Will Greece leave EU as Venus Transits Sun?

When Venus transits or occults (like a little black speck) our solar system's Sun, associations and alliances which aren't quite normal or usual tend to be formed as has been noted since Venus Transits were recorded. Thirty-one years ago, on January 1, 1981, Greece joined the EU and Constantine Karamanlis stated that Greeks were being "called to build the new Europe."

He believed, or propagandized that he believed, that "the unification of Europe will be the greatest political event in the history of our continent. For it will stabilise relations between the powers of the world, it will guarantee Europe's independence and contribute to the strengthening of world order and peace." (My italics.)

Wow! There was a lot riding on Greece's entry into the EU though the part about "world order" kind of gives the game away, doesn't it? Tsk on these eternal Utopians and their Great Plan for Global Domination! The EU has been a 'new world order' experiment on a grand scale but cracks are showing.

Plus, if you believe in Bible prophecy such as that found in Daniel and Revelation, you may remember King Nebuchadezzar's dream which Daniel, through God's inspiration, interpreted for him as being "a great image" with a head of fine gold, breast and arms of silver, belly and thighs of brass, legs of iron, and feet part of iron and of clay. (Daniel 2:31-33.)

My studies indicate that the image's feet of iron and clay represent the kingdoms of the European continent after the break-up of the Roman Empire, and to the King Daniel declared, "They shall not cleave to one another, even as iron is not mixed with clay."

Yet for centuries powerful men such as Charlemagne, Charles V, Napoleon, Kaiser Wilhelm, Hitler--and the EU boys--have attempted to overthrow Daniel's prophecy by uniting Europe. And in recent decades they've pretended--or convinced themselves--that the feat had been accomplished.

We who now live may not see the break-up of iron and clay--the European Union--or, Greece and perhaps other member nations may fall away right before our very eyes as an expectable result of the current 'European debt crisis' and the vexing, cruel austerity measures which powerful men, who lack for nothing but consciences and compasssion, have now put in place to weed out the populations of Europe.

So this reluctant astrologer is keeping a close watch on the June 5/6, 2012 Venus Transit as a timing mechanism relating to an unusual forming or break-up of association since the 2012 Transit is the 8-years-later companion to that of June 2004, a Venus Transit which also occurred during a much-touted world-leader summit (Sea Island, Georgia) as will this one. And since astrological Venus relates to valuations, money, relationship, and the attraction principle, we shall see if Greece stays in or leaves the EU, their mutual attraction dissolved.

There may be hope for the EU, however, later in the year since the November 13, 2012 Solar Eclipse has a "joy through commitment" flavor which may portend the above-mentioned "strengthening" of the Union, a temporary circumstance at best, no matter how gloriously their and our politicians choose to spin it for their own world order purposes.

Personally I agree with Mr. Farage on many things including that men do seem to find it almost an impossibility to admit it when they are wrong.

Political Astrology speaks on the transits of July 28, 2011 that affected what I call the EU/NWO Flag Unfurled chart of July 14, 1989, a year you'll recognize for its titanic triple conjunction of Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune in structural Capricorn in the 2--10 degree range (natal horoscope w transits shown.)

And if you track powerful manipulator Pluto in Capricorn, you may wish to consider the four midpoint pictures formed with the titanic trio of 1989 as Pluto approaches them and insinuates his invisible self within their midst, and eventually moves beyond them.

All apply to today's world, but the first picture, which has been in force for a while now, tells a major part of the 'United States of Europe' tale on its path toward rebuilding a 'global dominion' (aka, one world government) as the old order is threatened with collapse and ruin to make way for the new.

First, here are the trio's zodiacal positions in the EU Flag July 14, 1989horoscope:

And here's a general look at transit Pluto conjoining each of the Uranus, Saturn, and Neptune trio--I believe that all apply to current conditions:

Pluto to Uranus: the power of government must yield to the people (march on, everyone!); changes affect federal jobs and programs; issues of technological advancement and personal freedom.

