As we see on his Wikipedia page, election denier, "Deep State" conspiracy theorist, former paramour of Russian agent Maria Butina, and former CEO of Overstock dot com Patrick Byrne, was born on November 29, 1962 with Sun and Mercury in early Sagittarius, and Moon in late Sagittarius, or more likely in business-and-government-oriented Capricorn.

Apparently, Byrne's romance with Russian agent Maria Butina may have been the last straw for company investors--see a previous post Maria Butina's hearing on Capitol Hill showing the hearing's horoscope of December 12, 2018 with transit Saturn @9Capricorn conjunct her natal Neptune, the "grim face of reality" transit.

For as with 'everything Trump', reality vs fantasy plays the key role in cheating for success, aka, fraud. Astrologically, there's even a cosmic time link between Trump's Big Lie and The Eclipse of Fan-Boy Patrick Byrne, anti-democracy election denier and known promoter of conspiracy theories galore - a perfect co-conspirator for Trump.

And as reported in May 2023 by Sam Levine in The Guardian, Dominion is not done fighting 2020 elections lies via pending defamation cases against Rudy Guiliani, Sidney Powell, pillow guy Mike Lindell - and Patrick Byrne.

So above is a noon natal horoscope for the "mad king" who was present at the 6-hour Oval Office meeting with Trump, Mike Flynn, Sidney "Kraken" Powell, and others on the night of December 18, 2020 until after midnight of December 19th, after which came Trump's "will be wild" tweet (timestamped tweet's horoscope shown, his 2nd hou$e taboo-breaking Jupiter rising) which served as a call to arms and led to his January 6, 2021 coup attempt against the US Congress to stop or disrupt our tradition of the peaceful transfer of power. (Sore loser cries wahhhh!)

Now as you see, Byrne's 19 North Prenatal Solar Eclipse ("PE") is penned on the above chart (conjunct the 'noon' Descendant) with themes of: "realism; coming down to earth; seeing an old situation for what it really is; tackling the truth" (paraphrasing B. Brady).

Where the cosmic time link comes in is the fact that an eclipse from Byrne's 19 North Eclipse Series occurred on September 1, 2016 (@9Virgo, opposed by deceptive Neptune @10Pisces) and operated as the PE of both Election 2016, and Inauguration 2017. That's fact-based Virgo opposed by deceptive Neptune, planet of mass media, in shady, confusing Pisces - and there's Herr Trump "tackling the truth" - with his 'Big Lie'.

Now it's 2023, another presidential election has been held (and lost!), and America's orange albatross is still trying to tackle the truth - out of existence! Perhaps we can agree that Trump's entire political "career" has been one long reality vs fantasy fiasco for the American people and for democracy. But that's what We the People get when a violent mobster, racketeer, money-launderer, and conman is shoehorned into the Oval Office with a little help from his comrades, and gullible voters. Plus, the words, blackmail and bribery easily spring to mind along with favors and pay-offs.

So let's return to our consideration of Patrick Byrne's PE which links him right in with Trump's underhanded activities. For Byrne, his 19 North manifested on July 31, 1962 @7Leo48 (rounded-up to "8Leo" = "A Bolshevik Propagandist'). Note that with a solar eclipse in Leo (his Mars sign), one must avoid pride and arrogance for karmic progress to be made. And on July 31, 1962, restrictive Saturn Rx @9Aquarius opposed his natal PE which suggests a man who refuses to face up to his karmic obligations, and places blame for his problems upon others; to correct problems reality must be faced and corrections honestly made. Oops. Funny how this sounds a lot like Patrick's idol, Trump.

In addition, often-deceptive Neptune @10Scorpio squared Byrne's PE which indicates potentials for "inborn fraudulent tendencies" and "chicanery"; "realism and honesty" are necessary in order to erase karmic debts (paraphrasing R. Linemen). This implies inheritance from his father, who must be his role model in business matters, I imagine - which also sounds like Trump and Papa Fred. Byrne's Eclipse and Saturn formed a T-square that points toward Neptune in Scorpio, not the best indicator of morality and, unless temptations are avoided, the placement involves more than a tinge of sex and/or drug abuse.

Then there's the domineering "might makes right" attitude shown by his Sun-Pluto square (lower left) which resonates closely with similar Plutonian character traits of Donald Trump. This particular square tends to be a negative for relationships, especially when expressed in the realms of "romance." Still, it suggests that his ego (Sun) was determined to achieve his goals and objectives, with the 'success at any cost' potential for powering through any and all obstacles. Obviously, a strong will is indicated. Oh, but there's more determination --

The Highly Motivated Natal Mars of a Busy Boy

Now before closing, we should mention Patrick Byrne's Mars (@21Leo) which is unaspected in his natal chart by another planet yet is influenced by his powerful Pluto-NN midpoint (penned on the chart, upper right), plus, Mars leads a Locomotive shape of the ruthless executive with the rest of his planets following along. And if you read his Wikipedia bio page, you may be impressed by the large number of his business and political activities through the years. Unaspected, his me-first Mars in dramatic Leo is able to act in an unrestrained, boundless way and with sudden outbursts of anger or aggression; irrational actions can result (B. Tierney).

