Future Eclipses Echo Past Conditions and Events

When an 11 South Solar Eclipse occurs once again on August 2, 2027 @10 Leo, it will conjunct the natal 12th house Pluto of Donald Trump (he'll be 81 yo!), and we may expect that whatever deteriorating societal conditions are in play by then, 11 South Themes will apply: "a need for sudden reforms; old ideas and methods fail and new systems are required to deal with events; new ways of handling issues; any blocks could be violently or tragically removed" (paraphrasing B. Brady).

Now these potentials have been the case in previous 11 South years including: 1901 (27 Taurus), 1919 (7 Gemini), 1937 (18 Gemini), 1955 (28 Gemini), 1973 (9 Cancer), 1991 (19 Cancer), 2009 (29 Cancer); then in 2027 @10 Leo, as noted, and 2045 @20 Leo. Besides Trump (nee June 14, 1946), members of the Pluto in Leo generation are in the Uranian cosmic blink's crosshairs of 11 South and karma will be knocking on multiple doors. If this is you, consider the natal house in which 10 Leo falls. For me, it will be the 11th house, if I'm still kickin'.

As for 11 South's eclipse of Trump's natal Pluto, it will include his horrendous midpoint picture of negative potentials - Mars-Saturn = Pluto: 'deaths of many people; murder; injury; fury of destruction; intervention of a higher power' (R. Ebertin). With powerful Pluto involved with the eclipse, criminal offenses and gang violence are indicated on a negative level but if the energies are positively used (by Mango Mussolini's Mars-Saturn = 'death axis'?), Pluto's magic wand can grant more powerful charisma. This suggests that the mass delusion that one third of Americans are suffering under with Trump as their cult leader will continue and may be contagious. Will any blocks be tragically removed?

11 South Eclipse June 14, 1360: Moon rises with Castor, Pluto with Menkar

So some measure of prominence is given to all 11 South eclipses because the series' initial eclipse occurred upon a Cardinal World Point of Manifestation as you see in the horoscope. Set for Washington DC (because that physical point on the Earth existed though not the city), the chart shows a forceful Mars-Pluto Conjunction rising and multiple hints of 'having a mission' as in, the Crusades (eclipse conjunct Alhena so both are strengthened). This means that Mars-Pluto forcefulness, even brutality are permanently attached to all 11 South Eclipses in some way along with other indications from the initial eclipse such as Alhena's 'having a mission' influence.

Now understandably, recorded historic events of Year 1360 are on the sparse side yet you may find a few interesting names on the births and deaths list. A couple of names stand out for me, one of which is Giovanni di Bicci de' Medici, the banker who founded the Medici dynasty, and Ulrich von Jungingen, German Master of the Teutonic Knights (but that's partially because in the past I've linked Herr Trump to said Knights, in his own mind, at least. Well, Trump family genealogy (Drumpft or Trumpfheller, actually) does go back to Thuringia, Germany, which began as the Duchy of Thuringia). A military Catholic order, the Teutonic Knights went on Crusades to re-take Jerusalem. Might this relate to the orange blighter being "selected" to announce the return of Israel's capital to Jerusalem in fulfillment of the 70-year prophecy? Maybe, but there are also cosmic reasons having to do with factors such Phaethon and Trump's Midheaven with raging star Algol twinkling malevolently upon it.

So in closing, my hope with this post is that a view of the initial 11 South Eclipse might interest curious readers who may not have seen a horoscope of its dangerous energies before (Pluto-ASC = Mars) or its Neptune Rx in mystical Pisces leading a BOWL shape of people on a mission, plus, the long-term project implications of chart-ruler Mars trine Saturn in Leo carrying 11 South themes into August 2027. My guess is that Trump has had the privilege of reading ancient manuscripts, but that's a post for another day.

Meanwhile, the August 2, 2027 Eclipse in Sun-ruled Leo may be viewed through a Cancerian lens (June 14, 1360) which emphasizes the eclipse's karmic Sun-Moon quality of relationships, family ties, and inheritance through DNA. You know - like descendants of Teutonic Knights and other Crusaders of old!

DC Horoscope: the "will be wild" tweet

A Tweet That Called for Violent Assault on Congress

Spotlighted during the July 12, 2022 J6 Hearing was Trump's Will be wild tweet that he sent out to his followers at 1:42 am est on December 19, 2020 not long after the December 18th "unhinged" Oval Office meeting had ended. The tweet activated, and was intended to activate - Trump-idolizing militia groups to meet in Washington DC on January 6, 2021, and although no reader may agree with me - for I have no proof, only intuition - "will be wild" could very well have been a prearranged signal that the "armed revolution" against the US Congress to stop or slow down certification of the Electoral College Votes for Joe Biden was going forward - and weapons would be necessary.

So because his tweet has been accurately time-stamped, I've spent a few hours today messily marking study notes upon a bi-wheel with a DC Horoscope set for December 19, 2020 1:42 am est Washington DC, Trump's "will be wild" tweet (inner). Surrounding the 'tweet' horoscope is the natal chart of Donald Trump so that it's impossible to miss the fact that his Stationary Jupiter @17Lib27 precisely rises the moment he tweeted his "wild" message. This timing places House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's natal Jupiter opposite @18Aries. Rising is not simply his Jupiter but also Trump's natal 2nd house trio of Neptune-Chiron-Jupiter, and you'll note that he activated an armed mob to search and destroy the Speaker of the House that day, along with other Democrats, plus, VP Pence, who refused to help him with his coup attempt of the US government:

Now as you see, the tweet's 4 South Prenatal Solar Eclipse @23Sag08 (so near Trump's awkward Moon-South-Node conjunction) is penned into the 3rd house of Communications with its 4 South themes listed in the center of the horoscope (although there was no space to add 4 South's fated quality, or its 'end of relationships' potential - B. Brady). You probably remember that this is the December 14, 2020 Eclipse which occurred on the day the Electoral College voted for Joe Biden - and there were strong emotions expressed during the screamfest called the "unhinged" Oval Office meeting which Sidney "Kraken" Powell and other "crazies" attended, for one reason to tell Trump to seize voting machines through an executive order. (See lower left for a few notes on the de-licensed lawyer Powell, pal of Ginni Thomas - Powell's natal midpoint picture describes a fraudster.) If you watched, you know that the "unhinged" meeting was discussed during the July 12th J6 hearing yesterday.

And descriptively enough, for his birthday this year in June, Trump received a Full Moon @23Sag25 which starkly lit up the 4 South Electoral College Eclipse of December 14, 2020 - and of course, June 2022 brought his nibs lots of publicity and stress through multiple J6 Public Hearings! (The first hearing's horoscope is linked, below.) It's all about 2020's Electoral College Vote and Trump's refusal to get over his loss - which now sticks to the Trump brand.

Meanwhile, you'll note that the tweet chart's Midheaven ('MC'), the Goal Point, has difficult star Castor upon it ('sudden loss or fame; murder; crippling of limbs; mental illness' - A. Louis). Also conjunct Midheaven is the Mars-Ascendant midpoint, a picture that R. Ebertin gives as, 'fighters' and 'comrades in arms'. Comrades in arms? Sounds like militia groups and complicit Republican politicians who had parts to play in the "stop the steal" proceedings. An exception was VP Pence, an outlier whose refusal enraged coup-plotter Trump.

Lower right corner you see transit Pluto opposing Trump's natal Saturn denoting his refusal to accept loss and failure, the tweet's Moon @26AQ48 opposing Trump's natal Mars @26Leo46 which echoes the oppositional relationship between his aggressive Mars and US 1776 Moon (for those who use this placement for We The People). For me this is a cosmic picture of his contempt for us including his supporters, his aggression against our country, the assault against the peaceful transfer of power, and his general willingness to do America harm as signified by the Moon-Mars opposition. Plus, it's a Nodal Return for him when new alliances can be formed, and in his case, transit North Node @19Gemini points toward his natal 10th house Sun-NN-Uranus trio of 'meetings with excited or unusual people' ("crazies"), fanaticism, and radical reactionary politics.

Also notable, is that this time period includes the Great Conjunction of societal planets Jupiter and Saturn on December 21, 2020 @00AQ29 - conjunct the US POTUS Sun (played by Trump, at that time). This forms a midpoint picture of potentials: Jupiter-Saturn = POTUS Sun: "taking destiny into one's own hands; major changes according to plan; or, if nothing has been prepared, becoming gripped by the status quo and having to make the best of things" (N. Tyl).

