Astro-Notes re: One World Government

Way back in December 2014, a Modern NWO Horoscope was published to SO'W with details. Dated October 24, 1993 and based on the third of three Uranus-Neptune Conjunctions @18Capricorn, the third Conjunction occurred within the 13 South Saros Series of May 21, 1993 @00Gem31 with potentials for 'constitutional crisis' (what the enemies of a democratic America need to proceed with their global agenda), and 'sinister energies' as they 'strive for group endeavors, either positively or negatively' (Predictive Astrology, B. Brady #ad).

As you see by its 00Gemini degree, the eclipse joined forces with a fixed star, Alcyone (Eta Tauri, brightest of the Pleiades; keywords: 'something to cry about'; mystical but judgmental'). Alcyone's conjunction with the solar eclipse ramped up the misfortune level to potentials for facial injuries, imprisonment, disgrace, and/or an evil disposition which naturally adds fuel to 13 South's sinister energies.

A 13 South solar eclipse last manifested in 2011, and the next will occur in 2029.

So below is a freshly marked, time-corrected NWO Horoscope which may be enlarged for better viewing if you like. Around the chart and highlighted in blue are today's transiting planets with transit Saturn Rx prominently crossing and recrossing the early Pisces Ascendant, and transit Mars nearing October 1993's 9th house Jupiter in Libra; Venus @10Libra leads a BOWL shape of planets and will be eclipsed on October 2, 2024 by an 8 South Solar Eclipse (@10Libra) with themes of 'separation, loss,' and possible 'injury'; therefore, money, evaluations, perspectives, and relationships may be involved:

In addition, we should add a few details concerning the Uranus-Neptune duo of energies. I believe it's no coincidence that extremist Republicans have attempted to make being what they call woke "a thing" (a negative thing!) since the primary principle of Uranus-Neptune according to Reinhold Ebertin is, "Elimination of the waking consciousness."

Ebertin then cites potentials for 'inner vision, inner illumination, enlightenment, inspiration, idealism, interest in spiritual subjects, mysticism,' and 'art'. Obviously, these are potentials that Republican politicians don't want us to engage in or be aware of (they're civilizing!), for they prefer us to be unconscious of inconvenient circumstances, conditions, and the plights of others - because then improvements may be necessary! In other words, Republican saboteurs don't want us to have nice things.

Meanwhile, the total Great American Eclipse of April 8, 2024 (the third of 3) contains Uranus-Neptune enlightenment vibes, 'great ideas, and visions' so we'll see who manages to remain asleep under those inspirational influences! After all, everyone must awaken from deep sleep at some time or another.

Uranus-Neptune: A Stellar Pedigree

Basically, I'd say that since Uranus and Neptune conjoined during the European Enlightenment of the 18th century, and because America is founded upon Enlightenment principles, these are some of the concepts that extremist Republicans don't want the American people to be mindful of, for then, comparing our traditional freedom and equality aspirations with the zealots' global take-over plan of fascist totalitarianism determined to implement a feudal system in America, makes for a very bad look for the GOP saboteurs of democracy.

Congress' Saturn Return 2024 and Election 2024

US Congress' 3-fer Saturn Return of Accountability

This post is a reminder that in the pivotal year of 2024, the US Congress (first session March 4, 1789) will receive a three-fer Saturn Return to the legislative branch's 1789 position of Saturn @13Pis38:11. The dates are: 1. April 1, 2024; 2. October 12, 2024; 3. December 18, 2024. The rounded-up Sabian Symbol degree (14 Pisces) is "A Lady in Fox Fur," which we've seen before via gaslighting Neptune in the 1854 Republican Party Horoscope. The negative side of the foxy word picture is "immoral opportunism." Now as you see, Election 2024 occurs between the second and third Saturn Returns with election results which may or may not be determined by or before December 18th. Of course, Saturnian authenticity is involved as well, or it should be! And I don't refer to the old 'politicians kissing babies' ploy.

Then of course, karmic Saturn's persistent demand for accountability is already in motion in 2023 and will naturally continue to be a major part of Campaign 2024 as the November 2024 Elections near, with authoritative lawmaker Saturn also known as the 'legal eagle' planet. Along with the presidency, congressional races are squarely in Saturn's 2024 spotlight of scrutiny, we might say, as timed by Congress' Saturn Return occurring during an election year.

Note that triple returns of planets tend to occur when lessons have yet to be learned and applied correctly with Saturn, or, with a planet like Mercury, ideas, plans, and/or reforms require a period during which they can be accepted and utilized (using the denial-acceptance-resolution model of retrogradation). If they will be, that is. After all, some people never learn, and I'm guessing that we both know someone like that.

Government, Law, Responsibility, Accountability

Significantly for the US Congress, all 435 seats in the House and 34 of 100 seats in the Senate will be up for grabs along with the Presidential and Vice Presidential offices in the 2024 Elections. Taking on the responsibilities of office and accepting commitments as presented are always on the menu during all elections whether candidates recognize this or not--and for America, Election 2024 will determine our country's future of democracy or barbarism, and will either hold up our tradition of Rule of Law, or not.

Note that these past Republican antics of non-governing occurred under the US Congress's Saturn Return of March 1, 1993, and future bouts of government shutdowns cannot not be ruled out with debt ceiling refusal again part of the GOP's bag of tricks.

We the People: Neglected Saturnian Demands

When the Republicans "masterminded" their anti-responsibility 1995 and 1996 government shutdowns for a total of 26 days, Bill Clinton was president and radical reformer Newt Gingrich (who shares the Sun Gem-Moon Sag personality blend as the orange albatross) was leading the Contract With America scam, or, 'Contract On America', as it's unfondly known around here. Unfondly known because Republican policies and reforms tend to be pro-corporate-and-wealthy classes and anti the rest of us. So for this particular Child of the Revolution at this time in history, "economic royalists," no matter their political party, belong elsewhere than in a democratic Republic.

Note that the Republicans' 1995-1996 antics of non-governing occurred under the US Congress's Saturn Return of February 22, 1995, and that future bouts of government shutdowns cannot not be ruled out with debt ceiling refusal again part of the GOP's bag of tricks. Of course, no one needs Astrology to tell them of this power-grabbing threat with Saturn one of the planets of control (as you know, Pluto is the other planet of manipulation and control, but with a more distant influence such as a puppetmaster, blackmailer, or thug enforcer).

Then There's Another Saturn Return Affecting the US

More recently came a third of three Saturn Returns, this time for the US Constitution with #3 on January 10, 2023; also shown in the post is the freedom document's previous Saturn Return of March 1, 1993, the year of the three Great Conjunctions of Uranus and Neptune, the planetary pair of what today's Republicans scoff at as wokeness but back in the day, they were planets of The Enlightenment, aka, The Age of Reason with Uranus signifying Reason and Science (and thus, critical thinking and logic), and Neptune representing Faith, Mysticism, and Superstition.

So when the two generational planets with their 171-year cycle joined together in 1993 at or about the 18th degree of Saturn-ruled Capricorn (a degree of POLITICAL POWER and "smug or strong-armed paternalism"--Jones), the centuries-old debate between reality vs fantasy was geared up for the ideological battle now being waged by maga seditionist types.

Then for political purposes, energies of the 1993 Conjunction were catapulted into higher gear in 2017 when transit Pluto reached the Uranus-Neptune conjunction and a midpoint picture formed of Uranus-Neptune = tr Pluto: 'The big picture commands a certain course of action which must be followed; very little option to do otherwise' (Solar Arcs, N. Tyl #ad). And you know who 2017 Pluto symbolizes, of course, with his deadly 12th house midpoint picture of natal Pluto = Mars-Saturn conjunct the 'death axis'. And this barbaric animalism is what zealous authoritarian soldiers are aiming for now as they act on behalf of a Christo-Fascist empire while under the zombie-like influence of mass delusion promoted by a certain cult leader convincing them that they act for a purged and improved America. Willing self-deception abounds, and his vision of "American carn*ge" arrived with Pluto 2017. Because violence is part of 'the big picture' for the "leaders" who have the stomach for it.

