of gaining money, risky speculation, and/or a potential for disruptive earth changes:

Also, a few notes are penned on the chart concerning this Conjunction's Prenatal Solar Eclipse Series ('PE'), the 8 North Eclipse of April 8, 2024 which is the third 'Great American Eclipse' with its Path of Totality dividing America from the Southwest to the Northeast this time (last time in August 2017, from Oregon to South Carolina). 'Flashes of genius', 'good ideas', and 'visions' may occur under 8 North eclipses.

Also listed, upper right, is the PE of the 2024 Presidential Election; its PE @10Lib03 falls within the difficult 8 South Series of 'loss and separation' (B. Brady). As you see in this chart, Jupiter's conjunction with Uranus is the only aspect made by chart-ruler Jupiter which also rules the 4th cusp via the watery sign of Pisces. You'll note a difficult Mars-Saturn conjunction at IC along with fixed star Achernar with its keywords suggesting "crisis at the end of the river" and/or "the risk of rapid endings." Meanwhile, the Sun-Pluto square reveals someone with a "might makes right" attitude along with a deep craving for power.

Evidence of "The Big Lie" from 2016 and Beyond

Is planet Neptune in Shady Pisces "The Big Lie"?

A few days ago when Can Astrology Show the GOP's "Turning Point"? was published here on SO'W concerning Rep. Liz Cheney's recent WaPo op-ed about the GOP's "turning point" from conservatism in favor of Trump's delusion of "The Big Lie," two progressed horoscopes were included which revealed that yes, the Republican Party (1854) does currently have "turning point" YOD patterns in both progressed charts, one with US Saturn (14Lib48) at apex and clear-eyed Saturn the planet of reality, truth, fact, and karma.

The subtitle of the above-linked post relates directly to the focus of today's offering: 'Hey Liz! Some Say the GOP's "Turning Point" Occurred Way Back in 2016!'. Now it's true that a case can be made for June 2015 when Tr*mp officially threw his red cap into the presidential ring, but let's take a look back to 2016 via the lens of Astrology to find "Big Lie" indications in real time, the real time of 2016 through the auspices of a certain 19 North Solar Eclipse.

For on September 1, 2016, a Solar Eclipse @9Virgo manifested in the 19 North Saros Series (family) with themes of: 'realism; coming down to earth; becoming aware of an old situation and seeing it for what it is rather than what he or she thought it was; a constructive time for tackling the truth' (paraphrasing Brady's Predictive Astrology #ad).

Dual DC Horoscopes: Inauguration 2017 and Inauguration 2021

Note gaseous Neptune in Pisces in 11th house opposing the 19 North Eclipse in 5th house (across the self-will axis) in the lower left Horoscope of Inauguration 2017. Eclipses are, as usual, penned on charts as 'PE' (Prenatal Eclipses).

So as you see, what made the 2016 repetition of a realism-promoting 19 North eclipse significant and inspired the misdirection of its honest energies was the Saturnian fact that transit Neptune in its own sign of shady, secretive Pisces directly opposed the eclipse and made the finding, uncovering, and speaking of truth highly challenging if not impossible for a time. Add to this the facts that the 19 North eclipse of 2016 occurred during Campaign 2016 (so full of lies, liars, and Neptunian confusion and delusion!) and is the series that affected (or dare I say was responsible for) Election 2016 and Inauguration 2017. So perhaps you agree that the atmosphere in the US of fact vs fantasy closely describes the White House residency of Donald Tr*mp, born under a deceptive Mercury-Neptune square (from Cancer to Libra) which just keeps on misperceiving and lying, even to himself. Yep, add such unfortunate energies from early parental input and The Prevaricator has become a fantasist extraordinaire, a veritable lie factory! Would you dare to say he's The Father of Lies?

Well, unfortunately, the former guy's fantasies are continuing to bedevil US society and The Gullible among us well into 2021 and beyond and they form the basis for donations to the orange one, plus, lawsuits, recounts, and voter suppression laws in various states written and passed under the Neptunian guise of "securing" future elections. Translation: assuring Republican "victories" because their draconian policies can't win with a majority of the American people which makes cheating the GOP's only recourse for grasping power. News Flash: cheating isn't winning, it's stealing.

And of course, when the Republican Party formed in 1854, Neptune in mid-Pisces was at or very near the "A Lady in FOX Fur" degree (my BOLD). Now as you know, early on the most prominent mouthpiece for GOP lies was, of course, Fox 'News' but now they have other propaganda platforms from which to spout falsehoods and Tr*mp's "Big Lie" in order to fuel his and the GOP's sordid attempt to coup the White House (again!) or least to make a 2024 presidential bid seem plausible and justified to the cult followers that agent orange constantly fleeces. This way, he hasn't completely lost the White House as his lucrative cash cow!

