The 4th Amendment to the US Constitution is just one more thing that has been murdered since bloody Emperor George took office in 2001: Over 4000 US soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan; over one million Iraqis and Afghanis and many of our brothers and sisters in this country who have been either killed or devastated by catastrophic climate change and other violence that has become rampant.

~~:~~ checking the Astrology of Dec 15, 1791, I discovered that the Amendment falls within the 10 North Solar Eclipse Series--the same one we're now in--at the "Unmasking" degree (18AQ--Feb 2008) with an emphasis on:

communications; frustrating events bwo news, paperwork, or a young person; things must be worked through slowly because of energy drain and fatigue. (Brady's 'Predictive Astrology.')

If disregarding the oath he took to uphold,protect, and defend the US Constitution isn't enough to impeach George Bush, I guess nothing ever will be. He, his colleagues, and enablers have drained the energy out of the nation, the military, the treasury, the Constitution, and my usual good nature.

Evening UPDATE:

Sheehan Arrested while in John Conyers' office--and she's going to run against Nancy Pelosi, she says, for not impeaching Bush and Cheney. Guess Pelosi doesn't want the buck for the Iraq mess any closer to her desk than it already is.#


The March for Impeachment began at Arlington Cemetery today at 10:00 am and headed toward the office of John Conyers.

With chart-ruler Mercury (march!) making no applying aspects whatsoever in the March's chart which you see here, the outcome doesn't look promising and won't have the desired effect other than some publicity (Water Grand Trine with Moon, Mercury, and NN...Water Grand Trines seek peace.)

There is a Mystic Rectangle between the Moon (the People; publicity: a woman), marching Mercury, Mars (the military; police; the male population; instigators and activists), and the Ascendant, which represents the March itself.

In Bil Tierney's book, Dynamics of Aspect Analysis, we find that the
Mystic Rectangle pattern describes a practical mysticism which involves two potentially awareness-revealing, illuminating oppositions (and here the Moon is conjunct Inaugural Descendant (setting), and Mars has recently passed his conj to Inaugural Ascendant (Jan 20) representing the presidency or the president himself.)

Disruptive, rebellious Uranus is conj Desc/opposite the March's Ascendant.

Thanks to the Mystic Rectangle, oppositions are not as prone toward paralysis and stalemate for the pattern adds helpful sextiles and trines (see chart: the pattern is marked in pink.)

Through inspired use, the Mystic Rectangle can reach fruition of its ideals--which may eventually lead to the desired results now denied by today's lack of applying aspects of chart-ruler Mercury.

In this chart I believe Mars = George Bush, the self-styled "war president" with the Moon (the public; a woman such as Cindy Sheehan who is leading this effort) opposite as we see Sheehan opposing Bush once again.

With Mars as apex planet in a difficult, rigid Fixed T-square pattern between Saturn oppo Neptune (possibly a hold-over from Bush' colon surgery Saturday, results not yet revealed):

Sat/Neptune = Mars: listlessness; lack of zest; inactivity through emotional depression or sickness; preoccupations that can't be explained. (Occupation in Iraq isn't so well-explained either.-jc)

Apex Mars in a Fixed T-square is the headstrong individual who can endure outer hardships and obstacles while plodding along toward his personal goals.

Regardless of how challenging opposing forces are, he doggedly persists and seldom accepts modification of his plan of action from external pressure. This bulldozer pushes anything or anyone out of his path as they attempt to block him from his goals. With a one-track mind and strength of conviction, he consolidates his will and refuses to give in and compromise. (Tierney.)

But you don't need an astrology chart to tell you that about George W. Bush, do you?

Camp Casey is for sale--Cindy Sheehan is giving up leadership of the anti-war movement on behalf of a country she feels killed her son Casey and which is "beholden to and run by a war machine that even controls what we think."

Sheehan's conclusions on the so-called two-party system match my own--that the system is "corrupt" and "rapidly descending into, with nary a check or balance: a fascist corporate wasteland," as she writes on Dailykos with her Niobe (asteroid, keywords: the grieving mother) energy still intact whether she continues leading or not.

When I peeked at her chart this morning it was no surprise to see that her 10th house Uranus (6Leo05) and Pluto (28Leo48) are being visited by restrictive and controlling Saturn...and Uranus/Pluto are all about transformation and revolution, quite the opposite of Saturn's energy.

Uranus/Pluto = Saturn: self-will; egotism; exposure to extreme pressure from others; toppled from position; separation.

This gives a different perspective on her simply 'giving up' leadership of the anti-war movement yet we know that astrology may describe our actions or what's going on in the environment...or both. And tr Neptune--today at 23AQ--has been in its opposition dance with Saturn and has opposed Sheehan's Uranus/Pluto midpoint as well...

Uranus/Pluto = Neptune: unfulfilled wishes; fatigue; nervous disease; the knowledge of human nature.

Understandably she's all wumped out and needs a year or two of seclusion and rest plus 2008 is her Chiron Return year--and a triple one at that from Feb to Nov.

And perhaps the Sabian Symbol (MEJ version) of her natal Ascendant describes her best:

"26Lib": "An eagle and a large white dove turning one into the other."

She has spoken and yelled truth to power for our country and now it's someone else's turn. I hope they do as well.

One of the most notorious war crimes of modern time was perpetrated today in 1968, when soldiers of the US Army's Americal Division killed as many as 500 Vietnamese civilians in the village of Mai Lai. The act prompted a significant shift in public opinion against the war. Despite being convicted of the killings, Lt William Calley, who commanded the soldiers responsible, served only 3 1/2 years of house arrest before being released. Nearly 20 years later, many compare the war in Vietnam with the difficult situation US and allied forces find themselves in Iraq.