Meanwhile, my belief in our era of history is that the centuries-old battle of "Enlightenment" knowledge and awareness vs darkness and ignorance is what Republicans such as Florida's Ron DeSantis are working to reignite as a regressive style of codified religion tries to take over the US government, and critical thinking and Science are considered to be erroneous. Book banning is a good example of their anti-societal efforts, while the ongoing Republican attack against Science, scientists, and education continues to cause turmoil and disruption in society, medically (ex: repeal of Roe v Wade), and otherwise.

Okay, here's the end of my final fuss for the week of June 19, 2023. But fret not for I entertain no expectation that this post will be shared, for I doubt that any reader ever does. But at least--perhaps--my sincere hope is that you're planning to Vote Blue in 2024! If so, my work is done, and I Thank You for reading this post.

Maddow: Trump's anti-Semitic speakers welcomed to pro-Hitler Event May 12, 2023

Pro-Hitler forces in the US are continuing their "Reawaken America Tour" including a pro-Hitler event to be held this weekend at Trump's National Doral golf resort May 12 and 13, 2023. The event sports quite a line-up of Nazi supporters including Eric, and I suppose, Donald Trump. In fact, many of the maga crazies will participate.

So for pro-democracy voters who may not be certain who to avoid in the 2024 voting booth and who to stop sending money to, the list of the Doral event's speakers is a handy way of identifying the traitors to American Democracy, although the list may not contain every name.

MSNBC's Rachel Maddow reports:

So here's a question: if these anti-societal saboteurs who love Herrs Adolf and Trump "reawaken" America, then won't their followers be woke? Of course, their actual intention is to indoctrinate the masses with their bigoted brand of hatred and resentment against humanity!

And here's another question with cosmic implications:

Which planetary pair relates to concepts of awakeness, wokeness, awareness, or of the lack thereof? That would be The Enlightenment duo, Uranus-Neptune, which last met in Great Conjunction three times in 1993 in the 18-to-20-degree range of Saturn-ruled Capricorn, traditionally the sign of government, law, and business. Since their cycle lasts 171 years, 1993 began their current cycle.

Then on a political level, the Uranus-Neptune duo indicates potentials for "changes in social and political structures due to new ideals and dreams of the future" along with "revolutions, strikes," and "subversion" (Munkasey) but I am compelled to add that the domination dreams of the Austrian psychopath of the 1930s and 1940s and his death cult are not 'new' at all but are as old as evil itself. Therefore, We the People must awaken to the fact that these fascist criminals are current-day Nazi lovers who consider themselves in line to continue Herr Adolf's barbaric mission to ethnically "cleanse" the world.

So for readers who dare to look at such difficult conditions, and in the spirit of Forewarned is Forearmed, please note that transit Saturn in early Pisces will join, even activate, the Fascism Rising Eclipse of 1933 which suggests that Saturn in Pisces symbolizes, on a deep level, America's enemies who have taken on the responsibility of carrying forward Herr Adolf's mission of primal violence in an updated attempt to take control of America and thus destroy democracy from the face of the Earth.

When we think of financial systems, powerful handlers of money such as bankers, politicians, power-brokers, Wall Street gentry, financiers, Federal Reserve officials, corporatists and other powerful movers and shakers, we naturally think of the Jupiter-Pluto planetary combination. And now that the stage-managed "debt ceiling crisis" is being tried on again by hostage-taking Republicans, as in 1995 and 2011, we look for information within the current Jupiter-Pluto Cycle which began in 2020 with three conjunctions - the first on April 5th, the third on November 12, 2020.

Jupiter-Pluto's 13-Year Cycle Began in 2020

Below is the previously published horoscope of the third conjunction of Jupiter and Pluto @22Cap51, in the highly sensitized 'governmental' degrees which also relate to the objectification of other people, whether in Capricorn or Cancer - and note that the 2020 conjunction manifested upon the natal Vertex ('VX') of gold-lover Donald Tr*mp, as did the Saturn-Pluto Conjuncton of January 12, 2020, the 'hardship' duo such as Republicans threaten now:

As you see, rising over the Capitol Building at the moment the 2020 Jupiter-Pluto Conjunction #3 perfected is 17Tau10 where radical Uranus cavorts. And with YOD patterns indicating conditions of crises, turning points, crossroads, special tasks, and/or karmic opportunities, we see in the horoscope that a pseudo-YOD exists when the Ascendant sextile Neptune (18Pis14 Rx) is considered as the pattern's base - but an element of timing comes into play once radical reformer Uranus arrives by transit and replaces the Ascendant in the YOD pattern.

As a result, apex planets activated by the YOD's Uranus-Neptune sextile (untapped energy sources) are the Moon and Venus (working together = good judgment of values) in 6th house, with Venus one of the money planets, and the Moon conjunct the natal 2nd house Jupiter of Mr Tr*mp. Perhaps we can agree that agent orange is a primary villain behind Speaker McCarthy's threat to crash the global economy if he and his maga-ites don't get their wish to cause misery and suffering across the land - why, Rs even want to cut veterans' benefits!

Of course, collapsing the US government is the goal of the GOP so that a nazi-style regime can be installed - with all the sadism and brutality this implies. Plus, note that the Jupiter-Pluto Conjunction perfected in the 9th house of Foreign Lands which suggests interference in our 'debt ceiling crisis' from abroad. Or perhaps instructions and orders from abroad would be closer to the truth.

And it's revealing that chaos-creator Uranus, the planet of zealotry and fanaticism, now completes the energy circuit of the 2020 YOD because the Uranian anarchists of the Republican Party, peeking out from behind Kevin McCarthy, are the ones forcing the issue as they attempt to shove President Biden into a corner over social safety net programs. As we know from past exerience, a debt default would make America a third-world country and this would please our country's enemies, domestic and foreign, with millions of American jobs lost, and bringing more of the "American carnage" promised by Herr Trump.

Apex Planets Moon and Venus

Then as we see with the activated YOD, it's time to step up via the apex planets, Moon and Venus, which are feminine, and the activated YOD indicates that the time has come to swing into action and address and solve a variety of societal problems, not just economic ones - problems such as testifying in court against predators, speaking up against crooked SCOTUS justices, and voting for common sense solutions in any situation that involves powerful people of wealth and public status who act against society, among other things. Yet it's true that the mundane Moon also symbolizes We the People and Venus = the ladies!

Meanwhile, it remains to be seen whether those in charge will come up with new and better ways of dealing with current issues before the clock runs out on our democratic Republic. Personally, my prayers are with and for leaders of good faith and concern for their fellow women and men. Therefore, my hope for avoiding 'US default' now rests with a secret plot via Rep. Mark Desaulnier (D-CA) and H.R. 626, a discharge petition to force a vote that by-passes the plans of Speaker McCarthy and his maga insurrectionists who'd rather 'burn it all down'!

Now according to congressional rules, on May 16, 2023, Democrats can begin collecting names on the discharge petition and we should note that five Republicans are needed to sign as well for a total of 218. Then with the debt default crisis out of the way, fiscal responsibility can rear its head as common sense negotiations on the budget move forward without any pearl-clutching at all.

Humanity at the Crossroads of Destiny

In a September 2020 post concerning Mars stationing @29Aries on September 9th, we discussed the station degree's Sabian Symbol, The Music of the Spheres. Also mentioned in the post was a certain aspect that reminds me somewhat of those 'wild cards of the Universe', those 'cosmic blinks' we Earthlings know as eclipses.

So as regular readers of SO'W may know, eclipses often turn up in my posts primarily because eclipse cycles are informative when it comes to the study of historical cycles, and because eclipse themes are descriptive of energies, influences, and conditions running in the background of society during the period an eclipse is operative.

Such a lovely cosmic Symbol for activist planet of motivation and desire, Mars, isn't it? Thing is, it's one degree after the position of J6 Mars @30Aries once the planet of violence and protests turned Direct in mid-Aries at the November 14, 2020 "maga Million-Man March" on Washington on behalf of bu*t-hurt election-loser, Donald Tr*mp. Trumpist resentments were made clear that day! But they were made even clearer when transit Mars - males, some in, some out of militia outfits - went on to viciously attack the US Congress on January 6, 2021 in a coup attempt meant to stop or disrupt Congress' Vote Certification of Joe Biden's victory.

