California Horoscope 1850

One result of the Compromise of 1850 is that sunny California became a state. Considering current events of a disturbing nature involving ICE agents and the National Guard, below are two horoscopes: California September 9, 1850 9:32 am LMT San Jose, California (data provided by expert astrologer Elizabeth Grace) along with the 15 North Solar Eclipse of August 7, 1850 @14Leo56 which influenced the formation of the state.

Solar Eclipses in Leo relate to potentials for leadership, authority, vigor, and resolve. Yet for karmic progress to be made, negative traits of Leo must be avoided such as vanity, pomposity, ostentation, egocentricity, and diffidence regarding problems in need of solutions (R. Lineman).

You'll note that the Compromise of 1850 was intended as a solution to America's slavery issue but the topic is beyond the scope of this particular post, meager as it is.

Friedrich Trump 1869--1918

This post is inspired by the recent Live coverage in the Oval Office of German Chancellor Friedrich Merz presenting Mr. Trump with a framed copy of the birth certificate of his ancestor, Friedrich Trump, born in Germany (Chump descends from immigrants as most all Americans obviously do). And available here is a dual image of Grandpa Trump's natal chart set for sunrise (Sun @23Pis42) on March 14, 1869 Kollstadt, Germany (lower left) and his Death Chart (upper right) using the same hour on March 30, 1918 Queens, NY (but a different time zone so adjust the timing as you wish).

For as you know, when son Fred was about 13 years old, his Dad, "Grandpa Trump" was taken away by the Spanish flu which was sadly going around and is more correctly known as The Great Influenza Pandemic of 1918 to 1920:

Meanwhile, the Trump family story goes that Grandpa T left Germany for America to avoid military service in his native country and made at least part of his fortune in the US by running brothels and saloons for gold miners, last I heard. However, it's true that I wasn't there but that's what yours truly has been told.

Review: Jeffrey Epstein's Death Chart

Back in late April 2023, we took a look at Jeffrey Epstein's 'noon' natal horoscope (January 20, 1953) surrounded by the reported date and time that he was found dead in his prison cell after allegedly hanging himself (while unwatched and unattended by guards since 10:30 pm edt the night before).

Since the bi-wheel of charts in the previous post is messily squooshed up with an abundance of my astro-notes, here is the same bi-wheel of natal and found horoscopes unmarked for any curious reader who may be visiting SO'W:

Not shown is a chart for the reported time that a 911 call was placed: August 10, 2019 6:39 am edt. And as you see, in the found chart, the Moon @20Sag23 conjuncts Tr*mp's natal South Node, then floats on to perform a Tr*mp Lunar Return at 8:02:13 am edt - also on August 10, 2019.

And it might be significant that Tr*mp's next Mars Return perfected two days later on August 12, 2019. Or not. You decide.

DC Horoscope: Citizens United

At last, I'm publishing a DC Horoscope of the Citizens United decision of January 21, 2010, which "opened the floodgates for special interests," according to then-President Obama, and made possible the destruction of democracy via election funding by wealthy corporations and entities here and abroad. As we both know, this political shift is precisely the sort of thing America's Founding Fathers warned future generations to avoid.

Yet now in 2025, such funding supports the "Dark Enlightenment" that Pluto-in-Aquarius technocrats are working to implement - in other words, Technocracy, with Silicon Valley types in control of America while Elon Musk quarrels with an age'd Tr*mp - and some say, Elon plans to replace the old fella with J.D. Vance, a creation of technocrat Peter Thiel.

Notably, the anti-democracy boys' "dark enlightenment" morass is the opposite of the traditional Enlightenment principles (Uranus-Neptune) that our nation was founded upon, striving though failing to reach them as closely as we would wish. But that's no reason to give up trying!

So for the curious reader, here is a DC Horoscope of the Citizens United decision (5 to 4) handed down on January 21, 2010 and set for 2:00 pm est. So Who's "Untouchable" in the White House?

Dear Reader, have you heard that we have an 'Untouchable' in the White House?

Well, of course this could describe the slippery "Teflon Don" who so far escapes all accountability, as many folks have marveled through the years. But now the rumor is, it's Teflon's close adviser Stephen Miller, deporter-in-chief, and a fellow identified by his own Sun-Moon personality blend as a "bulldozer."

