Two Potential Birth Times for Former Candidate Palin

The great state of Alaska's former governor, the know-nothing presidential candidate Sarah Palin, is featured in an Andy Borowitz clip which may provide a tickle for your funny bone. In the clip, Andy labels Ms. Palin the "gateway idiot that lead to Donald Trump." Chosen in 2008 as VP pick of John McCain, Palin gained national notoriety for standing next to John McCain onstage and for having only a threadbare knowledge base necessary for success and longevity upon the top rungs of US politics.

Well, knowledge was once a virtue for US politicians

Admittedly, there may be more information than anyone could possibly need concerning Sarah Palin on her Wikipedia page but do check it out if you wish. Meanwhile, if Andy Borowitz's assessment of Ms. Palin's influence is correct, her off-the-wall 2008 candidacy opened the door and cleared the path to the current threat of neo-fascism now promised for America by a second term of reality TV "star", Herr Trump, a man determined to take revenge for his grievances upon the American people (his rising Mars in Leo opposes 1776 US Moon in late Aquarius: conflict, attack, aggression).

And yes, prior to Palin in 2008, B-actor Ronald Reagan (Sun AQ-Moon Taurus) rang the Republican doorbell for the ill-governing politicians who followed.

Here's a quote from an archived Robert Parry article: "In the early 1980s, Reagan also credentialed a young generation of neocon intellectuals, who pioneered a concept called “perception management,” the shaping of how Americans saw, understood and were frightened by threats from abroad." And for a percentage of the population, this tactic has been successful, hasn't it? Yet nowadays with fantasist Trump, the threat is coming from inside the house.

So no matter which of the two birth times we use for Sarah Palin's natal chart, she was born with an airy, quirky, eccentric Sun AQ-Moon AQ personality blend which is good for politics, but can also indicate one who overidentifies with causes (obessession is suggested). And curiously enough, this is also the double-Air personality blend of President William McKinley!

Today, September 6, 2023, in commemoration of the 122nd anniversary of the Assassination of President William McKinley, may he R.I.P., you'll find, below, his 1897 Inauguration Horoscope with planetary contacts from the 'Shot' Horoscope of September 6, 1901 in bi-wheel form and in dual chart form.

As an organist played a Bach sonata, on September 6, 1901 the Assassination of President William McKinley was perpetrated in Buffalo, New York at the Pan American Exposition's Temple of Music and resulted in the Secret Service (created by President Lincoln), being tasked by 1902 with protecting the president, a primary task of the agency today.

Born in Niles, Ohio on January 29, 1843, William McKinley, Jr (R-OH) was a pious Methodist, our 25th POTUS, and our 3rd assassinated president after Lincoln and Garfield, a very dubious 'honor' to be sure. Mr. McKinley was inaugurated on March 4, 1897 (horoscope shown, below).

Warning against "foreign interventions" in his lengthy Inaugural Address, McKinley had just led the US through the Spanish-American War and was the most popular POTUS the America people had had in decades when he was shot and subsequently died in Buffalo, NY at the 1901 World's Fair.

And yes, I believe that we were 'lied into war' (explosion of the USS Maine in Havana Harbor - probably from a boiler explosion, not sabotage by Spain) but a gullible public didn't realize it back in the day. Predictably, US imperialism was served and no doubt territorial expansion under President McKinley allowed war profiteers to make themselves bundles of cash and plunder. It's the same old American story. Can we see it now?

First, here is a view of my 4:07 pm version of "McKinley Shot" September 6, 1901 Buffalo, NY, with my usual messy notes penned on- as you see, a dynamic T-Square full of danger points toward the Sun (leadership) in Virgo, sign of the abdomen:

(Rated: A from news reports) Alternately, you can check out the McKinley Assassination Horoscope which is set for "shortly after 4:00 pm LMT" although, as noted, my sources give the moment of the shooting as 4:07 pm; I use this timing for the horoscope you see, above, because rising at 4:07 pm is McKinley's natal Saturn @19Cap24; at 4:00 pm rising is 17Cap30 which is okay, too). Note that William McKinley's natal planets are highlighted in blue and I hope you can read them. A few details on his assassin are located lower left corner including his natal T-Square with his Mars @5Scorpio at apex. Therefore, the position of 1901 Mars (4Sco01) was nearly a Mars Return for the assassin, and transit Mars 'triggered' the anarchist's T-Square into taking action.

As shown in the depiction, above, President McKinley as shot twice by anarchist-steel worker Leon Czolgosz on September 6, 1901 4:07 pm at the Pan American Exposition (World's Fair) in the Temple of Music ('crime scene' photo, above), President McKinley was rushed to an on-site hospital and operated on by the only doctor they could find - a gynocologist. But as you know, his wounds became infected, turned gangrenous, and he died at 2:15 am on Saturday September 14, 1901.

February 19, 2020 Democrats Debate in Las Vegas

For the cable-TV challenged, here's a link to the MSNBC Live Stream of tonight's Democratic Primary Debate at 9:00 pm (est) in Las Vegas, Nevada. As you've heard, candidate Michael Bloomberg has qualified (purchased) to be on the stage tonight so it should be quite a slug-fest--between Democrats.

And so, in the realms of Astrology we find that both media-lovers are wealth-driven, ruthless, and vindictive which to me would seem rather an equal match-up in November if Democratic voters will give Bloomberg's past flaws and mistakes a pass. After all, Trump gets many such a passes every single day from his supporters and from the complicit Republicans who helped create the orange monster so why not the less objectionable Mikey B?

But as for tonight's pivotal political performance, we know that Mr. Bloomberg hasn't debated anyone since 2009 during a NYC mayoral race so we'll see how this slug-fest proceeds on this important night for Michael Bloomberg and his 2020 candidacy which, if nominated and victorious, may result in the American people trading one money-laundering oligarch with imperial dreams for another one (who's similar but not in every way). Of course, debates are the province of communicator Mercury now Rx in Pisces and conjoining Bloomberg's natal South Node which suggests temporary potentials for original ideas, expressing ideas that are ahead or behind the times, stolen ideas, and/or, that when he speaks no one listens!

And with the Debate Sun so recently entering the sign of Pisces (February 18 at 11:57 pm est) and tonight's Moon in Saturn-ruled Capricorn, a famous quote from a Founding Father, our first President George Washington (whose natal personality blend this is!) seems appropriate:

"Associate yourself with men of good quality if you esteem your own reputation; for 'tis better to be alone than in bad company." Perhaps tonight mention will be made of Trump's tendency to surround himself with fellow criminals, both imprisoned and on the loose--and with sleazy men of low character. Birds of a feather.