Then as you know, hours later President Biden's victory was certified despite Trump's desperate desire to hold on to power. J6 Mars: "30Aries": "A Duck Pond and Its Brood" - instigated by a brooding Herr Tr*mp, monarch-wanna-be.

Uranus-Neptune: Such Irrational Times We Live In

Now yes, it's as tiresome to type once again about the world's ongoing misfortune as it is for you to read of it, but there's a particular reason to mention these topics today: because over our heads, two transpersonal planets, Uranus and Neptune, are in septile aspect with one another. Septiles represent The Grand Irrationality, writes expert astrologer Robert Wilkinson (see his article link in the post noted, above), and I'll add that during these septilian times (see what I did there?!), and with the Uranus-Neptune pair known as both the 'new world order' and The Enlightenment duo, travel in a septile aspect (51:26 degrees, to be exact), indicating that the karmic pair "underscores our Collective feeling that humanity is at the crossroads of destiny".

Therefore, it's understandable that those receptive to otherworldly influences of a higher plane are feeling such difficult energies subtly acting upon and within the Collective. Not that knowledge of Astrology is necessary, for astrological principles only attempt to describe reflections, in an As Above, So Below kind of way.

And we know that, even with our country's global leadership role seriously undermined by enemies at home and abroad, it remains true that where America goes, so goes the world. At least that's the sinister plan of America's enemies in this Freedom vs Slavery (Uranus vs Neptune) conflict of good vs evil. Destructive forces are seeking to re-establish antiquated notions and negative conditions! How daft that humanity should regress!

Yes, regressive anti-societal forces must be resisted even while the septile suggests the concept of an "existential crisis" so often mentioned these days in the form of America's obvious democracy vs fascism standoff, and which also echoes the imperatives of a YOD planetary pattern of 'turning points-crossroads-special tasks' and/or 'karmic opportunities' - at least for those "woke" enough to realize that the time to take action on behalf of democracy is NOW, but may also benefit the privileged few who have the where-with-all to consider crises as opportunities.

Dec 7, 2022 Full Moon Spotlights Infamy

In a Gullible World Morality in War is M.I.A.

Embedded within our country's collective memory is the "date that will live in infamy," as cited by FDR, and known as the Attack on Pearl Harbor carried out just before 8:00 am local time on December 7, 1941 (Honolulu, Hawaii).

Synchronistically, a cosmic time link is in process because December 7, 2022 brings a Full Moon @16Gem02 conjunct 1941 Jupiter Rx @16Gem30; this suggests a link to moral and ethical values yet with 1941 Sun opposing Jupiter, we might suspect that egotistical goals must have muddied the morality of the situation, as war always does. For when a population is 'lied into war', the entire endeavor is marred by deception, fraud, and illusion. Understandably, disillusionment with leaders inevitably follows and We the People lose trust in our government. This we know, for lies have been used against the American people in subsequent years to galvanize the US military into action, among other misguided activities (US 1776 Mars-Neptune square).

In view of this, let's note that a certain conspiracy theory has been proposed through the decades: that the FDR administration knew ahead of time of the 1941 attack but declined to intervene so that the US could "righteously" declare war upon Japan (with Congress necessarily aiding and abetting through an official declaration). If so, FDR's war declaration of December 8, 1941 was not righteous at all, but a mere ruse perpetrated with 1941 Node Node @17Virgo conjunct FDR's natal Uranus Rx rising: reformist politics; radical new ideas; meeting with unusual people.

Also notable in the 1941 Attack Horoscope shown below, is that the Mars-Chiron midpoint (the 'sacred warrior' duo) @15Gem00 conjuncts the goal-oriented Gemini Sun, while the 7:52 am LT Midheaven ('MC'; The Objective) holds the pair of fated questing upon it: Sun-Chiron @14Lib52 - and with US 1775 Saturn @14Lib48 conjunct MC as well. The goal? Roping in Congress for the consolidation and legalization of presidential authority (to wage war).

And of course, Chiron is associated with bombs, wounds, and the atomic power that Harry Truman later used to decimate Hiroshima and Nagasaki, Japan, and which, as the American people are always told, helped end WWII. Now there's a morality issue extraordinaire.

So I wonder: was retaliation for the Attack moral justification to use nuclear power as the ultimate goal of a far-sighted America aided by Nazi scientists brought over to work in the US after WWII (aka, Operation Paperclip), so that the power struggle and grabbing of Germany's weapons secrets had to begin with a delaration of war against Japan? This is a simplistic question, I agree, but on this 'Black Friday' 2022, I'm just typing out loud as Luna waxes toward fulfillment and complete awareness, culminating in mid-Gemini on December 7, 2022, and spotlighting the 81st anniversary of the Attack on Pearl Harbor, a horrific event which occurred under the auspices of a 16 North Solar Eclipse with its themes of Uranus-Neptune-inspired 'illumination' and 'bright ideas' (B. Brady).

Then perhaps a quick look at a bi-wheel of 1941 vs 2022 planets could be instructive regarding the aggressive, expansive United States of America, currently under siege by hostile forces both foreign and domestic. And if you wish, take a step back in history by listening to the radio broadcast of President Franklin Delano Roosevelt delivering his "date that will live in infamy" speech to a joint session of Congress and declaring war on Japan (as commemorated by Radios of the Era).

In closing, I shall add a heartfelt R.I.P. to all those who died in the Attack on Pearl Harbor and to those who've lost their lives during America's lied-into wars, including my generation's duplicitous, fog-of-war (US Mars-Neptune square) Vietnam War (horoscope shown in which the "break-up of a value system" unsurprisingly appears).

An Astro-View of Ruby Ridge 1992

On August 26, 2017, an article by Jason Wilson appeared in The Guardian Ruby Ridge, 1992: the day the American militia movement was born.

At the time of the Ruby Ridge vs FBI Standoff, George H.W. Bush was in the White House (Jan 20, 1989 - Jan 20, 1993) but in November would be ousted by Bill Clinton in the 1992 election. If you dare, check out the link, below, to GHWB's chilling 'NWO' speech.

A few miles from the Weaver home atop the mountain near Naples, Idaho was the Aryan Headquarters (or compound?) and the Weavers, Randy and family, had made friends there although Weaver's allegiance to the organization is iffy if it existed at all. Some sources say the FBI wanted Randy Weaver to act as an informant, one assumes against the anti-government militia types in the area which may or not be true, and naturally there's a long history of violent groups such as the Klan but that's beyond the scope of this post. Ruby Ridge August 21-31, 1992

And so, 6 marshals (Mars in Gemini: ready for action) showed up to serve a bench warrant on Mr. Weaver for weapons charges, as I've read. I remember this happening and watching the disturbing event's TV coverage which stretched on for 11 days, beginning on August 21, 1992. Playing into white nationalist hands, Vicki Weaver was shot and killed on August 22, 1992 when an FBI sniper shot family friend Kevin Harris who was ducking into the door of the Weaver home and sadly Vicki Weaver, the mother of the family, was also hit and killed; Mr. Harris survived his wounds.

Now few details of the tragedy are in this post since a quick Google will turn up a myriad of articles, videos, and TV presentations concerning the tragedy. Yet there is a 56-minute presentation I can recommend to you by American Experience if you're so inclined. Noted is that 6 marshals "made their way up to the mountaintop home" shortly before dawn on August 21, 1992 which shows the Moon @00Gem09 conjunct fixed star Alcyone with keywords: 'something to cry about'. Definitely that.

Along with the Moon (publicity; also family and security) is weapon-wielding Mars @16Gem55 in the publicly visible 10th house: was sending a warning to other malcontents part of the FBI's objectives? Maybe. After all, mass media coverage of the intense standoff seemed to begin rather quickly.

