New Moons Can Affect Events Similar to Solar Eclipses!

A while back we discussed the New Moon Prior to Election 2024 and its DC Horoscope. New Moons prior to elections are said to be predictive of conditions and outcomes although naturally other factors are involved as well, factors both 'on the ground' and astrologically, which will support or mitigate conclusions found in the New Moon chart. In other words, stuff can interfere.

What should be added to the previously published details concerning the 'New Moon Prior' which occurs on November 1, 2024 is that it's basically a Lunar Return to the Inauguration 2017 Horoscope. View the Inauguration 2017 Horoscope in a bi-wheel configuration with its Moon @9Sco21 - and it's disturbingly close to 9Sco35, which is the position of the New Moon Prior to Election 2024.

Meanwhile, I'm not overly fond of the rounded-up Sabian Symbol for Luna, rounded-up to "10 Scorpio": "A Fellowship Supper Reawakens Unforgettable Inner Ties" (Jones). Note that "Reawakens" is italized because people like Gov. DeSantis want the American people to remain asleep and unaware. All the better to gaslight and sneak up up on us with whatever the GOP has planned!

Now perhaps you agree that this lunar synchronicity possibly symbolizes a wake-up call to maga-ites who vote and/or to those who would cheat for Trump (or his fascist ilk) to shoe horn his bulk back into the White House. Obviously, this makes a Blue Tsunami necessary on November 5, 2024!

October Eclipses in Libra: 2005 and 2024

And yet the actual point of this post today is to display a bi-wheel of charts showing that the 8 South Solar Eclipse of October 2, 2024 activates by degree the 7 South Eclipse of October 3, 2005. Well, naturally this would be the case since the Sun returns to position annually, day by day. And when it comes to eclipses and to historical and societal events and conditions, it's all about cycles, isn't it?

In addition, we know that the repetition of eclipses offers society further opportunities for dealing with similar issues more correctly, fully, successfully! And of course, learning from past mistakes in order to keep from repeating them is an important thread beneath it all. Yet tragically, there are enemies of America and of democracy who prefer that we continue committing the same old mistakes. Example: Fascism and Nazism have been tried before and found wanting in the humane department; reverting to animalism is not the answer to what ails civilization, in the US or in any other country. Notable is that the 7 South Eclipse of August 21, 1933 is known around SO'W as the "Facism Rising Eclipse" (linked, below).

In the center of the bi-wheel, above, you see the Sabian Symbol for "11 Libra" penned on: "A Professor Peering Over His Glasses," plus, the negative expression of the degree: 'compelling subservience' (Jones).

So with the activation of the themes of one eclipse by another eclipse, we can combine their themes for more insight, using one solar lens to consider the other. This is done when the eclipses mannifest in different signs but in this case, both eclipses are in Venus-ruled Libra, sign of the Scales of Justice and of relationships. Therefore, fair play and cooperation are paramount on a positive level; the negative level suggests those who use the eclipse energies in an insincere, deceitful way; cowardice and overindulgence may also be included via those with an anti-societal determination.

Another method for insight is a review of historical conditions such as US Events of 2005, the year of Dubya Bush's failed nomination of lawyer Harriet Miers, then, on Halloween, Bush nominated Samuel Alito who turned out to be quite a sinister Halloween jester against the women of America.

All these issues, concerns, and more are worth considering by comparing the October Solar Eclipse of 2005 (war in the Middle East, SCOTUS and Alito) with the October 2024 Eclipse (war in Ukraine - and on Capitol Hill; SCOTUS, Clarence Thomas and - Sammy Alito) as they shove the Catholic religion into the heart of American society.

Saturn-Neptune Cycles 1989 and 2026

The Many Meanings Within The Saturn-Neptune Cycle

When in August 2022 a fussy post appeared here concerning the Saturn-Neptune combination's fact vs fiction energies and the duo's association with 'deep state' (Neptune-Saturn) concepts, the upcoming Great Conjunction of Saturn and Neptune at the Cardinal World Point of 00Aries, the Aries Point, was not mentioned. Naturally, this happens to be the Spring Equinox point, aka, the Aries Ingress, where years begin in keeping with Mars-ruled Aries as the starting point of many earthly events.

Plus, as you know, the four Cardinal World Points of zero Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn are where events tend to manifest on the physical plane, events which possess global consequences. In other words, Aries Point involvement is a big deal, and the heavyweight planets Saturn and Neptune have karmic implications for progress, setbacks, or, more likely, some blending of both. For such is life on Earth.

