12 North Eclipse, US South Node, Pluto, and Demeter

From the ancient and well-known traits of goddess Demeter, an abundance of interesting associations can be gleaned, and since the annular 12 North Solar Eclipse of January 26, 2028 will be attended in transit by asteroid/archetype Demeter (plus, asteroid Hera, the 'legal wife' keeping accounts), Demeter's role as "the legislator" is important among them. Other associations include sacred law, the harvest, agriculture, and fertility so naturally food supplies such as grains are suggested along with potential shortages.

Plus, the 12 North Eclipse of early 2028 is also significant because it manifests upon US natal South Node, a Saturnian point of separation (and neurosis) We The People have inherited from way back in July 1776. To me this implies past reliance upon an ancient cult, a reliance that America's Founders may have used especially since motifs of Demeter (aka, Ceres) are sprinkled across the city of Washington DC, wheat sheafs and all, and of course, all goddess figures (even the Virgin Mary) are really Mesopotamian goddess Inanna in disguise, aren't they?

Inanna's associations include sex, war, justice, and political power. A personal fret of mine is that one of Demeter's symbols is the torch which has come to symbolize white power neo-nazis in our day, and before that, 'the torch' implicates Illuminati subversions and sabotage (ex: eternal flames over certain victims' gravesites). In addition, there's the Uranus-Neptune duo that influenced the 1700s and inspired the establishment of America - our Founding Fathers at work again using Enlightenment principles. In the eclipse chart you see, below, Uranus-Neptune = Aries Point, the primary Cardinal Point of World Events. Now the Aries Point (00Ari00:00) is not marked on the chart but it rises just before Neptune (4Ari21 conjunct Minerva) in 12th house. You'll find various midpoints and asteroids penned here and there.

Meanwhile, mention should be made of the three Great Conjunctions of Uranus and Neptune all through 1993 at or around "18 Capricorn" (POLITICAL POWER: "A British Warship," etc) which was activated by transiting Pluto off and on in 2017, you-know-who's first year mucking up and diverting the US government onto a darker path. Again I'll type the word picture out for you - 1993 Uranus-Neptune = tr Pluto: 'The big picture must be followed, very little option to do otherwise' (Tyl). Sounds like one of those sinister offers that can't be refused, like a mobster would make - to threaten politicians and others in order to force them to do his bidding and support his anti-American agenda or he'll sick his thugs on them or on their family members. Well, it would explain a lot of what goes on these days, imho. So in that vein, see Jupiter, below.

What is penned on the chart are the Themes of 12 North Solar Eclipses (near the top, center) including the last manifestation of a 12 North Eclipse which occurred on January 15, 2010 @25Capricorn conjunct President Obama's natal Saturn Rx.

Now in closing, let's look at the planetary star of the show, or at least the supporting actor alongside Pluto conjunct the Eclipse: Jupiter Rx @27Vir11 in the 6th house of Military and Civil Services, plus, Health, Employment, and our Daily Rounds. When we round up the degree we have "28Virgo" = A Bald-Headed Man Who Has Seized Power." And since Jupiter acts as the Handle of a Sling pattern, what can be expected? Well, a Sling pattern behaves much like a Bundle (the pattern of dictator Mussolini) with the Handle planet (or planets) outside the Bundle's 120-degree range and indicating a Jupiterian figure (or figures) obsessed with a "mission" that must be fulfilled (like an offer that can't be refused - maybe a previous one that reared its destructive head in 2017?)

Additionally, we know that Jupiter in Mercury-ruled Virgo (the goddess: Demeter again; also the analyst and critic) suggests an organizer filled with excessive ambition but one who is perhaps rather thoughtless with details and known for his (or her!) superficial criticism. Positively, A Virgoan Jupiter denotes teaching ability and folks with moral and ethical values so let's hope for the positive as 2028 approaches and that America's dependence upon our national South Node from 1776 and the Enlightenment principles our country was founded upon will be honored despite the subversive saboteurs who bedevil and undermine such principles.

After all, this horoscope also shows that the 12 North Eclipse in 2028 manifests at the time of a Nodal Half-Return for the US, a period when weaker relationships and alliances tend to break off and only our stronger more supportive unions survive and hopefully become more dependable. Add to this the indications that a solar eclipse in Aquarius suggests karmic opportunities can be realized by viewing the past (SN), not as a burden we must bear, but as a guide to future development! Humanitarian groups with ethical standards will play their parts for we have a chance to change the course America is on if we so desire by finding innovative solutions and by using a careful and measured approach.

Election Day Mercury Rx starts early w Voter Fraud in FL

The RNC has cut ties with one of Nathan Sproul's voter registration services which the GOP hired at a cost of millions, and they say they've parted ways due to faked listings of voters' names and addresses.

Looks like the recent Nodal Half Return of the Republican Party is showing itself as well since partnerships and alliances that aren't strong enough to stand some strain may be broken off when the transiting North Node of the Moon--the Head of the Dragon--meets the Tail of the Dragon as described by the separative South Node!

