America's only Neptune Return

Through the years in multiple SO'W posts, I've fussed about the fact that the Republican Party of 1854 experienced a Neptune Return (a three-fer to mid-Pisces: "A Lady in Fox Fur") and has shifted its identity and public image into something unrecognizable to most people. This is why we began to hear, "not your father's Republican Party" ad nauseum.

Now, I'm finally getting around to fussing about America's one and only Neptune Return - also a three-fer due to slow-moving Neptune's 164-year orbit and the gas giant's tendency to (seemingly) station and move retrograde as viewed from Earth, in its role as one of the generational or outer planets, as we call them.

Significantly during America's Neptune Return period, Solar Eclipses manifested with themes that ran in the background of society and, depending on multiple factors, influenced or perhaps disrupted earthly events as Uranian "wild cards" of the Universe, aka, "Cosmic Blinks" able to uncover secrets which shady Neptune prefers to keep hidden. Therefore, sudden peep-eyes may occur!

Now for your consideration, below is a list of Solar Eclipses that occurred between December 1937 and the end of 1939. Added to the image is a hand-written listing of the three dates that transit Neptune returned to position in our nation's July 4, 1776 Horoscope set for 5:09 pm LMT Philadelphia, PA; this timing places Cardinal World Points of manifestation upon America's MC-IC axis, and 1776 Neptune clocked in @22Vir25:08; and as you see, eclipse themes from 12 North to 14 North are listed as well; solar eclipses from those series will repeat in our era during the years 2028 and 2029; (please pardon my messiness!):

When Neptune is in the Sign of Virgo

Having nebulous Neptune in fact-based Virgo, its sign of detriment, isn't the easiest placement for the Divine Source planet, as you may agree. Undiscovered until 1846, we might assume that the Founders were unaware of the planet's tendency to undermine, subvert, erode, defraud, deceive, and such - especially with Neptune's square to US Mars in Gemini ("fog of war," confused motivation, misguided action, etc). To me it seems that our Neptune has been a mixed bag - and all three times that Neptune returned to its 1776 degree, it re-squared US Mars by transit which must have complicated and confused matters.

Plus, a primary factor with Neptune in Virgo is instability in employment conditions which the American people are overly familiar with - especially now that transit Neptune in Pisces has recently opposed US Neptune in Virgo. This major transit has brought persecution and dissolution with it, aimed at our civil and other rights, plus, a shifting of ideals and ideologies. Then with Mercury-ruled Virgo involved we should add difficult health implications including the fact that the 1937--1939 period is when adulteration of our food began, and continues today much to our detriment. Meanwhile, the losses and hardships of the Great Depression years inspired a materialistic streak within the masses (Neptune). How could it not?

Then if we add Neptune's 9th house position in our 1776 horoscope to this fuss of a consideration, we have attractions to cultism, an unfortunate tendency that has helped to sink (oceanic Neptune) our country under the hoax-like, scam-prone conditions of recent years made worse by bad faith actors working on behalf of our nation's enemies - which involves Neptunian subversion, spying, the Big Lie, and the Internet, a weblike Neptunian creation.

Now to close, you'll see notated on the image that Franklin Delano Roosevelt was president during this Neptunian time frame, while John Nance Garner IV, aka, "Cactus Jack," was Vice President. 2021 Neptune opposes American Revolution Neptune

Feb 10, 2021: The following is an incidental Political Astrology note inspired by the January 6, 2021 Tr*mp Mob Attack on the US Congress:

Shadows, Veils, and Masks! For the third of three times since 2020, transit Neptune in Pisces will soon oppose Neptune (20Vir23) in the American Revolution Horoscope (April 19, 1775 3:29:28 pm Lexington, MA). The opposition began on May 8, 2020, perfected again on August 9, 2020, and finally will complete its oppositional transit on March 4, 2021 - the day of the proposed 'Shadow Inauguration' of Donald Tr*mp! No word on whether a POTUS-esque mummery will actually take place that day or any other but just the thought of such an absurd ceremonial fantasy reminds me of the mockery Tr*mp made of the office of the US Presidency and of the sledge hammer he as an authoritarian figurehead wielded against democracy and the US Constitution. Neptunian shadow it is!