Well, he was legally advised to avoid the crazy idea of seizing voting machines and his court challenges had failed, so I can believe that he was gripped by the status quo of his election loss, and with options exhausted, it seems that his tweet calling for armed rebellion must have been his version of taking destiny into his own tweeting hands in an attempt to make the 'best' of things by strong-arming his way back into the presidency.

5 New South Eclipse Themes: Good News and Benefits!

October 25, 2021: Below is a view of the DC Horoscope of the 5 New South Solar Eclipse of December 4, 2021 @12Sag22 which falls within the 2nd house of The National Treasury and Values when the eclipse chart is set for Washington DC. In Sabian Symbols its rounded-up degree of "13Sag" = "A Widow's Past Brought to Light" (a Freemasonry reference) with "Keynote: The karma of past actions as it affects opportunities presented by a new cycle" (D. Rudhyar). In his An Astrological Mandala (#ad), Rudhyar goes on to explain, "Mankind is 'the widow' because our soon-to-be-concluded Piscean Age has buried most of the ideals it once revered and proclaimed. Yet the New Age will have to deal with many oppressive ghosts. This is a symbol of RETRIBUTION." We don't need Astrology to tell us that America's old business will linger into 2022 which may refer to criminal and civil indictments we've yet to see in October 2021.

And for old age-new age, conservative-progressive, past-future, and old order-new order issues and stand-offs we tend to look toward Saturn vs Uranus; here, their midpoint @25Pis26 is posited in the 6th house of Military-Police-Civil Service, Employment, and Health. Their midpoint opposes US Progressed Neptune in Virgo which hints at "masked changes designed to break traditional roles" (supported by the ongoing transformative US Pluto Return/s of 2022 but now within orb and busy restructuring society, systems, structures, and traditions). Also suggested are potentials for "separations; bereavements; falsehoods, and/or malice due to weakness" (R. Ebertin).

Meanwhile, my personal hope is that the 'Retribution' of the "13Sag" Eclipse refers to holding accountable the criminals, corporatists, corrupt politicians, and their enablers who have undermined and continue to sabotage our nation out from under the noses of Americans who prefer a democratic Republic.

As you see, the Eclipse opposes or is opposed by wealthy gold-hoarder Midas Rx (@12Gem02 in the Corporate 8th house) and is attended by messenger planet Mercury 15Sag18 which conjoins asteroid Arachne, a spidery, possibly sinister reference to the World Wide Web, the Internet and to certain sticky networks such as those identified by asteroid Cupido (here @24Leo47 in 11th house of Groups and Associations opposite Jupiter in the 5th house of Gambling and Risk-Taking. Cupido networks include the World Banking System, 'The Family' of 'religious' power-grabbers, various mafia organizations and other criminal networks, and Corporatism in general. The global neo-n*zi movement of crooks and blighters may also be indicated by Cupido whose position in vain Leo conjuncts the natal Mars of crime boss you-know-who.

Plus, we should note that a solar eclipse in Jupiter-ruled Sagittarius involves issues of: searches for ultimate truths, ethical considerations, moral concepts, and religious convictions. However, misguided beliefs and misplaced idealism will interfere with karmic progress, and false optimism must be avoided for best results (R. Lineman). When communicating Mercury closely attends an eclipse, reasoning power and logic are necessary and must be utilized in order to resolve karmic (longstanding) problems; determined concentration is a must because when thinking Mercury is in wide-ranging Sagittarius, thoughts are deep yet a scattering of energies, and a tendency to avoid tasks or to take the line of least resistance are constant possibilities. Dotting Is and crossing Ts will be important to the matters at hand which suggests negotiations, agreements, laws, treaties, trade deals, and/or contracts that may be signed under the influence of this eclipse. But fine print should be closely scrutinized similar to periods when Mercury is retrograde (as it will be in mid-January 2022).

Now naturally, you'll note the intense Venus-Pluto Conjunction at the Foundation of the chart with angular Venus as chart-ruler and 8th hou$e ruler. See lower left corner for a few notes concerning the only applying aspect of Venus - her conjunction with powerful wealth-hoarding plutocrat Pluto which occurs within the greatly sensitized later-degrees of Saturn-ruled Capricorn, sign of government, law, business, and investment. Curiously, notable indications of a Venus-Pluto pairing includes "foreign raids on the treasury" (M. Munkasey). And of course, Wall Street gentry and speculators are involved with Jupiterian financial matters.

Also, see money planet Venu$ as apex of the Mars-Neptune trine, lower right corner, which suggests potentials for appeasement, superficial religious practices, and perhaps infection. A high-flying Kite pattern of success is suggested here yet only the goal-oriented Midheaven, with difficult star Castor conjunct MC, creates the Kite's tail so let's skip the pattern since no planet is there (but "A Prima Donna Singing" is). So this leaves the focus on the Mars-Neptune trine with Venus at apex, as noted, and with the Mars-Neptune pair suggesting potentials for 'military or industrial espionage, scandals involving the military, riots over national healthcare (hospital fires)', and/or "the threat of war or force to be used against the ideals of the people, the country, or its rulers" (M. Munkasey). This we know, even without Astrology to tell us - especially since talking heads warn us of future violent actions all the time with 1/6 as only the opening salvo by fascist malcontents and saboteurs.

Three December Solar Eclipses: 2019 ('The Covid Eclipse'), 2020 ('The Electoral College Vote Eclipse' and the Eclipse series of Inauguration 2021), and 2021 ('RETRIBUTION: The Karma of Past Actions Eclipse')

Now coming near the end of a year, December Eclipses always carry their energies, Uranian disruptions, and themes into the next year so the 5 New South Eclipse shown above will affect the first months of 2022 until around the middle of April 2022 when themes of the next Solar Eclipse (6 North @10Taurus) override those of 5 New South, suddenly or gradually.

And because a solar eclipse is a New Moon and a course-changing 'wild card of the Universe', the next Full Moon is highly significant as the New Moon's culmination or fulfillment phase suggesting full awareness and/or relationship issues. That will be the Full Moon @27Gem29 on December 19, 2021 when results (or fall-out) from the 5 New South Eclipse should become more obvious in relation to the matters discussed, above.

A few closing notes: Readers familiar with the natal planets of the 'orange menace' won't fail to notice that rising in the above chart is his natal Jupiter stationary (@17Lib27 in natal 2nd house with his wounded Chiron and deceptive Neptune) - and Speaker Nancy Pelosi's natal Jupiter @17Aries, precisely and diametrically opposed to his Jupiter across the Aries-Libra axis. Plus, eclipse Jupiter @25AQ50 opposes the natal rising Mars of the 'orange menace', which as you know, opposes our July 4, 1776 Moon (We The People) showing his vengeful aggression against the American people. And one more thing: Mars @23Sco40 leads a BOWL pattern with zealous Uranus, Mars' former tango partner (their opposition perfected around mid-November 2021) now Rx @11Tau38. This position of warrior planet Mars conjoins and ruffles the natal IC, then enters the 4th house of the 'orange menace', and the BOWL shape of planets suggests one who advocates for a cause - and in his case, everyone knows that his well-known cause is weakly based upon a Big Fat Lie.

Covid Eclipse 2019 and the manic 1518 Dance Epidemic

Choreography! Must We Put On Our Dancing Shoes?

August 11, 2021: Earlier today, while searching for the precise moment of the Saturn-Pluto Conjunction of 1518 @4Cap17:28, I ran across one event of 1518 that particularly stands out to me in light of current conditions and events. And knowing that eclipses are 'wild cards of the Universe' and 'cosmic blinks' with their Uranian tendency to disrupt and change the course of earthly affairs, the Dancing Plague of 1518, aka, a dance epidemic (there have been multiple such ones in history, a famous example: St. Vitus' dance, aka, Sydenham's chorea) popped out.