Pluto to Saturn: structures and traditions upon which life is based are significantly altered or totally transformed by circumstances; issues of abuse of authority (confrontations), self-discipline, and accepting responsibility; ambition must be tempered with patience, resolve, and control.

Pluto to Neptune: circumstances denote economic, political, social, spiritual, and physical power struggles; social/genetic engineering and civil rights are seen to be moral and religious issues; power becomes an illusion as it is slowly eroded by subversive forces of the power-obsessed plutonians and oligarchs of the world.

So today is October 4, 2011, and tr Pluto @ 5Cap29 is snugged between 1989's Saturn and Uranus which is midpoint #2 above.

Obama presser 6.29.11: Saturn rising

June 29, 2011 White House 11:30 am edt: President Obama holds a news conference to discuss US actions in Libya and the US economy; expected to call for bipartisanship from congressional Republicans and Tea Partisans intent on causing a Democratic president's failure.

With 16 Virgo 09 rising, US natal Neptune 22:25 is first natal planet to rise and as you know, this brings up the president's natal Mars as well. This is the link between the US natal horoscope and President Obama's natal planets which has been previously described on this blog and elsewhere as the 'rock star' effect he enjoyed early on and as a Neptunian veil which prevents the public from seeing his actions and motivations (Mars) in a clear light and creates an aura of glamour (Neptune) to his personality.

With nebulous Neptune, planet of the masses, the media, secrets, compassion, falsehood, and fraud, rising we may not find much relief from the answers heard this morning though some may feel inspired. In Virgo, sign of Work, Employment, and Health, the unemployment rate may be discussed with a potential for fudging the numbers or the solution.

Next to rise from the US chart is Saturn 14Lib48 and at 11:30 am, transiting Saturn 10Lib40 is in 1st house (delays, restriction, contraction, potential for loss - a good description of what's threatened if the US defaults on financial responsibilities, August 2, 2011 being the proposed deadline for compromise on raising of the debt ceiling), the ongoing US Saturn Return (# 3 of 3 hits on August 28, 2011) shows its influence of accountability in the financial life of our nation.

Chart-ruler Mercury 25Can32 (in 11th house of Groups, Associations, Hopes, and Wishes) makes no applying aspects in the 11:30 am chart for the planet of Communications, Trade, and Commerce is entirely unaspected (even to chart angles.)

The unaspected condition makes Mercury's sign, degree, and house position especially important this morning, plus, there's another factor to consider about this Mercury position: a national Mercury Return occurred yesterday (June 28, 2011 @ 5:32 pm edt, ASC 28Sco08 which rises with Fixed Star Ras Alhague: the desire to heal a wound or to create balance. This is President Obama's natal Midheaven, The Goal.)

Now tr SN of the Moon (23Gem28, the Tail of the Dragon) is poised to swipe US natal Mars (22Gem) and here conjoined by tr Venus. Venus to US n Mars indicates people who are highly motivated toward attainment. But what does Washington wish to attain? is always my question.

Money planet (and significator of the GOP) Jupiter 4Tau42 is posited in the 8th house of Credit, Debt, and Shared Resources. Hopefully, its province of The Occult is not involved in these practical, financial considerations but who knows what goes on behind closed doors in our Masonic Capitol Building and White Lodge we popularly call, the White House?

Well, expansive Jupiter is trined by a 4th H Pluto 5Cap10 Rx (1A28) so international bankers may be seen to be at the base of US economic problems including Real Estate
(4th H), as Pluto continues his destructuring and breakdown of Capricornian institutions (law, government, and business.)

Concerning The Occult vibe, it may be interesting to consider here that the enlightened, insightful New World Order planets, Uranus and Neptune, have their powerful midpoint upon the Descendant of the 11:30 am chart (setting) which gives a midpoint picture of Uranus/Neptune = ASC: instability; heightened sensitivity; being sad or depressed with others; wrong ideas. This is the planetary pair whose Great Conjunction/s of 1993 emphasized the Sabian Symbol for '18Cap' = 'The Union Jack': smug or strong-armed paternalism. (Jones.)