And then, so that you may appreciate Mr. Miller's supreme splendor as you wish, here's his natal horoscope surrounding Inauguration Day planets way back in 2017, his first year to grasp the White House helm, and the place where he apparently believes his brand of brutal unAmerican activities belongs:

In 1961 America Nearly Nuked North Carolina

If you've never read or heard about the 1961 Goldsboro/B-52 Crash when a bomber broke up mid-air due to a fuel leak and two nuclear bombs were dropped near Goldsboro, North Carolina, you're not in for a treat if you do so now.

Besides the perilous feelings that such a catastrophic event engenders in us all (or simply the thought of it), a further point of interest for me personally is that Goldsboro in Wayne County, NC was the site of a Civil War hospital during the fractious war and subsequently, a Civil War Memorial was created - in other words, there's a mass grave in which at least one of my twice-great-grandfathers rests. Notably, there are both CSA and Union soldiers resting there because casualties from both sides of the war were treated at the hospital with many soldiers dying from disease.

100 Years Later Catastrophe Avoided

Well, if the B-52's nukes that fell on January 24, 1961 - a significant event in US history and covered up at the time with details only surfacing in 2013 - hadn't turned out as it did with one safety switch doing its job, there would have been many more deaths in the Goldsboro NC area back in 1961. Yet sadly, not every airman aboard the B-52 bomber made it to safety. For further details, check out the event's Wikipedia page linked, above.

A Cosmic Time Link: 1961 to 1861

It occurs to me that certain horoscopes may be of interest to the curious reader. Generously marked by my scribbled astro-notes, below is a bi-wheel with the Civil War Horoscope of 1861 (inner) surrounded by a Horoscope set for January 24, 1961 and timed by the exact opposition between the Moon in Taurus and Neptune in Scorpio on that January day, merely as a symbolic chart.

This planetary pair suggests potentials for confusion, deception, illusions, exploitation, 'life crises caused by indolence or laziness' (R. Ebertin) so I must wonder if someone along the way may have been impaired by alcohol or other drugs - perhaps in the maintenance department? Alternately, the celebratory mood of the country on behalf of JFK's victory may have played a part. But these are only wonderings. Don't take them seriously!

Now as you see, the bi-wheel displays a few of the significant Sabian Symbols, plus, the 17 New North Eclipse Series in which 1961's horrific incident occurred. Notably, the 17NN Eclipse @28Virgo with its "hectic socializing" and "impulsive energies" also influenced two other major events: Election 1960 and JFK's Inauguration of 1961 - with his Oath of Office taken a mere four days earlier than the B-52 Bomber catastrophe over Goldsboro, NC.

You'll find 1960's 17NN conjunct the Descendant of the Civil War Horoscope and with 1961's 17NN opposing 1861 Neptune, potentials for confusion, chaos, and self-delusion are increased. Then if we wish to add 1961's 17NN opposing 1861 Mercury, wishy-washy decision-making enters the picture (R. Lineman):

Elon Musk exits Trump admin

Leaving behind the damage he's done to our government and our lives, Elon Musk announced yesterday on his "X" platform that his time as a "Special Government Employee" has come to an end.

This post will serve as a brief end-of-the-week post due to my family arriving in Raleigh this evening for a few days' visit. :)

Now as you see below, a bi-wheel of the Musk natal horoscope (inner) is shown surrounded by yesterday's noon chart set for Praetoria, SA; Significantly, DOGE technocrats (Pluto in Aquarius) continue to operate, havoc and all, and leading a ruthless Locomotive shape of planets.

Then perhaps we might ask, did "Icarus Elon" fly too high to the Sun (DJT) and find that his wings have melted?

Well, his recent SpaceX launch fell apart upon entry due to a leak, if that tells us anything. So I'll add to the charts the placements of his natal Icarus and Phaethon, their transiting positions, along with other tidbits of information such as the current 9 New North Eclipse (@9Aries in his 9th house of Foreign Lands) being the Eclipse Saros Series into which little baby Elon was born with 9NN themes that include sudden physical events (Brady).

Additionally, multiple astro-notes penned on the charts reveal separation and tension in relationships, an urge to be liberated from said tension, and thereby to find greener pastures elsewhere - all this as transit Chiron prepares to cross his Career and Aspiration Point (MC) which denotes a desire for freedom and/or a search for knowledge of a pioneering nature (Aries):

Now as you can see, there's a good bit of Jupiter activity between the charts suggesting that finances are a major part of Elon's 'exit' strategy along with feeling thwarted in the achievement of his goals - by Tr*mp's so-called "big beautiful" financial package which ostensibly would undercut Musk's DOGE "savings" that strive to beggar the rest of us.