Now with slow-moving Neptune's orbital cycle lasting approximately 164 years, I suspect that not much has been written about a Neptune-opposite-Neptune transit (which is also occurring vs US natal Neptune @22Vi25) but here's what little I know: That this is period of generational conflicts over ideals which are timed to shift from materialism to more spiritual beliefs, battles over issues of racism, religious persecution, and other social concerns, and for many Americans, this is a time of deep reflection especially in relation to the Virgo-Pisces victim-savior polarity and the persecution, suppression, oppression, and exploitation of We The People by wealthy oligarchs, both domestic and foreign.

So in light of the current slide of the US into authoritarian government, we might say that the tide has hopefully been stemmed by the firing of Donald Tr*mp in November, the Electoral College Vote Count certification which proceeded to completion on January 6th, the insurgents being vanished from the halls and chambers of Congress that day, the subsequent installment of Joe Biden in the Oval Office, and the current Senate Trial for inciting insurrection, I say Huzzah!

Furthermore, since in Mundane Astrology divine-source Neptune also represents compassion, the American people now have gentler policies being proposed and/or implemented from the White House as many of Tr*mp's most aggregious actions are in process of being rolled back.

Rather a shift of ideals, would you say?

Republican Party: Uranus Returns 2020-2021

Will There Still Be a Republican Party?

As you know, the Republican Party recently experienced its Neptune Return/s (5x) while its name morphed into "Conspiracy Party" and other such Neptunian labels (by pundits and others, not just by yours truly). Many people questioned the Party's viability under the Trump regime and we may well continue to wonder into 2021.

Meanwhile, with this post it's equal time for the Party's Uranus in Taurus, I say, so below is a dual image of the third of three Uranus Returns of the Republican Party, plus, the founding horoscope of the Party (lower left) that I used to create the April 22, 2021 Return chart. (Yes, there are multiple horoscopes for the Party's inception, most in 1854 but one set for 1853 - and those are only the ones I have in my files, there could be others! Confusion about the Party's true identity, how very Neptunian of them!)

Now for a human being, the Uranus Return around age 84 tends to be a time when the past no longer matters as much if at all to the native (and may have been mostly forgotten!), plus, much separation has occurred as one may have outlived family members and friends. So if these potentials can apply to a group of people or an entity, perhaps this 'new' condition is proving to be the case for the GOP these days. Trump has liked inserting the idea that we've "turned a corner" when it comes to the pandemic, hasn't he?

And so with Uranus we must also consider that with the Uranus Cycle of approximately 84 years, the Party experienced an earlier Uranus Return - another 'three-fer' - which perfected 3x on: May 10, 1937, December 14, 1937, and February 20, 1938 during the FDR presidency. If you can, check out those 1930s horoscopes which are chocked full of interesting features. For one example, the February 20, 1938 Return chart (#3 0f 3, not shown here) occurred during a Saturn-Uranus square which suggests the 'new order replaces old' concerns of those difficult years, supported by Nazi zealots, and in America by FDR's New Deal programs that saved the American people's bacon (and would continue to do so if the greedy GOP would leave them alone; you may disagree but there it is).

Meanwhile, the April 22, 2021 Return chart shown below reveals a Jupiter-Uranus square denoting that goals and group projects will require independent actions that must then be coordinated for best results. Sudden turns in destiny are possible under a Jupiter-Uranus influence as well as various sorts of breakthroughs. Discontent with political conditions are also suggested by the square. Yet I must wonder, considering the effect on the Party by Trump over the last four or five years: will the square indicate a break-up?

As for the basic indications of Uranus in Venus-ruled Taurus, a money and growth sign, potentials are suggested for: people who seek out-of-the-ordinary sources of money or income; those who use individual methods of finance; speculation; risking all in one go; and/or premature action that leads to failure (Ebertin). Any or all may apply to the Republican Party's basic nature and suggest to me, if not to you, that some of their financial sources could be illegitimate, or at the very least, unorthodox. Whatever they are, they are probably well hidden from prying eyes.

So based on all the 1853-1854 founding dates and horoscopes of the Republican Party, Uranus was in Taurus in each one so the above indications of Uranus in Taurus apply, plus, any that you, dear reader, care to think of. And that's not even counting the revolutionary, reactive, disruptive, separative qualities of erratic Uranus the rebellious anarchist with *Utopian ideas that go against civilization!