Plus, at 17 Pisces, the Uranus/Neptune midpoint at is at a critical or crisis degree. So perhaps it would be instructive to paraphrase the Thesis and Antithesis implications of Uranus/Neptune from Michael Munkasey's Midpoints: Unleashing the Power of the Planets:

Thesis: changes in social and political structure because of new ideals and futuristic dreams; strikes or revolutions focused on new ways of thinking; groups formed to exploit oil or chemical resources.

Antithesis: subversion using new methods of acquiring information; sudden upsurge in illegal drug availability; movements that diminish the power of authority or of police systems.

(With the current upsurge of strong-arm police tactics arresting US citizens exercising their right to free speech and catching police arrests or brutality on cell phone cameras from their front yards, it's difficult to believe that 'police systems' are diminished. Diminished by a lack of moral authority, however, is on display in America along with the subversive spying by the US government on all citizens. The more laws on the books, the more crooked the country. We-the-people have been couped. Plus, 2011's Uranus in Aries is given by Ebertin as: Utopians, relating to that Great Plan for America, Sir Francis Bacon's New Atlantis-world-democracy vision, now being expressed, at least in part, by NWO freaks, totalitarians, and sectarians.)

Other chart factors for today's news conference include:

US natal Sun/Saturn square is echoed in transits for Sun 7Can34 in 10th house of Public Status, is squared by tr Saturn in 1st house, as mentioned. Are Democrats (Saturn) blocking (square) the president's (Sun) initiatives on today's financial and war waging topics? It looks that way though I'll leave it to you to be aware of it or to search for related news links.

So with SN, a separative, Saturnian point, at Mc 14Gem10, we see the 1st house Saturnian issues underscored along with the above mentioned Mars to US n Venus, planet of relationships and evaluations. Mars in 9th H @ 6Gem04 nears the degree of the June 1, 2011 Solar Eclipse 11Gem02 and will trigger its influence. This eclipse falls in the 13 South Saros Series and though I've covered it on this blog previously, I will paraphrase here its flavor from Brady's Predictive Astrology:

13S: expansive, yet sinister energy; frustration, inhibitions, loss, and separation. An element of constitutional crisis may be in evidence and this may describe the current presidential v congressional war powers issues being debate concerning the president's NATO alliance now bombing Libya in an attempt to dislodge dictator Gaddafi.

And what about the Moon (the public)? At 16Gem38 (Gemini: of two minds?) and at 11:30 am, about to cross Midheaven, this Moon conjoins Fixed Star Rigel (ree' gal; a lovely star in the right foot of Orion) whose keyphrase is: to bring knowledge, to teach, and Anthony Louis includes: ambition and luck. Well, the American people could use a boatload of luck just now under the yoke of a divisive, partisan, warmongering, gridlocked Congress. Must we be brought further down economically and socially by selfish politicians intent on recapturing the White House in 2012?

At this point it would seem so and yet I would prefer to think that things can move forward in a more balanced way (rich folk paying their fair share in taxes toward the nation's finances - they who have much being called upon to share - oh my!) if not now, then around the time of tr Mars' return to its position in America's natal horoscope on July 21, 2011 (a new 2-year cycle of activity, including war.)

But with Saturn rising in our Mars Return 2011 chart, Mars and SN conjoined in 9th H (foreign wars and violence), today's Sun position at MC (conj Fixed Star Mirzam, to have one's say, and Mars in semisquare (irritation) to Jupiter (again posited in 8th H of Shared Resources, in DC), what are the odds that our erstwhile denizens of Capitol Hill will cease kicking around the American people's needs like a political football while tarnishing our nation's reputation like its theirs alone to ruin - and all based on a Utopian dream?

Please check out Democracy Now!'s coverage of protests now shutting down Athens Greece occurring today at the barricades of the Greek parliament (about to vote) concerning the extreme, forced austerity measures as the world banking cartel enforces its take-over of the birthplace of democracy. Congress gavels in with Castor rising 2.22.10 + George Washington's natal chart

This afternoon at 2:00 pm est, the US Congress gaveled in after its almost-two-week recess in honor of Presidents Day. If you're like me, no sigh of relief escaped your lips because the pocket-liners were back under the Masonic dome of the Capitol Building but it had to happen, I know, yet what never seems to happen anymore is legislation passed on behalf of the American people.