Now as you know, late 2019 into early 2020 times the approximate entry of the Covid-19 contagion into the US and by March 2020, quarantine conditions were generally recommended. My first observance of the quarantine was on March 12, 2020 when I retreated from the world and became an 'artist-in-residence' (not such a bad thing for me). For as you know, the difficult Saturn-Pluto combo of karmic energies tends to be destructive, harsh, and can involve compulsion, forms of compression, and physical toil; a period of hardship is indicated. Such was 2020, no one's favorite year, but there certainly have been a lot of choreographed dance routines turning up on Instagram and tik tok, often in the form of various shuffle dances. Here's one that reminds me of 1518 because it's on the manic side and rather itchy!

Meanwhile, here's a previous post showing the DC Horoscopes of the 3 South 'Covid Eclipse' of December 26, 2019, plus, the first eclipse of 2020 which was the January 10th Lunar Eclipse in Cancer conjunct Castor which perfected very near the Great Conjunction of Saturn and Pluto (January 12, 2020).

Yet admittedly, it isn't so much the cosmic link to 'dancing' I'm most interested in, it's the use of the words 'epidemic' and 'plague' that echo through our current tragic health crises in relation to the mysterious dance outbreaks of 1518 with their cause or causes still considered unknown or uncertain. Social conditions were difficult in Alsace (present-day France) at that time and "hot blood" had been floated as a cause or possibly ergot fungi poisoning (as with the Salem Witch Trials in the US), or even the hysteria of demonic possession or stress-induced mass psychosis similar to the mass hypnosis perpetrated by a certain politician upon willing acolytes, some of whom might be described as "possessed" by the spirit of a death cult and stirred up to a point of mania. After all, history usually only rhymes and does not repeat in an exact way, for planetary factors will naturally differ. But one curious example not so different is 1518 Uranus Station Direct @4Tau19 and 2019 'Covid Eclipse' Uranus @2Tau45 Rx. In our day, transit Uranus has returned to its 1518 degree three times: 1. May 25, 2019; 2. November 4, 2019; and 3. March 15, 2020 (quarantine time! Uranian isolation!). Also related to our topic is the disturbing Sabian Symbol for "5Taurus" = "A Widow At An Open Grave." (Some of the dancers of 1518 apparently danced themselves to death although this is disputed by some.)

Meanwhile, we know that it's all about cycles - planetary cycles, eclipse cycles, historical cycles, and a comparison of the 1518 Saturn-Pluto Conjunction (January 3, 1518 OS) Horoscope with the December 26, 2019 Eclipse chart shows other planetary links as well: cycles within cycles.

And so the purpose of this post is to point out a curious cosmic time link affecting the 1518 conjunction of karmic planets Saturn and Pluto @4Cap17 for it may have been tweaked if not activated by degree when the 3 South Solar Eclipse of December 26, 2019 @4Cap06 hit it. But there's another cosmic link of a Uranian nature: the Prenatal Solar Eclipse ('PE') of the 1518 Saturn-Pluto Conjunction which is the 6 South Solar Eclipse of December 13, 1517 @00Cap55, a Cardinal World Point of manifestation, with 6 South themes of: 'manic energy; being forceful and taking power; great strength in relationships; sudden events; exerting huge efforts in group activities' (paraphrasing B. Brady).

And as previously mentioned in multiple posts, a 6 South eclipse perfects again on October 25, 2022 @2Scorpio and had also manifested on August 31, 1932 @8Virgo as the historically coordinated 'Nazis Rise to Power Solar Eclipse'.

December 2021's 5 New South Solar Eclipse: Benefits!

June 25, 2021: Below is a DC Horoscope of the December 4, 2021 Total Solar Eclipse @12Sag22 in the 5 New South Saros Series with its themes of 'benefits, good news, peak experiences, joy' (Brady's Predictive Astrology #ad).

As you see, chart-ruler Venus @22Cap19 conjuncts the IC (Foundation of the Matter) while applying to a conjunction with powerful Pluto @25Cap07. Some consideration may be due to this particular degree range of Saturn-ruled Capricorn since '23 Capricorn' is a degree of governmental authority (N. DeVore) and '25 Capricorn' is, critically, the cusp of the 24th Lunar Mansion. In addition, mercenary star Terebellum (Omega Sagittarius), although faint, is located within these degrees as well. So Venus to Pluto (see lower left) suggests strategic manipulation in order to gain control. Financial matters, even bankruptcy, are also suggested as well as criminal elements having influence. Of course, we don't need Astrology to tell us America has been seriously infiltrated by such corruption.

And for those who prefer a US horoscope with 11--13 Sagittarius rising, this Solar Eclipse hits directly upon the Ascendant of such a chart which then personalizes the 5 New South Eclipse of December 2021 for America and further enhances the significance of expansive planet Jupiter. However, if you prefer a different version (July 4, 1776, or other--) then the eclipse falls within a house other than the Ascendant (1st or 12th house) and affects the activities of that house and the houses also ruled by the eclipse-and-chart-ruler/s.

Now located with the Eclipse in the 2nd hou$e is Mars @23Sco40 as leader of a BOWL shape of planets so here we have an activist or combatant promoting the 'advocacy of a cause' or 'having a mission'. A further identifier is the fact that this Mars conjuncts the natal IC of Donald Tr*mp which may be what I like to call a cosmic peep-eye especially since he is known or suspected to have been born with testy Mars rising in royal Leo.

One more Tr*mpian note is that his natal Jupiter @17Lib27 (at Station on June 14, 1946) conjuncts this Ascendant while Speaker Nancy Pelosi's natal Jupiter conjuncts the Descendant reminding us of their previous political stand-offs. Yet a comfort is always to consider the Sabian Symbol of his greedy Jupiter at '18Libra': "Two Men Placed Under Arrest".

Then with critical-crisis degrees on the security-minded MC-IC, we find one of the Gemini Twins, Castor at Midheaven ('MC') - positively a creative star, yes, but also with its negative potentials for 'sudden fame or loss, murder, mental illness', and/or 'the crippling of limbs' (A. Louis). Everyone knows our society is at a critical stage of development, this is not news!

So here are my final notes: the Moon rises with royal star Antares (We the People feeling feisty!), Mercury @15Sag13 (conjunct Arachne: the internet?) accompanies the Solar Eclipse and suggests the need for logic and reasoning power which emphasizes the sign and portents of this Eclipse: Sagittarius, so that karmic progress can be made by an honest search for truth and by utilizing moral concepts and ethics. However, misplaced idealism, misguided beliefs, and false optimism must be avoided for best results (R. Lineman).

So agree or disagree, I personally feel such uplifting concepts are much more likely to be utilized now that America is helmed by President Joe Biden.

Solar/Lunar Eclipses Knit Together December 2020 and May 2021 and Beyond

April 27, 2021: As you know, the Lunar Eclipse that accompanies a Solar Eclipse provides clues concerning our instinctive reactions to the karmic situations and conditions associated with the previous Solar Eclipse. The current 'cosmic blinks' fall into the Gemini-Sagittarius sector of the Zodiac with its Mercury-Jupiter influences that spotlight logic, reasoning, mental agility, fluent communications, morals, ethics, and the search for ultimate truth. All this as "the big lie" and its spawn continue to undergird the anti-democratic objectives of the Republican Party and sore losers cause nothing but trouble.

So while society remains under the auspices of the difficult 4 South Solar Eclipse of December 14, 2020 @23Sag08 (until about the June 10, 2021 Solar Eclipse, listed, lower right on the chart - conjunct the former guy's natal Moon-SN) which manifested upon the very day of the 2020 Electoral College Vote (the GOP's political bone of contention), here's a look at December 2020's 4 South Eclipse with its karmic themes of 'strong feelings over money and/or relationships; a sudden desire to end relationships' (Brady), plus, the accompanying Lunar Eclipse of May 26, 2021 @5Sag25 which significantly conjuncts, reflects, and reveals transiting Nemesis (@17Sco43 in December) conjunct the eclipsed Moon. Both eclipses are Total, thus bringing strong influences upon conditions and events.

Planet Mercury (highlighted in green), is out-of-bounds ('OOBs') in both charts, isolated from input by the rest of the planets, and opposing its Sag position of 2020 by the time of the 2021 Lunar Eclipse, when it's happier in its own sign of Gemini, as you see. Obviously, potential shifts in communications and planning are denoted along with changes in other realms ruled by Mercury such as commerce, education, and young people's concerns (increased innoculations?). Changeable Mercury is chart-ruler in May (ASC 26Gem24) and as such, applies to a dramatic inconjunct with powerful, wealthy Pluto (adjustments are needed), a pleasant conjunction/meeting with Venus, then speeds on to trine expansive Jupiter in compassionate Pisces (conjunct MC and benevolent Fomalhaut!) bringing uplifting ideas and plans, some perhaps of the 'big picture' variety.