Recent grouses and critiques by Republicans against Mitt Romney and his presidential campaign are along Nodal Half Return lines, too. But never fret: Mitt can manage any criticism because he says, "I've got broad shoulders."

Guess I failed to notice the impressive width of Mittens' shoulders because I've been focused on the off-key, none-too-bright, tone deaf remarks coming out of his mouth by way of his Piscean Mercury. Please tell me that someone has explained to Mitt by now why airplane windows don't open!

Nodal Half-Return: GOP breakthrough or break-up?

Did you catch opinion writer Dana Milbank's piece in The Washington Post on August 21 about what's going on these days within the Republican Party? Will Hurricane Isaac blow into Tampa, Florida just in time to mete out divine retribution on the GOP next week and mess with their erstwhile POTUS-VP nominees, Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan?

In spite of Isaac, the nominating brouhaha will go on whether RNC 2012 is soaked to its gills or not, is what I heard. They're already in Tampa drafting their platform, says Business Week.

Determination in the face of natural law shows the Republican Party's usual stalwartly irrational, stubborn stance on most things they intend to butt heads on like the old goats they are.

Yet there have been intimations of riffs and tiffs within the party itself brought on in part by Rep. Todd Akin's mysoginism gone public (he probably wasn't supposed to let that particular pregnant cat out of the legislative bag on August 19) for Mike Huckabee has sided with Akin while Bill Kristol has scolded Akin's badly timed verbage concerning rape and abortion. To my way of thinking, Akin's political platform intends to force upon American women the Republican Party's antiquated, parternalistic notions which have a decidedly Talibaneque ring to them--if Inauguration 2013 hobbles America with another GOP White House.

Astrologically we know that RNC 2012 occurs under the auspices of the Republican Party's Nodal Half-Return with transiting North Node (NN) conjunct the party's natal South Node (SN), and vice versa. As I mentioned in a recent comment, this describes a period when relationships which are weak in some way tend to break apart and separation is on the menu. However, if relationships or partnerships survive this time frame they will strengthen instead, perhaps because of the rough patch partners go through together.

Another difficult indicator is the still-of-influence Solar Eclipse of May 20, 2012 @00Gem20 which conjoins the GOP's natal SN, a separative point in any chart. Falling within the 14 South Saros Series, this Annular eclipse also conjoins by degree Fixed Star Alcyone ('mystical but judgmental'; 'something to cry about'--or, as I blogged months ago, maybe it will just rain a lot. But I didn't forecast a hurricane for RNC 2012! Well, carrying on the separation theme, 'exile' is another potential for Alcyone, plus, 14S has Mercury-Pluto content within it from its initial manifestation--August 29, 984!--in finicky Virgo with a theme of 'an obsessive idea is finally accepted'--Brady.)

And that successful Jupiterian 'acceptance' comes after long hard work which may point to Mitt Romney's candidacy since he's been campaigning for the presidency for many many years, and/or it may relate to--gasp!--the Republican attempt to control women's reproductive systems and lives by instituting Talibanesque laws that crush our hard-won rights. Yet according to my Bible, Christ came to bring the world the New Law which in 2012 surely makes it plain that Old Testament times are long gone! So either obsessive idea seems horrific and I do hope that masses of American voters--the ones the Goatish Old Party doesn't prevent, that is--turn out on November 6, 2012 to take another chance on the *Democratic Party in spite of the fact that they're in on the NWO game, too.

For life in America 2012---particularly for women--seems to have come down to A Vote for Which Century we prefer to live in as we go forward into the future, and casting a vote against such antiquated, often scientifically incorrect notions about women's health seems to be the very least we ladies can do.

As previously stated here, I see heredity and ancestry where many others see past lives which means that to me, SN issues come through the generations of my ancestry...which includes family shadows and family myths. It's the unfinished business of our ancestors and we may feel compelled to 'tidy up' in our lifetimes.

Yet I find Elizabeth's writing on the Nodal Axis illuminating and useful all the same and you will, too.

In fact, many astrologers consider the NN to be the most important point in the natal chart, and much about one's life mission may be gleaned from NN, SN, and Sun positions when taken together.

And with the recent move from Pisces into Aquarius of the transiting NN, our collective path has now switched from the victim-savior/pragmatist-mystic axis of Pisces into the Aquarian humanitarian-egoist influence where it will remain through the 2008 campaign, and will reach 9AQ20 by Inauguration Day 2009.

This tells us that America will be experiencing her Nodal Half-Return (NN to SN, SN to NN) in April 2009 (True Node) which is a time of separation in relationships and associations--at least in those that are not strong enough to withstand the separative influence of the Saturnian SN.

If associations do withstand the Half-Return they are strengthened in some way, but since Bush & Co already have the US virtually standing alone in the world, keep your eye peeled for April 2009 and thereafter.

Therefore, 9Leo20 puts tr SN conjunct the natal Mercuries of George Bush and the GOP (which are conj at 9Leo+, along with Al Gonzales' Mercury) on Jan 20, 2009 and is part of the reason why I must wonder if a Republican will be ensconced once again in the White House come Jan 20, 2009 (surely not a Bush again.)