Meanwhile, the combined energies of the planetary pair reveal a multitude of meanings in Astrology depending on how and where the pair appears and is analyzed. And according to Reinhold Ebertin, the midpoint of Saturn-Neptune in a horoscope forms the 'illness axis' while secret (Neptune) government (Saturn) has often been gleaned from the pair's workings in political realms along with certain -isms such as Socialism, Bolshevikism, Marxism, Communism, etc - all of which are manmade concepts and propagandistic labels most often used to vilify one's opponents and promote social division, aka, the divide-and-conquer strategy so popular in US politics.

Additional potentials for the Saturn-Neptune pairing include false hopes that lead to disillusionment (A. Oken), plus, renunciation, asceticism, issues of poor-sick-or-depressed individuals and our social safety net programs, neuroses, undermining circumstances, distrust, insecurity, dissatisfaction, mood changes, peculiar characters, self-preoccupation, and/or idealism vs materialism concerns (R. Ebertin's The Combination of Stellar Influences #ad).

Then on a side note, it may be worth mentioning that in the November 1989 horoscope, the Moon @24Tau28 conjuncts the natal Midheaven (Goal Point) and demon star Algol of one Donald Trump - and transit Nemesis @22Sag49 conjuncts his natal Moon-South-Node conjunction of emotional alienation. Placing these Trumpian cosmic time links into context, period 3 began in or about 2013 and continues until February 2026. And the amazing thing? Four days prior to conjunction #3, it came to pass that on November 9, 2013, Donald Trump was in Moscow promoting his franchise known as the Miss Universe Pageant, and was, as I put it in a 2019 post, "making puppy eyes at Vladimir Putin." Well, since then we've observed how their love affair proceeded - to the detriment and undermining of our country and the entire world.

So now in 2023, as the Collective approaches the last years of the duo's current cycle, we may wish to cast our thoughts toward 2026, when solid Saturn's demand for realism and authenticity next meet wispy if inspirational Neptune's fraud and deception tendencies for the first time since their three conjunctions in 1989 in the 10-to-12-degree-range of Saturn-ruled Capricorn.

Below is a tri-wheel of all three 1989 Conjunctions of Saturn-Neptune, a planetary pair also containing rational vs irrational vibes. Timings are as close to accurate as my Solar Fire v9 software gives me. And note that 36 years divided by 3 = about 12 years, as mentioned above, so we're now in the third phase of their 1989 cycle dated November 13, 1989 until February 20, 2026 with reality 'star' Trump acting as America's orange albatross prancing about on what he hopes will again become the world stage of fame and fortune:

A Union of Neptune's Faith with Saturn's The Establishment?

On February 20, 2026, a new 36-year cycle of their concentrated, combined energies begins so that a DC Horoscope may be set up and studied if one is curious about societal, political, and even religious issues via a horoscope that's 'good for' approximtely 36 years!

You'll note that the above horoscope is set for Washington DC as a symbol of America, and for those who use the July 4, 1776 5:09/10 pm LMT Philadelphia, Pennsylvania horoscope to symbolize our nation, the Saturn-Neptune Conjunction of 2026 lands upon the IC Point of the chart with its Domestic Scene and Foundational implications and a suggestion of 4/10 Security concerns. Additionally, we should admit that a major reform of government seems a likely possibility along with 'new world order' implications (as in, 1776 - 2026?).

And since I marked the above horoscope, I've honed in the time of the exact 2026 conjunction to a more accurate 11:52:48 am est with Ascendant 17Gem45 - still with the chaotic 10th house Uranus of Donald Trump rising - his guiding planet - with its rounded-up Sabian Symbol of "Two Chinese Men Talking Chinese in a Western Crowd" which speaks of alien relationships of which Herr T has enjoyed gracious plenty, while the Symbol of his natal Moon-1989 Nemesis conjunction clocks in with "A Chinese Laundry."

DC Horoscope: Final J6 Hearing

Here's a quick posting of the DC Horoscope of what's apparently scheduled to be the final J6 Public Hearing of June 23, 2022 with my study notes penned squooshedly upon the chart:

Since the schedule of the J6 public hearings has experienced a measure of alteration, I don't wish to spend time on a June 23rd horoscope of an event which may be rescheduled or which may not be held, and I hope that dear readers understand that time is precious and should not be squandered! Therefore, you'll find quite a bit of information notated on the horoscope for those who care to read. jc (See above Update.)