Note that in December, the Virgo-Pisces polarity is intercepted, a karmic implication suggesting veiled factors being hidden from view but which must be dealt with. My suspicion is that the May 2021 Lunar Eclipse conjunct the Saturnian South Node (of the Moon) indicates that best results can be attained when past hurts and festering grudges are let go so that forward progress can be made and new opportunities embraced. This would be the wisest way to respond to the difficult conditions and events heralded by the December 2020 4 South Eclipse. Yet not everyone can manage to do this. I refer to the May Eclipse's Midheaven holding high asteroid Niobe (the grieving mother) along with the Saturn-Neptune midpoint of suffering, illness, loss - and the social safety net programs so many of us need right now.

Now at critical degrees in both charts we find Mars, planet of energy, action, motivation, and conflict, in 2021 squaring his 2020 position in his own sign of Aries and indicating an unfavorable period for decisive action, a lack of cooperation, and lending a forceful, determined air to what are very busy proceedings. There's a decidedly masculine influence pervading activities which may lift slightly with Mars in Cancer, sign of family and home, although in emotional Cancer, the potential for fiery anger often increases - especially for those with hot tempers - while the square brings blockages, frustration, and delay. Plus, significantly, Mars is the planet of police and military men and at the Lunar Eclipse, asteroid HOPI joins Mars with its ambush and/or prejudice vibes. The two stars of Gemini also join in - Castor and Pollux - so that 'murder, cruelty, crippled limbs, mental illness, and/or sudden fame or loss' (A. Louis) continue as possible outcomes in certain situations especially those involving (rogue?) police officers or the military (deployed and coming home: Cancer). Meanwhile, we should be aware that difficulties, conflicts, and hostilities could peak around the first week of June 2021 when Mars and Pluto oppose one another across the Cancer-Capricorn axis, a cosmic suggestion that interfering with the status quo will be more unwise than usual due to the tremendous, forceful energies within the Mars-Pluto combo along with the Lunar Eclipse conjunct Nemesis and leading a Locomotive shape of planets which indicates a 'high-powered executive ruthlessly determined to achieve success'.

Wonder who?

November-December 2020: Trump Doubly Eclipsed!

Will Trump's 'Glory' End During a Lame Duck Season?

Whether you believe that Donald Trump lost or won the 2020 Election, it cannot be denied that the (apparent) lame duck in the White House enters a significant 'eclipse season' with the Lunar Eclipse of November 30, 2020 (8Gem38) and proceeds on to the Solar Eclipse of December 14, 2020 (23Sag03). Concerning the turmoil of the November Election, it seems that the season, ('duck season'?), has already begun since eclipses are disruptively Uranian in nature and thus may influence conditions early, late, or never. Considering current events and, so far, his inability to accept defeat, it's doubtful that 'never' applies to Mr. Trump's situation. Plus, eclipses' habit of revealing secrets and triggering scandals is well known.

Of course, I refer to the fact that the November 30th Lunar Eclipse (8Gem38) 'eclipses' Trump's Prenatal Solar Eclipse (8Gem48; May 30, 1946 2 Old North) and the December 14th Solar Eclipse (23Sag03) 'eclipses' Trump's natal Lunar Eclipse (23Sag04; June 14, 1946--his day of birth, an 'eclipse baby' = an eventful life). That the two eclipses of November and December 2020 are 'personalized' for Donald Trump seems obvious to me, if not to you, and the usual qualities of Mercury-ruled Gemini and Jupiter-ruled Sagittarius are naturally involved (truth vs lies, logic, reasoning ability, mental fluency; moral and ethical issues, real or fanciful religious convictions, ideology). Additionally, the potential themes of all 2 Old North Solar Eclipses are currently activated: 'unfortunate news concerning relationships or friendships; separations or endings of unions; things initially look glum but fast action can bring positive results' (paraphrasing Brady, Predictive Astrology). Perhaps he'll conclude that scurrying out of the line of fire is his best chance of survival!

Meanwhile, you'll remember that a 2 Old North Eclipse repeated on July 12, 2018 at the critical degree of 20Cancer (20:41) conjunct fixed star, Castor with the star's potentials for 'sudden loss or fame; murder; mental illness; crippling of limbs--A. Louis). These potentials were further ruffled by the significant Lunar Eclipse which opened Year 2020 on January 10th @20Can00 and related, as we later discovered, to the revelation and arrival in the US of coronavirus and Covid-19.

And so I suggest that all these cosmic and earthly events of 2020 are part of the political and personal picture of Donald Trump whose Waterloo may ultimately be traced through the influences of Solar and Lunar Eclipses, often called cosmic blinks and wild cards of the Universe for good reason.

But no gloating here, my fellow Americans, for as I must remind myself for a little while longer: wherever Trump-playing-POTUS goes, so goes the United States of America.

Can a Past Eclipse Spotlight 2020 Conditions?

Horoscope: 13 South Solar Eclipse January 9, 1777 10:47:04 am LMT Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; Ascendant: "3 Aries" = "A Cameo Profile of a Man in the Outline of His Country"

July 22, 2020: Once again I'm attempting to show that a past Solar Eclipse (January 9, 1777 @19Cap50 in the sinister 13 South Saros Series) can continue to describe conditions and events in the US by way of Secondary Progressions along with the real-time eclipse horoscope itself when triggered by current transits. Yes, I've written about this 'history rhymes' situation previously but today a view of the actual 1777 Solar Eclipse Horoscope may add to the picture in relation to current events and is based on Astrology's day-for-a-year method of progressions.

The horoscope for America I've used for today's Secondary Progressions ('SP') is the July 4, 1776 5:09 pm LMT Philadelphia, Pennsylvania version though of course other versions may be used as well. If you progress the US horoscope to today's date and check out its 'Prenatal Solar Eclipse' ('PE') you'll see 19Cap50 listed, and in real time that's the January 9, 1777 13 South Solar Eclipse you see pictured, above. Naturally, eclipses in Saturn-ruled Capricorn involve control issues, authority figures, and one's relationship to them. Plus, the negative qualities of the sign such as greed, avarice, coldness, ruthless ambition, and selfishness must be avoided if karmic progress is to be made. Obviously, these negative qualities now shown by regressive Authority Figure #1 and his anti-government, anti-constitutional, anti-humanity enablers are blocking the progressive policies that would improve conditions for the American people and would put corporate bad actors back on their heels. However, consistent efforts must be made along with the correct use of resources (eclipse in Earth). Again, the current regime interrupts what should be our progress, plus, with Jupiter opposing the eclipse, ethical and moral standards must guide and be upheld if we wish to succeed in any significant way. In 1777 General Washington possessed such a character. In 2020 we are hampered by certain low characters infesting and sabotaging our country - in a word, traitors. (See chart, lower left corner.)

For pandemic influences, see upper right (deadly Pluto conjunct the karmic South Node) and consider all the diseases that afflicted the Continental Army. Karma is also shown by Neptune and Pluto (a combo with criminal intentions, or, the use of drugs, the occult, or spirituality) for both are at Nodal Degree, an indication of fate at work, along with interceptions across the 6/12 axis of the victim-savior Virgo-Pisces polarity (yet a different house system might mitigate this particular karmic factor). Personally I think it belongs considering current Virgoan-Piscean conditions and the fact that the 6/12 is involved - health, hospitals, military/police/civil servants, karma, hidden enemies, etc, the very concerns we now struggle with.

So as you can see, I've followed my bad habit of squishing a bunch of study notes onto the image (please enlarge or print to read) but below I will add in this text the themes of 13 South Eclipses since my assertion here is that our nation's current conditions and potential events in 2020 are hereby described in part by 13 South themes 'running in the background' of society and basically unconscious. With US finances in turmoil and congressional disputes over bail-out funds, 1777's Jupiter Rx @20Can15, a critical-crisis degree, is significant and opposes the eclipse (19Cap50). In early 2020, a cosmic time link was formed when this degree and planet were 'eclipsed' on January 10, 2020 by a Lunar Eclipse conjunct Castor. Now as you know, fixed stars are most expressive when eclipsed and Gemini Twin Castor suggests either super creativity, a loss, and/or murder. (You can see the January 2020 Lunar Eclipse notated near Jupiter Rx in 4th house.)

