Deepak Chopra blames US for Mumbai: video and text

India's Leaders Need to Look Closer to Home: The Assault on Mumbai

By Tariq Ali

Why should it be such a surprise if the perpetrators are themselves Indian Muslims? Its hardly a secret that there has been much anger within the poorest sections of the Muslim community against the systematic discrimination and acts of violence carried out against them.

US is Funding Terrorism: Deepak Chopra Blames Washington For Mumbai Terrorist Attacks~~Video and Text~~

Chopra: What we have seen in Mumbai has been brewing for a long time, and the war on terrorism and the attack on Iraq compounded the situation. What we call "collateral damage" and going after the wrong people actually turns moderates into extremists, and that inflammation then gets organized and appears as this disaster in Bombay.

But to step back just an inch from the views expressed by Tariq Ali and Deepak Chopra by use of Astrology, stirring pots and encouraging chaos is what we see all over the globe.

Falling for the script of the one-world-government types is a bad idea for all sides replete with "collateral damage," a vicious and cold-hearted term if there ever was one, and all sides are using it as part of their cynical strategy.

To me it seems like an 'oops! you got in my way, too bad for you' way of plowing through. And Machiavelli would be chuckling proudly over Mumbai and other terroisms although they deny him as their muse.

Hegel and Hitler would light their third cigars if they weren't long gone; Albert Pike manages to simper in his mausoleum while texting Jacques Demolay the news.

Last I heard, Sir Francis Bacon hasn't agreed to be dead yet.

L'oppression du jour just keeps coming, however, for there's Old Leo Strauss and Mr. Lenin partying on down with Stalin and the Kremlin boys, while every one's favorite assassin is drinking tea in an opium den somewhere (but still able to function, if needed. For a price.)

Yes, it's a joyous season down in the bowels of the Underworld with vast amounts of misery being brung - no matter which faction you frequent, nor which obsession you cravenly indulge...because there's something in Hades-Super-Psycho-Land for everybody.

Access is totally open, too. First, finagle your passport by simply listening to your lower, reptilian mind as you give in to the devouring spirit's promptings to harm your fellow man. Then, pretend that reaping what you sow doesn't apply to you.

Blaming America is the popular sentiment just now, but that doesn't make it true or false.

Terrorists don't have to have a religious underpining. They could be a tool, a rabble-rousing psychotic group, a left-behind gaggle.

But look how the world's attention has been focused on them. What is going on while we are watching the debacle?

Just a thought.
We did attack Iraq. No getting around that. Whatever the reasons, that is what we did. Other countries around the world are not easily swayed by this. It is easy to say America did it, whatever the evil "it" is.

When the war on Iraq was being pushed didn't you find yourself asking "what are they doing?" "What in the world is wrong with the American people that they are dumbed down enough to think this is a good idea?"

I wondered then about the "koolaid" they had swallowed and in a way it worries me about Obama, because folks who have bought in to him seem just as unreasonable about any other choice or idea. Just because he is popular doesn't mean he is a new god or right all the time. It's as if reason, clear vision has been spread with glue. Distorted. Trapped. The need to put him in a place of savior is too great. We are usually disappointed when we do this and the archetype of this position is almost certain destruction. It's as if he can't have it both ways. He can't be the only pure one, without being knocked down.

And I think we need something different than potentially false hope. We need truer Capricorn changes now. Something solid, useful, spelled out and Truman-esque.

So I watch with jaundiced eye.
Hope with a child's heart.
And keep stayin’ alive.

Thank you, Donna! ;p

Yes, this tendency of so many to place BHO's pedestal inhumanly high is asking for trouble and more disillusionament...Saturn to US natal Neptune, the 'grim reality' transit is on the way.

It never seemed the way to go (to me) for the US to invade Iraq (or Afghanistan - bin Laden --if Bush-Cheney had actually wanted to catch him -- would've done better as a manhunt, not an invasion of a whole country that the Soviets couldn't 'tame' 20 years before...history's lessons denied make stupid politicians with a larger agenda they ain't tellin'!

And I agree with what you say about terroists whose larger plan is more gangster-related than honorably principled.

I just know that the utter destruction of Iraq and the ensuing immigration, death, destruction of families is utterly the deepest and the lowest-please a country that used the only nuclear weapon ever used on unarmed people and then destroyed an unarmed country 50 years later is guilty plain and true and I do beleive that we are looking into a karmic adjustment.
I don't believe that Obama is our savior I did fall in love with him after some of his speeches particuarly the one addressing race but I am almost 62 I don't believe in saviors anymore. I did hope for more than what we are getting but hell the Dems have sold us out too in order to make their families wealthy and to get their children in the best schools. As far as I see most of the Dems are New World Order members and we are dangling out here sweeping up after them wondering why our children never hear about the struggles of the early 20th century that gave us a 40 hour work week, overtime, and the right to form unions.
Despite this I am grateful for the society I have but I expect more from us and I will not accept that we did the best we could here. No we haven't.

Hear hear clymela - you haven't reached 62 without gaining a tremendous depth of insight!

Seems like everyone is a tool for other peoples' interests, or they're seeking toolship. And blackmail is, as always, in widespread use to control those who think about stepping away from the script.

The American people have been goofed into thinking they are split down the middle or thereabouts, but this is fallacy...

Unless and until we realize our strength in numbers, we have no chance of squirming free of tthe tentacles of the optopus from the Underworld.

Even then it will be a struggle and a half.

Perhaps i express myself fancifully, perhaps not.

Any way...

clymela, your observations are alaways welcome - even if it concerns America's 'karmic retribution' which can be added to our Sec Progr'd Full Moon at C'mas 2008...the light will be waning, it's true, but what we are intrinsically must be the 1st consideration.

That the Bush-Cheney Gang has layed America low in every department you can name (including our now-empty coffers) is a wake up call not to turn our backs on political thespians ever again...but what do you think are the chances we-the-people would take that prudent course?