At 2:00 pm, Capitol Building, the Ascendant degree 18Can15 'brought up' a difficult Fixed Star, Castor 20Can14 (keywords: sudden fame; loss; murder; mental illness; crippling of limbs. - A. Louis.) Brady's Book of Fixed Stars gives Castor's keyphrase as: the intellectual writer, and of course, Castor's twin star, Pollux 23Can13, is soon-to-rise, keywords: danger of disgrace; murder; rape; cruelty; danger from poisons, women, or large animals; good for the occult or for Astrology.

Castor rising may be significant as well because of the upcoming Solar Eclipse @ 19Can24 on July 11, 2010 in the 12 South Series which is the Pre-Natal Series of the USA (@ 00Pis33); this timing greatly personalizes the July 2010 Eclipse for America.

12S's flavor is one of 'successful outcomes to long term worries' (B. Brady) - yet there's Saturn's 'long term' influence mentioned, as below. Well, perhaps the Obama stimulus plan will pay off more obviously for our economy during the second half of 2010 as predicted by this administration. I sincerely hope so since my personal list of friends and family experiencing job loss has recently grown longer.

The first US natal planet to rise in today's gaveling-in chart is our Mercury Rx '25Cancer': "A Man Wrapped in an Invisible Mantle of Power." I believe this is a reference to the T-Square of the chart between Saturn Rx 3Lib17 at Ic (the Foundation or Basis of the chart and of the congressional session now underway) and the gaveling-in's Mc which implicates the ongoing transit of Saturn to US natal Mc 00Lib53...and more specifically to the T-SQ's apex Pluto.

Normally a Saturn-to-Mc transit should be a time of great accomplishment and recognition for long term efforts (and perhaps it will be before the transit ends - then it's on to America's Saturn Return)...unless Saturnian responsibilities have not been properly addressed. As I stated previously: they have not as of yet.

However, this trasit could be considered part of NWO implementations since the global elite agenda has been a long time coming. The pay-off for the power elite is Saturnian control, but for the rest of us it's Saturnian loss...loss in reputation (10th house = the world stage; public standing/status; and loss of career with massive unemployment. Old Man Saturn likes cutbacks and conservative measures.)

The T-SQ forms a midpoint picture...

Saturn/Mc = Pluto: great demands; a grand struggle ordained by destiny; fear of loss; the need to be in control at all times; great changes in life's conditions; strong repression of your work by others; added willpower to accomplish your goals.

Now any, all, or none of the above may apply and may refer to congressional members, but I suspect that Pluto 5Cap56 in 6th house, apex planet of the T-SQ, is described as well: plutonian string-pulling. I have previously posted on the upcoming Cardinal T-Square which will bedevil the world from Spring 2010 into 2014 but I will repeat some of it now - even though today's T-SQ is a bit different and includes the gaveling-in's Mc: apex Pluto in a Cardinal T-SQ = a private loner who must be in control at all times and willfuly fulfils his (their) ambitions through force, manipulation, or subversive activities; hidden strengths allow ruthless overwhelming of opponents for this high-powered executive position that demands penetrating insights into all crucial operations (of the US Senate and House, it seems.) 2:00 pm est today was a Moon Hour (fluctuations; changes; removals; travel) and the Moon 13Gem33 (just barely entered into the 11th house) makes two applying aspects:

1. Moon square Venus 14Pis07 in 9th house (0A34); indicates overindulgences, trouble with women, and/or a lack of self-control;

2. Moon trine Mercury 18AQ45 in 8th house (5A11); indicates restlessness, purposeful travel, and/or charming verbal abilities which may mask deceptions.

Then at 6:30 pm this evening, congressional members are meant to show up for the start of voting on what was discussed earlier today, so I'll check out the chart for 6:30 pm est, and if I find anything of particular interest, it will be reported here.