Also notated on the chart and conjunct its IC (the Foundation or Basis of the Matter) is a major cosmic time link which also 'knits together' 1777 and 2020: the
Summer Solstice Solar Eclipse of June 21, 2020 @00Can21, a Cardinal World Point of global manifestation, and its eclipse themes which we're now experiencing until the next Solar Eclipse on December 14, 2020 (or up to 14 days prior) @23Sag08 in the 4 South Series.

We should also mention that, although it's not officially a YOD pattern of crisis, turning point, a crossroads, health problems, and/or a karmic spiritual opportunity, the Neptune-North-Node sextile points toward Venus (26AQ34 in the karmic 12th house) which also happens to conjunct US natal Moon (We The People). The Neptune-NN pair relates to a lack of community spirit and their sextile of subtle evasion forms the base of a YOD for those who use points or angles other than planets. YOD or not, we have potentials of some midpoint pictures to consider which include Trump's natal Mars (26Leo) for it opposes 1777 Venus and US natal Moon (1776):

Neptune-NN = Venus: misconceptions about other people's relationships and associations; wrong liaisons; unfaithfulness; with Moon: lack of adaptability and community spirit; disappointments; with Mars: disharmony; inability to adjust to circumstances or conditions; association with sick people (R. Ebertin).

Now here are the themes (via Brady's Predictive Astrology) of the 13 South Solar Eclipse that I believe now have influence upon society as shown by cosmic time links and by 2020 transits, particularly the Capricorn trio of Jupiter, Saturn, and Pluto:

13 South Themes: 'sinister energies; urge to expand which may be frustrated; loss; separation; constitutional crisis and possible dismissal of a leader' (General Washington avoided dismissal but will Trump?); and/or 'evacuation' (Brady). To 'evacuation' I regretfully have added, evictions since many Americans are being unfairly threatened with it by a corrupt administration and a Republican-led Senate so often derelict in its duty.

As for Trump's violent intentions against peaceful protesters, you see notated one factor: Ascendant = Uranus-Pluto: 'applications of force' (Ebertin). By transit, the current position of the Uranus-Pluto midpoint in mid-Pisces opposes and activates the Great Conjunctions in mid-Virgo of revolutionary planets Uranus and Pluto 3 times during the mid-1960s and the Civil Rights Movement and again we see street protests and instigators sent to disrupt the peace and muddy issues.

Yet if we look up and beyond our earthly trials for only a moment, we may find the Sabian Symbol of the 1777 Solar Eclipse degree of '20 Capricorn': "A Hidden Choir Singing", a lovely word picture described by Marc Edmund Jones as, "a symbol of the eternal music of the spheres" and its positive expression of: "a unique gift for establishing a common interest and making it a power for the good of all"!

1932 and 2022: Eclipse Cycles Rhyme with Historic Events

May 31, 2020: Forewarned is forearmed.

And probably most people would agree that the first election of democrat Franklin D. Roosevelt on November 8, 1932 was certainly for him a "rise to power" in the US but today, in light of current societal conditions, let's consider a different rise to power which occurred in 1932 Berlin via the Solar Eclipse that 'announced' it: the Prenatal Solar Eclipse ('PE') of the Nazi Rise to Power in the 6 South Saros Series which perfected on August 31, 1932 @8Virgo09 (Berlin eclipse horoscope shown below). As you see, the transiting planets now in late Capricorn cluster about the Midheaven ('MC'; The Goal) and the Saturn Rx of this eclipse horoscope. So it may be significant that 6 South's 1932 Saturn Rx @28Cap55 returns to natal degree three times in 2020, the first time already passed: March 9, then July 17, and December 6 with transit Pallas @29Cap42 (strategy, wisdom, ethics) on December 6th conjunct Nazism's 1932 Saturn.

Naturally, Saturnian-style karma is suggested in some form or another which may or may not include the loss and restriction so prevalent now. Hopefully, the wrong kind of consolidation is not part of the karmic picture. For we know that Saturn brings needed lessons and always demands realism, integrity, and accountability but sadly there's not a lot of these going around, not by radical reactionary forces anyway. (Their jam is deception and erosion inspired by Neptune now in shady Pisces.) So it's up to Establishment forces to demand and hold accountable miscreants and saboteurs endeavoring to take over America against the will of the people. And of course, We The People must perform our roles as well, however we can, to resist. (Yes, writing Stars Over Washington is my primary effort for America and has been for nearly 15 years! My street protest days ended several moons ago.)

And it seems to me no accident that the 1932 Solar Eclipse @8Virgo conjuncts the degree of both Election 2016's and Inauguration 2017's Prenatal Solar Eclipse of September 1, 2016 (a cosmic time link by degree, not Saros Series) which tragically was opposed by transit Neptune @10Pisces. This opposition gave Neptunian forces many opportunities to confuse, cloud, hide, and erode the 19 North themes of the 2016 Eclipse: 'realism, coming down to earth; a good time for tackling the truth' (Brady). For as you know, astrological Neptune when expressed negatively is allergic to truth, scoffs at reality, and perverts the straight-forward course, as do demagogues like Donald and--dare I type it--Adolf. After all, honest demagogues and dictators can never win so they must resort to deceit and fraud for their fake victories!

Please note that this post is not about the subsequent Fascism Rising Solar Eclipse of 1933 @5Pis29 in the 7 North series of 'deep passion' and 'lust' but the Total eclipse of August 31, 1932 with themes that are descriptive of the fascist/nazi/seizing power era of the 1930s--and of current conditions across the globe as America nears her first-ever Pluto Return/s in 2022 when 6 South comes again:

Therefore, dear reader, perhaps we agree on these disturbing topics so consider the following (for those who do not already know): a 6 South Solar Eclipse repeats @2Scorpio on October 25, 2022 and will be the PE of America's third of three Pluto Returns which occurs on December 28, 2022 (@27Cap32). Now stealthy Pluto was in Moon-ruled Cancer in the 1930s fascist era (nationalism; tribalism) but now, in our Pluto-in-Saturn-ruled-Capricorn era, neo-Nazism again rears its vicious Medusa head spurred by mouthpiece Trump, and as Saturn-ruled Pluto destroys structures and traditions, Pluto in Capricorn bears the unfortunate imprint of The Dictator (Ebertin). Plus, when Saturn and Pluto conjoined on January 12, 2020 @22Cap46, their harsh energies imprinted upon Year 2020 (and for the next 33 years or so) and their conjunction 'hit' the Vertex of fated encounters and possible wish-fulfillment in the natal horoscope of Donald Trump, as we've previously discussed. As you know, these harsh energies oppose Trump's natal 11th house Saturn--in watery, tribal Cancer. It's all very Moon-Saturn-Pluto abuse and misuse of power, isn't it?

Well, one difference between Nazi 1932 and Trump 2017--2022 that we have going for us is that the violent 'Marseillaise Trio' (Mars-Jupiter-Neptune) of 1932 is not aligned now as it was during the French Revolution. Enough of a saving grace? Turns out in May 2020 it is not for it's only one factor in a boatload of many, both positive and negative. Besides, white nationalism is 'on the rise' with Trump in the White House (our national Masonic Lodge). And nowadays we're experiencing the consequences of the traveling heavyweight trio of Jupiter, Saturn, and Pluto so recently joined by hothead arsonist Mars in March 2020. Besides weaponry, mundane Mars has a well known link to needles and injections - to anything sharp and/or invasive actually.

Yet hope springs eternal for America stopped Nazism before and must stop the brutal movement again in order to protect and keep some remnants of the democratic Republic we've known and prefer.

Now, for chart-readers, here is the 6 South Nazi Rise to Power Solar Eclipse Horoscope set for Berlin, Germany: August 31, 1932 8:54:32 pm CET with 18Tau03 rising (Taurus, a beastly sign), and a critical degree at Midheaven opposite twin star Castor (murder; loss; mental illness: A. Louis) conjunct the eclipse's IC, the Foundation of the chart. 6 South themes include forcefully taking power and huge efforts expended in group endeavors (paraphrasing Brady's Predictive Astrology):

As noted, above, a 6 South Solar Eclipse repeats on October 25, 2022 @2Scorpio. And as Rose Lineman informs us in her booklet on Eclipses, a solar eclipse in that intense Mars-Pluto infused sign denotes, "Scorpio's gift of probing insight (which) enables one to discern root causes of karmic situations and problems."