And note that the August 21st Moon @00Gem09 reveals a forward-looking cosmic time link to the 13 South Solar Eclipse of May 21, 1993, also conjunct Alcyone. 13 South themes: 'striving for group endeavors, positively or negatively' (B. Brady). And 1993 was a watershed year for global government.

Standoff Saturn and the Stars of Mid-Aquarius

Note that legal planet Saturn Rx @14AQ conjuncts fixed star Armus with implications just as it sounds: combative, contentious, disagreeable, and destructive. Nearby is Dorsum, an unfortunate indicator with Jupiter-Saturn resonance, and other stars in the Aquarius constellation suggest duplicity and a love of hunting and sports. Maybe we can agree that the stand-off between the Weavers and the US government was on the unbalanced side (totally against Jupiter-Saturn standards).

Plus, afterwards daughter Sara Weaver has said that she had felt "hunted." Note the Descendant @28AQ42 sports a certain asteroid, Diana, the huntress. Perhaps Diana is a minor factor in the chart and during the event, but there she is opposing the rising Sun:

And so to see what was reflected from Above upon the Earth at the time, the above 'Ruby Ridge Horoscope' (inner) is set for August 21, 1992 Naples, Idaho for "shortly before dawn" which I translate as Sun @28Leo42 /Ascendant 28Leo42 conjunct Regulus (the star's caution: 'success if revenge is avoided'). Midheaven @19Tau27, the Goal Point, places the deadly planet of overwhelming power, Pluto @20Sco16, conjunct the IC, the Basis or Foundation of the Matter, aka, the HOW? Point of Endings and Roots.

Surrounding the Sunrise chart in the bi-wheel are the August 31, 1992 12:00 noon PDT planets (so we can see how conditions and actors proceeded), the day the stand-off ended (exact timing unknown by yours truly), when white separatist Randy Weaver and his remaining children held hands and came down the mountain to surrender. For as you know, son Sam ('Sammy') had been shot and killed as had Vicki Weaver while standing next to her 16-yo daughter Sara. (Last I heard, Sara has a family and lives in Montana: good for her!)

For further details, we might set a chart for the speculative time of 10:00 am PDT (as events progressed) that first morning, with 13Lib46 rising along with US 1776 Saturn (14:46), the 'legal eagle' planet of karma, limitation, restriction, and endings. In the 10:00 am chart, it seems telling that at its Foundation Point ('IC') of the chart is the rounded-up degree of 18Capricorn, the Zodiacal location of 1993's Great Conjunction/s of Uranus-Neptune, the 'new world order' pair. POLITICAL POWER is the theme of this degree of Saturn-ruled Capricorn, and I would suggest is at the basis of such standoffs of power and control.

And the negative expression of "18Cap" = "smug or strong-armed paternalism" (Jones) which fits perfectly with a forceful government determined to have its way with the disagreeable Mr. Weaver. After the standoff concluded, it's reported that Randy Weaver's neighbors in the white nationalist compound of 'Aryans' seemed happy with the deathly results and show of force by the FBI - for their own propaganda purposes, of course. Meanwhile, strong-armed paternalism with its handmaiden, misogyny, is precisely what we're dealing with now as seen by the overturning of Roe v Wade by a compromised SCOTUS and other bossy Republican paternalistic legislative efforts and underhanded political tricks of persecution (with Neptune in Pisces opposing US 1776 Neptune) - inspired by their fascist leanings barely hiding neo-nazism in a fight against American democracy.

Oh! And we must mention Trump's militia-minded thugs, of course, acting out on the biggest stage they've ever had, thanks to him ("stand back and stand by", etc.) and perpetrating their initial insurrection attempt on January 6, 2021 after white nationalists had marched with tiki torches in Charlotteville in August 2017. Note that we have "swords vs torches" battle conditions coming up at the 2022 Midterms via the Taurus Lunar Eclipse conjunct radical Uranus, the zealot, that very day @17Taurus - two degrees from the Midheaven of August 21, 1992, as you see.

My point being that, way back in 1992, insurrection was a malcontent's fever dream - to go up against the NWO - but with cloudy prospects, at best. And this can be seen in the horoscope/s, above: that stealthy Pluto won the day - in Scorpio where the power planet can activate the sort of fanaticism that leads to tragic events such as Ruby Ridge. Pluto's symbol: "A Soldier Derelict in His Duty" which may describe Mr. Weaver and/or one or more of the FBI agents, perhaps the sniper (who stood trial but was acquitted).

One way the Weavers and others might've gotten such virulent anti-government ideas

Perhaps you remember that G.H.W. Bush called his 'Operation Desert Storm' invasion of Kuwait (January 16, 1991) a "triumph of the New World Order." So for the daring reader, here's a vintage SO'W post from 2009 containing the video of the creepy Bush Sr speech promising (threatening) a 'new world order' - coming from a US president - and dated September 11, 1991. Yes, I remember watching his speech on TV, and if you've seen it before you've probably never been able to forget it either.

So my conclusion is that the 1990s were full of strong-armed paternalism trying to squash all challenges to government power, or, as opponents styled it, they were anti-NWO (aka, One World Government, or globalism). Why, the decade closed with the Pluto-Chiron conjunction, a 60-year cycle, on December 30, 1999 @11Sag22 - and the anti-WTO protests against globalism that the press sensationally dubbed the Battle in Seattle. As you know, Pluto-Chiron is the Plutocracy pair of exploitation, primal violence, racism, Capitalism, and other -isms.

So! After the Standoff at Ruby Ridge, the FBI showed up to stage another violent standoff at the Siege of Waco (February 28--April 19, 1993: 51 days), the very year of the Uranus-Neptune Conjunction/s, exact on February 2, 1993, August 20, 1993, and October 24, 1993. And few if any Americans can forget the horrific Oklahoma City Bombing of April 19, 1995 with US 1776 Uranus rising. And it's very sad to say, but there's no reason whatsoever to think that such seditious events are over.

America 1776: Enlightenment Principles not Religion and Joe Biden Signs a Bill!

Admittedly, with the ongoing transit of Neptune in Pisces opposing America's 1776 Neptune in Virgo, religious persecution is only one of the effects of the opposition along with a generational clash of ideals, ideologies, and beliefs. Oceanic Neptune, planet of inspiration, spirituality, and the Divine Source, is fancifully shown in the above pencil drawing rising or ascending and by this I attempt to symbolize in this post the rise of certain religious factions over America's tradition of secularism.

Yet as most Americans must know, this nation was founded upon Enlightenment Principles inspired by those of the European Enlightenment, aka, the Age of Enlightenment. Now one consequence of such rational, lofty principles was the American Revolution so how dumb is it that far-right politicians and their Jan 6th insurrectionists have used "1776" as a rallying cry while promoting their unBiblical brand of religion.

For we know that most of the Founding Fathers, as we like to call them, were not Christians but Deists with beliefs nothing like those of the current crop of power-mad 'Christian' Nationalists promoting authoritarian theocracy for America and pretending that the nation has always been what they call, Christian. In fact, though unfairly tarred with an anti-religiois brush, Founding Father Thomas Paine, author of The Age of Reason, was not against God at all,

"It is only by exercise of reason that man can discover God. Take away that reason, and he would be incapable of understanding anything." Right there we find irrational religionists with their highly emotional biases on behalf of some sort of bizarre religion-slash-politics and demonstrating a complete lack of reasoning ability.

Great News! At 4:02 pm edt I watched President Joe Biden sign his progressive Inflation Reduction Act of 2022, a transformative piece of legislation on behalf of America. With Sagittarius rising in DC (19Sag33) and chart-ruler Jupiter Rx in Aries and making no applying aspects (no interference like a VOC Moon?), I hope things proceed well with this bill, although delays are suggested (Rx). However, Venus in Leo rules the Midheaven (The Goal), both Venus and Jupiter are money planets, and Venus makes a beneficial trine with Jupiter so we have that going for us! Meanwhile, the leader (Sun) is apex of a YOD pattern with the spiritually infused Neptune-Pluto sextile at its base. Therefore, it was time for the President to act and bring resolution to the many crises in US society, in this, a "season of substance." And if we read the YOD trio as a midpoint picture, we find: "transforming life to alter or otherwise change existing patterns of personal growth" (M. Munkasey). As he said in his pre-signing remarks, Joe Biden believes in America and the American people!