As for Mr. Byrne's 19 North PE repeating in time to influence Election 2016, he may have exulted over the thought that his barge of Plutonian domination, forcefully driven by fellow fantasist Herr Trump, had finally reached safe harbor in the White House, then in December 2020 Byrne plotted with the others hoping to repeat the 'successful' results of Election 2016 despite the will of a majority of voters in November 2020.

Because for some people, "might makes right," doncha know.

Through the years, when it comes to the form and structure of the US government, many Americans and various politicians have heard or used such terms as secret, invisible, or shadow government, along with the Republican propaganda term, "deep state," so popular in recent years. Such mysterious doings the labels conjure, ably stirring up anxiety within the public! Of course, "deep" relates to oceanic Neptune, while astrological Saturn rules over the realms of government, law, and business, and the extent of an actual "deep state" in the US refers to the large number of career civil servants required to keep our government systems up and running. Not very mysterious - more like dull and everyday.

So now in 2022, the US remains saddled with a former president who imagines himself still in power, and who was "fraudulently" kicked out of the White House in January 2021 by President Joe Biden, he says. But in fact, if we look up "sore loser" in the dictionary, there's an orange-hued mugshot of Donald Trump whose underhanded behavior and love of taking revenge defines the term!

The Dark Shadow of a Shadow Government

Now earlier today, we discussed yesterday's FBI search of Mar-a-Lago so the accusations are flying, with "deep state" showing up already (see above headline - from July). These disturbing circumstances, which include Trump's Lunar and Venus Returns yesterday (!) have put me in a mood to repost what Michael Munksey provides in the form of the Hegelian Dialectic in the realms of Politics and Business (in America, politics is the business) in his book, Midpoints: Unleashing the Power of the Planets (#ad) concerning the realism-vs-fantasy combination of Saturn and Neptune.

Saturn-Neptune potentials for expression in political and societal realms include:

Thesis: delusions among the real leadership (aka, 'shadow government' and the aims of their misguided ideologies - jc); efficient use of expert advice; mistaken religious leaders; long lasting programs that have no real purpose; misuse of law officers; policies which restrict spies.

Antithesis: leaders deceive about the exercise of control; respected people involved in questionable practices; a leader capitulates; deficient business practices exposed; reliable equipment failures.

Well, I don't know about you, but to me most of the Saturn-Neptune potentials listed here describe perfectly the misguided, loose-cannon style of the orange blighter, his wide girth stuck to the bottom of America's Roman sandal like a big fat wad of sour, smelly bubblegum that only grows more problematic and unsavory with age.

Summer Solstice 2017: Saturn at Midheaven

) With old man Saturn at the top of the chart, this partially describes the summer season of 2017 in America. Neptune in Pisces rises in the chart providing instability, discontent, and a cover-up atmosphere to the proceedings. And of course, the Saturn-Neptune pairing always conjures the ghost of America's invisible (Neptune) government (Saturn) or what is called today the *Deep State composed of a faction of global imperialists who never met a war they didn't promote and profit from. Add other Saturn-Neptune indicators such as cuts for social safety net programs and sanctuary cities and the guns vs butter struggle is on.

A Saturn Summer with More Saturn

In Astrology archetypal Saturn denotes conservative politicians, executives, administrators, lawmakers, organizers, and other ambitious people--here visible at the Public Reputation and Career Point (MC) of the chart. Of course, seniors are also signified by old man Saturn which hints of the social safety net programs that are on Washington's political menu and the restriction and denial that conservatives have been determined to enforce since the days that FDR's New Deal began.

(How dare tax monies paid by We The People be used to fund their own needs? What a notion!)

Now as you know, in transit Saturn now tarries via retrograde in Jupiter-ruled Sagittarius, sign of The Seeker, traveler, foreigner, refugee and/or emigrant, and will enter its own sign of Capricorn in mid-December 2017 once the planet passes one of the Cardinal World Points of manifestation (00Cap00). Correct me if memory isn't serving here, but Saturn in Capricorn is not a good placement for the markets. And in light of recent political events, it suggests even more use of strong-arm tactics against We the People through actions of the Trump administration, the Justice Department, the EPA, our nation's Legal System, loosening of protective regulations and laws, and those klannish good ole boy police departments.

Now Saturn conjunct MC is a negative indicator if other planets afflict the duo but other than separating oppositions from Sun and Mercury which cause frustration, this is not so much the case for here we have Saturn in a Fire Grand Trine if we use the 6th house North Node in Leo as one of the triangle's points. This suggests a Saturnian person with leadership ability but one who is totally self-absorbed and demanding that his wants and needs be met immediately--an egotist, we could say. Wonder who this could be shown in the chart at the pinnacle of his career (MC)? Attention, approval, appreciation, applause, and reward are musts for this Saturn! And ixnay on accountability please! Never mind that Saturn only rewards such things as diligence, maturity, authenticity, and honesty, all of which may be problems for most of the political class, both here and abroad.