To close this fussy post, a few details concerning dubious Neptune afflicting a solar eclipse include conditions of chaos and confusion, states of tension and deception, people being pulled between reality and illusion/truth and fallacy, and a need for Saturnian objectivity if any karmic progress at all is to be made. Hopefully, our society is better situated in 2021 (with the former guy scheming in Florida) to see things and people for what they really are (come on Trump supporters!) so that criminals will be held accountable and justice on behalf of the American people will at last be served.

Inauguration 2025 Horoscope: Cowboys and Tyranny

December 8, 2020: Here you see the DC Horoscope of Inauguration 2025 published with a sprinkling of hope that there may actually be one. Please enlarge the image to read my study notes if you wish; brief chart details are added below:

Horoscope: January 20, 2025 12:00 pm est Capitol Building Washington DC; Hour of Venus (@17Pis38 conjunct Saturn in 11th house of Groups and Associations: discontent?); Final Dispositor Neptune in Pisces conjunct 12th cusp; North Node @29Pis08 conjunct star of misfortune, Scheat, in 12th house of Karma; 12th house Chiron conjunct determined Sisyphus opposes the 6th house Moon @18Lib31 (conjunct Trump's natal Jupiter). Sun in the public 10th house (of course) with powerful manipulator Pluto @1AQ41 suggesting a Pluto-to-Sun transit has occurred which can motivate those in power to make a new start with ego as the primary motivation. Obviously, the US Pluto Return has completed previously (3x in 2022) and some evidence of authoritarianism is a potential with its handmaiden tyranny doing its part when necessary. For now I'll reserve my thoughts on the significance of only the Sun (POTUS) and Pluto (hidden manipulator) alone together in the political 10th house of this chart.

And since an Oath of Office is involved, check out 9th house Mercury @18Cap15, the position of the 'NWO' planets Uranus and Neptune when they met three times in 1993. Potentials are penned on the chart. Also note that Mercury opposes testy Mars Rx (at IC) @24Can23 conjunct the Syzygy Moon, the previous Full Moon (@23Can59, January 13, 2025), plus, Mars by transit conjuncts US natal Mercury in the Siby chart suggesting a fast pace of life and lots of verbal combat. (Hopefully anarchist Mars doesn't represent Mars-rising Trump still hanging around!) And you know the Sabian Symbol for '25 Cancer': "A Man Wrapped in an Invisible Mantle of Power," plus, US natal Pluto sits atop the Midheaven, aka, the Goal Point.

So we have issues of power, surveillance ('AI' - see Mercury), hidden control, and an iffy National Treasury with banker-general-politician-reverend-actor-broadcaster planet Jupiter Rx conjunct 2nd cusp (12:39) along with asteroid Midas @12:39. As you see, Jupiter here rules the corporate 8th house of debt, credit, and Shared Resources, plus 12th house via its Pisces cusp. Evaluating Venus, another money planet, is in shady Pisces, ruled by Jupiter, co-ruled by nebulous Neptune, so speculation, grand schemes, and currency issues are, as usual, involved. Additionally, this inauguration occurs during a Jupiter-Saturn square denoting a period of moral and/or ethical conflicts prominent within the public discourse.

Now the Solar Eclipse themes running in the backround of society are difficult issues of loss, separation, and possible injury (penned on the chart, 6th house, between South Node and the Moon, with the Libra/Aries polarity karmically intercepted across the 6-12).

Update August 4, 2021: I neglected to add to this post that "Cowboys" is a reference to the Splay shape of the planets in the eclipse horoscope, above, and its (rugged) individualism, within which should be included the 'up-by-boot-straps' self-reliance of America's 'cowboy ethic' that Reagan promoted and actor John Wayne demonstrated on film along with the other 'cowboy' movie and tv stars promoting superficial symbols of the concept. # UPDATE June 2, 2022: it has been pointed out that the above Inauguration Horoscope shows not a Splay shape (as my Solar Fire v9 software says) but a more concentrated BUCKET shape with the 6th house Moon as Handle, the point of focus; disturbingly, the Moon @18Libra conjuncts the natal Jupiter of Herr Tr*mp which reflects what could be an anti-democracy event - happy for him, his duped voters, and corporate enablers, tragic for the future of a free America.

Meanwhile, the cosmic weather on January 20, 2025 may be partially described by the double Air (mental) combination of Sun AQ-Moon Libra, a sociable and idealistic blend of energies. Tolerance and dignity are suggested along with social awareness yet to be effective, leadership must get involved with the practical considerations of others - of The People. If effectiveness is what is wanted, that is. Concerns will include issues of individualism and independent thought which are supported by the Splay shape of planets indicating those who promote the rugged 'cowboy ethic'. This blend is shared natally by Burt Reynolds, Edouard Manet, and author Boris Pasternak who helpfully asserted,