And this resonates with protecting and keeping some remnants of the democratic Republic we've known for, as everyone knows, monsters must be identified and directly faced in order to vanquish them!

For the sake of comparison, here's the same Nazi Power Rising Horoscope set for the White House Washington DC 2:54:32 pm EST with Cardinal Point 00Cap48 rising and a Libra Midheaven sporting - thank goodness! - two beneficial stars that relate to the Founding of America: Spica, the spike (Washington Monument) and Arcturus (the White House) with its key phrase: a different approach (democrat FDR!):

May 12, 2020: SCOTUS Oral Arguments w Astro-Notes

May 12, 2020: At 10:00 am edt this morning the Supreme Court (SCOTUS) is scheduled to begin oral arguments (made public by telephone) concerning the release of Trump documents such as his income tax returns. No time to print and publish the 10:00 am horoscope for you but there are three factors worth mentioning if only because for me, they stand out in relation to current conditions and events.

Of interest is what's rising at 10:00 am edt and that would be 20Cancer54 conjunct fixed star Castor--along with the first eclipse of 2020--the significant January 10 2020 Lunar Eclipse (DC horoscope shown, plus the Solar Eclipse @4Cap06 which influences today's SCOTUS session).

Comparing this morning's horoscope with that of SCOTUS First Session (February 1, 1790 NYC--I use 9:00 am LMT) we see an eye-popping transit of today's Neptune @20Pisces conjunct SCOTUS Saturn, revealing a time when structures and traditions are being eroded or are disintegrating due to current conditions. Of course, this could refer to the contagion sweeping the Earth inspiring SCOTUS' use of technological methods to make their deliberations public. But considering previous and current undermining assaults upon America's traditions, structures, and systems by Trump and his comrades, I think Neptune to Saturn indicates deeper problems, don't you? This is supported by the fact that at 10:00 am edt today, Trump's natal Neptune @5Libra simpers upon the IC (Foundation) of today's chart. Deception will turn up in his tweets, as always, with Neptune-IC denoting his urge to undermine the proceedings.

Opposite the IC at Midheaven ('MC"), the Goal Point of any horoscope, is a disruptive, even violent midpoint--Mars-Uranus. By ricochet this creates a midpoint picture of potentials: Mars-Uranus = DJT Neptune: 'cunning and deceit; desire to harm others; a person with bad intentions; rage; raving madness' (Ebertin). Note that Trump will be live tweeting his thoughts and insults so you may wish to visit his Twitter feed today and check out his mood!

Now with Mars-Uranus conjunct MC, let's dare add the potentials of this picture: 'drastic measures', even 'violence' and/or 'putting a pistol to someone's head', according to Ebertin. Plus, there's a distinct possibility that someone will be abandoning resistance and/or experiencing a weakening of strength as mourning continues to wash over our land and the entire globe.

To this tragic picture of gloom and bereavement, a majority of Americans may have to add the refusal of Supreme Court Justices to uphold the rule of law when it comes to Donald Trump, unless by the end of June they deliver We the People their decisions which show they recognize evil when they confront it and will thereby retain (at least some of) the Court's integrity by exhibiting the strength to stand up against the underworld criminal network now operating out of the White House.

DC Horoscope: The Very First Eclipse of 2020

Looking Ahead with The Past in Mind: a 2nd Look at the January 10, 2020 Eclipse

On January 10, 2020 will manifest a penumbral lunar eclipse, aka, an appulse eclipse (light not fully dimmed); for more info see Keith's Lunar Eclipse Page. Yet as some readers know, my focus with solar and lunar eclipses and their effects on history and society is on their degrees--their symbolism, conjunctions, oppositions, and other prominent factors related to their particular place of manifestation in the Zodiac. Sensitive degrees are created when eclipses occur upon them and can remain 'sore' for years as is the case with sensitive critical degrees (Mansions of the Moon are not covered here!) which may suggest possibilities for crisis conditions and/or events--at the least, disruption--usually externally with solar eclipses and internally with lunar ones.

Therefore, it's notable that the January 10, 2020 Lunar Eclipse, although not Total, is at the critical degree of 20Cancer00, plus, this is the first eclipse of 2020 so its cosmic 'wild card' energies are imprinted upon the entire year. What 'cosmic blinks' are in store? What shenanigans are perpetrated in the dark? What can Castor reveal? Related may be the fact that a 12 South Solar Eclipse occurred conjunct Castor on July 11, 2010. Will a discovery or two concerning 2010 issues and events turn up during 2020? As for the January 2020 Lunar Eclipse, the Cancer-Capricorn axis is ruled by Moon and Saturn which relates to security and domestic concerns, plus, has ambition, strategy, status, and direction interests. Set for Washington DC, the horoscope of the January 10, 2020 Lunar Eclipse @20Can00 reveals a variety of reactions to the previous Solar Eclipse of December 26, 2019 @4Cap07 (see eclipse list linked, below) with its 'traumatic transformation' theme. And obviously, a 'new start' is heralded by a New Year on January 1, 2020 so what may we expect for Year 2020 besides the major changes of direction timed by the January 12, 2020 Conjunction of karmic planets Saturn and Pluto (@22Cap46)? For as you know, eclipses also tend to disrupt earthly affairs and bring changes of direction although no one can say with complete confidence exactly what's ahead (other than Campaign 2020 and the usual political antics and overblown promises). However, new social, financial, and political orders are suggested and point toward another Great Conjunction in the 20-year cycle of 'societal planets' Jupiter and Saturn begins again on December 21, 2020 @00AQ29--at Winter Solstice, and conjuncts the US POTUS Sun degree.

So let's have a glance at the 'cosmic blink' eclipse horoscope that 'opens' 2020, below, for eclipses are always Uranian in nature--erratic, sudden, sometimes shocking, or perhaps merely full of surprises. Adding extra information, as noted, we have the lunar eclipse activating one of the Gemini Twins, Castor, a star containing possibilities for 'sudden fame or loss, mental illness, murder', and/or 'the crippling of limbs' (A. Louis). Yet Castor is also a writers' star and suggests much creativity in its positive manifestations. Eclipses 'work through' fixed stars and strengthen or empower their potentials - and vice versa.

DC Horoscope: January 10, 2020 Lunar Eclipse @20Cancer00 Conjunct Castor:

Hour of Mercury (time for change) but Mercury is out-of-bounds of the earthly plane ('OOBs') but here we see the little fella posited in 8th house with Jupiter, South Node, Sun, Saturn, Pluto, and asteroid Ceres ('democracy' restricted or over-powered by Saturn-Pluto authoritarianism; plus, potential interruption of food supplies). The 2/8 axis (Taurus-Scorpio) is emphasized (Money, Shared Resources, the National Treasury--what's left of it--Insurance, Debt, Corporatism, Transformation, the Occult, Death, etc). And the Jupiter-SN conjunction suggests clashes and conflicts of interest between social and ethical aims vs current trends and traditions, issues of bad timing, difficulties or delays in or concerning foreign lands, and genuine morality that could suffer from false religious dogma...as it has before. In addition, Mercury's OOBs condition can relate to messages from an unknown source and/or to someone who is out-of-touch, here with 8th house matters and issues. Perhaps he's wandering off from a microphone or podium, forgetful of where he is and losing the thread!

Now we should also consider that the January lunar eclipse is the cosmic 'bookend' of the December 26, 2019 Solar Eclipse @4Cap07 in the 3 South Saros Series with themes of traumatic transformation and relationship endings (Brady) so its themes are yet another suggestion of major changes afoot. Plus, the Cancer eclipse hints that the public reacts to the Capricorn eclipse of 2019 and its effects in emotional and/or patriotic or nationalistic ways; Trump's insistence on protectionism comes to mind. Personally, I react with, 'America going it alone is a weakened America' while the sabotage and undermining of our nation as led by Trump continues.