Now back to my fuss:

So actually, these far-right seditionists are anarchists, more political than religious and yet are supported by the Christian Right. (In other words, they joined forces in order to grab power and control.) So you've probably noticed that the movement promotes a US government based on 1930s/1940s-style brutality, oppression, primal violence, and, in a word,nazism where might allegedly makes right. Of course, that's only if murder is "right," which it is not. A quick reading of the Ten Commandments tells anyone that.

Eclipse and Historical Cycles Echo One Another

Now some folks would have us believe that for these anti-societal criminals their 'time has come' but for America this was not the case in in the 1930s and it isn't written in stone now. However, on the level of timing, it's significant that a solar eclipse in the same Saros Series as the 'Nazis Rise To Power' Eclipse of 1932, the 6 South, will occur on October 25, 2022 @2Scorpio conjunct Venus which I've titled, 'A House Raising'. This we have discussed on SO'W before and seems to relate to congressional House seats in particular, so it's notable that the October 2022 6 South Eclipse will directly influence our 2022 Midterms - as will a Lunar Eclipse conjunct Uranus @16Taurus manifesting on that very day, and will 'eclipse' the Venus-Mars conjunction (16 Taurus) of a certain Austrian psychopath born long ago.

America Based on Enlightenment Principles not Religion

Meanwhile, on an astrological level, we can turn to Uranus for science and rationality and Neptune for faith and religion. Perhaps a quick consideration of the planetary pair of Uranus-Neptune may be interesting along with a note about their aspects back in 1776 when America was founded.

The Uranus-Neptune duo a la Michael Munkasey:

"Changes in social and political structures due to new ideals and dreams of the future; insight and invention; reforms with lofty ideals."

Now in each of the horoscopes for July 1 and July 4, 1776 that I considered for this post, I see that America enjoyed - enjoys - a Saturn-Uranus trine (ideals become reality; putting ideas into form) and a Neptune-Pluto trine (working for improved social reforms). Yet as you know, we've been under the sway of a transiting Saturn-Uranus square stirring up rebellion against authority which we've seen from riled up anarchists, seditionists, and saboteurs working against our country. And yes, these tumultuous activities have been interfering with progress (Uranus), of course, but somehow, on this very day, President Biden's signing of the Inflation Reduction Act has lifted up our 1776 Neptune-Pluto trine through the form of the transiting Neptune-Pluto sextile of opportunity nestled at the base of a YOD pattern - a turning point - activating a concerned leader to take action via today's Sun in Leo.

So I agree with Joe B: never bet against America!

Horoscope of the 1st Public J6 Hearing: "A Gang of Robbers in Hiding"

UPDATE June 4, 2022: It has come to my attention that the exact location of the June 9th J6 public hearing will be the Cannon Office Building, south of the Capitol. Calculating the horoscope for this location (38N53:13 77W00:25) makes no difference whatsoever to cusps, houses, or planets. Basically it gives the same horoscope as you see, below, for any differences there may be are negligible.

Uranus-Neptune Septile: Fated Events That Concern Catastrophe

Below is a belated posting of the First Public J6 Hearing on June 9, 2022 8:00 pm edt Capitol Building Washington DC; study notes are penned on the chart such as fixed stars and certain Eclipses that are being pointed toward for our past and future considerations (unnotated on the chart in 5th house is the current 6 North Solar Eclipse @10Tau28 with its descriptive themes of 'relationship to authority figures' and 'accepting commitments due to another person's unreliability or illness' - B. Brady).

Chart-ruler (and hearing-ruler) Jupiter @5Ari04 (in Aries: the truth seeker) is highlighted in green and makes no applying aspects in the chart so its house and sign are prominent with 4th house denoting domestic and security issues. This position of Jupiter indicates a Jupiter-opposite-Neptune transit for Tr*mp, a period when someone is deceiving him (or he them, of course), and illusion, delusion, and confusion abound. He will not be dealing with events in a realistic way but what else is new, right? This is an unpredictable transit, but those who offer him fantastical schemes should be avoided for best results.

Yet we know that he's usually the one inventing fantastical schemes thought up from within his world of fantasy as he listens to the malicious, grudge-holding voices in his head. We can expect that confidential matters will be exposed especially concerning finances with his Jupiter-Chiron-Neptune trio in his 2nd house of Money and Possessions. And maybe his and his comrades playing fast and loose with America's National Treasury could be addressed although the J6 hearings may not be the proper venue for revealing such matters.

Now 8:00 pm edt on June 9th is a Mercury Hour (suitable for hearings, messages, questions, testimony, reporting) and Mercury @27Tau44 is in 6th house and rises with Menkar ('saying what must be said') conjunct US Inaugural Ascendant (Oath of Office), plus, de-structuring, transformative Pluto, planet of subversion and hidden wealth, is in process of performing America's first-ever Pluto Return. On June 9th, Pluto rises with the star of extreme misfortune, Scheat. Obviously, issues of America as a Plutocracy have been on everyone's minds for some time which brings in our national Mercury-Pluto opposition of total surveillance, and knowledge is power concerns.

So expectably, some secrets will be withheld during the hearings which is typical due to the fact that they're being held in public and this is often Washington's justification for neglecting to divulge all the facts due to 'national security', as you know, so we'll see how things proceed by the final hearing on June 23rd (8:00 pm edt) with the public Moon @6Tau13 conjunct Inauguration Day 2021's incendiary Mars-Uranus Conjunction (6Tau44) indicating potentials for aggression from those who support the overthrow of the US government.

Meanwhile, Ceres will have moved on to 16Can51 - conjunct and reflecting Tr*mp's natal Nemesis (16Can40) and while he seems to feel that democracy is his enemy, I do believe it's the other way around for the wide-girthed foreign agent orange.

Now as you see, the above chart Angles conjunct those of America's late afternoon horoscope of July 4, 1776 and I mention this synchronicity even though it may ruffle the feathers of a few of my favorite astrologers (who know who they are). Oh well - maybe they'll never read this post.

Then there's the speculative Jupiter-Neptune pair at the bottom of the chart, and although in disassociate signs, suggests the political conflicts and scandals at the base of the matter. This may also indicate that fortune seekers, wastrels, and evangelicals are involved but we don't need Astrology to tell us this!

Democracy vs Predatory Authoritarianism

Then when it comes to Democracy, both lower and upper case, in the horoscope there's nurturing Ceres, asteroid signifying democracy, @10Can47 in 7th house - and descriptively we find that hellish Hades conjoins Ceres - also @10Can47. As you know, Uranian planet Hades contains Scorpio-Virgo qualities indicating potentials for analysis and investigation, breaking down into parts, dealing with hidden and unpleasant things, and has a close association with Pluto as god of The Underworld. Therefore, mobsterism (infesting our democracy) is denoted since those are the types of criminals the J6 public hearings must deal with.

And note that, besides the suggestion of karma or fate found via the septile (52 degr 26 mins) between transpersonal planets Uranus and Neptune, the nwo pair of The Enlightenment, the Vertex ('VX') @27Can13 falls in the 8th house (VX not marked on the chart) which places the anti-Vertex conjunct Pluto (and US 1776 Pluto). So with Pluto being one of the planets of karma, America's fate as a democracy is definitely on the line through the outcomes of the J6 hearings and by how the DOJ will respond to the hearings' conclusions.

Meanwhile, the primary point of focus is the handle of a Bucket shape - the 10th house Moon @18Lib06 - conjunct the natal stationary Jupiter of D. Tr*mp with an interesting Sabian Symbol ('19Libra') that to me seems very much to apply: "A Gang of Robbers in Hiding." Well hopefully, they'll no longer be in hiding via the J6 hearings with the June 9th Moon in the very visible 10th house reflecting the orange Jupiterian's expansive activities, financial, foreign, and political in particular. Perhaps the orange instigator's obvious happiness (Moon-Jupiter) during his violent coup attempt of January 6, 2021 will be mentioned during the hearings, as it well should be. His reckless behavior on January 6th is evidence of his complicity.