Summer Solstice 2022: A Turn of Destiny

Here's a quick posting of the Summer Solstice 2022 Horoscope located for Washington DC. As you see, US 1776 Mars in Gemini rises (conflicts), transit Mars @20Aries conjuncts US 1776 Chiron ('21Aries': "A Pugilist Enters the Ring"; sacred warrior energy), and it's an Hour of Jupiter (highlighted in green). The chart is entitled, 'Sudden Developments, Power, Resolutions, and A Turn of Destiny'. In process of America's Pluto Return, transit Pluto Rx @28Cap00 is in the Corporate 8th house of Big Bu$iness from where Mr. Wealth and Stealth leads a BOWL shape of planets suggesting a focus on ambition and work issues. So to me it looks as if financial, investment, currency, and employment concerns are atop our summer calendar, in tandem with the ongoing pandemic affecting everything, of course.

Chart-ruler Mercury (highlighted in blue, 12th house, and nearing MIDAS (money issues and concerns), makes no applying aspects in the chart which emphasizes its sign and house positions and Mercury's links to Communications, Travel, Trade and Commerce, Education, and Young People. However, Mercury will soon conjunct US 1776 Uranus (8Gem55). See lower left for a few notes on this transit.

Then in the center of the chart are penned a few potentials regarding the 1st house Sun (00Can00:00; leadership) inconjunct powerful, subversive Pluto, potentials which include power and control issues, obsessive behavior, and/or practiced excuses.

Meanwhile, surreptitious, gaslighting planet Neptune @25Pis25 (10th house) veils Nemesis (hidden foes) and disguises the powerful Pluto-North Node midpoint; this denotes 'success via lies and fraud', along with 'losses' and/or 'disadvantages' (R. Ebertin). Certainly, money is prominent in the horoscope, if I've not made that clear before. And the fact that restrictive Saturn Rx @25AQ02 conjuncts Midheaven ('MC' = the goal) is not exactly comforting for it can indicate ambitious plans without a sound foundation, but can also denote reliable partners in joint ventures, possibly from abroad (9th house). Meanwhile, those who have abused their positions of responsibility won't fare very well with Saturn conjunct MC, and costly lawsuits are suggested.

Now also posited in the visible 10th house is a concern of mine because two difficult midpoints conjunct one another @22-23 Pisces: Mars-Saturn (the death axis - R. Ebertin) and Uranus-Pluto, the planetary duo with potentials for 'old order vs new order', transformation, collapse, revolt, resistance, protests, and workers' strikes (supported by Mercury's Sabian Symbolm, possibly a cosmic picture of unionization struggles). Then if we think of the three Uranus-Pluto conjunctions in the mid-1960s in mid-Virgo, we must unfortunately expect that civil unrest along with the bodily harm of Mars-Saturn energies may be in the offing this summer. After all, no empire lasts forever.

Winter Solstice 2021 Horoscope: Jupiter "at the bends"

October 1, 2021: As you can see in the Winter Solstice 2021 Horoscope, below, Pisces rises and Jupiter in Aquarius rises and rules the chart and the winter season. However, Jupiter @28AQ36 makes no applying aspects to other planets but is square the Nodal Axis and thus is at the bends - with South Node, a sacrifice or an offering is implied. Plus, Jupiter square the Nodal Axis suggests people whose social, religious, and ethical attitudes and aims are out of harmony with the society in which they live. Of course, expansive Jupiter contains multitudes so malcontents and zealots are not the only folk this Jupiter may represent. So if I were you, I'd include corporatists in one bunch or another along with military types, religious leaders, broadcasters, politicians, and, in Aquarius, humanitarians and philanthropists. Hopefully, a Jupiterian word, some form of protection will be afforded with Jupiter rising.

Winter Solstice December 21, 2021 10:59:08 am EST Washington, DC

With the Solstice Sun @00Cap00:00 falling within the 10th house of Career and Public Status, America's national reputation is on full display - and subject to scandal. Contained in the 9th house of Higher Education, Philosophy, and Foreign Lands, is activist Mars @5Sag47 conjunct the separative South Node of the Moon, an indicator of loners who tend to act independently (and possibly violently) but may also represent those who question the military values of our country (9th house = abroad) and, as has been the case for decades, of overblown defense spending (at the expense of the public's needs). So it looks as if the GOP won't be giving up their political advantage over the Biden administration through their criticism of the Afghanistan withdrawal or of other military and security policies into 2022. Sore losers can be that way.

Now as you see rising in 1st house are oceanic Neptune @20Pis31 suggesting large or mass events, probably involving water and/or storms or other weather-related events. That wounded healer Chiron rises as well is not lost on me yet I've no idea what this may entail unless healing is part of the compassionate Neptunian picture. Hopefully, any goodwill expressed will be genuine rather than superficial.