As you see, communicating Mercury, planet of young people and ruler of the chart (ASC 13Gem53 with Trump's chaos-creating natal Uranus first to rise), conjoins the Sun @20Capricorn, the sign of government, law and business, so Mercury is also at critical degree. This conjunction on a political level suggests a leader (Sun) fond of his own ideas (Mercury) who doesn't listen (Mercury) to others (Full Moon = the public, and/or women). Sound like anyone you know, and perhaps like the continuing lawsuits, investigations, and scandals now in the news which are certain to continue into and through 2020? As you know, fantasist Trump's natal Mercury-Neptune square blocks both his hearing and his understanding!

Then on a behavioral level, there's quirky Uranus unaspected in money sign Taurus which emphasizes the planet's isolation and detachment qualities while hinting at spurt-like bursts of energy. Without sufficient channels through which to discharge the intense energy of Uranus which aspects would provide, nervous electrical tension can build up and increase restlessness and feelings of discontent. Uranian flashes of genius can still occur but there's less impetus to change rigid behavior patterns--implicated in this case are Taurean traits of possessiveness, selfishness, greed, and intolerance. And since on a behavioral level I often ascribe planet Uranus as a representative for Donald Trump (it's his guiding planet), I suspect this horoscope with Uranus in 12th house of Karma and Politics shows that he's feeling 'unique and unmatched' in the political arena (Tierney). However, to me Trump is more of an embarrassing sticks-out-like-a sore-thumb figure with his natal Uranus in duplicitous Gemini. And although Uranus is unaspected, it is apex planet in a midpoint picture:

Venus-North-Node = Uranus: unsettling news; disrupted meetings or contacts; polite (?) indifference to ideas (Munkasey); a quick liason; unusual friends or encounters (Ebertin). Note that Munkasey gives the Venus-North-Node pairing potentials for 'poor management or bungling of wealth' and/or 'society shapes collective destiny'. And who's our top bungler?!?

The final factor I'll mention in this my second look at the January 2020 Lunar Eclipse chart is transit Jupiter @8Cap55 opposing Trump's natal 11th house Mercury (8Can55) suggesting potentials for his grand ideas, plans, and schemes to be rejected outright and/or blocked by others, while lots of talk and no action continues as the order of the day (except for the sneaky things he and the GOP are up to while Trump distracts with his nonsense--consciously or unbeknownst in his role as the 'useful idiot'). Misjudgments on his part will affect financial and other matters (still), and more of his words and rhetoric will meet with criticism. Unimpressive may be the word, plus, Trump's lack of popularity comes to mind--and the January 2020 Lunar Eclipse will certainly uncover new facts that lead to more criticism, a lack of legal success, and a previously unknown critical or crisis situation, condition, secret or scandal--at least, it will probably uncover a tidbit or two not revealed by the 'Christmas Solar Eclipse' as 2019 concerns carry over into 2020.

Gemini Trump in Moscow with Miss Universe 2013

Here's an overdue peek at the planets during Mr. Trump's 2013 visit to Moscow for the Miss Universe Pageant, the one where tapes were allegedly made of Trump in the Presidential Suite. Apparently the reason the reputedly raunchy session with Russian working girls occurred in Trump's Moscow hotel room during the trip was to 'defile' the bed where the Obamas had previously stayed. To me, if so, this 'reason' makes Trump's lewd depravity in Moscow seem even worse via bigotry and his jealousy of Mr. Obama's popularity which Trump can never achieve. He says he's a germaphobe so the event couldn't have happened but such a condition would not have kept him from watching!

Yes, Moscow November 2013 must have been a busy if not a whirlwind weekend trip for Donald Trump. For one thing, the Miss Universe Pageant 2013 provided him with millions of dollars and a chance to make puppy eyes at Vladimir Putin who is perhaps Trump's primary role model in the realm of cold-blooded dictators. Held on November 9, 2013 at the Crocus City Hall in Krasnogorsk, a suburb of Moscow, the pageant now provides a handy reference point during the trip itself whether Trump's private goings-on were lewd or not. He has in the past repeatedly denied that he spent the night in Moscow as detailed in the Comey Memos. Yet perhaps one of the the more important points is that Trump and Putin could have met although reports say otherwise (I'm imagining Putin's dark-windowed limo waiting for Trump in an alley beyond the Crocus City Hall building and a furtive promise to help shoehorn Big T into the White House).

Well, here's a brief CNN video about the pageant which ends with a screen shot of Trump's post-pageant tweet to Aras Agalarov on *November 11, 2013 at 8:39 am (see chart notes, below). His informative tweet said, "@AgalarovAras I had a great weekend with you and your family. You have done a FANTASTIC job. TRUMP TOWER-MOSCOW is next. EMIN was WOW!". How one spends a weekend without spending at least one night is anybody's guess. Emin is Agalarov's son, a singer, and of course those are Trump's CAPs not mine.

NPR published Timeline of events yet so far I've not located an exact start time for the pageant so let's choose 9:00 pm Moscow Time on November 9, 2013 in case such a chart is needed for future reference. Note that Miss Venezuela, Gabriella Isler, was crowned Miss Universe in 2013--and you'll remember that beforehand, Trump had tweeted like a little gurrl wondering if Putin would become his "new best friend."

As usual, my study notes are penned upon the chart so hopefully you might enlarge the image to read them if you wish. You'll see that a few of Trump's planets are around the outside (like his natal Saturn--first to rise in this chart, followed by his Venus in watery Cancer) but in green are added planetary transits for today (June 21, 2019) so as you see, the problematic South-Node-Saturn-Pluto trio that everyone now deals with conjoins the Descendant (17Cap15) of this horoscope (the 7th house of Partnerships, Alliances, and Open Enemies) and which threatens his Saturn-Venus by opposition (conflicts, under pressure, and difficult legal matters).

Rising Jupiter Rx @20Can30 conjoins fixed star Castor (see the center of chart for Castor's key concepts--expanded or increased by Jupiter) and the 2013 pageant's Prenatal Solar Eclipse ('PE') in the inspirational 16 North series is highlighted in red; the PE snugs between Saturn and North Node with the pair's very interesting 'mystery of the three days' implication according to Ebertin (Saturn-NN); reflecting a public event, the Moon @10AQ23 conjoins asteroid Juno the 'Queen of Heaven'--or in this case, Miss Universe!

And notably, the passionate Venus-Pluto conjunction opposes Trump's natal Mercury (8Can51 in his 11th house of Groups, Hopes, Wishes) suggesting such potentials as: lasciviousness, desire for sensual pleasure, thinking about sexual relationships (and I would add, thinking about large amounts of hidden money and/or bankruptcy), talking about sexual diseases, and--last but not least--attracting elements of organized crime (ex: the Russian mob).

Also showing in the chart are: high excitement about ambition (Moon-Uranus = MC) promiscuity and suspicion (Neptune-NN = Venus), making contacts who can be helpful (Mercury-Saturn = NN), and fateful deception (Sun-Neptune = Pluto, the wealthy, powerful manipulator, saboteur, and criminal). Besides, when transit Pluto opposes anyone's natal Mercury possibilities include mental manipulation, obsession, and struggles for control which may involve investigation and/or the misuse of secret or confidential information (such as making tapes of naughty activities for the purpose of blackmail) while thoughts and self-expression are transformed in some fundamental way. And although greater personal power is sought, this is a negative period so plans are unlikely to turn out for the better.

A 'Trump tweet' horoscope set for November 11, 2013 at 8:39 am est NYC shows 12Sag24 rising with the harsh Saturn-Pluto midpoint (concentration upon important matters which lie before you--Ebertin--and 12Sag is often considered to be America's natal ASC: cumbersome circumstances), the Sun had reached 19Sco19 conjunct the pageant's sexy Sappho (@19Sco51 5th house, above) plus, two difficult stars in Scorpio, and a Pisces Moon had snugged between Neptune Rx and Chiron Rx in the 3rd house of Communications which suggests to me that Trump's tweet expressed a lot of unconscious emotional energy while attempting to exercise a considerable amount of psychic manipulation.

July - August 2018 Eclipses: Karma and a Slideshow!

July and August 2018 Karma Returns: first on July 12th a Solar Eclipse perfects @20Can41 in the same Prenatal Eclipse (PE) Saros Series (2 Old North) as that of Donald Trump - everyone feels it - these are critical times. Fixed star Castor is eclipsed which activates the star's potential expressions depending upon conditions and the individual's planets and motives.

