Our Federal City: External Forces May 2025

The accurately timed Freemasonic cornerstone laying ceremony of the Federal City aka, Washington DC, makes an intriguing historical horoscope which we considered in a January 4, 2015 SO'W post.

With data gleaned from David Ovason's book, The Secret Architecture of Our Nation's Capital (#ad), historical details abound such as the Federal City's cornerstone laying by Freemason George Washington sporting his Masonic apron and trowel on April 21, 1791 "at precisely 3:30 pm Local Time," with Jupiter rising.

Washington's friend, Andrew Ellicott (b. January 24, 1754 Bucks Co, PA), descended from a line of astronomers and was considered the "most brilliant civil engineer in the colonies." In fact, Ellicott was chosen in 1790 to survey the land for the City's construction.

DC Horoscope: Spring Equinox 2021 (aka, Aries Ingress 2021)

Below is my version of the Spring Equinox 2021 Horoscope set for Washington DC, March 20th 5:37:25 am edt with Ascendant @21AQ02 and Jupiter in Aquarius rising which inspired the chart's (and season's) title, "A Sense of Social Justice".

This particular entry to SO'W is sort of an 'early bird' post with only basic study notes penned upon the chart for those who may wish to enlarge the image and view them; this cosmic event falls into the 4 South Saros Series which manifests on December 14, 2020 @23Sag08 (this chart in 10th house), the Series or family of solr eclipses in effect until the next Solar Eclipse @20Gemini in the 5 North Series on June 10, 2021 (or up until about two weeks prior so its effects may begin to be felt in late May 2021):

Jupiter stations @13Lib12 conjunct America's natal Saturn (14Lib48) denoting a partial lifting of restrictions and/or responsibilities, and the potential for reward or recognition given for hard work and careful planning.

The current Cardinal T-Square's midpoint pictures with Pluto apex suggest potentials for: a sudden change in financial conditions, extreme efforts to produce change, people who tackle large projects or enterprises, and the really big picture (Ebertin; Munkasey; Tyl).