A 5th House Moon in Cancer

Highlighted on the chart is a YOD pattern with apex Moon @27Can01 (opposing US natal Pluto) in the 5th house of Risk-Taking, Creativity, and Children. This pattern sometimes indicates crisis conditions (which we know we have) and can also be a health indicator. Naturally our thoughts go to Covid infections and to innoculations which are said to be coming for younger children possibly by the end of the year. Either way, children, women, and families are spotlighted by the 5th house Moon in her own sign of Cancer. That the Moon opposes US natal Pluto (or is opposed by it) hints at extreme feelings, possible domestic difficulties, and the pairing makes objectivity and taking a positive attitude crucial for best results. Also we must guard against giving in to faulty assimilation of impressions that lead to self-defeat! (B. Tierney).

Meanwhile, YODs may also denote turning points, special tasks (with correct timing a key issue - the Moon is an excellent timer), and/or karmic opportunities for progress. Whatever is suggested here, the Moon at apex of a YOD pattern puts Lunar folk in the spotlight for taking positive, well-timed actions despite any emotional traumas of the past which cloud their perception of current reality.

Cosmic Blinks of Disruption: Solar and Lunar Eclipses

Ruling 2nd hou$e via Aries and 9th house via Scorpio, this 9th house Mars activates the Lunar Eclipse of May 26, 2021 @5Sag and the conditions and circumstances of that time period. Perhaps you remember that the May 26th Lunar Eclipse gave clues as to society's emotional reactions to the difficult 4 South Solar Eclipse of December 14, 2020, the day of the 2020 Electoral College Vote. Well, you know very well what issues are involved from the 2020 Election, no need to type them here.

But time moves on and Winter Solstice 2021 falls within the 5 New South Eclipse Series which manifests on December 4, 2021 @12Sag22 with benefits promised. (The 12Sag Eclipse is in 9th house of this chart conjunct Midheaven although it isn't penned upon the chart - and the Midheaven is unaspected by any planet so the beneficial themes of the eclipse may be the objectives of the winter season!) Heads up to those who use a US Horoscope with Sagittarius rising around 11/12Sag because this personalizes the December 4, 2021 Solar Eclipse to the US and implicates Jupiter as even more significant in this Solstice 2021 chart since the Great Benefic rises - and rises at 28AQ36 conjunct the people's Moon in the 'Sag rising' horoscope of 1776. This transit is meant to be a happy time of life unless other planetary factors interfere with or mitigate the positivity of a Jupiter-to-Moon transit. Considering the Winter Solstice 2021 Horoscope I'd say that our prognosis is mixed which means that political, financial, and other social tussles and negotiations continue through the winter season but with some benefits attached as Year 2021 ends and 2022 begins.

However, you may be pleased to note that only one mention of Tr*mp is marked on the chart - his natal Jupiter (@18Lib27 in his natal 2nd hou$e and Stationary) conjunct the Winter Solstice 2021 8th cu$p. And of course you know the Sabian Symbol for "19 Libra" = "A Gang of Robbers in Hiding." Very appropriate for the career grifter.

Now admittedly, there are many more chart factors of note (Mercury in Capricorn, the common-sensical yet possibly fraudulent "Mercury-Jupiter" on the Angles, the ongoing Saturn-Uranus square of old order vs new order, Saturn working in isolation, testy Mars leading a steamy Locomotive revealing him to be a ruthless, high-powered executive driven toward success, etc) but, mea culpa, I cannot possibly mention them all in this text. Therefore, penned on the chart for those who wish to read them are my study notes.

Yet before this post ends, mention must be made of the intense 11th house Venus-Pluto Conjunction in Capricorn, sign of government, law, business, and investment. Here is a paraphrasing of the Hegelian Thesis-Antithesis model from Michael Munkasey's book, Midpoint: Unleasing the Power of the Planets (#ad) by which we may find that the Venus-Pluto duo pretty much sums up the majority of what I've typed, above. And of course you know I must mention that "Thesis" = conditions set up on purpose so that solutions("Antithesis") 'must' be implemented just as ivory tower social tinkerers intended to do in the first place - with the aid of certain politicians, media figures, and other compromised actors who have been bought off and don't mind betraying America on behalf of a vicious global authoritarian movement, as we now see:

Thesis: Extremes of wealth hidden in secret places; model or beautiful waste processing or disposal systems; genetic alterations; transforming the natural beauty of a country.

Antithesis: Attracting elements of organized crime; breakdown within the social fabric of society; volcanic activity which destroys financial or agricultural centers.