And yet considering that the public J6 hearings will open during the ongoing transiting midpoint picture of Pluto-NN = Neptune, it's possible that revealing the 'gaining advantages through the use of fraud and lies' tendencies of Herr T and his comrades may or may not result in successful DOJ indictments and prosecutions for, after all, suggested are longterm systemic problems affecting everyone in society.

And this means that if you're not a perpetrator of Trumpian crimes, dear reader, you might just be a victim.

So to close, a quick look at the June 23rd horoscope shows a practical Water-Earth Sun Cancer-Moon Taurus blend of conscious and unconscious energies which are shared natally by Jazz era legend Miss Josephine Baker, inventor of the riske banana dance. And in my estimation, a famous quote from her relates to the infamous condition of 'emperor' Tr*mp whose robe of authority and fitness for office has always been questioned,

"I wasn't really naked, I simply didn't have any clothes on."

Well, if they're not aborted or sabotaged in some way, the J6 hearings could conclude with 'emperor' Tr*mp even naked-er than before, if that's even possible.

For major karma there's restrictive Saturn Rx and powerful but hidden Pluto Rx at the bottom of the chart in the area of The Foundation and/or Roots and suggesting the extreme, often harsh, control at the Basis of the Roman Empire's authority through the centuries, authority that was transmuted into the realms of the Catholic Church, the Vatican, and the Pope:

Then expansive Jupiter Rx 20Gem58 in 2nd house leads a ruthless Locomotive shape of the planets and will return to his (the Pope's?) natal position three times in 2024 into 2025:

All three Return horoscopes are significant particularly the second and third, both of which show forceful T-Squares from Mars-oppo-Pluto to the Sun. Accidents, injury, shocks, and/or violent measures are potentials (R. Ebertin). Jupiter in Mercury-ruled Gemini has philosophical interests but the research can be on a superficial level.

Then note that the chart's MC = 1993's Uranus-Neptune Conjunction/s, planetary duo of The Enlightenment - in our era, a major signpost on the path to a New World Order. At MC, Uranus-Neptune suggests utilizing the right side of the brain, and/or 'guidance sought from other realms or never-before tapped sources' (N. Tyl). And with the Mercury-Mars midpoint also at MC, 'courage' is indicated along with the potential for 'retaliation' (R. Ebertin).

Now to me the Sabian Symbol that most closely applies to the Roman Empire in 'the goals department' (MC) and to current events is "18 Capricorn": The Union Jack Flies From a British Warship" = "Keynote: The protection afforded to individuals and groups by powerful institutions in charge of maintaining order. {} Where this symbol appears, the need for protection may be in evidence--or it may be a warning against using power for selfish advantage. {} It brings to us a realization of the ambivalence of POLITICAL POWER, its value and its dangers." Perhaps we agree that the 'using power for selfish advantage' yacht left the harbor a long time ago.

Gemini-Sagittarius: Ethics and Morality

Penned on the chart in 8th house you see "PE 20Sag08 opposite Jupiter" which marks the position of the Prenatal Solar Eclipse of the Roman Empire. However, 0027 BC is simply too long ago and I have no information on the eclipse, its Saros Series, themes, etc. But I can say that an eclipse opposed by Jupiter (20Gem58) indicates that the observance of correct moral practices is a must for best results, and the strongest temptation leading to ethical errors is via Jupiter's house, here the 2nd house of Money and Values. These karmic issues are always around but they prominently surface during the years in which a solar eclipse in the (mystery!) series repeats, a cycle of 18.6 years, and this is a process that no person or entity on Earth can escape. Yet through the eclipse cycle, the Cosmos gives us multiple opportunities for dealing more positively with recurring events and ethical conditions if we wish to evolve and progress, or, if neglected, karmic blocks continue and may very well fester.

Additonal note: as you see, the Roman Empire's Mercury was conjoined by America's Pluto in 1776 as it is by transiting Pluto now, suggesting that previous methods of control and manipulation are altered for more efficiency.

Does the GOP Have Any Future? - Thom Hartmann (plus, Uranus-Neptune)

Naturally as a novice astrologer, Thom's question causes me to think back to recent times when the Republican Party experienced its first-ever Neptune Return, an extended period due to planet Neptune's retrogradation habit with exact return dates dependent upon which founding horoscope for the party one uses. Was the dissolution function of Neptune, planet of deception, lies, and fraud, a cosmic signpost on the road to the GOP's current merging into whatever the Hades it's become, nazi or otherwise, under figure-head mobster Tr*mp, his thugs, and wealthy puppet masters, both foreign and domestic?

Meanwhile, as the Cosmos would have it, April 2021 timed the Republican Party's Uranus Return with radical Uranus, planet of rebellion, change, reform, upheaval, anarchy, technology, and - futurism - in rigid Taurus, often a sign of intolerance and greed. Well, I have to say that major changes of and by the outer planetary pair of Uranus-Neptune is no superficial matter. Together, Reinhold Ebertin gives the duo quite a curious list of Correspondences as potentials, and I quote:

Additionally, Ebertin also gives the planetary pair Biological Correspondences which include heart failure, paralysis of rhythmic processes, and/or apoplexy of the brain. (Perhaps an uncaring cold-heartedness belongs on the list.)

Then we should also note that Uranus and Neptune are the 'Enlightenment Planets' of the 1700s ('The Age of Reason'; Science vs Faith), and in our era are associated with the 'new world order', aka, 'One World Government', a long-term plan of craven social meddlers. As you know, the two planets met in Great Conjunction three times all through 1993 @18Capricorn (18 to 20 degrees, actually), the degree area of the Zodiac which transit Pluto transformed in 2017 (arriving with Herr Tr*mp and his handlers) because a major midpoint picture was formed by the trio, one that has been mentioned multiple times in previous SO'W posts when societal conditions were not as stark and down-to-the-wire as they now are shown to be:

Uranus-Neptune = transit Pluto: "The big picture commands a certain course of action which must be followed; very little option to do otherwise" (Solar Arcs, Noel Tyl). Could that be a 'new world order' one supposes? A turn from democracy to authoritarianism? Here's my version of the 1993 NWO Horoscope set for October 24th Washington DC. Of interest is that the October 24th Sun in this chart will be eclipsed on October 25, 2022 with 6 South eclipse themes of 'being forceful, taking power' and 'exerting huge effort in group activity' (B. Brady). 6 South energy is known to be manic, so please be aware.

Well, an additional clue did appear when a new social order began when societal planets Jupiter and Saturn conjoined @00AQ29 on December 21, 2020 - conjunct US Inaugural Sun! Of course, a desperate Tr*mp was still playing at the role of POTUS then and Ebertin says the planetary trio's midpoint picture = change of residence and moodiness due to liver disturbance. But as you know, that's not all that disturbed the wide-girthed sore loser after the November 2020 presidential election and the Electoral College Vote in favor of Joe Biden on December 14th, the day of a difficult 4 South Solar Eclipse @23Sag08 manifesting near Tr*mp's separative Moon-SN conjunction of unpopularity when negatively expressed (childhood estrangement from Mama can do difficult things to a person).

So now in closing, I must add that there's no solace in the Sabian Symbol for 18 Capricorn although its negative expression does precisely describe the authoritarian mindset of the plutonian 'Republican' Party and their enablers of various persuasions: "smug or strong-armed paternalism."

5 New South Eclipse Themes: Good News and Benefits!

October 25, 2021: Below is a view of the DC Horoscope of the 5 New South Solar Eclipse of December 4, 2021 @12Sag22 which falls within the 2nd house of The National Treasury and Values when the eclipse chart is set for Washington DC. In Sabian Symbols its rounded-up degree of "13Sag" = "A Widow's Past Brought to Light" (a Freemasonry reference) with "Keynote: The karma of past actions as it affects opportunities presented by a new cycle" (D. Rudhyar). In his An Astrological Mandala (#ad), Rudhyar goes on to explain, "Mankind is 'the widow' because our soon-to-be-concluded Piscean Age has buried most of the ideals it once revered and proclaimed. Yet the New Age will have to deal with many oppressive ghosts. This is a symbol of RETRIBUTION." We don't need Astrology to tell us that America's old business will linger into 2022 which may refer to criminal and civil indictments we've yet to see in October 2021.

