A new week has begun with Sunday being the first day of the week although most folk return to work on Mondays as if it's the first day of the week. The following Max Igan presentation is a tremendously powerful way to start this new week so I hope you gain from watching the film but mostly from hearing it:

Does it ever occur to you that if the people and organizations who control the majority of the money and treasure on this planet didn't want children to starve to death, we'd live in a world where children do not starve to death. Needed medicines, treatment, and therapy would be available for the ill and the injured, no matter the country, region, or politics.

Of course, this can be applied to all the good works we can think of as the greedy reptilian overlords exploit everything and everyone to their selfish advantage. They even have a 'master plan' to rule the entire globe written by their favorite demon spirit (who's already lost the contest!) Now we could say, how cute! to bolster their self-esteem but really it would be better to jettison them all from government--end the infestation of our institutions. Let bankers be bankers and financiers be financiers! Let politicians--well, there's little hope for the ones who think their job description includes surreptitious pocket-lining. Even so, this long term Utopian plan to depopulate the Earth and take control by creating havoc and fomenting chaos has gotta stop. You're embarrassing yourselves, dear little cabal heads.

Mon petit chou chou! Oh wait. That's little cabbage head. Oh well. Close enough.

Why do we allow ourselves to be "ruled"? I love it when Max says, "The powers that believe they be":

A "guiding hand"? A hidden hand? In Astrology, that would be Pluto.

"Slipping into fiction"? Sounds like Neptune's influence and the murky one's 'silver screen' of illusion and deception...how appropriate to post this video on the evening of the Academy Awards in Hollywood, California.

Max also addresses the public's fear of speaking out against the system--a province of astrological Saturn--the austere, paternal planet that strongly evinced its influence upon the Collective today turning Rx in Mars-Pluto-ruled Scorpio, another significator of the hidden hand.

As a US government shutdown looms large, Stars Over Washington has to wonder if the stars will dim tonight over our nation's capital at 12:01 am edt. Both sides will look bad in this stalemate though which party takes most of the blame remains to be seen. Republicans adding social issues to the budget agreement seems calculated to guarantee a shutdown since the GOP knows the Dems won't accept its passage with such controversial riders attached.

Plus, the upcoming debt limit debate seems stalemated before it gets a good start.

Astrologically Speaking

Can the current Mercury retrograde period have something to do with the impasse? Mercury rules agreements, bills, voting, orating, thinking, planning, and all manner of things which are intricately involved in the situation as Washington moons we-the-people and acts out like unruly children.

Yet Mercury won't make a Direct Station and change directions until Saturday April 23 and then must leave its shadow (May 11) before mercurial things can really move forward again. Well, Mercury did turn Rx at a critical-crisis degree (click for my notes on Mercury's schedule.)

So now I sit here typing and wondering - both noble mercurial pursuits - why in the last couple of weeks or so, the page views for SO'W have quadrupled and then some. That any of my posts could receive thousands of views in one 24-hour period is gratifying of course, if true, so yesterday I took time to add up pvs of individual posts. As expected, they did not add up to the total...not even close.

Then is SO'W under hack attack? Or is increased readership good news for my 6 years of blogging here? Mercury is the planet of Good News, after all, and rules my natal Ascendant and Midheaven.

Well, if the page view increase is for real, perhaps it's due to a blog link a kind person added to a forum on Planet Waves, an brilliant Astrology site containing much astro-info from expert astrologer Eric Francis and friends.

That, possible Blogger miscounting, or hacking are the 3 best explanations I can think of for this mysterious uppage of SO'W's readership. And this is where in my text a bemused 'head scratch' should be inserted...

Between FDR's New Deal programs and LBJ's Great Society leveling, something had to be done to stop the redistribution of wealth!

Plutocratic Pluto-Chiron's oppression, racism, and class warfare have reached scandalous heights. Their conjunction of Dec 30, 1999 was at "11Sag" and there are interesting insights on this degree by Lynda Hill in her book, 360 Degrees of Wisdom which help to describe what I've been barkin' about with the Democratic-Republican melding from which we and the truth suffer--also described by the Great Conjunction of Jupiter (Rs) with Saturn (Ds) on May 28, 2000.

But here are some details from Lynda's book concerning "11Sag"...

Light workers; grounding reality (double Saturn); concentrating on physical needs; connecting the right and left sides (very descriptive.)

"Light workers" reminds me of The Fellowship, the secret 'Christian' society that Cheney, both Bushes, Rove, Condi Rice, and many others whose names you know, are associated with and which has squirelly relations with all manner of groups and people who aren't on the side of the common man or woman..and don't mind a little mayhem and murder for the cause. The ends justify the means crowd, a la Machiavelli.

And remember the much-touted Y2K flap at the end of the 90s and into 2000? It had such PROMIS, didn't it?