Meanwhile, the summer's trines to Saturn from radical activist Uranus (3S42) and the North Node (1A45; public contact/publicity/ future direction) support conservative Saturn in what is perhaps a closed circuit of energy denoted by the Fire Grand Trine but if not, these are definitely three trines of beneficial energies. The fact that both trines are separating (waning) in this chart may or may not be especially significant (and are unconscious) since transit Saturn will turn Direct on August 25th, shifting energies in more ways than one.

While stationing, planets gain strength, and Saturn's Direct Station in August hits directly upon Mr. Trump's natal Moon (21Sag) and South Node while opposing his natal Sun-North Node conjunction which suggests that his approval rating continues to be lukewarm and his work (Saturn) may lack all the beneficial rewards he demands. Health issues, relationships, and family matters (natal Moon) remain in the Saturnian spotlight as well, plus, transit Saturn simultaneously triggers the 'sapphire star' Ras Alhague with its health-and-healing connotations and other less desirable implications.

In the Summer Solstice chart, Saturn-ruled Capricorn falls upon the 11th cusp affecting Groups, Associations, Hopes and Wishes. The planet's restrictive, delaying energies bounce across the Cancer-Capricorn polarity into the 5th house of Risk-Taking, Gambling, Children, and other Creative Pursuits this summer so for those who follow the astrological effects upon the escapades and political notions of our groper-in-chief, the Summer Solstice 2017 Horoscope is a handy chart to watch especially since Gemini Mr. Trump in the Oval Office is playing the stand-in representative on the world stage (MC) for America herself.

In 8 minutes 44 seconds, here is John W. Whitehead explaining America's Deep State which is what Astrology has called the Secret, or Invisible (Neptune) Government (Saturn) as seen in US natal charts that are set for late afternoon of July 4, 1776 Philadelphia, PA.

Personally I tend to use 5:09 pm LMT for America because it places two of the Cardinal World Points on the MC (Goal; Aspirations)/IC (Home; Endings) points. This also places 1776 Saturn (14Libra) and Neptune (22Virgo) on each side of the 00Libra MC which suggests that the now-named 'Deep State' or a Secret/Invisible Government was established from America's founding. And my suspicion has been that the 1776 out-of-bounds Pluto (27Capricorn) was and remains a significator of power elite bosses (then and now) who pull the strings--from abroad:

Of course, the karmic duo of Saturn and Neptune also involves such systems as Socialism, Communism, Marxism, Capitalism--all the oppressive -isms you'd care to name as mentioned in yesterday's (related) post concerning the natal chart and work of H.G. Wells, 'new world order' promoter.

Stealthy Pluto Creeps into His Own!

Is a great philosopher turning over in his grave at the news? It is reported that Plato's mythical Ring of Gyges is no longer a myth but reality.

On an astrological level, we have sneaky spy, saboteur, and assassin Pluto continuing its plod through Saturn-ruled Capricorn and approaching America's first-ever Pluto Return in 2022, and now years of research and development are reported to have come to fruition. This draconian scientific breakthrough sounds like worsening levels of mayhem and destruction to me but perhaps you disagree: Quantum Stealth Invisibility Cloak, From Canada's Hyperstealth Biotechnology, Gets Pentagon Backing. Well, of course it's backed by America's Death Star Pentagon, invested in no doubt. After all, the degree of US natal Mercury (July 4, 1776) has a revealing Sabian Symbol full of Pluto's influence: "A Man Wrapped in an Invisible Mantle of Power" (Jones)...and US Mercury in Cancer opposes natal Pluto in Capricorn across the security axis. Creepy.

Plus, the troubling effects of a US Pluto Return are heightened by the fact that by degree, transit Pluto will first oppose US natal Mercury @24Cancer+, a time of mental manipulation, transformation in our ways of thinking (already on Science's accomplished list), and the misuse and abuse of knowledge, secrets, and confidential information. Transit Pluto will be within a 5-degree orb of opposition to US natal Mercury as soon as March 2017, denoting mind control projects, total awareness technologies, and the evolution of propaganda methods. These Pluto transits wildly activate America's natal Mercury-Pluto opposition which has always intruded upon We the People! Unintended consequence or not, this entire Pluto power grab should be a real boost for the criminal underworld--and it has nuclear implications as well.

Meanwhile, Plato's question in The Republic (Book 2), Would people act morally if their actions were undetectable and unaccountable? is automatically answered since acting morally is no consideration for the hidden hand of cave dweller Pluto in governmental Capricorn. Curious that news of Pentagon backing for this project of immoral proportions is revealed under the current Saturn (government, law, business)/Neptune (hidden, secret, invisible) square from seeker Sagittarius to secretive Pisces. Telling, I would say.

So even if a cloak of invisibility 'revolutionizes' the military industrial complex (the war waging industry), it seems an illegitimate way to conduct business. But if announcing 'the cloak' is meant to increase the level of fear, anxiety, and paranoia in the world it's perfect for that along with creating unfair advantage and thus such gains create massive amounts of negative *karma. And now, with draconian flourish, the dream of a Ring of Gyges finally comes to life...ready to steal lives and other treasures without being seen or suspected while acting as an agent of the Deep State. Oh Canada.