Well, there seems to be some truth to this justification when we consider that Elon's Mars in Aquarius opposes Don the con's natal Mars in Leo across the Self-Will axis.

For as many have said, a break-up between these two massive egos was only a matter of time.

Saturn: America's Credibility-Authenticity-Authority Gap

No longer exalted in the Scales of Justice sign of Libra, America's legal-eagle planet Saturn symbolically progressed a few years ago into Scorpio, a transformative placement for the status quo, law-and-order planet.

Then last August, when we discussed how US Saturn Turned Rx by Progression in January 1997 during Republicans' "vast right-wing conspiracy" attacks against Democratic President Bill Clinton, it seems apparent to me that America's credibility, authenticity, and authority in the world were harmed.

Whether the US public back then agreed with the Republican or the Democratic side of the issues, damage was done to our nation's position on the world stage. However, this was but one step of many on the ladder toward the destruction of our democratic Republic, the US Constitution, and the presidency (not that ladies' man Bill's actions did the Executive Branch any favors by succumbing to Monica's crush).

In 2025 Things Have Escalated Downward

Perhaps allowing a convicted felon with a criminal reputation into the Oval Office - not once but twice - has been the Republican Party's idea all along. After all, the GOP did change identity around the time of the party's three-fer Neptune Return (1854 to 2017/18 = Tr*mp again) to mid-Pisces, as their underhanded "win at any cost" tactics increased, you may remember. What a handy dandy way to discredit America and our often-touted White House of Masonic Lodge fame!

So now, in this my 20th year of writing Stars Over Washington, I sadly suspect that all my fussing about what's being done to America is no longer needed because the worst has happened and we clearly see before our eyes and recognize the saboteurs of our country and our lives by their unconstitutional actions, do we not?

For as you've heard, anti-societal members of the House passed Tr*mp's death-dealing bill (did pal Put*n write it?) by One Vote: 215-214 along party lines on Thursday morning (5/22/25 6:56 am edt), and you know which political party is to blame as House members return home next week for their ill-deserved break. Much hiding from their constituents will likely take place by the we*sely cow*rds.

So will the US Senate make changes to the (Orwellian named) "big beautiful bill" and pass it into law? This remains to be seen but one suspects that Republican senators will cave to "The Big Picture" which is what I believe the GOP/Heritage Foundation's purge agenda is part of - and we can see this through a certain transit of power-mad Pluto in 2017:

Naturally under the rays of the Full Moon of July 10, 2025 @18Cap50 we may expect the uncovering or leaking of secrets and/or inconvenient facts much as Lunar Eclipses tend to do. This lunation lands in the midst of the three Uranus-Neptune Conjunction/s of 1993 so a midpoint picture could be considered if we wish - from Noel Tyl (Solar Arcs #ad) we have emotional conviction, real or fanciful, plus, the sense of being on the right track to do one's best.

Now as you know, the Uranus-Neptune duo is The Enlightenment~Illumination pair of planets (faith and reason shake hands - if only!) so Maga's tiresome "woke" accusation and their anti-woke agenda might be spotlighted in some way by the July 10, 2025 Full Moon within the realms of Capricorn's government, law, business, and investment interests along with Work-Home and Security Concerns. Or, lunation-based revelations may begin to appear a few days earlier than July 10th, perhaps around the time of America's 2025 Solar Return, our nation's 249th.

Even the European Union could be tucked under this July 2025 Full Moon umbrella since the lunation spotlights the EU's Uranus-Neptune Conjunction at its founding. And some say the EU was formed as a "new world order" entity but perhaps the global jury of social meddlers still ruminates over that potential. Meanwhile, the worldwide fascist 'death cult' movement made up of criminal networks now rearing its ugly Medusa-head has a domination agenda of its own. And the dark one is the one that Mr. T favors.

Uranus-Neptune: Awake v Elimination of the Waking Consciousness (R. Ebertin)

Thing is, today a headline appeared that said Mr. T insists that the days of "woke" are over. This is just what a gnatzie authoritarian who can't stand criticism would say! Especially when history must be hidden so that today's criminals can crime again in similar ways, and America's enlightenment principles of equality, liberty, and justice are being tossed into history's dustbin for the sake of fascism.

Then with all the financial funny business now being perpetrated from inside the mob-infested White House and the bald-faced "DOGE" thievery, the July Full Moon obviously relates to total awareness via uncovering and/or leaking, as noted, of the swindling, fraudsterism, and crooked dealings that the American people are being subjected to against our wills - and to the possible endings of certain relationships.