And for old age-new age, conservative-progressive, past-future, and old order-new order issues and stand-offs we tend to look toward Saturn vs Uranus; here, their midpoint @25Pis26 is posited in the 6th house of Military-Police-Civil Service, Employment, and Health. Their midpoint opposes US Progressed Neptune in Virgo which hints at "masked changes designed to break traditional roles" (supported by the ongoing transformative US Pluto Return/s of 2022 but now within orb and busy restructuring society, systems, structures, and traditions). Also suggested are potentials for "separations; bereavements; falsehoods, and/or malice due to weakness" (R. Ebertin).

Meanwhile, my personal hope is that the 'Retribution' of the "13Sag" Eclipse refers to holding accountable the criminals, corporatists, corrupt politicians, and their enablers who have undermined and continue to sabotage our nation out from under the noses of Americans who prefer a democratic Republic.

As you see, the Eclipse opposes or is opposed by wealthy gold-hoarder Midas Rx (@12Gem02 in the Corporate 8th house) and is attended by messenger planet Mercury 15Sag18 which conjoins asteroid Arachne, a spidery, possibly sinister reference to the World Wide Web, the Internet and to certain sticky networks such as those identified by asteroid Cupido (here @24Leo47 in 11th house of Groups and Associations opposite Jupiter in the 5th house of Gambling and Risk-Taking. Cupido networks include the World Banking System, 'The Family' of 'religious' power-grabbers, various mafia organizations and other criminal networks, and Corporatism in general. The global neo-n*zi movement of crooks and blighters may also be indicated by Cupido whose position in vain Leo conjuncts the natal Mars of crime boss you-know-who.

Plus, we should note that a solar eclipse in Jupiter-ruled Sagittarius involves issues of: searches for ultimate truths, ethical considerations, moral concepts, and religious convictions. However, misguided beliefs and misplaced idealism will interfere with karmic progress, and false optimism must be avoided for best results (R. Lineman). When communicating Mercury closely attends an eclipse, reasoning power and logic are necessary and must be utilized in order to resolve karmic (longstanding) problems; determined concentration is a must because when thinking Mercury is in wide-ranging Sagittarius, thoughts are deep yet a scattering of energies, and a tendency to avoid tasks or to take the line of least resistance are constant possibilities. Dotting Is and crossing Ts will be important to the matters at hand which suggests negotiations, agreements, laws, treaties, trade deals, and/or contracts that may be signed under the influence of this eclipse. But fine print should be closely scrutinized similar to periods when Mercury is retrograde (as it will be in mid-January 2022).

Now naturally, you'll note the intense Venus-Pluto Conjunction at the Foundation of the chart with angular Venus as chart-ruler and 8th hou$e ruler. See lower left corner for a few notes concerning the only applying aspect of Venus - her conjunction with powerful wealth-hoarding plutocrat Pluto which occurs within the greatly sensitized later-degrees of Saturn-ruled Capricorn, sign of government, law, business, and investment. Curiously, notable indications of a Venus-Pluto pairing includes "foreign raids on the treasury" (M. Munkasey). And of course, Wall Street gentry and speculators are involved with Jupiterian financial matters.

Also, see money planet Venu$ as apex of the Mars-Neptune trine, lower right corner, which suggests potentials for appeasement, superficial religious practices, and perhaps infection. A high-flying Kite pattern of success is suggested here yet only the goal-oriented Midheaven, with difficult star Castor conjunct MC, creates the Kite's tail so let's skip the pattern since no planet is there (but "A Prima Donna Singing" is). So this leaves the focus on the Mars-Neptune trine with Venus at apex, as noted, and with the Mars-Neptune pair suggesting potentials for 'military or industrial espionage, scandals involving the military, riots over national healthcare (hospital fires)', and/or "the threat of war or force to be used against the ideals of the people, the country, or its rulers" (M. Munkasey). This we know, even without Astrology to tell us - especially since talking heads warn us of future violent actions all the time with 1/6 as only the opening salvo by fascist malcontents and saboteurs.

Three December Solar Eclipses: 2019 ('The Covid Eclipse'), 2020 ('The Electoral College Vote Eclipse' and the Eclipse series of Inauguration 2021), and 2021 ('RETRIBUTION: The Karma of Past Actions Eclipse')

Now coming near the end of a year, December Eclipses always carry their energies, Uranian disruptions, and themes into the next year so the 5 New South Eclipse shown above will affect the first months of 2022 until around the middle of April 2022 when themes of the next Solar Eclipse (6 North @10Taurus) override those of 5 New South, suddenly or gradually.

And because a solar eclipse is a New Moon and a course-changing 'wild card of the Universe', the next Full Moon is highly significant as the New Moon's culmination or fulfillment phase suggesting full awareness and/or relationship issues. That will be the Full Moon @27Gem29 on December 19, 2021 when results (or fall-out) from the 5 New South Eclipse should become more obvious in relation to the matters discussed, above.

A few closing notes: Readers familiar with the natal planets of the 'orange menace' won't fail to notice that rising in the above chart is his natal Jupiter stationary (@17Lib27 in natal 2nd house with his wounded Chiron and deceptive Neptune) - and Speaker Nancy Pelosi's natal Jupiter @17Aries, precisely and diametrically opposed to his Jupiter across the Aries-Libra axis. Plus, eclipse Jupiter @25AQ50 opposes the natal rising Mars of the 'orange menace', which as you know, opposes our July 4, 1776 Moon (We The People) showing his vengeful aggression against the American people. On May 7, 2000 when Putin was first inaugurated in Moscow, Russia, 'new world order' planets, Uranus and Neptune, were in Aquarius (6AQ34/20AQ41). Then on June 16, 2021, when Presidents Biden and Putin are said to be meeting face-to-face, Saturn Rx @13AQ03 wedges his restrictive, karmic self directly between the Uranus-Neptune midpoint of May 7, 2000. This past-and-present trio creates a midpoint picture of potentials including: 'instability; loss; restraint on idealistic reforms' (ex: 'nwo' zealotry demanding America's loss of the helm?); 'depression; mourning; changes of direction; a need for recognition; a clash between ambitions and projections' (Tyl; Ebertin).

Now as you know, Saturn's degree and sign were significantly emphasized recently by its Station Direct on May 23, 2021 @13AQ31:01. "14AQ" = "A Train Entering a Tunnel": "Keyword: PENETRATION - the possibility of shortening the length of time needed for progress by cutting through obstacles and delays" (An Astrological Mandala, Dane Rudhyar). Now why is this post subtitled, A Pluto-South Node Affair? Because Putin's Inauguration 2000's South Node @27Cap01 is being 'hit' by June 16, 2021 Pluto Rx @26Cap16 (on his way to US Pluto Return/s all through 2022 so South-Node-Pluto influences in relation to Russia and the US will be lasting awhile.)

On the bi-wheel, lower right, some of the SN-Pluto potentials are listed such as: 'a self-will out of harmony with society; resentment; misundertandings; a victim of circumstances' (that are beyond personal control and indicating karmic conditions such as war, violence, and/or mass migration due to such disruptions. As noted, these difficult potentials are doubled because June 2021's South Node @10Sag39 conjuncts May 7, 2000's Pluto Rx @12Sag12, leader of a Locomotive pattern of the 'powerful executive ruthlessly determined on success'. How? Well, as you know, the Pluto-Chiron pair denotes plutocracy (plutocrats), exploitation, primal violence, racism, and other -isms such as communism, bolshvikism, socialism, capitalism, etc. For ruthless oligarchs in charge, it's always success at any cost! This includes the use of violence, as we've seen.