Then it's a secrets-revealing Lunar Eclipse @4AQ44 conjunct US natal South Node--more karma for the reaping as scandals continue surprising.

Finally, August arrives with The Tower Solar Eclipse @19Leo in the 2 New North series which happens to be the Prenatal Eclipse of the 2018 Midterms. The US Election System collapsing? Voter suppression and other fraudulent schemes and foreign hacking negate election results? A financial crash? Trump's political/financial House of Cards falls into rubble and dust? None of the above? One clue: the last manifestation of 2 New North occurred on July 31, 2000 @8Leo so we'll see if New Millennium issues surface again from that era with new solutions possible. Also note that the 2000 eclipse @8Leo hit the natal Mercuries of Senator John McCain and the Republican Party, and if memory serves, the August 2018 repetition of 2 New North is a cosmic heads-up for karmic progress to be made because it is the PE of Sarah Huckabee Sanders, Trey Gowdy, Dennis Kucinich, and Courtney Love.

NATO Summit July 2018 marred by Donald Trump?

Official details of the 2018 NATO Summit Brussels, Belgium 11 July - 12 July reveal that the Symposium's Keynote Address is expected to be delivered on the morning of the 11th. The 2018 Summit will be held in NATO's new headquarters on Boulevard Leopold III, Brussels and a media centre will be open 24/7 beginning 10 July 0900 LT until 13 July 0900 LT. Credentials required, of course, and heavy security measures will be in force (but of course!) Ah yes, a street to memorialize King Leopold III who surrendered to the occupying Nazis in 1940. Hmm. Well, it is the Belgians' boulevard to name as they please.

NATO: The North Atlantic Treaty Organization 1949 to...?

Founded via the signature of President Harry Truman on August 24, 1949 (11:42 am edt Washington DC with Sun 1Vir07; Moon 7Vir52, Saturn 8Vir28, Mercury 24Vir31; ASC 2Sco57; MC 8Leo37), the very Virgoan North Atlantic Treaty Organization has been a thorn in the side of Vladimir Putin but perhaps not for much longer since, as you know, the skunk at the NATO garden party 2018 will be one Donald Trump who tends to do 'just what Putin would do!' and has expressed disfavor against the organization. Or rather, he wants other members to pay more and given his past history as a crook who kowtows to Russia, yours truly tends to wonder if he thinks he can keep the additional gains for himself! well, America has and does contribute the most funds for NATO and Washington does spend US taxpayer money on global copping duties on behalf of the international corporate syndicate at the expense of the American people's needs--which is the typical GOP 'guns over butter' philosophy enabled by complicit corporate Democrats. And of course, NATO was designed to protect our allies so they don;t have to do it for themselves. Actually, Does Trump have a point?

Yet more simply, part of Trump's deeper motive may be to crack NATO into pieces or at least weaken it considerably at the 'request' of V. Putin with a further undermining of the cohesiveness of the EU, a Putin desire. See What Country Does John Bolton Work For Anyway? And as Vice News puts it, Trump is using US troops as a bargaining chip to raise NATO defense spending so that allies will live up to their promises...or else. Mr. Trump seems to see much value in creating hostage situations and has been sending threatening 'ransom' letters to NATO allies, as CNN details.

So there must be astrological factors showing current challenges to the organization, right? Using the 1949 founding chart of NATO, let's have a look-see at a bi-wheel of the 1949 chart with the approximate time of the NATO Summit opening (keynote address) on the 'morning' of July 11, 2018--meanwhile, a Solar Eclipse in Trump's Prenatal Eclipse (PE) series perfects during the Summit as you see by the horoscope (set for the White House). The 2 Old North Eclipse perfects in Brussels hours after Mr. Trump would have left and you know that he does like to cut out early from group settings in case he's overly challenged concerning the damage he's done, plus, he's uncomfortable when his ego suspects that he isn't the most famous person in the room. Besides, his sudden departures are so...so...dramatic!

Yes, my scribbles are way messy but please enlarge the image to read basic chart notes. As you see, some of Mr. Trump's natal positions are marked around the chart/s in blue but notice that the NATO South Node 17Lib29 in natal 12th house of Large Institutions, Politics, Self-Undoing, and Karma is the karmic and separative point where Trump's natal Jupiter (in Libra: "it's not fair!") and Putin's natal Saturn (authority, restriction, limits) - both planets @17Lib27 - sneak in through a back door. Or maybe it's via their conjunction that they intend to drain (SN-Saturn) energy and funds (Jupiter) out of the room (12th house) and further their ill-disguised attempts to undermine the organization as saboteurs acting as NATO's 'not-so-secret' enemies.

A Solar Eclipse, Castor, NATO's Mars and Transit Mars Rx

Now since this is a post, not a book, I won't type any more than I must but we should mention the transit of retrograde activist Mars conjunct NATO's natal IC (8AQ37). Mars turned Rx on June 26, 2018 @9AQ13 so he had crossed NATO's IC, then in Rx mode re-crossed the Angle which represents The End of the Matter and The Drain. Out-of-bounds as well, this is a testy Mars, a law unto himself, and on one level can signify Donald Trump because he was born with Mars rising in Leo. And we know Putin's pal is in process of challenging America's traditional allies and putting in a 'good word' for Vladimir while 'in the house' of the NATO Summit.

Yet let's not forget that puppet master Pluto of the Underworld is nearby (in Capricorn = the dictator) creepily approaching NATO's natal 3rd house Jupiter (Rx @23Cap19). Pluto the Dragon possesses massive amounts of hidden wealth and treasure but always wants more. So when transit Pluto hits natal Jupiter endeavors include gaining greater power and influence, regaining what was lost in the past, and playing a karmic role in current events. Negatively, intolerance and fanaticism are potentials which must be avoided during this transit if karmic setbacks are to be avoided.

Now Mr. Trump's 2 Old North eclipse @20Can41 occurs in NATO's natal 9th house conjunct its natal Mars (21Can21) and having transit Mars causing turbulence at natal IC as he prepares to enter NATO's natal 4th house can denote increased enthusiasm for new (ad)ventures but negatively suggests quarrels and disagreements. Plus, you see NATO's full 10th house of planets: Pluto, Sun, Moon, and Saturn--all of which tr Mars will oppose after turning direct in late August 2018. The turbulence really focuses around mid-August when transit Mars will oppose NATO's natal Pluto, a karmic period of time when deliberately antagonizing others can lead to regrettable altercations and any effort to control or manipulate situations or events tends to have the opposite effect. Once Mars enters Pisces, opposing natal Sun in Virgo, Mars isn't cooperating with leadership and relationships are strained; opposing natal Moon, Mars tends to arouse rage in others (purposefully, one assumes) and danger enters the environment (if it wasn't already there) such as via fires, explosions, or chemicals. If such trouble occurs, the public (Moon) may be adversely affected but certainly publicity concerning such events will be widely seen (across the 4/10 security axis).

Actually, by the close of the Summit ('early afternoon 12 July') in Brussels, the Summit's Sun will be exactly opposed by Pluto Rx, both at critical-crisis degrees (20Can-20Cap). Suggested potentials of the opposition are: power plays, a contest of wills, intimidation, attempts to collect on past debts, challenges to authority, ruthless actions, manipulation, abuse of power, deflated egos, retreats to isolation, exploitation, insufficient power to cope with events or decisions of others, impotency...any, all, or none may apply. This may turn out to be a real stinker of a summit! And difficult Castor's presence conjunct the Sun and Trump's eclipse will provide a negative influence.

Progressions: Looking Ahead

Now if we look to the Secondary Progressions (SP) of NATO's natal planets, we find that as far as the organization can expand into the world in this era--when it reaches its natural limit--is timed by an upcoming SP Full Moon which perfects @13Tau07 (SP Sun 13Sco07--where transit Jupiter Rx is today as I type!) on November 15, 2022. As you know, plenty of shifts and upheavals in the heavens and on Earth are due in the years 2020 into 2022 including January 12, 2020's Great Conjunction of Saturn and Pluto (DC Horoscope shown), plus, America's first-ever Pluto Return/s (PE chart shown) so let's not attempt to list them here other than to close with a few links for the curious:
