'DC Madam' an apparent suicide

July 17, 2025: Here's my original post concerning the mysterious death of "DC Madam" Deborah Jeane Palfrey with a few edits and code improvements for the sake of clarity; a previously included news link is no longer available so I deleted it, and related horoscopes are added below for the curious reader:

A headline back then read, Alleged Call Girl Professor Hanged Self Jan 30, 2007:

A former university professor accused of working as a call girl hanged herself over the weekend, police said Monday. Brandy Britton was found dead at her home Saturday by a family member. Britton, who was a sociology and anthropology professor at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, was charged a year ago with four counts of prostitution and was scheduled to go on trial next Monday.

Police: 'DC Madam' Palfrey Hanged Self in FL May 1, 2008:

Deborah Jeane Palfrey, convicted last month of running a high-end prostitution service in Washington DC, hanged herself in a shed outside her mother's mobile home in Florida today, officials said. Authorities were called today to the Sun Valley Estates Mobile Home Park in Tarpon Springs, Fla., by Blanche Palfrey, who found her daughter's body hanging by a nylon rope shortly before 11 a.m., Tarpon Springs police Capt. Jeffrey P. Young said at a news conference. He said Deborah Palfrey left at least two suicide notes, but he declined to discuss their contents.

Well, I remember this case and that Deborah Jeane had reportedly said to journalist Dan Moldea, with whom she was working on a book that, "I am not going back to prison. I will commit suicide first."

Funny that I just finished reading Robert Blaschke's Earthwalk Astrology Newletter concerning the semiseptile phase of Uranus/Neptune and its Information Age connections that began with the Uran/Nep Conjunctions of 1993 (Feb 2, Aug 20, and Oct 24) as the tech revolution for the masses took hold of our brain waves.

The semiseptile is an aspect of the 14th Harmonic issuing from the H7 = spiritual awareness. And Robert Blaschke asserts that the Information Age is proving to be an empty disappointment for most people--"illusions weaved with modern technology" or, in astrologese--Neptune + Uranus.

Then I find the above article on how we Americans fall into which category of 'user' based on the Pew survey...the whole thing sounds addictive when you put it that way, doesn't it? How many spouses have complained of such in recent years?

Sounds like Neptune is up to its usual tricks--negative escapism vs true spirituality!