So is 2021 Saturn's restriction on 2000 Uranus-Neptune part of the "Train Entering a Tunnel" picture? Well, we know that with major undertakings and reforms in both Politics and Business, Saturn's timing function is the key to success for rash actions most often lead to failure.

And naturally, the current Saturn-Uranus square (new order challenges old order; progress blocked by status quo energies) in rigid Fixed signs undergirds events and conditions these days - and the two planets are square one another in both charts: Saturn square Uranus 2000 (0A42) and their square in 2021 (0S06) with both at 13 degrees which suggests karmic or fated influences issuing from the start of the current cycle of Saturn-Uranus conjunct 3 times in 1988 (Reagan) at 27--"30Sag." Well, is the Vatican involved too? It so often is.

Now you'll spy several more prominent factors lurking in the two horoscopes but let's close with two things: the potentials contained within the midpoint picture of Uranus-Neptune 2000 (the 'new world order' duo) = 2021 Saturn:

'restraint placed on idealistic reforms' (timing!); 'loss; instability; mourning; staying put causes loss of confidence' (Tyl; Ebertin).

May 23, 2021: A few Astro-Notes concerning the indespensible Thomas Paine

While some confusion has existed over the correct birthdate (OS vs NS) and hour for Revolutionary author and Founder Thomas Paine, for my purposes I tend to use his January 29, 1737 11:30 am GMT Thetford, England chart with Ascendant 3Gemini48 rising along with karmic planet of restriction and authority, Saturn Rx 4Gem48. Of course, that's Mercury-ruled Gemini, sign of The Writer, Messenger, Communicator, and Orator (who used to read his works aloud to the public). Of interest is that an earlier version of my SolarFire software gave 2Gem46 which rounded up = "3 Gemini": "A Garden of the Tuilleries" which resonates with Paine's French Revolution involvement and his imprisonment in France.

Meanwhile, perhaps you, dear reader, are familiar with an old SO'W post of April 30, 2006 concerning Mr. Paine and a curious double transit in May 2006 to both his natal Sun and Chiron: Sun to Chiron and Chiron to Sun, a doubly emphasized, simultaneously occurring 'cosmic link' cross the centuries suggesting hints about The Chirotic Quest of Thomas Paine and perhaps activating his spiritual and/or ideological descendants. As you know, a conjunction of Sun and Chiron has to do with self-transformation but one doesn't have to be conscious of it for this to occur - which is a good thing since Mr. Paine definitely was unconscious at his eternal rest in 2006. Yet in life, idealism was prominent via his inspirational Neptune in Mercury-ruled Gemini posited in the 2nd house of Values (money was something of an issue; he's known for donating all profits from his writings to The Cause of liberty and independence, assuming that Congress would pay him later for his efforts but we know how that turned out).

As for the double transits of 2006, it's doubtful that such a noble quest by a Founding Father who promoted the era's noble Enlightenment principles (his Uranus-Neptune opposition!) could have been fulfilled from beyond the grave under the auspices of warmongering profiteers such as Bush-and-Cheney in 2006. For tragically, as you know, any noble course America once promoted, even honored, was cruelly diverted toward 'the dark side' decades ago, not to mention our nation's original stain of slavery from 1619 onward.

Meanwhile, for your consideration below is a bi-wheel of Thomas Paine's natal chart, center, with an outer horoscope of that very event, set for "just before daybreak" on September 25, 1819 New Rochelle, NY (source: Thomas Paine, by Craig Nelson, 2006), the reputed date and approximate time (using 5:00 am LMT) that Mr. Corbett, his son, and a hired hand, dug up the 'disrespected' remains of one of America's Founding Fathers, Tom Paine, who was denied burial in the Quaker cemetery due to his deism (and criticisms of his former colleagues) which had made him extremely unpopular in America (curiously, his natal Sun at "10AQ" = "A Popularity That Proves Ephemeral" - Jones):

Of course, it's possible that the unholy deed was begun earlier or later than the speculative hour of 5:00 am LMT shown here, but a change won't affect the fact that the 1819 South Node of the Moon @11Lib12 (in his natal 6th house), a Saturnian point of separation, sat squarely upon Paine's Prenatal Solar Eclipse (11Lib42) degree in the 9 New North Saros Series with its themes of 'great physical effort, and a potential for 'violence' (Brady's Predictive Astrology #ad) which suggests the hired hand's toil that morning. Digging a grave whether empty or inhabited involves great physical effort along with the upheaval of disruptive Uranus (20Sag47) at the 5:00 am IC (Ending; Roots) so this also describes the desecrating, even shocking, event as an 'uprooting' took place.

Plus, the 1819 Moon (11Sag41) of physical body was hiding mysteries of her own in the darker light of her Crescent phase (70:12) after floating beyond her opposition to Paine's natal Saturn rising (note that Paine's reputation and authority had suffered in England, too). Meanwhile, transit Jupiter Rx @7AQ28 was in process of conjoining Paine's natal Aquarian Sun (someone famous got 'carried away'!) while a triple line-up of planets all @27Pisces ("A Harvest Moon" - that's some 'harvesting', Mr. Cobbett) had moved beyond Tom's natal Venus-South-Node conjunction (separation from females; isolation) and are opposed by 1819 Venus @27vir40, venal planet of jealousy, envy, and vanity.

Additionally, Tom's natal North Node of meetings and destiny was rising at 5:00 am, and the Sun @1Lib28 was conjunct Nemesis (the unbeatable foe). Well, Cobbett was certainly that, for Old Tom had had no say in the matter of his relocation whatsoever. At least Mr. Cobbett eventually thought better of his controversial actions on that morning and he did stop his criticism of Mr. Paine at some point. Still, that's a mighty harsh, cruel Saturn-Pluto duo surrounding wounded Chiron there, isn't it? And all in Pisces, sign of the victim - and with 1819 Neptune, planet of erosion, undermining, mourning, and loss, conjunct what may just be Tom Paine's natal 8th cusp of Death and the Occult. To me it seems that Mr. Cobbett probably had some measure of exploitation in mind.

Then a wider view reveals that 1819 Neptune in Sagittarius was opposing Tom's natal Neptune in Gemini (sign of the pampheteer) which denotes that, yes, Thomas Paine was a victim of persecution during his lifetime and even, as we witness here via the lens of Astrology, in death.

Now naturally, several other chart factors are noteworthy so I shall trust you, dear reader, to locate them if you're curious.

In closing, here are details concerning the life and career of William Cobbett (b. March 9, 1763 Farnham, Surrey; d. June 18, 1835 Normandy, Surrey) provided by his Wikipedia bio page where you'll find that Cobbett's last years unfortunately were marked by a case of paranoia.

Can the US Constitution Handle Today's Problems?

Someone Has a Ready-Made Answer to This Disturbing Question

In an article first published in The Nation, the US Constitution is deemed "incapable" of meeting the crises we now face. In American Democracy Was Never Supposed To Work we can read about Founding Fathers purposefully kneecapping democracy in order to protect wealthy plutocrats such as themselves, an idea heard often enough in recent years. It's a plan that continues to work against the common good to this day. Even so, amending the Constitution is a scary thought for who can be trusted to tinker once again under its venerable hood?

Meanwhile, we know that weaknesses in our political system make it necessary to institute more corrective measures than just removing a kicking-and-screaming Trump from the White House. However, certain operatives and saboteurs in and against the US have for years worked to undermine We The People's trust in government to such an extent that the Biden administration must find ways to regain such trust. No one thinks it will be easy. Everyone knows it's an imperative.

So now that years of undermining America have brought us to this chaotic pass, with a Constitution few have faith in and some are disloyal to, the Hegelian Dialectic scam - create a problem so you can offer the solution you were determined to implement all along - seems ready to be further foisted upon us as Americans are marched into a 'New Order' - well-timed by the Great Conjunction-Mutation of Jupiter and Saturn at Winter Solstice 2020, a 'new order' of major reforms and restrictions that the world is supposed to clamor for because nation-states can't handle such massive problems. However, it's the path to global authoritarianism so don't look too closely!
